Excited and a few recommendations!. Would be cool if you could mix module sizes to create your own meals. Excited for the allergies to be included in recommendations and would be great to see ability to choose multi-allergies. Is there a place to input which modules you have so it takes that into account when meal planning ? Excited to put it to use!

Good App. Well made app, greate design. Wishing for more recipes to come and more features seen in the kickstarter video.

silly names/needs more chefs. I think having more than two chefs would bring more diversity to the menu. There's a lot of beet/salmon/slaw recipes... Also, the app could use some work. I think it would be cool to be able to customize your box. The recipes come with a main and a side...so if I like THIS side but THAT main course, I think it would be nice to be able to customize it so I don't have to go back and forth between two meals. A better description up front, and detailed names instead of silly, cringey names would be better IMO.

Reviewer. I have never managed to get this app to open. It crashes every time. Deleting and reinstalling has not helped.

72 =/= "hundreds". I suppose the app is fine if you have no other recipe resources, but it has been completely useless to me. The app was supposed to give backers "hundreds" of recipes but was released less than even 100 (72, to be exact) and no updates months later. If you have dietary restrictions, that number dramatically drops. You lose 10 of them if you don't eat fish. There's only 32 for gluten free, only 34 are vegetarian, and so on... If you can't eat raw kale, you're left with very few options. The recipes were made for the fall release and in-season foods at that time are now, in spring, either unavailable or prohibitively expensive. Brussels sprouts, for example, are now nearly $5.00 for a bunch in my area. Getting the app before the box arrived set me up for some really incorrect expectations. The "recipes" (I can barely call "cut up an apple" a recipe) are supposed to be made specially for the Prepd pack but they don't fit. The small container is shown several times holding an entire sliced apple. I had obviously expected the box (which arrived 6 months late) to be large enough to fit an apple but even the smallest of apples is too large. The point of the box and it's sets of extra interior containers is batch prep cooking, but the app is so poorly organized that it's difficult to put together a week's menu. You can look through and think "okay, this one has kale and so does this one so..." but otherwise you'll have only 1 or 2 dishes with overlap. I do suppose it would be good for someone losing weight since a full "serving" doesn't fit in it. The sauce container is one tablespoon, the small containers being shown used for yogurt and fruit would be really tight with the 1/3 cup listed on the tub as a "serving" of Fage. This, though, makes the box tied to the app as recipes found elsewhere are unlikely to fit and won't give you the full calorie count. Pass on this app. Pass on the box. There are better and less expensive options for batch prep cooking.

High in Calories and Carbs and Expensive. I'm super excited for this product to get on its feet but right now you can't search through the recipes very easily. All of them are high in carbs and in calories. Many of them are strange and I wouldn't eat. It would be better if they could include recipes with higher protein and less carbs. Plainer recipes. I do love the feel of the app though so it has a good base structure. However, the box is $70 and then you have to add all the accessories. That's incredibly expensive. What's keeping me from getting a trendy lunch pack and just getting recipes from online that actually fit my macro count?

Forget the App How about the Product. The app is decent and but the product never seems to get to the crowdfunders. The product delivery is months and months behind shipping and that is not really an issue, when you crowd fund just expect delays. What is unacceptable is when the campaigner after promising a delivery at long last goes completely dark and does not respond to questions or emails. It is bad customer service and if they are trying to start a business based on this product and the almost 3 million raised between Kickstarter and Indigogo they are not off to a good start. I would not bother with the app or ordering the product until their site says " In Stock" believe me the 4 to 6 weeks is a lot longer wherever these folks are from. All of this could be resolved if they just remained in contact with their customer base and were honest.

Needs more updates. This app is a great resource with the Prepd pack, but it hasn’t been updated in a year. Would really love to see more recipes and regular updates.

Poor Design. This app does not deliver what was promised. No special diets and many of the meals are high in calories

Very high calorie recipes. Almost all of the 72 recipes are very high in calories!!! Not at all what they made it sound like it would be

Good Start. Offers some great ideas for meals and you are able to change the portion if you are prepping for more than 1 of the same meals at a time. However I wish the calorie count was done a bit differently so it showed you separate counts (i.e the soup calories and the cracker calories) so that you can either mix and match or if you decide not to make a "side" (ex. the mini peanut butter banana sandwich) you would have a more accurate calorie count if your tracking your calories.

Prepd Pack. Received my pack 3/3/17, finally. Very handsome. Haven't tried recipes but headed to store & will report back.

