GET THIS!. Used this app for about a month prior to taking (AND PASSING) the ACSM-CPT exam. The question format and difficulty is extremely similar to the real deal and the explanations for each question are very helpful. I appreciated how you can break up the practice tests into each domain and study all of your weak areas. I highly highly recommend this app to anyone planning on taking the ACSM-CPT test. This is just as good if not better than the $40-50 exam prep booklet you would buy elsewhere. Worth the money. Worth your time. Get this!

Very good. This app is so awesome I wish they made one for the EPC exam! All of the explanations are cited from the ACSM book! They also use pictures for explanations when it is a question pertaining to muscles and joints. Very nice!

Great App!. I used it for just a couple minutes at a time when sitting around doing nothing. It's a great tool for keeping the information at the forefront of your mind.

Outstanding Content. The questions are great! The explanation of the correct and wrong answers are cited from ACSM study material for all questions. So if you think an answer is wrong, you go to chapter and page from where they got the question and read it for yourself.

Passed ACSM CPT today!. I bought the app and studied for 3 weeks using the three books and this app! Couldnt have passed without this app! Srsly!

This is the main mode of study for me. worth investing into.. You can't go wrong with this app. its got everything you need to pass the exam. if you truely know your stuff, like a Kinesiology major would, i recommend you use this app to finalize your knowledge before taking the exam. DO IT. YOU WONT REGRET IT.

It’s an okay app. You can pretty much get all these questions on quizlet. It gives some knowledge but doesn’t really prepare you to pass the test.

Terrific app and service. This app was very helpful as a study aid. It helped me pass my exam and was worth every penny. I also appreciate the excellent customer service. Fantastic study app. I waited until after taking (and passing) the ACSM CPT exam to rate the app. This app is a good adjunctive tool for any study plan. I used the app to reinforce areas and to prepare for the comprehensive ACSM exam. The question style/difficulty is similar to those on the exam and the rationales are clear. I would recommend the app reference chapter/page in the textbook along with Kindle version. The app and premium content are a value. Do not hesitate to use this app.

Awful Experience. If I could give this app less than a one star review I would. After downloading the app I decided to purchase one of the upgrades. My card was charged and the money was taken from my account but there was no upgrade to my account. It still told me I was using the “free” version. I wasted almost an hour trying to find a customer service number to call with no luck. There is barely a message center to contact. This app just scammed me out of my money. DO NOT USE THIS APP

Was studying old content. My test is a week and a half away and I’ve been using this to study along with the book and webinars, etc. It seemed great until I realized that they just yesterday updated to the new content which was changed in December 2017. I’m upset I have been studying old material. I looked on the site to send feedback and didn’t see any email address.

Functionality is absolutely atrocious. I regret using this app because I spend more time waiting for it to load, logging in over and over again and dealing with it unexpectedly closing out, then having to log in again when I’m only 6 questions in! It is absolutely NOT worth the price and I deserve my money back because it doesn’t even evaluate your past exam practices and tell you your weak subject areas because it won’t load! I have literally waited 20 minutes to see if it would eventually refresh and actually tell me how I am doing in each domain but it just has the titles and says that I haven’t done any practice exams. Worst experience ever with an app. And honestly it’s not helping me study because now I am just thinking about getting the stupid app to load and not actually being able to read any of the questions. Will NEVER get anything from this company again. Sincerely, Refund Expected.

Good content; poor performance. I am very disappointed at how often the app freezes, doesn’t load an exam, and forces me to “refresh exam questions. “ With the price of this app I am surprised at how poorly the performance is. I have deleted and redownloaded the app and it still freezes and quits on me. The actual content of the app is great. I feel cheated as it was the most expensive app i have ever downloaded and runs like one of the worst.

Great app. It's an awesome study resource if you are trying to prepare for the test. It holds you accountable with daily questions and you shouldn't have an excuse not to review for a little bit of you have down time! But don't rely on the app to prepare you fully, study the books as well!

Not helpful at all. I failed my CPT test with ACSM because I trusted the information from buying the Full Version of the app would be enough to prepare me. Of all the 650 questions they provide I'd say I encountered maybe 10 on the actual test. Don't waste your time or money on this app because you'll just end up having to spend even more money to retake the test

Question of the day. The only thing you will get from this app without upgrading is the question of the day. I have heard that the questions do not match the test very well so I am not planning on buying this app for $10. (Really?) I enjoy my question of the day but until I see better reviews on the actual preparation of the ACSM Personal Trainer Exam, there is no way I am investing that much money into an app.

