This game is not to shabby.... I just have trouble going all in because I cant ignore the fact that the battle games main character is a tortoise? I mean its life and death and you hop on a tortoise that is easily the slowest animal ever in existence (other than my grandpas driving) ? Unless your at war with the residents of a nursing home or possibly a bunch of sloths,you are basicly garaunteed to die....other than that its a very enjoyable game...nice job peeps!

Good game but.... I love this game don't get me wrong. It has ads, which is ok, it has pay for play which you don't have to do. BUT, the stupid wait time between rounds of you die gets ridiculous. I died, had to wait 30 seconds, ok. I died again had to wait 3:40, ugh fine. I died again and I have to wait 13 minutes, now an hour?!?! No thanks. I'm done, next...

Great role model and amazing game. Currency done right. Pay to win ratio is amazing, meaning balanced gameplay. The game is addicting, keeps you wanting to know what’s next. So much well thought out content for an iPhone game, very impressive. When I played this game a year ago, (I still think this today) I marveled at the graphics. Wow, just wow. Amazing work.

Awesome game, But support has died. I love this game. Ive played it for several years. Wonderful gameplay and visuals. My only complaint is that lately the game is starting to brake due to the developers basically abandoning the game. Current issues are: Game crashes randomly, game freezes and won’t close without device restart and it used to run perfectly on full settings, now it struggles on the lowest setting. All I hope is that this game gets updated again, more than just new device support.

Love it. I remember playing this game when I was 8 and I loved it I would always love to recruit new troops and I loved it cause it made me feel powerful and I think the concept of the game is just great I would say it’s a bit glitchy but other than that it’s great I wish you all enjoy😁👍👍

A silly war game. I have played for a while and I still enjoy all of the game, one thing you can do to stream line this game is to create a list of priorities when upgrading, like when you do the random upgrades if you want to prioritize the howitzer most upgrades, as well as heroes having formations to your squads, as in if you have the medic rabbit hero, then the melee squads(I am fairly new so I don’t know all the squads you can have) will split up and attack all the high damage enemies. And if you use the toad the melee squads will blob up in an attempt to stop bigger enemies. The game overall is silly, with ww1 armor on mice with sword and shields charging rats with cannons on their backs, giant frogs, and lizards in an attempt to protect a tortoise is hilarious. The thing the game doesn’t really tell you is that the point is to die, then get bonuses based on how well you did last time, then steamroll and die again. A strat for overcoming this is to play with a lot of melee soldiers and to try to get to level seven so you unlock your first permanent hero, which buffs your soldiers so you can get way farther than you should

Would be 4 stars except for the cooldown and info. This is a fun and amusing graphic defense game. The couple issues I have is that after reaching a certain lvl, 6 and higher for me currently, every time you are killed you have to wait 1hr to try again or restart from the beginning which gets rid of all the money but not the perks you saved. So that long break means you just have to stop. 2nd. I’ve only gotten 4 ingame currency, looks like you can only get it from clearing certain milestones. Game wants you to by it. 3rd. Lack of info about what weapons and items exactly do. 4th. No pause between waves so you have to figure out when the enemies have gotten too difficult and you need to upgrade. tldr: fun games but there can be issues that can make the game too annoying to get invested in.

They've kept improving and great service. Had issues now and then with purchases with the app but within the same day as I left a comment about it the good folks fixed it and I was on my way to having fun once more. Lots of fun and good people behind the app.

Impressed. I'm going to be one of those people that say they never write reviews, and while that may be true, I feel compelled to let you, the reader, know that I am thoroughly enjoying this game. I'll leave the summary writing for others but I must say that the 5 stars is well deserved. If you choose to download based off my review, then know there is a high chance of being satisfied. LOVE THIS GAME!!!. This game is so amazing! It is really fun to play, the more I play the more I want to continue leveling up and playing more rounds! This game needs a STORY MODE!! It would be the best thing ever! And if you added a multiplayer version too that would also be really cool, In the story mode there needs to be some sort of cool background sort of like " two rivals are at war" or maybe like a Call Of Duty story mode sort of thing! That's would be really sweet. Fantastic game. This game is fantastic to say the least. The fact that you're able to get everything by actually playing a game brings fond memories of games being this pure other world experience. The only draw back is that my phone (iphone 6s)isn't able to process the game very well. It would be better suited for a full blown computer. Nonetheless this game deserves 5 stars. Maybe consider adding a story mode?

