I hate care credit.. The app is ok. It doesn’t remind you to make a payment nor does it accept automatic payments. It’s almost like they want you to miss your payments. And once you do, you can if it’s just a couple of days (because that’s literally all I’ve missed- a couple of days), they will reduce your credit line so that you’re over the limit and they’ll keep reducing it every month. This company is literally the worst and they’re predators. There’s NO reason to do this to customers that miss the payment date by TWO days. The rest of my credit with everyone else is spectacular and Care Credit is ruining my credit by doing this. They need to be fined for being the predators they are. Their name is a lie. Unless they’re talking about themselves that they care about. It’s not their customers that keep their business running. AWFUL COMPANY. RUN AWAY. CARE CREDIT YOU SHOULD BE ASHAMED AND SHUT DOWN AND FINED TO THE MAX!!!!

SynchronyBank is terrible. I was able to use care credit to get my wisdom teeth removed a little over a year ago. I paid all of it, $1300+ and had the balance at $0. Got hit with an interest payment of $2 four days after. Got hit with hard inquiry for this, and somehow I still have a 100% payment rate. The company has employees across 2 continents but won’t allow you to speak on the phone with anybody of relevance to the company. Nobody that can actually help you. They filed a dispute for me but also investigated me so that they wouldn’t have to help me on paper. I doubt it will be disputed considering Synchrony Bank sent me an email stating this. My score dropped nearly 100 points for this 2 dollar interest payment that I didn’t know about, then Care proceeded to not care. It seems they just worked against me.

App is good but annoying on IOS. I’m a fan of Care Credit and the app is pretty basic and gives me what I normally need from it. I can easily make payments without much problem and it’s easy to find things like promotional expirations which are the big things I use it for. However, in the last year the app has become annoying and sends promotional messages about once or twice a week. This creates badge notifications and I have to login to the app and navigate several menus to delete them to make the badge go away. Its junk mail. It’s a waste of my time and it’s doing it more increasingly. I want to disable these but there’s no option to. Please allow us to disable the stupid promotional messages. I got 4 of them this week

Account Activity Buggy. I was really thankful for this app for helping me pay off my dog's medical bill and my experience was pretty smooth up until I was about to schedule in my last payment which never showed on my Account Activity. Thus, after waiting a few days to see if my scheduled payment would appear, and it didn't, this led me to believe that I had to schedule it again. No cash was taken out of my account each time I scheduled a payment up until it somehow randomly went through and I got charged TWICE (as of the time this review is being written). I'm hoping it didn't go through more than twice since it doesn't really show me anything and as another review states, feels like I'm being punished for trying to pay off my bill so quick. It'd be convenient if there was another way to contact support such as through email or even request a dispute through the account history section.

Very useful. You can check promotional balances that are no interest and their promo expiring dates and if you call the number through the app someone will answer and you can’t designate additional payments amounts destinations so that you can stay as interest free as possible with the promotional offerings. When they do add interest, it was either a non qualifying purchase (too small or not medical related) or expired. If not paid in full by the time the expiration of the promo occurs, interest is backdated to the date of the charges inception for the full amount of the purchase regardless of how much you have paid toward it so it is imperative to pay it off before that date if you want to use this card intelligently and if you have the means to do so. Otherwise I would use only in emergencies

Incessant notifications for message center that cannot be turned off. Otherwise great app. However, you cannot turn off the notifications for inapplicable message center alerts. Literally every time I try I get an error that says “We are unable to complete your request at this time. Please try again later.” And a quick Google search makes it pretty clear that this is by-design and has been happening for some time. Is there intent to fix this issue? Only the developer knows. Currently, from what I can see the only answer is to turn off notifications through IOS, which means also not getting payment due reminders unless you have it set up to send email alerts - which you have to do through the website, because, well, the error above happens. Fix this issue, and it’s a useful app. Don’t fix it, and it’s good for paying your bill if you have the email alerts set up. Otherwise it’s noisy and intrusive with a bunch of messages you don’t want, need, or care about.

I’m so glad I got this card.. The CareCredit card through Synchrony Bank is the best credit card I own. I have multiple cards with Synchrony, but this one stands out because it allows me to keep all my medical expenses in one place. One of the biggest benefits is the rewards program, which offers great redemption options at various stores. Additionally, the card provides insurance coverage option, in case I lose my job or become unable to work. While I hope to never need it, it’s reassuring to know that Synchrony will work with me to prevent my interest rates from skyrocketing during tough times. Another great feature is the health and wellness blog, which provides valuable information on a wide range of topics. Overall, this card has been a fantastic financial tool, and I’m really glad I got it!

Life saver. When I traveled to Miami durning my Halloween vacation 2024. As soon as I landed into the Florida Miami airport . I’m am a California resident so I didn’t plan for needing an emergency tooth extraction. Especially because only a month prior to my vacation visit I went to get checked at the dentist have in my home town San Diego (getting told I have no cavity and I’m cleared for not needing anything until my next 6 month cleaning . ) so when I was chewing gum as I was in the Miami airport part of my tooth in the far back got chipped . Apparently Florida or the Miami part of town I was visiting didn’t accept my government assistance insurance and I had to pay out of pocket . Thankfully care credit was able to fund the service payment upfront . I’m having to make payments but thankfully I’m having no apr as long as I pay it prior to the length of credit promotion period . I’m grateful for that . I’m still bummed about having one less tooth and having it removed on my vacation but it has made me become more aware of asking more questions prior to traveling .

Exceptional app!!. Very pleased with the flow and security of the CareCredit Mobile app! I’ve been able to do everything except initial setup on the app and I appreciate this! Also, there’s offers for pet insurance and other services that can save you money!! Thank you Care Credit for coming in and helping me save my Pug many future eye issues by choosing to go ahead and do an optional Entropion surgery at under one year old!!! Because I was an ophthalmology LVT I know how this surgery will prevent many unwanted injuries in the future so I’m thankful Care Credit was there to help me get this done and immediately! I give the Care Credit app 10 STARS AND 20 STARS for the actual credit service!!

The App design is excellent. This app is easy and precise to show transactions. It tracks payments clearly even before statements are generated. Also shows vet hospital credits applied so I can confirm amounts with the vet hospital statements. I’m so glad I learned about care credit when my cat recently developed nasal lymphoma, a fast, aggressive, and fatal cancer. A CT and other diagnostic procedures were needed to come to this diagnosis, giving me the needed facts to make the correct and most humane decisions for her. I had to euthanize her before her suffering increased. Thanks to the no-interest deferred payment promotions I can manage the debt, and have peace in my heart that I was able to do the best for my tabby cat Honey up until the end of her precious life.

Does not respect notification settings. I have all notifications turned off within this app, yet I still get lock screen, home screen, and app badge notifications for things I have turned off inside the app. They have now subscribed me to motivations about a podcast they are hosting (and who is listening to a podcast about having to use a credit service to pay for basic human needs like healthcare?????). There is no way to unsubscribe. When you try to go to support for the app from the Apple App Store, it takes you to their generic customer service website with agents who only have the ability to help with your account, payments, etc. and have no ability to report any app malfunctions to the developers. I know I can turn off the notifications within my Apple Settings menus, but then I won’t get payment notifications, etc. Additionally, the app often will fail to load correctly due to server issues. A poorly designed app for a predatory lending service.

