Best music app every. This app shows you how to play beats! Super cool

Unimaginative and uninspired!. Unintuitive. Poorly conceived and stuck in the PC design mentality. No Korg IOS app has been a go to app for me...ever. They are stuck in hardware/PC design mentality and Korg fails to grasp what the touch screen technology is and can do. Their sound is just adequate. Why is the Gadget only portrait mode? Why doesn't Korg include note hold switches in their apps? I could go on. As far as I am concerned Korg continues to miss the boat and is basically irrelevant as far as making digital music. It seems that 98% of all apps are a PC/Mac design mentality. Very few apps truly are designed for iOS touch screen.

The best Daw out there for an iPad or iPhone. Also super easy to use for beginners.. I really love how easy it is to use my midi controllers on it too. Gadget reminds of the first Daw I ever used which was Fruity loops 15 years ago. Now I use Ableton and pro tools (which is the industry standard meaning most big name studios use Avid Pro tools when recording famous artists in the studios) mainly but when I’m not at home I bring my iPad as well as my little midi drum sequencer and midi keyboard controllers. This is because it is so simple to use even if all you have is the iPad itself to make the music.I do however recommend in investing in a midi controller(probably just a small midi keyboard at first, I see some at pawnshops all the time) for it because it not only makes it more fun but also easier and more efficient to make songs. My only complaints are that after buying the program you still have to pay even more money if you want the other gadgets. The stock drum machine that comes with gadget took me a lot of tweaking to get it to finally sound like a decent drum set but I might buy the newer drum gadget. Also when I start to record and use my midi controller I wish there was an option to have the record do a countdown before it starts recording. Having it start recording as soon as you hit it makes me always come in a millisecond to late or too early so I just add the note manually for the start until they fix this.

Excellent. I just wish I didn't have to pause the play-head to switch which track is armed for recording. Makes a live techno performance out of the question. Excellent features, easy to use, super fun to create music on the fly! quicker than most DAW's.

Piano keys please. crashes. Wont launch at all any more. Old problem from 2015 (per the blogs) remains unfixed. Good thing I hardly ever use this thing due tot he lack pf a standard piano key interface. Other than drums, composing with this intrument was a nightmare due to the absence of access to NOTES via a piano keyboard. Now I cannot even get it to run. Waste of money.

MAKE A MIGRATION TOOL. Hello! Thanks for such a great thing! But could you make an export tool for those who bought the full ver? What am I supposed to do with the stuff I made here???? To loose it?

Gadget. It’s a great app but I wish Darwin was on here that’s my favorite but it’s only available on iPad

VoiceOver compatibility is kind of key, i get many unlabeled elements and such like.. As i said in the title i spend more time fighting with the interface than i do being creative.1

No way to export from Nintendo switch.. The fact that you cannot export with the free version of the app is very scummy. I already purchased the gadget for 40 dollars why am I being charged again to actually do something with my songs?

So disappointed. This used to be my favorite app. It was my go to...now I can’t even export unless I pay anywhere, “gadgetcloud” included. Idk. Sad to see that’s changed.

WOULD BE PERFECT IF.... I downloaded Gadget Le as I was looking for a very portable production station for a quick, easy way to get ideas down. Well, I liked it so much - even with its limited instruments and tracks - that I bought the full version. The full version of Gadget is fantastic! Tons of instruments for immediate use and loads of available tracks. I've used it so much already! I even composed a re-make of a classic song to use for a video. Its ability to export as a Ableton Live project made it easy to get vocals recorded for my finished production. The ONLY complaint I have is that the upgrade from to Gadget doesn't actually unlock Gadget Le. I can't even export the tracks I created with Le. I literally have to reprogram those tracks...and I made quite a few before I upgraded. If someone knows something I don't, please tell me. I'd like to port my tracks over to Gadget, but there doesn't seem to be a way to do this. I think this was an oversight that should be fixed. As it stands now, I would give Gadget a 5 and Gadget Le a 2.5. But both are still lots of fun and now there's even a version for the Mac!!!

Grant says. I will start by saying the sound I heard through my beats was, is incredible! I have hardware Roland's Juno g xp50 GR 33,55 and Yamaha, it's a sonic thing. I'm not sure yet if I will spend monies yet, I need a dock with midi to see latency velocity, these type of things. We will see? Stay up, play hard.

Absolutely Love It. I love having all my sounds readily available. This is undoubtedly my favorite app. Simple yet powerful. Only two caveats. I’d like to see a sampler gadget that could actually sample, not just import. Make it with more memory for larger sample input and give it time stretch and pitch editing like full fledge samples do. Albeit audio track recording would be awesome too, I mostly use other apps for tracking vocals and instruments. But audio still wouldn’t be bad. The current feature for audio tracking, Zurich, is a bit lacking cause of editing restrictions. And also Abudahbi, comes up short as a sampler unit due to it’s restrictions as well. However, I do understand the power involved to making an app with so many synthesis to process a difficult task, but that’s why they gave us the ability to freeze tracks, awesome touch BTW. The sounds are so good that I really don’t care that it can’t do auv3’s, the stability is way more valuable. Make these few adjustments and keep up the great work Korg!

