TpPLC App Description & Overview

What is tpplc app? TP-Link tpPLC app lets you conveniently view and manage your TP-Link powerline devices via your smart device.

Simply connect your smart device to the Wi-Fi network of a compatible TP-Link powerline extender and start managing with ease. It will list all the compatible powerline adapters and powerline extenders in your current network, and allow you to manage your powerline devices individually as well as the whole powerline network with a few taps.

Features
• Display information of all compatible powerline devices in the current network.
• Manage a powerline device such as changing its device name, turning on or off its LEDs, viewing its data rate, resetting to factory defaults, and removing it from the current network. For a powerline extender, you can also change and schedule its Wi-Fi settings, and redirect to the web management interface.
• Manage the whole powerline network such as adding a new powerline device, setting a new powerline network name, and turning on or off the LEDs on all the powerline devices in the network.

TpPLC Comments & Reviews 2026

Stupid programming?. Wireless off scheduler is badly programmed. It will not accept wifi off from: 23h00 until 06h00 the next day. Error message that the next time is before the first. Which is technically correct. But it is the only way I see to have it off those times. Since it has no option to have WiFi on from 06h00 until 23h00.

Average control app. Great product (TL-WPA7510 KIT), taken down a notch by a very average setup and control app. The great news is that you really don’t need this except for special case setup.

Useful App (version 1.3.7). Installation was easy. It works as expected. It does what it says it would do in the description. I am using it with tplink model TL-WPA8631P KIT, which is excellent. This app allows to administer your tplink network at the basic level. It also gives you access to the web interfase for a more complete configuration. Just remember that the password to enter the web interfase is the same one as the 2.4 Ghz or 5 GHz networks. This password comes in the label on the side of the extender unit, and you can change this password with this app. Overall, I am very satisfied with this app.

Works Fine. I’m not sure why there are so many negative reviews on this app. It’s not designed to do much, but it does do what it says. I found it very helpful in diagnosing the bottleneck in my power line network. I have 5 devices, and seeing the up and download rates of each device to the other 4 was very helpful. As a side note, I discovered this helpful bit of info in the forums. If you see a big discrepancy between up vs download speed between two devices, the source of noise is likely closer to the one receiving the slower rate. eg if A->B is fast but B->A is slow, the noise source is likely near A.

Doesn’t recognize listed device. I’m connected to the extender WiFi network, but the app isn’t recognizing the device despite the device being listed as compatible on the app.

Doesn’t show network - Meanwhile desktop version works. The app, connected to the same Wi-Fi network, doesn’t show the power line devices at all. Meanwhile my Mac laptop running the TPLink PLC utility from the same manufacturer works fine.

It doesn’t work. Easy to set up. However, after a while you start having connectivity issues and extremely hard to get app support

Doesn’t work. Can’t see any of my tp-link powerline devices. Please fix

Seamless✨. I was skeptical 🤨 at first, due to past experiences with new and innovative products that get your money and leave a person stupefied in wires and bad instructions. Not the case with this “tp-link 300Mbps Wi-Fi” outfit. After opening the box and gandering at the instructions a bit. I followed the easy to understand instructions and BAM!!! Done. I moved the Extender to my desired location and again, things worked as explained. So far so good 😊 I’m a happy camper, and so is the rest of the family. I didn’t have to unplug or shut down my WiFi connection to do it. That was impressive and SEAMLESS!!!

Can’t access my local network. Just installed this on my iPhone and it asked me to go to settings and give it local network access. I went to settings and the app isn’t there. Seems like it could work if it was … but who knows …

No device found. App insists on “no device found” even though it’s obviously connected to one.

The App Doesnt Work. These are a great product for internet connectivity. I don't even know why they have this app on the App Store. I've not seen one review where it works! And I am using compatible devices. ~P.

Great Wi-Fi for grandkids room. It linked up on my first attempt with no issues and it has been working ever sense. The kids are no longer complaining about buffering during movies. According to the app the link speed through the electrical wiring is running over 300 Mbs. Being an old timer from the 1940s I am really impressed with the simplicity of this system.

Power Line Support Models Please. Please support power line only non-WiFi models such as: TL-PA7020 KIT_V2 and TL-PA8010 KIT A mobile app is much easier than using the desktop app

P gud. Took a couple minutes to set up the extender and clone the existing network settings. LED toggle is a nice feature and name changes etc seem pretty responsive

Trash. This company blows this is extremely difficult to manage and directions are unclear.

