Good app!!!!. People say it doesent work on iPhone 6 but I had the requirements and after ten tries of opening it it opened and it was amazing, keep trying and see if it will open 10/10 love this app

MIGHT be good. This app just mght be pretty good...if only the app would OPEN! I have been waiting months since I bought it, for the maker to fix it.

Great Product and Support!. The install on my iPad and Mac was pretty easy. The Support team was very helpful in answering my questions very quickly (within minutes). Great Product and support! Highly recommended product!!

Didn't work. Just purchased the app and it won't download. I am trying to get my money back!

Tarry Not. The macOS version of Rhyme Genie beats the pants off MasterWriter, especially since the latter's developer imposed a subscription requirement on users. Besides, Rhyme Genie is vastly more powerful. So I had to glom onto the iOS version for my iPad. Don't waste time thinking about it. If you need a potent rhyming tool, look no further. Rhyme Genie is the hit. It's a brilliant app!

Misunderstood About Tunesmith. So I bought the Rhyme Genie app not realizing that I can’t get Tunesmith along with it on my phone. Now I have the app which is just not useful to me without Tunesmith. Is there anything I can do to rectify this situation?

Do not buy this!. I agree with review number two. This stupid app does not even open at all!

If you write poetry you'll like this. The developer is awesome. Has helped me via email understand some stuff. It shows he actually cares about rhyming and music vs just an app. All I'd say is make it's usage on the iPad feel a bit more solid, like somehow similar to how the apple store looks. The card look, large highly detailed graphics and colors and fonts vs a slight old PC look. Other than that it's an amazing app when it comes to finding sounds and rhymes.

Great product. I’ve been using the Mac OS version of Rhyme Genie for years and it’s been invaluable in my creative process. Having to update it on the laptop and desktop all the time was getting tedious and then I saw there was a smartphone version! The dictionary comes with me wherever I go now: laptop, desktop, subway, whatever... it means I can keep the creative flow going wherever I am!

App crashes. Just now purchased this app and it’s crashed every time I was using it on iPad Pro. Is there a fix in the works SOON ?

Fantastic (one issue). This app is near perfect. I’ve been using it almost a year I think, & it’ll continue forever. I just noticed though, there’s no alliteration for vowels. Is this on purpose because of some language rule?

Currently unstable. I LOVED and used this app a lot for writing my lyrics, but since recent updates, I’m finding it unbearable. It’s very slow and clunky now... all the words (regardless of syllable) appear on one column and it takes many, many minutes of waiting before they’re finally separated into proper columns (sometimes, it doesn’t separate at all). Sometimes the words barely load at all, sometimes the app just outright crashes. Very unstable now... this used to be extremely stable and fast though!! Using a Mini 4, updated to latest, not sure if that has had an effect or influence to the app or its updates.

XLNT. Perfect for my more complicated poetry but wow on all the bells and whistles I've yet to use! 😎😉

Weak ability to fine adequate rhymes in every situation.. When looking for rhymes for “civilian” stallion and cotillion were not listed. When then I entered “cotillion” the lists were blank. Cotillion, stallion and civilian all rhyme. This situation has occurred before with certain words that I entered. I have not made a list, but when this occurred with “civilian”, I made notes in anticipation of your request for why I submitted less than average performance for your app.

The Premier Lyrical Reference. Unquestionably, this is the most prolific verbiage reference for lyrical writing purposes on the market currently! It’s exceptional how much value they’ve packed inside this app.

I love this app. If you write lyrics or poems and looking for rhymes this app is amazing. I have it installed on my iPhone and iPad - as well as my computer and can’t imaging writing lyrics without it. They recently upgraded version - customer support was stellar. I rarely write reviews but this one is worth it on many levels.

The Ultimate Rhyming App. I think this is the best rhyming app on the market. I needed to replace the old Mac app "Masterwriter" after it went to an expensive subscription model, and tried everything I could find. Rhyme Genie won the competition, but it takes time to realize all of its powers and features. I recommend reading the info on the developer's website to get familiar with the controls and settings. You can start rhyming immediately, but dig deeper! P.S. I notice that some old negative reviews for previous versions are for installation or "won't run" problems. On some older devices, some apps can be sensitive to how much memory is available when you first install. If you run into such a problem with this (or any app), try this: 1) turn Airport Mode on. 2) turn off any background programs that might be running (hold power button until the "slide to power off" shows up, then release power button and hold the 'home' button until it goes back to home screen). 3) install the app (e.g. Rhyme Genie). After installation, all should be fine and you can run your device as usual.

Help. Need a better way to break down the app, like what does each row means. Inside the app, outside of that its cool

Not many rhymes. It’s . . . Ok. Some cool features, like the search for first-syllable or consonant rhymes. But, ultimately, it’s sort of all for naught, because there just aren’t that many rhymes included. When I compare perfect rhymes for “go,” for example, with my printed Merriam Webster’s Rhyming Dictionary, the MW has about 5 times as many, including some really obvious ones Rhyme Genie is missing.

Absolute best rhyming tool for iOS. I've tried many, most are dismal failures, some are just ok. This one is fantastic; it's smart, has multiple dictionaries, and is deep. If you love words you'll love this app. As a songwriter for more than 40 years I can't recommend this app enough. It also works great in split screen which I love. My iPad Pro has become my primary writing device, and rhyme genie is an essential part of the 4 apps that make my writing suite.

Rhyme Genie. So Rhyme Genie works on iPhone 5s - but TuneSmith does NOT. That's lame...

Would like my money back please. There is no mention in the App Store that it doesn't support my iPhone 4s, it just requires ios8.2. Only when it wouldn't run on my phone did I go to the developer website (where there is no way to contact the developer) did I find out that my phone is not supported. I'll delete this review when I get my money back.

Excellent!!. I’ve been using their desktop version for years. If you’re a songwriter, poet, in advertising or just like to have fun rhyming words, Rhyme Genie is a must have! So easy to use and should you ever have an issue, the company provides the best customer service. Frankly , it’s worth much more than the price!

Rhyme Genie. This is the penultimate poetry/song writing/writing app. I first discovered it in 2009 or 2010 and purchased it for use on my Mac and have not been without it since. I also have it on my iPad and iPhone. Brilliant apps. The team at Idolumic are very prompt IF you’ll ever need them.
