My First TeleDoc Visit. I had a minor medical situation requiring a doctor visit. I’m in a new town and have not established a primary physician relationship. I used this service and loved it! The process was thorough and I believe I received an excellent care plan. I loved this experience. This is how modern medicine should be done for minor doctor visits in the post-Covid world. It’s safer, more convenient and cheaper for all parties involved. The world is well served by digital professional services! Thank you for creating this wonderful care portal! Frank Waugh Southern Pines, NC

Waste of time. Worst doctors! I used this ap to try to get a refill that didn’t happen. I ended up going to push health and got it refilled. Second time using this app I was wanting to get antibiotics for my sons ear infection, I looked inside his ear with an otoscope and it was really red. This is not his first ear infection. The dr said to get him tested for covid. What?! He had an ear at infection not covid. He has really bad allergies that causes fluid in his ears. Well it caused an ear infection in his left ear. The dr said it is probably a cold causing the redness in the ear and will go away in a few days. I told her no it’s an ear infection and he needs antibiotics . She wouldn’t help. I took him to his pediatrician she confirmed the ear infection and prescribed antibiotics. I was hoping the app would of been useful but it’s a joke along with the crappy drs.

Waste of Time and Money. The doctor’s on this service are extremely condescending. They also apparently can only treat any illnesses or infections once, so you’re paying $120 a year plus a $1 a visit to receive absolutely no help. My most recent visit, I wasn’t even looking for a prescription or treatment. I sent details and pictures of the area of concern and all I wanted was advice on whether or not I needed to be seen in person. The doctor rudely told me that he couldn’t help because I was treated for the same thing 7 months ago. He said to continue to do the things I was already doing to treat the problem. No other advice given. Turns out I have a massive infection in my lymph node and needed to be out on antibiotics immediately. No testing done at urgent care, I was simply diagnosed by my symptoms and the doctor looking at the are. Same I provided to the DR in this service. What is the point of this service if they can’t actually treat or diagnose you.

Hmm. It’s ok. So I’ve used this app twice. The first time I had a definite ear infection. Was told to use saline nasal spray. When a I explained (again) that this had been going on for several weeks, at home treatments, etc. she finally agreed to prescribe antibiotics. This quickly cleared up the infection. The second “visit” I awoke to a super sore throat and white spots on my tonsils. Was told it might be strep throat but they couldn’t diagnose strep - that I could go to the minute clinic. Well, no kidding. If I had time to go a minute clinic, I wouldn’t be using this service. Then I was told it could also be a variety of other ailments, no offers of what it could be or how to treat, what symptoms to watch for, etc. When the visit was over, I received an after care list saying I had been diagnosed with strep throat! But no help, no prescription. So... Total waste of time (and money). I almost feel like the doctors are told not to prescribe anything unless there’s no way around it, and you’re just kind of brushed off. I realize I can go to an actual doctor’s office, but isn’t that the point of paying for this service?

Diagnosed and prescribed treatment for rosacea in a matter of minutes. I had a nagging suspicion for months that I had rosacea on my cheek, but didn’t want to spend the time or money to go to the doctor if that wasn’t the case. While at home one weekend, I was able to chat with a doctor who, after seeing the requested photo of my cheek, was able to diagnose me with rosacea and had a prescription sent to my pharmacy. It was so helpful to be able to clear up and receive treatment for an issue that had been bothering me for months in just a matter of minutes.

1st visit. Felt like the doctor could have been more understanding of my history with the condition that I presented her, I have a history of the condition but she had to follow “protocol “ and basically couldn’t help me with something as simple as tonsillitis, I’ve experienced it since childhood and am well aware of what is going on I even sent a photo clearly showing swollen glands and spots and still was of no help. I will not use this service again, I could only imagine if it was something more serious it would be a waste of time just like this was. Just another way for the insurance to get charged for a additional visit if you ask me…

Super convenient, makes getting help easy!. I have used this service multiple times for a variety of things (stomach flu, foot pain, random questions) and each time I am amazed by how easy it is to use! I absolutely hate going to the doctor for things I think are trivial or that I’m just going to be asked to make another appointment next week to “check back in” and waste another 3 hours of my life, so 98point6 has been a great solution for me to actually get in touch with a doctor (and limit anxiety doing so!). Now the “check back in” part of getting care, if I’m not feeling better, takes 15 minutes, not half my day. Never once has a 98point6 doctor I’ve talked to made me feel silly for asking a question or not knowing information, and each time I learn something that I never have time to ask my actual doctor about in our annual 10 minute check in. Overall 11/10, would recommend. I tell all my friends to use this whenever they are sick at home or not feeling well at work, seriously try it out.

Amazing Healthcare at Your Fingertips!. This service associated with this app is absolutely amazing! I have already recommended it to several of my friends and family. 24hr care and each of the doctors I have encountered have been truly thorough, professional and really make you feel like your concerns are valid no matter what they are! If your insurance allows you to have it and utilize it, you absolutely should. Make it a great day!

The best!. This app is everything! The subscription cost alone is minimal and worth every penny. Not to mention it’s only $1 for each visit. So the app itself is pretty great and very easy to use. Speaking to a doctor is a breeze. You give a bit of information as to what’s going on and then you wait in the comfort of your home (or wherever) for the doctor to see you. You can do other things while you wait which is a huge bonus. Everything is through text so no need to worry about video chat and looking presentable. I needed labs done and a new prescription. Everything was completed through the app. No need to go to an office and worry about catching someone else’s sickness. As I said, this app is everything!

Not very useful. This app is offered through my insurance for free. Which is helpful since I don’t get a copay option to visit any primary care physician. Let me just say that this is where technology draws the line - getting healthcare over text (which is their primary communication method) seems ineffective. For a start, the amount of intake questions they ask you before you’re connected to an actual provider is insane. I quit the app on multiple occasions because I was annoyed at answering the questions. Another thing is there are limited situations that would warrant discussing a medical issue over text. You might be ok with a very mild issue like a cold or season allergies but even then you would typically just get something over the counter from a store. I would only recommend this as a resource to get general questions answered about health, not to receive treatment.

