The hook. So I’m stuck in the first level every time I fire the hook instead of turning the right way and hooking the place I need to hook I turn around and face the wrong way it’s very frustrating.

NOT Free!!. If I had known that this ‘free’ app is only free to play the first few levels I never would have downloaded it. You can play the first round of levels only. In the second round of levels you can only continue if buy the app!! No thanks!

Ads keep freezing; can’t play game. Don’t download this. The video ads freeze every time, and you have to close the app and reopen. Then you run out of ads and can’t play anymore.

Great game; one needed fix. The game is great! Anyone who likes casual exploration, puzzle-solving, and adventure will love this trek through the world of Skyfish. One fix: The ads aren’t too overwhelming and are more than fair for the free version of the game, however many of the ads have a glitch. They are oriented in portrait (the game is landscape) and thus hides any way to continue the game. The only way to work around is to close the game and reopen it hoping to get a landscape ad next time. Please fix this! It’s not good for your advertisers either as it blocks you from seeing the whole ad.

Ad Support is Terrible. Avoid 🙄

Ads aren’t closeable. You wait the 30 seconds, and the apps don’t close. Even if you click on the ad nothing happens. So basically you do the two intro levels and then that’s the game. You can’t access anything else.

Ads are intentionally oriented wrong. Game tries to force you to pay the money and watch more videos to keep playing. Total scam!

Ads Issues. I would love to try the game out but I can get past the first round of ads. It’s on an infinite loop ♾ and won’t let me get past it. I would probably end up paying for the game if I saw a little bit more to see if it’s going to get harder or not.

Its a zelda ripoff.. This is a ABSOLUTE RIPOFF of legend of zelda and im not even a fan of the legend of zelda and whoever actually gets this game to play should be ashamed of themselves

It’s a trick. Eventually you’ll have to buy the game. There is no way to “close the ads”. So you have to close the game. They didn’t do this on accident:) the only way to keep playing is by buying the game for 4.99. On a side note... It’s worth the money

Won’t let me use the ad to play next level. I’ve tried a bunch of times to play the ad so I can get to the next level and the way the ad is shown on my screen I’m unable to hit any X because it’s not shown on screen. I was only able to play two levels before it did that. If I was able to play a few more and see if it becomes more difficult I may have bought the game but not from playing two small very easy boards.

Can’t play due to ads bug. Would have paid to get the ad free version if I could have evaluated the ad based game first. If the developers can’t manage to sense screen resolution and orientation, or even address review bugs then no money from me.

Fix your ads!!! Edit. I’m not saying this to be a troll or anything of the sort. But you give the option to watch an ad to unlock content, then let me hit the X to close it. The way the ad shows up is sideways and I can’t even see the X. Closing the game and reopening doesn’t solve the problem and neither does screen lock. It is a great game but if you make a free version with ads, be practical. I hope it wasn’t an intentional addition to make people buy the game. EDIT: I now see some ads do work, while others do what I stated above. Still. Ads should work, they’re annoying enough as it is.

Ads prevent you from playing. Downloaded the app. Enjoyed levels 1&2 but can’t even get to level 3. Ads block entire screen so even if you watch, you can’t close them so you can’t advance. Closed game, tried again, watched ad, same thing happens. Did this 3 other times before I just deleted the game. It might be a fun little game/diversion had I played longer I might have bought - but now there’s no chance. It’s a useless app guaranteed to cause you frustration. Not worth your time.

Try to get you to double pay!. Somehow, the Skyfish game that I bought and play frequently disappeared from my phone. I re-downloaded from the cloud, and it wants me to pay again or suffer watching their promo vids. I emailed the company, with no response or help. Typical these days

Zelda Rip-off. This looks exactly like The Legend Of Zelda series and has the same controls!

Ads ruin this game. The ads don’t stop and there is no way to get out of them. DO NOT DOWNLOAD.

Ads mess up the gameplay. I’d give a higher rating, but the ads mess everything up. They are most often oriented in portrait instead of landscape. This means they can’t be closed. If you restart the game in hopes of having a landscape ad, it rarely happens. You’ll also lose an ad watch to be able to play the game. I’ve noticed other reviews with this same issue. Still no fix.

Problem. Great game but the whole add thing? I watch the add and they don’t play in landscape so you can’t x them out. I feel like it’s purposeful as the other option is to buy the full version. But this game isn’t worth money.

Ads Ruin it All. When playing you are promoted to either buy or watch a video ad but you can’t close the video ad because it plays upright when the game is in landscape. You can’t x it out when done and a hard close makes you do it all over again. So I’m stuck and deleting it now as another useless game. Don’t waste your time on this one.

Don’t waste your time.. Decent game but, when the ads come up, there’s no way of closing after the ads and it just loops. Developers purposely do this to generate revenue. Apple should remove this app.

A copy of a game. This game is not good not only is it boring it’s also a copy of The Legend Of Zelda just read the title of this game and then you play you realize this game is not good

Not worth it. The game has a few bugs that made me die when I shouldn’t have and then I have to buy the full version to keep on playing.

