New to diabetes. As a person recently diagnosed with diabetes, this app took the stress off me for monitoring my tests. I recently asked a question through their suggestion link and was quickly replied to the following day. Since then, we’ve gone back and forth in conversation regarding my suggestion. My overall experience is really good and very satisfied with their quick and responsive communication.

Good But A Couple Foibles. Simple, effective way to track your blood glucose levels, carbsand insulin. Pros: 1. Easy to use 2. No intrusive ads 3. Reminders 4. Graphs 5. Tracks what I need (glucose, insulin, carbs) 6. Can track weight, estimate A1C, etc. Cons: 1. Can’t contact developer ... can’t ask questions, suggest features, etc. They have their server turned off. Maybe they turn it on sometimes, but you can see from other reviews that this has been going on for quite some time. 2. You cannot adjust the graph scale. The insulin graph y-axis starts at 40 units. 40? My daughter takes just a few units sometimes. Every entry under 40 does not show up on the graph. Any entry higher than 40 shows up but who injects 40 or more units at once? Makes no sense.

Perfect! 😊. This app is great. You can track almost everything. You can track your weight your glucose, your carbs, your A1C,Blood pressure insulin, medication, and ketones. I suggest you should get this app if you have diabetes I feel as though it’s perfect because you can track your carbs your glucose your insulin your wait in your A1c everything.

Needs a little work. Coming from Android’s BG Monitor, I was looking for something equivalent in simplicity but still had the features I was used to and this was the closest I could find. For the most part it works fine but a few minor but deal killers for me.. First is the blood sugar is REQUIRED for an entry, sometimes a BG is not necessary if you are bolusing after a check/bolus/correction. I end up using the previous blood sugar and it messes with the averages displayed on the home screen. Second is the graph, when selecting a blood sugar it only displays the number and date, the time is not included which makes it difficult to target the exact time frame of a high/low trend. Third the contact information doesn’t work, it always displays “Cannot connect to server” at the top every time. There is also no feature for diet other than a notes section on each entry. Perhaps once the bug with the contact method is fixed and I can get in touch I will change my review. This app has great potential but for me it’s not quite there yet.

Constant use; excellent. Simple, elegant, data recorder. I can see where it might not work as well for T1D’s as T2 and Pre-D, but it works very well for me. Love the running average; love the estimated HbA1c. Data entry is smooth and simple, space for notes is great! I don’t use the reminders at all. The trend graph is a good tool also. Easier to show a medico than the mess that printed out when I emailed to myself! I do love an app such as this one that does what it promises, and does it invisibly. Thank you!

Keeps Track Of BG & A1C!. I got this app when I was using One Touch Flex Verio BG meter and it helped me reduce my A1C from 7.5 to 6.1 and my sugar fro 180 to 120, now I hope the app will add Dexcom G7 CGM to its list, it has G6 but I use G7 sensor pods This is a must have app if you’re serious about keeping your BG and A1C, I love it and I send biweekly updates to my doctor from the app.

Very disappointed.. Just started using this app because my orig app is going out of business or something. I selected this one not because it was free, but because of its ratings. Now an update comes out and all of a sudden, parts require a hefty monthly fee or annual. Prior, I said, “how can this app be free? It’s not as neat as my orig, but fairly functional”... I would have gladly paid for it up front, once. But the little extra it offers is not worth a regular subscription. Seems everyone wants to get greedy. Shame.

Simple to use. UPDATE - The developer contacted me and answered my concerns. There is a way to contact the developer in the settings on the app but this link was previously broken but seems to work now. So I raised my rating to 4 stars. This app is very simple to use. Hopefully the developer reads these reviews because there doesn’t seem to be away to contact them. I am on pills rather than insulin injections. I would like to have a way to record the name and dosage of my medication in the app.

SHAME ON YOU. my husband and I both use this app to track our blood sugar and A1C average. This is the only number our doctor asks for when we see him every 3 months. He also looks at the graph if he feels there is a need. Now the A1C is licked and costs $30 to unlock! Is this greed or stupidity? It was free but now we will no longer use this but go in for testing instead. It all costs the same and at least I get to see my doctor when I have it checked there! What a bummer. I could tell if I needed to be worried before now I am back to having to figure this myself. SHAME ON YOU!

Beware of this app. I was checking this app out I accidentally press the button and I am now charged for one year subscription that I do not want or need. I’ve tried to contact the company to get a refund and it’s been over a week and no one has responded. At this point anyone who checks this app out be very careful about what button you press because you’ll end up being charged for something you do not want. There’s does not seem to be any way to contact these people to get a response and help.

