Not Much More To It. Needed it for Pro Tools and it works like a charm! I used to use Karabiner but since upgrading to High Sierra, they, for some reason, specifically removed the functionality to map fn+NumberKey to a numpad key entry. The app does exactly what it says, acts as your numpad. It connects to your computer as long as you're on the same wifi network and you've downloaded the app (free) on your computer as well. Beautiful 😭

Perfect remote numpad. I was searching for a numpad to speed up note entry in music notation app on my MacBook 😎 This works perfectly. My iPhone can act as virtual keypad for my MacBook and there are more customization features I haven’t even begun using yet.

I’m a college professor teaching iOS development.. And I love this app. I was looking for something to help me control keynotes full of embedded coding video snippets and the modularity of this app has saved me days of work trying to make this myself. If you don’t know, presentation remotes never have all of the right key combos for more than the simplest slide shows. This allows you to basically make your own fully customizable Mac remote for useful key presses.

Only annoying thing is how fast it asks for a review. The app started begging for a review on the first day I downloaded it. How am I supposed to review it when I’ve only used it for a few minutes? That being said, the app works good. Install process was easy. Lots of customization options. I hope the review pop ups will stop now that I’ve left this review.

Pay the man already. I bought this app so I could hook my MacBook up to the big screen in my living room and control quizlet from the couch which is only scratching the surface of its tools. After using it I would have paid more for this and his choice to earn a little money is deserved. Constantly updated, lots of features, and user friendly.

I would give it 5 stars. The app is great when it works, but it keeps having issues with connection to my Mac. I’ve changed my WiFi settings repeatedly, sometimes even switching entirely to LTE in hopes that it will help. Sometimes this works, sometimes it doesn’t. When it does, I can be on a roll with my Anki flash cards and suddenly the app goes haywire and I have to go back and un-review my cards because the app has been stuck on the space bar... which can be tedious.

Great but, why not…. Awesome app and works great but why not make it so you have a full keyboard as a choice to switch to? That would take it to the next level.

This App Is Invaluable To Me. I have a singular yet very important use for NumPad. In music production I often need access to the numeric keypad for very specific tasks that if I had to mouse into menus would dramatically slow me down. Opening this app on my phone and selecting my MBP immediately puts those commands back at my fingertips. I’ve never had an issue with this app and have no need or interest in looking for alternatives. Thank you NumPad!!!

Nice addition!. I’m using this to control Digital Performer, which has a lot of functions on the keypad. My laptop doesn’t have a keypad, so this allows me to control it (even for a distance) from my iPhone. At the moment, my MacBook is running a video feed to an auditorium projector, and I’m controlling it from the piano at the front of the house. Nice, and reliable so far.

What was missing from my mac. This makes life so much easier for entering numbers. As far as I can tell, you can set up buttons for shortcuts in an app. I haven't tried to do that, yet, but I will be soon! Solid app.

Does exactly what I needed it to. Haven’t explored any of the extras yet. I need to type in time codes on my laptop and this is perfect. I have a feature request: give me a “00” button. My NLE doesn’t recognize the “.” As a double 0. Maybe that’s an extra? Good App.

Love this app. I found this app at the beginning of Covid while searching for a tool to help me with my Ecamm recording. It fit perfectly, allowing me to use an old iPhone as a video control center. It is easy to set up and easy to use. Get it!

This is the best number pad for macbook!. I was looking for the new number pad all ober the websites..and it was quite expensive.. So I just decided to try this app. and 100% recommended! works well with excel and others♥

Quite useful. This app lets you control your computer. Its quite flexible too that you can basically add macros. I’m now able to use a lot of shortcuts with just one press of a button, its very helpful for my workflow!

I wish I could give this app 10 stars. I’d already given the app five stars just because it works so well as a remote keypad. Then I discovered that I could create a custom keypad for entering numbers with decimals (.25, .5, .75) and up/down/left/right arrows all in a single key pad. I now can tap the [5] then the [.25] to enter 5.25 in a cell. Thank you.

Does the job. I’ve used this to turn my phone into a numeric keypad for entering data into spreadsheets on my Mac. Works great. I’ve used it for several years.

Easy to use and you can create your own screens. I work with different applications that require different numlock keys, and this has been excellent. I do not have to carry around another piece of equipment, because I always have my phone. It was easy to set up and works very well with my Mac. I’ve also enjoyed creating my personal screens. One downside, I have not had much success in using it with public Wi-Fi’s, it does not find my Mac to connect, but will work well with my hotspot.

Lifesaver. I work on a MacBook, which doesn’t have a keypad. NumPad has been a lifesaver when entering data into an Excel spreadsheet. You can also create shortcuts, for example, I created one for taking a screenshot. I always forget the three key combination to do that and now all I have to do is press one key. This app is easy to use and performs flawlessly.

Still killing it. For what it does, still my number one productivity increasing app/tool. A must for any power user on the go or otherwise. I usually have my full size keyboard and STILL find myself using this app more and more for customized macros and shortcuts.