Newer devices not supported. Completely useless as newer devices are not supported by the application. Will have to uninstall this junk.

Doesn’t work on iOS 15. Requires access to the local network, but app is not listed in the iOS Settings menu so that you can provide permission to access the local network. Hopefully vendor will update app to solve this.

No Ethernet support. This app does not work for their entire Powerlink product line, which is not acceptable. TP-link should support their customers by keeping their app up to date. DO NOT BUY THEIR PRODUCTS.

Was very unsure, but works amazingly. My garage is 200’ from the router making a reaper almost impossible. Literally plugging in both devices took 5 minutes, and my garage has internet!

Buggy, intermittent app function.. I have the TL-WPA4220 KIT to get internet to a dead spot in one bedroom. There is very little app or firmware support for issues on these devices, but I did get it up and running and was able to use this app and the link to web based settings from inside the app for some time. I had the base unit in an old router from maybe 2005 (router being used as AP) and in general I could load the app and check settings and status. I upgraded the AP router to an old NetgearR6300 for better AP speeds. After that, I can not see any of the PLC through this app. I can see on the PC program (off and on) and I know the WiFi is working on the PLC, but it doesn't load on the app. Tried resetting, re-syncing, etc etc. again, can see when connect a computer to the WiFi or LAN port on the PLC, but not the app. I also find on my phone only the internet from the PLC constantly loses access and comes up with some random funky IP. Again, only on my iPhone which is the only phone with the app. But all other devices work. Anyway, 1 star since the devices are working and can access settings via LAN but not the phone app after just a change of the AP it's running through. One more note. If I move the 2 devices to one same outlet spot and connect, then the app sees them sometimes. It's useless unsupported tech and program. Very disappointing....

Doesn’t see my devices. Updated due to user error. Once I plugged in my new device, the app could see every TP-LINK device on my network, through the new device. I was able to go in and rename everything to create a seamless experience for users (they only see two networks, one for normal, one for 5G). I have one device that is dramatically underperforming out of 4, and the app helped identify, but not troubleshoot that. ——————— Like other reviewers, this app does not see any of my devices, old or new.

App doesn’t show up in setting page. Can’t manage it from the app because the app doesn’t show up in iPhone settings to allow network access. That’s a poorly written app.

Ignored SW. I use tp2000 and 1300 Hardware is ok it seems to work Sw is neglected by the company Does not even come up on Mac iOS version is buggy Most of the time it does not find the devices

Good WiFi power line extender.. I have a home internet computer system with WiFi capability using a router and a WiFi extender. My house is not wired with Ethernet cable. To operate a WiFi sprinkler controller, located in my garage, from my house or yard; I needed to get a WiFi signal to go through a brick wall. Using the house and garage electrical wiring, this power extender worked very well and the price was much lower than any other alternative.

Needs updated. Doesn’t support my newer devices. desktop app works fine.

Stopped working. Horrible and really unreliable app. Just stopped working after the latest iOS update.

Poor customer support. This app was worthless. I called customer service to find they are not available. Waited 20 minutes in queue for an agent on chat. I got a response from ‘Daryl’ once every 4 minutes, and was ultimately disconnected with no resolution. Ridiculous product and service support

Only supports TL-WPA devices. Despite the TL-PA* manuals all indicating that you can manage the device using this app, the app itself only lists a handful of TL-WPA* devices (i.e. those thst also include a wifi radio) as supported, with "More coming soon..." As this app is years old, I'm not holding my breath, and may be returning the devices themselves.

Fails to recognize devices. Most of the time it doesn't recognize TP devices, even when they are close by. Occasionally it will see them, but it is very unpredictable.

Doesn’t work with new TL-PA7010 I just bought. Not supported yet?

Not great. App will not connect to my devices or recognize them

Does not work for all Powerline devices. Was excited to expand my network throughout my house. Sadly this app doesn’t work for me to manage the devices I just ordered TP-WAP7617

Basically abandoned. Doesn’t support the Av2000 after years of waiting.

No WPA4220 v1 coverage. This app doesn’t work with WPA4220 v1, though it says it works with v2, 3, and 4. Not a really big deal, unless, like me, you’re rocking the old original, v1. Please send money so that I can throw out my perfectly good v1 and buy new units!! Oh, the windows tpPLC works great, as do my 4229 v1s. Just would like to add iPad compatibility .