Amazing Service!!!. This was my first time using 98Point6 as it was a new benefit offered by my employer. Although sick I really liked this text app service. No waiting. I was at work and utilized the service during my morning break and was done before my break was over. Dr. McCormick was caring, thorough, knowledgeable and didn’t rush me; and was more than happy to answer all of my questions. I definitely will be utilizing this service in the future and highly recommend it to others.

I never leave reviews BUT.... This app totally deserves one. It’s amazing. Instant access to incredible doctors 24/7. They’re patient, kind, willing to answer any question you have. I’ve received more thorough care from this app than any doctor I’ve ever visited in person. $20 for the first year and $120/year after that? It’s a no-brainer for me even with insurance (office visit copay is $25-30). I love that it’s text based. It makes it so much easier to communicate your health issues without embarrassment. I can’t recommend 98point6 enough!

Great Experience!. Efficient and effective. No navigation necessary, as the app does all the work for you. Asks questions, and retrieves all additionally needed information to provide a resolution, or a care plan. The “bot” is quick, and thorough, and once you are paired with a doctor in your state (after just a few minutes from the time you submit the problem), they are also quick and thorough, while courteous and empathetic. Will definitely use again and again.

Helpful Easy Service. Given the current circumstances, I really didn’t want to go into my primary care office for a check up. It was a small issue, and my sister had just tried this app, so I gave it a shot too. Info took a few minutes to input but I didn’t feel they were asking for ‘too much’. I requested an appointment, was paired with a doctor in my state, and was told my insurance would fully cover the visit. Quickly, I was in a chat room with a professional. The doctor I got was amazing and answered all my questions easily. I could tell she was putting thought into her answers and not just copy/pasting some sort of script into the chat. She asked me a few questions, and gave me her professional opinion, like at a regular office. This is a really helpful service not only for people during a pandemic, but people who have agoraphobia or physical disabilities that make it difficult to leave the house. You’d obviously need to go somewhere if you broke a bone or needed bloodwork or something, but this for colds and questions like mine (mainly medication detox symptom worries, lol) is just so convenient. Way easier than trying to make an appointment with my normal doctor for the same thing.

My inflammation on ears back. This was my first time using the app. Dr. Patel was recommended. Because of the irritation of infection on my ears’ auricles, I woke up at 3:30am in the morning. A friend recommend me to use virtual doctor. And I did. That’s really AWESOME! I am a foreigner, and have no insurance. The doctor is licensed and is available 24/7. The process took about 5-10 minutes, after I answered personal question and described my symptoms, the AI guided me to pair a doctor. Then the doctor briefly videotaped about my symptom. And prescribed medication online to my nearest CVS. All done! It is 5:45 am in the morning. I can just wait until CVS opens and go to collect the medication. Thanks for the 98point6 app. It helped me!

Excellent first time experience. I originally tried to get an appointment at a local clinic but no appointments we available. My wonderful wife suggested I use my telemedical service provided by my work. I downloaded the app and after initial information was input, the Dr came on a quick video chat as required by my state and then we texted through the rest of the appointment. I was quick and efficient and now I can go pick up my medication at my pharmacy. All this from the comfort of my home. Amazing and so easy.

Helpful. Getting through the testing and questions can be frustrating when feeling like you want to talk with someone immediately. But really it’s just like a 15minuts effort which is excellent compared to an office visit. I can’t actually see this review as I type, but the doctor was helpful and answered our questions. We were directed to still call our child’s primary care physician during business hours, but we were assured we didn’t need to panic and she helped us understand the level of urgency - in our case low thankfully!

Getting worse over time. My partner has used this for a few years now as primary care for a well managed chronic condition because he’s uninsured and we’re poor but don’t qualify for Medicaid. At first it was great. Even though he gets a new provider at every visit, they’re typically decent enough and he’s been able to avoid hospital visits and complications of his conditions. Lately, though, the care has been sub-par. He gets shamed by the doctors for not having a doctor to see in person, even though his condition is well managed and he’s told them he can’t afford any other care. We pay out of pocket for routine labs and do everything they ask, but each appointment makes him feel worse than the last. They also act like they’re going to cut him off and stop treating him any day now, which would likely trigger permanent harm and complications due to lack of access to his maintenance meds, which are safe and he’s been using for many years. It’s time to start shopping around for a new telemedicine service.

Extremely convenient. We have used 98point6 a handful of times now for myself and my son. The doctors are always so helpful and thorough. Each time they have answered any questions we have and gave such great info. So nice to not have to wait for an appointment with a doc in person, and drag my kids there when they don’t feel well. The app is very user friendly. I especially love the transcript care plan that you can refer back to with the doctors note and suggestions. I Absolutely recommend this service!

Signed up & mislead same day. I needed a 3-day gap prescription of medication, requiring a televisit & submitting my prescription to the pharmacy. After downloading & signing-up for the “98point6” membership, the app was stuck where it required my profile to contain a pharmacy. I searched for support and left 2-messages, at non-human alternatives, unable to start a session because the app doesn’t allow you to progress until your profile contains your pharmacy preference. 4-hours later, miraculously, the app let me choose a pharmacy. From there I submitted my medical issue. The doctor was very kind and supportive but couldn’t help me a bit because not only could she NOT prescribe scheduled medicines by a required tele-visit, she couldn’t submit the prescription to a pharmacy without an approval to submit electronically. I wasted the entire time and effort from the beginning moment I believed this app was a solution. PROCEED WITH CAUTION; READ EVERYTHING; I DID AND SEE WHERE I LANDED?