Was great, now going subscription model for little substance. I absolutely loved this app and would have gladly paid a one time fee to use it, but adding a subscription model?! Sticking a gross padlock on the A1C? (which as you state is just an estimate anyway) Seriously? I just want to manage my diabetes, not be reminded multiple times a day that someone is trying make money off my health problem. It’s really kind of offensive and the reason I deleted every other diabetes app I tried. The only thing worth a subscription would be access to a health professional who could help manage diabetes education and questions. Locking the rest of the features behind a subscription and not a one time fee is just going for money. Look I get it, everyone needs to make a living and earn money, and micro transactions and subscriptions are great avenue, but this move really cheapened a great app that stood out from a lot of other crappy ones.

Reports are now for paid subscriptions only. I was loving this app and very happy with all the features that come with a free subscription. Since reports were so thorough and available to all users, I chose to use this app over the one that syncs with my meter. However, there was an update which of course is right before my endocrinologist appointment and reports are now for paying users only. I will no longer be using this app. I’m very disappointed as I was an extremely satisfied user.

This was a 5 star app for me Until. I downloaded this nice free app to monitor my glucose and even have an A1C estimate. Things have been awesome 5 Star until today! Now they suddenly want me to pay a monthly fee to use the A1C tracker. They already have my information fir solicitation purposes and who knows who they sell that to. They also have lots of my glucose history for that same purpose they might sell. Now they suddenly spring a few on me!!!! That makes this a 1 star rating if that. I lodged a complaint and have not heard back. If they do not resolve this I will simply get a different free app. User beware.

Not well supported. I am well into my second year subscription and was using an iPhone 6 and 7th generation iPad and could easily use either device to log my health data into the Glucose app up until February 21, 2023 at which time the iPhone 6 stopped syncing data with my iPad. I reached out a couple of times to the App Developer with no resolution to the syncing issue. Later upgraded to an iPhone 14 and still the syncing issue persists. Unless the App Developer resolve my syncing issue I will not use when my subscription period ends

SO Simple-Reduced Stress Level. Thank you for creating this glucose tracker. It is extremely user friendly ( I became very frustrated with many others), and it will track all that I need in one location-I was really concerned that no one had what I needed, but YOU DID IT! The only suggestion I would like to request would be to include a nutritional search function to eliminate the need for an additional app for that. I truly can’t thank you enough for creating this app-it has reduced my stress level dramatically.

Not very user friendly. I have used it for 10 min and already deleted it and requesting a refund. I have the paid version. I should not have to input time of day for every sub-menu when inputting data. You cannot go back and edit an entry without deleting it and inputing the data again. Even though there is an edit screen, it is not functioning and you cannot see the glucose value you entered for that particular log entry.

Doesn’t work right. I can’t recommend this app in its current state. The Apple Watch app doesn’t work at all. I only get a blank screen. When the app syncs with HealthKit, I get numerous duplicate entries in the HealthKit diary (sometimes up to 30 duplicates — I stopped counting). I couldn’t reach the developers in the app via the Contact Us feature or via the App Store support link. Both links are not working. Good thing I didn’t pay for this. I’d be asking for a refund. Hopefully someone can shed some light on these issues. This app was exactly what I was looking for — only to be disappointed.

Easy to use. This is extremely easy to use to keep track of your blood sugar and also allows you to enter in carbohydrates if your counting those. Has an area to type notes, such as when I was sick for a week and my blood sugars were high. Very easy and simple!

Awesome App and Customer Service. This app is simple and very useful. Only been using a few days and sent in a suggestion to add Ketone tracking and the app was updated within 2 days. Very impressive they listen so well to customer feedback. For a free app it’s a great tool. Hopefully they can add graphing abilities to the other tracked fields in the future. As of now I use this app twice daily with no issues.

A1C. This app use to let you see your A1C at a glance. Now they’ve locked that feature and want you to pay. I can’t and I won’t. Every time there’s N update things change and not always for the better. I can’t afford to pay for these so called premium features. My medicine is costing me enough.

Now charges for report. I have been using this app to track my gestational diabetes during my pregnancy since August and up until now, didn’t have to pay to create a report for my doctor. Now, without warning, it wants me to pay $40 annually to do that. I don’t need a full year’s subscription, I’m due in February, so I will be moving on to another app. Would have been nice to receive some kind of notice so I could have started using a new app before I entered all of my numbers for this last week.