Fun game, but needs better targeting system. I’ve enjoyed playing this game for about 3 weeks now and it’s very enjoyable. You can play if you want too, or let the AI play for you. Only thing I’ve noticed is the target selection of units could use some work. Many times all units will fire upon one unit leaving other heavy units to target you and cause damage. After getting to round 240 the only reason I die is because units fail to destroy all units and only focus on select few.

A perfect five star game, but needs a fix. Hey Foursaken, been a big fan of your games and the worlds you make. War Tortoise is definitely one of your best, and I played it a lot when it came out. I’m having crashing problems right now. If I try to watch an ad, it freezes and then crashes. Now I can’t open the game without it crashing. The game itself is easily five star, but that doesn’t mean much if the game is unplayable. Please fix soon, and keep up the good work.

This is an idle game in disguise. When you first play the game, you actually pay attention to what is happening on screen. Once u get so many upgrades, u can literally use the "auto-battle" button, speed up the time, and eat some popcorn as the battlefield around your turtle explodes without you touching the screen. Once you reach a certain point, your turtle is basically invincible and it gets really boring.

Awesome game!. I'm having an absolute blast playing this game! It's endlessly fun and entertaining with a good progression model. My only complaint is I wish some of the icons and weapon upgrades had been explained a little better but I caught on fairly quickly. This is the only reason for a loss of star. As a final note I am not a F2P player. I dropped enough money on it to unlock the Double Damage/Money and all the heroes. I do consider this money well spent as this game will provide hours of fun.

Very good shooter. So why not 5 stars? There are a few issues: first during 4x gameplay there is severe lagging even on low graphics mode on an iPhone 7s plus. Second it constantly switches to auto battle mode. Third the perks don’t seem to be accurate because I have about 684% added to health for my war tortoise but it doesn’t reflect that. And finally there should be an on/off toggle for hero abilities because it’s hard to tell when their abilities are ready especially during 2x/4x mode.

Love the game but maybe balance a bit more. This game is amazing and fun i love playing it the only problem is you only start getting more money further in the game and this cause problems when you cant afford the upgrades to go further. But in most cases this is fine, but one thing that really bugs me is the damage that you regularly do. Most of my supports do 10x more damage then i do. I have used up so much money and have recently reached about 900 but it cost so much to go any further. My advice may be to reduce the cost a little bit or increase the damage you earn from these upgrades. In any other case this game is really fun and great.

Great game . . . but. Having to restart all your resources after each (voluntarily elevating a) generation is frustrating and as you progress everytime you die you have to wait an hour to play again unless you “pay up.” Great graphics, cool weapons, pretty intuitive.

Solid, solid, SOLID !!!!!. Everyone, please read my review. It is true what everyone else said in their reviews so I won't rehash it here. The Max Level is 600. I am almost there. My advice to everyone is make sure you upgrade to double damage and double money as soon as you can. Also ensure that you get your free perk every six hours. DON'T miss a perk (set ur alarm to wake up in middle of the night to pick up ur perk.) Use auto battle and 4X to advance quickly. This game has taken weeks, MONTHS and Years from my life that I cannot bring back but I don't regret a single minute. I am currently on level 582!!!!!!!! (& still going strong) and I don't see myself stopping anytime soon. I have almost 7,500 MILLION dollars (7.5 BILLION) and OVER 2,500 red points. Please keep the updates coming! We need NEW defenses/weapons AND 6X speed. ****WHY hasn’t the game been updated in almost 2 years???????****

Fun Times. I'd like to see who would win if this tortoise raced a hare. On your mark get set - BOOM - tortoise wins. It's been fun turning Mr. Turtle into a war machine. After spending the equivalent of the entire US defense budget on my little animal army; I still have plenty more to upgrade. I'm on level 464 now and still having fun. It's a well designed game that's perfect for a casual gamer who wants to play for a few minutes here and there. The graphics are superb as are the sound effects. The in app purchases are not necessary to have fun. I do recommend you get the upgrade that skips the in game ads.