Amazing, Thorough and Fast. This video doctor visit was more thorough than my last 2 office visits. The doctor had read all of my history and current issues, so she came into the video consult well prepared and asked meaningful and insightful questions, getting to the root of the issue quickly and efficiently. I am incredibly impressed and have to point out that this is certainly a positive to come out of our current social distancing edict. I would never have dreamed of a video consult had It not been for current events. Thank you to everyone who made this possible and those who are making it work!

Convenient and well worth the the cost in the first visit. Such an ease to use and amazingly affordable. The doctors are great and polite. Very inquisitive and are quick to get you a diagnosis. I’ve used this for a variety of family needs in the last 6 months from the flu, a cold, random rashes, and a pinched nerve in my arm. They’re great to get you answers and relief with either video conference or photos and text. I would highly recommend this app to anyone, especially those who don’t want to waste time in an expensive quick care or ER for an ear infection at 2:00AM. Instead, you’ll have a prescription sent to the nearest pharmacy in a matter of 20 minutes to an hour!

Great service!. This is a great service—they are timely, thorough, and helpful—when I have an issue and can’t get to my primary, they are no 1! They do intake and then have a dr come on— there is a camera if you need to show your ailment—I have used it to show pinkeye, a rash etc…they will call a prescription into pharmacy if needed—Dr will also tell you if you need to see your Dr in person-I can’t say enough good things about this service

Professional and caring!. We met with Amy today. As a parent that has tried several things to help their child, it is good to have someone that can provide additional advice, and care/empathize at the same time. Amy related what we were dealing with to herself in a caring and personal and professional way. We will definitely be using the service in the future, and, we hope Amy is our provider when we do.

A waste of time. I gave this app 3 tries and all ended in poor outcomes. 1st time I was waiting for an hour or so and never received a notification to meet with a doctor. I gave it another try when my daughter had an eye infection and needed antibiotics. The physician advised to apply ice to her eye and go into the doctors office if it got worse, she would not write a prescription. The third time, my daughter had an allergic reaction in her eye with severe swelling, she needed steroids but the physician refused to write a prescription and advised to use otc meds which we had already tried. We ended up having to go to an urgent care and the physician there wrote a prescription for steroids. If you enjoy wasting your time then this app is for you.

Super easy 24 access to a real doctor. I am grateful that the nurse on call suggested I could try this app as a way to see a doctor within the next 24 hours Without the app I wouldn’t have been able to follow through on her recommendation. Getting signed up was very easy and it is covered by my health insurance. I’m considering staying with this health insurance during open enrollment Because I really like this service

For Emergencies Dial 911 for other stuff try 98.6. I of course wouldn’t try and use this service for anything emergency-like - it clearly isn’t meant for that. But the ability to send pictures, the fact that they verify your identity via a brief (mine was literally 1 minute) video introduction, and the thoroughness if the provider truly made me feel like I was getting a genuine medical experience. The ease of getting an appropriate prescription without having to haul myself and my child to the doctors office -especially in this time of social distancing- is invaluable.

Doctor chat. Appears to be primarily for being able to communicate with a doctor. Did not get what I needed and was directed to make an appointment with my primary care physician anyways. My primary care physician is not seeing in person appointments at this time due to covid-19 which is why I decided to pursue this option. Was told I needed a strep test from my primary care physician when I provided a picture of my throat. Again, understand you want to avoid overprescribing antibiotics but I am a person who takes antibiotics maybe once every 5-10 years and again, do not have the option for an in person visit with my primary care physician at this time due to the corona virus.

Great experience!. Wow, what a great experience! I had no idea this service existed, but I’m sure glad I do now. When my employer failed to provide health insurance benefits and I needed to see the doctor, I panicked. A typical doctor’s visit in my city costs around $100. With my insurance it would have been a high copay. That’s when I started looking for alternatives and ran across 98point6. In the span of a few days I spoke with two doctors, got my blood tested, a prescription issued, and started treatment. This took less time than scheduling and getting an appointment with a doctor in person. Obviously if it’s an emergency you should call 911. But for normal doctor visits and questions, I’m very glad I found 98point6! Thanks!

Poor Virtual Care. Working in health care and having used other virtual and tele-health companies ( so I have several prior experiences to compare ) and this was by far the worst experience. The doctor was not engaged and was directed my plan of care prior to even reading my responses - I have had sinus infections my entire life and I am very in tune with my body- I know what It takes to get a quick recovery- To tell me to wait it out and drink water and take OTC meds when i have been doing that plus other things is a bit insulting- I don’t reach out to doctors unless i have a need and this doctor wasn’t interested in my needs but rather ending the visit quickly and getting her pay for the visit. will let my insurance company know my disappointment and that they can probably now pay for an office visit and potentially more medical needs due to poor care provided. won’t be using this service and will let my CEO know as well

Affordable, but most importantly, easy and efficient!. I used 98point6 for the first time today for something I would have likely just suffered through if it meant taking the effort of going to my GP’s office. I created an account, input my symptoms, had a doctor diagnosing and treating me all within 15 minutes from the comfort of my bed. My doctors’ office/walk-in clinic and pharmacy visit would have taken me 1.5-2+ hours, not to mention the higher cost of needing care on the weekend. This service is invaluable!

Lousy experience. Chaotic, sloppy, rude. Terrible first experience. The first thing my doctor said? “You know, medicine is very pricey without insurance.” Awesome. Duh. Tell me something I don’t know. I didn’t sign up to be ridiculed for not having insurance. Then “the doctor” sends me a gigantic text with an enormous link to a coupon. What am I supposed to do with this? Before I can ask for an explanation, she sends another coupon for the same price, but less than 50% of the quantity. I explained that I wasn’t going to pay the same price for less than half of the product. She may as well have sent me the rolling eye emoji. She said she would now have to call the pharmacy and this would take 15 minutes. Which is weird, because the first transaction was instantaneous. Avoid. What a hassle. I can be treated badly by people via text for free.