Does not work. Mac version of the app finds powerline adapters just fine but this one doesn’t. Non-functional junk.

Info about this app not aligned. In the website the 4220 Kit is referring to this app but this kit is not supported. Add it guys! :)

Outdated, does not work with recent hardware. Similar experience as others. The PC ap works fine but the iOS ap does not recognize the latest hardware. I have the 9610 kit and the 9020 kit. Website lists the ap as compatible for both but it is not!!!!

Horrible…used to work great. Used to be able to see all 6 of my Powerline adapters. NOW…it can not see any of them!? Tried deleting the app and then reinstalling it…nothing! Used to be a great app! Please fix

Terrible. This app doesn’t allow for iOS14+ network discovery because it fails to request it from the OS. Without that request from the app, you can’t enable the feature yourself in settings. Absolutely unusable.

Can’t do one Powerline thing. Try changing Powerline name from default on two PLC devices after they are linked up via powerline. The initial PLC adapter device loses its IP after it links up with a second PLC device, such as WiFi extender. You can see it in this app as one of your powerline devices, but you can’t configure or do anything with it from this app. Nor from the web GUI, as it does not have and IP address anyone once it’s linked up over powerline. For how elementary this app is, it can’t even do one thing which is directly related to powerline configuration. The WiFi extender settings could have been covered by Tether app (not that Tether offers anything beyond just the very very basic WiFi configuration, even there with very limited options).

TL-WPA4220. cannot be detected using iOS apps, desktop works fine but mobile much easier please fix this issue ASAP

Total junk. Does not work at all. I have a compatible power linedevice and got the app by scanning my box and instructions. The app saw my device and kept asking me to create a new password. Many very careful attempts later it still would not let me create one. The apps features are pretty low end but nice IF they work. They indicate you can turn off the lights which is nice for a bedroom. But that never worked. Just spoke to my son who has the mesh units in his house which he bought yesterday. The units work great but exactly the same issue with this confounded app. It is total crap and should be pulled from the store.

Can’t detect any of my power line devices. None of them. Useless tool.

Very Nice!. Setup was simple! Addition of 4220’s simple. My condo is covered with WiFi. My TV’s are wired now and are working much better.

Security inadequate. Just go the hardware and installation was a snap. After pairing and configuring the device settings the hardware worked well. Once logging in to the app with admin Id and password, there is no way to log out of it. Closing the app by swiping up does not log you out of the app. The only way is to delete the app entirely and reload from the App Store. Also, The Wi-Fi password is visible when app is open. It should be hidden.

Worked fine until for a month. It worked fine for about a month but then anything you clicked on would tell you “operation timeout” I can’t even change my password because of this please fix ASAP

Can’t see network!. Doesn’t show up in list of apps to grant permission to.

A Waste. I’ve spent a lot of time trying to get this to connect to my device. No luck and no support link in the settings.

Doesn’t work for actual tp-link power line adapters. I have four, and this app doesn’t see them. I have to use a desktop app, which is wonky. Why?

Broken app. The app fails to ask iOS for local network permissions, and therefore fails to work as I can’t add it manually without the app requesting access.

Doesn’t really work. Keeps crashing on MacBook and can’t find the device via app on iPhone...useless

Rubbish app - doesn't work. Does work on 4227 model adapter

The app is useless. Using this with the Av600 powerline kit. Terrible. The only real function of this is to turn the LEDs off and on again. Which in my opinion is completely useless because the LEDs are indicators of if its working. Needs way better uses. Cant even see internet speed.

Please PLEASE fix the app and save your brand!!!. Please just hire a good developer and work with your engineers to make the app functional! I just want to see my powerlines data rates but the app can’t even find the devices most of the time even tho I am connected to them.

App is poor but wpa4220 kit works well. Will need to download the tpPLC software for your computer to have full access to manage the devices. App is next to useless. Had a problem with wifi dropping frequently. Found to be caused by frequent internet drops with the ISP. If Ethernet connected to the extender unit, you will see the LAN light flick off & on showing the drop out. Wifi then fails despite wifi light staying lit. A third party wifi device is more forgiving of internet drops and will keep the wifi connected. Needed to run PINGPLOTTER to find the internet fault. Once I resolved with the ISP to get a stable connection, wifi issue on the extender was fixed.

