Wish I'd had it in Korea. Came home from a Korean vacation wanting to learn more. I had two apps in Korea. They were both terrible. Wish I'd had this one! I'm really enjoying it. Only had it three days and I'm ready to upgrade to the full version.

Very helpful!. I'm learning a lot with this app! My only "complaint" is that I want to be able to have it show me the English word so I can see if I can recall that word in Korean. But I'm really loving this app and will continue to use it!

So far so good. I like the options here like dictionary, daily reminders, voice pronunciation, and Hangul options. I am a self learner so this tool is a great way to start. I highly suggest this app to start off in. FYI, it is very formal version not updated with slang or hip words that you would like to say informally.

Love this app!. I have two apps that I use to learn any language, and this is one of them. I use Nemo Korean (or any language) to help with learning phrases. I try to spend a few minutes each day working on reading comprehension mostly, but there are also tools to help with your accent, and you can change the pace between 3-10 new words at a time. I currently stick with 5. The only reason I got another app was because I needed something to help me learn the alphabet. Nemo would be better if they had an alphabet option. I would also like it if I could change the volume in the app without turning it off or affecting my background noise (sometimes I listen to nature sounds, leave me alone :P). I also hope to learn more about grammar, but so far Nemo has been better for grammar than Drops (the other app). I also really really like that I can spend as much time as I want for free.

Love It!!!. This app is very easy to use. I've learned so much in a short time. If you use play mode it will continue repeating so it useable while driving, in the gym or shopping. You can even record yourself to judge your pronunciations! I do hope they add challenges that that system will record and rate you on. Examples would be annunciation, grammar usage and spelling. Please and Thank You.

❤️❤️❤️. I absolutely love it. I love how they have the feature when you can compare yourself to see if your pronouncing it correctly! Also love how they have the romanization and the Korean version of the all on one screen. I've been learning at an amazing pace with this app.

Really enjoy this app!. I've been using Nemo for a few weeks now and I am impressed with how much easier Korean is to learn with it. Some say it's too formal, but I figure if I was to go to Korea, I would rather use the formal version until I got to know the other person better. The fact that this app gives both the formal and informal versions is great. Also, Nemo has a reminder option so you can study at the same time on the days you want. Very happy with this app!

Definitely love this app!. I love this app because it’s a rare thing to find an app that lets me practice my listening skills hands-free. Sure, some other language apps have listening bits, but this is the only one I’ve got that just lets me hear and practice the words and phrases without me needing to press the screen to hear something new. It’s perfect for when I’m walking my dogs. Though, I might now be locally known as The Weird Lady Who Mutters To Herself, I don’t know. It doesn’t matter. It’s got me practicing my speaking and my listening in one convenient app and I love it. However, there are some things I don’t like. Most importantly, the phrases it teaches you vary wildly in politeness level. Like, please study Korean from something that will teach you about politeness levels, because you will be all over the map if you just rely on this. You need to study from more than one source to understand what’s going on anyway, but this is one specific thing that stands out. And less importantly, I want the ability to make my own playlist. Yes, you can mark words as Favorites, but that’s a tiring thing to keep cultivated when it’s your only custom list. My favorites is mostly a list of things that don’t stick, but I also want to make lists of phrases, or adjectives, or idk, things that are fun to say out loud. Anyway, I love the app regardless! It really filled a specific need of mine!

Simple and efficient, just very formal. I've downloaded SO MANY Korean language apps and none of them are as good as this one. The studio feature, the pronunciation audio, the flash cards, and the ability to look specific things up since everything is in alphabetical order is very helpful. Yes, some of the Hangul is off but it's only a few and it isn't too misleading so it's forgivable. My only complaint is that it teaches you extremely formal speech (like if you were talking to your boss or someone important), so I believe the app may have been made with professionals in mind who need to learn the language, and less for casual learners like me. Even so, it is good to know formal speech. Thank you for this app!

Language app I use the most. I use this app every day or every other day and it is wonderful! It reminds me to look at the words of the day and there are soooo many words that you know you'll be using the app for a long time. It also sorts words and phrases by categories so they can be easier to find. You can also just search up any word and they will most likely have it. What is really helpful is that every phrase or word comes with audio so that you can make sure you're saying it properly. Over all this app is wonderful and easy to use!

Simple app, good job. This is a good, basic method for learning some useful Korean words and phrases. Very, very user-friendly! To understand grammar and sentence structure, you'd need something more, though.

Amazing. I've downloaded multiple Korean apps, this one, by far, was the best. It's really helpful, even if you're a beginner. But you do have to pay to use all of it, I haven't done that yet, but I will.