Great app. Wow. What can I say but how wonderful the app is and how grateful I am to have it. I managed to reverse my pre-diabetes from 5.8 to a non pre-diabetic 5.3 and effectively track my glucose any time of day. I like how the app averages glucose for the day, 3 days, 7 days, 14 days, 30 days, and 90 days. It gives the time of day and date for each entry. Thank you for developing this app for us. I’m using the free version.

My T2D Tracker. This is all new to me and actually has made me more diligent with my regiment daily. I’m happy with the tracking charts because I can see what’s going on that is invisible to the eyes if I wasn’t aware of what T2D does without knowing the importance of taking care of yourself correctly. I check and track more because of the simplicity of this tracking app. It’s a blessing that I have another day of living to celebrate.

Don’t trust this app or its developers. I originally really liked this app as it gave me the info my Dr. wanted. Then this evening I went to record my last blood sugar test and found out that the app had been changed and they are forcing me to pay a unreasonable monthly fee to get the same or similar ability I had yesterday. If they can change the app on my iPad without my permission or my knowing about it ... what else can, or are accessing on my iPad. My review went from a 5 star to a 1 star. Don’t use this app.

If an app could be perfect, it would be this.. I really can't say enough about this app. It has helped me keep track of my blood sugar numbers in such an easy and organized way. There are no frills, no bugs, no ads, and most of all, no charge to use! You punch in your numbers, they're stored and even graphed for you. I showed this to my doctor at my last appointment and they were impressed by the simplicity and ease of use. You will not regret this app!

Great App. The thing I love about this app is besides keeping a log of your glucose readings, it lets you know what your A1C will be if you continue following whatever diet you may be following. It’s one thing to know what your blood sugar is but seeing changes in your A1C, that makes it easy to see the affect of what you are eating on your blood sugar and change as necessary. I use this app and the Loseit app to stay on track. Thank you developer!

Great....but..... I have just been diagnosed with diabetes a few months ago. I was using a paper log and thought there had to be an app to do this. I found this one. I really like it. Especially the reminders....BUT I only have to take my blood 2 days a week. I don’t want to turn off the reminders because I honestly need them, but it’s frustrating to have to get reminders every day instead of just the days I need it. I am so used to my phone calendar reminders that allows me to repeat reminders every week on the same days. I may go back to doing that. Other than the reminders, I think the app is pretty cool. I like the predicted A1C from my numbers. I also like the graph. I also like that I have a digital log and something easy I can show my doctor instead of having to remember to bring my paper log.

Another update to lock out features.. First, they updated and it locked out A1C unless you subscribe. Then it locked out more information on the data/insights page. Today there was an update with a “new and improved graph”...which is only visible if you pay a ridiculously high subscription. This was a great app. Would have paid a flat fee as it had all the features I wanted and presented data in an easy to understand manner. Now it’s a micro transaction horror. It’s being removed from my phone and I’ll b using a different app that, while ad supported, doesn’t lock away the basic functionality. Shame, as at my follow up yesterday my doctor really liked the way this app presented test results.

Now disappointed. I have really liked the app and have faithfully used the app multiple times daily. Simple and will keep tracking of what I want to regard. Suddenly with no warning I must now pay anywhere from $3 to $5 monthly if I want the estimated A1C. No warning. Just suddenly it is locked. The thing is, the other two features that would be included in the paid app —I don’t foresee using one is to export graphics and the other is apparently for support. So now we would have to pay for support? Prior to this evening when I noticed the A1C feature locked I would have given a 5 star rating. Now I feel the need to compare this to other diabetic apps before making a decision to keep it.

Deleting this app. Used to use this as my go to app. Recent changes to the subscription model, including a subscription block on A1c estimates and only maintaining 7 days of records have made this App useless. I would be glad to pay some tome fee but I am unwilling to go with a subscription fee. As a 69 year old senior on fixed income, I think it’s tragic to see this company chasing the money. Sorry to see this company following this route. At least keeping a list on paper gives me a more reliable record for a fraction of the subscription price.

Landscape View. Hello Folks at Glucose Support. I tried contacting you via the apps feedback feature but you turned off your server as I assume you don't want to get feedback on from your users. I use your app extensively to monitor my Glucose levels. One feature I would like to see added is the ability to see the graphing feature in landscape view. That would give users a more global view of their results. The ability to scale the graph would also be helpful Thanks for your consideration. jeff

Simply Works. Since using this, I have been able better to track my sugars daily. I like the new weight tab. I was having to use the note section before. I also like that they responded to my suggection to sync across Apple products. I can now use it in sync for my iPhone and my iPad. Great app👍!

