Enough With the 6ix9ine News!!!!!. If I seriously see any other news story on 6ix9ine (good or bad) I’m deleting the app and changing my review to 1 star! I do not want to hear ANYTHING about that dude! He does not deserve any platform and XXL just keeps giving it to him!

Do not download loaded with virus’s. I’ve used this app for years legit years and it’s got so many bugs and viruses DO NOT DOWNLOAD.

XXL Magazine. This recent updated version to the old XXL Magazine application is an improvement in aesthetics as well as organization. Users can still navigate stories to read by topics from the left menu such as news, videos, lifestyle, features but extra sections have been added such as lists, podcasts, and a merchandise store where you can shop for XXL clothing and accessories. Users can also search by keyword in case only certain subjects interests you. In terms of aesthetics the app improves by displaying a higher resolution screen making it easier to read articles and view image galleries. Users can still share and save articles. Users can also now customize news alerts based on what time of day to receive them and what days of the week as well as the sounds you want to use. The app still has room for improvement with the addition of a section to display the latest magazine issue for those who still purchase the publication. A classic articles section making available select feature articles from early XXL magazines would also be a nice addition for users who go way back with the publication. Better synergy between the analog and digital would help to make this application complete.

Good. I’m seeing a lot of reviews about bugs and viruses and such but I know for a fact it’s not the app. I have the iPhone 6s+ and I haven’t ran into a single problem with this app. Runs smooth , updates are immediate and so on. I think the look of the app is a little outdated but other than that really good app.

Weak. I’ve had this app for years ever since the iPhone 3g and it’s sad. First of all you deleted the ability to make comments and now I can’t even look at an article without seizing an ad and everytime I do I just close out the app; this isn’t a game or something where you need to do that and quite frankly it’s annoying. Y’all have never done this before! Why now?

Cant listen to music while in app. Ima just use the old version till its updated. Looks nice tho

Underrated app. This app is underrated af. as a fan of hiphop, I use it every day to keep up to date with my music news.

Illegally faking ad clicks and redirecting to browser. This app would be great if it wasn’t scamming by constantly redirecting me to click ad URLs I haven’t clicked.. illegal and annoying.

Don’t buy this joke of an app. I bought this years ago it’s the worst app I’ve ever seen it cuts out sometimes and it takes you to fake news ads that aren’t even a part of XXL. Also I paid for this damn app why are there advertisements on it and if you go to XXL Instagram page you can just click link in bio for free

New version keeps updating!!!!. I keep getting notifications in the App Store to update even though I already did the update 10 times!!!

Great app. Always get the news first, doesn’t crash, old reviews are from 3 years ago cmon how’s it fair to still have them as a 3 star app smh they fixed themselves

Great idea but needs work. Now don't get me wrong I still use this app a lot but the longer you are on it the slower it gets and then it crashes. It has all I wanna hear on it but it would get 5 if it didn't crash
