Almost Perfect.. This is just what I was looking for. I have a new iPhone 12 and there is no widget?? I really wanted that. Any suggestions? Also if you could add minutes and seconds and the ability to put your own background picture then it would be perfect.

Spammy. The only way to use this app without spammy notifications is to buy the whole “growth bundle” subscription which is quite expensive just to get the days counter. There’s no way to buy the days counter by itself. I would have bought the days counter, but I don’t need the whole bundle subscription, so I just deleted the app entirely. The developer would make more money offering the counter on its own.

Annoying advertisement. This app was perfect until they added an intrusive advertisement for the developer’s “growth bundle,” which I find extremely inappropriate considering the seriousness of an addiction counter. I would love for it to be removable via settings or removed. The app was the best of its kind before this ridiculous advertisement.

Love it!. One suggestion though: can you allow multiple day counters? I wanted to add another one for something else. I really like the simplicity of this app!

Bought out by Reflectly. So Reflectly is on a crusade to get the rights to every habit or sobriety or mindfulness app so they can have a monopoly. And small app developers are happily selling their rights. Habit, Days, and many more are going from being free or affordable apps to costing 60 USD a year. Apple is apparently fine with this. Long story short, I’m going back to a paper calendar because I’m sick of getting apps only to have basic features locked out and then charged for. I suggest you do too.

Great for simple tracker. I’ve had this on my phone now for 846 days tracking my sobriety. 5 stars based on the fact that all I wanted was an app that counted days and nothing more. A huge plus and the reason I stuck with this app is because it has the widget for iPhone so I don’t even have to open anything to see my progress, just scroll to my widget screen and it’s right at the top which I love!! So if you want something basic and free this is perfect. I gave it 3 stars because since I first got this app, they have continued to go up in price for extra features and only seem to care about nickel and dimming people, not their actual sobriety. I wanted to add another tracker and I can’t without paying some stupid amount, sad what was originally affordable and truly helpful is now about greed and taking more money from people. Maybe a compromise would be to have tiers of payment so if you just need an extra tracker or want to change the theme you don’t have to pay for everything.

App has been ruined.. Prepare to be spammed by a full screen ad for the app developer’s new subscription bundle every time you open the app. What used to be a nice, simple application now costs (after the first year) SIXTY DOLLARS PER YEAR. I’m probably more willing to spend money than most and even I think this is a shameful way to monetize addiction recovery.

Was perfect, now just annoying. Every time you open the app it suggests you pay for a subscription called “the growth bundle” with a timer showing how long the deal is taking place. No matter how many times you dismiss this it continues to return and the timer resets again. I’d be fine paying a one time fee for the app but I do not understand why you have to constantly badger the user with a subscription.

Useful, but with annoying ad. This day counter is very useful in it’s simplicity. I wish, however, one could pay a few dollars to get rid of the ad that always pops up trying to sell the “growth bundle.” No, I don’t want to buy that.

Easy and simple. It’s a clean and quick way to see your numbers of days (or other increments of time). Many times, I’m somewhere someone asks how many days I have and I can’t remember. I tap the icon and boom, it pops up. I wish the number was displayed on the app so you didn’t even have to look open it but maybe there is a widget and I just did figure it out yet. Still, I’ve used other sobriety apps and they were annoying and too many steps to do random stuff. I’m keeping this one.

Love seeing the date change.... Love the simplicity of this! Hate when people take a good thing and try to overdo it. The ONLY thing I’d like to see different is an Apple Watch complication so I could have it on my watch face. Love it though!

Simple and Effective!. This is a simple app without the fuss to track days sober. I like it because it’s discreet and can be put on your Today Screen so you don’t have to open the app. Tomáš, the app creator, is very helpful and quick to reply should you have any questions. He specifically helped me set up the Wegit to appear on my iPhone. Thanks again!

Stop the Spam. Why must I be bombarded with the “growth bundle” everyday?! The timer for the deal has counted down and reset at least 6 times. It’s such a gimmick illusion to have a fake counter to increase urgency for purchasing the premium pack. All I want is something that counts days. I don’t and won’t spend $20 on it just to get rid of the advertisements.

Nice, please consider these updates. I like this, however I think it would be nice if you could put in notifications for when the updates for days goes up, and access to label what the days are about

10/10. Didn’t want anything flashy or too complex with ads or generic quotes..love the simplicity and the fact that I can show the months and total days on the same screen. Thank you for this app!!