SO easy to use!!. I love this app! One of the easiest financial apps to navigate - I wish more could be this easy! I love how the app allows you to view the breakdown of your promotional purchases, I just wish there was an easier way to make individual payments to each of your promotional accounts if you want to pay off one before another. So far as I know, you still have to call in to request that is how you want your payment to be directed. I also appreciate the ability to access all of your other Synchrony accounts directly from inside the app.

Acc shut down. I was very satisfied with this account and program. Honestly would have rated in a five star but for some reason, even though I have my auto pay set up and it has gone through every month, and I still have money in my bank, my last auto pay was declined, and apparently due to this without any warning! My account was shut down. I am extremely frustrated. I was also told that I could open a new account after the remaining balance payed. By the way it was one payment left. But I am afraid that due to having a recently closed bank, the system will not allow me to get a new card and I will have my credit pulled for no reason. No one seems able to give me any definite information regarding this issue. Of course, I will reach out to my bank and ask what happened but I even be able to tell me anything helpful as it seems this is the common thing for one bank to blame another bank. Not having a warning is not a good policy. But if I didn’t have money in my account, and the payment was declined. I would understand at least somewhat. But I do have money in my account and it does not show any declined payments. I believe this issue. To be a synchrony bank error and feel unjustly treated.

Applying saved my dog.. Applying and being pre approved with a temporary card made a life or death situation a bit easier. Having this card as a cushion saved our 10 month old German shepherd puppy. We live pay check to pay check like most families do and I was recently let go from our second income when our pup decided to try to jump the fence to get to us. She impaled herself in the stomach near her bladder. Having this to pay for her vet visit was the only way we could afford the surgery and save her life. Thank you for coming up with this card and app to make life easier when crazy circumstances come up.

App is fine. This company is awful.. Long story short, we needed a loan to cover a medical expense we couldn’t pay for outright. We investigated multiple options and this one seemed to be the best option for us. We looked at their website and qualified for a long term loan without interest. It wasn’t explicitly clear that a given provider wouldn’t necessarily allow you to take that option. A provider will allows you to sign up for a subset of those items, even if you qualify for better. We where pushed through paperwork not understanding this (shame on the provider) before finding this out. When I asked CareCredit they educated me, but admitted there is no way ahead of time to know what a provider will let you select or (more importantly) audit problems like this after the fact. In short, there is zero accountability or recourse. Once screwed, stay screwed. This alone was bad, but it gets worse. I added my spouse as a registered card user, but they accidentally mistyped the name in a distinctly weird way, which we had fixed later. We paid off the loan and not even two months later we got a credit card offer in the mail for the name that they mistyped from a third party. They sold our information. I’m sure this was probably more fine print that we “agreed” to, but none of this was transparent. We would never chosen this company if I didn’t have to (out of desperation) at the time. Shame on you.

Doesn’t work at all. I wish I could give this zero stars because I haven’t been able to use it to determine its actual rating. I downloaded the app before the iOS update to 12, but it didn’t work. I’ve since updated my phone and all apps but if still doesn’t work. I get an error message that says “We are unable to complete your request at this time. Please try again later.” I’ve uninstalled and reinstalled the app. I’ve tried it on WiFi, cell data- nothing. I did an online chat with customer service, they had no idea why it didn’t work. I sent a secure message to customer service and was told I had to call in because this error message may be one of several things (huh?). So I called. First she told me that it’s something to do with Apple’s security blocking their website through Safari. I am able to log in via Safari, but not the app. So I’m assuming she asked around and the response I received is that in spite of the fact that this app was just updated two weeks ago, they are no longer supporting the iPhone app. What?!? I’m so confused and have an app that doesn’t work. So disappointing.

Vet visit payment declined. I’ve had Care Credit for several years. Only used it at our vet’s office. Then went to use it for my dog’s visit in January 2023 only to discover that our card was declined by Care Credit because we didn’t have the new Care Credit card with the MasterCard logo on it. When I called and spoke with a representative, I was told we cannot apply for that card because MC does random selections for current Care Credit card holders. She then inferred that maybe my credit score was too low! My credit score was 833 at that time and it’s even higher now. What an insult from that very rude person! So I cannot use my current Care Credit card at my veterinarian’s office, regardless that I’ve used it in the past and ALWAYS paid my balance well ahead of schedule! My veterinarian’s office stated they would not apply for the new updated Care Credit with the MC logo account because their customer service is one of the worst they’ve ever had to deal with. I totally understand what they are talking about, because the “customer service” person I’ve had to speak with was extremely rude and disrespectful to me! I’ve had to use my personal credit card to pay for vet visits and still manage to pay them off after two payments. But my credit worthiness by paying all my bills doesn’t matter to Care Credit or apparently Master Card either.

Highly Decent. I'm a CareCredit lover in general. Credit cards are the devil and all that but CareCred has saved me some serious financial hassle getting dental work done on both me and my cat. The fact that they allow you to use it for veterinary work has seriously improved the quality of my life and my pet's life. So the app is great as well, it makes it so easy to deal with all this. The one complaint I have is that the balance showing on the app doesn't update quickly, especially if you pay on a Friday or weekend, so sometimes it leaves money 'floating' out there in cyberspace, which is an incredibly uncomfortable sensation especially if it's a lump payment. I've never had serious issues though kudos to CareCred.

Love it. This app has made things a whole lot easier. I had misplaced my card. I had to call to request a new card then wait the 7-10 days to receive. Getting through customer service and to the right department takes time and I'm always getting other phone calls while trying to reach an agent. I needed this card to pay for a dental procedure and didn't have it yet. I downloaded the app and it had all my new info ready for me. I love having the electronic card and it allowed me to pay for my procedure without an issue. I've been able to do everything needed on this app and not having to make that long phone call for assistance has saved a lot of time for me, something I seem to not have enough of.

Wonderful app. I was in IMMESE pain, my tooth was broken and I couldn’t eat or sleep and didn’t have the money to get it fixed. This app not only approved me for my surgery to get the tooth removed but I was able to pay for almost all the dental work I needed. No interest, easy monthly payments. I genuinely recommend this app to my friends or anyone who needs work done. It’s not like other apps that try and take advantage of those in pain by charging crazy interest fees for medical work, they just generally want you to feel better. I didn’t have to make my first payment until after my tooth surgery.

