Gorgeous and brilliant. As a designer and illustrator for over 20 years, I have to admit that this game drew me in with its beautiful art and interface. That is absolutely no slight to it’s puzzles and soundscapes. I actually first came upon Amanita with Mechanarium and Samorost was my third purchase after Botanicula. All of the games I’ve garnered thus far have been beyond worth the investment. I’m so enamored of these guys and their productions. Bravo!!!

Best Game Ever. This game has almost ruined all games for me because I can't find one that can hold up to this one. I've played all the games they've put out and have really enjoyed them all but this one is by far my favorite! The puzzles, imagery, characters, everything is brilliantly thought out! It's a masterpiece, LOVED the game! I can't say enough wonderful things about it, I was so sad when it ended. I keep checking back to see if the developers have put any new games out.

Wonderful. So beautiful and creative... Loved it!! Some puzzles took days, weeks and even months to figure out, so it’s definitely geared more towards people that enjoy exploring, but hopefully in this instant gratification world that doesn’t put you off. Hats off to developers for another gem in their series. If you haven’t already tried Botanica & Mechanarium, I highly suggest you check them out next.

Possibly better than Machinarium. (Daughter speaking.) I’ve played and completed both Machinarium and Samorost 3 now and I can’t decide which is better. These two are my favorite games because they can be played over and over and over again and never get old. Machinarium is perfect — I think Samorost is better, but Samorost is much much shorter than Machinarium, I think. Love the music and sounds. My mom hates noise but she doesn’t mind Samorost 3 (or Minecraft lol).

Terrific game I love it.. I am one of those that cannot spend time playing a game because I get bored or tired of it pretty easily, however this game, as well as Machinarium have gotten my attention and believe me I can’t put them down. They both are so interesting, and engaging. Also, this type of games makes you use your brain, pay attention to details and use logic. I really recommend both games. If you like puzzles, gaming and also looking for entertainment buy these one, you will not regret it.

Something very special. The game has no rules, you can’t die, and there are no points. You explore and come across delightfully insignificant wonders as you start to figure out what you are here to do. Did I mention it’s stunning musically and visually? One caveat—the bigger the screen the better. You could be very disappointed on a tiny screen. I have a standard iPad.

A universe with harmony and variety. This beautiful game shows an interesting world full of life. I like its idea of using music to communicate with everything. The puzzles are designed well, though some are difficult and I had to use walkthrough for help. In short, you will experience a journey like fairy tale, which will strengthen your love of this world.

Beautiful game, slightly unclear gameplay. This was a truly beautiful and ultimately enjoyable game. I wish there were some more subtle hints on what you should be doing in each level, so you didn’t have to resort to the hint book which tells you how to do the whole level. It was also a little shorter than I expected, which I guess is why they leave the gameplay unclear (to make the game last longer).

Piece of artwork, the music is beautiful. Not a big fan of game.. that said, this game is totally different from normal ones and the graphic is gorgeously done! The storyline is very unique - a touch of environmentalism, which i love! This is my first game from Amanita Design. Definitely gonna try out the other two! Highly recommended👍🏻

Beautiful journey. Just finished this game and I’m sad it’s over (as I feel with all Amanita design games). It was so beautifully crafted, and tricky enough to make it exciting but not too frustrating. There’s just really nothing else out there like it.

Rich characters and story. Just to point out, even though the characters don’t really talk, they have interesting personalities. Also... I feel that ALL ages (expect under 3) can play! 1 thing though, the game felt a little to short and when I’d finished, I didn’t have anything to do in here...

Omg. I LOVE this game. The graphics are awesome, the puzzles are challenging, and you have a book to unlock with various puzzles to get hints that aren't too obvious, so it doesn't ruin the experience. I can't WAIT to see what Amanita Design comes up with next. I have played all their games. Brilliant.