Wonderful applications. Been so simple to use it amazing that this applications has been so useful for me. Entering data was extremely simplify with this application. I am definitely enchanted with this apps, and I definitely will continue using and supporting this extraordinary tools.

great app. This is the perfect solution for me. I’ve been playing video games via game stream with handheld devices. I need the use the keyboard occasionally but it is tedious on the handheld device, this app comes in so handy.

Great little app. I use this app with a smaller keyboard that does not have the number pad. It works excellently, and I have a bit more desk space and saved money by not having to get a new keyboard. I recently had a problem and was contacted by the developer within the hour with the solution. The ability to add custom keys for specific actions is simply fantastic. I’ve tried a few other apps which simply do not work; this one is the one to get.

Works well, but disgruntled by pricing practice. I’ve been pleased with how this app works with Sibelius. But I paid a few bucks just 3 months ago to get a nice featured app without ads. Then a recent update to the app introduced ads unless I now pony over more money to the developer in a subscription. It was hidden in a “release note” that the pricing model switched from paid to “freemium”, but it’s not really freemium when I already paid for the app and now need to buy a subscription just to remove ads.

A med student. I spend the majority of my time now doing flashcards with Anki/osmosis...so I was looking for something I could setup some commands for flash card mode so I can stare at my laptop a little farther away for long periods of time. Eye strain and all that. Other apps couldn’t get all the commands I wanted in or were awkward to use. This is exactly what I was looking for! Works great! I do get a lot of weird looks in the library when I do this because I keep my phone down and it looks like I’m controlling it with my mind so thanks for making it look like I have superpowers ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Helpful. Work in accounting and sometimes when I’m working from a small space this app is helpful to enter numbers while not having to use computer number keys making entry faster

Great App!. I love this app! And all the apps by this company. I work in data entry and one of the biggest problems with working from home is that my laptop doesn’t have a number pad. Using the numbers across the top of the keyboard takes 3x longer than a number pad, so this app saved my life! It registers the input just as fast as a real number pad, and the app is wayyyyy cheaper than buying an external keyboard.

It works. A bit slow and I don’t feel the space between the buttons, but overall it’s a great tool to have

Pleasant surprise. Didn’t think an app would be able to replicate a numpad so easily. Always didn’t like the idea of having a long keyboard when I don’t use the numpad majority of the time. Now I can use it only when I need it all through my iPhone!

A Simple and Elegant Solution. More people should honestly know about this app! For years I went without a dedicated NumPad on my MacBook Pro until I discovered this app. As a science majoring college student this is amazing. My productivity while working with excel significantly increased. Best of all, I don’t need to pack additional hardware in my backpack. I’ll be sharing this App with all my fellow college friends!

Nice piece of kit. Great when you just need a plain remote without the need to control your whole PC as well. Or, for a personal taste, configure it just how you like, no extra buttons you have no idea how to use properly. Now only if physical remotes were like that (sigh).

Real Problem Solver. Who’s wants a humongous keyboard? No one. But there are times when having a dedicated numpad or arrows is really key. This app solves that. Plus you can program your own custom setups for folks using specialized applications. Pretty killer.

A must have!!. One of my favorite productivity tools ever! So many creative ways to use this… For example, I’m a video editor so I have a numpad for just going through an interview with all the keys I need for that so I can go through the footage using just my phone, holding it like a joystick (horizontal), and going through hours of footage quickly and efficiently without ever even touching my keyboard or mouse. Now THAT is productivity at its best!

Culling photos. I sort through thousands of photos at a time in Lightroom, rating them by hitting the 2 or 3 keys, along with a handful of others. Holding my hand over the physical keyboard is an ergonomic strain, so this app allows me to push the buttons I need right from my phone while my hands are on a more comfortable and natural position. I’ve designed four big buttons (by merging 4 little squares) so that i can fly through the photos with just my thumbs. I’m sure I’ll be coming up with lots of other uses for this elegant and customizable app.

Great app. As a teacher I have to do a lot of data entry in the grade book. With no number pad on my MacBook, I find this app incredibly helpful when I work at home. Thanks for a great option!

Indispensable Tool. This is a great tool when you have lots of numbers to work with and your keyboard lacks a number keypad. I have a small portable keyboard. With this app, it seems I now have a large keyboard with number pad. Thanks. I’m really pleased.

Handy 10-key. I am constantly using other people’s computers due to my job and this app helps to ensure that I always have a 10-key pad when I need it, which is quite often since I am constantly reviewing spreadsheets. Great to have this handy app on my iPhone, since most people don’t have a 10-key option on their default keyboard.

Great app, great developer. I use several apps by this developer. He has been very responsive to my suggestions, and a few times implemented changes I suggested quickly. I use the numpad pro app when working on taxes and when I resolve my financial accounts monthly. It saved me from getting a full keyboard. When I need more control of my Macs I use one of his other apps, Remote•Pro.

Great value for the money and function. This application is ideal if you do not want to keep another keypad device around to accompany your laptop keyboard. I’ve been using this for a while as well as the other remote applications. All of them have worked really well. Good programming.