1307kcal meal??. I was looking forward to getting this app to see all the wonderful delicious and healthy recipes. However, i'm a little upset at the calorie count of some of these recipes. I thought the whole point of Prepd was to help "control what you eat" at "the most difficult time of day" if I'm gonna make one meal of 800 calories, for me it kinda defeats the purpose. (Sooo unsure as to how the Vegan Box is 1307kcal?) To end on a high note, I can't wait to receive the Prepd box, and I'm looking forward to more recipes!!

Vegan/ vegetarian options. I have been waiting for this app for so long and I'm so excited! I have a couple of suggestions right off the bat on how to improve the app, especially for dietary restrictions. In the "explore" section I would love to be able to search by more than one category at once, such as "gluten free" and "vegetarian" at the same time. With 29 vegetarian options there is some good variety, but so far there are only 6 vegan options. I know there will be expansion on recipes with time, but something that I would like is for the ingredients that are not vegan in vegetarian dishes to have vegan alternatives listed that would not compromise the integrity of the recipe. For example, on the Meatless BBQ Box, i could replace yogurt with coconut yogurt and cheddar cheese with a soy cheese alternative, but I'm not sure what I could replace egg with as a binding agent... that would be helpful to have suggestions for. Overall, I'm so excited for this app and I can't wait for my lunch boxes to be delivered!!

Doesn't do anything. This App doesn't appear to do anything - or am I missing something?

Exceeds me expectations. A lot of content, easy to use, can't wait to receive my prepd pack.

App does not work on older iOS versions. iOS 9.0.2, 9.1, 9.2, and 9.2.1 confirmed not working. And not available for the iPad at all. Not a very available, universal or useable app. Seems to be rushed, even though they've had almost a year now...developers seem to be wasting Kickstarter backer's time and money.

Looks great so far!. I just got my lunchbox in the mail this week so I downloaded the app and I'm happy so far. There's a good selection of vegetarian recipes and I'm sure there will be more to come. The design is great and I like how they specify how long something will take. I'm surprised to hear that people are concerned that the recipes are very high calorie. Most of the recipes that are showing up for me are 500-600. Any less than that and I'd be starving. I hope they keep adding more recipes. I'm happy with the variety and ease of what I see thus far. Keep it up, guys! Thanks for my awesome lunchbox!

What's the point if the product never arrives!. This company is a scam.

Stop reviewing the box, review the app!. Yeah, yeah. We all know, the lunch boxes are delayed. I still haven't even gotten mine and I ordered in September. That's not what the APP reviews are for. This app is actually fine. The recipes, or lack thereof, are the problem. 1300 calories for a vegetarian lunch. For real? That's more than a Chipotle burrito. The vast majority of the 72 recipes are incredibly high in calories or carbs. I have faith that as they have more recipes suggested, the app and options will improve. For now, no sense in really using the app. I use FitMenCook currently, and will continue to do so, especially with my meal planning with the new lunchbox.

Very high carb recipes. I'd like to see maybe a section in the app for paleo meals, or ketone diet. That would be awesome; and I would use this every day if that were the case! Otherwise, this app is useless to me. Nice visual design tho.

Only Two Problems. Love the lunchbox and the app. Great recipes. I only wish you could separate the sides from the main dishes and add them separately to your shopping list/meal plan. Sometimes I only want one or the other! Also I really wish you could change your dirty preferences to filter out recipes with certain ingredients. I keep seeing recipes with beets in them and I hate beets, but they just keep coming up!

Love This App!!!. I was able to beta test this app and really love how simple it is to use. Can't wait to use it with my Prepd Pack when it arrives in a few weeks!!!

Want to use with Trello. I wish you could select the text and copy the ingredients list from within the app. This would allow you to paste into the checklist feature in Trello for my weekly meal board. Update - the recipes are now set up on Pinterest so you can copy and paste full lists for meal prepping into Trello's checklist feature. Pinterest also allows you to mix and match more easily.

Calories are Misleading & Customer Service Doesn't Respond in App. I love my prepd pack and the recipes are delicious, but in doing some of my own calculations, the calorie counts are way off. Not great when one of the filters is "low calorie." Also there is a feature to message customer service in the app, however no one responds to you. It's been over 2 weeks with no response.