Easy and simple. I’m over 50 and not great with the newest multiple versions of paying my bill and the app is one stop functions that are easy to initiate and it follows me thru every step. I also like that I can see everything in one request and get a snapshot of everything I need. I did find something that is a suggestion and actually is a positive option for Care credit. In short, if you make a payment let’s say today, and you decide to pay more to the account. When I tried the 2nd payment the online option stated I cannot make 2 payments same day! Now of course I could call stay on phone, but here’s the easy process. Go back in and cancel your first payment for today. Then after you cancel, go right in and pay the additional amount with whatever you were paying initially. All I’m saying is I like your online options but as a customer, it would be nice. Out would also be nice if I remembered the correct smount!😁thank you for reading this sorry so long

App is horrible, tech support treats you like you’re an idiot. I’ve had decent experiences with making payments over the phone and generally all their non english dominant employees are the sweetest. However everyone else is horrible and rude. There will be times where the app doesn’t accept your password so not only do you have to uninstall/reinstall repeatedly every-time you want to make a payment over the phone, you have to continuously change your password. I don't know who “helped” me over the phone but you were horrible. I am a very patient person but how could you treat me like an idiot when all I wanted to know was if I had to keep doing this for future payments. Instead of telling me that, you just kept repeating what I clearly said I had already done. If it’s annoying fine whatever, I’ll still do it to pay my bill. But its frustrating when: you went through all the steps, nothing was working, you called to inquire about your situation, and are spoken to like none of that happened and you’re just an idiot that doesn’t know how to reset your password. Is it so hard to reciprocate kindness and patience when it’s being given to you? Or is it just easier to go about your work day being rude? Anyhoo, I don’t know what that lady’s name was but she was rude from the very get go.

Happy to have this card. So happy to have this CareCredit Rewards Card! My family has been using CareCredit for over 5 years now and never had a problem using it, we can always feel secure knowing we can use it anytime on just about anything. I have spoken to customer service on one occasion and was very satisfied with the experience, wait time to speak with a real customer service representative was only about 3 minutes and the rep was fully knowledgeable and courteous, there was no need to ask to speak with anyone else or a supervisor, I consider that in itself a 5 star rating ! I hope this short review helps many others consider getting the CareCredit Rewards card and feel more secure knowing it’s always there when you need it!

Latest update does NOT WORK on older iphones!. This app has been great! - until the latest update. Incidentally, I have an iphone 6. The ios cannot be updated past 12.5 version. This update requires ios 13. When I open the Care Credit app to pay my bill, it displays that I must update to the latest version first. So i proceed to update. It then displays that I must have ios 13 to update and asks if I want to download the older version. I click “download”. Then it does nothing and still will not let me access the Care Credit app without updating it to the newest version first. The app is now useless. Can you fix this so an older iphone user can still use the app? Update: It’s been 2 months since this latest update... This app is still useless if you have an older iphone. Please fix this issue so we, with older phones, can use it again. :(

Security & Affordability for my Pets. I’ve been using Care Credit for several years to afford expensive health care for my pets like dental cleanings, annual exams, medications and unexpected health needs. I have an elderly dog (15), a young dog (4) and a partly feral porch cat. Care Credit offers many long term interest-free payment plans (that give reward points for merchandise and celebrations) that provide options for quality of life-savings to care for my animals I would otherwise be unable to manage reasonable payment plans for my multiple pets healthcare with special perks too. I’ve had a pet health insurance plan for my oldest dog for a decade I’ve actually never been able to use due to limited categories covered and very low coverage amounts while the premiums cost me a fortune for no good reason. I’ve also used my Care Credit card a few times for my own unexpected expensive dental procedures like root canals and crowns. Very grateful for my Care Credit card!

CareCredit is a great card to have.. I’ve been using CareCredit for a while and have been enjoying the rewards that it offers and the wide selections when redeeming my points. The app is also user friendly and easy to use. However, what I love most about the card is the fact that I can use it to pay for my pet vet bills as well as, my medical bills and, large charges are automatically spread out over six months without an approval. I also enjoy the educational videos which are very informative. CareCredit is by far one of the best credit cards I’ve had; besides the Apple Card. I continue to tell friends and family about getting a CareCredit card.

Like Care Credit itself, their App is the best!. This amazingly well designed, user friendly app for Care Credit makes it super easy to follow what you owe, see when promos expire, figure out how to calculate payments, and so on. Everything about Care Credit and Synchrony Bank seems so humane, compassionate, and unusually helpful to the consumer for a financial institution…. Really, how would many of us would ever be able to afford dental work without them?? And now they are available to help out with other needs as well! Thank you, Care Credit/ Synchrony Bank… I wish this were more the norm than the exception— but you are exceptional—and your app, just like you, is helpful and kind to its users!!

Great app terrible company. The app is great but the company itself, Synchrony, is far from great... Paid for years into the customer protection program and once I actually lost my job they denied my application for the protection program...missed only one payment (by a week and after informing them that it will be late) now at that point I understood the lowering of my credit limit but now comes the kicker... back to work... paid of the last couple dollars owed and after a while ask them to raise the limit back up .. their answer? The account was closed without me being notified... now I am supposed to re-apply for a new card because this one can’t be re-opened... I don’t have insurance, this was my insurance so I’m the middle of an pandemic you cancel the lifeline of people to pay for their care.... I’m done... with synchrony and anything they stand for...

To whom it may concern. Thanks to synchrony, offering the CareCredit card with six month interest free I have been able to take care of literally a herd of cats left behind by my deceased wife in 2015. It has been a crucial tool in me managing my single income household has eased and taken away the stress of sudden occurrences by the animals that can’t speak for themselves. I want to give my heartfelt thanks to the people responsible for this program. It has truly helped me get through a very difficult time. The app is easy to use easy to navigate through easy to get the information that you’re looking for in just moments, this is very important because I’m a very busy person as you might imagine.

Life Ruining Greedy Bank, Stay Away. I got this app and card to help my partner pay for dental services. I set up auto pay and forgot about it, thinking this would be a good credit builder, until I checked my credit report and saw this account was over 90 days delinquent. Also, at times I would check the app and it would show “$0.00 due” so I would think my payment was good for the month. They removed auto pay as a feature and didn’t push a notification or email, nothing. So now I’ve got a delinquent credit history because of this, which has caused my other credit lines to get shrunk by as much as NINETY PERCENT 90%. This app and Synchrony have absolutely ruined my credit and has prevented me from finding housing. Stay away. I have begged and pleaded with their customer “service” to help, I have disputed the claims with the credit bureaus, and yet Synchrony insists it’s not their problem. If you remove an auto pay feature, it shouldn’t fall on my head.

Credit for specific charges. I was so pleased to qualify for this card after having to start over from a divorce. My need was for dental work. After my divorce who was a dentist I was very apprehensive about going to the dentist after moving from the state and having an issue I found this CareCredit card and found it Dental and even my pet if an emergency and I couldn’t cash for the bill I don’t carry another credit I do keep a debit card but some of these procedures are for exceeding a monthly paycheck and as I use the card and my business grows I can raise my cash limit do you have a charge on this card it works really well for what I need it for

Not such a good company. First, I am grateful for them letting me have this- It truly has helped me over the years , take care of my dog. Having said that, I paid off this card in the beginning of this month. Before I paid it, through their site, I first change the bank account in the app, before I made the payment. They ignored the new bank account, and charged the old account, so, of course it didn't go through. So they charged me $30 for the mistake THEY made! Didn't even notify me. So I signed into the app, making sure the right account was there ( which it was) and tried again. The payment, of course, worked, but it didn't- they have received the funds, they are holding them back until the make sure they receive the funds. Normally, I could wait, however, my dog is dying. They are not giving me full credit. So I cannot have my furbaby euthanized. There's not enough credit there until they acknowledge that they have it, then acknowledged it again. So, because of a mistake THEY made, I have to see my faithful canine companion suffer, and die, on his own. A friend is stepping forward to help us. In any case, I will be giving up this card and closing my account.

