Homescapes: Match 3 Games Comments & Reviews 2026

Why is there no bathroom?. Overall a great and interesting game to play. Fun and challenging. Love: the extra rooms, added updates, extra “decor” you can earn by playing the seasonal games, graphics, some of the storylines, the cat, easy game within the game that earns stars/lives, garden is truly beautiful, no (direct) ads Confused by: no bathroom, the parents have no bedrooms, some colour and design choices Can do better: some storylines esp Katherine who is supposed to be the romantic interest but always looks on the verge of crying, the “ friends” are made to seem inclusive but can come off as tokenism, father is just plain annoying. Game forces you to play constantly by withholding some of the extra rooms. No ads which is a plus but then indirectly pushes you to purchase by not allowing you to proceed. (It is possible to play without purchasing, you just may be stuck on a level until game decides to let you go on, the level will be impossible to win until you’ve failed enough times and suddenly will become super easy) which brings me to next point which is game is neither skill based or luck but seem driven by trying to get you to purchase stuff through it. Some levels are so easy and then impossible until the same level becomes impossibly easy after you’ve either bought some bonus or tried enough times that it gives up on you purchasing. I get it, that’s the point of these things but still.

I love the game but beware. I am over level 2000 on the game. I love it but wish I could say I have enjoyed every second of it. I appreciate a challenge and I totally understand some levels will be frustrating and take a lot of time to finally beat. However I have noticed several times during a critical move to clear a level, the game piece will move in the opposite direction from where I swipe it, making an error that forces me to continue trying to beat that level. This has happened several times on multiple devices. I have also noticed when pieces are falling after clearing a large section of a level, sometimes pieces that are supposed to create power-ups when matched don’t create them, like 5 in a row to create a rainbow multiplier. I feel like the algorithm of the game does this purposefully to keep the player from advancing too quickly. And I can tell you this, a large percentage of “luck” is involved in passing hard levels. I’ve noticed that if I’m stuck on a level and don’t play for a long while when I come back to the game it clears much easier because of the game pieces given. Overall I like the game and enjoy the process but I don’t like these cheats. At all.

Easy pass. I’ve seen these ads for a long time before deciding to try it out. I deleted it after reaching level 20. The reason I deleted it is because it’s too boring to me. It was interesting fixing up the house but having to use multiple stars for some aspects and even to move to the next day is greedy. The bank I despised. Good premise but it holds coins you earn hostage unless you pay to buy it once you accumulate 3000 or 5000 coins. There is no choice either, you watch your coins disappear. The small mini games shown in the ads are the best part but they are way too few and far between. The majority of this game is playing levels over and over trying to get the next star to fix the never ending repairs. I also found having to use stars to open packages annoying. If I’m getting a gift it should be just. There is some humor and the scenes are colorful which is why i gave it two stars. Had the earning of coins been much higher, the mini games much more prevalent, the bank either free to obtain or at least an option, the limiting of one star per repair and not having to use stars on anything other than repairs I could have seen playing this longer. I tried these match three types of games several times now and always delete them quickly once the repetition of levels hits. If the match three aspect was a minor part rather than 90% of playing these would be tremendous fun, I’d even consider paying for that.

Hi. I really like this game but like I’ve seen a lot a people say this game has a lot of very hard levels that gives you like 10 lives which is nothing to try and complete levels where you have to collect like 40 Cherry’s while there’s double chains blocking a lot of pieces and it’s very frustrating sometimes when I spend several days trying to complete a level that gives me a bad amount of lives and unlike some other designing games I’ve played another thing is that it’s not like you could watch a couple of adds and skip a hard level but in this game I just have to wait to get lives because the limit is only five lives and I’ve wanted to delete this many times out of frustration but I don’t because I’m just hoping that there will be an update that makes the limit for life’s higher and maybe adds would help people who also are frustrated about hard levels because whenever I’m on a hard level it’s like the game wants us to pay for lives or coins. The last issue I have is also that you have to pay 900 coins to continue a level I think it should. be lowered to around 400 because a lot of times on the hard levels I use up all my coins completing the level. Overall if these issues get fixed it would be a five star but until then it’s a four and it’s a pretty fun game

Over it.. I have played this game for a while now and here recently, y’all have been doing this thing yall wait forever and ever to actually pull money out of my account. This is about the 3rd or 4th time y’all have had a pending purchase on my bank account which now it says it’s STILL PENDING and it’s been 4 days. Why is it taking so long for yall to take the money when I bought something days ago?? The money is in there and yall even say “ purchase successful “ or I wouldn’t have been able to buy said purchase. The bank attached to this game, I don’t keep a lot of money in & Yall wait until I have less that what the purchase is to finalize it or it usually doesn’t “ finalize” until I purchase something else on your app. I’m not buying something else just for yall to finalize a purchase from a week ago. I’m frustrated & over this and will probably be deleting the game soon. I always have to wait for y’all to take the money so I can’t use that card at all until then. This is so ridiculous. I love this game and my team but if this continues I won’t be able to play anymore. I’m an active buyer on this app so yall get ALOT of my money and it’s irritating when yall charge me but don’t actually take the money out. I’m sitting here thinking I have more than what I actually do and use the money for something else then I get a notification saying y’all are trying to take the money AGAIN. Please fix this. I don’t want to delete the game but I will if this doesn’t get fixed.

Levels and games. Love the game, but needs some improvements. For starters some of the levels are to tough for the amount of moves you get. So to beat them you have to buy tokens. When a super hard level only gives you 8 moves to clear 16 cherry’s and 15 rings it’s unrealistic to beat in 8 moves. The Knights race is a joke! I was in 2nd place by three levels from third place, 4th place was 4 levels and 5th was 7 levels behind and first was a level ahead. I beat my level in 5 moves with double rainbow cubes. Took me less than a minute, but when it went to the main screen it said “hurry you just got past” and I was 2 levels behind in last place. That means the other so called players behind me beat 5, 6, and 7 levels in less than a minute. I don’t think so. Then the hard level I was two moves from completing and I ran out of moves and I bought tokens. I used a double airplane to win the level and the airplanes never went to the right spots and I couldn’t win, so I used 1200 tokens to get more moves. Again I had no moves to make. I sadly bought more tokens and was able to use the hammer twice to get my win. When it went to the main screen the knights race was over and I was 9 levels behind. What a joke. Please fix! It is a fun game, but at time beyond frustrating.

Love this game BUT changes need to be made!. I love this game! I’ve played many games, but this one has become my favorite. Over time though, I am beginning to get frustrated! You only get about 50-80 coins a game after completing the level, but in order to get more chances to play it’s 900 coins for the first 5 extra moves and then goes up to 1200. I don’t even know what’s after that, because it’s just so much! Even with the rewards they grant, you only get 100 coins which is like nothing. You really have to spend money to play this game. I’ve tried to be patient and play the games out without spending money, but many levels you just can’t! I don’t mind spending the money here and there, but it’s so expensive, it doesn’t even make it worth it. You get 1000 coins for .99 and it takes 900 coins to get 5 extra turns. That adds up really quick! Plus it’s even more expensive if you want power ups! I’m not too sure how much more I can continue playing if they don’t make some changes. It’s beginning to add up with how many coins I’ve been buying just to beat rounds. On top of that I believe that there are also sometimes when the board isn’t applying the power ups correctly. It's almost like a glitch or something that’s not working. I’m really hoping they make some changes to this game! Such a shame that it seems they are more concerned about money, than people continuing to play.

Read this! It’s very helpful!!. I downloaded this game because some of my friends had it. It was fun in the beginning because the levels weren’t super hard and the stars added up quickly. So it was really fun when I first got it. I’ve looked at other reviews for this game and they all have one thing in common: at a certain point in the game, the levels get super hard and are impossible to beat without buying power-ups and coins with real money. This was very annoying to me and I’m sure it was to a lot of people. I eventually just gave up on the game because there was no way I could beat this one level, and I didn’t have enough coins or any power-ups. Since deleting this game I’ve seen so many adds for it. All the adds for Homescapes, and other playrix games, make these games seem like a whole bunch of minigames. This is not true! When I played Homescapes, I got really far. I was almost to level 2,000! This game uses the adds to make it seem like a whole lot of minigames after minigames after minigames! While there were a few minigames sprinkled throughout Homescapes, there weren’t nearly enough to justify that all the adds for this game show only minigames. When there were minigames they were super easy and not that fun. The developers need to make more realistic adds and make the levels doable for people who aren’t willing to spend money to beat them.

WHATS WITH THE CREEPY AD?!. This is a decent and fun game... But the ads that I see for this game while I’m playing other games don’t make any sense at all: they are completely misleading and don’t have anything to do with the Actual gameplay. When I first downloaded this game it was because of an ad that I’d seen, and the demo allowed me to pick out which furniture, which wallpaper, etc. Then I downloaded Homescapes and played, even spent some money on it because I was having fun and wanted to keep progressing. Now all the ads I see for this game don't make sense. I see some where the main characters are trapped on an island and they are being attacked by a shark, some where they are stranded in the cold and freezing, and within the last couple days I saw two more that DONT MAKE SENSE! The guy has to pee and he’s running down the hall and things are breaking. Then the reason I wrote this review is because I was so confused and disturbed by the one I just saw: the guy has his hands and feet tied to bed posts and the room is on fire and he wants to escape. That seems macabre and violent; who tied him there... his parents? It’s creepy when you compare it to the actual innocent and child friendly gameplay. What in the world was that ad?! Why would you make that strange violent ad to promote this game? I’m disturbed... lol... it’s been months and months since I’ve seen an ad that depicts anything similar to the actual gameplay. :/

Issues.. You read the title, and probably thought (didn’t) that this would be a one star review, again, from me. But no! This is way better than some games out there, and the few remaining Match 3 games that are still ages 4+. But, like every game, because they’re not perfect, it has some issues. Like difficulty, for an example. When I started playing Homescapes, it was nice and easy for a while. But, when I reached level 24, I was STUCK. And I’m stuck on that level for days. And I deleted the game because I’m stuck on another level right now. But, unlike Gardenscapes, there are more combos than just the rainbow ball that destroys every piece. That’s a little OP for a game, but this isn’t about Gardenscapes. Next topic, Quests. Almost every time I download this game, I get a quest notification, a welcome back gift, and a season pass. I get that you want more variety in your game series, but with the adventure things that are there almost every single time, it gets quite boring. I want more kinds of quests, besides the two Merge and Adventure quests. So those are the two issues I had with the game. It’s still amazing. So don’t think negatively about my review. P.S I got stuck on level 141 or 140 and I stopped getting your ads after I downloaded and deleted, and did the repeat cycle because I get stuck. Just fix the levels.

It’s a fun game but…. I have been playing for years now and in the past year or so I had to start from level 1 again after already making it to about the 1,000th level ( I tried to transfer my data from and old phone to my current and lost my saved game progress ) anyway I’m on level 2,164 now and I’ve noticed something. Now I know I’m in the 2,000s regarding the levels, however some of the “hard” levels are extremely difficult to do and I sometimes spend DAYS trying to beat one level. No I'm not spending 5,10, or even 20 dollars to beat the level or buy power ups, Some people can afford that, I cannot. I play the game because its free. Not only that but some of these “hard” levels are more difficult that the “extremely hard” levels. On so many different instances I have been stuck on a “hard” level and once I beat it there’s maybe one or two “normal” levels, then I get an “extremely hard” level and beat it in the first or second try. I honestly love how challenging the game can be but other times I get so frustrated because I can’t beat a level and spend my 5 moves in 10 minutes then I have to wait A HALF AN HOUR for ONE move so I just end up not playing for the rest of the day. Not really expecting anything to change just want to let people what game they get into when they download this.

Loyalty breeds spending. I’m all for supporting developers and I realize the time and expense that goes into creating a game. But when it’s seemingly impossible to get past levels for days at a time without purchasing power ups, it starts to feel like I’m spending way too much money. First, it’s way too hard to get past many of these levels given the power ups that you are able to create, and the game is not intuitive as many others are, to afford you “spontaneous” gifts that get you through a level. Second, given the time, effort, and often money it takes to get a point it is really “expensive“ to get any of the projects done. If you’re a player that is enjoying the game because of the creative side, then it’s almost pointless because you’ll never get the point and the frustration isn’t worth it. Third, the most successful games I believe are the ones that let you play the most and when you’re up against truly challenging level you’re willing to fork over the bucks To get past it. These are the games that I felt as if the developers showed me a good time and deserve the money I’m spending in power ups. Unfortunately this is not one of those games. I feel as if you’re just making it so hard That it’s not fun.

Homescapes. Love this game been playing it for years have spent a lot of money. this is one of those games as in Gardenscapes and a lot of the other puzzle match decorating games that the people that are usually interested in playing this or interested in the decorating part of the game you go to a lot of trouble in a lot of time to get through the puzzles to get a couple of stores and you really don’t wanna waste your stores on somebody talking on the phone or walking or doing a dance you want to have choices and decorate and you would like to do one room at a time that would make this game so much more worthwhile you play for so long and these puzzles the longer you are in this world and to take a half an hour to earn two stores and then have somebody make a cell phone call for two stars takes away from the excitement and the want to continue to do another puzzle I say take out all the stuff that has nothing to do with decorating people wanna decorate that’s why they’re picking these games it becomes frustrating and you stop lying you would be more interested in earning more stores if you knew you were finishing up a room and get your interest or you wanna match the colors you wanna make more decisions and decorating if not you could just go play candy crush So that would be the one improvement because it starts to get frustrating the longer you go on and eventually you’re gonna move onto a new game with more decorating and I love the other nonsense

Has Potential. Homescapes is sort of a game I just stumbled on but as I got to know the storyline better, I became more interested. I’ve been playing this game for about one or two years, and at first I kind of didn’t seem much enthusiastic about the game, and it’s only because the way you get stars by matching objects and such didn’t seem like much fun, then, they added a new update where you could play mini games, and then, ( in my opinion) the game had more purpose to it, more to do. First off, to me, I didn’t exactly like how you had extra to do in levels like, for example, bring the doughnuts down, collect cherries, break chains, and match items to get carpet. Matching (once again, to me) isn’t very much fun especially when you have to do extras, and have a specific amount of moves to do it. Second, simple things such as collecting stars to “start a new day” isn’t worth going through a level, and having the risk of losing a life just to “start a new day”. Finally, the furniture needs to have a wider variety of colors, textures, types, etc. added to them. Overall, the game has potential and I really do enjoy it but I just feel, ( in my opinion) the game is getting more attention, more downloads, and getting older, it needs to have more options and explanations, (especially to new players) but if you want a simple, free, relaxing game I would definitely suggest it. Thank you for time! Sincerely, FeedUpWithBugs.

Awesome game! But.... I love this game. It’s so relaxing and entertaining. It’s nice to have challenging levels. However, once you get further into the game, you can’t play as much because you start to go through lives like a hot knife through butter, which is why I can only give this app four stars. The stars in the game feel less and less possible to gain because each one takes over a day to gain sometimes. The challenge is fun, but perhaps there should be different difficulty levels for people who are interested in different aspects of the game? Not just an “easy mode” in which some levels are a bit easier, but a normal and hard mode as well. Or perhaps an occasional “watch ad to get one more move but if you want five more moves you have to pay” because it is very aggravating to feel as if you either have to have a ton of power ups or be able to purchase the five extra moves every time. Especially when, out of those five extra moves, you only needed to use one of the moves. I enjoyed the game a lot, but I want to be able to play without feeling like purchasing coins is a requirement to move forward. Overall, a good game- I love the aesthetic of the furniture, the plot is interesting and somewhat realistic, and Captain Flint is a very nice touch to the game. Just a few things that could be edited to make it more playable.

Read!. So when I first downloaded it I thought it was gonna be one of those fake ad games but surprisingly it was not. What I mean is that is challenging but also it’s not too challenging where you can’t level up. Also sometimes when you level and complete the task it lets you chose what design you want like for example if I completed a level I would get one star and then I would be able to complete a task and make a bench and then they would let me like design what I wanted the bench too look like and what color which is really nice since you get some choice in the game and the game isn’t just choosing everything for you. I also like how there’s these levels were you only get one shot at and if you complete it, it gives you three stars since usually you only get one. Another thing is that sometimes my friend did have to some money because they just couldn’t beat the levels but most of the levels aren’t that hard and they are possible to beat without money spending. I once completed 30 levels in a row without having to retry or spend money and I am not the best at these types of game. My honest opinion is that this game is a really fun challenging experience and sometimes there’s a few errors and mistakes but honestly this is a really good game that a lot of people should try!

