Text box is no longer dynamic. When I’m drafting the Weibo and if it’s exceeding the screen length, I’m now only able to see the top part of my draft not the bottom part (the part that I’m editing). The text box is no scrollable.

Bugs I care about have been fixed quickly.. Bugs are fixed.

Terrible UX/UI. They probably don’t even know what UI/UX design is. The button logic is terrible. The feed algorithm is bad, once I liked a post, all my feed changes to the same poster under my nose. What are they even thinking?? Like a post doesn’t mean I want to stalk the same poster. The Ads are horrendous and all look the same, even I hit dislike the Ad it just keeps coming back. Means the promoter are probably scammed by them because by doing so they obviously are cheating on the numbers. I need to click into five or six menus to get to my collection, what are collections even for then???? I can’t list the tragic. A very terribly designed app.

Not actually good for international.... Its a great app, very comparable to the online site. However, there is absolutely no way to translate any of the buttons or navigation menus to English for a non-Chinese linguist like myself. As you would suspect, this is an obvious dilemma, seeing as Weibo is a Chinese app, though it should not be labeled as “international” if you cannot translate EVERYTHING (settings and menu buttons) to the local language of the user.

Won’t let me make an account/ sign in. I made this account a few year back and decided to use it again to keep up with into1. It was fine the first few days but when I tried to follow a new person it said my account was suspicious and I needed to verify. I went to setting and tried to verify my number but it wouldn’t let me. So being the person I am I deleted it and re- downloaded it hopping it would work. It did not. I couldn’t sign back in. My password is automatically saved but when I tried to sign in it said this account didn’t exist. I tried making a new account with my number but they called my number suspicious. I tried logging in via WeChat. That didn’t work. I was on loading for a good half hour and gave up. Signing up via QQ is even more tragic. Getting a QQ account is even more so. So I hope the developers can fix this. Or let me sign up another way.

I will give 0 star if I can. This app is trash. It shows my current location to public without my consent. If you comment on someone’s posts, it will show everyone your location. You can’t turn this “feature” off, and they didn’t bother to notify you that they “updated” this feature. It doesn’t matter if you allow this app to know your location or not. Even you are not giving the permission of accessing your location in the Apple settings, this app will STILL show it to the public. I can’t believe Apple is allowing this happening.

Interesting. I decided to try something different-to learn about my favorite actors in Asia since I watch a lot of Korean, Chinese tv shows and movies. The only downfall for me is living in the U.S. and unable to read or write the language (but I’m learning quick). There seems to be more info I need to add (very personal information) like asking for your blood type? Over all, app is okay but I don’t think it’s secure. So I will leave things as they are. Oh, if you are easily frustrated I don’t recommend. Most of the comments on here are very accurate and problematic.

Constantly crashing and annoying ads. Things are getting worse and worse. Now they are putting more and more annoying ads everywhere in this intl version, while at the same time, they could not even make it running smoothly - first you find your likes are gone right after you like any post, and now you find the app mysteriously crashes. I fully understand how important ads/money mean to this team, maybe every team. But, hey, you need to do it in a style! Make it a nice app in the first place!

Notifications. On my settings app my notifications are on but it never gives me notifications when my favorite celebrities post or start a live ive missed 3 lives because it gives no notifications:(

Needs to translate sign up instructions to English. For some reason despite this being the international version the sign up instructions are in Chinese without the option to translate to English or Korean. I will have to delete this app if this issue does not get resolved soon in order to save storage

Low Quality App. I downloaded this app a few moments ago and it has problems. Most social networking apps provide new users with the options of signing up either via other social networking apps (such as Facebook or Twitter) or your email. Then, you are given the option of creating a password for your new account. The company sends you an email to verify your identity and validate your new account with them and when you do that, you’re in. It’s a simple process that takes only a few minutes to complete. Unfortunately, the Weibo app DOES NOT provide any of that at all. So, what are we users supposed to do if they are not given the options of creating a new account so that they can log into this app? Considering all of the negative reviews, I’m beginning to think the Weibo producers don’t actually care about international users and aren’t doing much of anything to fix their bug problems.

Liking Peoblem. For some reason when I like a post it immediately takes away my like. Please fix this! I had already liked some posts and they were kept, but now when I try liking more it doesn't work.

Problem loading pics. I love it's timeline but this app ALWAYS has problem loading pictures, while the original weibo app works just fine. It's not a network issue. It's so annoying that you're not able to see the pictures.