Great game. One of the best games I've played...I don't understand why others say they couldn't save their progress.... I had no problem saving any stage of the game...I loved it from beginning to end..I'm buying every game they have out now and will be waiting and watching for the next new game...well worth the money...Great game...

AWESOME but stuck. (SPOILERS AHEAD) I love love love this game but I’m stuck I cannot find the seed that looks like a apple! I’ve tried everything! I decided to leave but I was stuck I think that was a awesome idea but maybe not make the instructions look like my algebra homework! Super hard level super hard-to-understand instructions and I can’t even leave!!!!!!

Amazing! Very creative.. I really enjoy the interaction. I'm not through the adventure yet. Im sure I will get stuck a time or two. The sounds and music are wonderful. This app is not stuck on language. It manages to avoid language and understanding in a creative universal way. Love it...

A masterpiece- I ADORE THIS GAME. I have really never seen art this stunning on the apple store, it really outclasses even the best. This game is wonderful, so much so that, like a good book, I almost couldn’t put it down (but not in the “addicted to a game” kind of way). It’s a wonderful adventure with beautiful music and puzzles, when I got home from it all and saw my dog and got in bed(in-game), it actually brought tears to my eyes, it was that effective. I love this game.

Stunning. I don't normally play puzzle adventure type games, but this one looked interesting because the developer is named after a type of psychoactive mushroom. It's a nearly perfect game. The bizarre, psychedelic worlds are beautiful. The sound effects never cease to amuse. The music is well placed and powerful. My one complaint is also a warning: the save/load section in the menu is not marked as such and I accidentally loaded a previous save and lost a good chunk of progress. I swore I was going to deduct a star because of the frustration (they should really have some kind of warning or something), but I just couldn't bring myself to do it. This is a five star game. I just downloaded Botanicula and it's also pretty awesome so far.

Bemusing game of exploration and play. I’ve seen many reviews complaining about the lack of instructions or guidance in the game. And they’re correct, there is very little...but this is why I enjoyed it. I felt like the little character in the story, not sure what I’m supposed to be doing yet intrigued by the odd characters and awed by the new worlds. And willing to jump in and just see what happens. I like discovering how a game is played, especially since I’m one who enjoys poking, prodding, and pulling any button, lever, bug, leaf, asteroid, crater, etc. there is...just to see what happens. The story and humor are whimsical and silly. I can see parents playing it with their younger kids and giggles spilling out from both. The art and music are rich and colorful, full of fun. They’re the stars of this game. So if you’re a gamer that needs more depth to a story and prefers more structure and guidance in a game, this isn’t for you. But if you enjoy meandering across quirky worlds, and stopping to smell the alien flowers, then Samorost 3 will charm you.

Gorgeous and challenging. I played the iPhone edition and my review reflects that experience. First, as other reviews have noted, the graphics, animations, and storyline are off the hook in this game - absolutely gorgeous (and the gnome is too adorable for words). For me, the puzzles were extremely challenging - I could usually figure out the gist of what I was supposed to do, but often needed a walkthrough to get the details. That is probably a reflection of my own inexperience, though. My only real complaint is that the graphic elements on the iphone are sometimes so small that they are difficult to manipulate - when they are smaller than a fingertip, it's hard to see what you are doing. Not unexpected, but occasionally frustrating. All that said, this game was well worth the purchase price for the hours of enjoyment I got out of it!

Beautiful game but complicated. This game is simply the most beautifully crafted game. The graphics are a wonderful piece of art. Truly. But this game is also a bit complicated to get through and at times, not exactly intuitive to figure out the puzzle. I’ve had to use the walkthrough online to get through a good chunk of these tasks. Still a great game though!

AMAZING!!!!!!!!. I ended up finishing it in one week and was waiting for more. The way thos app was set up just astonishing. At first I thought it would be an app that you could do in 5 mins and is nothing like the sample But once i started this app i instantly fell in love.