How the **** do I change a password with this app??. Changed the password on setup but it still defaulted. What a waste of $300

It doesn't work. I've got 4 x 8010P devices on the same network as my phone. I'm writing this review on the internet connection that traverses the Powerline adapters but still the app doesn't find any. The app on my PC on the same wireless network finds them without an issue.

No option to disable DHCP. Doesn't give you the ability to manually disable the DHCP server, so the wifi extender causes havoc on a network which already has a DHCP server

Doesn't work. TpPLC doesn't exist in settings to set network access permissions.

Missing ‘Power Save’ function. The app ‘found’ my adapter and extender no problem and the functions seem to work fine. However it is missing the ‘power save’ option. The adapter unit is set to save power after 5 minutes of inactivity as a default. This means that when watching a video it turns itself off after 5 minutes. Very frustrating. This function isn’t mentioned in the manual or set up guide. To switch off Power Save Mode you have to download the utility app and enter the advanced settings to find Power Save Mode. For something that is likely to impact every user it’s crazy it’s not in the app and not mentioned in the set up guide.

A stone would have more functionality. … than this app.

Needs support for more devices. Needs support for non-WiFi devices, like the TL-PA9020P.

Useless. I'd give it no stars if possible, never detects my power line adapters.

Junk App!. If you're here it means you've already bought the hardware - consider returning for another product that has a working software package. This junk App doesn't have the all models and isn't certified for MacOS. The hardware works well enough though it's very difficult to do any management via the App(s) - you need to apply workaorunds to get in and manage the hardware via the software.

Not working. Unable to find my eop devices... back to the desktop version for now

WOEFUL support for Mac users. You people really need to up your game in support for Mac users you don’t have enough applications and support programs to cover all your items available to be service on all Mac platforms It’s not as if Apple I need to start a business this year get it together

Can’t find my adaptors. They’re supposed to be supported but can’t be found.

Useless. The app is next to useless. It isn't clear if you need to connect your phone to your normal home wifi SSID or 1 of the 2 SSID from the device. I have tried all 3 and eventually found 1 device, which it then refuses to connect to. May as throw the app in the bin as its poorly designed.

Pointless. It has one job and couldn’t even get started. Doesn’t even appear in the list of app settings.

Needs an update. Please make more devices compatibile.

Ease of time. Doesn’t detect tl-wpa4220. Waste of time and effort.

Hopeless. Works briefly then drops out never to return. It may crash your network with all users getting message “your “Ethernet” does not have a valid ip. If you see that your well and truly screwed.

Flaky. I have to reset the Wi-Fi extenders in our setup every month or so. No explanation they just stopped working. Another annoying thing is that there doesn’t appear to be any way you can change your login email identity. Which is a huge problem if you decide to change your email address.

Scam product. I bought the Av600 powerline wifi kit - TL-WPA4220 KIT and try to setup this app which doesn’t even show up in apps to do the prompts when first click on it… why produce a product that you can’t even setup the management side of things honestly fix this ASAP otherwise I’m returning all my products for something that is actually going to work properly

Deco. Doesn’t work

Simple to setup and use… when the units are the right way around. I bought an AV1300 kit that came with a main unit and a repeater unit that has Wi-Fi. To be clear for the sake of this review, only the repeater unit has Wi-Fi and that’s perfectly fine. I kept plugging in the large main unit into the modem and the smaller repeater unit into a power point further away but it would connect and then drop out. I chatted with TP-Link and was helped in 2 minutes: the small unit is the main unit and the larger unit is the repeater! Makes sense since the repeater has more functionality, i.e. it has Wi-Fi. Once that was sorted and I stopped being embarrassed, I have only one issue left: the 2.4GHz Wi-Fi download (only the download) drops to <1 Mbps when it should be around 50Mbps. The upload is fine. Although this app lets me see the powerline speeds in both directions, it doesn’t really let me check much about the Wi-Fi. However, for all other functions, it is simple and easy to use. The app could do with a few extra features, namely more Wi-Fi troubleshooting capability.

Utility for Mac and IOS. On Mac version, it is really nothing and cannot work at all. App cannot open On IOS, it open and find nothing. Don’t know what is this apps. Very disappointed

Horrible. This app is useless much like the hardware. Just burn your money it’d be more satisfying than owning a TP-Link product.

Still no Support for TL-PA4010P. Checking the reviews and yep, still no support for a severely outdated app, I thought TP-along were on their game, clearly not.