MUST HAVE App. This app is incredible. I work online mostly on indesign and this app has made it so easy! Doing tasks that usually take 5 steps are now cut down to one. I make the shortcuts and layout my “keyboard” and bam I’ve got tons of one click shortcuts. Love love love this app. Thanks!!

Fabulous. I’ve always hated a keyboard that doesn't have numbers grouped into a keypad. Now it doesn’t matter because this app gives me a keypad any time I need it. Simply fabulous!

Numpad. Had little trouble getting it to find my computer but the website was helpful. App works fine now.

Great app - Music copyists!!!. While this app can be used for many many things, I have found it to be an exceptional add-on for those that copy music in programs like Finale, Sibelius and others. Since the MacBook Pro does not have a numeric keypad this little add-on gives you a numeric keypad for your laptop making music input really fast between the keypad and the keyboard on the laptop. Check it out, you won’t regret it.

Amazing app. I was looking into buying a numeric pad for my Mac Pro and they were so expensive because the Type C connector or the Bluetooth. This is so much better and more features like one key designated to cut, another to paste, and one to copy. No more pressing two keys for basic commands! My arthritic hands appreciate it! (Mind you, I’m a young middle age. 😄). The only suggestion I’ve is to keep the phone plugged because it drains your battery.

Great app for people with small lap tops. I got this app as a key pad for my small 13 in lap top. I work with numbers daily so having this easy blue tooth app helps speed up my work quite a bit.

All fixed and working well now.. Sent a support request to fix the app for use on iPad mini 2. Got it all updated and running within 24 hours. Very good support service. Thank you. (Previous review) I have just updated the app and it doesn’t work at all now. Just a blank screen and the 2 orange bars at the bottom. I reinstalled the app and rebooted the iPad, but still nothing. PLEASE FIX IT. (Previous review) Have been using this app for a little while now, the latest update has sorted out all the bugs, that I encountered anyway. I've tried most of the other number pad apps and this one would probably be the best. I use this on an iPad Mini placed to the left of the keyboard. It increases productivity when you can keep your right hand on the mouse and enter numbers at the same time. Perfect.

Love it, Truly amazing app. Gives me control of how I set up and use it so works how I want it to, highly recommend. Sometimes it has problems connecting with my laptop, but this is most likely more a laptop issue when I’m using a mobile network, with my home network seldom an issue. Can’t praise this app enough.

Quick connection & functional. I use this app a lot for transcribing handwritten field data onto spreadsheets and databases with ease. Criticism: It would be easier to edit/personalize custom number pads with the addition of drag-and-drop. If I want to shuffle around the keys, I have to tediously delete and re-create singular keys where I want them. Useful since i changed to smaller keyboard. I’ve been using this for two week and it works flawlessly. Switched from a full size keyboard to a 65% keyboard to gain space ln my desk but i had no numpad. Been using this numpad app ever since and had no problems using it. Plus you can position the notepad wherever u want so entering data is smoother since i use it with my left hand and click with my right.

This App works great!. This is a great little app that turns your iPhone into a number pad to use with your computer. Was a great product, until.... Originally, this app solved the problem of not having a 10-key pad on my laptop. While it still fulfills this function, it does so with an intrusive advertisement. I wouldn’t care had I not actually PAID for this app before this change was made. I kind of got swindled there.

Keypad is customizable?? BIG NO!. Just wasted $3 for an app that I thought would allow me to customize a keypad and I would set the keys and then go use the keypad I just made and the keys that I setup would automatically change to e.g I set one button for alt+end and it changed it to 1 + p. Think twice before you waste your money on this.

You have to download software to your computer. Figured this would just connect my phone via blue tooth. Did not realize you have to download and install software on your computer to make this work. Wanted to use with a work laptop, but I cannot install unapproved software on it due to security reasons. Wasted money.

Amazing. This is an amazing app. I do music projects and I have a couple of screens full of totally customized Cubase commands that save me tons of time.

App Does nothing. No problems connecting to iMac over WiFi network. Tying to use as NumPad alongside Apple magic keyboard, but the app does not allow me to type in any programs on the app. Total and complete waste of money and I have already wasted more time than it would ever be worth. Would have saved my company money if I just bought a new keyboard or separate NumPad device.

9 repeating. I was getting the hang of using the app to do some data entry but then all of a sudden it started typing 9’s nonstop. Even after I exited the app. I had to also close the work I was doing. When I opened my work again the 9’s continued to appear!!!!!

Excellent App and Developer Support. I downloaded this app to assist with shortcuts in Blender 3D. The method for creating shortcuts is intuitive and simple. For programs with multiple hotkey shortcuts this app is a huge timesaver. After noticing an anomaly with the keyboard drivers in Blender I reached out to Evgeny for assistance. He updated the app, in under a week, with a modifier option that solved the issue! You can’t ask for much more from a developer. Thanks again!

Back to good old days of having numeric keypad.. So nice to input spreadsheet and accounting numbers on my macbk air. Old BT numeric keyboard no longer pairs. Now I use this whenever neede. I love it.