Is anyone there?. This will be the third review I have wrote and still nothing posted or any response given. Why offer someone to write about your game if you have no intention to post it? I’m sure this one will end up is the same spot as the others, the deleted/don’t care what you have to say trash. The point of every game is to be challenging, what’s the fun if it isn’t. This game however takes challenging to a whole other level! As I’ve said it other post, this is not a game of skill. It’s all based if the game allows the pieces to fall, the boosters to point in the direction needed to win. A blind monkey can play this game because it’s all luck, like a slot machine. Most levels, no matter if they are regular, hard, or super hard take 2-3 lives to beat. I will say, I have on very rare occasion beat a level on the first attempt. Currently I am on level 214 “super hard” I have attempted to beat this level no less than 25 times, maybe more! Challenging 🙄? Let’s change the game to mission impossible 🤣😭! I have spent real money on a package to help. It’s was useless and I went through it in a couple levels. Developers, can you tone it down a bit and let people actually get through the game like games are intended? I know that seems like a lot to ask, but at least consider it before you just delete my message. Thank you for your time and mine I wasted writing this 😂🤣!

Cute and fun! 👌🏻 But here’s the thing.. Homescapes is a good app. Not amazing but it’s good. It’s cute, it’s colorful and you feel accomplished when you fix the tv or replace the chair. The characters are nice and honestly kind of funny. 😄 and I’m glad you guys even included pets in the game! I like how everything is tried to kept decorated around the house. I like Homescapes much better than gradenscapes just because the colors and the graphics are better int my opinion. At least the game is a little better. The problem is you have to get stars from playing one game only. And even on a hard level you still get 1 star. It’s annoying how fast your stars run out. What’s even more annoying, it’s that sometimes you have to give one of your stars just to open a box, that you’ve already given a star for box to get to the house! What I’m saying is give more chances to get stars. Like as a prize. Instead of just money, give us a little money and a star! Or have different games besides just the one game to match the colors. Another thing is that it takes so long to complete one floor or one area of the house because of how limited of the stars you have. So I suppose you should just focus on the star problem because it will fix this one of taking so long! 😆 Please take this into consideration. The game would be much more entertaining and exciting if I didn’t give up so much on the game. Thank you 🐘🐘🐘

Games should be fun. The only way this game can be fun is if you spend money. It’s fun when things are moving along but you will get stuck on one level for days unless you spend money. Think about this for one minute …the same level, same puzzle that is super hard and since you cannot skip this particular puzzle you play the same one like I have for 2-3 even 4 days straight giving it 20 -30 times per day. That’s not fun it’s frustrating. I’m looking for a game to relieve a little stress, have fun and look forward to playing again the next day. Not this game. The developer could integrate some ads to give those without endless supply of money to have fun getting through some of the levels. Like watch an ad to continue a level when you run out of moves. Now you have to spend your coins you get from winning levels (which is very low ) to the next level. When I run out of coins which is usually one retry then the only way to move forward is to play the same level for days many times per day until the game lets you win by some miracle but only after days of frustration. This is where you have to either spend money to advance or go stark raving mad trying to. This is where I will guarantee you they loose many players that don’t have the cash. The ads to help move forward will help keep more players playing and not leaving such that some money can still be made for the developer without discriminating against the rich and the poor.

Levels really hard..payout really low. I really like this game and Gardenscapes but it is getting very discouraging to play. The levels are so hard and the payout is so low. I’m deleted the game today because I don’t spend “real” money on games, especially when there isn’t a good return. The amount of coins that are needed to buy things like boosters and lives are crazy high. 900 coins for 5more moves on a level is crazy and then if you want to do it again, it’s 1200! When you only win between 50 and 100 coins ( on a really good round) it takes a really long time to recoup. They are very stingy with giving you boosters and chances to get more coins. I play other games that are very generous with coins and boosters which allows me to play and enjoy the game. Isn’t that what the game should be all about? Challenging levels are one thing, but when it takes so many lives to win a level it’s not fun anymore. I won 2 hours, played constantly for that time and only made it through 2 levels. Also, when you win 2or 3 hours of free play, it should be put away so I can play when I want to. If I win 3lives on the wheel, it gets put away...I should be able to play an hour at a time when I want to play....I worked hard to win those hours and I should be able to play them. Love the game, but it’s too bad that the developers are really greedy and don’t want us to enjoy their games.

Unhappy with some recent changes. I have both Homescapes and Gardenscapes and I’ve been playing them both for several years now probably about five or six. I love them both. However, some of the recent changes are upsetting to me. It used to be when when you ended level but couldn’t complete it it would tell you how many you didn’t complete and then give you the option to pay the 900 coins to finish now it doesn’t tell you that it just gives you the option to pay 900 coins to try to complete it. I find that very annoying because before I put out my money or my coins, I would really like To be reminded of how many tasks I still need to complete to see whether or not it is possible, and if I should waste my coins to try to do it. You have also raised the rate for when the alt is full, it used to be 5000 coins and now it’s only 3000 coins but it’s the same price. As a long time player I do not appreciate this when we’re doing the extra games where where trying to complete a story I feel like it’s almost impossible to complete the story in the given amount of time unless you’re playing all day long, or spending a lot of money to get more energy. I work and so therefore I cannot spend all day trying to play the story, but I would like to see one of the stories eventually get to a completion, so perhaps you could attempt to make some of the stories a little bit shorter, so that they are more attainable in the given amount of time, thank you

i was disappointed ngl. Personally when I see ads and they interest me I want to make sure that what i’m getting is what i saw to begin with. However these ads I saw that convinced me to get this app is barely in the app to begin with! It makes me frankly quite upset that I’m not able to do the things advertised to me. I even tried to play the game as it is and it’s just not as exciting as I thought it would be, it’s very easy to loose lives without figuring a way to get them back fast without spending money. I know the point of buying more is so the developers can get money but it just seems excessive. The story line is cool, just slow and has a lot of side tracks for event that don’t even matter in the long run. Just kind of a meh game that you can only really sit through for a short amount of time before it gets repetitive and you’re bribed to buy something. Personally the ads that trick people into downloading seem a lot more fun and shouldn’t just be shown as something you can get like once every plethora of levels. Should honestly just be a completely different game entirely, if you want to seek a game and have to market it as something different to get people to play, maybe reconsider. But that’s just my opinion, and honestly if I were told where to find an app that actually had the cool “mini games” in this I’d be more than happy to forget the disappointment I faced when opening the app and realizing what it was really like.

On Level 1725. So I’ve played this game for a long time. I can fairly say that it is a well-executed game with consistent updates and support. I like the creative side as well as the puzzle side it’s a nice balance. One thing everyone should know unequivocally before beginning, however, is that the developers hate the players. Hate may not even be a strong enough word for it. I could be wrong, maybe it’s impossible to fairly balance a puzzle game but to program it so much in the favor of you losing is... unsurprising considering how often it wants you to purchase things. Now, you don’t have ads in this game, which is nice, and the options to purchase don’t ensure victory (I mean at all), so in a sense the game is consistent and there’s some comfort in that. The reward system is pretty rough, it does sometimes feel like an endless attempt to wear you down. You will rage quit from time to time, or put it down for a couple months, but this is a casual game. Whereas other games make me feel as if they’ve earned my business, I find the challenge of this one is seeing how far I can go without spending any money, because it tries so hard. It’s my tiny moral victory. But hey, great time waster so if that’s what you’re going for, you’ll likely stay engaged and distracted from your reality and isn’t that what we all want anyways?

Recommend! But some suggestions. This game is really amazing. It has nice graphics, story line and NO ADS!!! I had to think before I wrote this and realized that fact. The match 3 stuff itself can get really hard though. In the match 3 there are regular levels and then there are the purple hard levels and the red super hard levels. I think there should be something when you have attempted a level a lot of times there is a way the game gives you a certain amount of skips or something like that. Especially since the whole moving forward in the game relies on the completion of levels. Maybe this could become something you buy with real money? I’m not saying I would buy it because my mom never lets me buy stuff for games, but other people would. I have noticed this thing that the game does, especially when there are events. They give unlimited lives again and again for rewards but the problem is that this plays automatically and forces you to keep playing the game until the time runs out. I think that many people including me would appreciate it if there was this sort of bank of something that keeps the rewards that have a certain time limit, so you can use them when you want. Thanks for reading my review and suggestions. I’m just a kid but these suggestions apply to everyone so pls take into consideration.☺️😁-meeee

Used to love this game, still like it but needs improvements. I’ve never left a game review but I am hoping this gets fixed because I really do enjoy playing. First, the more you play, the more they charge you for in game purchases. I understand costs are going up but when you charge 10 and sometimes 20x the cost for loyal players as you do for occasional and new players, it’s absurd and you are loosing my business from it. Forcing people to play your sub games and not opting out takes away from why some users actually play the game. In Tournament of champions, you HAVE to play and don’t get to level up or earn stars. I don’t mind playing the tournaments IF I am not loosing out on my other rewards. Not all of us who play can play all day to win an award at the end. Also, if you brought the cost of pass activations back down to $3.49 or even $4.99 for your advanced players, I think you’d profit a lot more. Increasing from $1.99 to now $9.99 I will simply not spend my money anymore out of spite. You went from making a decent revenue from some players to many not wanting to spend at all now because you are gauging us instead of rewarding us for being loyal players and customers. Overall the game is fun and addictive. The layout, game style and format are perfect. Not kiddish and not complex either. I appreciate that you are not constantly running ads after every session but there needs to be some adjustments made soon to make it fun like it was before.

Maybe add voice to stories?. Hey so I love this game and have been playing for a while (level 4,939) but I have to admit I’ve stopped reading the dialog. I skim through but have no idea what’s going on or what the purpose is of the room I’m redoing. (Usually I’m unwinding after the day and watching tv at the same time and am just too tired or confused about the plot to read.) I really just like playing match game and getting seasonal decor for the front lawn. It would be awesome if you guys added a text-to-voice feature. It could be as basic as a Siri robot voice or as elaborate as voice actors. Either way, I’d love to have it just read out the text so I can know what’s going on without having to read 20 speech bubbles. Also, these rooms are getting kind of absurd too. I think the lake house is bigger than the main/original mansion. Like they have this whole aquatic research lab, a massive, completely vacant bakery (can we get some fake patrons in here??), an art studio/writing study, and now I don’t even know what the current room is with the stained glass. Why don’t we design the other characters’ homes instead of building this nonsensical overly-extravagant monstrosity? We could do Lao’s house, Raúl’s, etc. I haven’t unlocked the mountain estate but I bet it’s the same.

Annoying Storylines. I'm giving this game 3/5 stars for a few reasons. I thoroughly enjoy the puzzle aspect itself, more so than competing puzzle games. The animations are smoother, the power ups are well thought out and exciting to use, and the puzzles are fun. I'm docking points though, because the storylines are infuriating to deal with. What roped me in to downloading this game was the home decor aspect. As a huge fan of interior design, this seemed like the perfect game for me. I got to play fun levels, but also simultaneously get to decorate a home. However, after spending months on this game, and completing 240 levels, I've only just now unlocked the 3rd room. If you can even call it that. It goes living room, kitchen, and then garden? Why!? There are TONS of rooms in this house, and after TWO HUNDRED AND FOURTY levels, I'm decorating a garden while so much of the house is untouched. Don't even get me started on the baking storyline. 6 stars just to bake the cake base. Another 3 to bake the house cake. Another 3 to frost it. Another 3 to put it together. Then 2 to drive it to the studio. Then 2 to celebrate the win. Then another 2 to open a present for winning... it doesn't stop! I didn't download the game to bake a cake. I downloaded it to furnish a house! Stop with that nonsense. It took WEEKS to get through that ridiculous storyline. I hope the developers listen to this criticism, because it's really really turning me off to an otherwise fantastic game.

Character flaws. I agree w/Luis905..”umm one big issue”. The levels are hard, but they want you to continuously spend money on coins etc.. to try to win or put in an ad about other versions of this game. It gets frustrating and you want to put the game down and never return. Let’s say you’re rewarded with an hour or more of free play, it ticks down from that minute instead of letting you go in and play on your own schedule and let it tick down. Some of us work for a living and may play during our lunch or break, if you activate the free time, it is ticking down and over when you are off work and can play. The creators want you to acquire other versions/themes of the game.. if they’re like this one.. no way I’d get them. Funny that in the garden today while sweeping the butler says how he like to keep the dust out of the carpets there and keeps a clean house ( same thing he says in the house.. you should change the text to match the scenes) the guitar is in the house, but it magically appeared for him to sit on a bench and play it while chastising me about how hard the game must be for me to play. when you lose each life, the look on characters face is like you’re a failure... this doesn’t encourage you to play, you want to avoid that look like the plague. At times it’s disheartening. I will still play, but you lose interest in the story line due to frustration of game levels

Kind of disappointing... Hey there, first let me say that the game is beautifully designed and has so much potential. When I first downloaded this game I was glued to my phone and obsessed immediately, and then I hit level 24. I’ve watched videos of people completing these levels in the past and they had over 20 moves for the same level. And now it’s only 10?? I understand and was fully expecting that once you get to a certain point in the game levels will get pretty difficult since I know this game has been around for awhile, but level 24?!?! I haven’t even made it out of the first room!! You have to play a perfect game to be able to beat the level and it took me several heart refills as I kept failing. You basically have no choice but to either take your time on this level (which could last several days) or to buy a pack of coins to continue playing. As someone who generally does spend on in-app purchases, it’s frustrating when you feel as if you are basically forced to do so, and in turn, makes me want to delete the app. I really don’t want to do this as I said this game is really entertaining and a ton is fun, but I refuse to spend a small fortune to be able to play a game on my phone. I would love to be able to continue playing, and you have PLENTY of levels to keep people playing without forcing them into purchases. Please consider making some changes.

STAY FAR AWAY, this game cheats. And even if you have a screenshot proving the glitch that cheated you, they’ll disregard it and screw you out of play and money. Background: Been playing this game (and spending $$$ on it) for years, but when a level (7214) had a glitch — cheating me out of extra-play coins, taking away bonus tools — I took a screenshot that CLEARLY shows their mistake and sent it to them, and they’re totally fine with screwing me over. (For players familiar with the game: all the suitcases for hats had been opened, all the hats on the board were gone (collected, eradicated, whatever), but it said I needed to destroy ONE more hat. There was NO hat visible, but I tried anyway— exploded numerous planes, bombs and missiles that would have clearly taken care of it. No dice. That was my last move, so I spent 900 coins to try again, even though no hat was left to get. Exploded as many planes, bombs, etc., but no dice. I realized it was a glitch, I wasn’t going to preserve my bonus tools and it had just sucked up my money. You cannot capture a hat that doesn’t exist and is NOT going to materialize, since there were no more suitcases to open.) I went through the multi-step process of contacting support, sent a screenshot proving the glitch, waited more than a day for a response and just got a notification “well, another hat might have materialized, too bad for you.” Clearly the agent doesn’t know how the game is played, and it just CHEATED ME out of play and money.

Very Fun; Very Frustrating. Okay, so I started playing this game and love the concept— it’s fun, addicting, and keeps you wanting more. And THEN, once you’re hooked, the levels are so hard it will boggle your mind. Now, I love a challenge...but...this is stupid. Sometimes you get a half hour or so of unlimited lives, but mostly you’re stuck with 5. Each time you fail to complete a level, you lose a life and it takes (not 100% sure on this) at least 20 minutes, possibly 30, to get another one. You can ask your team for lives after an allotted amount of time, but you’re pretty much going to wait and wait. And boy have I! I am not lying when I say I spent three days and 60+ lives to finish level 163. The worst part is that to makeover your mansion, you have to collect stars. One star per level completed...soooo...I haven’t been able to move forward on the game for that long in any capacity. I finally, FINALLY, beat level 163, beat a couple more...and then hit another one that is very nearly impossible. I only had two lives left from level 163. So I burnt those pretty quick and I’m uninstalling the game. If your levels are going to be this hard, give us more power ups. Best Fiends, for instance, is really hard sometimes—but they also offer a lot of opportunities for infinite energy for X amount of time. I’m going back to that one! Boooo!