Great app! Passed!. Just passed the ACSM CPT exam! I ONLY used this app to study.... And got it 24 hours in advance to taking the exam. I did however get my bachelors in kinesiology so I had background in the material. The app prepares you with similar questions to the actual exam.

Get this to study!. Just took my ASCM certification and I passed with flying colors! This app was a huge reason why. Some of the questions within appeared word for word on the actual test, and even those that did not appear were very helpful for reinforcing the material learned from my ACSM textbooks. You should definitely still learn the material presented in the textbooks, but this app is tremendous as supplementary help.

Great for preparation!!!. This app is really good for giving you an idea of what the test will be like. I like the fact that you can either choose between taking the test and studying.

From Fitness Zero to CPT Hero. I took on this exam as a new benchmark for my career as a personal trainer, and this app is making a huge difference. If I'm on the go, or unable to sit down with my books for whatever reason, I just open up the app and get some review in. Great for busy working CPT candidate. Let's see how it goes on test day!!!

Helpful, but some flaws. This app is very helpful, but just like other ACSM products, there are many grammatical errors in the questions and answers, making some concepts difficult to understand.

Good, but..... This app would be waaaay better if it scored you while in the study mode. Also, there should be a "go to problem number ___" option. I accidentally hit the double arrow (right next to the single arrow) that takes you to the end of the test and had to tap the reverse arrow almost 200 times to get back to the question I was on.

Great resource, but overpriced. This is a great app to give you an idea of what the CPT exam questions will be like, but I feel it is greatly overpriced compared to other apps available out there. I hope it helps prepare me for the exam, but the 100 questions for the ACSM specific "exam" in the app are all the same whether you are in exam mode or study mode, and do not change at all when you retake the quizzes/exam. The only thing that is different is the order they are presented. Obviously, this is explained in the app description, and I decided to take my chance regardless, mostly due to all of the positive reviews. Also, as I went through the questions, it seemed many were repeated, just worded slightly differently. That's annoying but acceptable in the actual exam that has 250 questions, but in an overpriced study aid? No thank you. Out of the 100 ACSM specific questions, I feel you really only get around 75 individual questions, if you're lucky. Frankly, so far, I find this app useful as a one-time study aid to prepare for the feel of the actual exam, not to actually study the content. I have not tried other apps out there, but it seems the flash card apps may be more useful for actual studying. And since they are significantly lower priced, I would go for one of those first over this one.

Excellent and convenient review tool. Outstanding way to prep for the CPT exams. Excellent user interface and controls allow you to set up which exams to prep for, number of questions to include, and whether to be timed. Review and explanations for answers are also very helpful. Well worth the small price!!!

I passed the NASM Exam Version 4 on 1/5/13. People this app will definitely help you with your NASM exam today on 1/5/13 I passed my exam my first time taking it! I am a CPT all my glory goes to The Lord!

Awesome Sauce. This apps is great! Great for anyone trying to study for any CPT. Gives a decent idea of what you know and do not know.

Questionable. There are many questionable “correct” answers. I don’t think anyone really makes sure the proper choices for answers are there.

Helpful practice. I have yet to take the exam but the questions are similar to what the study material has presented so it's a fair way to practice and test yourself! I hope it allows me to pass!! Good luck studying :)

Glitchy. Please please fix the glitches in your app. It constantly shuts down, kicks you out. Very disappointing.

App is buggy. I can’t even use the app at this point. The app opens and immediately freezes. I’ll tap on the quick 10 question exam option but all I get is a never ended loading screen, which only leads to the app freezing again and quitting out. Kinda bummed that I paid for the unlimited access and can’t even use the app.

Absolutely outstanding.... and genuinely effective at preparing student to obtain certification. Outstanding tool to prepare for tests with and gain fitness knowledge overall. Especially appreciate the explanations available for each and every question. If you're preparing for CPT certification on any level this app is certainly capable of increasing your knowledge base and improving your overall test scores. Recommended.

Great app. This app was a great and inexpensive study resource. It points out weaknesses and knowledge deficits. I would recommend this to anyone who is aspiring to be an ACSM personal trainer.

Overall excellent, improvements would perfect it. Being able to select a specific question to go back to, as well as having a better explanation of questions would make this app a must buy for studying. Still recommend it for additional work

Do Not Rely on This App as a Study Tool. The app constantly glitches and recycles the same questions, slightly changing the words up on the mobile app for your “800” totaled questions. It helps as a quick refresher, but you will not pass the test just using this material. I took time to go online to compare the material tested and the questions there are 10x harder and more complex than what they are on the app. I went to review the questions I missed outside the app and the app showed past questions in the same simple form (i.e. they did not correlate and the questions were different but it still said I “got the answer right”). It does not help as much as you think it would for being $30...

