Very good!. I i have had many big situations in my life that I can’t find a way to proses. And with this app, I found that I can can process and deal with them in a way that I like. This app also doesn’t give many ads and has a lot of ways to jot stuff down.

Wish I knew I would need to pay. Great app and enjoyed using it but all of a sudden I got a “prayers exceed limit so you need to pay” notice. What? There was no indication in the description or anywhere in the app that you needed to pay if you wanted to list more than 6 prayers. Wish I had known that up front. I might have been willing to pay the $6 for the full version but I feel a little deceived so I will be finding something else to download.

Beautifully simple. Easily the easiest prayer app to use, yet fully featured and functional. Thanks for making a great app that helps me pray everyday!

Just what I needed. I have been looking for something like this for a while. Glad I stumbled on this. It helps in this digital age to be able to have one’s prayer requests abs journal in the same place. I would love to be able to get checkboxes in the request boxes though. But really like it. Totally recommend

Great app for praying. I’ve been using this app for my prayers for years, and I did buy the app so I don't have the ads at the bottom which was very distracting. The problem I have is that I haven’t been able to load any of the updates for years. I went into the Apple store & they looked into it & said it’s not on their end & to reach out to the app developer of this app. I did that too & they responded it’s not on their end. So there is an issue here & I’d love to have the latest updated version since I paid for the app. Will look into other apps but will keep using this old version until then I guess.

Closer to God. I appreciate this app, praying always seemed as if they were lost, now I can look at my prayers, and know that they are all being taken care of by God. It also helps me be able to pray, sometimes words don’t come as easily. I know he hears me, and I can look back at my prayers and see the ones he has answered, and relax in the knowledge that his will be done.

Love this app. I have been using it for about 3 years to record prayer requests and answers. It helps me to be more diligent in praying for others. I highly recommend. I do have a suggestion for a future enhancement: would love the ability to sort the requests alphabetically within a group or sort the requests/answers by date. Currently when I add requests, I have to manually reorder them to arrange in alphabetical order.

Overall Excellent. The app is great. Great organization and I love the way you can check mark the prayers and it puts it in answered section. The only thing I wish you could add onto the answered prayer a gratitude prayer below it. Otherwise everything else is excellent thank you so much for this app! New User. Just getting started. Loaded a bunch of prayers in a short time. Nicely organized and easy to use. So far so good!

Can access same account from two devices. I like the app but would be better if I could access my account from different devices.

Recommend to my church members. As a pastor, I regularly recommend this app to my church members to help them in their personal prayer lives. It definitely helps me to stay on top of prayer needs.

So Disappointed!. I paid for the upgraded version of this app and I loved it. I used it all the time and had many prayers entered into the app. Now the app freezes. I can’t do anything. I cant enter prayers or change settings. The app opens, but that is it. Can’t use it at all now. I tried deleting the app and reinstalling it, but no luck....and I lost all the content even though I had it set to save to the cloud.

Not free, and some crashing. I know everyone is trying to make money, but such a severe limit on the number of prayer requests in the free version seems slimy for a spiritual app. I had some crashing issues with pop up ads as well. The UI of the app is great, but the notable limitation in “free” aspects of the app make it unusable for me.

Used to be good. I am so disappointed in this app now and no longer recommend it. The free version used to have a reasonable limit on number of prayer requests so you could have the basic features and use the app. I got a new phone and downloaded the current free version and they have made the number of prayer requests so few to force you to buy the paid version. This one may as well be called a “sample” and not an app. I don’t mind paying for additional features and expanded storage but when they have changed the app like this I consider it deceitful and greedy.

This app helps me keep prayer needs at hand anytime I need it.. app helps me keep track of all my prayer request in one place.

Praising God for Mercy in answered prayers. This APP allows a great and easy way to have a single place to collect & keep a list of prayers needed. I used paper, post it notes, napkins, and anything at the moment before. I would also like to see the answer portion connected to the prayer. Thanks for this.

Disappointing. I am looking to strengthen my faith by praying the hours, and I’m following the path laid out on a prayer website. The calendar portion is not “try before you buy,” so I had to plunk down $1.99 to find it doesn’t work - I set up today’s prayers and reading, and when I went to set up tomorrow’s, the app duplicated today’s down to the calendar date. When I finished tomorrow’s entry, I saw the changes had been replicated in today’s entry. Totally useless.

Worst prayer app ever!. The interface is too confusing for me to figure out and how do I know if someone prayed for me??? I don’t get any notifications or anything. I would definitely not recommend this app to anyone. If I could give this 0 stars I would. I’m uninstalling and going to look for something else.

Dev Team please read:. This app works great for iPad, iPhone and Apple Watch. It syncs across all devices so you can pray without ceasing seamlessly. One Important Feature that is missing: Please allow user to touch the daily prayer request to make it disappear from the day’s list so that user knows it has already been prayed for. This would be a great feature on the Apple Watch. I have at least 30+ prayers on my daily list to view on my Apple Watch making it so cluttered; and it would be nice to see that list get smaller as you complete a prayer for each praise and prayer request.

