Better than Duolingo. This app had helped me tremendously in learning Hungarian. I attempted using Duolingo first, but it would just give me nonsense sentences (ie: I hear the black apples), which didn’t do a lot to help me figure out the language. In the 6 weeks I’ve been using this app, I feel I am learning the words better and I am able to start forming sentences. The app also works, which is a big plus. If you’re looking to learn Hungarian I highly recommend this app.

Flash cards memorization. This product is very helpful for flash card memorization of the language. Some of the words are more for written language and legal documents, but it is a good way to expand vocabulary.

Good app but.... Is the purchase of this product good for only one year? I bought it, but it has reverted to the limited free version.

Awesome app with great interface. Simple to use, many features including speed of pronunciation and learning mode for review, including accent checker (self-recording). What I liked best was setting the number of new words I wanted to learn in a day.

A very good tool - worth the price. I've got a numbers of apps to help me learn Hungarian, and I would say this is the best of the lot. I was hesitant about the high price (for an app), but I'm pretty happy with it. The selection of words in the list is just about perfect, and the usability is quite good. An improvement would be to have more than a single voice pronouncing the words. As it is, the same female voice speaks all words. Also, she speaks the words slowly, whereas I would prefer a more natural way of speaking. Good luck learning this hard language.

Fabulous Darling!. This is the best application of teach and review I have found for language acquisition. Could use more variety in game type reviews, and with an updated version with a female accent it's worthy of classroom use. Still figuring out the layout, but overall I have recommended it to others interested in speaking and understanding my Hungarian dance teachers.

Super easy. Super easy to use, I like how it auto plays. That way I can get ready in the morning and still practice!

Nemo Hungarian app. Is very good. I like the iPad version more than the iPod version. But hey- that's just me. Five stars.

Great App For Learning Hungarian. This app is great for learning the basics of the Hungarian language. I just wish that it wasn't so expensive to get the rest of the packs. Other than that it's a wonderful app that is very good for beginners!

Great way to learn. I've traveled overseas several times and always had a hard time learning even the most basic local language phrases. Seeing the words, hearing them spoken, and recording my own voice has been most helpful. I've been told I sound like a local. One thing in really like about Nemo is the consistency of the spoken examples-same speaker- as opposed to other language learning apps where they have different speakers throughout.

Product review of Nemo: Magyar (Hungarian). This product is fantastic! The function by which users record themselves speaking Hungarian phrases and compare the recordings to actual Hungarians speaking the same phrases does wonders for pronunciation. Love the product. I've downloaded it for French, as well, and have recommended it to others.

Great App. This app makes learning fun and easy.

So far, ok. I need to hear Hungarian repeated several times a day to get it stuck in my head. The best way to do this would be to have a single word or short phrase, maybe 3 times a day, and only when my mini IPad is on or being used The options in Settings should include the above mentioned options. As well as the fast ability to change frequency as many times or as few times a day. ALSO: it would be nice if some dangerous words are taught every once in awhile, same for swear words. Oddly this is very important because if I’m in Hungary it’s important to know I’m in danger. In the late seventies I had foreigners even follow me into toy stores. My phrase was , “Sir, is your immigration card up to date?” Worked like a charm. Thank you for your attention. — M. Gulyassy

Great tool!. This is the best flashcard app I found for hungarian. You can select specific words you want to learn by adding them to your favorites. Also, the app can sometimes work as a dictionary, but you are limited to the content that is in the app (there is a lot) I highly recommend this app!

Great learning tool. Its hard to find a good app to learn Hungarian. This is one of the good ones. You can hear the pronounciation so it helps with the speaking as well. Im glad I gave it a try!

Crash on iPhone 4S ios7.0.4. To fix crash - delete and install again

Superior App. This app has the best functions of any other app I've tried to use to learn Hungarian. Primarily the flash card system that reads both the English and Hungarian aloud. I wish it had a bigger vocabulary and that maybe they'd gamified it a bit more. They have a fairly primitive hot cold system of rating that could be improved, but I only use it for the flash cards anyway. Egy nagyon yo app!

Just what I was looking for. This app, so far, is just what I was looking for to practice Hungarian before my trip. It has a nice interface, that's very easy to navigate, and the voice is pleasant to listen to. I especially like the record and compare feature.

Easy app for Hungarian. This is a simple and effective way to learn basic Hungarian phrases and words. I am amazed how easy it has been to learn a very difficult language. The repetition was at the perfect level. Great travelers aid to pick up words needed to communicate on a simple level.

Pretty good. I can't figure out how to make it quiz me on what I've learned. Good for learning new words for the beginner.

Very useful. Easy to learn and practice. I enjoy learning new languages and this is the best app I found to learn Hungarian after a long research. Used some others, not even half as good as this one.

Audible flash cards. This is a good vocabulary building supplement to something else like a pumsleur program that is already giving you grammar.

Nemo Hungarian. We've only played with Nemo for a week, but am enjoying the app immensely, and feel as though it will be useful as long as we are consistent and practise ... which is why the reminder prompt is another function which is important 🤓🌏

Great app. I've downloaded the free version and really like it. It makes learning a difficult language easier. Once I've mastered the contents of the free version, I'll buy the full version. A glossary section would be a handy addition so I know what the words in brackets under the target word mean. Is it the formal version of the word??

Hungarian. Definitely the best language app I’ve come across so far. I’ve been using the paid version for a year now and it’s been really good. It’d be nice if there was a grammar section in there so you can read about the grammar and informal/formal language better, but it’s a fabulous foundation.

Great way to learn words. I am brand new to Hungarian and I have found repeating and seeing the spelling is very nice and makes it easy to remember the language. Thanks for making this app!!! I hope to visit Hungary some day (from Canada)

Nemo Hungarian. As an English speaking person, this program is excellent for learning vocabulary and simple phrases. In fact, it is very difficult to see how it could be much improved here. However, after learning several hundred words, I don’t have enough knowledge to put them into coherent sentences. With its different tenses and word endings, I know Hungarian grammar is difficult, but some basic understanding is necessary to be able to begin to think with the language. I would suggest that this be added to future versions – that is the only reason I did not give a five star review.

it crashes after 5 mins. i was recording my voice for playback when the App crashed completely. it was a hard crash. i hd to reinstall everything.

Jó!. So far so good. Simple and easy to use. it’s teaching me basic words and simple phrases. That is what I wanted to start out with. It’s been over a week and it’s kept me interested so far.

Good practice but some missing words. I like the way it is set up, like flash cards for review and practice. However some of the subjects in the full version are lacking in many words. The colours subject doesn't even have the word for purple. Many of the words are repeated under many different topics. It isn't as comprehensive as I would have like for paying $15. I hope they update this app and add many new words and topics!