Need to add more models. Need to add this models TL-WPA4220 and TL-PA4016P

Useless. I just purchased a TL-PA7017 kit and this app doesn’t even work with my PowerLine Ethernet adapter. If I could leave zero stars I would. Waste of time installing!

Flawless. Had no problems setting up the power line units nor controlling basic setting with the app.

Useless for current models. Please update app for current models.

Why is TL-PA7017 not supported?. Might be a great app, if it supported more recent Tp-link powerline extenders.

Works pretty well, limited controls. PLC networking depends on your electrical installation, which is to blame if your PLC network is not reliable or provides poor data speeds, not necessarily the PLC hardware. As per the app, it works, though it was updated only once in the last twelve months! I would expect more controls and access to logs from within the app directly.

Good. It works for my ac wifi extender

Extender. Very poor quality, last dlink product I will ever buy.

Useless. I have a TL-PA8010 and this app is useless for it

Brutal. Does not work as IOS APP, for the powerline adapter. Then the MAC download you cannot install either. How do you sell products and not support them or leave people hanging on something that should be easy. BRUTAL

TL WPA4220 KIT (probably V1). This app will not connect anyone have any idea when more versions are going to come online?

Needs Work. The local pc app works better. Could be good if it detected all adapters.

Awful. They need to update this app or include the functionality in Tether. There are no permissions to access the network so this app won’t work.

Doesn't work at all. The Mac OS app finds all my Powerline adapters and let's me adjustable them, see the speed, etc. This iOS app sees no adapters and as such is completely useless (and yes, all devices are compatible).

Dosent work on apple. Unimaginable how can u put something that dosent work on apple

Waste of time.... Unfortunately, this app is not up-to-date and does not support my TL-PA9020P kit... After spending few minutes resetting everything with the hope to see something coming live, the conclusion was quite deceptive... Unless there is a major update, do not download...

Quality. Never able to list available devices. Poor stability.

Out of date. Doesn’t support TL-PA9020. A mobile app would be extremely useful for testing a link while trying to optimize the powerline configuration. Too bad this app doesn’t support current units.

Time waster. Thank you for minis 30 minutes it took from my life to discover the app advertised on the product page does not work for this product!!!

Useless.... Only supporting a small list of units...

Can’t buy individual units. I bought the WiFi kit - actually works great - but they don’t seem to sell individual add ons ( like additional WiFi ends ) so it’s sort of a con - to add another single unit, you need to buy another base with a kit - seems like a waste to me

This App is trash. It doesn’t work at all. Followed instruction and nothing. Won’t pick up the power line extender with its own network and pass or with WPS and cloning my wifi router. Don’t waste your time downloading this.

TL-PA9020 not supported yet???. How can you not do what it need to control your devices on Apple OS?!

Great app until update. Unable to detect devices after upgrade. Was a great app when it was working. Less 2 stars!

Stable once setup. A bit of fussing to get wifi to one of the out buildings on our ranch. Had to add another plug outlet on the circuit and that did the trick. Now have a stable 522 - 544 MPS more than enough for Alexa and smartphone apps

no longer supports tl-pa7010. at some point they updated the app and dropped support for legacy devices that require the app so now I have $200 in blocky paperweights thanks. hopefully there is a class action lawsuit in progress

Useless. Might be OK if it worked - but I'll never know because it fails to find any of my Powerline adapters. So it's a waste of your time. Don't bother, there are plenty of other time wasters out there to choose from!

Not bad!!. Wish I had more control of the end units, but it met my needs! Nice work

Sooo out of date. As many others have noted, this does not support any of their latest models. The last update release notes state that it is now compatible with an operating system that is nearly 2 years old at the time of this writing. If this is an abandoned product, they should rename it as obsolete, it would also be great if they offered one that was up to date. I will be returning my powerline kit as I have no way to troubleshoot why it isn’t working.

Latest flagship product not supported. Come on, this cannot be hard. New update: still no updates for 10 months. TPlink continues to be a half baked company. #neverAgain Update: there has been no updates in 8 months. A brand shows how valuable it is not only by its products, but also its support. This app should be updated to include its latest offerings, or remove it from the store...

Doesn't detect my devices. This app is compatible with a tiny handful of products. Doesn't detect any of my recent devices. What's the point?

Doesn’t work. The Android version is flawless. Can’t see any of my config on the iOS app.