I LOVE this game but... the ads are breaking it. Sometimes the ads play twice. Sometimes I can’t click the X. Sometimes there is no X. Sometimes is just launches my App Store even tho I clicked the X. Even worse then the game doesn’t recover and open again. Please get your coding fixed. This never used to be a problem but it’s gotten worse over time.

HEAR ME OUT. So I️ started playing this game about 2 weeks ago. Love it , but it’s so simple you really don’t have to play. Just log on get your coins , kill an easy boss and go on w your life. Word of advice , you don’t need to go to another generation , yea they unlock other recruits but how easy do you want the game ? Lol. I’m on generation 14 then realized you don’t need to keep going onto the next. Just wherever you’re comfortable to advance past the levels. I️ have the medic hero, the orb hero, and the very first hero you get. I️ bank in this game , just log on to get my perks and some coins and leave that ish on auto play . I’m currently on lvl 114 yes not much but I’m not going to go onto another generation and start from 0 again. Going to see how far I️ can go. GOOD LUCK H O E S

This was good until.... This game started out with big potential but the amount of ads it’s unbelievable. I understand the developers need to make money but there’s an ad for literally everything and also what’s up with having to wait to play again every time I die. And also the upgrades and better weapons, soldiers, heroes, etc, etc... They are way too expensive.

Ads mechanism is broken. Tldr: too many unskippable loud ads for a very low amount of content. Don’t bother. I initially thought the game was interesting but every time you open it - there’s unskippable ad. You have to check your email? Ad. Answer a text? Ad. Make a short call? Ad. And then the ads just lead to more ads when you try to close it (and run with sound even though my phone is set to silent). After 4 ads running one after another when all I wanted was a quick game, I couldn’t take it anymore and deleted the game.

GREAT GAME!!!!!!!!!!!!. His game is totally a great game to play for hours or just a few minutes. I only have one rather big complaint: I don’t want to have to wait to continue after I die!!!!! Why do I have to wait?! This problem almost pushed me to give a 3 star review. Other than that, this game is amazing 😉

Uh son!. This game is actually pretty legit. You can get all in game upgrades through playing the game (that means you are not required to purchase anything). By putting time into the game you can unlock everything, which is unheard of nowadays. Entertaining, eats battery life but Id say it's well worth it for a time killing app.

Information on certain things and boss battles. Alright, I must admit, this is a great game. Great graphics, amazing gameplay, a little simply mind you, but good all round game. But I'd really like to know what some things are. For exactly, what exactly does the Satellite Tower do for you? All the upgrades show is "Target" and "Damage". What does this do? If there is some way for you to update the game where it gives a brief description of each unit and their abilities. Would be great. Also, why aren't there many boss battles? Is there a specification that you must reach to activate a boss battle. It would be a great help if we had more boss battles. Thank you.

Can't move forward unless you pay. Once you start upgrading you then need to spend money to keep going if you die. Takes longer and longer before you are allowed to play again unless you pay.

Phenomenal Game and Good Ad System. There are enough good reviews about the game itself. I’ll focus on the ads. The ads are noticeable but not annoying. Ads pop up only when you leave open the game so you’ll have to see them but they are not the sort that annoying pop up every level. It’s also not P2W pay to win since you can earn coins by defeating bosses or reaching higher levels. You’ll get 4 coins for defeating daily bosses. I’d support the developer by buying the ad removal though. Good job Devs.