My favorite counter. This is the best sobriety counter in the App Store. It’s simple and beautifully reminds you of your daily accomplishment. Keep going strong I will not drink with you today.

What did I pay for?. This isn’t a review on the app, exactly but I’ve just downloaded it and completely accidentally had my thumb just barely on the button on my iPad and paid the $15. I didn’t even get a chance to read what I was paying for and still don’t know. I’ve had the app in the past, briefly and don’t know what it is I’ve paid for today. The app seems pretty basic and straight forward. Oh well. I’ve turned off the auto-renew at least

Celibacy. This app helped me track my celibacy after a really bad breakup. I am going to keep using it but I’ve switched to an app that will now add it the removal of medication from my life and this app has no way to track more than one thing. If I can, please let me know. I love how simple it is and it was good to see the number increase. Thank your for taking the time to create this.

No Whistles & Bells. This is the minimalist approach to tracking the days , weeks , months , years of your sobriety . Sometimes less is more . I like the simplicity of this app. Every day is a gift . 🙏🏼💛

Simple and Design my Favorite. Very easy and simple, let’s you set your sober date down to the minute, also before you reset days it asks you if you’re sure which I appreciate, whether you you hit reset by accident or need an extra moment to reflect. Best sober counter app!!!

Simple & elegant.. I like the app because it isn’t cluttered or bloated. I wanted a clean time counter, and that’s what this does—period. It’s quite powerful to see the very simple black text against a white background. I’m an NA member, so the one thing I wish was that the user could customize the app’s icon. This one comes with a default AA triangle. It would be cool if NA members could customize it to display a circle/diamond shape. Thank you, Tomas Vitek, for such an attractive, useful app!

i feel better. i teally didnt know if i could keep it up but ive been 21 days sober off of weed so far and i feel reallly really good. ive been smoking weed almost everyday since the 7th grade. im in my sophmore year of college and have a drug test soon for a job so i just feel more connected w the real world. i know weed isnt exactly bad for you but for someone who hasnt lived a real life since 7th grade, its a start of feeling something different. i may not be in the best of moods but i know i can keep it up. this app has helped me keep count and whenever i look at how many days i been off it i feel decent ab myself. -fb

Does exactly what it says. This app does exactly what it says there are a a few settings that allow you to pick a day that you started so you don’t have to download this app as soon as you go clean

1/3 of the screen is their permanent upgrade as. All I wanted was a simple counter for days. And it was fine for a couple of months. Now I have their ad - not dismissible - on the screen taking up the top one third. I can appreciate the need for revenue, but if said no already, I mean no!

Small simple, works great. Only feature I wish for is that it would display hour and minutes as well, but beggars can’t be choosers 🙂

One option to ponder. The only option I would suggest is potentially adding a second counter. I’m personally tryingto quit two different things in my life and one app to count both would be ideal. Other than that, this app works great so far!

Why complicate things?. You had a nice little app that did nothing but count days. You could change the theme from light to dark. Perfect. It needed nothing else. Now you’ve added a bunch of features behind a paywall - that’s fine. But you’re seriously nickel-and-dimeing me on the light/dark theme? Why is that simple feature behind a paywall? I just want an app that counts days and can be switched from the super bright white layout to the nice dark one.

Widget?. Nice app. simple, which I like, but the widget is not showing for today screen, I’d like to be able to quickly look at how many days sober to give me some inspiration. Or maybe a regular Home Screen widget would be even better.

Love it already. i’m just a little confused on how to add the widget to my lock screen the option doesn’t show up but i just downloaded and already love it!

Preview in App Store. In the preview or pictures of the app in the App Store, it shows a picture of the number of days swiped down from the top of the screen instead of actually opening the app how do I do this?

Used to be good, now it’s spammy. For over a year, this app was perfect. I opened it and it told me how long it had been since I reset the timer. Now, it prompts me to spend money on something called a “growth bundle” every. Single. Time. I open it. There’s a countdown timer on the “growth bundle” offer that makes it seem like the offer will go away. But it’s been weeks and that timer keeps going up. I just want a Days app.

Sold out. Previous version was fine. But then the put Dark Mode behind a paywall and an intrusive ad every time I open the app. Not cool. It still does what it should, just not something I want to use anymore after this change to the “Growth Bundle”

Good and simple app!. Reason I’ve given 3 stars is that they don’t have a way of setting multiple counter. Plus I don’t see a widget feature for iPhone. Other then that it’s pretty much basic and easy to use. Not amazing but not horrible.