Don’t waste your money. This app has reset itself more than once and now it doesn’t even recognize that I paid a premium price. All my test taking data is gone. Hope to get a refund.

Needs history by category. This app is wonderful, but an improvement I thought of was to see history by category, instead of just by exam. For example, if I'm struggling with domain II, I would like to look at that overall history rather than piecing together my history from many other exams.

ACSM CPT study app. After 6 month of using this app, I feel like it's very helpful, I am gonna take the exam this Friday! Let's see how this gonna work!

Acsm cpt app. Great app! Love that you can study daily with daily questions and you can also develop tests to make sure you're staying on Track. Love how there are explanations for each of the questions.

3 stars. It gives good content and questions, however they tend to be repetitive questions . I see the same question almost every time I take practice exam. It is also very buggy, crashes at least twice a day, frustrating when you’re in question 8/10 and crashes and you have to restart app. If they fixed both of these things, that would make it 5 starts for sure. Has been helpful.

Slow and buggy. Since the last 2 updates the app has gotten slower. It’s also very buggy and won’t load any questions right away. The app also freezes and then crashes after a couple of minutes. My exam is in a couple of days and I would like to be able to use this.

Practice exam. I currently have the free version and so far it's pretty good. I will update if I purchase the app but for now, they 20-25 free questions seem like they'd be questions on an exam.

Don't Buy This. This App was absolute garbage, I was doing very well on all of the quizzes from this App yet when I got to the ACSM CPT test none of the information from this App was used. It was completely useless and an absolute waste of money. Don't Buy This!

Convenient but price is excessive for product. Convenient app. The custom exam feature that allows you to select the number of questions you want to answer at a time is great. The Q&A explanation of answer as you go is a helpful tool as you receive immediate feedback to enhance learning. At $29.99 the price is a little steep for an app.

Getting worse.... The app constantly crashes, and/or takes forever to open up regardless of what is being selected. For those of us who have paid for the Premium features, and, more importantly, those of us who have exams coming up that we have paid hundreds of dollars for, the inability to utilize this app is a huge inconvenience and an even bigger disappointment. Update 08/02/2018: App continues to crash and request login info as soon as login is completed.

The recent update. This app was good and well organized until the previous update (7/12/16). The update happened 2 days before my exam and I lost all the previous material I had under my profile.

Overpriced for little to no help. I took my acsm exam today and I can honestly say you'd be lucky to see 5% of material on app on test completely bombed my exam. Too expensive for little to no help. Buyers beware

Great app. Great refresher questions.

I took the exam and No not the same. The app is good compared to others and the reviews are easy to incorporate in reviewing for the ACSM. However as this was my first time taking this exam I was expecting the exam to be similar to what was demonstrated not only on your app but also the many other apps that I utilized to prepare for this exam. After reviewing the material provided by ACSM I did expect that the questions were going to be similar however not identical. Although like other prep material pertaining to the ASVAB, SAT, and LSAT, the content in the text books and online preps resemble the test environment. I then assumed that this test prep would be the same considering it matched the rest of the apps on the market. My suggestion to strengthen your app would to place additional scenario based questions similar to the NREMT-B and the SAT. The mathematical equations that I encountered on the exam were fairly simple however they are not covered in great detail in Resource Guide (the textbook that appears that the app was designed around) but in the Guidelines for Exercise Testing and Prescription. Also additional questions based on lab/blood chemical analysis and gas exchange variables were also included in the exam and would help a great deal in preparing someone that is unfamiliar in this subject. It appeared that the version of the exam that I experienced was primarily geared towards this particular study reference as for the ACSM Certification Review, this guide has a very small section for the CPT exam however the scenarios are identical to what is experience but appears to be material that someone would review in a classroom versus a person studying on his own.BAdditional resources that I noticed in the exam compared to material available is that it appears that your app is designed around the "Knowledge of" sections within the ACSM Certified Personal Trainer Job Task Analysis (found on the ACSM website) After reviewing this information yes your app succeeded in identifying what needs to be known as a personal trainer however this is only a small fragment of what was experienced. This app from what I gathered is very good for a first time kinesiology student.

Material isn't on the exam. The app is great to understand the material, but these questions aren't indicative on what's on the 2017 test.

Horrible. Not worth the $7. I am getting ready to take the NASM and the questions that are under the NASM tab are not even close to what will be asked on the test. Don't waste your money.

Did not help. I'm going to keep this short and simple. I have 1 more year left and I'll be done with my bachelors in exercise science. I could get 96% or more on every practice exam on this app. But I still failed the exam. This app was the definition of a waste for me