Cash grab. I downloaded this game as a joke thinking I’d delete it after the first couple levels....... then promptly played all the way up to lvl 50 in only one day. I’m perfectly obsessed with the game. The story is interesting, the rewards are gratifying, and rather than putting an ad wall in the players face every level, the game company sneak ads of their other games into the game play (that part specifically is very cool to me). All the levels before level 50 weren’t too challenging, but lvl 50 is in a whole other ball park. It is basically impossible without getting lucky. It’s not a strategy issue, it’s purposefully crippling the player by limiting the number of moves they have to a ridiculous level, and giving them a tiny 6x6 space to play the level. It’s very obvious that level 50 is made to be difficult to force players to spend out if pocket money on the boosters to progress the game but I’ll be taking no part in it. There’s no point in spending 2-15 dollars to solve this problem now, only to meet it later on down the road. It’s a cycle with this game. They draw you in with fun levels and interesting story and new sections of the mansion to decorate, and then trap you with basically a pay wall and force you to spend more money. This problem can only be fixed with real world cash and I am unwilling to pay it, but if you are then be my guest because the game is- at the very least- fun to play.

THIS GAME IS AWESOME!!!🤩. I got a new iPad for Christmas and I decided to download Homescapes because my mom literally loves this game so much and her level is literally in the thousands so I downloaded Homescapes and I will never regret it. It’s an awesome game and I’m a little addicted to it but it’s just amazing I have HD and usually I get off a game right away but with Homescapes I don’t it’s it’s awesome, you should definitely download this game. It’s just awesome. It’s so entertaining and fun I don’t even know what to say about it because it’s just so awesome but there are a few things I would like to say is that I would like to for Homescapes to have like less coins to have to be spent to do like five more, five more moves for 900 coins. I would like it to be like well like 300 some more people can have it because today I actually had gotten on a level that was really hard. I’ve been working on it for like an hour or so and I was one move off and I only had 500 coins and I can’t pay money for it so yeah I that’s the only thing I would like to say about it that I have like not positive review about but everything else I am loving it’s just so awesome I love interior design looks like my jam so you guys should definitely download this game and yeah just love it

Rewards aren’t sufficient. I have played many, and I mean MANY, games such as this one in my lifetime. I find them to be fun and even addicting. Although the concept of the game is great, and I’ve only been playing for a short while, something needs to be improved with the coin/lives system. Getting around 50 coins per mini-game, which can take multiple lives to complete, isn’t sufficient enough. In order to buy a life, 900 coins, you would have to play around 18 rounds just to get enough coins for ONE life. I do not pay money on games, never have never will, but it’s so frustrating that you may have one move left and instead of paying real cash, not in game coins, you have to wait for a life to replenish just to try and fail at the level again. Each round can take 10+ lives to complete, and it takes quite awhile for the lives to replenish. There should be some kind of reward opportunity other than completing a day, especially because you need to play the mini-games to get stars, in order to complete tasks, to complete the day. That’s a lot of tasks to do with not a lot of lives/coin rewards!!! If there were events where you can play other mini-games to gain rewards/treasures I think it would be more efficient. I also think 28 minutes is a long time to wait for one single life. I don’t want to give up on this game with not a lot of time put into it already, but if there is no improvement, I might have to.

So sick of the tournament of champions. I have been playing this game for pretty much since it was released, and I do enjoy the game itself, but it’s gotten so much worse the past couple years. The biggest issues I have; for the past couple years I have been at the point of beating all the levels and when you run out of new levels they put you in the tournament of champions, which is just replaying the worst/hardest levels of the game. It makes the game boring, unenjoyable and frustrating, and you can’t progress in any of the other aspects of the game making it feel pointless to play. I know it’s work to make new levels, and I understand that I can’t expect unlimited levels, but it would be nice if there was a different alternative because I am SO sick of playing the tournament 75% of my gameplay time. The game is not enjoyable when I get one or two days of real game play every week and then I’m back in the tournament for a few days. Also, they clearly designed it to not let you win some levels until you’ve played them for a while. And one of my biggest issues is they have gotten so greedy the last couple years; doubled the price of the season pass and shortened it by ten days, lowered the amount of free play you get from boosts, don’t line up the season pass with the monthly events. I used to buy the season pass every month but now I refuse to spend the money on it. I don’t enjoy playing as much as I used to, and am deleting the app.

Love the game but..... I've been playing the game about 3-4 years now because I really enjoy the satisfaction I get from completing a level and remodeling the homes. Much better version than candy crush. I'm almost 10,000 levels in and I'm really starting to notice how some of the gameplay is set up for me to lose the level rather than win. I could have a few tasks left to complete and even if I have the right combination or right amount of boosters (for example: combining a rainbow ball with the double planes) to hit/and or clear whatever i need to finish the level, it will hit the same target with a plane twice rather than another target I need to clear as well. Also lets say I have to clear the juice machines, (which you have to hit 3 times before it collects) the double planes will hit a juice machine twice but yet only count for one hit when one of those planes could have just hit a different one in the process or atleast count for 2 hits at once so there's no waste. I don't mind spending money on the game but I should not have to do that just in order to win. Funny how the game actually wants to help you a little more by clearing things with the first example I used or putting you in position to do it yourself once you do buy some more boosters or coins. Seems very money hungry rigged at times, yet the game is so addicting. Wow.

Love the game, but…. I love this game, but the star system is truly my biggest gripe. For every level we win we get one star and if we beat those special levels we get three, but when we go to do a task they take away more than one for each task. Back in the early levels of the game the star system was more even as far as give and take, and as I’ve played on and reached high levels I noticed that it’s grossly uneven the higher you get and the more levels you win. You still get one star for every level you win and three for ever special level, but now it takes four stars just to place one row of chairs and another four stars for the second row and so forth and so on. Why does it take so many stars to do only half a task now? I get that the levels are more advanced but why isn’t the star giving system? Why can’t we get one star for every normal level, two for every hard, three for every super hard and special level? It would make it more even at least a little bit imo. I’m tired of having to depend on getting the three hours of infinite lives just to hear enough levels to be able to do a days worth of tasks for a room. It would be nice to have some breathing room on that front of this game. Anyway, great game just hope it’s something the developers think about changing in a future update.

Developers, PLEASE read this.. This game is fun, engaging, and challenging! Not to mention it doesn’t have any ad’s (THANK YOU!!). However, sometimes the levels can get TOO challenging. I’m currently on level 60 and it’s near impossible. I’ve been on it for a couple of days now and I just can’t get past it. They only give you about 12 moves to get so much stuff, and it’s not even worth it. I’m not sure if this is a marketing strategy, but it’s a crappy one. I swear the creators don’t even try to do the levels themselves, because if they did they would be able to see that there is no way to get past the level without paying for anything. There should be some sort of “skip” level or something similar so that you aren’t stuck on the same level for weeks on end. Especially since the game won’t go on if you don’t complete these levels. I always end up deleting the game because of this. I mean isn’t the whole point to decorate? Speaking of decorating, there should be more options. To be honest, I don’t ever really like the choices I have for decorating and I’m always just settling for something I don’t like. I just wish there was more variety, and i’m sure some other people feel the same. So overall, the game can be fun, but Please fix these “impossible” levels. This problem makes me very irritated, and i’ve seen almost all the reviews complaining about this same problem.

Love the game but..... I am at level 498 and I love the game. But when you have 10 more moves left and you win the level you are lucky to win 58 coins?!?! And you just better break out your dollars because some levels you will be killing yourselves to win. Like 498 level I am not going to spend anymore money on this game. And the few moves it gives you to play and the purple blocks that has the bugs in them good luck they get much harder in higher up levels. This level it has the regular white blocks that grow but the purple ones you have to kit them 2 to 3 times and they grow back just one to two moves after you remove another side. To get extra coins for more lives or boosters it is a lot of money for what little you get. 900 coins you get 3 this. And 1900 coins you get 3 globes. The lives run out so fast and sometimes my friends send me lives I see them and play one game go back to collect the life because it won’t allow you to have 6 life’s and it is missing. I am in the room right at the stairs I forget what it is called. Looks like another living room to me. The outside green house it felt like it took years to finish the plot line. I wish you could request the boosters but place them where you want them if you want them in the game. Like they would be added to your side menu but not dropped down in the puzzle because it places them and there would be a awesome move but the boosters messed it up and you only can use the boosters there is no other move.

Long time player...... I love this game, have been playing it for quite some time. It’s my “go to” favorite. I’m somewhere around level 1100 or close to it. Some levels are hard to the point that it gets ridiculous. Some of the hard levels are easy or perhaps it’s just luck to win them. I have spent days on a level and get frustrated and then dont play for a while...but i still really enjoy this game. You CAN win every level with out a power up. You DO NOT need to spend any money on this game, patience is a virtue (so they say). I have spent money and lately I haven’t. The one thing i do agree with most reviewers on is this... to buy a power up costs wayyy too much money for the amount of coins you receive for passing a level. To continue a game (at 900 coins) for a move or two costs a fortune considering you really don’t win much. To buy three hammers costs too much (1900 coins). I realize they do want you to spend money and i have but even when you spend, it doesn’t give you much in return. I mostly just wanted to let people know you don’t have to spend money to win this game...and yes, some of the tasks are eye rolling but....its still a fun game. Even if you don’t feel like playing, you can still receive a daily reward for logging on.

Fun Game, Too Hard. I really have enjoyed playing this game. The graphics are great and I enjoy the little tasks I get to complete with stars. However, more than half of the levels are just too difficult to pass on your first or second try without using boosters or paying for additional moves. I’ve poured far too much money into a game that is an app on my phone. I feel guilty and sick each time I do it, as I know I shouldn’t, but I really do enjoy the game. That being said, I truly do think the game developers have made many levels close to impossible to pass. At this point it’s not an issue of game strategy or attempts, but that winning or not winning just seems to come at chance. This game is a gamble, and if you get into it enough, you will begin to pay for the gambles. “Maybe I’ll win this time” “I just need one more move to pass this level” “I have to beat this to get the staircase installed.” I have no idea why I still play this game as it’s cost me so much and I’ve truly gotten so little benefits from my purchases. I’m writing this solely so others like me can read this before deciding to download. The game developers will not change the difficulty of the game, so I hope they don’t waste their time asking me to reach out to someone. They’re making a profit. At a game that’s too tempting not to.

Love this game but…. I read some reviews and I have the same complaint as many others… I understand that the game needs to get harder as you go, but I lose interest when it takes days (literally) to beat a level. I’m going to call the rainbow ball, bombs, paper airplanes, etc. “cheats” here. Even if I use all of my cheats AND use coins to play on, it’s unbeatable. Most of the time it is pure luck that you beat these levels. Just when you are ready to pack it in and quit, you get lucky. Also, there are levels that start out with only a few pieces on the board, so using cheats doesn’t even help. There has to be a way to make this game challenging without forcing players to quit playing. I have lost many teammates, who quit, because they are stuck and frustrated. My team is down from 28 players to 8 now. Team “America” is looking for players! I hope something changes to keep us all interested. Maybe a new start after a certain level? An end to the game without losing your decorations and cheats, then onto a sequel? A new cheat that clears the board, or something to skip a level? Give us more moves for the harder levels? The game plays the level for you after adding a new booster? There has to be something. I don’t know, but something needs to change. Eventually no one will continue to play, when they get stuck and can’t move on. Why create a game that forces players to quit? Just my point of view. Thank you for reading!

Hello! Developers Please Read. Dear Developers, I love home scapes, I love decorating my house, I enjoy beating puzzle. I’m happy there’s no ads, So you might be wondering why I only gave you 4 stars. This is not a cheap game. At the beginning, yeah, I could play without spending a penny. But now, I have to pay to Get rewards during the season, Or spend my coins on extra lives. I was super Exited to get the new pet, Pepper, So I finished a ton of levels, So I went to collect my prizes, And realized I couldn’t even get Pepper without paying. I was heart broken, And did not open Homescapes for a day. I still love Homescapes, So I had opened my app up, and I was ready to re design my house. I was stumped on this one level, I spent almost all my coins, used all my life’s, and I was stuck. I finally finish this “ easy “ level, and for some reason don’t get a star. And don’t just tell me you’ll tell the devs about a problem that never gets fixed. I’ve now been stuck on this one level for almost a week. With no way to get boosters by completing a level, if I’m stuck on one. So I am stuck on a level, with no way to complete, hence no way to continue the game. Everyday I check on that level, but everyday I fail. This game is no longer fun. Please fix your game to make it cheap, and make it playable. And don’t tell me every level is beatable, or to contact the support team. I hope you think about this problem

Addictive but could use some work. This game is addictive as all get out and I love it! However, I think the game would been benefit from having less difficult levels, or decreasing the difficulty in the very hard and hard levels. It’s possible to beat these levels without any power ups and coins, but that’s only if you’ve been dealt a good puzzle. I know a few people that loved the game but stopped playing because of the difficulty of some levels. I have even myself taken long breaks from the game for this reason. Also, sometimes just to call someone, it can take up to 2 or 3 stars just to do this. I believe the game should be a little more rewarding with lives, stars and power ups if just calling someone takes up to three stars(three games). And if this isn’t possible, there should be better rewards for completing levels, helping teammates, and/or just in general (hand out power ups). I think the game would be extremely successful if it were a little easier or if you could change which difficulty you would like to play as. I think the developers are more focused on making the game like the ads we see and less like keeping and improving what is already good about the game. Hopefully some of these issues are dealt with so mine and many other players I know experiences while playing the game are improved. All that said, it’s a great game that gets you sucked in, but just needs a few tweaks here and there.

LOVE THIS GAME!!!!!!. I love this game so much I can’t even put it I to words. It’s fun and light hearted for the most part and I enjoy most of the levels and it’s like designing my own house without the actually expensive designing of a house. But also I have some suggestions I would like to make. I think it would be helpful if we had a button in the games (like the hammer, sledge hammer and glove) that reshuffled our pieces because sometimes you waste a whole level because all of the moves were goofy little three piece matches at the top or something and you get no where with that. So if there was a little shuffle button, having already set “restrictions” in place, that it would be very beneficial to not only beating levels but also building value to your game. I can’t think of any other games that I have that include this special kind of feature and I think it would be a really cool addition to this already pretty amazing game. Or a back up one move button because since the new update of only having to hit the special moves once I often accidentally tap one or do a move I didn’t want and if there was like a little undo or back up one move that that would benefit the levels. I’ll probably come up with something more to say but this is all I have to say for now. Again I really love this game, very smart design and I love the characters. Thank you for reading this (if you do lol)

Great game! Needs a little work. Homescapes was one of the first games I downloaded, and I really like it, but the first thing I think I would change is it takes way too many points to get extra moves, and when you get into some harder levels, you sometimes need those extra points. So I think what I would do is make it more like 100 or 200 points that you would need to spend to get more moves. I really like the extra events they’re really fun to do. But I would say that some of the levels get pretty hard and that maybe it would be better to have like a hint at the bottom, like if you needed help, you could just press hint, and it would give you a hint. I also think that something you could change is being able to choose the difficulty of the level like if your brain is having like a hard time waking up then maybe you could like choose easier difficulty they could all still be difficult, but it might work better if you could choose the difficulty. But if you’re reading this review to see if you would like to get this game, I’d say that it’s an awesome game and you should definitely get it but if you are a developer, those are the changes I would make! I hope this review is very helpful for you and I think that if we got these changes made Homescapes would be a very very fun game to play witch it already is but we can definitely make it better!!!

2 Cons. I have had this game for 3 years now and I am enjoying it very much. But there is two problems My first problem is that you beat levels to get stars right? Well in the beginning you only need 1 star to do a task. Well as you get up higher you need more stars per task. So if I want to let’s say, put up a statue it would take 3 stars to do so; that means beat 3 levels. And that is something that I am not a fan of. There is one other con. In Homescapes, there is ALWAYS some sort of event going on, like the things where you get points per level, and rewards once you reach a certain point. Sound fun, right? Well once in a while it is fun, but when there is constantly a 30-day long event, and you just can’t get a break, it gets annoying. If you are reading this, and you work on the Homescapes team, please make a change because I hate this and it is something that bugs me so much and I would love it if there was just 1 month where there was no event going on. That is why I stopped playing Matchingtown Mansion, and it might be why I delete Homescapes in the future. But other than that is is a super fun game, there are limited bugs and I enjoy the mini-games (separate from the events) I play it every day!