Just so simple. Needed a reminder of how many days I haven’t smoked cigarettes without the extra corny features , and this app does just that

Inspires Me to Keep Going. Being able to watch the number tick higher with each passing day inspires me to keep going. If I feel the temptation to give in and fail, I can just go to my Days app and see how far I’ve come. Sometimes, I look a few times per day. When I hit 1 year, I will likely buy myself a coin similar to an AA token. I know this simple app will help me get there. 😊

Critique. I love the app, but if I could add one thing, I would make it so you can see hours, minutes, and seconds too. Right now it only shows years, months, weeks, and days (and total days). You might as well add hours, minutes, and seconds too. It would improve the app greatly.

Very clean app. I like the way that is very simple and clean app. No adds!! I use this for my days not drinking alcohol and it helps seeing the number growing. I wish if they can add at least two more days counting. I will love to add no smoke days on the same app. I have a diferent app but I prefer this one.

Constantly being asked for money for things that used to be free. I used to be able to change the theme, and do other things on this app that helped me enjoy using it but now i’m being asked to pay for a bundle to continue using the app the same way I used to. I’m sure there are other apps that can be used that do the same thing free of charge, look elsewhere.

Love the app, hate having to join the subscription bundle. I love the app for its simplicity. But the recent change to need to pay for a $15/year subscription in order to change the theme of the app or the icon seems a little bit excessive. Even if there was a one time charge of one or two dollars to gain access to that feature I would pay for it. But I don’t need or want the any of the other apps in the bundle. And looks like a lot of other reviewers agree. Keep in mind, this is not about complaining about having to pay for apps or subscriptions. I have paid over $500 over the years for individual app purchases and subscriptions. I have no problem rewarding developers for their hard work and creativity. I just want to be able to use this simple app without having to join the annual subscription. At least give us the option of tipping the developer instead.

Nice and simple, only one thing missing.... The minimalism is great, no doubt. Only thing bugging me is i forget about this app all the time, a notification would be really useful. It would be even more rad if we customize it too, as in “sent me a notifiction for each successful day sober” or “each 2 days, week, month ect.”

Wonderfully Simple!. I wanted an app that simply displayed my days sober and this one does just that. There are tons of apps that have many other features such as a social media aspect, quotes and other bells and whistles but this one simply shows days and that is what makes it awesome. I sure hope it stays that way as that is what sets it apart. Also, when I emailed the developer he immediately got back to me which in my experience is very rare. Awesome app!

So useful. I like how this is so easy and straightforward. I use it for all kinds of things. Like I’m doing a 12 day cleanse and this helps me track how many days. That helps me stay on track. My boyfriend travels so I use this to track how many days till he’s home. I originally downloaded it to quit smoking. But now I use it for tracking all sorts of things.

Was better before. When it was just a free app with a couple controls it was nice. Now in order to change the color from white I have to pay $15 a year. No thanks. That’s stupid. It still gets the job done, but there would have been better ways to make money from it. I would have suggested it to friends if it could be purchased for like $1-10, now, I’ll just recommend another free app.

Days Review. Great app to keep track of days, weeks, months or years. Great to help encourage you to take time and reach personal goals.

Extremely disappointed with the new updates. I have used this app for a few years now and I really liked it, up until a few months ago when it has been running ads for bundling other apps in its development group. It is very annoying. Also I don’t care that it collects my data. I am going to another app that doesn’t take and use my data for its selfish ends. So disappointing

A wonderfully simple app and widget. Easy to use, simple interface for both the app and widget. I greatly appreciate the ability to track my sobriety in such a convenient way.

Not updated for iOS 14. The fact that this simple app hasn't received an update for iOS 14 widgets yet is ridiculous. The worse part is that the developers are still updating the app, but are actually taking away features by placing them behind in-app purchases. How can you expect anyone to pay for this app when it hasn't been updated in over a year?!

Simple. I’ve tried a ton of different sobriety counters and this is my favorite. No frills and extra crud to deal with just simple “here’s your days sober”. Exactly what I wanted.

This is now an ad. The app was originally free, now costs about $50 usd/year to get rid of the very annoying popup. I am not paying that. I would pay a few bucks once off, no worries — it was a good app. As it stands though, because the huge annual fee is way too much, this is 10% day counter, 90% really annoying ad. I am really disappointed in this rent-seeking behaviour. The app was really simple and needed no maintenance. The only ongoing cost appears to be maintaining the “growth bundle” advertising. Please remove it.