Great Fun!. A cute story/puzzle. It was fun figuring out the puzzles. I sometimes, though, have gone to the hints sooner rather than later and this game has a perfect hint system! No words, just rough diagrams that are puzzles themselves but you won't have much difficulty figuring them out. I don't think I could have done all of the puzzles without any hints.

Just WOW!. This game is so intriguing. It is beautifully designed with many puzzles for you to solve. You’ve really gotta think to get through each puzzle and as the game progresses, you’re just waiting with anticipation to see what’s next. Hours of game enjoyment and mind bending fun!!!!!

Absolutely stunning visuals. The atmosphere is astounding, it makes you feel as if you are in the different planets the gnome goes to. It's such an odd and wonderful game and the work that was put into it really shows how passionate the creators are about their work.

Absolutely breathtaking.. I remember when I started playing this game, I immediately fell in love. Everything from the subtle character development, the art, the landscapes- as an aspiring game designer, this was the most inspirational game I’ve ever laid eyes on. I’m in love with every last bit! By the time I finished the game, I’ll admit I was in tears of pure joy. It’s so beautifully challenging, yet relaxing. I 100% recommend this game to anyone looking for a beautiful world they can get hopelessly lost in. Much love!♥️♥️♥️

I love Samorost so much. Weird & wonderful! The sound & visuals are luscious, engrossing & bizarre. I played it very slowly so I could draw it out, I just wanted to stay in Samorost 3's magical, mysterious, psychedelic universe forever. It's an odd & beautiful game, and I highly recommend playing Samorost 1 & 2 first - 1 is free online, 2 is only available for desktop but don't let that stop you. Heck, while you're at it, get Machinarium & Botanicula. The gameplay in Samorost 3 is the most abstract of all Amanita's brilliant games so far, so warming up with their other games is a good idea, not to mention incredibly fun.

Precious. I am not kidding. Everything about it is spot on, the non-violence, the design, the characters, the music, even how it ends is precious. It's niceness is infectious, and although it may sound a little too much for a game, I'm sure that if more games were like Samorost the World would be a better place.

I love all the aminita games. Samarost is beautiful and fantastically interactive. It makes me happy that other people appreciate the cheerful oddness. I want to meet them. Machinarium and Botanicula are two of my other all time favorite games. Please keep making them, we appreciate it!

Take time to enjoy it.. Become immersed in a world of unique music, amazing color, texture and a cast of unusual characters and settings. The last thing I wanted was to barrel through it. It’s an adventure so take your time, enjoy the visual artistry while you discover. Sure, I found myself stuck here and there, but that’s part of it, it’s a game. It’s different and that’s what makes it even more interesting and special. It may not appeal to everyone, but I absolutely love it. Thanks Amanita.

Uber creative. I've been working on this game for months! I take time out to go to work and live life, but when there's down time, this is what I turn to. It's a refreshing challenge compared to most contemporary games. Beautiful, charming graphics and musical themes with plenty of amusement. I hope to master this game one day. Also love Botanicula... which I've finally mastered after playing once last year, then three times this weekend. Lots of downtime this weekend :)

Beautiful. This game is beautiful. I have played all of the Samorost games since I was about 6 years old. I was so excited when I found this one. I love the lack of instructions. They just set you off. People that speak any language could play this. There is no element of being rushed, so you can take your time in all that you do in the game. Not to mention the story, which is great!! Overall, I love this game. Well worth the 6 dollars that I spent!

Glitch in game, no autosave of previous levels. Basically have to start over...forget it!. I am so frustrated with this game right now. Like a previous reviewer, my game glitched in the underground cave where you add an ingredient to a pot to create a bomb. I did what was required...but no bomb. Black creatures just kept singing and singing. I exited game and went to 'saved worlds' screen to reenter and all icons were of the scene at the very beginning of the game - identical. Not sure what would happen, I clicked on the highest numbered one, hoping it would return me to my most recent location. Nope. Back to the very first world. EVERY saved world icon brought me back to the first world. I don't feel like going through all those puzzles again! I loved Botanicula and Machinarium. I would really like a refund for this game. So disappointed.