Easy To Use. I enjoy this app for exactly what it is, a quick and easy way to pay your bill and to always have your card "with" you, even if it's not in your wallet. To see a more extensive look at everything, your promotional status, statements, etc., it is best to view it online but honestly, I don't need to look at all of that when I'm just simply trying to make my monthly payment and chip away at the total when I can. This is the only banking/credit card app I have that I can open, verify my identity with my thumbprint and then immediately have access to paying the bill on one single page and being done. This didn't exist 6 years ago when my husband and I had to open a care credit card to pay for an unforeseen surgery for our kitten at the time but I'm sure glad it's available now the second time around with a different kitten, different (expensive!) surgery. Very happy with it, thank you!

Worst card program ever. Got this card for a last minute dental procedure for my daughter I was approved for $4000 which was great the procedure was $3800 and they offer 12 months no interest financing. The parent company is synchrony bank and apparently they reevaluate your credit regularly which is pretty normal many cc companies do so. However this is the first time I’ve experienced this situation where my credit dipped a bit do to using one of my other cards for an emergency car repair unfortunate but it happens synchrony lowered my credit limit from $4000 down to $2500 because of it making the card usage go up over 90% even tho I had never missed a payment and was paying $300 a month to make sure it was paid off in 12 months the minimum payment is $80 so I paid on time and over minimum and they still penalized me by lowering my limit. Which in turn lowered my credit score even further because the card is almost maxed out again because the balance was down to 2400 when they adjusted the credit limit to 2500 from 4000. So beware this was great in an emergency need but I definitely won’t be using it again when it’s paid off in a few months.

Use Cherry Financing Instead. I’ve probably helped hundreds and thousands of patients sign up for Care Credit since they started. I usually tell Patients that I use them myself but as of now I will never use them again. I just got charged a $425+ interest fee for a $5000 transaction that I could have paid cash for but used Care Credit just to build a little more credit. At the 6 month no interest rate, why not? I signed up to pay it off within 6 months but apparently there was a small balance over $100 that somehow got miscalculated. I used the card again for my dog but had to deal with the weird chat and speaking to a very unhelpful agent over the phone. The only good thing is the chat helped me allocate the future payments towards that minor payment that was previously due because otherwise that would have been applied to my new charge. All sounds very sketchy and backwards. Use Cherry Financing. They are fantastic. All patients have been super happy with them.

Watch Your Available Credit. Every 3 months Synchrony Bank who is Care Credits parent company, will do a “review” on your account and your credit limit. Initially approved for $3,000 credit line only to turn around and be told that I know have only a $500 credit limit because of one of the 3 bureaus scores. No other credit card will give you a credit line and then just take it away every 3 months as they review your account. You can always ask for an increase but why would I beg a lender for more money to pay them that money back, plus interest ? I thought you wanted my money … guess I was wrong. That’s why when this is paid off I’m closing this account. I also work for a provider who takes it and no longer push people into getting a card with you.

Payment allocation. Add a payment allocation feature like every other bank, because I’ve had to chat in multiple times and stalk my statements yet they still don’t do it correctly. This isn’t 100% the app’s fault but this lack of a key feature deserves a 1 star. For example, I paid $xxx on July to cover an accidental standard payment that had to be paid off that month. I paid it off but kept accruing interest. I forgot I paid it so I just owned it and paid. I chatted immediately after each payment to have it allocated to certain plans etc. I finally went back in the chat logs and saw I requested this multiple times. So, I almost paid over $100 in interest that I did not actually owe. They’re reversing it now that I’ve called them out on it. Stop making call center reps who are exhausted be the center of this. Just let the consumer make the choice to allocate our own payments!!

So far, so good. Short version: great card to use for emergency vet bills. Easy to use app. I had an emergency vet visit with one of my cats. I had absolutely no way of paying +1,000 for a visit that day. After losing two cats before that to not being able to afford tremendous I was absolutely crushed. I was approved same day, and able to use it ASAP. It really saved me from losing my furry loved one that day. I can’t give to much of a review but I will say the 6 months no interest (as long as you pay before the 6 is over) is great. I’m not sure how it will be if I have to use it again, but absolutely a good option when the only other option is losing your pet.

a life saver!!. I’ve had CareCredit for many years- for hearing aids, dental work and glasses (at Wing Optical) and will use again soon for new hearing aids. With nearing my 80th birthday and living on Social Security I wouldn’t be able to manage these medical expenses- I’d have to do without!! FYI - I also use Synchrony Bank’s CarCredit for car repairs on my 16 year old Toyota. Again, couldn’t manage without these two cards and haven’t paid a penny interest on anything since I set up each account for online automatic payments. (Maybe I’ll make it to 100 with the help of these two cards!) THX SYNCHRONY BANK! Another FYI- my daughter uses her Care Credit to pay vet bills for her 4 elderly dogs.

Pay and a whole lot more. If I get a credit card I make sure they have an app. The care credit app does the normal and a lot of other things. I can check my balance owed and available credit anytime of the day or week. It’s super easy to make payment. There are several places that go along with the 6 months no interest if u pay it off In time. The app breaks down each amount and how long left on the 6 mons time frame. The app also lists all places that take the card. You can search “vet” and it wail bring up all the vets that accept and their location. It does a whole lot of other things but these are the ones I love the most. This post would be way too long if I listed them all. Download it. I won’t be sorry. It will make ur life so much easier!!

Works great. I’ve been using it for about a year and like that I can see what promotional purchases I’ve done and when they expire. I do recommend when paying off a balance do it at least a day before the expiration date. I had a problem where I paid it on the day the promotional balance was due and they added a late charge. Luckily I caught it on that day and had it cleared up with them. A nice feature of the app is that the card is in there in case you ever forget it or lose it. You can also pay a doctor if they offer the option to bill you. All you do is look up your doctor and follow the prompts to pay them.

Run Away. I don’t have dental insurance and my dentist office suggested using this. Forty, the app is difficult to use. Won’t let me set up an account and after the third try, I gave up and will log in at the website Second, I made my first payment four days after I was approved. Two weeks later, there was another bill so I paid that too. I figured the next bill we’ve in a month. I checked my balance and guess what? There was another bill due in four days. No notification was sent. So I paid that three days ago. I’m almost afraid to look again. I also paid a little more than their balance on the bill and now I have to pay the higher amount. If I pay more on the next bill, that will be what I have to pay for the rest of the loan. Note that I am paying off in 12 months to avoid interest. They have very high interest rates and if you are late, you will pay a fee. If you choose the no interest plan, you will pay interest on the entire loan if it is not aid on time. I plan to pay off my 12 month loan in 10 months or earlier because I don’t trust this organization at all.