Making free features chargeable = 1 Star. It may be a small thing, but seeing the lock sign next to A1C this morning gave me pause. Tap on it to see it’s now a charged feature as part of a subscription model. If you want to add features and charge for new functions, fine, but retroactively deciding to remove features from the free version is dirty and doesn’t want to make me subscribe, it just makes me think of how long it’ll be until there’s a “++” subscription that’ll remove things from “+” and really has me thinking maybe I should stop using this app at all.

Good App - Expensive. I love the app but I find $40/yr really expensive for total access. I will be looking for other apps that price reasonably. It’s not that I don’t recognize the effort to write the app, I was a programmer, it’s just that meters give the basic needed information already. The extra bells and whistles are convenient but not worth a yearly subscription of $40.

Awesome!!. Love the App. I was Diagnosed with T2 in April my A1c was over 12, and I started on the Keto diet, exercise and Intermittent Fasting along with Metformin, according to the app I’ve manage to Cut it in Half I’ll be going to get labs in one week, but I wanted some sort of a Diary so I could keep a chart and also Write notes about the Stomach aches-the helplessness you feel, and notes on how different foods Affect my Glucose And My wife found this app so Thank you is Great Help.

Great for gestational diabetes. This has been a great app for me to use for gestational diabetes. I can track my glucose easily along with my daily weight and BP all in one simple place. Managing diabetes and being pregnant is hard enough so I can’t give enough praise to the app designers for making my life easier. And it’s free with no ads...perfect!

Really Basic. The Glucose app is simple, but not very effective. At best, it’s just a list of glucose values in a scrolling list. The graphs are almost unreadable in portrait mode, and squeezed down to almost nothing in landscape mode. What this app calls “insights” are just periodic averages, plus the ability to generate a report. About that “report”: it’s just a list of glucose numbers. No charts, no graphics, not even any averages. And it contains two values labeled “value”, one of which is obviously glucose and the other which is always 0 — what does it mean? No clue! The “report” is just the same data seen in the main screen, which makes it effectively worthless. The only insight this app offers is a1c estimation, but there’s the rub: you’ve got to subscribe to the app to get that functionality. Trust me, it’s not worth it.

Incredible app. This app has everything from weight to blood sugar to blood pressure. Can even include weight and the best part presents all the info in a graph. You can text, email or print the graphs to present to your Provider. Great app. Update: Still impressed with the app with exception of trying to print graphs for my Dr to see because they don’t print very well and don’t fit within the margins but otherwise still impressed with the app.

App is pretty accurate. When i went to the Dr for my regular blood test it came up pretty high at 11.5%. I started to monitor it and found this App helpful. As I started inputing my daily sugar reads from my Meter in the App, it came to the time i had to get another blood test ordered by my Dr. I never missed a day checking my blood sugar 8 times daily. The Blood tests HGB A1C came back at a whopping 7.9%. The App read 7.12% so this app is pretty accurate with the estimated %. I recommend this appto track your sugar reading. Awesome App.

Tracking Glucose Daily. I love this app! Daily I use my smartphone to track appointments, mail, and communication tool. Since adding the Glucose App, I am checking my blood and adding results to the app. I love the estimated A1c result based on my recordings. Reading those results daily promotes better food choices - I want the numbers to be in normal ranges.

Poorly designed algorithms…... On the surface, this app appears to work as expected, however after awhile if you actually look at the data compilations and do some independent calculations, you will notice that the ‘averages’ don’t actually add up, and that the algorithms that are used to calculate your BG averages are actually not correct, and don’t provide the actual numbers that they should. An example would be: 1) when my BG went up 57 points, the average went up by 0.1 point 2) when my BG went DOWN 54 points, the average went UP by 0.3 points! I’ve been using this app for over a year now, and this anomaly has been repeated multiple times in virtually every month that I’ve been using and tracking it. This is unacceptable for an app built to monitor something ‘health’ critical, that people rely on for their wellbeing. The best thing that this app is good for is nothing but ‘ballpark’ guesstimates of your actual BG levels.

Very good app!. I have tried many different glucose tacking apps and this one is the best. This is easy to use, simple to read and has no ads. I did not read the description before I bought it but I think the developer must have a family member with diabetes or is very sympathetic towards diabetics because to make an app this good for free really shows a kind heart. Not somebody just in it for the money.

Apple watch app not working. Would give this app an overall 5 stars, but device syncing over all still has problems. Finally able to sync iPad with iPhone, but Apple Watch still says “no data”? I was told by support that they are working on an update for this problem. Until then I would suggest removing the Apple Watch icon from App Store as it doesn’t exist yet. When it is fixed I will come back and rate a 5.