Samorost 3 from Donboy. I loved this game a lot . Took me a few days to finish it due to it being a long game which I love. The scenery was very detailed and realistic to a point. I also loved to watch the little guy dance. I’m giving a 4 star rating not because the game was boring but I did play others simular to this but was a tiny bit better. All in all a great game.

One of my favourite games!. I picked this up at work recently (campus librarians get a lot of downtime) and beat it in a day. The art is gorgeous, every character and creature is adorable, the ability to interact with almost everything had me showing the game to all of my friends and touting how absolutely precious the entire game is. The puzzles can be a bit difficult and require some explanation, but honestly, it's rather in flavour for the game, as you're going through alien worlds anyway, so why not make everything alien? Really glad I picked this up, and will definitely be getting more games from this developer!

Doesn’t work with Family sharing. I purchased the collection and have family sharing on our Apple devices and thought these would be great for everyone. However, the app is somehow linked between all the devices so whatever one person has done automatically applies to all the other devices. So basically we are all playing the same game and are unable to discover things for ourselves. Total bummer since I spent $16 on all four games. They are beautiful games but i can’t enjoy them since my kid has played on her device and now my character has done whatever she did.

Are you kidding ?. This is for Amanita Design. I was actually checking to see if Pilgrims was offered for iOS - no. I have bought both Samorost 3 and Machinarium. They’re both good games, they both show some age, but they’re worth getting. I was really excited when I went to the app store and it just said “complete”. I checked and found that I could simply hit that button to get the other 2 games in the “bundle” for free!! Excellent, right ? WRONG !! I did, I was told they were installed, and then a pop-up appeared telling me they’re no longer available. Uh yeah, they ARE still available in the store, you just seem to no longer want to offer them as a free bundle. You have to now pay for them separately if you want them. Well Amanita if that’s the case, YOU SHOULD REMOVE THE COMPLETE BUTTON. I’ll have to check your supposed “sales” more carefully from now on.

Hunh?. No instructions so checked the user page on the developers site. Some helpful hints but no real instructions. What the user guide describes is only partially helpful because it does not match what is in my game. There is no settings icon on the first screen. Even if the icon was there you cannot get back to the first screen to use it. The Lore book is less than helpful. The game is beautiful and would be fun if it i could use it.

Great game. I loved playing this game. The wonderful music and the artistic new places were incredible. Sure it’s expensive, but it is a generally longish game. Will be trying out other games by this company soon! 10/10 would recommend.

Marvelous. This was actually a very engaging little game. It was kind of short, but that's okay; it worked for the story. The puzzles were always at the right difficulty level, and if they were too hard, you could always look in the red book in your opinions menu. In the book it would tell you how to solve it, but in a vague enough way that it was almost a puzzle in itself. That's why I don't understand all the complaints about difficulty and puzzles being too obscure. Firstly, when u think about it, all the puzzles were perfectly logical. And secondly, am I the only person who ever figured out to use the red book?! Seriously though. This is a really amazing game on so many levels. Buy it. And wear headphones.

the by far best game Ive had. As amanita games never fail to get me, this game is the best game of all. I have cried in this game and I have laughed in this game which really makes it so special. It is 100% worth the buy as well as all the other Amanita games. A beautiful game and my favorite💖💖

Great potential but.... Ok, graphics are awesome and so are the sounds. If you get stuck, it is easy enough to find help online. I’ve solved dozens of these types of games but I don’t seem to be smart enough to figure out the drop down menu or the save screen. A few basic instructions would be nice. This is an obvious oversight to me and a game of this quality and caliber needs some clarity and work in this area.