SUCH A JOKE!. Used 98point6 because it was recommended by my employer as a quick, easy option to receive care for minor illnesses. I ended up with a D.O. that couldn’t even diagnose a simple skin infection! She told me to go to the emergency room! I was told by my insurance company to use this app for minor issues and was referred to the most expensive, worst possible place, especially during a pandemic!!! Isn’t that the point of this app??? Easy access to care for minor issues??? I ended up contacting another app, sent the same pictures and was prescribed the antibiotics I needed. The “doctor” I saw was incompetent to say the least. I will NOT be using this app again! A total waste of an hour... Response to developer: I see the developer responses are as incompetent as their providers, LOL! They are either lying to protect their image, or really as disorganized and ignorant as they appear to be... No, developer response person, I DEFINITELY used the 98point6 app! Please don’t try to insult my intelligence or yours by trying to discredit me because “doctors” on your platform are incompetent. I’ve never used AdvancedMD for care, I didn’t even know that was an option, but thanks for giving me an alternative to the crappy 98POINT6 app that I can use in the future.

Cheap price for cheap service. Doctor ignored my main issue which is coughing. The prescriptions were for sneezing and running nose which I don’t have. I didn’t realize that until late but I think that was because the doctor pushed too fast. Whole visit was done in less than 2 min. Now I’m doubting whether he really read all information I entered before the visit. He didn’t ask anything about any symptoms during the visit so I thought he was sure. Now thinking about it, it felt like he was just giving out suggestions based on computer result which he didn’t even evaluate. I can be wrong and I hope I’m wrong, but my issue was not really addressed and answered. And there’s not an option on the app to make complaints about doctors so I figured they would just expect me to leave a negative feedback so I did. I don’t recommend this app if you’re serious about your health.

This app is a joke. My company pays for this app, every doctor I have ever seen pretty much just tells you to sleep it off and/ or prescribes over the counter meds, they pretty much state in the terms before you are seen that they pretty much refuse to prescribe antibiotics or anything that actually treats your symptoms. Also, from my experience the physicians are not well qualified and don’t take your symptoms into consideration whatsoever. For example: I have had a sore throat for almost 2 weeks now and can never get to the doctors office because they work the same hours I do… I told the doctor my symptoms and told him that I have been taking antihistamines and nasal spray that have been working but my throat is still killing me; he proceeded to prescribe me the same antihistamines and nasal spray that I had already been taking none of which would help my throat whatsoever… It also takes a good 30-45 minutes to finish your appointment because it’s ALL texting. Long story short, Doctor On Demand is the way to go if you want a doctor who will actually take you seriously and respect your time.

1 star is too much. Used this to get a doctors note to quarantine after being exposed to Covid-19. Told the doctor my symptoms and that I was exposed, and she told me to go to a doctor in person. I used this service as I am paying out of pocket, do not have a primary doctor, and don’t have the funds or physical ability to go to a doctor right now as I am extremely ill. I was already tested for Covid-19, but was negative. I still have symptoms that are only getting worse so I know I need to quarantine. Complete waste of money and time. I wish I never used it in the first place. This was the third service I used and again had NO help. All I needed was a note so I prevent spreading any illness and to be covered at work, now I’m out of options and I’ll probably lose my job. I wish I could get a refund for spending $40 for nothing.

Out of refills during the pandemic!. I ran out of refills that I take daily. My Dr closed his office without notice and I would have to wait at least a week to be seen, due to the coronavirus. Mind you, this medication is for depression/anxiety and pain. Not a medication you want to run out of. I hoped on here and after a short wait I was connected with a Dr! The entire conversation only took a few mins! Super easy and quick! I now have a 2 month supply to get me through this pandemic until I can be seen by my Dr! Idk what I would have done without this app! Love it!

Very useful service!. I can’t recommend this app highly enough. I paid the discount offer of $20 and have already chatted with a doctor several times. I had some prescriptions filled and a bad sinus infection treated. The hours are extremely convenient, the service is fast but still personal and it’s very affordable. There are a few kinks that could be smoothed out but the pros heavily outweigh any cons. I especially love that it’s chat based instead of video calls.

Simple and Awesome. I don’t have insurance so $20 for a year is an unbelievable deal!! I’ve been sick for over a week and after doing a ton of research online and trying to find the best service for the best price I landed here. Within an hour I’ve already spoken to a doctor and got the meds I need. And to have the peace of mind to know that I can just pop on here any time in the next 12 months is truly priceless for someone on a tight budget with no insurance! I cannot thank the people who came up with this idea enough. Honestly, even the post-first-year price of $120/year is a deal. That’s only $10/month to see a doc anytime. I think I’ll be sticking with this app for the long haul. Once I’m no longer sick I’m looking forward to trying it for things like my birth control and getting back on thyroid meds. Thank you all so much!

What a wonderful idea. Tried this for the first time and I am so happy this is now an option in medicine. I was skeptical about how this would work but the video and photo uploading option make it possible. The Doctor was so easy to talk to and knowledgeable and, more importantly, she actually listened, which is unheard of with 99% of the doctors I’ve seen. Best part is you get a written report of what was discussed so no more trying to remember what that doctor said in the lightning-fast 5 minute visit. Highly recommend!

Greatly appreciated. I have tried all day to get my 6 year old son seen today. I could not get him In yesterday and with it being a Saturday today the only places near me where Urgent Cares which we’re wanting $100 upfront even with insurance. I felt defeated because I did not have the money at the time. I saw my insurance offered this app at $0 cost so I tried it. I’m so glad I did it was super quick and easy to use. We had a short video chat but most of it was by text. The doctor was very nice and helpful. She sent in a lot of useful information. He was diagnosed and sent in a prescription to the pharmacy of my choosing. Now my son can get better thanks to this app and the very appreciated doctors. It is a great app to use for adults and parents that are unable to drive or that just is having a hard time being seen by someone same day. The have doctors available every day of the week on this app. I’m so lucky to have used it. Thank you 98point6!