Youve done it again. Bug heroes 1, and 2, and this game all have things in commin that make them great. Both feature a warlike/post war era with animals in the fight, a great concept. Both are very unique in gameplay and controls. Bug heroes had a fantastic story/lore. Would love to hear the background about this tortoise and mouse you play as. Is this the same world as bug heroes? I'd love to hear the story, but still great game.

Love it, You need it. I love these game were you have to upgrade in order to move on, I’ve never really had good experience on the phone with these games, I never really liked pay to play games, but this game tops them all on my list of phone games, you don’t have to pay to play I don’t like waiting in between deaths, but its ok it makes it more challenging and drives you to get a better and better army, games are not fun if they are too easy and this game is the perfect equivalence.

The best game, but one reason. Really fun game, I would give it 5 but there’s one stupid reason and it might be stupid, when I got a new hero and I inactivated it because it had a good voice and I wanted to hear it again so, when I wanted to activate it again is said wait 30 seconds, it’s stupid, I’m just afraid that it will effect my hero or not.

A masterpiece!. Only a select few games like this & sadly they seem to be going extinct. I’m hoping this one will stay updated as long as possible as time goes on. This game is so much fun & I’ve been playing it for a couple years now. The only game that is a for sure to stay in my game collection, seems very underrated even with 4.8 stars! This is how mobile gaming should be modeled. For generations to come, we will see advances in technology, deep storytelling with heart and soul, and engines that revolutionize the genre, and it will all be due to "War Tortoise". Whether i'm mowing down Skinks, Iguanas, Bomber Beetles, Frogs or Fireflys, I know I'm safe with my brave war tortoise to guide me, always under me to carry the weight of the world on his shoulders. This game should NOT be free. It should be envisioned, studied and loved for decades to come. "War Tortoise" has unexpectedly changed and elevated my life. 5/5 Any day of the week. Beauty at it's finest.

Good, other than few suggestions. This game is executed very well, I have one request though, could you put in the settings for[Auto Hero Ability Activation]On/Off or something like that because I kinda have a hard time finding my heros in 4X mode.

Amazing.... but. All I can really say bout this game is amazing... for a FREE game, graphics on point, quite a good idea for a game too. If only there was a way to pause the way how your troops fight after you are not playing... maybe there is and I haven't found out.... but if thats the case 10/10 game!

Ads crash game, beware the ads. Lost interest in this game after the second time the game crashed/froze after watching ads causing me to loose premium currency. Granted these were rewards from completing missions but I don’t see putting money into or even playing a game when ads crash the game and you loose what you have earned. Game has an interesting concept, unique really. But considering you need premium currency to progress, and you can loose it simply due to ads makes the game not worth playing. Save yourself the aggravation and find another game.

Very good! Need story!. So, this game is super good. Graphics are insane even on low. You can earn everything you need no in app purchases required! Which is rare! But I have a huge suggestion that would put this game on the top 50 AT LEAST! This game really needs a story mode! If you add some kinda insane call of duty type storyline to this, it would skyrocket! I noticed that on world 3 there's some overgrown and fallen skyscrapers in the background, so there's some storyline right there? I know if there was levels and a story and you could drive your tortoise, this would be one of the top. Apps. Ever. Period. End of story.

Rather pass. Its a really fun game and is very enjoyable but it gets to a point where you need to spend actual money to progress, i played this game when it got released and now came back due to the second game being released soon. One big issue is NONSTOP ADS LIKE CAN I NOT JUST LAUNCE THE GAME WITHOUT BEING BOMBARDED BY THREE (3) ads back to back, BACK TO BACK AS IN CLICK CLOSE AD AND MORE ADS APPEARED. LIFE CHANGING. I was once addicted to methamphetamines and beating my kids but when I downloaded war tortoise it lead me on a holy path of righteousness. This game showed me that life was priceless and shouldn’t be wasted I now have a greater purpose and I love my kids my ex wife is begging to get back together but I can’t because she doesn’t play war tortoise. I believe Christ himself lead me to this game and showed me a greater path. I have since abandoned pornography and am the owner of Coca Cola and I owe it all to war tortoise

My honest review. I rarely do reviews but I felt this game needed one. First of all it is great game. I love it. But I have to say it does get a little repetitive after the tenth generation. You restart so many times with the same possible upgrades that it does get a little annoying. Now there's nothing the developers can do about that. I was just notifying you. But this is a great game. Definitely a must-buy.