This new updates is helpless in every way. Since last week I started to see ads on my feeds, which never happened before on Weibo intl. Too much ads has always been the reason why I switched to Weibo international from standard Weibo in the first place. So the ads appears. And at the same time the “see translation” option failed to translate my feeds EVERY SINGLE TIME!!? Like dude if u can’t translate the content why bother calling it INTERNATIONAL? I updated earlier today seeing the description of the new updates is “fixed bugs”, but the ads were still there, so was the translation dysfunction. I don’t know what the hell happened to this app that used to be good but I won’t recommend it to anyone right now.

Retrieving Information. I love Weibo, it’s a good app and I get to stay updated with my Kpop stuff. But I recently got a new phone and tried to log into my account but I forgot my password/username, it’ll be nice if you can make it a bit easier to retrieve it rather than the way you have it set currently. Also this is the “international” version of the app I don’t understand why there’s still Chinese in it so that makes it harder for me to try and retrieve it. But all I’m asking for is for you to make it easier to retrieve information because the way you have it now is difficult, please fix it as soon as possible I love this app and I want to continue to use it. Please and Thank you!

Can’t make account. I originally joined Weibo but seeing that there was an international version I’d be nice to actually read what they are saying, however I can’t make a new account under international and I can’t get back into my Weibo account. Every time I try to make and international account a message says that the action could not be complete. I just need help making an account.

Loading problem. The biggest problem I had is about loading: once clicking into a new post, it will re-loading and users always need to wait for second to see the post's full text. The waiting time is unacceptable to me.

Wish there’s an option in language. Love the app. I’m able to followup on my favourite chinese actors and actresses but I wish there’s an language option on the app. It only translate what my idols are saying not the whole app.

All good unless you have duo accounts. The intl. Ver is way much cleaner than the original one, yet when you have two accounts saved on the app, it’s all messed up. Everything you did to ur sec account such as editing profile picture will be saved to ur first account, and people u followed through the 1st account will also show up to ur 2nd account’s home page

Someone took away my likes to certain posts. I found it is outrageously annoying and being violated as an user to this App. My likes to certain blog will constantly disappear within a few hours or one day!!!!!! I have to re-click “ like “on the posts that I like to show my silent support. I have never used this app before until a recent event, found this App is not honest and lack of integrate when managing data from users. This issue has been going on ever since I started using the App in May: same issue happens on laptop too!! Feeling sorry for those ppl who don’t have anything else to use!!

Beware your location privacy is being violated. Your original posts are marked with location in the 'search- nearby' function. Your post are shown to users physically near you even though you did not authorise location privacy to the app or don't turn on location on your phone at all(probably done by IP address detection). This is a serious violation of the trust relation between user and developer.

Please make it easier to download videos. On iPhone, I have tried to save videos numerous times but I just can’t find the ‘save video’ option. I have no functionality issues with the app but a STRONG recommendation I have is to PLEASE make it easier and more straightforward to save videos. Thank you

Chat works again!. The latest update has fixed the bug which causes chat to crash. The app works properly again. Thanks for listening, developer team! -------------------- Terrible update. It crashes the moment you try to open your Weibo messages.

Can’t even make an account. I downloaded the app and tried to create an account via phone number but then I got an alert saying that I received too many verification codes (which I did not because it was my first time signing up) and then I tried going through my WeChat and Apple accounts but then I got a faulty loading screen that wasn’t even loading anything. I tried my phone number again but then it said the client was outdated.

Video playback is choppy!!!. You know when the video is playing while it’s buffering, the video playback is choppy!! Can’t you just wait till a decent amount of video has been buffered and play it smoothly like any other video player???

Something wrong with the new update. I just updated today and I was forced to log off. Now I can’t login and the retrieve password option doesn’t work. I’ve been happy with the app for a long time and pls fix this bug.

Translate Options Gone. I just used the app yesterday and it was fine but after this update I can’t find translate options anymore!!! Please fix it! What’s the point of international version if there’s no translation???

Testing the waters off. I like the layout and it's easy to use especially if Chinese is not your first language. A problem I've encountered is the app crashing every time I try to open the chats I've received. I've tried restarting the app but the problem persists.