Love! But needs some adjustments!. I absolutely love this game! It’s fun, challenging, amazing story lines, and cool ideas for decorating! I have been reading through the reviews and see a common complaint.... some levels are way too hard to earn so very little. I have stopped playing this and garden scapes out of frustration from time to time...yet I always go back! I spent 4 or 5 days on the same level on Homescapes and well over a week now on Gardenscapes level and it’s very discouraging. I have heard of people getting charged for additional things they don’t even purchase in games before..so I avoid making purchases at all costs.(***not in this specific game**) So it’s extremely discouraging when I spend so much time and get no where. That’s legit my only complaint. It’s not bad enough where I want to delete the games-because if you keep at it, EVENTUALLY you will beat it! Then it seems the next few levels are super easy then you hit one of the hard ones that takes days to beat. BUT the idea of the game, I think, is Genius! I DO love the little challenges and add on competitions you incorporate into the games, like the rockstar thing with Austin and all that! I wish we had more options for boosters, although I will say from time to time you add in the spin wheel u get to spin daily for boosters ! Overall it’s a great game - just challenging from time to time! Great to play during quarantine and needing an escape from reality for a little🤷‍♀️

Great game! But I want to say… (devs please read this)(P.S this is a bit long 😅). I love this game! But first off I want to say why I gave this game 4 stars instead of 5. my first problem with the game is the ads for this game, the ads for this game is the whole reason I downloaded it. I’m not gonna say the ads are lying because they do come every 20 levels (I think) but anyway back to the ads when people watch an add for an game that’s what they wanna play, they don’t want to play something else they didn’t know about and only play what they downloaded it for barely at all! Another thing about this is about the events in this game… see I have absolutely no problems with the actual events but most of the events have like only 2 OR 1 DAY TO FINISH IT!!!! To me that is un fair some of them have an decent time limit like 20 days but the others are WAY TO SHORT… kids also have school u know, and even if they didn’t it’s not like they could spend there whole day trying to finish an event because it’s leaving in an few hours! The last problem I have is the lives… YOU ONLY GET 5 LIVES, THEN HOW WOULD YOU COMPLETE THE REALLY HARD LEVELS… because when you get to the hard levels in the first place you probably don’t even have all five lives! And this complaint is only for when you don’t have unlimited lives. That’s all I can do for now because I don’t have anymore room. I hope this is helpful to new users and devs I hope that you can fix these things!

Terrible support team. The game is decent. It’s fun and can be a little addicting. The story lines are cute as well. Some of the story items cost way too much compared other games and honestly nothing should cost more than 2 stars, let alone stuff that costs 6. That’s ridiculous and no other game does it. Speaking of... so when you have to clear 6 game boards to complete a story line task, every one counts, and often you may use a booster for that last piece with your last move. Only on occasion, when the board is NOT MOVING, an airplane will go take out some random piece that has nothing to do with advancing the game. You lose a life, and they start to back you into a corner where you need to use coins. It’s cheating. I contacted Support and their response? Lol “The way the game works.....” sooooo, i understand how the game works, I’m close to level 3,000.... not what I stated the issue is. They never addressed the issue and simply kept saying that I don’t know how to play. They slid me a couple of boosters to “lightening my day”, whatever that is, and even said at that time “this wasn’t our fault but here are a couple of boosters to lightening you day”. Extremely frustrating that they didn’t even acknowledge a possible issue.... not even a “let us look into it”. Whatever.... I still play but I refuse to buy coins. I will maintain the free version and spend my money elsewhere. ✌🏼

Fun game but needs to learn from Wildscapes coders. It is a fun game but the flying planes are not responsive to changes in item positions. In Wildscapes, I’m very impressed by the spinning tops as they hit items with accuracy and timeliness. If the target items change position, the tops make a turn and chase after these items to remove them. The planes in Homescapes only retain previous position memory and hence end up removing items that are in that position instead of the items themselves. It is frustrating at times as the level could have been cleared if the plane had chased after the item with accuracy like the spinning tops in Wildscapes. Players will understand what I’m saying if they play these two games. Looks to be the same company for these two games so maybe the coders of Homescapes can learn from that of Wildscapes’!

Great game but levels get too hard. I have just started this game and is at the kitchen, although I have not been able to make any further progress because the levels are way too hard for level 50. There are barley any moves in the levels past 40 and it costs too much to continue, especially if you have barley any coins because you haven’t been able to complete levels. I know this is a marketing strategy but actually make this game functional for people who aren’t the best at puzzles. So please add around 10 more moves to the levels or just make them less complex. I get that they’re supposed to be hard but it is getting to the point where it’s been days around 5 and I haven’t made any progress. Fix this and you’re game would be amazing.

Great game that keeps on giving. I’ve been playing this game for years now. I love the story that goes along with it. It’s the most enjoyable of this type of game that I’ve come across. I see ads for it and it looks pretty bad but I’m glad I gave it a try because the game is way way better than the ads. In some instances it’s completely different. In reality it’s a match and line them up kind of game from which you earn points and then use those points to make something happen as you follow along with a cute story line. You can also just interact with the characters by taping them and they will have dialogue with you. I have chosen to spend a little money here and there but to be honest don’t mind supporting the makers of a game I have spent hours and hours playing. Highly recommend.

Has some good aspects but . . .. I started playing for the interest in rebuilding the home. However it quickly became evident that this wasn’t going to happen any time soon. 1 star per task seemed reasonable but then it became 2 stars per task then some are 3. And some tasks are divided into 4 x 2 stars to complete: it takes the fun out of the whole goal of the game. And I now find that I’m playing the level games for satisfaction gained in completing each level and I’m not interested in how much there is to do in each room. And while we’re on that rant, why does cost 2 stars just roll over from one day to the next? The cost of continuing turns in a level is rather excessive. 900 coins for 5 turns then 1200 coins then . . . I forget what ripoff amount is next because I don’t play it. I know the developers/owners of the app want to make money but the increase should be linear, not exponential. Yes, I know that I don’t have to play but a fairer balance of cost per achievement might see me play a it longer and spend a bit more.

A great game, but not what is advertised. I have been a fan of Homescapes and Gardenscapes for many years. I love the gameplay, and I love the storyline, I even like the level difficulty. It is very much worth the download! But something I have seen that’s becoming really disappointing is the misleading advertising on both of these games. Both games are advertised using entirely different game plays that are not at all featured in the games. Further more, the most recent update has changed the app icon to reflect the false gameplay in the advertising, rather than the gameplay in the actual game. It is becoming very clear that this company is very committed into misleading you for a download, which is very sad, as like I mentioned earlier the game is a great game on its own. In future, I would love to see accurate advertising and the company to have more faith in their gameplay, as I think this would result in more people playing the app rather than downloading and being disappointed.

Okay game. Game is alright to play, however some things are a bit unreasonable: • the game has a jump in difficulty in the beginning, instead of gradually getting harder. Because it is so hard, passing the levels in mainly reliant on luck and playing levels over and over until you get lucky. • to renovate the house, each action requires a star or several stars. The problem here is that the actions cost way too many stars, or a broken down in a way that means in total it costs too many stars, especially considering how hard the levels are and how hard it is to earn them. For example, it often costs 2 stars to tile/floor half a room and another two stars to do the other half, or simple actions, such as answering the door costs 2-3 stars. This many the game unenjoyable since half the fun is renovating the house. Really, it should cost 1 star to do each action and flooring the room should not be split (I.e. 1-2 stars to floor or wallpaper the entire room, not half). • the money system is a bit unbalanced - you only earn 50 coins per level (100 on the difficult ones) yet it costs 900 to buy more lives or buy 5 extra moves.

Money hungry bubble burst match game. Everything in this game has a cost. I’m all for developers making money on their time and efforts. However, I believe there is a line as to how much a game pushes the pay to play practice and this game goes beyond it. This game is designed to get you to spots where you need to purchase something more to consistently progress. The home challenge games (that they heavily feature in promotion of this game) are a very small portion of the activities. This game is primarily a bubble burst style match game with a storyline designed to get you to burst more bubbles and pay more to play. And I’m saying all of this as a player who has purchased golden tickets and other aspects of this game and played this game for a number of months. Time and experience have shown me that this game is (& likely always will be) primarily a money hungry bubble burst match game through and through.

Great but too many side trips. This is my 3rd review and it’s gone up yet another star. 5 bc it’s my fave game, my daily go to. Can’t believe it has kept my attention for so long. I love playing it, love the characters and love fixing the house snd garden (although it always goes a bit too far!) here’s my older reviews FYI: I left this review a while ago with a 3 “Love playing it but I hate having to replay a game over just to feed a parrot or cat or start a new day. I just want to fix the house. Need more lives and less levels just for no advance in the game ie fixing the house. Love the characters and visuals but let’s get focused!” Since then things have improved. They really listened! But I have been in the garden ages now. It looks awesome but I want to get in the house. I would like to be able to direct the order I fix the house in... still, it’s gone up a star in my estimation and it’s my fave game atm... loving it.

Game is really fun however…. I really loved this game at the start, I’ve been playing it for yearsss, the levels are so entraining, some more difficult than others. They have so many events available too, with different mini games throughout each season. The story line is fun as well. Being able to design areas is what a I mostly enjoy, I love being able to decorate and having the houses look like how I want it to look, however once you get up to the next house ( the cabin one) it gets less customisable. You hardly have any choice when it comes to designing the area anymore, it’s just automatically chosen for you. I would love if they continued the ability of being able to choose your own aesthetic instead of it being given to you.

Super Hard levels too frequent & costly. I have mostly enjoyed this game, but as I’ve got to higher levels (I’m on 861 now), I’ve found that the Hard and Super Hard levels have become far too frequent, and they’re virtually impossible to get past without spending money. It’s such a relief to get past them (the normal levels are challenging enough!), but I’m finding that I’m lucky to get two or three normal levels before being hit with the next Hard and then Super Hard level. My heart sinks when I see them, and I just have to give the game a break for awhile, as I know it’s likely to take me a couple of days to get through that level, at least. It’s getting to the point that I can no longer afford to play this game, and even though I’ve got 10 days left on my golden ticket, I don’t know if it’s worth it to keep going that long! 😟

Homescapes. I love this game and play it far too much but it is frustrating that there are no incentives or daily rewards to help you get through the difficult levels. I’ve been stuck in the kitchen forever and can not continue because I have been stuck on level 183 for nearly a week. The only way I can see to get through this level is to purchase items to assist and then keep extending the game by purchasing more moves when you run out. I’ve spent a ridiculous amount of money on this game and am unable to spend anymore. Although I love the game so much, I am becoming far too frustrated about not being able to complete the level without spending money. Every other game I play has daily loyalty rewards and special events which enable you to win random prizes or money amounts. If you add these things in that game would be 5 stars and I’d never be able to put my phone down. I’d even be willing to continue to pay money for items but without the game giving anything back on a daily basis I refuse to do this. Sorry to say but I’m becoming one very bored and frustrated player and can not see me continuing with this game for much longer

Ok, but levels are to hard. Homescapes s a very fun game. I love idea of fixing this old mansion as I love decorating and designing, but I’m stuck on level 24 and I have had this game for over a year now. On the first few levels you would be expecting them to be a bit easy, but in my case and many others it’s not. If you’re not able to complete a level how are you supposed to get stars? This brings me to my next case stars. When you go and finish a level you get one star but when you go to use them you end up having to use 2 to about 3 and that to me is pretty hard as I can not complete “easy” levels. Maybe if on harder levels you could get a bonus star or just make the tasks worth 1-2 depending on what it is. I’m not saying that the game should be made ten times easier, I’m just saying that it is frustrating being stuck on levels and not being able to get stars really fast and that i think it should be made a tad bit easier.

I rate 7/10 😭. I really like this app but it’s super annoying how you have to download new places. And I am up to upstairs and it took me two minutes to download and most of the time it was stuck on %38 and %82! And also why do you make super hard levels? Hard levels are ok but most people hate Superhard. But mostly can you plz fix the stars. Like get the parrot back in it’s cage??? Call a cab for Austin’s parents? That wastes all the hard work on stars plz also try for people to get 2 or 3 stars if they beat a hard or superhard level. It’s pointless if you get 22 moves and win it but get one star. And can you give more moves? In all playrix games. Once I had to get 34 red bow ties and it only gave me 15 moves and I was stuck Forever on it! My friend is up to lvl 364 and she wants to ask if u can also make more than 30 players in a team because most of them on Kitten Club that she is on never even tries and they are basically off 24/7. She asks for 40-45 in a team. And she wants it to be only people who are actually on most of their life like her. lol 😇😇. Plz fix 🤩

Perfect Game!. In this game you assist Austin (a butler) renovate a giant mansion for his parents, you do this by passing ‘connect 3’ levels’ and the occasional ‘mini-game’ which will give you a star, you then spend your precious stars on tasks. In you tasks you will often be deciding what furniture you want, you have 3 choices. The graphics are splendid, the sound effects and music are very tranquil and comforting when completing levels. You can tell Playrix have tried very, VERY hard on entertaining their loyal players. I think what people take for granted is that Playrix did so much coding and work just for people to totally ignore it and complain about other stuff like levels that are to difficult which I find are more fun that way. If you are reading this and questioning if you should download this wonderful game, I completely recommend, especially if you like a little bit of challenge and interior design. Thanks Playrix for all your hardwork and I’m sorry that you have been neglected so many times.

Game Has been Ruined by Cost Increases in game and purchases. I have played this game for a number of years and have really enjoyed it, in January 2024 the developers made some changes in which energy in features, purchases of boosters and actual purchases for additional items were all increased substantially, this has completely changed game play because you run out of everything so much faster that after 10-15 minutes of game play you either have to buy extra addons or wait 24 hours for everything to recharge to play more. For me I just wait now because I refuse To pay the excessive amounts the developers are now asking for additional addons, I am sure I am not the only one that is p***ed off with these changes and doing the same as me making the game far less enjoyable, or deleting the game completely because of the frustrating slowness caused in game play (Unless you are rich and can afford the addon packs) Come on Playrix, show your loyal base you are listening and drop the price gauging

Slow progress with little reward. The levels are ok.. but everything else is so annoying. You could spend 1 day maybe a week getting past a level depending on the time you dedicate to the app. The star you get for passing a level is valuable and you expect it some progress in the house reno. If the points stars were put to the Reno alone that would be one thing but instead it goes to silly things like ‘the next day’ and you waste a point watching the character go to bed and get up? Or you are a few hours getting 2 stars(levels) only to ‘receive a gift’ from your uncle and you have no choice but to accept and waste your points. And don’t get me started on all the blabbering among the characters that doesn’t always give you an option to skip...the list goes on. to sum it up- some levels are just too busy, your stars/points aren’t valuable enough for the effort you put in. Not a satisfying or rewarding game just frustrating!

Good, but needs more control. Highly addictive game, I have a love/hate relationship with it. I think some of the tasks cost unreasonable amounts of stars, and many of them are unnecessary. The bigger issue I think is the lack of control while playing the game and levels. For instance: if I were activating a plane, I would like to be able to determine which tile it destroys, it’s happened MANY times where I’ve got a move and if I had control over the plane, would be able to win, but didn’t, because I didn’t have the option. Some levels are just way too hard, but if you had the control you could win easier. Some levels have too many colours, so you end up wasting like 20 moves trying to get somewhere, and to no avail. Another thing is that I would have preferred to not add certain things to rooms, to not have joined into events, but I do understand why these things are a part of the game. (Level 625 atm if that makes any difference)

My thoughts on HS. Now just to let you know that by the current state it’s in, I would recommend it without a doubt... but it comes with a risk. The storyline how your with these characters and how you connect with then is fantastic, it feels new and fresh, and it’s amazing. Now with the gameplay, it’s basically every other puzzle game so that’s fine. My main complaint is how difficult it is to pass through days though the sometimes CRAZY objectives to get stars in levels. I’m not that far in the game and it’s frustrating that your wasting your time and in-game currency (money) and time to get lives towards being how difficult these levels are, it’s mind boggling. Personally devs, this game is a blast, however you need to tweek the difficulty setting because that the reason why: 1) This is just off receiving 5 star rating 2) To give the player the full Homescapes experience, instead having to waste real life money for lives and power ups to pass through levels and the story itself. This game is nearly at its full potential. However with a couple of mistakes that can be easily cleared, this game won’t be a hassle to complete for everyone and will be a better experience for new players. Cheers for reading :)

so annoying!!!. at the start i really liked the game...i still do but i think it lost its purpose. i got the app because of an advertisement on another game, but it was so misleading. the homescapes ad on the other game, showed someone choosing choices when a tap in the bathroom started leaking. when i downloaded it i thought it would be a choices game, but no...it was just when of those boring match 3 games, like candy crush. SO TOTALLY CLICKBAIT!!! i started to play it and really got addicted because it was fun...but the levels quickly got hard. level 12 was really hard and it took me many tries to beat it. in the game you get one star on completing a level and it goes toward renovating the house. but it’s so annoying as you only get one star on the regular, hard and super hard levels and sometimes it takes 2-3 stars to do the simplest tasks. and sometime you use stars to do the stupidest things like feed the parrot and clean up the cats mess and put the parrot back in it’s cage??and you also have to spend stars on doing chores for the butlers parents, like i’m sorry but the parents don’t do anything for me. you have to spend a star on calling the cab for them, but seriously can’t they just call the cab themselves???and not use my precious stars that i worked oh so hard on grtting???. i don’t want to use the stars that i worked very hard for to feed the parrot. overall, do not get this game, candy crush is better.