Beware. This company will give you credit BUT as you pay it off, if you do NOT use the open balance and run it back up they will REMOVE IT making it appear that you were undeserving of that amount of credit!!! This happened to me TWICE so far and I cringe to think how many more it will happen before it’s paid off! I will never use them again no matter what the consequences. I have worked very very hard to rebuild my credit and they took 23 points. The first time that this company did that and I lost 32 again yesterday for the same reason! I called care credit and the customer service rep told me that’s their policy. Use it or loose it!!!!! BE VERY CAREFUL! By the way I DID report all of the to the credit bureau and they made a remark. Then Care Credit disputed that even though I have Proof of the original loan amount! It was removed and down went my score again. I think it’s a scam to ensure you MUST use them in the future.

Great Extra Emergency Card. I just read another reviewer who used the Care Credit Card for their FurBaby. When I got my card it was for my set of hearing aids - very handy not to have to put this large purchase on a card where I would either pay a lot of interest every month or have to pay it off immediately. I have plenty of time to pay it off. I did check to see what amount I needed to pay each month in order for the payments to be enough to equal the entire amount at the end of the appointed time. Then MY FurBaby, a rescued kitty, had medical issues when I adopted him. Quite a few unfortunately. So I used the card for those also and have paid off both of these amounts before the original due date. My conclusion is that it never hurts to have a spare card in case of emergencies.

Best App For Making Payments. From using several apps to make payments.. this has been the most convenient and easiest to use by far. Everything about this app just makes sense. When you first open the app it shows you exactly how much is left for your payment and when your next payment is due. It’s very simple to navigate, and shows you all your basic payment info. It’s also very easy to customize how much you would like to pay to your bill if you wish to pay extra. I do wish you could set up automatic payments but that is ok. At least I was able to set up reminders on my phone to alert me when a payment is approaching.

They Don’t Function and They Don’t Care. Okay 1) when I wanted information about cars credit the phone had no operators and the website was confusing, distracting and wanted you to sign up before saying anything. At my dentist they had me sign the papers before I saw 26.6% interest rate. Went to make my payment and the website said “we can’t process you st this time.” The phone said (first thing) you can speak to an operator for $10.” After I put in my checking account info it said “you bill is proces-“ and the call dropped. It is supposed to notify me about EVERY TRANSACTION and contact. No call no text no email. Oh and when they free app got done collecting my charge card info it said, “that transaction is approved” but I wasn’t making any transaction and they don’t accept payment by credit. The day after I signed up for Care Credit my credit score went down 14 points because I was stupid enough to sign up for this rip off.

I think care credit is absolutely amazing especially if you’re in a bind.. I don’t know why everybody is saying oh and the finances so expensive if you pay your balance then there’s no finance charges. End of story I mean if that’s the only complete people have then my god that’s the least of their worries. Anyhow I thank God for CareCredit. I just started using it I love it I just made my payment I paid the balance I also asked for an increase they asked me how much I wanted and then boom gave it to me I am extraordinarily happy I just hope that they will make my Increase higher, maybe I should’ve asked for higher but I wasn’t sure how that worked. I am working towards getting a surgery done and I would love to have a Knouff of the CareCredit to do it which is around $7000 right now I have $2500. eventually I’m sure I’ll get it, as long as I keep making my payments and keep it at 100% I should be OK. Makes life easy. This app makes it so much easier for me to keep my payments on time And make the payment when it is convenient for ME. I can make a payment without waiting on hold for someone or hoping the mail got there or waiting for internet. I love knowing I can make that payment close to the date it is due if I have forgotten or will not have the money in my account in time for other methods to get it there on time. It literally takes me seconds to make a payment and I get confirmation and a record right to my email as well as a text for reminders. In a busy life this is a huge help in keeping my credit going up up up. I also can Acess my balance and available amount anytime I need to. . This makes it super convenient during emergency situations. I use it for my puppy with a congenital issue that tends to be u predictable. It’s been an absolute life saver in these times when we don’t expect an emergency visit to her specialist! Thank you Care Credit for giving me this opportunity to better my credit while providing healthy care for my family INCLUDING my fur family! ❤️

Can’t pay promo’s. I use this app solely for our payments and any info I may need in terms of this account. I just find it easier than logging into the full site online. It’s easy to use and at the touch of a finger I can check the account. It also shows me what promotions I have that are expiring soon. If I don’t pay the balance off it reminds me interest will be added on. That’s the one thing I don’t like about this app. It shows me the promo balance due but doesn’t seem to allow payment. I have to go to the full site for that. Strange since we can make regular payments just fine. If they change that I’ll adjust my rating score accordingly.

Convenient and quick. I understand for some that it may not be very easy to pay off a large amount within 6months, but having the option to pay off in 6months with 0% interest is such a convenience for me. I wanted something done and I really didn’t want to wait so my plan was to save up and pay cash in 6months time anyway, so the fact that I was able to get what I want and pay it off in 6months with 0% interest really just made this very exciting for me! So thank you CareCredit! The app is very user friendly and got the approval response in minutes. Anyways I love it. I like CareCredit. but the app is just terrible.. I have had to reset password 20 times or more.. with a password that works on desktop, but then not mobile, but the worst is the content of the messages it pushes out to you.. you see red number, and since its how you pay your bill.. but no, its stupid informational mails pushing discounts for boob job/botox discount if your pet gets work too.. but there is no way to turn off the marketing mails, and keep the app… and dog sweater financing offers arent even in your desktop account, just the app.. so if you can handle a new password everytime you log in, and push notices of how to finance diamond implants in yur lapdogs teeth, install .. otherwise, forego the convenience and just use the credit card

Wonderful app. I was in IMMESE pain, my tooth was broken and I couldn’t eat or sleep and didn’t have the money to get it fixed. This app not only approved me for my surgery to get the tooth removed but I was able to pay for almost all the dental work I needed. No interest, easy monthly payments. I genuinely recommend this app to my friends or anyone who needs work done. It’s not like other apps that try and take advantage of those in pain by charging crazy interest fees for medical work, they just generally want you to feel better. I didn’t have to make my first payment until after my tooth surgery.

So far, so good. Short version: great card to use for emergency vet bills. Easy to use app. I had an emergency vet visit with one of my cats. I had absolutely no way of paying +1,000 for a visit that day. After losing two cats before that to not being able to afford tremendous I was absolutely crushed. I was approved same day, and able to use it ASAP. It really saved me from losing my furry loved one that day. I can’t give to much of a review but I will say the 6 months no interest (as long as you pay before the 6 is over) is great. Worst credit card to have. This past week went to my veterinarian to take my dog had a ear infection when I was already about to pay my car got declined check my app and it was saying that my card was closed out called this morning with the representative. They stated that they closed out my account due to other credit cards very high usage, which was false and I even let them know about it and I’m always paying on time. Haven’t use my car for a while because my animals has not been sick and I need it need to be taken to the veterinarian… business people these guys are closing without letting their customers know advance no notice or any email/call/mailed in paper advisory.. very disappointed with this company..

