6.99 a week? For what?. As a jazz guitar educator I am always looking for new apps, trying to get students off tabs and into. Sheet music still sometimes students need tabs for context, I downloaded this and then see its 6.99. A week??? What app costs that much, especially with buggy reviews I’m reading. Layout looked decent however after seeing your ridiculous scam price I will never recommend this app to any of my students or colleagues. Crazy! Avoid this app ….
Is good. I use this app just to help me learn things on my guitar and it really helps
So glad this app exists!. Great to keep notes in that you don’t want in different journals, or loose leaf paper you use when you forget your journal and then your notes are just all over the place. Finally with this app I can have them all in one place !

Just got it today !. So far it’s a great app. My goal is to get a few of my short songs finished before the trial ends and then promote how fantastic the app is. I also will consider getting a membership if it’s worth it! Thank you!
Mostly good app. Couple bugs and suggestions. Bought the full app. This is the only iPad app I’ve found to write tabs with chords and notes. The interface is mostly good with a couple bugs and some desired features. First the bugs. Notice the audio playback only works through Bluetooth not speakers on iPad w/latest OS. Also noticed you cannot create a D chord in this app - it forces a barre chord across GBE strings. Now some feature requests. Please add ability to denote hammers and pull-always like “8 p5” or “5 h8”. Please add ability to show finger numbers on chord diagrams above the tab. Please add ability to place text notes above/below or right/left of tab grids to describe techniques. If bugs were fixed and features added this is a 5-star + app!!

Free version without subscription is USELESS, subscription is highway robbery. TL/DR synopsis: Pass on this one for now and save yourself the headache. So I saw this and thought it might be helpful in putting music ideas to paper (or in this case, electrons). I had hopes for this app, but wanted to try it out before committing to any kind of subscription because $10/month is a lot to pay to save paper when I can print tab/staff lines for free and play them on my guiar instead of my iPad. But the free version is practically unusable. I’m unable to change time signatures and I get continuous pop up ads that interrupt my workflow. I don’t mind supporting the dev through ads IF I GET A FUNCTIONING PRODUCT. I get the developers have to earn a return on their investment of time and resources. But this app goes overboard and the bombardment of ads for something so useless is really just a pressure tactic to get you to commit to the subscription. I chose to delete the app instead. If they go to a more functional product with better ad spacing I might reinstall. If the monthly subscription was better priced I also might reconsider. But as it stands, this is an overpriced product at best, and the epitome of frustration due to constant interruptions at worst.

Not Usable.. I can't find a single way to actually put numbers down to make tabs. Maybe have a button to do so or something. It would be nice to have a usable app.
Every touch brings a pop-up Ad!. If ALL you want to do is look at an ad for the $10/month subscription then you will love this app. BUT, if you are like me and CONTINUALLY (like every touch of the screen) get a subscription ad before you can do anything, avoid this app like the plague!! I never could tell what the app could even do other than pop-up ads for the subscription. $10/month just to see if this app has ANY redeeming features at all... nah, not for me! I have no intention of supporting or subsidizing any developer that greedy. I’ll put this app in the trash and hope the trash doesn’t spit it back at me. I’m just glad I didn’t purchase one of their pay for up front apps before I discovered the type of developers... you get the idea...

Where is the tutorial?. This kind of app really is irritating. Has great potential, but they decline to add the simplest of things like a tutorial on how to use it. And forget the developer website, that’s a joke.

You can do NOTHING without a purchase.. What a waste of iPad memory. To purely test drive the app, you can't. Everything I attempted referred me to shelling out $9.99. I'll be removing from this iPad immediately. What a downright dumb tactic.
Fantastic. I love guitar notation. It is so fantastic. Please note: in no way am I doing this JUST to unlock additional features. Not at all. That would be weird. Kind of like hiding additional features behind a positive review.

You're on your own. No documentation, no tutorials, you're on your own figuring this out. Not sure if tab is the only option here, I was looking for something that did both. It would be great if you could easily duplicate chords, and if the fretboard diagrams could be automatically converted to tab. Needs a lot of work. The developer website also has no info on how the various features work.
Terrible. Full screen ads very often, buggy and constantly asking you to pay for a subscription. I am not developer, but it would be smart if you guys offered a Lite version. How is someone going to pay for subscription when you can’t even use your app? Might as well rename it “Ad Simulator Pro”

Jarring Price Change. So, this app was pretty useful for me for a while when I was just starting out playing guitar, because it was free, although it had limited access. Of course, I felt that was understandable considering it was free. There was a paid version though, like there is now, however the paid version was like 5$ for a one time purchase. After which, you would gain access to the pro version which was offered as an in app purchase. It had been like this for literal years, and I loved it. However, I got on the app today, and suddenly, it essentially just reverted me back to the limited free version, when I had already spent money on the app. All of this, because they wanted to switch to a subscription model, but I had already paid money. I don’t believe this is fair, and I feel like I should be entitled to a refund, or at least get the version back that I had already paid for. Regardless, I’m definitely not paying for a subscription when it can suddenly flip on a dime like this, and I wouldn’t recommend it either. Imagine you bought something for like 5$ or something like that, because it could’ve honestly been more, and then suddenly, you no longer have access to it, and you have to pay 10$ a month for something you already had. It feels like a slap in the face.

This is great for beginners. I had mentally kept a composition for my guitar in my head but when I knew that I could soon forget it, I decided to find an app...And I tried quite a few but this was the easiest to work with. I didn’t have to think twice about how to place a note because it felt so natural! I would totally recommend this to anyone who wants to compose their own songs for the guitar
Forced to rate app. I purchased the full version of this app ($9.99) and when I went in to change the background it says I have to rate the app 5 stars in order to make changes. Are you kidding me? A wasted $10 because I won't be forced to rate any app after spending my hard earned dollars on it. Don't bother, there are better apps out there with a sense of honesty and integrity. Apple needs to address this issue.

Great. Just started using this and it is exactly what I wanted.
Could be good but...... This app looks like it could be very good. It is obviously a tryout for the real version. Unfortunately there is no help or instructions so I haven’t even able to work out how to input notes or anything much at all. I would be interested in purchasing the package if I had some idea how it works. For example does it allow for lyrics. Pity.
Haven’t tried it yet and it has forced me to rate it. I’ve been forced to rate it just to change the back ground colour.

Terrible. App crashes when you actually try to compose anything. Every little detail is an extra package that they want $10 for. Why would I pay $10 for anything on this app when they give you no opportunity to see its use-ability? They won't even let you change the background color without rating them 5 stars first - Haha! Need to add Ukulele instaments. This app is good on my iPad, however I play tenor and baritone ukulele. This would be a 5 star app if you added those instruments. There are many uke players out there and you are missing a huge market.
