Best iPhone camera app. I've used other camera apps with similar features, but Top Cam beats them all. The speed of getting to the most important adjustments means I spend less time mucking with the tool and miss fewer shots. The only things missing are explicit aperture control and shutter speed.

Very impressed!. I don't normally write reviews for apps, but I was too impressed with this one not to. I absolutely love this camera! Very high quality pictures and videos.

Good app but... fix crashe bugs. When i use the slow shutter or night mode, after shooting app was crashing and doesn’t save my photo

A fantastic camera ***** the best. I have always used top Camera but the new Top Camera 2 blows the original away. It has so many features and I love the way I can easily edit my photos. Highly recommend this app! So many options to make the perfect photo Love the square option and it's just keeps getting better. My main camera app Also love the fact that the developer updates the app !

Could not ask for more.. I love this app. I've tried several camera apps and this one is my favorite. The shot quality is is the best. I like that filters have a an option to adjust strength, because sometimes you only want only a little bit of post processing.

DO NOT BUY THIS APP! PLEASE!. The app is terrible and the app won't sync to photos at all and is a complete waste of space. I took a picture and I got a response saying "please wait" and nothing happened. I went to photos and saw nothing. The developers of this app CLEARLY don't care about any of the glitches or bugs I. Their product either because theres barely been an update. The app is terrible and won't do its job. I'm warning you do NOT buy it. I waisted so much cash and got ripped off.

Excellent Quality. I don't write a lot of reviews but I had to take a moment to give some feedback! Love the Quality pic's & video I have captured using this software. It's now my main camera and I have stored on all my apple devices. Awesome...

My thoughts. I like the quality of this app. It really does take a better quality image compared to the camera that the iPhone 6 comes with. I will continue to enjoy and use this app as my only camera.

Almost perfect. I would really like to see a "night lapse" mode and more intervals in the time lapse setting!

Not as advertised. I bought this app because I thought I could take multiple lower resolution photos without stopping like Top Camera Lite but I decided to upgrade to the new version so I can get something like 1008x756 resolution setting but nope. $5 bucks in the hole later doesn't have the resolution options and the camera also runs like duck sauce.

Awesome. So far, this is the best app for the camera that I have used. I wish you are able to crop the photo but regardless of that feature, it does everything else A digital camera can offer.

Great video editor. I have been using Top Camera 2 for quite some time and love it. Recently there was an iOS update and I saved an edited video and it had a green screen. I contacted their support and they found the problem and had an update as fast as the Apple Store could make it available. Great customer support!

Needs update. The hands down best photo editing app. However it needs to be updated. Last update was two years ago and the app now crashes when editing any video or photo.

Eats up my iPad Memory (more than default Photos app). I like the functionality of this app a lot, especially how HDR pictures require clicking only once, rather than multiple times as in Top Camera (1). But honestly, I much preferred the first app, except for how the first one stored the pictures in the app. But now I keep seeing the size of this app grow, despite that it doesn't save the pictures (?)...before I deleted it just now, it had grown larger than the iPad's default Photos app. This is out of control. I love this app, but this doesn't sit right with me. I'm going to go back to the first app for a while, do a little research, and decide what application software to use from there.

Causes phone to shut down. Happened twice already, both cases were exactly the same - I was in a slow shutter mode (the main reason I got this app) and my battery was above 20%. After taking a couple of pictures my phone shut down saying my battery was dead! I was not able to use my phone at all until I plugged it in. Some serious bug going on.

Old version worked better. Program crashes when using night exposure or other long exposure settings. IPhone 7. Several if the latest OS versions.

Surprised. This is a really good camera app you will be really happy with the ease of use and quality of pictures also the abundance of features is also very nice.

Shuts down constantly. I love the functionality of this app. I photograph jewelry and the photos are great but when I go to save the photo it shuts down!!!! VERY FRUSTRATING!!

Nice feature set for a price. I really like multiple modes in the app, especially the slow shutter mode. For the price, there are a lot of features in the app. Also, the layout of the controls is nice and after some time feel intuitive. Yet, after certain update the "slow shutter" mode just stopped working. I wrote to the support several times across several months. Finally, the fix came quickly one the dev acknowledged the bug. I can understand that they were busy with some other app, but yet that part of the experience is why I'm not giving 5* to Top Camera.

Support???. I haven’t gotten to delve into this app as I can find no instructions or privacy info at the developer site. It wants access to Photos, Camera and Microphone, and I can find no information on what this app is retaining or transmitting. Looks good but I deleted it from my phone until I can get clarity on what this app is doing.

Crashes after slow shutter. My favorite photo app for slow shutter but now it crashes before it saves the photo. Please fix.

Just ok. Not the best for HDR photography No control for tone mapping (balance, enhancer and compressor)

Not bad overall. I like the set up overall and the slider on the side to adjust the focus, exposer(would prefer this to be ISO) and zoom(would prefer this to be shutter). But the sliders work well over all. I like that you can switch between the setting your currently using and whatever you used last, that is hand.

Great app! Simple but expert manual control. This is my go to photo app. For a long time. It's loaded with features but it's also as simple as you want it to be. It's all available from the pic view but nothing blocks the view so you can manually adjust what you choose and stay on your subject. The features are all useful! Nothing exotic, high tech, or involved to use - they're included but are disguised into easy to use touch options for expert control. Just mess with stuff and see how it effects the image before you shoot. Love the exposure and focus lock. That's a fave feature from DSLRs. And absolutely love the Zoom. Thank you for creating and maintaining such a great app for so long!