Like the game. It's very very fun game, great art work and good programming. Cut little animals having it out, genius concept. Why not five stars- well, two reasons; ability to increase game speed and auto-spend combined. In my opinion it made it to easy to cheat and with tab of auto-battle. Those options made game to become boring. Auto-spend should've been earned option in someway or completely removed. All of this is just my opinion.

I loved this game. I still do and have since I got it in 2019 but then the released war tortoise 2 now I have that on the shelves of my do not delete section of my Home Screen i muss this game it was my favorite and is filled to the brim with nostalgia. great job devs love your work keep it up!

Good time sink. I wasn’t aware of the first 5 gernerations respawn times weren’t supposed to be how they are having them nearly instant, but once I started on level 6 with a 15 minute wait time because I died? After that I’m more likely to find another game for time wasting, such as any of the .io games. Up until I received my 4 minute wait, and then it jumping to 15 minutes i uninstalled the game. Up until then I thoroughly enjoyed the game. If you take out the wait times it would be a lot more enjoyable

My turtle. Honestly, it’s just a fun game that takes up time. Pretty fun while at work🤫turtle is named Big Boss. He is awesome. For realzees this game is pretty cool. Well balanced as for as gameplay goes. I wouldn't recommend spending any actual money on it though. Or any mobile game to be honest. Earning your perks and weapons with skill isn't hard or that bad with this game.

Panzer Turtle. This game is a really fun time sink. It’s got a cool aesthetic (turtle tank FTW!) and a lot of customizable options that make each play-through different and enjoyable. The pay to win aspect is largely muted, and the liberal amount of resources provided means that, given enough time, you will make progress, even without spending real money. However, it is possible to break the game by spamming deaths within the first five levels and maximizing mineral orb upgrades. The lack of a respawn time allows you to obtain a potentially infinite amount of money in a brief period of time before stomping your way through the rest of the levels. I don’t think this was intentional, but as it allows casuals like myself to substitute time for money, I think it adds to the game’s appeal. DEVELOPERS TAKE NOTE. If the game crashes or is closed after a transaction is made, but before decisions (such as choosing perks) are made, the player will lose both the perks and the money. Please fix this.

Love this game so much!!!. I’ve only been playing this game for 1 day and I’ve already spent 15 dollars. The gameplay is awesome and I love the the way the game was designed. You can do things like those clicker gamers in, having you do all the damage and have units to back you up or have the units do all the damage and have you support them, or both of those. In short awesome gameplay, great design, five star (Forsaken Media keep up the good work!).

Purchase not required!. Among the perks found in other reviews (graphics, nonsensical gaming focus, etc.) my *absolute* favorite part is you have the ability to completely remove all pop-ups and video ads in the game WITHOUT having to spend a dime. It took me a couple of days to get the perk (I spent my first upgrade points on something else) but now I never need to worry about stupid pop-ups when I need to add a permanent perk or just take a break. It is so nice, and I've been waiting for a game like this for a long while!

Love it! More variety please!. I've played this through before and loved it both times. Not over yet but have almost all stats maxed and just mowing through the baddies now. Auto play with current set up kinda getting oring now. Only motivation is to see how far this game will let me get. On level 560 now and waiting to see if there's any thing new as the rounds keep going. Bosses are nothing. I can't even get a shot off before they're mowed down by my guys. Update with new levels or bosses! P.S. Haven't spent a single dime since day one

Good game, not sure if it is still being supported. DL this game years ago, lost my progress when my phone’s internal drive failed and I didn’t have a backup. Anyway, started playing it again from scratch, still good enjoyable gameplay, but now no “video” will load for any login or other bonuses. That will greatly impact ability to progress and unlock heroes and other upgrades. Still fun to play, especially during this quarantine.