Great game but could use some improvement. I love this game and the idea of game! Although there are some unnecessary tasks, the whole cooking show skit isn't needed. I understand you're trying to create a story but maybe make it optional? Earning stars isn't easy, some of those levels are very hard! So i'd rather use my stars on decorating the rooms and expanding to different areas but now I have to use them to bake a cake? Also I think smaller tasks like calling someone or greeting a guest or starting a new day etc should only cost 1 star! I love that we get daily bonuses and all the power ups without them I wouldn't have been able to pass the harder levels. I have been on the kitchen for so long and now I have to do the cooking show I just want to move onto the rest of the house! I love the game it's very addictive but I think some of the tasks need to be re-thought

I miss the old Homescapes. Honestly, Homescapes is a great game. You help a butler, (Austin) renovate his home to try and convince his parents to not move out. You play a matching game to earn “stars” so you can complete renovating tasks. This was great. I used to play everyday. But then, they made misleading ads about mini-games. People starting to get interested (I quite enjoyed the game as it was). The ads, however, were nothing like the game. People started to get angry, so HomeScapes changed the game. Now literally every second level there’s a mini game which is really easy and barely gives you a challenge. Although there’s a skip button, this shouldn’t be a main feature of the app. They could have a mini game tab at the top of the screen to earn coins, but I prefer playing it without these mini games that don’t make the game entertaining. People may have other opinions to me, but this game used to be 5 stars, and has quickly moved to 3 stars. If people enjoy the mini games so much, Homescapes, you should make an app specifically for mini games or use my advice earlier. Thank you. Please read this feedback and put it into place so I can make a better review. Have a good day.

Less frustrating. Would be less frustrating if the planes would hit appropriate targets rather than ones not doing anything. Obviously it’s possible to pass some levels without having to buy tokens. Spent a week trying to get past a level. Obviously for some levels it is almost impossible to get through without purchasing retries and weapons etc. You even get the privilege of getting reminded to buy special tools etc. some levels are relatively passable after many attempts with various strategies but disappointing some you virtually have to pay for or it drives you nuts after a week. I guess it’s user pays to varying degrees. Or maybe I need a photographic memory for previous strategies lol

I love this game. I’m addicted... Yes there are hard and super hard levels throughout the entire game not just in the beginning (which can be very frustrating, but I have learnt not to always do the suggested move but to do the illogical move instead), but yet if it wasn’t for them I would become bored and delete the game. To me Homescapes is a challenge and the reward is rebuilding/redecorating the home. I don’t like the 30mins between lives, mainly because I want to keep playing. Maybe add a couple of power ups as a gift (along with the coins we already get) for completing the hard/super hard levels could be a bit more of incentive for some people. Keep up the awesome work and keep the variety of difficulties flowing throughout the game, so we actually have to use our brains, our thought process and work out a different strategy for each level.... See ya, gotta go back and play as I just won 3hours of unlimited lives... WooHoo Bye 🥳🥳🥳🥳🥳

Lots of room for improvement. This is a simple yet super addictive game. I love being able to decorate your own house, however the further you get, it’s quite ridiculous how many ‘stars’ are required to complete one change (I.e. build bridge/whatever). Especially considering how hard it is to get pass some levels. Even USING all the power ups, some levels still take 10-20 times (I am on Level 496). I also like that there are little side stories/events, but HATE that they don’t give you a choice of when you want to use the ‘infinite lives’ power up. Sometimes I pop on to play for 10-15 minutes, pass a checkpoint and BAM it automatically uses the infinite lives for 5 hours power up that you got as a gift/prize. Well, thanks but no thanks! If I wanted to play for 5 hours, I would’ve made sure I had more than 10-15 mins spare! Extremely stupid function that still hasn’t been fixed/changed!

Run! Find a different game!. Every time I edit this review I find myself giving fewer stars. This used to be a great game, but now it’s just greedy. Greedy developers never seem to grasp the concept that happy gamers are far more likely to spend money, than disgruntled gamers who have been forced into a corner. I find I spend far more time playing other games like Merge Mansion and Merge Dragons nowadays. Homescapes still charges 900 coins for each thing but they have reduced the 50 coins for the easiest level down to 10 coins. If you skip at the end of a win, they don’t give you coins for the extra moves the games make. Even the easiest levels can take a few days to pass, once you get to the higher ranks. The free coins they give away in the mini games have been drastically reduced as well. The latest update has removed the option to restart a level - now when you restart they take your life and whatever booster you were using, even if you haven’t made a move. Basically they just take everything, and then expect you to spend real money on them, but the things they want you to spend real money on are incredibly expensive. If I asked each player to give me $1, I would be a rich person, so why do they need each player to give them massive amounts of money - they don’t even take the exchange rate into account. So, to anyone thinking about this game, just run to something else, more worthy of your time.

Gardenscapes vs Homescapes. Initially homescapes is rather cartoony compared to gardenscapes but once you play a few levels you get used to it. I like that homescapes uses different combos & while other compare to candy crush - match 3 games were around long before candy crush & this is just another enjoyable form. I like the fact that the storyline is more interactive than gardenscapes. I am over lvl 1000 in gardenscapes and you have to gather many star just to wait many hours for stairs etc to be built. I am current 170+ lvl in homescapes & while I'm starting to see more stars required it hasn't become a drag. The daily spin or bonus is missing which would be nice to be included. Overall a pretty enjoyable interactive story game with the ability to customise (via in game limited options) the decorations & make the home reflect closer to what you want.

Love the game, but......... Being stuck on a level for a week at a time gets pretty annoying!!!! I could see this being one of my favourite games. I am absolutely addicted to Gardenscapes, and once you get used to the slight differences in play with this one, it is fun. But the time it takes you to get through some of the levels is ridiculous!!! I do miss the daily spin that Gardenscapes has. Maybe if we had more access to bombs, etc it would make the game a little easier. I’ve been stuck in the kitchen now for a week, and on one level for about 3 days now. And a lot of the times you don’t even get close to finishing. Every 2-3 moves you run out of moves, the board resets... and it is like that for your whole 5 lives! $900 for 5 more moves is a lot, and I appreciate that you can watch ads to get money.... because sometimes getting the 5 extra moves... and then another 5 more is the only way to get through a level. I’m not asking for every level to be simple and easy... but a level to be achievable would be a bonus!!! I’ll give it a bit more time before I throw my hands up and surrender!

So frustrating. I play Gardenscapes and was really looking forward to a new version of the game in Homescapes. Originally, it started out well, very much like Gardenscapes but with some slight alterations. I’m now at level 170 and some of the levels are just impossible. I’m having to play the levels 30+ times to even get close to passing them and it is just frustrating. I’ve been stuck in the kitchen now for so long and am not able to progress any further because I can no longer get past the levels. Really really disappointing - it’s like you want us to purchase all of the power ups and extra moves possible to allow us to pass the levels which is unreasonable and just plain annoying. I’m happy to use a power up if I can see it will actually make a difference but in homescapes - it seems that they are just there to make you guys money. Would have given 5 stars if it wasn’t for that. So frustrating and disappointing.

Too many stars. I love this game. The story is somewhat interesting, the levels are nicely challenging, and the house looks pretty fantastic as you remodel. If I could improve a few things it would be even better. Firstly, a few more design options would be awesome. Sometimes all the choices are really ugly or just don’t match well (the kitchen wallpaper for example). Another game I play that’s similar, let’s you visit random houses of other players and, if they have an item you don’t, you can collect it for your own house. You can also friend these people to ask for lives, etc without having to connect your game to Facebook. Secondly, the number of stars required to complete items is ridiculous. When you start, there’s a variety of things that require different amounts of stars, eg 1 star might get you some tidying of rubbish but 2 stars will be enough for a new chair and three would be enough to rebuild a cabinet. But now, I’m lucky to get anything done for less than 3 or 4 stars! I just used three stars to unpack a tree, three stars to hang lights on the tree, four stars to hang a light curtain over the door, and now I need another four stars just to install a couple of speakers! With how hard the levels are getting, I’m lucky to get four stars without about ten hours of gameplay and I’m losing interest in the game.

Unsatisfied. I downloaded this game because of the mini games that require you to help the main character out of tricky situations. I was very annoyed at first that those games were rare and it was mostly a candy crush spin off. I stuck with it, enjoyed renovating the home, but then the mini game became far and few between, I’ve played about 20 levels and not one mini game. Top it off with the ‘hard’ and ‘super hard’ games cropping it more and more frequently and it seems to only occur when events are on which is frustrating because I can spend a whole day on one of these levels stuck and not be able to participate in the event, especially annoying when you pay for a ticket to be in the special events. And then it seems it wants you to pay more money to be able to move on from the super hard level, only to have 2 levels that are challenging but doable and then be stuck on another hard level. Not impressed at all.

Great game but has a few flaws. First off just wanted to say it’s such a fun game. Love all the little side tournaments and things that pop up. My only feedback would be that as the levels get harder the stars that we collect shouldn’t be for simple thing like lifting a sheet off a car. And that two it took me four stars or five if I can remember to just lift the tarp off the car. Also the cats tasks should not be included with the main game but as a side game to achieve tasks for the cat. Perhaps if the developers can just make it a bit easier. It’s demotivating to have to use about ten lives to receive one star and then the task is something simple like taking a nest and placing it on a tree or as I mentioned the thing about the tarp on the car. I shouldn’t have to work sooo hard to use five of my stars to do something so simple. Thanks !

So not worth it. I found this game through an ad on another game and I thought it was going to a multiple choice game but it was one of those candy crush like games. Like another user said, CLICKBAIT. I’ve been stuck on a super level for weeks. On other previous levels I paid like $5 in order to get more money in order to continue playing on a level, but it wasn’t worth it since it only gives me 5 more turns. And if you don’t get it in that many, it requires 1200 in game money for more. Are you serious? How do you expect people to play this game????? And if you want more money from the game, you earn all this money in a ‘vault’ which surprise surprise you have to pay real money for. Seriously, make the levels a little more easier and realistic to actually complete. This feels like a scam. You won’t be getting any more of my money!!!! Disappointed.

Fun but rigged. This game is fun mostly and quite challenging. However, I cannot help but feel that it is designed to keep you playing and more importantly purchasing items that will help with playing those hard levels. I find that when I’m stuck on a particular level, it will take me a few days of no success. Then all of a sudden it becomes easy as the bombs all appear at once. It’s as if the developers realise that we may get bored with the game so they help us out just to keep on playing. I sometimes feel that some levels are just impossible to play and require no skill. Nonetheless, I never spend money on the app and when my lives run out, I quit for at least the next few hours. It’s a good way of not getting stuck playing this all day and can get on with other things.

Improvement. Homescapes has really improved lately!! Grandmas knitting to win long lives and the calendar which earns you extra power ups is really helpful, love them. As always I want this amazing game to keep improving, so I really think the option to gain 5 extra moves for 900 coins is too much considering you only gain roughly 60 coins when you finish a level. Another aspect that needs a change is when you complete hard levels you should win 2 stars not just 1. Finally I didn’t like how many stars I had to use up when completing the small storyline about grandmas cooking competition with Ralph. I’d rather use my stars to build my house and garden. So I think the building is the main path and character things are on the side, you don’t have to complete them to move forward, but you receive a prize if you do complete it.

It's a good game...but there are a few downsides. It is highly addictive, and I love the variety of power ups, and unique levels. However, considering the significant jump in how difficult the levels got so soon, it is a downfall. Not that I don't expect a challenge, but considering lives take 30 minutes to recharge each, if you attempt one level and have to repeat it over and over, it is tiresome. Also, if you want to continue a level 900 coins is a lot, especially when with each level you are only getting around 50-80 coins in return, and that is if you manage to pass in the first place. I really like the concept, and I am sure this isn't an issue for people who pay to play the game, but it is a bit too much. I have been enjoying the updates and daily reward, that's fantastic!!! However, I have just reached level 154, a level that I have played now over 20 times with no luck (not even close to passing the level). On trying to find tips on completing this level it used to be a 50-50 level where people use nearly all of their moves to achieve a pass, and now it is 70-70. I had the rainbow ball three times, and I put it on the red bow and it still was not enough to collect enough of the items I needed during the level. How!! I am not going to pay to complete levels.

Entertaining Game.... Remarkably I am now on level 673, I have been playing homescapes for about a year and a half (possibly longer) and still enjoy it. Most games I start obsessed but then it dies and I delete it, this game although sometimes very frustrating it has been the only game to last such a long time. I must say the support team are awesome, I recently came across my first glitch in the game, when I finished enough levels to get my big reward on my “scarf” the reward didn’t come through on my account (3 hours of unlimited loves & power ups) I found it so easy to locate how to send a message to support and they got back to me within 24 hours with a response and put the reward into my account. I was very impressed with the efficiency and nice message from the support team. So thank you 😊

Enjoy game but..... I began this game because of the ad and thought you had to build the house before you faced scenario challenges. I have finished the house and instead of scenario challenges there is another house to build. Lost interest in game now as it is not what is advertised and tired of how the levels are all getting ridiculously hard with no increased reward both in stars and coins won. I have enjoyed this game, even with the frustrations and have considered many times to delete. The most annoying thing is the glitches I keep experiencing on the occasional purchases of extra coins when I’m am tired of playing the same level and never passing. I’m certain this is designed like this to encourage expensive purchases. I have been charged for coins I have not authorised or charged more than once for one purchase. Currently I have been charged 5 times for one purchase and note I never receive the coins! I then have to go through the dispute process which takes 48 hours and when it’s rejected I have to dispute that decision which is another 48 hours. Very annoying and if it continues I’ll delete the game. Please sort this out!!

To expensive. I have waited 2years before I started playing again, I was hoping for some changes but I can see there hasn’t been, your still greedy ,it’s a shame because it is a beautiful game but so expensive, I find myself spending between $5 and 24$ every couple of days, every second puzzle can cost up to 5000 gold coins to pass, the cost of the power ups is a joke, over 900gold coins per power up and how the hell is that possible to afford when we win between 50 and 140gold coins, it’s not, so we have to pay real money to move forward, also I go through lives fast and again have to use real money, look I understand that is the point, that’s how u make ur money but come on let me enjoy the house, I want to restore it but I can’t afford to spend over 60$ a week on this, I’m happy with buying the game out right like you do an 80$ PS4 game , or even 20$ a week I don’t mind that , that’s reasonable, as long as I can watch my house grow . but seriously i can’t move forward without buying power ups or lives, it just takes the fun out of it ,I also tried Gardenscapes and the same thing there , sorry but it looks like I’ll have to quit like I did a couple of years back.

Losing interest because it’s too hard. This game started off really well but then became hard out of nowhere... now I’ve been stuck on the same level for about 1 and a half weeks and I’ve used all my powerups on this very level. For this reason I’m starting to get over this game. This isn’t the first time this has happened either so it’s getting a bit old now. The developers of this game have another version (Gardenscapes) which I recommend as gameplay is so much better. You progress quicker but it’s still challenging as you still get stuck on levels but never more than a day or two. It’s prefect! Ive had Gardenscapes for half the time and I’ve progressed twice as much! It’s so much fun! I still go onto Housescapes to collect my daily bonus and give the level a go but it’s not fun anymore. Even if I do pass this level I’ll be stuck on another level in the next couple of games. Also, it’s costs too many stars to do anything either so you’re just sitting there doing nothing and it’s boring!!!