Are you kidding me?!. I just spent an hour working filming, and it didn't save. There wasn't even a warning, like 'please stop filming after however long, or your video may not save.' Arg! 😡😡😡

Almost perfect.... Then a Huge letdown. I am very happy with the quality and clarity of the photos and video. The only reason I give it 5 stars is because I've lost many moments because the pictures or videos are not saving. The app picks and chooses when it wants to act funny. No longer a reliable app 😢

"Upgrade"?. What has happened to the concept of an upgrade IMPROVING a product? First Apple does it by throwing away the awesome program, Aperture, in favor of a watered down and frankly lame photo editing tool, Photos, and now Top Camera, a powerful photo app with total control given to the photographer, is "upgraded" in Top Camera 2" and all the benefits of the original app are removed. In their place are generic filters available in every other mediocre photo app on the market and no ability to control them beyond a "percentage" selector, like in the original. Also, no manual HDR in the new app. Sorry but that is essential for anyone wanting to do creative HDR work on an iPhone. I have done some amazing HDR work with Top Camera that your new app simply cannot accomplish. I have no interest in having someone else tell me how my photos should look by giving me only preset photo filters and automatic HDR that does a decent job balancing light but totally eliminates creative control from the user.

HDR poor. Bring back the old version of HDR found in the original Top Camera. The old version was much more polished. Luckily I still have an iPhone 5 with the original version. The original top camera was polished. The ability to slightly move the camera while in HDR mode and creating these slightly offset images was amazing. Seeing metadata, and a bunch of other functionality made it the best camera app around. I should have never upgraded my iPad to 11. When I did, is when the HDR mode for the original version stopped working. It crashes now every time when it tries to merge the pictures. Now with Top Camera 2, the HDR mode just doesn’t look the same, in fact I’d say it makes everything look dreary. The rest of the app looks no different then any other camera app these days. Please bring back the original version. It was a classic.

Fantastic app...!. Just began using this app and I am beyond impressed so far! A superb app that's easy to use - and with many great shooting and editing options. Followed the app recommendation by ComboApps and I'm so glad I did. Bravo!

Use this all the time!. I love almost everything about this app especially the editing choices and it's my first choice when I take photos. I would like 2 improvements. 1. During editing I often need to see the whole photo and right now only 2/3rds is shown and 2. I have to go to another app to crop. Will cropping be added soon? Hope so! Then I would use no other apps to edit!

A bug, please fix it!. I really love this app, so it saddens me, that when I either choose "video" or "slow motion" the screen just freezes. Yes, I can change back to photo, or some other camera, but I can't film videos.. :'( I hope that you will fix this bug somehow, I've already tried deleting the app and redowloading. Nothing really works for me, I simply can't film. Please fix this bug!!

Needs Work. I tryed using the various features of this app and the would crash... 3 times in a row when using slow shutter, night mode and just trying to take a picture, got a long way to go. I will update when I see these issues are fixed, also it would be cool if you could take TIFF pictures like Procam or the Moment App

Nice app. Very powerful, I'm using it mainly for HDR and filters.

Good and not so good. THE GOOD: I like the layout of the features and the controls are well placed. The night camera is really good, need a tripod though. The normal camera is also good with focus and exposure adjustments on the left margin. I like the ability to change the video settings on the fly instead of going to the iPhone settings and changing them there. The edit features are liked as well. The slomo option is cool. I like the fact that you can start and stop the slow-motion by touching the snail on the screen. The TIME LAPSE feature is awesome! I like the different settings that can be made. Being able to adjust the contrast, color temperature, exposure etc to the video and saving it as a new vid or overwriting the original is priceless. Most of the reviews here are correct, it's an awesome app. However I may pick up more details about the camera than most people do because I'm a photographer. I highly recommend this app after some issues have been fixed, see below. THE BAD: I discovered that the normal camera image quality is bad in low light... Very grainy and blotchy. I compared it with pro camera 8 at the same ISO and pro camera 8 was much cleaner, also the default iPhone camera was also much cleaner, no blotching. Software tweaks are needed to make the camera image quality better in lower light, I can't get the app to produce an ISO lower than 160 indoors! Photos look bad at full rez very grainy. The app uses high ISO all the time indoors and that is lame. I guess if the IQ doesn't improve soon, I'll get a refund. A $5 app should have better image quality from the standard camera. IQ is good in normal light. HDR, this is not very good. The blending puts halos around the dark objects that are in front of the bright areas and it needs a lot of work. It looks worse when blend is set to "high". I will continue to use Vivid HDR for my HDR needs. Video doesn't support image stabilization in 4k mode, (shaky on my 6s plus) compared to the default iPhone app, the difference is Noticeable! I would like an option to use tiff and be able to adjust the ISO. Otherwise it's a great app with great features. It just needs more tweaking. I'll post another review after some updates have been made...

Almost a great APP except........ I really like the manual focus on this. My problem is that the APP crashes and closes when trying to use Night mode and Slow Shutter. Update: 3/20/2019- new update solved my issues. Seems to be working as designed now. Thank you!