Ridiculous menu. As others have stated, the menu is atrocious. It’s so ridiculously nonsensical that after messing with it about a dozen times I’ve given up. Either the developers are non-English speaking and are too apathetic to get a translator, or they are just plain apathetic to begin with. Take your pick. Also, the game is pointlessly difficult. Any game where even a walkthrough video is no help should be deleted from the app store. Would give 0 stars if possible.

Great game. Okay first of all I would give five stars but half of the time i had to look up what to do and it is just so annoying. Anyway this game is gorgeous flying around in space is so cool and the soundtrack, oh the SOUNDTRACK! Yeah the graphics are so great and all but the sounds are my favorite anyway you should try this game i think its fun.

Love this game so much!. This is one of the best game I have ever played! Amazing story, graphic and music! Beautiful! It's a little bit confusing at the beginning, but once you get into it you really cannot stop! Anyone cannot figure it out is because you are lack of patience! Why does it get stuck?. I read great reviews and would like to have the Sam experience. I’ve had to resort to walk through but can’t proceed from the first planet. I’m well above spec on ios11. But there is a point where things appear for a while, then mushrooms should grow. This never happens for me. Tried deleting and starting over, but no dice. Maybe it’s my iPad mini, but then they are scamming me by not giving me the correct specs. disappointed. Wasted money.

Beautiful. Alot of people in these reviews have said there are no instructions. Theyre wrong. Its all in the mechanism book. This is such a cute and beautiful game. My only quarrel is that i wish it was longer and the world was bigger. It made me really sad when i finished it.

Great art, bad puzzles. Great art and sound design, but bad puzzles. Many of the later puzzles seem to require trial and error or logical leaps that aren't explained. The game is further hampered by optional puzzles which are not differentiated in any consistent way from the mandatory puzzles. The reward for solving an optional puzzle is a song which you'll never listen to. These puzzles make the mandatory puzzles harder because it's never clear if the puzzle you're stuck on is necessary to progress or a fun diversion. Even if you loved Machinarium I wouldn't waste your time with this.

What iPad or phone are you running it on. You need to meet the developers specs which they state in the description. Just because you have the latest OS doesn't mean it will work.

Beautiful & creatively designed game. A beautiful and creatively designed game with the expected high quality from Amanita Design. The graphics and soundtrack are really nice as are the little details that have been made. If you loved Machinarium then I think you will also enjoy Samorost 3. Since finishing this game I have revisited Machinarium and have enjoyed the experience for the second time. Hopefully they will continue the Machinarium and Samorost series. I definitely look forward to playing many more games from Amanita Design.

Awesome and immersive game. Thoroughly strange and rewarding, this game is an artistic gem. A bit short though. Worth your money? Depends on what your looking for in a game, I'd say yes. It's just a few dollars for an unreal, quality adventure. You'd likely spend the same or more for a quick feed and this is a fulfilling an unusual but moorish meal for your mind.

Pretty but frustrating. I couldn't find any ratings before I bought this but have played other games by this developer so bought it anyway. It is a beautifully crafted game but I found it impossible to progress without referring to walkthroughs. I'm usually quite good at these types of games but it was very frustrating to play.

Too Hard. Not sure if I’ve hit a glitch, but no amount of walkthroughs is getting me past part 3. Disappointing as I really enjoyed Samorost 1 and 2.

First time review. Absolutely stunning game!! First time i have ever been inspired by an iPhone game and first time I've ever felt a game worthy of a review!! Creativity in dreamlike design and soundtracks is, well.... breathtaking. So much care has been taken in production. I see people questioning puzzle difficulty?!? To give less then deserved star rating due to stupidity speaks for itself?!? God people love to whinge! This game is incredible!! Please please continue to produce game of this quality. Amazing. I never play games, and downloaded this out of curiosity, because the graphics looked interesting. I have been obsessed with it since. It's such an incredible creation, and so much imagination and work has been put to create the visuals and sounds. I can't wait for the next game from this team.