Great Anti-Cheating. So I was a little stuck and didn't want to wait too long for extra money so thinking it was a good idea I advanced my clock on my iPad. Worst. Idea. Ever. Once I was done I reversed back to current time but I died anyway. Once I died the clock for me to play again was advanced to the exact date I set my iPad to 2nd of January 2038. The game is great and I now have to restart everything due to me cheating.

This is game amazing. The game great aspect of how in late game would look like cause it has a challenge in all the areas and the game gets harder and harder which is great

Very good game!. The gameplay is amazing! Easy controls, beautiful graphics and it's frickin fun to play! My only concern is the respawn time - once killed, I have to wait an hour later to play again. If you enjoy shooters, idling and upgrading games, this game is the choice for you. Have fun!

Great game. Amazing looks & Offline!. This is amazing. Before the update I loved it. But now, with the amazingly made heroes, you can tell there was so much effort put into it, every unit looks so unique and just awesome. It would be nice if the bosses were a little more common.. After you unlock everything it can get a bit less enticing to play, but it's always fun to come back to. The best part is, you don't need active internet connection to play either. All round awesome game, keep the new updates coming guys. All we need now is some sort of Tortoise v Tortoise mode

Great game but how to advance the game?. Stumbled onto this game, took a while till I got all the support units and then glad for the auto battle function. I got in before the heroes were introduced and happy coz I don't have to collect the crystals as one of the heroes does it for you haha. Like the game but just questioning how would you advance this game because it will get repetitive eventually. I'm at level 200 and then it's just enhancing the levels of your support units etc but where to after this? Might aim for 300 and then delete this game I guess

Decent. I really love this game, let's get that clear. The critters look amazing, the tiers and things are well balanced and it's really fun to play However, I think there is one thing that would greatly improve this game. I feel like progressing further in the game is easier if you don't play it??? You get money when your away and the auto battle button plays the game for you? So what's left to do other than upgrade in the pause menu and watch the game unfold. It would be much better if the amazing 3D world that has been created was able to be utilised better, say controlling the new Heroes yourself? Or even just letting you see their view through their eyes. Or being able to walk the tortoise around? Even switch from your tortoise to a gun tower? If you created something like bug Heroes where the player is the hero then that would advance the gameplay of this game greatly. As I said, I still thoroughly enjoyed playing this game and have spent quite a bit of money on it xD so good job Foursaken Media, you've done well once again :)

War tortoise. War tortoise is a great game and quickly became my favourite it required strategy but not over the top and the fact you can battle also adds to the fun I love the boss fights even though I am so bad at them but overall a great game you should defiantly get it only problem is later on in the game you have to wait a bit to play when you die but probably a good thing for me as I would play all the time other wise 😉

Such a shame. Been a big fan of Foursaken Media's games in the past but they totally missed the mark on this one imo. Less than 5 sec after loading the app I get an add. Launches straight into the game and im waiting for the tutorial section to end, thinking when can I move? But no you just drag the camera around, not moving, not shooting manually, and the change weapon tabs are on the right side as opposed to the side not using your thumb to aim. It's as if this game is from a typical hack developer, so sad.

An unexpected error has occurred. This is a lot more fun than you'd think. I don't usually complain about lack of adds, but they supposedly get you perks, all I get is the unexpected error however. I like the cute add-ons and the auto function. Would like some movement options and more sniper ammo though!

Favourite Mobile Game. This is by far the best mobile game i’ve come across, it’s extremely satisfying unlocking different heroes/support units after grinding for ages. Theres lots of little features that make the game that much better; like having the occasional boss appear. Theres a lot of variety in both enemies and friendly units. The only thing I wish they would change is when you use General One-eye’s ability the highlighted friendlies are a bit of an eyesore, so if that effect was dimmed down or less noticeable it would look a lot nicer. Plus add more heroes theres too little. Also I found a neat little feature if anyone cares. If you hold down on one of the upgrade buttons you can quickly upgrade x10 or x100 so thats cool.