This is an awesome app. It does everything I need it to and does it cleanly and easily, I only wish that I could make a shared one counter so multiple users could use one counter together

No bells or whistles. This app does all I want. It displays how long I've been sober. It is incredibly plain though. Even white text on a black background would look better. I cannot get the widget to work yet but have contacted the developer. These are minor considerations for me but obviously areas that could be addressed in future versions. Version 1,4(11) has addressed my few concerns, thank you Thomas for your response.

Didn’t supply bundle as described. I paid for the initial sub at $1.49 but you get no extra benefits or the promised bundle. Really disappointing.

Widget doesn’t seem to work. Wanted to use this app for the widget. Not sure if part of the paid subscription? I’d happily pay one time fee of $5-10 but yearly subscription for unrelated apps is wayy too much.

Counts Days. It may seem too obvious to say but this app does a great job of counting and keeping track of days. So many apps get lost doing so many other things that you wonder why you even installed them. Congrats. This works

Does what it says. It works and does what it says but I don’t like how the app tries to pressure you into an annual subscription for $20 which includes a list of apps I won’t use. There’s a timer that says “sale ends in…” but when it reaches 0 it just restarts, it’s been doing this for months now

Bundle. Hello, I recently subscribed and paid for the extended bundle. It said where I can write how I’m feeling that day, ECT. I paid for it, and all I can do now is choose whether it shows days, months ECT. Am I missing something?

Love this app, but .... This app is awesome! Simple and super functional, does exactly what it says. But I wish you could label your timer and create more than one timer running at the same time!

Clearly the best. This app is so clean and clear without any clutter to distract from the key time measurement. There’s a handy toggle to hide the reset button on the screen

Intrusive Ad. After the last update, there is now a intrusive ad at the top of the screen. This is distracting and takes away from ones celebration and proudness of oneself.

Aggressive advertising ruining experience. Used to be great but now they want to sell you a subscription package. The ad for the subscription blocks the app every time you open it and you have to close it. I would be willing to pay a one time fee but never a subscription. Good bye forever Days.

Obnoxious ads. Was a fan of this app due to the simplicity. Now every time i open am inundated with abrasive advertisements. I understand the desire for revenue but I get a pop up EVERY time I open the app. At least reduce the frequency.

The Best!. Absolutely beautiful layout off the app! This really helps if you're trying to fix bad habits, start new streaks, etc. Hopefully they can add notifications for every day that passes..

Moved to subscription. I’ve been using this app for months and was really liking it. It’s nice and minimal. But the fact that it’s moved to a subscription and charges for a dark mode just doesn’t sit right. Sadly I’ll be looking for a new app now.

Didn’t get the app. I purchased it and it never downloaded on my iPhone. I was charged by Apple and now my soccer counter is just stuck on the days.

was great, now $$$. I used this app for years to count days after quitting or relapsing. Did the update and no longer free. Making someone pay for what yesterday was free is pretty sad. Remember, it’s a counter, not a complex app.

Alternate Use. Has really helped me stop s3lf harm1ng (censored because the app store will remove my review). 440 days clean today and this app helped me get there.

Minimalist. I just needed a gentle reminder of my progress not a game plan. My mind was made up I don’t need coaching I just wanted a lil reminder this app suits my minimal ways haha

Deleting the app. The recent update makes me hate opening the app. I just wanted to be able to simply see my progress and now it’s just pop ups for the subscription service that is extremely overpriced. So frustrating

subscription based now, what a true shame. I understand people need to make money, but making this app subscription based is not the right way to go, I just want a simple app, that keeps my sobriety day within my reach. I’ll be looking for other free, and non-subscription alternatives.

Disappointing. This was a five star app. Dark mode. Easy to use. Straight and to the point. Did exactly what I needed it to. Buuut then you want use to subscribe and take away dark mode. Really. Delete.

Now With Ads!. One thing I liked about this originally was the fact that it was was straightforward and ad free. Now there is a perpetual ad banner across the top with a countdown until the ad expires. But guess what? When it expires, it resets so it NEVER GOES AWAY! Deleting the app right now.

Perfectly Simple!. I have long term sobriety and like to check my day count periodically. This is perfect - no bells, no whistles, just a count. I love it!

Good app, really buggy. I have mixed feeling. When I entered my start date, I’m not doing it around sobriety I’m doing it around timing something. The first time it worked great, the second time I reset it back to zero, and it would not allow me to override the start date no matter what I did

Not the same. The ad on top didn’t use to be there and won’t let you change to dark theme as you could in the past. I guess it wants you to purchase the premium but this is not in the description in the App Store.