SIMPLE. EASY. PERFECT!!. Finally, a blood glucose app that does exactly what a diabetic needs it to do... it tracks your daily numbers! Unfortunately so many glucose app developers seem to think that a diabetic wants to share their disease on FB, Twitter, chat, signup, login, follow or be followed, ugh. No. Simply enter your readings, pick your time of day and hit done. If you want a reminder to check your level, it will do that for you too. The glucose level is always front and center... readily available for you to see at a glance. Nice. You can filter results and you can also sync results with HealthKit. The only thing this little gem of an app lacks is a field where you can keep a separate log of your A1C's so you can glance the log for reference. All said, after wasting money on so many glucose apps that are nothing more than bloated and intrusive... I say a big THANK YOU to the developers of GLUCOSE. Your glucose app in my opinion is definitely a 5 star app!

How frustrating..... I have been using this app since my diagnosis of diabetes and have shared it with many due to the tracking of sugars, seeing an estimated A1C and the visual tracking feature. How disappointed and frustrating it is when you open the app...and BOOM now it’s money to review those things that have been encouraging and helpful to stay on track. Yeah...no thanks. Will be removing this app. Not sure the reason for the change....it was not for the better. Will be warning others about this once praised app and sudden costly changes that magically appear while disappearing features you have been using with no warning.

Great Application. it’s easy to use. Right to the point and uncomplicated. I have been looking for an app like this that’s quick and easy for my busy life style . Had a Doctor appointment and was able to show him my progress. I love it . The Only change I would suggest is the graphing of the data should be displayed horizontally not gust vertically because it compresses the data to much over time and hard to read. I check my A1c 4 Times a day; X 30 days =120 data points. Vertical room on my screen is about 2.5 inches , horizontally it’s about 8.5 inches . Thanks ! Richard

Thanks!! No email requirement. I tried several other apps before I found this one and all of them wanted me to create an account. That alone was enough to try this one, but it is really easy to use and has all the features I want.

So beautifully designed without all the other distractions from other glucose apps. Learning to help navigate a Type 1 diagnosis, and this app is by far the easiest to navigate and see the full picture at a glance. We’ve downloaded and tried several of the top apps to see which is easiest and has all the features we need. Once the developer releases med update (see notes below), we will update to 5 stars. Highly recommend this app for anyone tracking blood glucose, but especially for those newly diagnosed with diabetes. Pros - all features are free and no annoying ads that take up half the screen - easy to make entries and tag them for time of day, before/after meals, etc. - filters make it easy to see trends, and emailed reports have every detail you could want to share with your dr. - estimates A1C at top of the screen (also free feature) - can make suggestions to developer within the app...and we got almost an instant response back! :) - can set reminders throughout the day - graph option gives clear picture of glucose trends Cons - can’t specify type of meds unless make a note on the feature (developer says this is coming soon) - have to click on each entry to see the notes, so no way to see from overview screen which med was taken (hopefully med notes won’t be necessary with update) - Apple Watch app isn’t functioning

Gestational Diabetes. I tried 2 Apps and this was the easiest to use. I like that I can edit the times if I don’t record right away and I love not having to record on paper or a book that I will lose anyway! I am pretty good at technology, but for those that aren’t...This should be easy for you to use too! But I really hate checking 4 times a day!

Features now locked and require payment. After getting used to the app over the last 6 months for my family member’s diabetes, I just found that I can no longer get an A1C calculation in the app without subscribing to one of the new plans. There is literally a digital lock where that calculation would be. This is truly poor form. App team should have grandfathered in prior users as opposed to requiring payment for features that were previously gratis.

No decimal point. Was a fantastic app until the latest update there is no decimal point when recording glucose levels.

Decimal point is missing. Loved it before - but in the new update, the decimal point is missing on the iPhone.

Diagnosed with Gestational Diabetes. Thank app creator for making a free app that helps me Keep record

Now just shuts down :(. App worked great for weeks - now just shuts down when I open it - have tried rebooting the phone and looking for updates to no avail - looks like I’ve lost that data now too.

Glucose app review. I use the lose it app to monitor my diet and overall health and was happy to see how the two apps link in together to help me achieve my health goals. I am very happy I chose this app

Glucose app review latest. Good app but I personally think it’s better to buy Accu-Chek as they provide same information and automatically linked to your iPhone and Health App. You don’t have to pay.