Adorably odd, and very good fun.. It was great to see another title from Amanita Design. I loved Machinarium and Botanicula for how much fun they were to play, even though for both games I had to resort to online walkthroughs. Samorost 3 is more of the same - which means it's just as fantastic to look at, with Amanita's characteristic hand-drawn artistic style; it has just as much character and charm; and it's just as impossible to complete without outside help (unless you have an incredible amount of patience). If you buy this game intending to solve the puzzles on your own, be prepared for a huge challenge... but even if you use a walkthrough, Samorost 3 is totally worth playing. It's like something out of a childhood dream - I mean, who hasn't wanted to fly in an inflatable mushroom spaceship?

Great but.... I've played this before and really enjoyed it. However it won't download on my iPad 4.

Beautiful and delightfully quirky. Like that book you just can’t put down. Fun and engaging challenges right throughout, all set to the most charming soundtrack.

Controls don’t work. I have an iPad Air 4. The controls don’t work properly. No matter how good the game if the controls don’t work it’s useless. Don’t buy it. Disappointing.

Outstanding. Credit when due. This is quite possibly the best app store game I’ve played in years. It’s the most imaginative, dreamy and trippy game ever. The developers have really dug deep to the darkest and normally most inaccessable realms of their minds to create this amazing adventure.. It makes a change that a ‘paid’ app is well worth the money it asks. Already onto the other games created by this team. 😊❤️😊

Too hard to progress. I got stuck on the very first level, read all the hints, knew what I needed to do - but still could not find a way of doing it. Just annoying. Gave up. Beautiful graphics, as always. However, too small for iPhone - or should have larger zoom factor so that one can enjoy the detail on the small screen.

Requires update!. Once downloaded you can't even go past the title page. The app crashes and exits. I can't give a review of the game because it doesn't work. Really disappointed.

Incredible game. Best played after dark, this game takes you to surreal locations dripping with detail. Best played with headphones, it has some stunning sound design. The best looking and sounding game on iPad by far. Worth every cent

Love it. Absolutely excellent game that I look forward to playing again. Although I was familiar with the way Amanita's games work, I nevertheless had to use online walkthroughs to play this game. Some things are not signalled strongly and it's easy to feel that you're somehow an outsider to the knowledge of how to read the game. However, this will make the game fun for repeat playing and the beauty of the artwork is a strong attraction too.

Won't even open. Can't get the app to open past the first title screen. I'm running the latest IOS and have tried restarting my iPad, nothing works.

Bug iPhone 6. Please fix. The insect scenes in the cave on the asteroid and the treehouse on the first planet have bugs. The antenna on the bugs cannot be plucked. Can't progress the game. Please refund or fix. Should I make contact through the Amanita website? Btw, I your games are brilliant! I'm a fan of adventure puzzlers, and Machinarium & Botanicula are absolute musts for fans of the genera. I'd love to add Samorost 3 to this list. I know I will once the bug is fixed. It would be great to be able to play it on my old iPad. Machinarium and Botanicula were played on it and the experience is so much better on he iPad than the iPhone.

Frustrated. I enjoyed this game....but I've got to the end (I think) and it has crashed. I've tried restarting my iPad a few times but when I go back in, the little man is stuck on the spot moving really fast and won't move anywhere....so now I can't get the little ball from the top floor and feel like I've wasted $7.99...

Rubbish!!!. Boring, unintuitive and just no fun. Bought this at a discounted price, still paid to much! Spend your money elsewhere on something worthwhile playing.

Gorgeous Game. Loved every part of this game. Beautiful graphics, fantastic soundtrack, sweet little characters, and simple game play. No glitches, smooth game play the whole way through. The puzzles were great, not too hard you can't figure them out, but made you think. Definitely play with headphones, easily became emerged in the game. Well worth the money payed.