Banning users with no explanation is not acceptable!. Weibo has been banning users without any further explanation in the past few weeks. According to their so-called notifications posted by weibo community, they have banned 414 accounts from Jan 21 to Feb 7. Some of the banned accounts can read new posts and replies but can’t post new tweets, retweet, reply or like a post. So others won’t notice those accounts are banned, they would think the accounts are only afk for a while.

Cannot Retrieve My Account. I really like this app since it allows me to stay up to date with my favorite Chinese celebrities. But I just got a new phone and I tried to log back into my account with my original password but it would not allow me to log back in. It kept telling me it’s the incorrect login. So, I tried to retrieve my password but I keep seeing a red error message in Chinese. I have no idea what it’s telling me and it doesn’t seem to allow me to proceed. Now, there’s no way I can create another account since my phone number is already in use and I cannot log in. I would appreciate if you could make it more friendly for international users since this is the international version and make it easier to retrieve account info. I’m sadly going to delete this app since I can no longer access :(

Not working. I used to use this app all the time to see my favorite Chinese celebrities, but now it’s not working. I deleted the app for a while and recently tried getting back on. It keeps saying that I don’t have an account registered with the email I’ve been using for Weibo. I don’t understand why because that’s the same email I’ve been using to login. Then I tried registering using my phone number, but that isn’t working either it’s giving me an error message in Chinese. Please fix this problem because, I would like to start using the app again this was one of my favorite apps to use to keep up with celebrities.

.. The app is wonderful, BUT you have many issues with this. I deleted the app previously and i have redownloaded it but i can not log in. I’m logging in through FB through my # and through email. The app keeps saying there is an error. Please fix this!

Completely unusable. It's the international version but only ever offers the option to log in with a Mainland China phone number despite this being the INTERNATIONAL VERSION. I have had a weibo for half a decade now. I have kept my password and login information up to date for years. And now, suddenly, I cannot log in because it's demanding a mainland China number. I've never even BEEN to China. This is absurd.

disappointed by ads. I’ve been a loyal user of weibo intl because compared to the original app, it has a cleaner interface, and is ad-free. However ads are recently added. I understand this is how business works, but I hope there can be some in-app purchase feature for us to have the ads removed.

My likes disappear & comments/can’t share anything. My likes and comments disappear. I don’t know why but I always have to relike the post over and over. Sometimes i dont even like anything because i dont want to keep reliking posts. I also can’t share any photos/videos. I want to share things but I can’t. Everything else is fine

Bug. Every time I open this updated version on iPhone 8P with iOS13.1.2, the "the itunes store is unable to process purchases at this time" pops up. Every Time. No other apps, just this one. Every Time.

No true freedom of speech. Filled with trashy adds. AVOID. This app allows whoever pays for the service by this app the ability to blacklist/block other people at their own will, no matter if their comments offensive or not. Then you won’t be able to post ANYWHERE for 3 days just because you said something to the person that he/she does not like, rather than actually offensive. They DONT CARE and clearly this mechanism is being exploited. To think that I hated Twitter.

Frustrating. Overall I think this app is great, but I logged out and I tried to log back in but it said that I didn’t have an account? I checked on Weibo and my account was still there. I tried logging in with my mobile phone but it said that the number of codes exceed the limit and I had to wait tomorrow. So I waited and tried again, didn’t work. Tried the next day and didn’t work. I tried logging in with Facebook cause I thought I logged in with it, but it won’t load the page. So frustrating...

Can’t even make an account. Such a poor app if it continuously give you the error of having too many codes sent today and come back and try again tomorrow, especially if it’s the first time to ever attempt to sign up for an account. What is the point of the international version if it doesn’t even allow users to set up an account to begin with. What a disappointment.

It’s Okay. It would be nice if the settings have an option for other languages other than Chinese, or it could be the universal language like English. Also, it would help if the registration allows other venues like Facebook, Google, LinkedIn, or etc to access in order create an account. So far these are the biggest failures that disappoint me about this app, otherwise it’s not bad.

Can’t load or sign in after iOS update. Finally updated to iOS 13.5.1 tonight, and big mistake! Was able to use weibo international minutes before update. After update, the page would not load. I deleted and downloaded the app again. Now I can’t even log in. I tried both regular weibo and weibo international, none of them worked. I guess they are not compatible to this iOS.

Account. So I’ve been logged out of my account for a long time now and the only way i can stay up to date with China is through this app. Pleas you all need to let me get back into my account. Like why have an international app if internationals can’t have an account, make it make sense.