Helped me get the care needed for my pug. With credit care I was able to get X-rays done on my pug and found out he had a large cancerous mass in his chest. I was able to keep him comfortable till he was ready to pass on. Then I was able to afford private cremation. To get that proof that he was sick and there was nothing more I could do. It solidified in my mind and gave me time for he and I to say goodbye for now! Miss my little guy every day even though it’s been almost 3 months. It payed as well the prescriptions given by vet but not through pharmacy.

SO easy to use!!. I love this app! One of the easiest financial apps to navigate - I wish more could be this easy! I love how the app allows you to view the breakdown of your promotional purchases, I just wish there was an easier way to make individual payments to each of your promotional accounts if you want to pay off one before another. So far as I know, you still have to call in to request that is how you want your payment to be directed. I also appreciate the ability to access all of your other Synchrony accounts directly from inside the app.

CareCredit Card. I’ve not had any issues so far with this app! I have been using it now for a few months. I had Lasik done on both of my eyes. Used this card to put half of the cost on. I have 0 interest as long as the total is paid within 12 months. I make a payment at least twice a month (by my choice). I haven’t had any problem with making my payment or my extra payment. There is also a place on the app to click if I’d like to set up the payment date to another day. Which I used this feature when I set up my account initially. It was quick and easy! I’m also able to login on the app and check my balance at any given time if I choose to. I’ve never had to call customer service, thank goodness! So therefore, I can’t comment on how the CreditCare is in that area. *The only area I wish was better. Was the quickness they report to the credit reporting places.

Great app. Last year I owed a lot of money to vet bills due to my cat having surgery. All I can say is, I wish I had this card sooner. This was my first credit card and I swore by never using one, but this one is well worth it. Especially if you need a little extra time paying back medical expenses or vet bills. It doesn’t impact your credit score when it’s not being used since it’s for healthcare so that’s a plus. All I can say is, if you’re thinking of getting this… it’s well worth it. Very easy to use too.

Simple and easy to use!. I set my account for automatic payments because I hate keeping track of due dates for all the bills we have. However, on occasion I will make additional payments or check my balances so this app is perfect. I haven’t had any issue with this app. This app is easy to navigate and simple enough use to to get the job done. I use to log on my account with my computer, but it’s so inconvenient because I’m not always in front of my computer. This app makes keeping track of my account so much easier regardless of where I am. Highly recommend it.

Helped me. So I got this on a whim because my kids mom ran over our kitten. Didn’t know if I was gonna have to take him to the vet. Fixing a broken leg is anywhere from a few hundred to a few thousand. Well we didn’t and I forgot all about it. It showed up with a $2500 credit amount. I used it to pay for my eye exam and glasses. So very awesome. Downside. I live in south central Kentucky near a decent sized city but not a metropolitan area. Not a lot of options for certain places to use it. They have to be partnered with businesses. It’s not like a normal credit card. I thought it would be like a FSA card where anything medical related would work, but I dice. So you have to go in the app to find businesses that are approved. Still highly recommend

Stopped support for iOS 14.. This is the first and only app I have had drop support of iOS 14. Ridiculous that your app of all things is the one trying to force me into updating. For a freaking payment app. There is zero reason for your app to not support iOS 13 or 14. What’s the deal? Do you have an agreement with Apple to force updates so people need to buy new phones? Absolutely bananas considering I’m using your service because I didn’t have the money to pay outright for a medical bill. Think I have money for a new phone? Or is it just that you’re to cheap to pay to test updates on older iOS? Anyway I’m deleting your app and will make my payments on your regular website from now on. I’ll be so glad to pay off what I owe and never use your services again.

Only one complaint (Message Center). The app itself is fine. It serves its purpose well. I just don’t like that I can’t disable the Message Center. There are no in-app options to stop notifying me about messages, which are unwanted reading material. So the only way to turn off the notifications would be to do so in my phone’s settings, and I don’t want to do that because I can’t miss any important notifications, like fraudulent activity or if a payment is late, for example. I need THOSE notifications. I don’t want the notifications for the “Message Center.”

Reliable & just good enough. Practical backup card for pet care & dental when times are challenging financially. APR could be more customer friendly. Reps could be more mindful as well. They told my ex, whom I let use the card for dental work if he made the payments: “don’t worry, just take care of yourself & get better” after he had injured himself at work & couldn’t make payments. Subsequently, he did not pay, thinking Care Credit was OK with that. A bit naive. However, a clearer explanation of the risks involved would have prevented my going into the black, thus ruining my credit score for 7 years.

Good to pay your card bill but.... This app is wonderful for viewing and paying your credit card bill, terrible for paying doctors bills online. I just found out that a bill that I paid last month to my dentist’s office wasn’t received even though it showed up on my card and statement. Now my dentist office has to call Care Credit and find out where their payment is. Needless to say, I won’t be using the app to pay doctor/dentist bills anymore, I’ll be paying at the office. My advice, use the app to check your balance, present your card, or make a payment on you card. Don’t use it to make a payment to your doctor.

Enabled me to get my dog an emergency appt. The care credit app was so fast and easy and it allowed me to use the account before I received my card for an emergency vet visit. It gave me the ability to get my dog care when I couldn’t come up with the money and the fact that it gave me an immediate approval was a big plus, I have been recommending this service to a lot of my pet owner friends. The app is very easy to navigate and lets me pay my bill securely and on the day it is due. I also found out there are other medical services I can use this for. 5 stars all around

Great!. I’m so thankful for CareCredit! My cat needed emergency surgery and I didn’t have the funds. I have decent credit so I got approved for more than I needed. They sent me my card information right away so I didn’t have to wait to get my card in the mail to use it. Just make sure you pay back what you use within a year so there won’t be any interest. Minimum payment might not be enough to cover it. Just do the math and figure out what you need to pay to have it paid off within a year.

Lousy Creditor & Accounting. CareCredit sent me a MasterCard replacement to my older CareCredit card, and it does NOT work. My dentist tried to add an amount to my account for payment, and it was declined. In checking my CareCredit app, my old card number is still listed, and has not been updated. CareCredit blames the declined input on my dentist’s terminal, but it worked just fine when they submitted a previous balance for payment. I have sufficient credit balance to permit this new amount to be added. Also, I’ve been give conflicting guidance on promotional offers for multiple authorized billings. I plan to pay-off my current balance, and then, cancel my CareCredit account - poor service, poor accounting, and poor customer service. Follow-up - app doesn’t work at all

What a great idea!!!!. This care credit allows the middle class or maybe lower class to have the ability to get necessary things that we all need to become a reality. You get a year to pay off a purchase that you may not be able to afford in a normal transaction. This card allows dental work, necessary items, and even take care of our fur babies. I don’t know what I would do without it. If you haven’t applied, what do you have to lose? It gives you a YEAR to pay it off with no interest!

Happy customer. So far, this app has been awesome. Very user friendly. I like that you can pull up your card on the screen. I don’t always have my cards with me but you know I always have my phone. As for Care Credit, I cant thank them enough for their service. I have, “less than perfect”, credit. When my dog got extremely sick and needed to be hospitalized, Care Credit gave me the credit I needed to have my girl taken care of immediately. I paid off the balance within 6 months and never paid interest. It was the exact help I needed at the right time.