Perfect. I got this game looking for a LOZ nock off and I was satisfied. It’s not really like the LOZ, but it have what a good adventure game should little quests and a few relics that the game uses throughout the game to solve puzzles. Amazing!

Underrated Game. The game has great graphics, offers smooth puzzle solving gameplay and is a fun game overall. It’s a shame more people don’t know about it.

Ad BS. Game is pretty fun but holy f if you’re going to limit how much someone can play with X amount of watchable videos than make sure the stupid fing things are VISIBLE TO x OUT OF!!!! The game is in landscape; stands to reason the ads would be too OR if they’re in portrait they are COMPLETELY VISIBLE. 1-Star until you fix this. Not even playable otherwise. Update: Now it says “no videos; recharge in A:AA” Seriously dumb $(&;$;&: $@)@( going to just uninstall this bs and be done with it.

What happened to The Legend of Skyfish 2?. Please bring The Legend of Skyfish 2 back to the App Store. It’s my favorite mobile game. No question. And now it’s just not available? But this game still is? Why? I’m sorry but this one is just ok. It’s a bit bland and repetitive - especially after you’ve played the sequel. But you can tell it’s the blueprint of a great game. Please bring back The Legend of Skyfish 2. I really miss it 🙏🏻

Not free. Lots of long ads after short levels

Fix the bugs. The ads open up sideways and u can’t close it because the x isn’t where u can see it. Fix the problem get higher rating. Otherwise I’m just gonna delete.

Fix the ads and I’ll give five stars. All but one of the ads that I have watched in this game are portrait view... the game is in Landscape view... these means you can’t find the X button to exit the advertisement. So you can’t play the game. Simple hit fix and everybody will love the game!

I can’t play. For some reason i can’t play the game because it keeps crashing and sending me to the home screen. Please fix this

Can’t believe it’s not all 5 star reviews. Love this game. The gameplay itself is the best part, simple mechanics but they keep the levels getting harder and a challenge but never frustrating. LOVE that it’s beatable, it actually ends and stays different and amping up the challenge enough to be enjoyable by the end. I would have taken twice as long of a game, but I’m glad I beat it. I’m very glad I played it. It’s just great. Love the music, character design, simple but unique feeling story.

Ads can’t close. I needed to cancel game every time an add played, due to the X not being visible on screen.

Fun, but ads prevent playing get past level 2. I want to play more, but I’d like to play more than 2 basic levels before deciding if this is worth paying for. Unfortunately, there is no way to close the video ad that plays to let you play more levels so it just repeats and repeats. Pity.

I agree with other reviewers. There is a major glitch after the 3rd level where the ad has no exit button, but plays over and over again. The game play is cute and the cost of the full game is less than $6 so pretty inexpensive… but even so it didn’t “hook” me well enough to want to pay for an ad free experience. Otherwise, it’s a very well developed game and that’s a huge achievement. I think the developer should look at either fixing the glitch or offering more incentive to make players want to buy the game.

Please read. I really enjoyed the game, or rather what I got to play of it. I was able to play 2 levels before it asked me to pay or watch an ad to continue. This is fine, however after trying to watch an ad over about 7 different occurrences, the video was always sideways so that the close button was offscreen and all I could do was close the game. I’ve wasted a lot of time watching videos hoping it will let me close the video at the end but it never has. Please fix this, or remove the watch ad option.

INSANE GAME. This game is sooooo good! Only downside is you have to watch ads with every level you complete, but it’s honestly not much of a price to pay at all! The game is worth the ads !

Good game -terrible ads. Have to watch an ad to play next level. Every single ad just plays on a loop with no way to close it. Can’t help but think this was intentional. Likely will delete the game due to this.

Fun game. Fun game but it won’t let you pass it without paying. It lets you play around 15 levels for free, and even then you have to wait 4 hours between watching ads to play another level. Then in world two it just stops and asks you to buy it. But at this point I’m buying like half a game that I already watched a bunch of ads on … and it’s just that I’m incredibly, incredibly cheap.

Ads wall is a scam?. After the first 2 levels it asks you to watch an add which is un-closable and then it just infinitely repeats?? I’ve never seen an ad repeat before, surely this can’t be an accident. Theres also a review on here from back in December saying the same thing and it still hasn’t been fixed? remove that option instead of tricking people into watching ads under false pretences.

Pretty good but glitchy. Sometimes when you have some hearts and you lose just one, you die! That's because you lose them in the wrong order. It's supposed to be the one on the farthest right, then the next one on the farthest right and so on until they're all gone, then you die. Well sometimes the far left heart disappears first, and you die immediately even if you have a bunch of hearts. Every now and then the whole game freezes, and has to be shut down, but it's not often enough to be really annoying. The developer wants you to create n account if you want support, so I'm hoping they just read this post instead. I'm hoping they must read this instead. The game despite the glitches is quite addictive.