Not bad, decent, could be better. This game is a good time waster and quite fun if you enjoy match-3 games. However, it gets frustrating when it seems that some levels are basically designed for you to spend money on coins to get upgrades or extra moves to pass the level. Some people don't have the spare cash in their budget to purchase coins and what real money you spend isn't even worth what you get, especially if you have to throw currency conversion in. The daily bonus is a good idea, though the seventh day isn't that great compared to the best spin in Gardenscapes. It's more interactive with the designing of the house than designing the garden in the previous game which is a definite bonus. So to summarise, it is a difficult interactive time-consuming match-3 game that may require you to purchase bonuses or extra coins for lives and bonuses.

Love it...but needs fixing. I love the game with out a doubt, but there’s a few things that could be changed. 1. To get more lives it takes 30 minuets, which is a long time to wait 5-10 minuets is more reasonable. 2. While you wait for new lives there’s nothing to do, you could maybe make it that simple everyday tasks like answering the door, feeding the cat, cleaning and starting a new day not require any stars. 3. To continue on or buy boosters it $900 which is a lot considering that you only get $50-70 each time you complete a level. Most of the time I have just one more thing that I need to do but I only have $500 which takes me a week to save up. 4. When you complete a “hard level” you still only get 1 star and some coins. Maybe make it that you get more stars for the “hard levels”.

Another good game ruined by greed!. Firstly, this is a good game. It’s enjoyable and very pretty to look at. I was having fun playing it and was willing to pay for extra coins to extend play. However, it is huge and I only got to the 3rd section when it got much harder. I’m now finding I hit designated ‘hard’ levels every 2 to 3 games. What this means is that I have to either re-play the level multiple times until I get a lucky combination (although this is now getting less effective) or spend my in-game coins to get through. I get that the developers need to make money but this is getting ridiculous. It’s not fun anymore as there is no thought or challenge - it’s either luck or money now. Developers of these types of games just don’t understand that people have to enjoy a game all the way through if they want them to stick with it and spend a reasonable amount. Treating players as cash cows is not the way to build loyalty and ongoing support. Another good game ruined by greed :-(

Could be better. I downloaded the game because I saw an ad for it on another game I was playing, I had been seeing the ad for a while and finally decided to download it, however, the game itself isn’t so much about what you see on the ad it’s about renovating a home. I played the game for a bit, there’s too much dialogue, you spend a lot of time reading and then the rest of the time you spend playing something similar to a candy crush game just to earn only one star to pay to replace a rug, or furniture or paper the walls etc i would prefer to play more of the games you see on the adverts, less of the candy crush type game, I would prefer less dialogue and for the game to move a bit faster in terms of working on the rooms etc. I do like that the game allows you to change your selection for example if you’ve selected a blue arm chair and you change your mind you’re able to change it at any time and I like the general idea of the game I like being able to turn something old and dirty into something new and clean.

Homescapes. I am honestly in love with this app!! I used to have this game for a short amount of time, before deciding to delete, since I didn’t play it much anymore. Now, about 4, 5 years later, I have downloaded it once more. What I really love is the fact that it saves your progress! Even after you delete it, like I have done so in the past. The downside to this game is the lives, or hearts, if you will. Unless you have an infinite lives boost, you only get 5 or so lives each day, which I find quite annoying. My suggestion is to give players infinite lives when they start the game, and once they get up to level, say, 50, then the lives should be limited to about 30, etc, etc. As the player climbs levels, the lives are decreased. Please put some thought into this suggestion. It would help me, and other players worldwide, heaps! For another, I think it would be great if it didn’t cost a “star” to begin a new day. Perhaps a few coins instead? Other then those issues it is a wonderful little game. It’s graphics are super cute, and the characters themselves are heaps of fun! I especially love the feature of how you can name Austin’s cat. Adorable! This game is extremely underrated. Please take note that “Homescapes” is a unpolished jewel.

Super fun, you can play free. I’ve been playing this game for around 2+ years fairly regularly and am up past level 4500. Some levels are obviously harder than others but the more you practice, the more you learn techniques to pass these tricky levels, although sometimes it’s just luck. I like the extra challenges where you can win lots of bonus prizes because I have NEVER spent a dollar on this game and never will because I want to pass the levels myself. I think that’s a rabbit hole one can easily fall into and before you know it you’re buying your way through the game. Yes it’s addictive but you can stop whenever you like for a week or two and pick up where you left off. I like that the further you get into the game the challenges don’t cost more, initially I was concerned I’d end up needing 5+ stars to finish one challenge- it’s pretty consistent and the story keeps moving pretty quickly.

Interesting game, but.... I have been playing this game for long time to kill the time. However, like others said, taking too long to finish 1 hard game. It could take up to more than a week. There are not much option to do, so most of the time are ‘no more move’. Spaces are limited to be able to make 3 matching colours. To make the matter worse, there are not enough same colours to match it. I have been looking into other games too. If this game getting too ridiculous, I might just completely stop it. However, the good things are you give us challenge team game and extra time to play. The things that I don’t understand is ‘why we need to have the safe to keep the money while we can’t take the money out to use it?’ Then you keep asking us to buy a bigger safe to be able to save more money??? What for????

I AM SO FRUSTRATED!. So I saw the ads for this game constantly and it looked really fun so I got it, and i was completely mislead by the false advertising. But I still continued as it was still entertaining. But I didn’t expect it to be a bad version of candy crush. If I wanted to play candy crush I would be playing that. The most ridiculous part of this whole game is that you play these levels that get quite hard to only get 1 star, whilst most things take 1 or more and then you have to repeat the whole process. Yet I still ignored thinking oh I’m sure I’ll start getting daily rewards, you know as it’s so annoying to get stars, but no! And then I thought maybe the harder levels will reward with 2 stars so you don’t have to repeat it again and again and again, but no again! Anyways the game itself is addicting I must add but after a certain point I would just rather go and play anything else! I think if a few of these things were changed the game would be a very fun game. I also read a few other reviews and know I’m not alone in thinking this, so I think it would be a good idea to 1, not false advertise, and 2, listen to what everyone is saying in their reviews. Don’t mean to be rude but just thought I’d share my review! Thank you!

I don’t want to play Candy Crush. I got this game because I thought it was about renovating a house. Nope it’s basically candy crush, and bits of renovating in between. And it’s so hard to earn stars to complete an action. Thinks take 2-3 stars, and that’s not including when things are divided up such as flooring. It is extremely difficult to pay levels with buying extra moves which I don’t want to do. And earning money from levels is just not worth it. The levels need to change up a bit, make it a candy crush level, then throw in a word search, crossword or hidden object kind of levels to change it up. Also levels are labeled as hard but still only worth 1 star. Make hard levels worth more stars. Also why am I wasting 2 stars on making a phone call, answering the door or cleaning up the cat and birds mess. It’s just not worth it. When you’ve completed a day why not make it wait an hour and then start the new day instead of wasting stars. This game is just a money grabber

Good but some things to tweak. Some of the things you’ve advertised were the multiple choice things, and there have been a lot of complaints about the mini games, I would strongly suggest to have a mini game button to play so players don’t get so annoyed and it would be so much more fun too. With those mini games you could have rewards like hearts, or money because another thing a lot of people don’t like is the limited hearts. So by adding the mini games you would be able to take out the false advertising issue and the hearts issue. Make it easier for you so you don’t get as many complaints, and make it a lot more fun for players like me who enjoy playing but can’t stand the hearts. Also side note, on harder levels you should add more stars as a reward, although I don’t have an issue with it I’ve read some reviews and agree that on harder levels there should be more stars. Please take all this into consideration. -thanks x

Really good app but has some cons as well. This is a really good app with an amazing story line and has become extremely addictive. I love how it has a variety of different power ups compared to a lot of other games as well as it going towards a particular goal as you pass each level. Although, I am quite a new comer to this game and I am ONLY on level 60 and I have noticed an extreme dip in difficulty. Not that I don’t expect it to be a challenge etc. but it gets kind of absurd when you have pretty much in my opinion barely started the game and you are already struggling to pass levels to even get 1 star. Especially when the goals you need to complete begin to use more and more stars. I’m sorry to say but something may need to change or I can’t play this game anymore, and I am sure all users have the same views as I do... if this one thing slightly changed it would probably be my favourite game!

Annoyed. This game is not what the advertisement shows. I got interested based on the ad now I'm annoyed that I'm stuck at a level and still no sign of the game being like the ad. Where's the part when you hit the wrong picture you fail? And choosing the right tool to fix thing? Where? I'd really like to know. Btw I hate candy crush and didn't anticipate playing it on this. Give me what the ad shows

Honest as I can be. Overall game is great. Graphics, events, and seeing the house come together was super satisfying. Why the one star review then? I got to level 2520 (completed the first house entirely) simply because it was so addicting and I have to say this game was super stressful and frustrating, especially when you lose on the last turn. There where times where I would be stuck on a level for days, not because I was bad at the game, but because I didn’t have power ups. There are certain levels that can only be won with all the power ups! Also, their were times the airplanes wouldn’t hit the right tile on the last turn and I would lose.... Deleted the game a few days ago and I must say it’s a great decision I made.

Unacceptable Data Collection. BEFORE ANYONE INSTAL’S THESE GAMES ON YOUR DECICE PLEASE READ THE PRIVACY POLICY AND WHAT DATA THEY COLLECT LIKE THEY COLLECT YOUR PHONES IMEI # , AND THEY ALSO COLECT INFORMATION ABOUT YOUR IP ADDRESS AND THEY COLLECT INFORMATION ABOUT YOU FROM TBIRD PARTIES LIKE GOOGLE ,FACEBOOK AND INSTAGRAM . I feel this is totally an invasion of privacy .

Disappointed. Disappointed. What is in the Ad is not at all what is played. Same game different name. Makes you do all kinds of useless things with the stars you collect instead of moving forward with the renovations. Anyways boring and was expecting so much better.

False advertising. Not the game from the millions of ads all over the web. It’s a Bejewelled based purchase storyline, nothing more.

False advertising. Nothing like what was shown in ad.

Waste of time & false advertising. This is not a game, it’s click bait. All positive ratings are fake. The game adds don’t reflect the game. There was never a problem to fix. After spending way too much time I never progress to rooms. The characters dialog was stupid and couldn’t skip. To move through levels you have to spend money or relying on social media. Waste of time.

Not worth it. I will be deleting as soon as I’m done reviewing. Spent 98% time and effort to win stars in a ‘candy crush’ game but the game I wanted, which you showed in ads, is non existent. What a waste of time!

Ad is very misleading!. The ad really is nothing like the game. I downloaded because the ad made it look like fun however it’s basically like playing candy crush. Very disappointed. Will delete.

Really fun but.... Please rethink the game. Really hard to get through some level. Not enough hammer or bonus stuff. Also you never give enough money for us to continue. It gets boring when you can do anything.

Bait and switch. I kept seeing the ad for this game and thought that looks like fun. Putting out fires and fixing the plumbing. That’s not the game I downloaded. This is a puzzle game. Which is puzzling to me. Why don’t they show this in the ads. And where is the game shown in the ads? Because that’s the one I want

Clickbait. It’s almost like this game was a clickbait. Not the game that was advertised on other apps. If I wanted something like candy crush, would’ve downloaded candy crush. Barely gave this game 5 minutes

Misleading ads. The ads for this game is extremely misleading. Game disappointingly is just another match 3 game.

Nothing whatsoever in common with add. Installed 3 games from this developer looking for the interesting puzzle like games that were advertised. For some reason they have decided to provide adds for their games that have nothing whatsoever to do with the game being advertised. I don’t get it. Uninstalled

Save katrin?!. What the actual heck? An add popped up on my minesweeper game advertising some kind of homescapes game where you torture some chick. Da f’q is wrong with you people? That’s sick.

false ads. is there a way to play the challenge games without decorating a house? the game ads show the games & nothing to do with the house decorating- false advertising!!

Upset in level setting. This game may fun but after unfound that you went round and round not getting anywhere and found that u had purposely set the level so hard its wasting ❤️ and patient and those inks in this are not on making it more inpatient to point ☝️ of giving up on completely from been struck at 28 and waste those hearts and real money 💰 to bankrupt.

False Advertisement. Very disappointing game, nothing in the advertisements show a match 3 game. It shows fixing/repairing a destroyed area by picking one of three items as well as picking one of three items to save someone from a bad situation. Very shady and sad that they can’t even advertise the real game (cause it sucks compared to the advertisement!)

Yeah ok uhhhhh no. I was about to download this game for the ad but I was reading the games review and for the first I was like ok no big deal then I got deeper and every one was saying “false advertising” so here I am now so if you were going to download this game for the ad please don’t it’s a waist of your time that is why I’m giving this game... 0 ⭐️ (yeah ok I wish ) 1 ⭐️ thank you for reading

Not what's in the advertisement. I mean, it's ok for a match 3 game, but it's not a match 3 game that's advertised. I wouldn't have downloaded it if the ad was true to the game which I guess is how they pull you in. It's a cute story but it isn't what I wanted to play.

Fake ads. This and many games like it give you false hope of a good game. It is nothing like the ad suggests. I’m just more curious to find the game advertised then anything.

Nothing like the Ad!. Where the heck is the game from the ad I clicked on! This is candy crush with horrible interior decorating. Seriously, I wanna hit a robber in an elevator with a bat!! Why Homescapes!

Fake. Nothing like the ads. I downloaded it thinking it was like the ad. Deleted once realizing it wasn’t. Go make the game u are advertising and I’ll download that

Horrible. There is a fine line between challenging and stupid, they have leaped over that line here...such an obvious ploy to get you to spend money on more lives and boosters, no entertainment value like previous games just an old formula to try to grab money.

Ok but I didnt get the game to play candy crush!!!. Ok but they dont give you any stars to start the game. If you like candy crush this may ust be the game for you, but personally if I wanted to play candy crush I would get candy crush. They should get rid of the candy crush, and put more of the escape game. You only get to play the escape game every once and a while. Also you need to use your stars for stupid things like waking the character up. Overal, not a fan. 👎🏻👎🏻👎🏻👎🏻👎🏻👎🏻👎🏻

Confused. This game is nothing like I expected. I was intrigued with a game I saw an ad for (lots of ads mind you). However, after trying it out, realized it’s nowhere close to the type of game advertised, just a very very poor excuse for yet another matching game.

Sera. First off. You can't post a review unless you give it a three star review so highly doubt this will be posted but this is NOT the game advertised. Shame on you getting people to download this hooey. Make the game you advertised and there you will have a great game. Shame on you

SO FAKE. The ads seem so interesting way more interesting than the actual game I hate that they make the ads so different so you actually want to get the game but I kind of understand why probably because the game itself is such a waste of time and money. If you like this game....ok I am not judging you but for my opinion it’s a NO! 🙄😑👎Horrible

Misleading advertisements for this game. While playing other games, I see ads for this app. These advertisements are completely irrelevant to the actual game - these ads are misleading of what the actual game ensues. That’s disappointing.

Boo. You have made the game way too difficult. Don’t enjoy the game not fun anymore. Notice team players aren’t on like before. Spend days on very difficult puzzles.

Fake.

Fake adds. The game was nothing like the one in the add. That was the only reason I wanted to get this game. So naturally, I was bummed that the whole game was just a stupid candy crush rip off.

False advertising. This game is nothing like the advertisement. I am on level 82 and still nothing remotely close. If I wanted to play Candy crush I would.

What have they done?!. I’ve been a daily player for at least a couple years, and have tossed this game more money than any other game on my phone. That ends TODAY. Playrix just eliminated the ability to back out of a level (no moves played) without losing lives or boosters. I am extremely unhappy with this change, and am only going to return when they reverse this decision. I would appreciate a response.

Fausse publicité. Je voulais jouer au jeu de puzzle trouver le bon chemin ou le bon outil, comme la pub !.... mais ce n’est pas le jeu du tout.... ne vous fiez pas aux apparences.

Not what it looks like. If you’ve seen an ad for this game where you repair and fix things, not be fooled! This is a glorified candy crush type game. And not that good.

Relentless ads are the worst. What could be so great about a game that has to assault you with ads to convince you that it’s worth playing. Not worth the time or attention.

Wrong. Misleading ad

Not the game I saw. I was excited to play the game I saw in the ads however it’s not the game I downloaded. I’m very disappointed.

Not like the ad. This game was disappointing. I was interested by the game that was shown in the ad, and yet the game is NOTHING like it at all! Why show an ad for a game that isn’t even available? Why not make that game?