Whole numbers only. I have been using this App for some months but now I can only add whole number readings not any point readings

Was good until the latest update. It was a great app but after the latest update the graph chart requires you to pay. Very sneaky and greedy if you ask me.

Great so far!. Seems like a great app so far. I like that there is a way to create a glucose curve and chart the results so you can see the highs and lows, and create a proper graph. Excellent!! :)

Please fix app. Been using this app for last two years without any issues until recent update. Please fix the decimal point issue...your latest update has rendered a good app to being useless. Please fix ASAP. Thank you

Program problems. I am unable to get my reader to get an printout f’or my doctor.

Essayer! Facile à utiliser. Une application super bien fait . J’adore les graphiques et l espace pour écrire ce que j ai mangé. Shareware

Syncing. I would like to sinc the app to my iPhone from my iPad . How do I do this? Thankyou

New Charge for Graph. Used to be able to graph my history. Now only for a week unless subscribed. Looking elsewhere for such a simple feature.

Terrible update. Need a decimal to enter values. Currently looking for a new app.

Decimal point!. Since this update, no more decimal points. Please fix this issue!

Great app!. So easy to track blood glucose levels. Love the graph and the A1C approximation!

Used for several months. I’ve been used this app since June and really liked it. As of today I noticed now I have to pay to use use all the features that I’ve been using for months such as A1c calculation. Will be deleting and will find another app.

Helpful. I have gestational diabetes and my doctor wants me to send a record of my readings weekly. I love this app because I can log in what time I took my sugar an what I ate. It’s all there together and easy to do!

Added one star - now 4. This was 5 stars for me before the lasted updates. The most recent update allows me to see the values in dark mode but I lost the ability to tell which ones are out of range like I can with light mode. Add that back and I’ll make it a 5 star app again. Thanks!

It was a 5 decrease to 4. Reason for decrease in rating is because it used to estimate of A1c now it making me pay for it and I had this app for a few yrs on my phone. The reason I dled the app was because it gave me my A1c estimate and now it doesn’t. Not fair to long time app users. Looking for different app that will provide me with my A1c.

Easy to use. I’v tried several of these programs and I like this one the best. It is simple to use. I especially like the estimated A1C score. We’ll see how accurate it is when I see my doctor in a couple of months.

Now they want money for previously free features. This was a very good app, but now, suddenly, they want to charge for a1c results, perhaps the most important feature. If it were a small one time fee that would be ok. But $30 a year for a subscription - not such a great idea. It’s amazing how disease is looked at as a profit-maker. Shameful.

Best app. Love this app. Rely upon it for long time now. It records everything in one place which is what I require. Provides reports easily to my physicians. When I had a synching issue developers were quick to respond. Subscription is well worth it!

Greedy and Sneaky. To bad with the new update there is now a premium charge for things that have previously been free. I would add a star if it synced across devices. But to start charging for features that have been free for so long is highway robbery. I can get my A1C on the internet in a gazillion free sites. Definitely not worth $30 a year. I will be looking for a different app to track my glucose. Your greediness has ruined an almost perfect app used by people trying to manage a lifelong progressive disease. Shame on you.

Lame ap. This went from being a great ap and very useful to a lame ap very fast. No added features. Same old ap yet they got greedy and started charging for features that had been free. Customer service went from super responsive to nonexistent as well. Greed at it’s fines. What a shame. Time to find a new ap. Apparently they block your reviews if You give bad ratings too!

Great app ruined!. I just wanted to let you know how deeply disappointed I am that you have decided to take away the most important and useful feature of this app. The A1C estimate was a great benefit to me. But the allure of the damnable subscription model has won out. I would have gladly paid a one-time price for this app. Now, I guess I will be searching for a new app. I thought your team really wanted to help us through our diabetic journey. The true reason has become apparent. It’s a darn shame.

Sad. I think it’s sad to charge for something you’ve been doing ever since I owned the app, which is giving an average A1c. Diabetes is stressful as it is and now you’re going to charge $4.95/mth simply to avg up blood sugar readings to get an avg A1c? All someone has to do is record for three months and then avg the readings. Shame on you for taking advantage of people with this horrible disease and who, most, probably can’t afford additional fees per month for something they could easily do themselves.

I’d give it 10 stars if I could. I love this app! I struggle with my glucose. I needed something that wouldn’t add to the chaos that is my life. This app is super simple, amazing easy to use and just amazing. Thank you so much for making an app for people who can’t afford to spend money on add ins they don’t need!