Works as expected. Just tried it and it works as expected

No frills, gets the job done. My experience was great. Download the app, it immediately recognized my device, and I was able to log in and change the wifi ssid and password without any issues. App is small, and loaded fast. No complaints here.

Do Not Buy This. It’s never worked. The company has no service. Awful experience Ana a complete waste of my money and time.

Won’t update Firmware. Who knows how much the performance degenerate given the Firmware won’t update. tpPLC needs to bridge this issue with some sort of patch which allow the update.

Doesn’t work for supported device. My device is listed as a compatible product, but says “no devices found” while connected to the same network as my TP Links. Frustrating would be an understatement, as all their support documentation suggests the app for troubleshooting.

Model: TD-W8961N(TR). This model is modem add please

Add AV-2000 Support. Doesn’t currently see my AV-2000 power line Ethernet adapters. Please add support.

Can't detect devices on iphone. Installed the app and could not find any of my 4 power line devices that my desktop can.

🤞🏻Suerte!

Doesn't work- still doesn't work. Doesn't detect- even listed devices

No support for the 4220. No support for the 4220 despite what it says in the description.

Works. Does it's job. I don't see how to manually set channels, but works fine on iPad.

Great app. Great app that works with great device

Doesn't do anything. This app does not connect to my device. Terrible user experience and functionality.

how-about supporting the 9020 gigabit extender. App has not been updated in a while. how about supporting the 9020 gigabit power line product

No support for current gen V2 devices. This app is useless and needs to be updated to match their current models.

App doesn’t support model 4220. TP-Link App Developers please add support for this model number!

Doesn't detect device. Not able to sync with last year's power link device

Works well, fast, no major issues. Set up was very simple and throughput over the PowerLine network is excellent. I ran into a problem where I had to power cycle one of the TP-LINK units to get them to show up in the iOS app, and the app isn't as full featured as the web interface, but otherwise I'm perfectly happy.

Works great. I just got the TP WPA 8730 kit. The instructions that came with it was very sparse, but the devices were fairly easy to set up. After reading previous reviews, I just plugged both devices on a power strip and hit the pair button. I then just plugged the adapter at the router and the WPA at the other end of the house. The annoying part was that the instructions did not state how to get this app (tpPLC) to customize the network. There is a corresponding client you can get for Windows and Mac computers. Using the apps are a breeze if you have set up home networks in the past. What was annoying was the 4 hours I then spent to try to get my network printers and scanners to work. I am still working on that.

Doesn't work. Isn't compatible with my device and I can't find any way to change my password,

Doesn't see my devices. This app doesn't see any of my powerline devices. Totally useless.

Hit or miss.... Sometimes sees my devices, sometimes not. Doesn’t have much power or control elements even in the rare cases it recognizes the device. Agree with others: no support, no imagination, not worth it. Sad

This might be tp-links worst app. Absolute rubbish. You people should be ashamed of yourselves.

Not work. Does not detect my device.

BLAH. I have 5 TP link extenders in the home. They connect my Sonos devices as well as extend the WiFi outside the home (we live in a rural acreage). This software registers zero devices even though I’m less than 3 feet away from one - and 10 feet away from another. TP Link makes a nice product - but their software is beyond terrible. It’s horrible - atrocious - unintuitive - cumbersome- wonky - ill conceived - amateurish...

Add support for more model types. Please

Piece of crap. does not detect any device connected to TP link PLC, this app is a piece of crap, so is TP plc

Cannot find any device. .

Not enough models. Very few models are compatible, so this app is useless for many users.

Cured my problem!. I was unable to get a usable Wi-Fi signal from my router in the house to my attached woodshed. As soon as I walked out the door of the aluminum clad shed the signal was usable; walk inside the door and the Wi-Fi signal was dead. Used a 200 mb power line adapter to router, but could only manage a poor signal to laptop in shed. Monday after Christmas installed this product, set up Mesh configuration and now have excellent wi-fi to phone, IPad and laptop through wood shop and anywhere in the house! This was an excellent solution—so easy to configure to TP-Link router.

Doesn't work!. I installed the app and it couldn't find my 2 PLC devices! It's useless.

Need Powerline Extender. App needs a TP-Link Powerline Extender to work. I only have Powerline Adapters and use Airport Extremes, so it can detect the Powerline Adapters. App should be updated to find Powerline Adapters on any wifi network, not just. TP-Link wifi network. Lame.

Lost my connection. Can't connect to my previously detectable power line adapters. What happened?!