False advertising. Choose the cat and get rid of the mouse? Never get that option. This is just a lame game with ugly design options.

Greg. You will see many ads for this game and related ones (gardens capes, townscapes) in many other games. However, gameplay in the ads is NOTHING like the actual gameplay. I downloaded this game on the basis of the ads I had seen and played it for several hours before deleting it. Not what I had expected. Additionally, there are many events which operate on a clock ( eg bonus in effect for xx minutes) so for maximum benefit, you have to continue playing. I' prefer a game I can play non my schedule, not the games.

Fun game too expensive. Your game is fun and I enjoy the challenging levels, however your coins are too expensive for what you get! You get close to the end of the level and need a couple items and it's $900 coins to start only going up from there. TOO EXPENSIVE! I spent $120 at least but no more I will be deleting this game you should make it more fair for your customers and not be so greedy! I have been playing Hayday for years now and I have no problem spending money with them as they are fair with what you are paying for, you guys are not!

DO NOT DOWNLOAD THIS GAME! It’s a SCAM. This game is absolutely nothing like what the adverts have been showing! It’s essentially a low budget candy crush and not helping a lady get to her lover or whatever else they advertised! They make their money off downloads so they don’t care whether or not you are pleased with or actually play the game. This rubbish should be taken off the App Store!!! COMPLETE WASTE OF TIME!!!!!

Not as advertised. This game is nothing like the advertisement. Just another Candy Crush. Very disappointed with it.

Love it. Love this game but we should get $$ easier, it gets a little hard sometimes... just wish you could get extra cash

???. Why is the game not the game you show?...pick and item (correct or fail)? Where is that game?

Garbage. Nothing like the ads. Its all false advertising and click bate. This is just candy crush with stupid side quests.

Fun game but also aggravating. The levels are fun and the decorating is enjoyable, however, you have to waste stars constantly doing meaningless tasks such as finding the cat or calling the parents a taxi. I would not recommend playing if you actually want to focus on the decorating. Quite disappointed.

Fun. I like it

I'll spend money If. I loved the entire concept of this game but I had to delete it because it was just far to frustrating for us. We played the game only to enjoy the decorating part and the storyline but we hardly ever got around to having the chance to do that because we couldn't pass the levels and they lost interest and were disappointed more than not! I see many many players frustrated over the same thing. The game is far too difficult. I prefer games that are fun and relaxing but this one is actually stressful. I would be willing to spend money even IF the money actually helped you play through with more ease but, it doesn't. In fact, It is even more frustrating when you see how little your money actually buys you. Please please please, make the game a lil easier or the money we spend worth it. I would even prefer to be offered a chance to purchase special decorating items as way for you to tempt players to spend money on your games IF THE GAME WERE more enjoyable. I wish this was a hidden object game or something that was more relaxing and less challenging because the concept of decorating gardens and homes is fabulous. Please make changes soon because I want this game back. But I want to relax while I play I would like the kids to enjoy the time we share playing. I'll spend money on the game if you can do that, I'm sure others would too. If not, we could watch ads to earn things. I see other games offer that option. Please think of something to make it easier and more relaxing.

Disappointed!. I waited so long to give my review because I was waiting for a change but it doesn’t seem to be coming any time soon. The amount of coins the game asks to buy power ups or moves is ridiculous! It doesn’t give good rewards and asks for way too many stars for really simple tasks. I don’t really know why it has to ask for stars to do something so unrelated to decorating the house. The garden looks cute but it had to be left for the end of the game. I have never spent real money in a game but in this one and cooking fever. But cooking fever has not disappointed me so bad like Homescapes. It’s really discouraging and disappointing to be asked for so much and be rewarded so little. I moved on to the living room now and it asked for stars to light the fireplace just for it to not work and ask you for more stars to clean the mess and then ask you for more stars to try again and light it up. This also happened before with several other things. So annoying!!! Mostly because you only get ONE star per level where you can spend 10+ lives and tons of coins and power ups to pass. It’s really getting annoying to see that the more we move on with levels, we are asked to use more stars to do really simple tasks. Also, please give us more time to purchase your special offers, not just one hour. Sometimes we’re busy and can’t make the purchase at the moment. You should allow at least a day to make the purchase. Maybe none of you read the reviews cause there is lots of unhappy players just like me and not changes have been made. You should pay more attention to us so we keep playing. I love the game, too bad it’s only interest is to get people to spend their money. No rewards at all!!!!

Restored. Thanks so much for sticking with me to help me find my lost progress. Someone from your staff really cares, and was able to find my game, lost now for a long time! That takes dedication and concern for your players, thx so much…awesome customer service if you ever need them, top notch! Well, I AM grateful that my game got restored, but I will say this, the reason for the drop in stars is because, as other reviewers I’ve read feel the same..it seems like you get PUNISHED for being a loyal long time playing, AND PAYING mind you, customer. As you progress in the story, the levels get crazy hard, with super hard levels coming like every THREE levels, and if they’re not super hard, they’re hard, which at times those are worse than the super hard. Also, they place the replay level button in the SAME place as the continue using 900 coins for more lives button, which SLWAYS gets accidentally hit if you’ve been playing for a lil bit. You’re used to hitting retry to move to try the level again, you don’t realize you’re out of lives while playing levels and hitting retry cause it’s only visible if you close the screen where you play levels, so you always click when you don’t want to, and I’m sorry, but the placement of that is NOT an accident. They KNOW. Other players feel, as do I, that your game shouldn’t become so hard and frustrating, where there’s little progress made, the longer you’ve been playing, and the level of enjoyment goes down…..too hard, inconvenient placement of tabs, and the push to make you spend money after playing for YEARS? Great customer service, yes, so let’s hope they respond to their veteran players and make some changes!

Awesome game so far. All of my games are kind of boring but when I downloaded this game It’s amazing I’m on day two right now but so far it’s so good I think all people that have devices that can download this game should download it and it’s just like in the ads. Well it’s just about Austin so far but the thing that is so weird his name is Austin and my brother‘s name is Austin how weird is that right? And my name is Ashton AnyWho let’s get back into the game. when you beat levels you get stars and if people know about Royal Match, it’s kinda like that game and it’s kind of like candy crush but it’s really like Royal Match in Royal Match. You have to make a castle and finish all the rooms in this game, it’s kind of different you get to explore the house and when you walk around the house eat each room you go to it’s all dirty because the house has been old for a long time so you have to create the house again and the parents were going to sell it but Austin said I’ll take care of the house for you. This game is so awesome so far you should download it and it has mini games too many games where you gives the guy money and you give him for the fireplace that’s all the mini games I had so far and the matching games so far I finished his room I didn’t get to finish all the other ones I did I go to the other room. I have to go to the next day to finish the next room. I hope you enjoy this game when you download it. whoever is reading this you should download this now!! it’s so good. This is how much I love it so far.💙💙💜💜💜❤️❤️💜💜💙💜❤️❤️❤️💜💜💜❤️💜❤️💜💜💙💜💜💜❤️❤️❤️💜💜💙💙💜💜❤️❤️💜💜💜💙💙💜💜❤️💜💜💜💙💜❤️❤️💜💙💙💜💜❤️💜💙💙💜❤️❤️💜💙💙💜❤️❤️❤️💙💜💜💜💜❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️💜💙 I hope you enjoy it too

Discrepancies. I love the game it’s fun to play. However the cost to restore or buy more lives is way too nuch especially when compared to how many couns we actually get for completing the level that’s one. Two I feel as though with the stars for everyone level completed should get two or three stars at a time instead of one. Three the power ups are kinda useless it’s like when you use a combination of two like the bomb and the rocket they don’t do what you would expect them to do in the game and demolish the board. Four it certain levels and addition to the power ups they don’t really alter or destroy the other obstacles around the pieces to destroy them so it’s like wasting a move you didn’t have to, for example the cookies in certain levels when you use a powerup or a combination of two to clear the board or clear the obstacles it’s like it destroys one or two and then the whole thing is just done. It’s like how can you really enjoy the game when you feel like you’re being cheated in the game I know every level won’t be easy to beat but there has to be some lead way with the coins and stars and also the prizes. Also another thing about the game is the use of stars for unnecessary stuff if the game is focused on fixing the house then stars should just be for fixing the house not making phone calls to other people or talking to a neighbor I think that should just happen naturally in the game and whatever changes comes up during that conversation or whatever the case may be should be for the stars use. Also the prizes could be more sufficient and get better rather than switching them out and only receiving one or two.

‼️Developers please read!‼️. I love this game so much, which is why I gave it those two stars, and I want to give it all five, but I can’t because I have been stuck on level 24 for three days now! I think that level is unreasonably difficult, and NEEDS to be fixed! You need to give players MUCH more moves to compensate for it! How do you expect us to be able to get 80 TOTAL (40 books, 40 lamps) with like 15 moves? I understand that the point is for it to be difficult so that it is not boring, but this is irrational and unreasonable. I have deleted this app once before because of this level despite loving the game, and I don’t want to do it again, I really don’t. It breaks my heart because this is an awesome game, but this level destroys the fun! I understand that you’re trying to make a game for kids, teens, and adults, but I (14), my mom (40s), nor my dad (late late 40s) could beat this level. You NEED to either give more moves, or make it easier. I don’t want to delete this game again, but this level makes me angry, and it doesn’t help my very severe anxiety by adding unwanted stress. Now that I’m done complaining, I can say what I like! I love that you don’t specify gender, or have us pick, because as someone who is transnonbinary, I have encountered WAY too many games that gender the player, and it’s a breath of fresh air! I like that you require a Facebook sign in to socialize, because this keeps people that are too young from being put in danger! I love love LOVE renovating the house, and the story is so interesting! The art style and the way the characters look and are portrayed is amazing! Kudos Playrix! Thanks for reading, I know I kinda droned on and made a long review!

Love and Hate At Level 1028. Greetings Homescapers! I’m seriously at level 1028, and I have yet to get back in the house! I’ve done so many chores around the house, fixing this that and the other. The garage tasks are still not complete as I have done far more decorative things in the garage rather than fixing the car. I wish that when you did a room, you finish the room and move on. Not do two tasks, then four elsewhere. I could understand if a household emergency popped up, like a leaky sink for his mom, but I’m in the garage and have to now go back outside to add a frog pond and rock garden? WHY am I not allowed back into the house in the “shadowed” rooms? If you look at the overall house and the rate at which it took to do things, am I looking at level 5000 or more? Can’t we do the garden and all the cosmetic nonsense at upper levels when the main gameplay is complete? I have no issues with the levels, awesome job, developers. But rate of return vs. effort is seriously out of balance. People need to stop complaining about how hard the levels are, because they ARE achievable, if you think about it for a bit, even if you get ticked that it is going to take you a little longer than five lives. However, developers, if you want people to stick around, get the house done first! I have never played a game with so much still to do, at level 1028, and I’m nowhere close to having the house done. Developers, at least give me hope and tell me what level I get back in the house! Fun game, and my favorite, but there are days....

Loosing Patience. After playing so many games similar to homescapes I was ecstatic when upon downloading this game I realized it was a hidden object game instead of the matching which as people said gets repetitive. As they also said this game is the first game that is hidden object that feels like on the computer. I loved it at first but after playing for about a month now I am realizing as the energy needed to play the levels goes up that I am loosing patience with the game. It is so frustrating that I have to wait over an hour for the right amount of energy to play a room and then once the room is played I only get around usually 15 percent of my star which results In me having to play the same star upwards of five times. At 45 energy... that’s a lot. My suggestions is to maybe lower the amount of energy it takes to play the rounds, be more consistent with the stars (I finished a level with 1:19 left on the clock and still scored the same as I do when I had 10 seconds left), I get X’s when I click on correct items (it’s a phone there needs to be some leeway it’s not fair to take Time off when I’m clicking the right item.) I know it’s too crazy of an idea to do what they do in games like homescapes and candy crush where you keep playing until you lose a round (I think that’s fair, if I complete the round I should be able to play until I lose) but something needs to be done because I like a lot of others on here seem to really love the game but am getting fed up with the frustration of playing it. This could be a really great thing if a few things changed to favor the player.

Used to love the game but…. The game used to be fun and I have been playing it for years. I think I might have left a couple of 5 star review before. This is my first time dropping a 2 star one and I must admit, 1 star is only for the nostalgia I feel for the game. The game has gotten worse and worse over time and I mean that in each and every area. The icon used to be better, the graphics, the stories and so on… now it’s just season after season, asking to be paid in order to get boosters and such. I had to wait many minutes for the game to be updated (after the download) and I hated all of it. I wish I hadn’t been forced to update the game. The new looks and changes aren’t appealing on any level and I’m not just leaving this comment because I had gotten used to em over the years. NO, THEY ARE JUST NOT APPEALING. the new 3d cartoon ish look, ugh, I don’t know what were the creators thinking! Changing the place of left moves during a level? Why exactly could that be? I used to love the game because the characters, the stories, the design was well thought through. I don’t wanna play so many other games during my actual game and line if story. Maybe some events for special holidays (like before) that can be a playful change but we don’t need one every WEEK! I think not only the design should go back to how it was, also the new seasons and features should be cancelled, receiving coins and money should also go back. But I’m seriously considering deleting the app, the update really ruined it for me! I will be waiting for a new one to make it go back Thank you

Boooo!

Hard game love it though. If you want something hard, get this game not I would not recommend it for kids, though something that is not supposed to be seen by kids so yeah you know this is all my daughter. I’ve had. She knows what is right but it’s just not something that kid shouldn’t be having. It’s like it’s just something that I saw that would not be recommended for kids to see even though we love it she has something we would recommend for kids if you don’t for kids or something hard cause sometimes it’s just like oh and little mini games that you’re supposed to get stars with it all it sometimes oh you’re on and you clearly have moves. I just don’t. I just wanna be like I just wanna be stupid but it’s a great game overall still still would not recommend it to kids though, but if you have any questions read, this would probably be good even if you read it even if you write it so yeah when I was talking not the menu for kids there was a private part involved. I don’t really like it, but it’s still great overall it’s not on a woman no no no no it’s not going to be on a woman unless that woman is very very much lion overall here it’s fine but it’s just not for kids. It is not is not easy nor is it nor is it Appropriate for kids like the whole story about private part you know I was just I was just playing I was what I was just like I chose something and then I looked up until two rooms that were not available to me. I was up to one OK it was fine and I swear to them, and then I looked around the room and I saw the private part and I and I don’t wanna be talking about this Anymore so yeah it’s fun when you want some hard stuff to do super easy as well but it but you know it’s good. I like it. I love it you know.

Money hungry trash!. This game is basically a candy crush game hidden behind a home renovation game. In fact, I tried this game because I liked figuring out how to get through obstacles....like in the “in-game” ads you see. Unfortunately, those are “mini-games” within a candy crush type of game....and those happen only once in about 50 levels. That wouldn’t even be that much of an issue, but after a while, when you’re hooked, they make it near impossible to pass a board without buying assistance. We’ve all seen it in other games, but this one literally won’t let you get passed a board without it. I got caught on board 245 (I think, for a few days) and it was only by pure luck of the drop, did I happen to get passed it. I have no problem with a challenge, but make it based on skill, not luck or having to pay for assistance. Finally, they also want you to connect to facebook so you can “save your progress”. There’s no reason for any game to have access to your account, especially to promote their products. That’s fine, I was able to play for a couple of weeks without signing in, but when I was on level 355, the game reset on me. There’s no way I was going through that headache again, so I deleted the app. The worst part about getting reset, was I was on the top three to get a big bonus chest. Don’t buy, unless you want to keep feeding the machine for assistance. I’d rather a game charge me upfront, then while I’m playing it. Challenges are fun, but not at the cost of my wallet..

Seriously guys?. A while back, I deleted this game and I forgot why, because I only remembered that I always thought it was so much fun. Now that I’ve been playing it again for a month, I remembered why I deleted it, except now, it’s WORSE. Right now, I’m stuck on a “hard” level. Not even a “super hard” level. Individually, there are 151 objects you must hit with a power up item. Including ice cubes and boxes all of which you have to hit 2-3 times. Do you know how many moves the game developers give you to complete this level? SIXTEEN. You get SIXTEEN moves which means on average, you’d have to hit 10 objects per move to complete the level. Shame on the game developers for that. There shouldn’t be ANY level that you can’t complete without spending money, because you guys are making money hand over fist and you are using the same psychological predatory tactics as casinos use. The more money you spend, the harder the levels get and before you know it, you’ve spent 50 dollars In 2 dollar purchases and have nothing to show for it. I know this is exactly what they are doing, because I am a pattern recognizer, so, listen to me. For a normal level, by the way, you get 18-30 coins. If you need more moves (which almost EVERY level does lately) it’s 900 coins. Oops, you need five more? 1200 more coins, and so on. You get the picture. Y’all are worse than casinos, because At least at a casino, eventually you might break even, or even win a little money to take home. I feel like I just got cuckholded by a video game. I’m just humiliated and my bank account got … well, you get the picture.