Gorgeous. Best sound I've ever heard on an iPad. And the graphics are great too. Game plays really well on an iPad Pro. The puzzles are too obscure and challenging to solve in some parts of the game, but there are good walkthroughs available online, so I'm prepared to forgive this minor shortcoming.

4 but not 5 stars. Really creative design and sound (best experienced via headphones). Overall very enjoyable although frustrating in some parts particularly where game play lingers. Still not sure if I actually finished the game... credits kind of appear but then the game continues and you have the option to go anywhere from your journey but where and why and how hard is it to say "hurrah you're finished"... but am I really finished?... or are there more tasks to do?... If a tree falls down in a forest and no one is around does it really make a sound?

Absolutely Awesome. Graphics are stunning and the quizzes really requires you to think hard and the fulfillment of solving them is great. Wish it could be longer.

Won't work and developers won't reply. Downloaded on iPad mini 2 and can't get past the title page. It crashes and closes. Have deleted and reinstalled. Wrote to the developers twice and they haven't even replied. Very disappointed as I was really looking forward to this game. I'd like my money back.

Peculiar and Peaceful. You will definitely need a walkthrough to help you finish as some of the puzzles are very obscure, however the incredible graphics and sounds will keep you going! I really enjoyed Botanicula so if you’re after more, this is the one. My only gripe would be the inability to skip scenes or travel quicker, particularly when you’re trying to work out what do - thus a handy walkthrough helps. Excellent work by the team overall!

Sooooo long waits and slow.. I have to say: design is awesome, like art, but games wise: NOPE. It’s like watching a super slow movie in which you can click on something once in a while. Nothing like machinarium. I mean, i was doing my french manicure between clicks... (no joke!) got bored very early in the game, played until the end (because i paid for it), was still bored and also irritated at the end. Probably would’ve last 5mins if it had the normal flow of events of comparable games. Don’t waste your money if you’re looking for an interactive games, go ahead if you wanna watch a movie.

Game is broken. On the first asteroid you’re supposed to pluck the bugs antenna to release some gas. Doesn’t work tried restarting it many times. Still does not work. Developers website suggests to delete and reinstall. I deleted it. I did not reinstall. I don’t want to repeat the everything that I did so far. What happens after the next bug? Do I have to reinstall yet again? Good bye!

Freaking awesome. i play this game many times throughout the years. not only is it so fun, sweet, quirky... i relax and let myself get emmersed in the beautiful serene forests and jungles. it so relaxing and i love the magical escape. the characters are so lovable and i love finding all the achievements or badges. STUNNING. all their games are.

Excellent. Amanita studios is brilliant. This game has beautiful art, interesting puzzles, just a joy. The puzzles are often musical so speakers will be quite helpful. Also it's not as long as Machinarium or Botanicula, but I thoroughly enjoyed the game.

Amazingly bizarre. A well made, beautiful game. The puzzles are very challenging, and the visuals and soundscape are gorgeous to look at and listen to.

Visually Intriguing and Challenging Puzzles. I liked how each world had its own unique, visually intriguing characteristics, but yet they all felt like they could exist in that same universe. The puzzles were reasonably challenging, though I did have to cheat a couple of times. Overall, I really enjoyed the game, and I would recommend it to others.

Beautiful game. I thoroughly enjoyed this game. The art and music are amazing. I loved leading the little space dude across the solar system. Some of the puzzles were confusing, but there was always the book that told you what to do if you needed help.

Highly recommended, but maybe not for everyone. I really enjoyed the game, but the seemingly open-ended story may not appeal to players. That it is a lot of fun to play and the authors have wisely included a "clue book" in the game to assist you if get stuck. Amanita has created a novel fantasy world filled with all kinds objects, flora, fauna and characters to interact with. The musical background is wonderful and the movements and sounds of your in game character are very enjoyable. Younger children may enjoy this game with an older player to guide them along.