Quick and friendly service. I am very impressed with the app. I was connected with a doctor right away that was knowledgeable and friendly. All of the questions were relevant and we exchanged the photos that she needed to help better understand what I was going through. I was taken care of in a total of 20 minutes from start to finish from my home office. This gave me peace of mind that I can be taken care of in the future with any other arising medical issues. I highly recommend this app service.

Great promise!. Overall great! Suggestions: 1) First visit was longer than I had time to complete due to answering questions about allergies, medications, past medical history. I should have been able to enter these prior to the first visit in Settings where I entered my preferred pharmacy etc. 2) I was asked about seasonal flu shot at each of the two visits. This should be remembered from visit to visit. 3) I was instructed that I could leave the app and would be notified when to return, but using an iPhone and Apple Watch combination didn’t receive sound nor haptic notification to return to the app and was timed out of my first visit. Either the notifications need to be paired to sound and haptics and/or the instructions that the user can leave the app and will be notified need to be polished (e.g., change to “You can leave the app, but be on the look out for the notification to return and resume your session.”)

Feels better talking to a real Dr. instead of googling what terrible illness you don’t have.. I’ve used this app several times over the last couple of years and it’s been a lifesaver. I honestly enjoy going here for a quick opinion about something that might be a run of the mill cold, or even a more sensitive rash in a place you might not want to say in front of mixed company. 😬 The only piece of feedback I’d have is an option to get help for my two small kids. I’m sure it’s a common request that they’re working on, if not I’m glad to help out with my feedback. Thanks for your help!

Gone downhill. *Update* I found another app called K Health and it has been amazing so far… Get it instead of this one! *** This app used to be great and very helpful. I saved a lot of time treating minor things in the past years. Unfortunately now the doctors will just tell you to go to an urgent care if they think you need antibiotics. They are trying to avoid prescribing them so much so that they would rather avoid giving you a diagnosis even if it’s obvious. Not only that but also the yearly price is now astronomical compared to before. I will not be renewing and would not recommend for people to use it for anything other than if you have something that doesn’t require any real treatment.

Love this virtual health service!. I wasn’t able to drive today due to my equilibrium being off kilter with my ear and sinus infection. This virtual visit made it possible to “see” a doctor via video in less than 5 minutes! The attention to detail and live conversation to understand my symptoms and health history was outstanding and efficient! The doctor demonstrated genuine concern and quickly assessed my symptoms to diagnose my illness. A prescription was sent to the local pharmacy before the virtual session ended along with additional care instructions to improve my health. Great service all around in about 20 minutes! Highly recommended!!

Great for Students. I’m studying in a different state than my primary care provider and have slacked off on going to see the doctor because of this — especially when I know a visit for something minor will cost so much money. I had an minor illness come up that I knew from past experience I would need a prescription to fight, and I wasn’t sure how I was going to be able to get the care I need. I was able to download the app, chat with a doctor, share my previous prescription and get a new one sent to the pharmacist all within half an hour. I’m very impressed and will use this again for questions and other minor health concerns!

Great concept…could use better execution?. The app itself is a pretty good concept, however I feel that perhaps some of the doctors they work with could be better? I used the app for the first time today, answered the pre-“visit” questions (not bad there), and then when my virtual doctor joined, it was more or less the doctor messaging the entire time, not letting me really get a word in, and trying to push things on me without me getting to tell him what I was looking for as an end result. I told the doctor my issue and asked if it were possible for a script (nothing with painkillers or anything they aren’t allowed to prescribe), to which the doctor essentially ignored me and recommended things I have been doing to no avail throughout being sick. I informed the doctor that his advice was not something that was working, however I would give one of his solutions a try (it was clear he had no interest in helping me, as my primary care would have) and wrapped up the conversation asap. Again, I like the concept of this app; I think it’s a great idea…just not so much the staff that partners with the app. It all felt impersonal and like a quick cash grab.

Not really health care. All they do is recommend over the counter medication- if you want real help - you’ll still have to go into an office for basic antibiotic prescriptions. Update to first review; two days later - I’ve followed her recommendations and used all the OTC products and I’m still sick - zero improvement, some deterioration. I understand some people abuse antibiotics- but this doctor didn’t even talk to me other than to verify my name and birthday. If she had taken the time to speak with me over the zoom, she could have ascertained that I do in fact have a bacterial infection. Instead, she texted a very general, “one size fits all” recommendation. I think it’s a waste of money for business to use this service for their employees. Their doctor told me I had to be sick for at least 10 days for her to consider antibiotics. Update 2, woke up with severe conjunctivitis in my left eye. I was unable to open it because of hardened puss - a sign of a bacterial infection according to CDC.

This App is Awesome. I highly recommend this to anyone who has trouble getting in to see a doctor. Or anyone who needs help with symptoms they aren’t sure what so do about! These doctors are fantastic, and they help you to know what you should do at home,, as well as what should be done if your symptoms worsen. I would also recommend this to anyone whose college is covering it! That’s how o was able to get a plan. Healthcare can be hard in college, so this has been immensely helpful for me, so that I know how to take care of myself when something new crops up. Wait times are short and convenient for both parties, and the doctors are lovely. Highly recommend this to anyone and everyone who needs a medical app to evaluate their symptoms from home, and needs to chat with a medical professional.

Everything is Covid!!. I contacted 98point6 regarding sinus issues & ear popping. I have a long history of sinus infections. I told the dr this and all she kept bringing up was Covid!! I asked about antibiotic to treat my symptoms which is what my primary dr has always prescribed. She would not prescribe anything and even though she kept bringing up covid she ended up diagnosing me with a cold, recommended I quarantine for 10 days and did absolutely nothing for my issue!! I also had requested a dr’s note and she disconnected from my visit and never provided anything to me. A useless waste of my time while I wasn’t feeling good!