Deleted game after 3 days. I played this game for about 3 days and reached level 70 or so, until the matching games required to earn coins, stars and crystals became impossible to win without using (purchasing) multiple power ups and clearing tools to win each game. The clearing tools are 1900 coins for 3 uses of a tool, so that’s about $3 cash to get enough coins to purchase just one type of tool. If you don’t finish the matching game in the allotted number of moves, you can spend 900 coins to keep going another 5 moves; if you don’t have the 900 coins, you lose the game AND lose any power ups earned, and have to start that matching game all over again. Essentially, the matching game eventually cripples the player who isnt interested in spending major bucks to continue playing, so don’t bother downloading and playing unless you are willing to spend a lot to play. There are side quests; I only started the one with adults losing their memories and the butler is trying to help. To move through the quest, you have to earn blue crystals - again by playing the impossible-to-win-without-multiple-power-ups/tools matching games - and making progress takes literally thousands of these crystals. Again, the player hits the road block of not being able to win the matching games after a certain point without multiple power ups and clearing tools. I will say, I’d rather watch a few ads than have the means of earning the currencies to play a game become so impossible to win that the best choice is to delete the game.

Please read before you get! I only want minigames!!!. So 𝕐𝔼𝔸ℍ I used to play this game ALL DAY once I figured out that they added what they avertize. Their ads normally had things like "Pull the Pegs to Save the Girl!" and "Help Him Get Clean Water!" which to me, and many others before they added it, sounded really fun and cool so you get it an it's all a trap for the same stupid thing that Candy Crush is basically (which I find very boring like most do). One day when I get my new phone, the game says that they added minigames which ARE WHAT THEY AVERTIZE (finally!)! So one thing led to another and I got it again. It was the same at first, but then I got to a minigame and it was fun! BUT IT ONLY LASTS FOR 10 SECONDS!!!! Then you have to play off brand Candy Crush again! So months ago I got to this really hard off brand Candy Crush round, and it wouldn't let me win! So I tried to play one of the minigames and it said I HAD TO FINISH THE ROUND(cue tiktok girl gasp)! I was really angry because I only have 5 LIVES in the ENTIRE GAME!!! So for those who have not played If you fail any of the rounds, you loose a life and when you fail five times then you can't play the entire game an you have to wait for like 10 hours before playing again! Or play up like all of you hard earned cash on 5 more lives. It really is crazy and I wish this would all go away because I WANT TO PLAY AGAIN!!!!! MAKE ALL OF THE ROUNDS WHAT YOU AVERTIZE!!! I DON'T WANT OFF BRAND CANDY CRUSH OR MINI GAMES! I WANT THE MINIGAMES TO BE THE PUZZLES, NOT CANDY CRUSH!!!!!! Homescapes creators, please read!

Fun Game Ruined by Recent Changes. This used to be a super fun game, as evidenced by the fact that I’ve beaten 5820 levels in the last year or two that I’ve been playing. However, the recent addition of the Tournament of Champions has ruined it. Every week they throw it at you and your progress comes to a screeching halt. During this time you CAN’T do regular levels. Those are locked and you van only play the tournament ladder. If you want to advance in the tournament you HAVE to use power ups and coins. A LOT. And the top prize if you do this more than anyone else? 4,000 coins, which at a rate of 900 coins per extra five moves means they reimburse you for four such continuations. In other words, trying to even place in the tournament costs far more than it returns. And if you also happen to be doing a time limited event... especially one that requires stars to progress? Forget about it! Some of those events require you to buy into them with real world money. The Tournament then effectively punishes you for having spent that money, and forces you to spend more if you don’t want the initial payment wasted. It’s just plain shady. Not only is there no option to opt out of the Tournament of Champions when it comes around, they throw it at you EVERY week. And some of them actually last five days. It’s a joke. After a month of this, I’m calling it quits. Until an opt out choice becomes available I will no longer give them money and I will no longer play while a Tournament of Champions is in progress. I’ve had it.

Cute game, however...... This game is fun! It’s a well designed, refreshing and pleasant way to spend your free time. Cue the applause.... My “however” rests with the breathtaking inequality between what you are rewarded at the end of a level AND what that reward actually gets you. As you move up levels of the game, the difference between a “regular” level and a “hard” level is barely discernible, if at all. As you approach triple-digit levels, the challenges are considerable and can take you quite a few attempts before you pass that level. Regardless, you win ONE STAR...??? And if you come close to passing the level(i.e. all donuts have dropped, but you still need to nab 3 apples), well that will cost you 900 COINS for 5 extra turns??? Oh yeah, the most you earn for levels you pass are 100 coins. Really? Oh, and when you finally win, you can take your collection of stars and choose a task to engage in. Now, you’ve spent a considerable amount of time working to get those stars, and what do you get to do???? Open a box??? Answer the door...??? For me, I love the decorating aspect of the game and found it really fun to pick out lighting fixtures and furniture for the front hall of the house. As the levels get harder, the tasks seem to be way less interesting than in the beginning when the levels were easier and the return on your winnings made way more sense. I can see that I’m not alone in my observations on this. I do hope the developers take mine and many other reviews like this into consideration and make some adjustments here.

At all.

HATE & Love this game. I’m a loyal player (level 7912) so obviously I enjoy the game! What I don’t enjoy is LITERALLY every time there is a special games within the game the levels get extra hard. Some are already difficult to beat. Like days to beat. But you get these special games where you need to collect a RIDICULOUS amount of candies for the levels & they get EXTREMELY difficult to beat. To where it takes over a week sometimes. Then you run out of time but hey they will give you extra time if you pay X amount of dollars. So you pay it and the levels are still extra hard (even the regular difficultly ones) and still just short of finishing up or sometimes if your lucky and pay extra money for the special pieces and extra moves you get to finish the special events. And when you are trying to buy the pieces for the extra special rooms or yard to redecorate they cost a fortune to purchase! Just paid an extra 7.99 (the wedding event)&(it went up from 4.99) to not be able to finish because they were 4,000 a piece and I got stuck on levels over and over! But when the special board ends I beat the level the first time! So that’s not rigged at all!!!!!!!! 😡😭 Then when I first started playing it said you earn one star for basic level, two stars for difficult levels, three stars for the extreme level games. Well that lasted maybe 2 months of me playing and that just disappeared! But I do love to renovate the houses (on the Burrow castle now) but I will not be buying anything extra anymore for this game because I’m not getting anything out of buying the extra stuff they are just getting my money!

Too difficult—stopped being fun. I’ve been playing the game for awhile now (I’m mid-600’s) and I have to say the game has stopped being fun. I just don’t think I’m the game’s target audience. I want to be able to solve a puzzle in a few tries—ten at most—but when it takes 20, 30, or more attempts to solve one puzzle I’m bored and annoyed. And these are the base puzzles, not even the hard or super hard puzzles. What is especially annoying, is when you realize that that if you don’t get a certain amount by done by say move ten you can’t solve the puzzle. So why should I bother with the next twenty moves? It’s a waste of my time. I just want a puzzle that is challenging, but not one that is going to take a week to solve. I don’t get that feeling like I’ve accomplished some great goal because I finally solved a puzzle; I just feel annoyed that it took so long and do I need to take a break with another game before long, slog has to happen. It be one thing if it happened once in awhile, but it happens all the time. Also you can’t even plot a real game strategy since too many of the puzzles are two or three separate screens. Sadly, just too many of the puzzles REQUIRE you to use boosts or spend coins for just one or two more moves to solve them in a timely matter. Sooooo many times I’m out of moves where I needed just one more move to win. This happens so often it just feels rigged. The art work is nice. The decorating is fun, I wish it didn’t take so much time on monotonous puzzles to get to the fun part.

This isn’t what the ads say. PLEASE READ BEFORE DOWNLOADING!!! Let’s be honest, I only rated this 5 stars so people would see this. Please read this and think about what you really wanted the app for. The ads say you get to save a family, but in reality, you only get to save a family in a dream level that only happens like every 25 levels, it’s stupid, because people want to downloads the app, bc the ads advertise it as a fun game that saves a family with key things or whatever. This is just like Royal Match, another scam ad game, like, even the pictures about the app mostly prioritize on the family thing, I only saw one picture of the actual matching part, you could go for like 50 levels, and only be able to buy a pot for the house, I do think this is a stupid game, and I’m surprised I came across it again in an ad, it reminded me to write a report. So why not. Literally no one wasn’t to download an app that’s COMPLETELY different from the ads, they got it because the ads looks like it was a good game, the ads should talk about the game, not about some fake thing that hardly ever happens. An alternate game name is escaped from the home, you hardly ever pay attention to the house, and the dream levels aren’t even about a mom with kids, and fighting agains some rich people, it’s only really about the guy. For a simple review: False advertisement Creators: So, if you read the rest of the review you can tell I really don’t like the ads, please do change the ads, change the game, or give more info about the dream levels, no one wants to get an app that doesn’t even do what they want, that’s the purpose of the ads, to show what people GET to do, that’s why they get the app, the ads should show the actual game, not what hardly happens

Fun but beware and no customer service team. The developers have made some challenging stages to surely keep you on your toes. The over all game is really thought out I have to give them that for sure. The side missions they have on the game is pure greed most things you click on are 12-15 energy then there is spot that take the whole 100 energy they give you. Nothing at any point should be more then 3-8 energy. There are spots where you can use gold to blow spots up for 1500 gold that’s outrageous considering you get very little after every frame that you complete in the normal game. Now going back to normal play after each time you beat a frame they give you very little in gold in return. If you get down to one or two more things to get for that level you can continue for 900 gold takes for ever to save 900 gold. They do this because they will sell you more the game don’t always have to be about sales. Then there is some players that get to watch videos for extra things in game but most don’t have that option. It should be available to everyone. Now comes to customer service part of the game it’s horrible you have to search and search in hopes to find a service member. I’ve not been that lucky yet. If the developers were to make it that you got more gold and energy on side quests and have a better way to connect with support I would definitely give this app 5 stars SOME CUSTOMERS CAN WATCH ADS THAT SHOULD BE MADE AVAILABLE TO EVERYONE. SHOULD BE ABLE TO TALK TO A REAL PERSON IN CUSTOMER SERVICE NOT A BOT WITH ONLY A FEW ANSWERS

What needs to be improved 😐. This is a addicting game anyone can like it. But I have complaints. First, its hard to beat the candy crush like level also ... the thing I really don’t like about this app is the reason I got it. The reason I got it was cause the “add” for homescapes actually looked like a lot of fun. But this game is nowhere near what the add for it was like. Look I don’t want your chance of getting this game to go just because I wrote this review . But I was just like you I wanted this game but honestly I deleted it two days after I got it . Sorry if I’m being mean cause I don’t like mean reviewers but honestly this is not a game I want especially if I can get better games than this and trust me, there will be better games out there . But don’t stop reading this review yet if you want to know other things . Last but not least , there are a bunch of adds that are bad and if your a Christian, you may either want to be careful to not watch these adds or just to look for a better game . Actually there’s one last thing , you pay like fifty diamonds to get one life on the candy crush like part of the game but you only get like 1 every time you complete something that the tell you to do . And that’s another thing , they tell you to do like 50 things at once. But that’s all my complaints and ... I’ll be watching to see if this game gets better 🤓 cause I know it will someday. This is one of God’s children sighning out😀 P.s. can there be a search on these reviews? Please I’m trying to find my friend’s but ... there’s A THOUSAND

I love it. The game was so much fun with the puzzles. I love building the house in the garden area. It was really awesome and I love the short little mini where you have to save the people games and times I spent I was trying to be a rebel but then I eventually beat it. I love the blue energy game game. It’s really fun, I don’t get any ads which is awesome and I love the disco balls .It’s much funner than Candy crush I downloaded it because my mom had it and it was really fun. But I don’t know why do you need to waste your stars for dumb things like calling a person or talking to someone or solve a riddle but I love how much fun challenging, relaxing thing and I am the puzzles cells and the mini games and energy game. It’s really really really fun love it but I was just wondering if you could have a little mini game section just for the mini games where you need to save the people plus the really fun spot and I want them to be a little bit more challenging and where you get to like rebuild the house or something thing and unlock doors make the mini games a little bit more funnier and I would also like a more variety to choose from with decorating or maybe design furniture or maybe have my own avatar tour star that I can design and make my own outfits but overall, it’s a really fun game I love it. 😍😃

Don’t Waste Your Time. I’ll start this off with, it REGULARLY glitches, makes you lose boosters and screws up your levels if your phone locks in the middle of a level by accident or crashes.. it will make you lose ALL boosters and restart the level entirely. I reported this and a double plane booster issue THREE times yesterday and all they did was explain how the double planes are SUPPOSED to work. I KNOW HOW THEY ARE SUPPOSED TO WORK. They fly over the screen and SHOULD add two planes to the board to use on the level. When I used my only double plan booster I had, they flew over the level and didn’t apply. Their support hasn’t done anything but say that it should’ve done that and not helped me at all. I’ve found pages and websites of people reporting similar things like this. They’ve honestly lost a player with this. I can’t and won’t spend what should be relaxing free time with a game, getting irritated because it’s not working correctly and what’s supposed to be support, won’t actually read what people are reporting, or actually helping them and then they close messages before we can say if it’s resolved or not. If it’s not, yet they have closed the messages anyways, then there’s a limit we can try to report to get someone who may actually care or know what they’re doing. The same thing happened with gardenscapes. I waited years to try this one hoping it be different, and it almost was. But this app is just as dysfunctional and support is even more unhelpful somehow.

Fun but where are the mini-games. So you basically follow a story in a sense. You have a mom and a dad and their son is their Butler for some reason. There are a bunch of mix-and-match games that sort of remind me of candy crush. Each level you finish you can decorate one of the items in the house. First you start off with an item costing you one star or one level of the game. As time moves on it takes you beating more games in order to get something done in the game. First an item takes one star and then later it takes you three. Fine whatever I still have a good time with it. There are just a few issues I have. On every ad I’ve seen for this game on other games it shows these cute little miniature games where the lead character Arthur who is the butler guy is outside in a tent with a woman. They are cold so you have to make a decision if you’re going to use a space heater or fire. Depending on what you pick some kind of tragedy can happen and then they give you another option. The mini game is mentioned in the first photo of this app. But where is it? The games that they show you on the advertisements for this game don’t exist unless they exist in a level that’s way higher than I am. I’m currently at 836. Sometimes there is no rhyme or reason why you cannot pass a level but I’ve learned if you stop playing for a while and come back play a game then leave again and come back miraculously you will solve the puzzle. I’m assuming only that it’s not by chance because they want you to spend money on the game and if you’re not playing you’re not gonna do that.

Very hard. I sorta like this game, it is fun and challenging, a little too challenging. Once you get farther into the game, it starts getting REALLY hard. I’m ALWAYS using boosters, and their never helping me. You only get a certain amount of lives before you have to wait for more. The levels are really hard. I’ve been stuck on levels for weeks. Currently I’m on one level that I’ve been trying to beat for 3 weeks. I get that it’s meant to be hard, but I never thought this hard. I can’t move on with the game! I try to beat a level, then I fail. I try again, then I fail. I use boosters, and all they do is the opposite of helping me, so I fail again. I try again, and again, and then the 6th time I try, I realize I have no more lives, and I have to wait 20 minutes. The 2 most FRUSTRATING things are 1. I can’t move on with the game!! I can’t go to the next level until I beat the one I’m on. It could take you days, it could take you weeks. 2. The boosters DONT help. Yes, every once in a while they will help but when you need them most, they don’t get you closer to winning. If you are INCREDIBLY good at games like this go for it, but no matter how good you are, you will find MANY bumps in the road. If you are someone like me who is pretty good at it, I’m not sure I recommend this to you because of all the trouble I’ve had, and the money I’ve spent to get more boosters that I realize now, don’t help. If you are someone who isn’t very good at all at these games, I do NOT recommend this to you, you will just fail over and over and over again.