Doesn’t really have simple features. Has cool sounds but lacks a bunch of simple stuff. Since I don’t know much about it, but what I seen doesn’t have split. I couldn’t copy a 1 bar melody and paste it on the 2nd bar but instead let me copy when I’m out piano roll only to paste it over my other track. Lacks a lot stuff. Roland’s ZENBEATS is way better and cheaper

Draining battery and constantly running in BG. This app is draining the life out of my battery. Had to delete since it still ran in background even when I specified background app refresh off.

Very impressive App!. I can't get over how these apps are becoming more and more powerful DAWs..... I'm pleased with the LE version but the full one is a beast!

More then expected. I didn't know buying the korgnanokey2 would allow me to use it on my iPhone. on the go with gadget Ie more then happy it's easier to use them some programs on the computer And it's functionality is great little hard to touch on my Se but that's my bad. Much fun on here check other people's creations too

Interoperability with Nintendo Switch. Are you able to import from the Nintendo Switch version?

Why cant you copy & paste like in a PC?. The sounds are good the interface is ok but its just imposible to create profesional music whit out Copy Paste to save time and extra work. I cant see the harmony between chanels nor beats its like a blind fold. Sorry please fixe it.

PLEASE ADD AUDIO UNIT V3 SUPPORT. Integration with other apps like BM3 and Cubasis, Garage would take the possibilities up a notch

Cute update, now it's worthless. Cute. Now it crashes when you press play, if it opens at all. Imagine if I'd been stupid enough to pay for this. I almost did, thank god I saw how Korg does things before that happened. Latest iOS iPad 4

Works W/ iPhone 5S - Lvl Up++. Just so there is no confusion - it does work on my iPhone 5s bc 5s is actually identical to iPhone 6 with a smaller screen it has the same cpu power but more memory for cheaper. That’s why I love and only buy  products, it’s 2020 & I’m able to keep up with everything on this old ass phone - it allows me to be frugal by paying out for high quality once and keeping for a long time - like 5 years vs. repurchase of android/pc every season 😕. On my mobile production journey thus far I’ve used iOS GarageBand, Nanostudio 1&2, Beatmaker 1&2, FL Mobile, and some of those lame loop triggering apps 😒. Bc my workflow is not sample based, midi, instruments, piano roll, & arrangement are the most important aspects of a DAW for me - which explains why beatmaker was such a chore. I love playing with this so far and excited to try completing a composition either on this or the full version -it feels very creative & fresh + I believe you can also get this on Nintendo switch & desktop. Right now i think fl mobile, nanostudio2, & korg gadget are my favs so far ! I plan to try Cubasis, & iMPC next. I feel like somebody stole my guitar. I paid full price for the original version of Korg Gadget, shortly after its release and later made several in-app purchases as well. Korg Gadget quickly became my go-to music production platform. I eventually broke my iPad but took solace in the fact that I could simply re-download my previously purchased apps without too much trouble. Upon acquiring a new iPad, I immediately went through my list of purchased apps and was surprised when Korg gadget was no longer listed, I then searched the App Store and discovered that Korg Gadget “2” was listed as if it was a completely different app priced at $39.99. Needless to say I will not be giving these people any more of my money. I bet they move to a subscription based model in the future so that they can milk there customers once a month instead of every few years

Feel ripped off!. So you go to export wave and they ask for $40. Then you pay it, but still can't export! "Thank you for contacting us. We apologize for the inconvenience. Currently, There is no way to export the data to the Gadget from Gadget Le. We will consider to be able to export project about this issue. KORG app dev team"

Creative scratchpad in my pocket. Great for Laying down rhythm ideas while on the go!

Crash after updating.. Crash after updating during playback. It is not possible to continue the project created Gadget LE.

Love Kong and can't wait for the volca FM!. But this isn't worth anything close to 40$ when caustic kills it

No export. Fun to play with and has some good sounds, but there is no way to bring any audio out of this app without paying a bunch of money. I’ll pay to upgrade once an app has proven useful in a workflow, but this can’t prove anything. Next,

Clunky interface, no inter audio app. So frustrating there is no apparent way to export creations and it is not recognized as an inter audio app. Basically useless.

No Inter-App Audio or Audiobus support?. It's a shame to see a big name like Korg not support IAA or Audiobus such that you could record it's awesome synth sounds to an easier to use DAW like GarageBand

Not bad. The version that comes with the korg controller has good sounds on the marseille instrument nut not much of editing of the sounds. Only ASDR filter and two effects. The mono synths are ok. You can't buy individual synths. Only the full package. Sample tank that comes with irig is much better.

Intuitive and.great for live performance,. Excellent tool. I have been using this (free version) now for two months to see if it met my needs for live performance. It has indeed. I wanted to wait for a Korg sale to go pro but I find myself using this as one of my primary tools for live performance so…

Korg is knickel and diming. Korg gadget is reasonably cool, but 6 of the gadgets are now for extra money each which is lame. Never mind that there no reason for gadget and module being 2 separate products. Korg is losing my respect.

Lost some gadgets. Great app! However I lost some gadgets after a iPhone OS re install ( cell froze ) and have no clue how to get them back.

For 55 bucks I don't want no in app purchases. I'll pay the 55$ for everything included, or lower to half price again.