Great tool with many options. I was used to duolingo and not eager to learn the ways of a new app but this is such a great way to learn! It has many different tools to play around with so that you can choose what works best for you, including audio, video, visual cues, and voice recordings so you can examine your pronunciation . It rates vocab for you on a temperature you can adjust depending on the difficulty, so that when you practice "hotter" words come up more often vs cold words. It will also tell you your daily stats and compare with it week by week. Play around with it and find what works for you!

AMAZING. I love this app so much! I like the way you get to learn phrases and words and that there are so many variations to learning them. Also they have so many words for free and it’s all just great practice. For being free this is by far the best app I have found for just wanting to learn vocabulary. It’s easy to use and free!!! The only problem I have with it is that sometimes there are so many things you can learn I kind of get confused of how to use all the controls. It’d be cool to have like a “show me around” thing in the beginning so that users can use be app to its full potential. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!

The absolute best. I mean this when I say it. This app is the most helpful. I make actual flash cards out of the words and phrases they give me and I've been learning at a very rapid pace. I can pick out words and phrase from Korean conversations now and it's really satisfying.

So Much Help!. I’ve honestly been looking for an app that starts at beginners stage because every app I got in like duolingo they pop up with these big words and haven’t even taught me the basics! The only feature I wish this app was like a drawing feature where we can write the words. But all together I totally recommend this app keep up the good work 👌🏾

Good, but.... I loved this app at first, it taught me a few words and phrases, but after about a week, I realized that I had pretty much learned everything and that was it. Other than teaching you a handful of words in mostly formal speech only, there was nothing else to be gained from this app. No offense, but this app doesn't really help learn the language, just some limited vocabulary...

LOVE IT!. I have used various apps and computer programs and this is by far the most helpful!!!! I used it once and I already feel like I am am learning and improving! My favorite part is where I am able to record my voice and see how close it is to the actual pronunciation. I think this app is really helping me in my pronunciation! Used it for about 30 minutes and corrected some major errors and problems I've been having! Love it!

It's a really good app tbh. I'm learning a lot and getting better! It really does help my pronunciation with the words and I can put how many words I wanna learn a day which is cool.

Good versatile app. I've downloaded 5 learn Korean apps (so far) this is the one I use the most. It's the most versatile, with the most options, I really like it. I can learn per word or sentence or I can put on play for the car and it will go through all the words I've learned so far. It asks me how many words I want to learn per day, it asks how I would like to view those words. I will very likely purchase the $9.99 upgrade which will give me over 1200 additional words or phrases. Someone put a lot of thought into this app, and it shows good job!

Love it !!. I love learning this language since I'm into K-pop . Is easy and fun for me . The only down side is I really want the full version of the app ... Which cost 10$ . I have the money for it but I don't want to pay that much for it . 나 사랑 이것 !!! I want to learn more of this 아릉다운 language .It would help me if I decide to go to Korea .

I'm learning a lot. Good things about this app: 1. The ability to record my voice and compare it to the expert. 2. The ability to set the speed of the voices. 3. Large print. 4. Being able to test myself before hearing the answer. 5. So many options to mix up the learning styles. These are things I've appreciated in just a few days of working on this app. In time I'm sure there'll be more to come.

Build sentences.. I like the reminders to keep learning Hangul. Although I have not upgraded to get more vocabulary. It will be helpful to learn how to build your own or most common sentences. Thank you for you work. I enjoy Nemo 감사한 드립니다. 감사합니다.

A basic introduction to the language and easy to use.. I use it frequently as this is a difficult language for me to learn.

Great app for learning Korean. This app really helps me with language, and it’s set up to assist with memorization - which I really needed.

Word packet each day.. I really like that this ap gives me several phrases each day to learn. (User may set how many phrases per day) This meters learning to make it fun and avoid becoming overwhelmed. This is my favorite learn Korean ap.

The best app ever. The punctuation is everything, they teach you world but words i Love how the give you words each day so you can practice you punctuations ❤️❤️❤️

Good for beginners. A decent app for beginners who just want to learn some basic vocabulary. Only down side is that you only get about 100 words for free. Then you have to pay.

Awesomeness. It fits in my everyday life. I can practice in different ways, to make it easy for me on that particular day!

My favorite language app. I have tried about eight different apps to assist in learning Korean. This app is by far my favorite. It is easy to use and my favorite feature is that you can change the format of delivery. So, if I'm driving in my car, I can set it to just say each word eight times (along with the translation). I can also practice reading by taking the phonetic descriptor away and only leaving the Hangul. Awesome app!