Great. I’m always on the go and have been looking for an app for my sugar instead of having to try and remember to write it down at the end of the day. This one is the best make my day so much easier. Thanks a million. CK

Contour Next meter. Love this meter, super easy to use. Doesn’t require a lot of blood, seriously. Easy to pair with your iPhone and have trends, results at your fingertips. I would strongly recommend. A big plus it’s very affordable at Walmart😊A+ on The Contour Next meter

Reminders now much worse!. I’ve been using this app successfully for many months - in the last eeek or so, the reminder settings and view have changed - very much for the worst!!! I now have much less ability to set / change times during the day/ now only 15 minute time blocks??? The version history says “Improved reminder settings” - no, they’re not!

Love this App!! Best one of all!. I have tried many many other apps but keep using this one because it is the best. This works GREAT with Apple Watch too!! You can see your readings on the Watch!!!!

Basic info. This app only lets you do basic recording of readings. You can’t do anything else unless you pay the yearly fee. There’s no way to send info to your doctor without paying. I would like to be able to print off my records without having to pay for it.

Excellent App. This is such an invaluable tool. You did a fantastic job developing this app. Thank you for your hard work and the bonus of making it free and with no annoying ads. Thank you and Keep up the good work.

Only thing I would fix. I can’t find a way to have my data be in multiple devices. I don’t want to carry my iPad with me everywhere and it would be nice if I could use the app on my phone when out and about

Simple, easy; Exactly what I was looking for. I had been using a different app but got tired of all the adds and limited free features so I tried Glucose and couldn’t be happier. A very simple, clean, easy to use interface that does exactly what I wanted.

Needs work and no Subsrcriptions. Doesn’t sink between devices. Cannot enter everything on one screen. Requires subscription. I was thinking this was going to be the app for me until everything LOCKED and now needs a monthly subscription. I do NOT do subscriptions and have no desire to pay a monthly fee and be nickel and dimed into poverty. A one time fee I might pay if they fixed somethings, but I am not paying every month for the rest of my life

Disappointed. My husband and I have been using this app for over a year. It was an easy app but then came the changes, different PDF file, NO A1C for free and never providing feedback to questions. I have become very disappointed in this app and will be searching for a new one.

Does what I need it to do. Simple, easy to use. The filtering by time of day is exactly what I needed along with the reminders. My diabetes councilor asked for the name of this app so she could share with others.

Now they want to “monetize” your data.. After using it for some time they took away estimated A1C and made it a paid only feature. After collecting your data they decided to hold some of it hostage for $$$. Can not trust them! They could do the same with my records in the future. Don’t depend on this app if you value your health data!

Excellent!!. I have used this app for about 4 Month’s now, and I absolutely love it!!! Not only can I log my Blood Sugar’s but it even gives me my A1C. I really like this app because the app told me my A1C was 7.6 and when I went to my Endo appointment... it was actually 7.7!!! Definitely recommend it:))

Going downhill. I enjoyed this app for quite some time, but now I’ve got to pay to see a guess at my A1C? Must admit I’m proud of what I have it down to, and it would be nice to see this back for free.

Best I’ve used. This is an excellent application. I dropped it for a while when my healthcare provider sent a new glucose meter that included an app. That app is really nowhere near as good as this one. This is just the best for me anyway.

Nice A1C - Bad report output. I like this app because they automatically calculate the A1C average. I’ve tried other apps and this app is easiest for A1C. Fields are easily customized for input as well. On the negative, I have to use a second glucose app, side-by-side, to get the reports I need to email my doctor. All “Types” of info all appear in a single column: Weight 210 Glucose 125 A1C 5.3 This is very hard to read. All “Types” should be in their own column. Column A Date, Column B Type, Column C Weight, Column D A1C , for example. And daily Values then entered in rows This is so easy to do in CSV export with just a little refiguring. In the meantime I’m using 2 apps just to get the reports I need.

It WAS great. It was going great and then today I wake up and it’s a paid app. Can’t see your A1C now they want you to pay for it after 6 months of using it. Should have been a paid app from the start.

A1C Ransom!!!. I’ve used this app for 9 months and loved it. Now comes the A1C ransom. Sure, I realize the developers need to make money but, as others have noted, a one time fee is fairer than a monthly/annual subscription. You guys (developers) are acting like this a gaming app, when instead, the people who use this have a serious medical condition, and rely on the A1C reading to stay healthy. Shame on you for a bait and switch scam!

Smart. Amen for an app that does not force you to create a user account unless it is absolutely necessary. The other 2 in the top 3 search results failed this test.