No updates. For such a good game it’s disappointing to see that it’s been over a year since the last update

Long death times.. The long death times with no way around them other than a pay gate has lead me to lose interest in the game. Good game but it hasn't got any reason to keep me coming back. I'd rather buy the game outright or watch an ad, instead of having to pay money just to get back into the game.

I don't normally write reviews. But this game is incredible and I can't get enough of it. The gameplay is balanced, smooth and incredible, the ideas and enemies are original and keep you on your feet, and the whole app can be played without paying a cent. The upgrade system lets you experiment with units and when that messes up you evolve. The game just works perfectly, and despite being a free app, the developers constantly add content that makes the game better and better each time. Honestly I think this should be a paid app cause I'd pay good money for it. Keep up the awesome work and I hope other app developers learn from this game, and make more original games and ideas.

Awesome Game. I just got a new iPad and downloaded war tortoise and it is amazing. The auto-battle is so fun and the design of the game is so cool. Next time you play and look at how much work they have put In the armour reflecting the sun. Another thing I love about this game is that their is micro transactions but they are optional and don’t bombard you with ads to pay $15 for their “starter bundles”. Also everything in the game you can earn for. eg. I saved up enough red coins to buy a thing which allows it to remove all ads, and I got this with out paying any money. Honestly I love this game and how everything is set out, though I some times find it hard to chose where to put my money in, but that fixed that by adding a feature which puts your money randomly into upgrades and also adds 20% extra money. Sorry for that long rant but I am so enthusiastic about this game and excited for the second game.

Amazing gameplay and looks. This game is once again high standards from foursaken media. The graphics look beautiful and the gameplay is immerse and intense. This for a clicker is way more interactive as you are more involved with the battles going on. The upgrade system is really easy to understand as well. I know that this game can have much more included than what it has now and I'm happily waiting for future updates. Updates I would like: 1. More units to buy/vs 2. Multiplayer survival mode or work together to win perks for both players 3. Larger battles if possible Also if anyone knows the heroes and castles series by foursaken media, it would be great if they made a game called "villains and Strongholds" where you play as the evil side instead of the god side.

Really great game. I was skeptical at first (because I hate IAPs), but I'm glad I gave this game a chance. Not only does it have a great mix of challenging gameplay, but it handles advancement within the game very fair. Yes, you can purchase very fair priced gems to advance or you can advance naturally with a reasonable amount of play. The graphics are very good and gameplay is smooth up to about level 50 when my iPad 4 starts to stutter. It's not really that bad though especially given the age of my iPad. The last two updates have made the game so much better. Thanks to the devs for a fun, fair and surprisingly cool game!

An amazing game with endless hours of gameplay. I gotta say, War Tortoise has got to be one of the best games I ever played so far. An endless fight for survival has never been so much fun! I really enjoyed the theme, unlock-able upgrades, perks, "next generation"/prestige, and so much more. This is also the first game I've played that you can actually get RID of annoying ads simply by playing the game long enough! This game deserves A LOT of recognition. This game should deserve more content added as well, because it makes PERFECT sense to add more content to a game that is already great! If Foursaken Media sees this, I already have some suggestions to make War Tortoise even more better! -Add A Story/Campaign Mode (current game mode would become Endless Survival) -More enemies, bosses to fight -More allies to aid your tortoise in the fight -More legendary heroes with more unique abilities -Add "movement" for your tortoise, make it mobile (the enemy War Tortoise in the game is bragging that it can move, a lot) -Ability to upgrade your primary weapons into more powerful ones (example: machine gun into a minigun, sniper into a super plasma gun, howitzer into a missile launcher) -More locations/maps for your tortoise to defend -Add more game performance settings or improve current game performance to help further reduce lag -Maybe an improved loading screen...?