Fun to learn w/lots of options. There are lots of options in settings that make this learning app incredible. Slow down, speed up, add romanization and pause plus lots more that make it fun to learn. Most apps i have use speak too fast or dont give me enough time to think about what word i am to use, but this app is awesome the words are spoken clear and at my rate! Fantastic it is a MUST for learning languages properly

Addicting. The free version of this app is an excellent introduction to Korean. It has an amazing layout and also has a lot of tools in the settings (not to mention the great voice quality). I would definitely recommend!!

Very easy to memorize! 👌💕 좋아요. I downloaded at least five Korean apps but this one is a WAY BETTER because the same word repeat every time and it gets stuck to my head. I really like this app

Only one flaw. I really like this app. It's good to have on in the background when you're doing housework or driving so you can practice. I like that if you aren't comfortable with a phrase, you can turn it red (increased frequency) so you can practice it more. My only complaint is I wish they had typing exercises so I could practice spelling the word as well. Otherwise it's perfect.

great app. My wife and I use it every day. I'm in Korea now so I get to use some of the phrases already, and surprisingly --- Koreans understand what I'm saying! Not too impressed. Tho used in korea for special circumstance, the ap doesn’t offer #s in korean or warn u its chinese instead. Handsfree version is no different than having an audio phrasebook. The ap is also not entertaining. There are aps that make learning a lot more fun & r therefore more effective imo. Oh i do like that (unlike most aps) for the translated roman lettering, they offer ‘shorthand’ which means they’ll write it as its pronounced & not by the letter IE Kamsamnida is how u SAY thanks however most roman lettering translation write it as literal translation of the lettering which is kamsa-ham(p)-nida. So shorthand offer is a big help. BUT tutors advise 1st learning hangul (korean alphabet) prior to attempting the language, just for this reason &pronouncing letters properly. Without teaching hangul first, i find the ap lacks a key tool to speaking properly. Recording myself is only useful if the ap analyzed it. People tend not to hear their own accents or know what they do wrong in a language they dont yet know.

theres a problem. after a day of two when looking back at the words i studied under "words for today" everything before the current date would show "this list is empty" this has been a problem for all of my nemo language apps

Fantastic Korean learning app!. This app is very well designed. I turned is on the reviews mode while driving. I can learn dozens of new phrases a day! I also like the function of recording my own voice then compare with the teacher's voice. The user interface is designed very well with large and clear fonts and cute graphics . This is the initial reason that I decided to purchase the full version of this app after comparing several similar apps.

Easy and works. This app has so many features that are simple to understand and help to learn Korean words. Apps. Really I LIKE THIS APP BECAUSE HERE I CAN LEARN MORE KOREAN WORDS. EVERY DAY I LEARN GOOD WORDS AND I LEARN SO MUCH WORDS. 😜😊💓💓

Has flaws. I want vocabulary words, not phrases. That wouldn't be a problem if you could remove entries that you didn't need. So, adding that option would be great. As for the phrases themselves, I know a number of native speakers in their 40s who say that the phrases taught here are far too formal, even for strangers. Give me words like cat, train, door, and let me decide what phrases I want to learn and at what level of formality. Otherwise, the app has a good structure. But I won't be buying the full version :(

No voice recording playback. I recorded my voice to hear my pronunciation, but It won't play back... And that is useless that way

Great app. If you are starting to learn Korean, whether for personal use or for school, this is a good place to start. This app has flash cards with it written in Hangul ,romaji , and in English. This app also has a voice button that allows you to hear a korean pronounce the word or phrase and allows you to practice with it. I hope that your choice to learn Korean to really enjoy the wonderful language and experience more in depth knowledge if Korea itself.

Hmm. This app has some phrases that Koreans don’t use like in some text books so be careful with that ..

Awesome app. This app is, as someone else has said, a great complementary app to other methods of learning. It doesn't quite stand on its own, but it does incredibly well for the purpose it was intended for which is vocabulary building. The main reason why I like this app so much is that there's an option to show the words in only Hangul, which is something most other apps are lacking. I like this option a lot because it forces you to read and familiarize yourself with the characters of Hangul. Personally, I find that if the romanized version of a word is present, that's what my eye is drawn to and then I won't read the Hangul characters which isn't helpful to my learning. Seriously, perfect feature.

It's okay. This app is okay but it only teaches me word and not the sentence structure so I can't really form sentences. But it good for learning the basics and casual speech for free so yeah.