Hmmm?? I'm disappointed.... I ordered a "PREPP" box --2 months ago(?)... I "guess" it's shipping soon(?)...I'm secretly happy I DID NOT buy this as a gift for a Friend. I went with my better judgement and thought I would try it out first. Honestly... I guess I only have my self to blame for being disappointed. It's NOT that I haven't received it yet...I have just lowered my expectations a lot... so no big deal whenever it shows up... It's that I believed the hype. They just launched the "PREPPED APP." It looks like they have "75 tested recipes listed. I scrolled thru them trying to get an idea on my "future meals". The meals "look cute" in the photo...BUT-- NOW. "Touch" the Nutrition Button on the top right side. The button expands and gives you in greater detail more nutrition information. I remember the PREPPED BOX being promoted as "healthy alternative to grabbing junk food for lunch, great portion control, {I'm paraphrasing --but THOSE were the reasons why I bought it}~ Getting back to the Nutrition info provided. One of the Breakfasts listed has a little shy of 1,400 CALORIES😳- I "get" Breakfast is the "most important meal of the day"-- but am I supposed to eat an ENTIRE day's calories in ONE MEAL?😳 Other items that jumped out at me were the number of ingredients-- one meal required "11 ingredients"-- another meal took 75 minutes of Prep time...another meal had 53 Carbs and minimal protein...Ekkk! 53 CARBS in one meal.?? OHHH MY! To their credit-- they provide this info...They have a feature where if you are doing meal prep for the week-- you can "click" and indicate instead of 1 serving size.. it can increase to 2, or 3-- but.. HEY... we coulda figured THAT out on our on right?!?--etc...I think I saw one meal that was 350 calories...another dinner had 700 calories...that's manageable .... Ohhh did I mention I suspect they might even be planning on charging in the future for recipes? Totally a guess on my part--but they want a CC info before you can download the App. Fooled me once.. Shame on you.. Fool me twice.. Shame on me... I won't be buying anything else from PREPPED. So ... yes.. I've got to say I'm pretty disappointed --and I haven't even received my PREPPED BOX. It is I'm afraid to say a very cute looking, but very expensive $100+ lunchbox. Since the PREPPED box is so "artsy"-- maybe I just put it on a shelf in my office as a reminder NOT to buy anything off of FB....which is feeling very similar to buying something off tv at 3am😂

Still won't open on iOS 9. Version 0.8.1 released on 22 December still crashes on startup on iOS 9. Unusable.

Won’t even load. The app hasn’t been updated in so long it no longer opens. I’d hoped that it would be updated for both lunchbox recipes and Prepd baking sheet recipes. Disappointed.

Luncheon it up!. I love this box so far. I've done one shopping with the recipes and it was pretty fun and great to prepare lunch in 30 minutes for two days. I've also stuffed leftovers in for a couple days. It helps me to be creative about what to bring that I already have. Just hoping for a lot more recipes and also more intuitive shopping experience. For example it would be good to be able to easily change how many servings I want to buy ingredients for right from the shopping list. Thx!

Needs Health Kit support. The main reason for me to use a food app would be to combined the data with my Health app to better track my overall progress. The recipes in here are creative but most have very expensive or harder to find ingredients. Please consider having a good mix of more simple lunch recipes, also some healthy but affordable salad options. I personally don't see myself using this app without health kit and more basic lunch recipes.

For someone that doesn't cook.... I do not have this specific lunch box, but I have one just like it. Bento style. Regardless, I like to keep things simple (because who really puts together a extravagant lunch every day to bring to work) So I really enjoy the recipes and the funny names they are called. Simple, I like it. The only thing I think is crazy, is the price of the lunch box itself. And for that price, I would at least expect all accessories included-chopsticks AND the fancy fork and spoon. With that said, I do love where they are going with this and I am happy to see it becoming something.

Yummers. Food from Prepd app was great, made two meals so far. So nice to be able to eat outside knowing I have everything I need in one lunchbox. Would like to see the carbohydrates value transfer correctly from app to Apple Health app, all other nutrition information seemed right!

Needs an update. The app itself is great and made well but needs a format update as it doesn’t fill my entire screen and has a weird keyboard format.

Nearly perfect!. This app is amazing!! The only thing I have a problem with is the limited amount of recipes and that the app connects with the Apple Health app but not myfitnesspal. Both are minor issues that I'm sure we'll be corrected over time! I love this app for quick and fun lunch ideas before I go grocery shopping.

No updates. I wanted to start using my lunchbox again but... I’m really surprised this app has not gotten any new recipes since the Kickstarter.

Disappointing. The recipes have not been updated since the app launched. Some recipes are VERY high calorie (1300-1600 for lunch). Many recipes' calorie listings appear to be incorrect. You cannot list ingredients that you are allergic to. This app is supposed to accompany a lunch box that has been delayed over 6 months with inadequate communication. Don't waste your time.