So easy..... I actually get to text with physicians while I’m sick, rather then waiting 3 days for an appointment with my primary provider who charges me more to come to them and wait again while I’m sicker. Prescription in 5 minutes to pick up. Perfect. Only thing better would be prescription delivery. Just a thought for you 98.6.... wouldn’t have to go anywhere sick.

Amazing. This visit using this app has been a game changer. I work 12 hour night shifts and feet I g into the doctor can be difficult so I usually try and nurse things along and it can takes it’s toll. Working in the ER, I don’t want to go for minor issues and just limp along allowing things to get worse before they get better. I am so appreciative for access to a provider with such accessibility and ease. Thank you very much, Raylene

Employee to patient. My boss gave me this app since I wasn’t feeling well. Very convenient as there is a winter storm outside and definitely didn’t want to drive in the snow. The doctor answered all my questions and sent my prescription to my nearest pharmacy so when I’m comfortable I can pick them up. Definitely recommend.

General review of the App and my visit with Dr Donna Woods. This was my first time using the 98.6 app. This could not have been a more efficient and results oriented visit. A few pieces of information answered by the app and followed up with by Dr. Donna Woods and I had a confirmation of my diagnosis and a prescription sent to my pharmacy. All within a few minutes. I would most definitely utilize this app again.

First time consult with 98.6. I had a cyst flare up and infected and I could not get a hold of my doctor due to what’s going on right now (pandemic) their office is probably closed - I thought about this feature that Premera introduced a few months ago. It’s amazing! I got a hold of a doctor, he asked several questions, I sent photo of affected area and he gave me prescription. This is so convenient and very effective! Thank you Premera for adding this platform!

98point6 delivers. I needed advice from a doctor regarding treating a skin condition. I downloaded the App, provided some information and was connected with a doctor within minutes. We discussed the symptoms, I provided some photos and was diagnosed and provided a treatment in about 30 minutes (I don’t type very fast). Very efficient, I didn’t needlessly risk exposure to other patients and completed this in the comfort of my home. Kudos to 98point6!

Scared doctors. These doctors are not allowed to prescribe much. They also are too busy “covering there behind” to be effective. I have medication that I have been taking for years with the care of primary care doctor. This past year I did not have insurance. I thought 98point6 could help, they did one time and then after that they recently refused to fill a blood pressure medication without labs being done. This is a medication that I need, and that I was always told to never just stop taking. Now I’m going to have to go try somewhere else ,98point6 will have me in the hospital before I know it.

Super Fan - this app is so helpful!. Thanks for this remarkable app. I’ve used it a number of times and have shared it with friends and family. No one has been disappointed. From the smallest of worry to some bigger stuff, the doctors are always so helpful, kind and thorough. And now during COVID19, I’m so relieved to have access to 98point6 from my home - or anywhere - to help me with any worries or concerns. Thank you for making this available - and it’s SO affordable.

Great app!. App said to wait 28 mins had to wait al title longer, but was notified when a doctor was ready to see me, it was a great experience and the doctor was very helpful and thankfully it’s a viral thing going around and should get better on its own with help from naproxen or Ibuprofen, if not he suggested in a day or 2 if not better go in to an urgent are to do a strep test, so overall I was very pleased with the service!⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Easy, Quick Medical Care all from home!. I love the ease of this app! You are able to connect with a local doctor and it makes the process of getting medical advice and care quickly. The last thing I want to do is sit in a doctors office or urgent care this time of year and possible catch a virus. I highly recommend the app and annual plan.

Convenient way to access a doctor!. This app allows people to access a doctor easily. Their board certified physicians provide good care anytime you need. This beats spending 2 hours waiting in a germ filled waiting room when you want to get treatment for your Illness. And soon I’ll be able to get my kids seen too while avoiding the pain of loading kids into the car, and waiting to see a pediatrician for something minor!

11:33 PM & Dr. G. Lee. Let me start off my saying how truly amazing this application is. 1. With the new year, we as humans are 10x busier than average. 2. Getting away from your desk, family, the closet you have organized is almost as debilitating as it is to NOT USE THIS APP. Painless, easy, safe & reassuring. I actually got to SEE my physician before we even discussed any business, he cared, let me vent via text & even helped me explore my options. Dr. Lee, practicing for 23 Year ( yup, we are getting SEASONED MDs who care as much as they did the day they took the job) walked me through what and where he could help, found me an additional contact in my area, provided contact information and BACK UPS if needed. So you tell me, need I say more? Didn’t think so, get the app & start your visit!!!

Horrible. Horrible service they charge $120 for an annual membership but the doctor doesn’t even listen to the patients actual symptoms and just want to tell them to take OTC. Apparently these online doctors know more about the patients sickness and body then the patients actually does. What’s the point of a online medical service if your not going to help. Will be demanding a refund as I was provide no service and will never use this again. Complete joke. This sounds like more of a money scam then actually providing exceptional service. Now I see why insurance companies are dropping these teledoc style services.

Terrific. This is a good way to see or visit with a doctor without it costing you, this experience was great for me, this app is useful for basic needs of health, if you have something really serious and immediate threatening you should go the the Hospital immediately but if you have something that you can sustain then this is a good bet to help you out. Easy questioning and text based evaluation and also video chat if needed. And friendly doctors

If your time is important, get this app. If you’re a young professional who doesn’t have time to schedule doctor visits during the work day you NEED this app! I was able to get prescriptions filled, a consultation that saved me the trip and expense of urgent care, and quick results for only $20 a year. There’s absolutely no reason why you shouldn’t have this app it will save you hours which to me is my most valuable resource.

First time user and loved it!. On a ski trip in NH my 13 yr old got sick. We were ready to go to an urgent care and spend 2-3 hours plus the possibility of catching something else and I remembered this benefit from my company. Got the app, signed up in no time and started an online visit via text and video call. He clearly has sinusitis and got an antibiotic. This was amazing, much more convenient than a visit to an urgent provider.