Cannot Register New Account with Phone number. Cannot Register New Account with New Phone number, always show Error. Cannot login to old Account when I changed to iOS device. Very difficult for user to sign up. Not user friendly. Settings and Help should also show with English. Chinese from Oversea don’t understand some chinese characters.

HORRIBLE APP. Horrible experience！ They forced me to follow a lot of people that I am not even interested! I have to click those following back and I thought it is finally over. But then they use some machine or some other methods to make me follow tons of trash!!!! Some of them are not even legal account that lure you to gamble or to watch porn video to pay!!!! What’s more? I changed my password three times! And now I am not allowed to follow anybody because ‘I concerned a lot of people?’. What is this all about now? Can you tell me Sina?

Unstable loading speed. All I want from this international version than the original Weibo app is a clean and correct timeline. It surely has. But the loading speed of images and videos frequently makes me crazy. Most of time they show up quickly, but if they could not get loaded in 5s they will never show up.

I need help with this app. I was enjoying this app and staying up to date with my favorite Chinese celebrity, but then unfortunately my account was bugged and I can’t even use it … I can’t post anything, Like anything, I can’t even comment … I can’t even fix this issue , Everytime I post something it goes into my draft , with an error message… data parameters is nil… I used to have so much fun using this app… but after this occurred, I haven’t used it like I want to …. No cluttered ads, postings displayed in correct order. Much better than regular Weibo app. Now I can finally read postings in correct chronological order, and no annoying ads displayed. Emoji sets are also very complete.

Please update the server. I’m liking this version of Weibo as it seems to have less ad as the original one. But the connection time to load each feed or video is way to long. Even comments and reposts sometimes don’t even load. Please improve your server stability for international users.

Won’t let me sign up. I had an account but it started acting up when i liked one of the post but it won’t let me , when i try to go to my account it keep saying “activate my account “ like whattt?!!!! My mistake was i logged out . Then it won’t let me go back in anymore it’s been 3 days and weibo is not working at all , i tried a lot of attempts .

Flash quit. Flash quit after updated to version 3.3.0. Been trying for all day, still the same, nothing fixed.

Privacy issues. I turned off the GPS and location authority, but it can still analyze my location and show my location to other users publicly!!! Many users have found this issue and contacted the developer but they refuse to fix it!!!

Simple UI design, no ad but have some bugs. It cannot show the details of chats and sometimes fails to load a video. Hopefully you can fix these bugs for the next update.

Worst social app I have ever used! Block user account for no reason. This is the most disgusting app I ever used! Block oversea users’ account for no reason! There are no human customer service and they never check their feedback board! I can’t post or commenting anything. However my account, according to their account problem check system, “has no problem”. If your app doesn’t need oversea users why bother develop an oversea version?

This app listens to the gyro of your phone. when you start the app, randomly you should not making any movement to your phone or rotate it, otherwise it launches other apps such as jd, taobao, or wechat microapps automatically. very annoying, shame on you! and shame on the product manager that created the gyro advertisement! Weibo violates users' privacy. Weibo starts show the users' locations based on its IP address in comments purposefully. This move violates users' privacy and safety.

Waste of Time. I really wanted to get onto Social in China and share my professional travel media with a broader market. So I download the app. Apparently my number is already in use. The FAQ solution, use a different phone number. Strange that I can’t claim my own number but OK... so try a new number. No SMS, try another, No SMS. Use my computer. Get an error message in Chinese. Run it through translate. Message says “this number has had too many SMS requests”. But I only attempted the request once. So what’s the deal? Is this just an app that collects and sells our sign up info and phone numbers? Do they even allow sign in from outside China?

用海外手机登录微博太困难了. 我的手机号是海外手机号。二步验证总是通不过。终于通过修改密码收到登陆验证码，另外一个手机被迫下线。再想在另一个手机上登陆就算改密码、用同样的sim card也不管用了。要么显示您的电话号码跟登记的不一样（废话呢，你们发国际短信号码就是001+我的电话号码，而不是+（国家）（区号）电话。气死人了。我家里2台iPad 4个手机2个电脑想登陆个微博这么困难。

I want my privacy and dignity. Weibo reveals my location without consent. But celebrities and other official account can have their information hidden. I’m strongly against this hierarchy and the cruel invasion of my privacy.