Honestly yes.. Even if your credit is bad, you can apply for this and if you pay it off in 6 months it’s interest free. Decided to get this instead of out of pocket for my dogs neuter and gastro surgery and it’s easy peasy. Plus it’s not specific. Ask if they take care credit and if they do as long as it’s within your credit limit you can get what you need done without selling a kidney in the same visit. The App is easy to use and understand. Can even find an accepting business for your needs on the app!

Saved our Dog’s Quality of Life. Our lab suffered a torn CCL (dog version of ACL) shortly after my newlywed wife and I returned from our honeymoon. We weren’t in a financial position to pay right away and our primary credit card’s interest rate is too high to make that a feasible option. Our provider recommended care credit as an option and made sure to let us know to pay off the balance in full by the due date and there would be no interest. Amazing option and approved in minutes and preventing a delay in her treatment. Just MAKE SURE TO PAY IT OFF BEFORE THE PROMOTIONAL PERIOD ENDS and it works perfect!

SHADY, beware:. I never write reviews but this creditor has earned the is one. (Read all one star reviews as well) I have 6 different credit cards with Synchrony, the bank that loans to Care Credit. In total I have a 720+ average Experian credit score with about 17 credit cards. I take care of my credit and manage my spendings well. Out of all my providers, Synchrony is the only bank that practices shady pay offs. The promotional balances accumulated on Care Credit DO NOT get paid off last. Instead, when making payments through the mobile app your payment gets split between your non promotional balances (the ones getting charged interest) and the promotional balances. Meaning that instead of paying off the balances that are charging you interest first, your payments partially go towards the promotional balances that don’t accumulate interest so you’ll KEEP paying interest in the long run. This is a very shady way Synchrony can keep collecting interests. Out of my 11 other credit lenders, Synchrony is the ONLY one who practices this method. Instead, you have to call to allocate the payments correctly and even then the majority of customer service reps seemed to be trained to make your requests as difficult as possible. They expect you to pay through the app and not make the attempt to pay off your interest charges first. Their customer service is a joke, > Synchrony, please rename your department “Customer Hindrance” so as to accurately describe the experience one gets when calling. Once I’ve paid off all my balances on my Synchrony credit cards, I will be canceling them all and never doing business with them again. I suggest everyone else do the same. Please, look up information on how to learn to remove “closed” credit cards from your credit score in order for it not to negatively affect your credit score. It’s fairly easy and worth it. NOT RECOMMENDED.

Predatory practices.. They want your direct banking data; account and routing numbers. I called their help center. I needed a phone number to put on my payment check per my bank. From 5:45 to 6:15am they had no answer. Finally after 11 requests they said there was no number I could put on the check. So I called the help line. Another twenty minutes trying to get a phone number to put on the check. Dodging, distracting, questioning why needed it. Finally, after 20 minutes they give a number. They demand direct access to your bank but they won’t give a phone number bc they want access to your bank account. Predatory practices. Then it took another twenty minutes to close the account.

Terrible App. Still not sure about Care Credit/Synchrony as a company- they seem to be fine- but this app experience has been a nightmare. It automatically pulled a 10 year old (former) business landline phone from the credit bureau to use as my security retrieval number, as opposed to the cellphone number I used to set up the account. I changed it with the credit bureau, changed it over the phone with Care Credit, and while it appeared to have been rectified, a few hours later (when I actually went to use the digital card), it wouldn’t even load my information despite showing the new phone number. Infuriating, frustrating, hours of phone calls. Sloppy, sloppy app offering

Watch Your Available Credit. Every 3 months Synchrony Bank who is Care Credits parent company, will do a “review” on your account and your credit limit. Initially approved for $3,000 credit line only to turn around and be told that I know have only a $500 credit limit because of one of the 3 bureaus scores. No other credit card will give you a credit line and then just take it away every 3 months as they review your account. You can always ask for an increase but why would I beg a lender for more money to pay them that money back, plus interest ? I thought you wanted my money … guess I was wrong. That’s why when this is paid off I’m closing this account. I also work for a provider who takes it and no longer push people into getting a card with you.

Highly Decent. I'm a CareCredit lover in general. Credit cards are the devil and all that but CareCred has saved me some serious financial hassle getting dental work done on both me and my cat. The fact that they allow you to use it for veterinary work has seriously improved the quality of my life and my pet's life. So the app is great as well, it makes it so easy to deal with all this. The one complaint I have is that the balance showing on the app doesn't update quickly, especially if you pay on a Friday or weekend, so sometimes it leaves money 'floating' out there in cyberspace, which is an incredibly uncomfortable sensation especially if it's a lump payment. I've never had serious issues though kudos to CareCred.

1 day late because of a death in the family. I was 1 day late paying my bill that I’ve always paid more on than the minimum amount and double on the day I was late because my Mother in law passed away the night before and had been in the ICU for a month before that and they cut my line of credit by over 1/2 of what I was originally given and with No advanced notifications. Not to mention this also hurt my credit and dropped it a few points for doing this. I am in the medical field working for a hospital and I will be using word of mouth to co worker’s and patient’s not to even bother with this company. What a joke I will be paying off the balance and getting rid of this crap. Just be careful if anyone wants to try these people and the product.

Great, user friendly app. I get why people are complaining about healthcare issues and high costs of medical services, as our medical system is insane and ridiculously expensive. However all that has nothing to do with the functionality of the app. The app itself is excellent, easy to use, provides you with quick way to see all your purchases, easy way to schedule payment, searchable database of service providers that accept the card, and also ways to contact customer service. So all in all 5 star app.

App Is Awesome!. This app is very simple and easy to use. Having this makes tracking and making payments much easier. I also like that I can use my virtual card anywhere that takes Care Credit. I change wallets a lot and forget my actual card all the time. This app has saved me so much time. This is my third time paying off a large purchase with Care Credit with no issues and absolutely no interest! If you have a payment plan and beat the deadline you won’t have issues. They even increased my credit limit which in turn raised my credit score!

Best App for Healthcare Financing. This was my first experience with a credit card as a fresh graduate from university. I have found this to be truly helpful in allowing me to make payments on time and telling me exactly how much I need to pay back (the total), how much has been paid, and what the minimum amount due is for each monthly payment in my payment plan. I rated this a five star app for the above reasons! Way to go to the app developers of CareCredit. It may just be the best credit card app on the internet! I am so glad I downloaded this :)

A Must Have. I have used this card almost exclusively for pet related stuff and sometimes for medication. It is such a life save when you don’t have pet insurance. My animals are almost always healthy but everyonce in a while- someone gets bitten by a random critter- or whacks their furry but on a nail somehow. The app makes it so easy to see my limit- what I owe and have left to spend- payments are super easy with the app and you can even use the app in place of your physical card if you happen to leave it at home or misplace it! Anyway- I love it.