Inhaler. Needed an Albuterol Inhaler refill. Very nice doctor, haven’t tried to pick Rx up yet but she said she was sending script in for me after a brief chat with me. I did have to wait 3 HOURS to receive help from a provider. Not a good service if you need something quickly, but a great service if you have a little time to wait. Very nice, very easy!….assuming prescription for inhaler is filled with ease tomorrow morning.

Immediate Medical Care. I was able to talk to a doctor at 10pm. It was easy, complete, and gave me the accurate medical direction I needed. I will strongly recommend to others and will definitely use the service again. 3 weeks later: I had a second visit about a completely different problem. The doctor was the same one I saw for my first visit and he started the conversation by following up on my initial medical issue. I felt like I had an “ONLINE” provider who already knew me. And in 15 minutes while sitting on my couch I was diagnosed and prescribed some medication that worked with just 3 doses. This is an amazing time saver and gives immediate access to quality medical care when you need it most.

First Time user. I was pleasantly surprised at how quick and easy it was. Took a bit to load some of my info but that is to be expected. I liked that I did not need to sit on the Ap waiting for the doctor. I received a message when she was on the chat. Dr Jensen took care of my need very quickly. Will definitely use again.

very bad experience. i want to get prescription for my chronic disease. Because of the covid19, I don’t want to go to the clinic because it is very dangerous outside. So I choose this App. However, the physician only give me 1 month refill and ask me to go to the clinic and get some lab work done. Then after I get the lab done. They said the clinic dr could give you refill. They won’t prescribe refill. If the clinic dr could do everything. Why I need to use this app? If you have chronic disease and need to get refill, DO NOT use this app, they will only give you 1 month refill, you need to keep visiting them again and again and again. And you may get nothing.

AWESOME!. I’m not technologically savvy but I was able to do this. Answer the questions after putting in your request. Mine was needing prescriptions and I am unable to communicate in any form-telephone, email/patient portal, video chat etc. with nurse practitioner. Got a video chat to establish identity, answered more questions. SO THANKFUL. Found out about this app via email sent to my husband at his job. This doctor was professional, quickly but thoroughly resolved the issue.👍!!!

What is happening?. What is happening to this app/company? I received an email today about it not accepting new subscribers and we cannot renew our sub. I’m so sad! This is my go-to medical care app! My favorite!! I felt so blessed to discover it couple of years ago. I don’t understand what’s happening. Is it transitioning under new owner or it’s ending forever ?

Helpful. I had a question about some medicine I was taking and it was so convenient and easy just to have someone answer that without having to make and appointment and go to an office. Very professional doctor and helpful information. Will use this in the future. So great full to have something like this app accessible.

Great idea but needs tweaking. My end experience with the doctor was great and very efficient. The initial request process was a different story. My first attempt timed out on me b/c I was typing too much info in one of the initial question screens not knowing that more questions were coming. On my 2nd attempt, I typed up the same info in a separate document so that I could just copy & paste but it will not allow you to paste in the app. 3rd try was the charm. Some better instructions on the front end would help.

5 Star Service!. Honestly, I think 98point6 can help transform healthcare in this country. Being able to get medical Assistance with a chat, and clarifying if you need further help is great. I haven’t yet needed any labs done, but they ask detailed questions and make sure you are taken care of. They even helped figure out if I had an ear infection or not, and told me what to try before seeking further treatment. Bravo!

Love it!. This is an incredibly convenient way to access health care. Their assessment is very thorough. The doctors make you feel that they are gathering all pertinent information. The ability to think about what you want to say and text makes for better communication. All while in the comfort of your home..or car..or yard. I will never go to urgent care and sit for an hour in a waiting room again!!

Seriously AMAZIIIING!. My daughter has a spider bite that did not go away for about a week, so we video chatted with the doctor here after giving a description of what was going on and the doctor was able to diagnose her spider bite and send the required prescriptions to our nearest pharmacies with no hassle at all. Literally the greatest thing ever!

Waste of time. Was sick over the weekend and used this app. Spent the 1/2 hour entering my information and describing my symptoms, which were the same as my daughters who went to her actual doctor and diagnosed with bronchitis. A doctor came on the video chat and said they don’t prescribe medication as a rule and proceeded to tell Me basic information for care with the flu. Two days later I went to my regular doctor (a real one not this fake apps fake ones) who prescribed a zpak and agreed this app is trash. Don’t waste your time just see your doctor.

Very convenient. Literally, couldn’t sleep and thought about this app. My husband and daughter are sleeping next to me so I was texting the doctor through this app. Explained the problems I was having and she prescribed me medication right away. Ahhh. The convenience of doing things right from bed and not having to go in to a doctors’ office is nice especially with the pandemic going on.

Great service! Easy, efficient.. Great service! There was a 30 minute wait, so they just messaged me when the doctor was ready. I had a problem with my inner ear, so she explained to me what may be taking place, and sent a prescription over to my pharmacy. This was much better than making an appointment with a doctors office.

Amazing. All it took was 30 mins from the moment I found out this service existed, to the end of my child appointment! My mind is blow! Having three kids and not having to pack everyone up and wait for hours was the win I needed today. And it was covered completely!! Thanks a bunch!

The best, most convenient way to see a doctor!. I can’t believe how easy this app is to use! I had an issue with soreness in my calf that seemed very suspicious. I was able to start a visit in the app, share my concerns with a doctor who let me know that my symptoms were very common (and expected) and she told me how to alleviate the pain. I was able to have the visit while at my desk at work in an open floor plan environment! Quick, inexpensive and super helpful!

Feature Requests. Love the app, but I wish there was a way to upload medical documents so the doctors would know existing conditions so they can better identify what may be going on. This isn’t an end all be all solution to current urgent care practices, but I feel like having some more information about the patient may help figure out the problem. Love the log-in via text, however, what if someone has stolen your personal information and is posing as you? What about Touch ID & Face ID as a second form of identification? Syncing with the Apple Health App? The Health app allows apps to sync with it and share health data. This would be useful and a ton of information to your doctors, with patients permission of course :) Just a few thoughts.