Ads forcibly opens other apps. This is the only app I use that shows ads upon opening. Lately I’ve been getting ads that forcibly open other apps without prompting and installs extensions automatically. It’s extremely obnoxious and shouldn’t this go against some kind of guidelines? I did not consent to having weird WeChat extensions installed for me.

Why you force the user to verify via phone number only?. I have the email address and password. I know it might be safer to verify before login, why can’t we sign using email verification? Your app can only verify via phone number of China, what about overseas users? Are they not human to you?

bug不修，钱倒是不想少挣. bug一堆，每次更新都能带来新的bug，从来没有哪一个版本能够保证良好的体验的。现在更新后广告也越来越多，点了不感兴趣一样出现同样的广告，那设置这个按钮的意义在哪里呢？

DO NOT USE. THIS APP SHOWS UR LOCATION. The Weibo Chinese version recently had a new function to show the users location. When the users use the Weibo Intl. to post a comment under sensitive topic (politics for example), the Weibo Intl. user won’t know their IP has been shown underneath. However, users using the Chinese version will clearly see all users’ location including Weibo Intl (please note I have turned off all my location services, which means this app is directly locating me using my IP. I don’t care what the purpose is, but I wrote in my profile that I live overseas. Weibo Intl. does not have the right to do this.) I think this is a huge privacy violation.

Unreliable services with your accounts liable to be muted. Weibo might be the only social platform in the world where your accounts can be deactivated overnight for NO reason. Due to the notorious censorship on a national level, this platform is less and less reliable from an ordinary user’s perspective. The government can be more sensitive than users, and your posts and comments can be silenced / stopped from appearing unknowingly. Even worse, your accounts can be totally gone unannounced. Display your liked weibo even if you hide them. This app records your location information without permission and leaks it. Your liked weibo can be easily viewed in Chinese local version even if you hide them in privacy setting. Bad stuff.

cannot see messages. it is not surprising that my account got suspended because i showed my support of sexual harassment victim. However, after my account got suspended, i cannot see messages from the admin about how long my account will be suspended.

Needs to translate sign up instructions to English. For some reason despite this being the international version the sign up instructions are in Chinese without the option to translate to English or Korean. I can’t login. I couldn’t sign up at first. There was an error getting verification messages. So I tried to sign up on the web. And now, I can’t login on this app. Since I’m a foreigner I chose this app rather than original one. But it keeps asking me to input “CHINESE PHONE NUMBER” There is no other choice. I’ve been used this app before I closed my former account. So I knew this app is way more convenient for foreigners. I hope the error will be fixed soon.

Updates never fix any bugs...probably create more bugs. There are way too many bugs comparing to other social media apps. And you wouldn’t believe how often they offer updates that claim fix bugs but none of the bugs ever get fixed

Can’t log in anymore. This app was just fine until I couldn’t log on using Facebook anymore. The app doesn’t allow you to log in any other way , making this app completely useless to me. Seems to me like the company doesn’t care about the international version.

When I try to register. I tried to register a new account with my new phone number, and the app said the number’s captcha acceptance exceeds daily limit. Ironic when I downloaded it for the first time and tried to open a new account rather than browsing it from Wechat applet. 少洽点烂钱，做点修bug之类的正事。

Bad app. Tried to sign to weibo after Elon Musk rate limitation of tweets but I was disappointed that my country isn’t added to the app for phone verification. Speech Control Is Terrible. A bunch of abuse and personal attacks on there while Weibo takes no action. But if you post anything negative about CCP, your posts and comments will be deleted immediately and every function on Weibo will be blocked.

Not usable. You guys keep updating the app with the same “bugs fixed” description. The real bug was never fixed. Every time you view an image or video and rotate your phone to see it full screen and exit, it will scroll back up. Now after today’s update, it won’t even open on iPhone XS Max.

Buggy. App will reload every time there is notification or access to control center. Change volume durning video playing will result playback problem and sound issues.

Useful feature being removed, lots of ads!. The most recent update removed 超话 from the “我的” screen, can’t understand why they make such decision. All they do is continue to embed ads into this app!

Your account can be delete any time without a reason. I had an account with weibo for more than 6 years, and got disabled by this police platform. No notification, no communication whatsoever. Email the support and the reply was as simple as this “violation of the regulation, cannot bring your account back.” What a joke.

Stop you cannot deactivate your account. I downloaded this app to follow the actress and actors but this app does not translate it in proper English or neither you can’t delete or do name change( your name can be changed only every year) isn’t it crazy.