For months and months. I have gotten the same error message for months and months when trying to access my accounts via the mobile app. Account servicing error. Yet when it redirects me to the website I am able to access the accounts fine and do normal things such as submit payment or review current balance. I’m not sure why this error message is persisting even though I have tried several times over to delete and redownload the app and reset all log in information. Thought the mobile apps were meant to increase accessibility but this has not been the case between this app and another I recently reviewed.

A blessing. CareCredit is a blessing.. I mean obviously my credit is good for me to be able to get the card and the amount I got.. but I helped me to be able to get my teeth fixed &get the veneers I needed.. it also helped me be able to pay for my cat , he’s old and had to get all his teeth out & they found a small mass inside of his mouth(thank god it came back benign).. I wouldn’t of been able to get the surgery with out the credit card.. thank you for being an option for us poor folk

Convenient, but annoying. On the occasions where I can use my Care Credit card, this app does everything that it needs to do--allow me to make payments in an app instead of a web browser. It even makes my card info available so that I don't have the carry the physical card with me, which is great. What's annoying and disappointing is that the app regularly sends me spammy promotional messages through the Message Center even though I have promotions turned OFF in my app settings, and have opted out of promotional emails (for what it's worth). Would love to see this fixed, clearly there are a lot of reasons to love this app.

Applying saved my dog.. Applying and being pre approved with a temporary card made a life or death situation a bit easier. Having this card as a cushion saved our 10 month old German shepherd puppy. We live pay check to pay check like most families do and I was recently let go from our second income when our pup decided to try to jump the fence to get to us. She impaled herself in the stomach near her bladder. Having this to pay for her vet visit was the only way we could afford the surgery and save her life. Thank you for coming up with this card and app to make life easier when crazy circumstances come up.

Great app/provider. I broke my glasses and was in urgent need of a pair. I was a little over extended for the month and wasn’t quite sure how I was going to afford them. I began researching and came across care credit. It’s been awesome. It allowed me to get both my contacts and glasses ordered. With the app displaying card info the info I need was available to me before the physical card arrived in the mail. They allowed 7 months on my purchase to pay in full and won’t accrue any interest. I’ve since realized it be used for all kinds of things. Including taking my cat to the vet. Thanks CareCredit!

Good App!. Not too difficult to get used to, the one thing I wish was visible, or explained would be how automatic payments were divvied up between the accounts, letting you know which of your accounts, your money was being paid towards in advance or through notifications since some which have expiration dates to not pay interest for Promotional zero interest charges are important, but not sure how possible that is with how many different places you can use this so not complaining, just would be nice

Can’t pay promo’s. I use this app solely for our payments and any info I may need in terms of this account. I just find it easier than logging into the full site online. It’s easy to use and at the touch of a finger I can check the account. It also shows me what promotions I have that are expiring soon. If I don’t pay the balance off it reminds me interest will be added on. That’s the one thing I don’t like about this app. It shows me the promo balance due but doesn’t seem to allow payment. I have to go to the full site for that. Strange since we can make regular payments just fine. If they change that I’ll adjust my rating score accordingly.

Great service. This app and credit line has given me peace of mind and assistance for my fur babies in a really hard time. They approved me very quickly for a line of credit to bring the babies to the vet. They weren’t like most credit lenders immediately asking for the first payment with insane interest. I was able to pay my first payment a few weeks after my initial use giving me time to get back on my feet. They also give you a virtual card to use before the hard copy comes in the mail.

So easy. I have nothing but great things to say about this card and the app. Makes everything so easy, and after paying off some of my balance, I got a cli that has made a major boost in my credit. Also, if you pay it off before your promotion ends then there is no interest. If its under the min 200 then you should just pay that or wait. Emergencies cost most than 200 so don’t try to play that card. I’m planning to have a surgery done and I’m can’t wait. Care credit makes this all possible.

Love it!. I love Care Credit. I’ve been able to fund dental work for both me and my husband, as well as getting skin removal surgery after weight loss that I never could have funded without this company. They offer a decent amount of time to pay it off, I usually accept the 18 month interest free option, as long as the institution I’m dealing with accepts that plan. Other credit companies only give you 6 months before charging 25-30%, and that’s just not affordable to me. If you’re looking to fund surgery or cosmetics/dental work, CC is the way to go!

A satisfied customer. I have never heard of this loan until my doctor from North Carolina mentioned to this to help my health reach to a successful goal. Using their online app is easy and quick to use, especially when you have a busy lifestyle. They are also affordable on their monthly payments too. If you can’t pay the amount that is due, they will work with you and allow you to pay what you can pay until you are all caught up. I highly recommend this loan program to help enhance your health/wellbeing.

what’s up with face ID??. this app is okay, but my only complaint & reason for writing this is that i don’t understand why FaceID struggles with this app like no other. FaceID has to get triggered/used anywhere from 3 to 6 times before it actually fills in my password, and if i hit anything but “go” once the password fills in (because it doesn’t do this automatically with FaceID like LITERALLY EVERY OTHER APP ON EARTH DOES), you have to trigger FaceID 3+ more times again. it’s insane. why?????? this issue was present when i had an iphone X and it’s still there with my 12 pro. inexcusable.

We Love Care Credit. When our sweet 14 yr. old lab mix wasn’t doing well & we had to take him to the animal hospital near us, he needed specialized care & scans. Our fur boy had to end up being sent to cross the rainbow bridge due to a cancerous mass & he was suffering. Thank goodness for Care Credit. It was easy to apply while we were waiting. We were approved in less than 60 seconds. They were a miracle in helping us finance taking care of the final arrangements for our fur baby to be put to rest. We would recommend Care Credit to everyone!

Upgrade process. I have an older phone iPhone 7+ and according to specifications, it should have no problem upgrading to your App, unfortunately is still blocking without explanation. What it does its blocking your customer's ability to pay their debt. Some older people do not change their expensive phones for many reasons , some because they are very expensive second they do not want to lose all their pictures on the phone and they do not want to learn manuals on all new phones. You are discriminating against Seniors with your newer advances. I understand security upgrades but you should make sure all your customers are able to do so. Not everyone wants to get to a 5G upgrade which we know is a health hazard.

Care Credit. Care Credit was helpful in paying for an unexpected medical expense not covered by insurance. Their minimum payment was way below what I needed to pay in order to pay off my bill before the end of the 0% interest rate expired. So watch this carefully. I simply took my entire bill divided by number of months before end of “grace” period and paid that monthly. If you don’t pay off before the end of the 0% introductory rate they will ding you with a high interest rate, but if you use this wisely it is a great tool.

Vultures. Absolutely one of the worst credit companies you can work with. The app was horrendous for the longest time and it seems like it finally got fixed. This company is the definition of 1 foot forward 2 steps back. Their “card security” charge was not disclosed when I initially opened my account. Couldn’t figure out why I was making payments and not spending on it yet my account balance hardly seemed to move. Unfortunately I opened this account when I was still naive to credit development. What makes it worse is this is a credit line FOR HEALTH. Was originally opened for putting my dog down, then eyeglasses and other vet bills. Absolutely sickening business practices preying on people in their time of need. No other credit company that I have includes a card security fee. But hey, at least they used that money to fix their app 👍