At the end of the day, they send you out anyway. I used teledoc for a long time and loved it. It saved me many times from having to urgent care or office visit for simple issues and required prescriptions. So helpful when you are busy and live in an super urban area where exposure to covid in waiting rooms is a guarantee. But 96point6 physicians will listen to your symptoms, and tell you every time that you have to go to an urgent care or primary care office for *insert whatever*. Its kind of like, why waste your time and money when they are just going to send you in anyway? Poor quality compared to teledoc.

A Lifesaver. My husband was absolutely miserable at 2am and I found out about this app in a deep reddit hole. Had a full chat “visit” (even with a quick facetime) and within 10 minutes had 2 prescriptions sent to a pharmacy to pick up when they opened. On Thanksgiving. And only paid $21 because he doesn’t have insurance....and visits are only $1??¿??¿? why doesn’t everyone use this??

I love this APP!. Love that I can call and be taking to a doctor in minutes. I like that the doctor is local your talking to. Was an internal medicine real doctor instead of a nurse practitioner. I even did a follow up visit the next day because I needed advice on my next decision. Real peace of mind! My plan insurance plan covers this benefit, but even if they didn’t it is worth the minor yearly subscription. Thank you for developing this!

Absolutely Incredible. Within an hour of learning what 98point6 was, I was getting a prescription written for a much-needed medication for the cost of a $1 visitation fee and the first year’s subscription rate of $20. No insurance, no waiting in line at a doctor’s office, and no excessive amounts of paperwork. It was so cheap and so convenient that I would recommend this service to anyone and everyone who wants quick access to a physician’s attention and care.

A lifesaver, literally.. I have struggled with major depressive disorder and anxiety for a very long time and recently lost access to my psychiatrist. About an hour and a half after downloading the app I had already talked to a doctor extensively and my usual prescriptions were on their way to the pharmacy. I have reliable and affordable access to my medicine until I can get back into a local office. Cannot thank these doctors enough for what they do.

Not fully supported for iPad.. The 98point6 app only has an iPhone version and has not been fully optimized to be used on iPad in landscape orientation. Very frustrating as it is more convenient for me to organize my healthcare through my iPad VS my phone and I would rather have my appointments on my iPad so I can sit at my desk. Hopefully there will be an iPad version of this app in the future, when that happens I will most likely change my review to 5 stars as I really have no other issues regarding the service. Being unable to fully support iPad OS is my biggest dealbreaker with apps.

Quick, easy, and effective!. This app was on my medical card. I’m on vacation and was able to see a virtual doctor. I answered a series of questions and before meeting with me, the doctor reviewed all the information I provided. I had a UTI (sorry-TMI) and the doctor prescribed medication and called it into the closest pharmacy. I was a new patient and the process took 20 minutes. Unbelievably easy and efficient!

Sooo convenient. Took about 30 minutes to get in touch with a clinician, which is less time than it usually takes to get out of bed, dressed and drive to a walk-in clinic, not to mention the wait time once there with a room full of sick people. After 5-10 minutes of texting back and forth, I got a prescription sent to my pharmacy and that was it. Wow.

Awesome Experience!. I had the pleasure of working with Dr. David Dickey… he was very attentive, asked great questions, so genuine concern, and I truly enjoyed my time with him (I wish he was my primary care doctor). He reviewed everything with me very clearly and made very relevant recommendations. Probably one of the best doctor experiences I’ve ever had, and I work with doctors for a living. Thank you, Dr. Dickey

Amazing. This is an amazing tool for certain things. It would’ve taken me a couple days to get into the doctor, which means that many more days of suffering and then making the trip to the doctor’s office, which another uncomfortable issue on its own. This was a quick, productive visit, that ended in a prescription being sent to my pharmacy which is exactly what was needed! I love this app!

Don’t waste your time. Won’t prescribe.. Got this app for a quick prescription for a yeast infection without urgent care fees or time spent on an appointment. Tried 3 different docs. All of them told me to see someone in person or get labs done first??? I’m a female I know what a yeast infection feels like. Honestly this app is just an advertisement for LabCorp/Quest who they’re obviously partnered with because they tried to make me pay for labs or appointments with them every time. I found other apps who will write a simple antifungal rx without forcing labs and appointments down my throat (WHICH NEGATES THE PURPOSE OF MOBILE CARE). Don’t waste your money on this scam.

Really great to see a doctor without appointment. I have just used 98.6 for the first time and it is 8:40 pm. Really like being able to get the help I needed very fast and through my smart phone. I already have a prescription sent to my local pharmacy and instructions on what to do next. I did not have to go anywhere all done from my house. Thank you very much for 98.6.

Very positive experience!. I was skeptical that this service would work but it was easy and the doctor was very clear with communication. She went above and beyond to help with my symptoms. I would highly recommend this service to my family and friends. I’m glad this service is available when I couldn’t get an apt with my primary care and did not want to wait hours at urgent care. Thank you 98.6.

Great experience. Dr. Wiseman was wonderful, knowledgeable, and caught a few pieces of information I accidentally missed which shows she genuinely went through my history and medications to catch my mistakes and clarify with me. I was very impressed with that, and her. This is the first time I’ve used this app and now understand why I’ve heard so many good things about the ease and quality of care.

Easy, quick treatment. I am a nurse, and I have used this app a couple times now and each time was a great experience. The doctors are friendly and helpful. You can get treatment from the comfort of you home, instantly with no waiting rooms. After a brief interaction with the doctors, I was able to go pick up my prescriptions from my local pharmacy. I highly recommend this app.

Good Alternative. The wait was a little bit long at first but the application functions very well and the medical staff is of superb quality. I was very satisfied with my experience with 98point6, especially in light of the fact that I was very skeptical about how this experience would pan out at first. To my surprise, turned out to be very good. I would recommend to anyone! Definitely better than urgent care if you don't need imaging!