Gorgeous, thoughtful and challenging. This and Machinarium are my two favourite games I’ve played by this company on my iPhone. The characters are interesting and unique, the music sooo beautiful and relaxing, and the puzzles are challenging but not so hard, although I did have to cheat a few times (e.g. the termite nest puzzle could be improved - when I figured out the method behind the solution it still wasn’t obvious visually). I loved playing this game overall and can’t wait to play it again in a few months/years when I’ve forgotten how to solve some of the puzzles :)

Mystic Unique World. What a ~weird~ one...but in a perfectly good way. Wow! By far one of the most amazingly creative games I've played on the iPad Mini 4 [v10.3.3 still] (and I play many adventures). This world of worlds is so mystic. It is beautiful art with superb animations and sound effects. Surprisingly, its success comes without the typical use of any written or verbal dialogue and has very few props to pick up making it quite unique (in most adventures you'd typically pick up keys to unlock doors; NOT Samorost 3). Did not feel short. It is a world you just want to keep on exploring. Now the bads....nothing! Get it. You won't be disappointed.

NOT an exploration adventure. This is billed as an exploration adventure (with a few puzzles along the way). What it really appears to be is a puzzle game with no real exploration adventure at all. And, the puzzles lack any reasonable logic. So the game becomes a random trial & error experience with little-to-no redeeming satisfaction. Never got past the three opening areas, and finally lost the desire to continue the 'game'.

Great game alone or with family!. My ten year old and I like to play this game together. There is enough to interest multiple ages, and the puzzles usually require us brainstorming to figure them out. Critique: make it clearer how to contact when something goes wrong with the game.

I love Samarost. I like Samarost because it has different worlds you can go to and solve puzzles. I wish I had a stuffie of all the characters. I love it so much. My favorite thing in the game was the puzzle on the tree trunk planet. Ok that’s all I want to say. Aya (6yrs old). Dictated by dad.

Disappointing. Not as good as Botanicula and not quite as frustrating as Machinarium. You can’t really proceed without consulting the hints often. It’s too vague in direction. That said, not as many control glitches as with Machinarium.

Love it - make another!. I liked Machinarium and loved Botanicula, but this was my favorite of the three. Make a sequel, please!!

Made for mouse, not fingers.. Difficult to play on phone screen, frustration takes you out of the magical world created. Tiny details covered by fingers, too fine to control. Feels like game not made for phone, just imported. Beautiful but wasted money because poor UI ruins UX.

Some bug. Don't know why, there's no sound when wearing a Bluetooth wireless headphone...

Challenging and beautiful. Interesting plot, gorgeous sound design. The artwork was amazing. I can easily see myself replaying. (Where are Samorost 1 and 2, though?)

CONFUSING. I was so excited for this game after Pilgrims but at least Pilgrims had some kind of learning curve to it that made sense. This game was complete nonsense. I really wanted to love it because the art was so immaculate and otherworldly but the story itself and the puzzles just didn’t really make a lot of sense to me. So, I unfortunately had to give it a 2. Regret buying :/

Beautiful but opaque. I love the look of this game but the puzzles were way too complicated for me. I could figure out that I was supposed to do something, but couldn’t guess what. After I used a walkthrough for a hint I was fine, but needing to do that repeatedly was not fun.

Makes absolutely no sense. Graphics are great, scenery is outstanding and very smooth between scenes. BUT nothing makes sense!!! To arrive at solutions to problems doesn’t follow any logic. Its like lets make it this to solve a problem And throw up a ghost image as the hint but lets make it totally irrelevant. I am a long time player of these type games, first one was Zork, text only!

Tricky game. But fun. This game is incredible! The graphics are great too! Samarost (is that the name of the character or just the name of the game?) goes through tricky puzzles and four planets and four ships orbiting those planets. Yeah, I finished it. 🎮

Too frustrating. This game has so much potential! But it doesn’t matter how cute it is, nobody enjoys cycling through screens, pushing the same buttons for hours on end with no result. There was no reason to make this game so ridiculously difficult.