Simple and effective. I love this app much better than glucose buddy—which is what I used previously. It’s easy to record BG and to make a simple note of what foods were eaten, and when. Also the love A1C indicator from averaging BG. So far, loving the app!!

Good but watch out for the ball buster. I’ve been using this app for a little over four months and it WAS a great a little app to track all of my needs. Now they have cut out some of the items it tracks and in order to get them back, they want you to pay $4.99 a month! Grab a piece of paper and a pen and do just as good a job as this app. Unfair to public to suddenly change to a MONTHLY fee to do what they’ve already been doing FOR FREE!!!

They got greedy. This used to be a nice app when I got it a little over a year ago. It was free then and I’d happily paid $3 to $5 dollars to keep it. But then they started fencing off functionality that used to be free such as showing your estimated A1c and graphing for more then 7 days unless you pay a monthly fee. Totally not worth it and makes the free version pretty useless.

Money Trap. Would be a decent app if the developers weren’t greedy. There is nothing that this app does that you should pay some greedy developer a subscription. This app should be a one-time purchase. Set a price, and then don’t try to be greedy. I won’t feel sorry for this developer when Apple inevitably incorporates these very simple recorder and calculator functions into the Health app, and forces these developers to find another way to rob people.

Finally getting serious. This app actually works. It’s helped me a lot. I’m going to upgrade this weekend. I spent all my money on hot pepper plants😂. Seriously I can’t wait to have full version.

Great Help. I’ve only been using it for a few days, but I can see the long-term benefits. It helps keep me on my toes and since I have my phone with me wherever I go, it’s easy to keep a record of my testing. I’ve ordered next step one and hope that it will sync as seamlessly as it’s write ups

Easy app to use, good tracking. I have tried several other apps for tracking my blood glucose levels and my weight. This one allows me to setup reminder for meds, enter measurements, and see trends easily. This app is the best so far.

Finally a simple app for tracking meter readings. Not padded with extra features and in-app purchases, makes entry as simple as launch-click-type. If Developer wants to add features, please do so without compromising the simplicity.

Best GL Free Tracker. I tried several apps before this one, but if you just want to track your GL every day and see over time how you are doing, this is one I would recommend. The graph is a great addition and you can also add notes to your entry. If I could print out this graph, it would be a five-star rating for sure!

Track your health. In one easy to use app you can track ALL your vital health statistics! Glucose of course, but also weight, blood pressure, heart rate, insulin, and keep track of your medications, too!

Unethical. I have used this app since being diagnosed with type 1 in May. Have sung it’s praises to my doctors. However now if you want your Est A1C you must pay a fee. To me this is profiting off desperate people. The cost of having diabetes is horrible to be begin with. The amt of supplies you need is overwhelming. And if that is not enough. Now we must pay to get a simple mathematical calculation. Nice going. Will be looking for other apps.

Went from 5 star to 1 star. Loved using this app to track my a1C but now that feature is locked and I have to use a paid monthly or yearly subscription for that feature? Not worth it to me. A one time fee for the app and maybe I would bite but not a recurring subscription for the 1 feature most diabetics want. Guess I go back to just letting my doctor tell me what my a1c is every 3-6 months.

I’ve tried them all, and this by far is the best. It is very simple but has everything I need. Super user friendly!! I literally downloaded every glucose tracker I could find and this one is easiest to use!

Used to be.... I have used this app for over a year and enjoyed it. It has helped me- mostly to track my blood sugar levels and my A1C. Now the developers got greedy and the latest update means now I have to pay for the A1C levels! No thank you, I will move on and find another app that doesn’t try to extort my money. That’s what the ads are for anyway.

So easy to use!. Love the simplicity of this app. I wanted something very straightforward, with no extra features to complicate things. Just input your readings, and that’s it! If you’re looking for something simple, this one wins!

This was my favorite till today. I have used this for about 8 months and it was a favorite of mine. Today I got on and 8 months of data was whipped clean. I have no data at all for the last 8 months!!! Edit I did the apple health sync and it pulled my info back in but seriously this should never happen!!

Added Ketone tracking!. This has always been a great app. It just got better since they added the ability to track keytones! This app is obviously very useful for diabetics, but is also great for anyone who is following a ketogenic diet!

Simple and effective!. Thank you for such a nice simple and effective app! This is one of the only glucose apps that let you export your numbers without a 30-60 dollar upsell. Thank you again!

Excellent app. Simple and easy to use. One of the best app’s I have used. Dr likes it to, easy to read without having to go through a bunch screens to get to what information you want, it’s right there!!