Best game I’ve ever played. The absolute best game I’ve ever played. After an initial tutorial like phase you can choose between playing the game and going fully idle! And a while after that you can play on speeds 1x 2x and 4x! It is my absolute favourite game. And I have only run into one problem so far! It is that this game sucks up energy like you’re trying to power a toaster with your battery... 😢 If that can be fixed then this game would be perfect! Btw if I was to say how much battery it takes it would be around 50% per hour (I have a relatively bad battery though) but it still sucks the battery our of my phone 20-40x more than anything else.

Cloud Save Glitch. I upgraded my phone to the newest model but none of my progress transferred over on this game. It has the option to restore from the cloud but the cloud save it has listed is from the starting point of the game on my new device. I had unlocked everything and even purchased some of the premium perks but I can’t find a way to restore them now. The game is fun, but frustrating to lose all your progress anytime you upgrade.

Fun but here’s some advice. So it’s really fun to keep playing the game and upgrade the tortoise but it needs a story behind this and the hole next generation thing really just makes u waste the first generation

needs to slow down. it needs to slow down, i can't enjoy my upgrades individually or anything enemies die instantly and it's bugs me. Also more bosses, more often. and maybe some customizable attire amour or colors and cool trinkets and doo dads for the tortoise oh and our "protagonist" too with that being said you should also add a campaign mode to this game or some kind of story mode or land capture kind of element also the lag is horrendous with MAX settings at Maxpeed "X4" iphone 7 all apps closed and plugged in. anyway it's a great game!

Fix the wait times. The app is fun but the wait times ruin it. I have to wait an hour to play the game again whenever I die, even though I used to just be able to restart the level. I can’t even play the game a lot anymore because of the wait times.

Excellent game but.... Excellently made game and addicting but the wait time in between deaths is ridiculous. I'm having to wait more than half an hour for five minutes of gameplay. That's not fun or fair. Cut down the wait time to like 5 minutes max and you got yourself five stars.

THE WORST GLITCH. All I was doing was playing the game but the second time I was defeated I couldn't go to the upgrade shop! Awesome competitive supported game. This game is astonishing and deserves the five star rating it holds. Unique characters and the graphics are good for a mobile game. It has good sound effects and music with cool upgrades to help you survive. It isn't pay to win, minimal ads, and a solid platform.

Kickass game. I got it yesterday because I was browsing new games and saw it was free. I was hooked after 10 minutes. This game runs great and I'm playing it on my old iPhone 4. It's free get it you won't be disappointed.

This is an absolute great game, but War Tortoise could definitely bring in more firepower onto the battlefield, what I mean is there can be more to come such as new modes like multiplayer! Original. It's a tortoise in armor with a mouse on his back using a machine-gun to fight hordes of insects. It has upgrades that don't beg for money and an appropriate growth of difficulty that keeps you interested and entertained. The landscape changes seasons. Great game.

Glitch for iPhone XS. When the game is in the menu, I don’t think the game plays in the background, but closing the game out requires iPhone users to swipe up from the bottom of the screen which then opens the menu, so the game won’t progress.

Adds are aggressively annoying. You have to watch an add every time you turn the game on. It’s annoying as hell. Beyond that the adds are buggy and commonly don’t work right. I’ll watch 30-45 seconds of adds, it bugs out and then I have to restart. Another 30-45 seconds of adds. Maybe it will work, maybe not. It’s a shame, because it’s a fun game, but the adds make it unplayable for me.

Needs permanent no ads option. Please add a purchase option to permanently unlock no ads. I’d love to support this game and have no ads across reinstalls and multiple devices!

Generation Kill. Great game but extremely annoyed that somehow the game forced me to up the generation level several times. I would close out the game, open up to play later and be back at level 1 somehow. Very irritating. Should be a way to choose to go back to previous generations. Call it time hopping or something.

Awesome...just one thing. I love this game it's so unique! It's just I don't like the "wait to revive" feature, I think the creators should either, reduce the amount of time the counter raises per death OR, remove it