Great at first. The app was a fantastic companion when the Prepd packs first shipped. Lack of new recipes and support for newer devices make this tough to keep around. Was hoping tastemade would really take this to the next level, but maybe the new kickstarter will give this a shot of adrenaline. Lack of updates for a year + has killed this. It’s a shame since it was a big factor in kickstarting the pack

Great recipes!. The recipes are really good, have tried several and I have my pack so lunch has been very pleasant and organized. Can you please add more recipes!

Unusable app. This app instantly crashes, making it unusable. I'm on IOS 8 or 9 I think which isn't unreasonable. Extremely disappointed.

Waited so long for this. Every time I try to open the app it crashes. I thought it might be my phone space but even deleting items doesn't help.

Never update. The number of recipes available is far too low for how long the app has been out. I definitely regret buying the box. The size is restrictive to other foods so the recipes are important. The recipes that are there are high maintenance and high calorie.

Wow! Terrific design & Functionality.. Not many apps are as complete as this one and still remain simple and user-friendly. The well-engineered lunchbox is replicated with the equally well-engineered app. While waiting for our Prepd shipment to arrive, we can still get into the recipe browsing and ingredients procurement. So much fun! Thanks, C/W/L

Doesn't work. The app crashes when I try to open it

Reply to Ulfur. Don't rate an app based on your own bias and opinions on kickstarters and on a product you don't have. I just got my prepd pack in and I was a pretty late backer i believe. Yes there are hardships in developing a product when you have no experience, especially when the type of product you are making hasn't been done already. I'm sorry you have poor choice in the products you back...

I really like this experience. I feel like Chris and Will delivered. I receive my kickstarter order last week, and I'm very impressed! The cool sticks really give the lunchbox the necessary support it needs. I am also very impressed with the offerings of the mobile app. I would love to see some slicker application animations. 5 stars, nonetheless.

Awesome Options. I know the app is still a work in progress (they're adding more options) but I set up my profile already and was floored with the selection of fast, healthy recipes. I'm motivated to stock up on more containers and bulk prep in them along with my other bento boxes. Fast navigation with no bugginess. Well worth the wait!

I have faith they'll fix the app. Talk to the people over at Platejoy. They know what they're doing with regards to recipes ;) At first I was shocked by the high calorie counts on the meals but then realized that it was the calorie count for the lunch AND snacks or breakfasts that make up the lunch box. As someone that logs calories into Lose it! This makes it complicated to divvy up the calories between snacks/breakfasts/lunches. Would be great to have calorie counts for each part of the recipe. Additionally, the names of the recipes are way too silly. I want to know what the food is - not a silly title.

Sync between devices and with HealthKit. Prepd should improve compatibility on a few fronts: - your marketing/photography shows use on an iPad; today this is not possible. - Prepd should sync with HealthKit; this will log calories for me. - Prepd should sync across multiple devices; if I (in the future) use my iPad to plan my meals, but my phone to purchase groceries then I'm not fully supported by this app. - I'd like to see my grocery list be sync'd or exported to a reminders list or somewhere i can aggregate all of my shared to-do lists.

Great!. Not at any issues with the app crashing. It is smooth and the interface is clean. Forward to using this more often when my Prepd lunch box arrives!

Great, and Will Get Better. I love the app, and can't wait to get the product itself when I return home (I'm traveling at the moment). True, others note that there are "only" 72 recipes, but with the invention of the Internet I find I'm hardly limited to only these recipes. If you want even more options, experiment a bit! As with anything just starting from scratch, it's a work in progress. They'll come out with more recipes in time; I look forward to seeing them. :-)

Great well rounded app. The recipes all look great, and the app is very well designed. Can't wait for my prepd boxes to arrive to try them out

Perfect my lunchbox!!!!. I received the Prepd pack today. It's so amazing! simple, good qualities items, beautiful bamboo design and delicacy. If you buy this pack, you will never regret it.

Won't open. Will not open tried downloading twice and both times it tries to load on the blue screen with a white p and then crashes using iphone6plus

Great Start!. The app looks super clean and matches the simplicity and beauty of Prep box itself. It's good to see my first recommended recipe is vegan! Can't wait for the update which introduces dietary restrictions and I'm also looking forward to seeing more vegan friendly recipes! Great work 👍🏼 keep it up

Outdated. The app is wonderful and I have used it before. However, I cannot give a good mark on this app simply because it does not support the iPhone X,XR, and XS. The application has not included any new recipes and I’m almost certain the app is no longer in development.