Awful. I can’t believe how awful this prayer app is and i actually paid to be able to enter unlimited requests. It’s malfunctioned on most times I have accessed it and now will not do anything it’s frozen.

Simple and easy to use. The app has a simple design and is easy to use. The ads are not too distracting.

Good Day. In this modern age, we are all especially distracted!!! This is a phenomenal way to keep me focused and consistent. None of us pray like we should. Thank God for ways to help us!!!! Prayer of course, is not a tactic for a good day, but anytime we can come to Him, it IS a great day. 🙏🏻❤️

Up close and personal. What I appreciate most about having a record of some specific prayers is it’s great to be able to recount the blessings of answered prayer, knowing for sure what you prayed for, and how God specifically answered. It’s a great faith builder to have evidence that God is listening! It reminds me of how David referenced his previous victories to encourage himself in the Lord to believe for victories yet to come: “Your servant has killed both the lion and the bear; and this uncircumcised Philistine will be like one of them, since he has taunted the armies of the living God (‭‭1 Samuel‬ ‭17:36‬ ‭NASB‬‬)”. Now I’m ready for battle and can continue in the confidence God gives through answered prayers!

Real Christian Growth. If you are serious about your relationship with God, and you actually have a passion to walk with him instead of living for the world and its empty promises, it’s critical that you take some initiative (free will) and discipline yourself for the sake of Godliness. That means reading and studying and memorizing the Word of God. It also means prayer and meditation. It means pursuing Christ with all your heart, mind, and soul. Writing down your requests to God and journaling have tremendous value in facilitating all of these admirable goals, and this app is the best app I’ve ever seen and used. It’s wonderful, and I thank God for it and for those who designed it.

Excellent tool. This is a great way to organize and schedule prayers. Also perfect for tracking the answers as they are given. A great app for redeeming the phone that has so consumed our modern lives. Satan would love to use technology to distract us from the battle. But this app takes the phone back as a weapon for the Christian soldier. I love it!!!

Deceiving - seemingly “free”. It showed as free, so I downloaded it. Great, looked like the best out there for what I was looking for. Well I put in a couple requests and then it said limit exceeded and I’d have to pay for more. I think max was 5 that I put. Promptly deleted it. If you want to be a paid app, be a paid app. I would have still looked at it and considered paying. $6 is a little steep though in my opinion, but if it was what I wanted, fine. But there’s almost no use for the “free” version. Deceiving and it seems greedy. Not a super high tech looking app for this to be the amount it is.

Awesome app. I just started this app, but it is so easy to organize my prayers. I can put the prayers in different categories... friends, family, church, etc. there’s even a way to mark the prayers answered!😆 and if you want to send all the prayers to a group it puts it in a table for you.

Change is not always a Good Thimg. I have been using the free portion on this ap for quite some time, just on my phone and not interfacing with anything. It was great to help stay focused on many issues, individuals and situations that I wanted to pray for and to stay focused. While I had been praying , I had not accessed the ap. The updated ap did not bring everything up in a way that I feel is usable and was not complete. Many items had been deleted and some had old information. The format is more detailed than the summary level which was great to prompt topics. To view previous items in app purchases must be done and not even sure they’re there. I understand that everything is tied to profits and that’s too bad. Why 2 stars only because I used it so long and maybe I just don’t see all the features without all the In ap purchases .

Excellent Prayer App. After an online search and comparison of prayer apps, I chose this one - and I'm glad I did! It's intuitive and easy to use, and a perfect reminder and companion for my prayers. I love being able to add notes and Scripture quotes to individual prayer entries. I also like that it's easy to save to iCloud.

⚠️Please read before buying⚠️. This app was great until…ADS! It is a app that has ads. It didn’t show any ads on the pictures for the app. I would have gave it a five star, but the ads are annoying. If you want ads, buy it, if you don’t want ads, then don’t buy it! Do something else.

New Upgrade a problem. Love this app, but the latest upgrade to fix crashes has caused crashes and I can’t reorder my requests.

Excellent app which is only my missing one thing. The only thing I miss is the ability to have sub requests under a general request which can be individually checked off when answered. Could this be added?

Could be awesome. This app could be wonderful, if all it’s functions were free. As it is you get very basic access and have to watch advertisements. The more useful functions are available at a cost. The app gave me the impression I would have greater no cost access than it really gives you. Not cool.

Decent app. A good way to keep track of your prayer requests.. Lets me have all of my prayer requests on me at all times. Works well. Pretty basic though...could have some additional features.

Blackmail. I enjoyed this app for several years and have many answers to prayer recorded there. Now I can’t get to any of that unless I pay a fee for what I was told was a free app. My info is being held hostage. Before it was always an option to upgrade which I chose not to do. Why change the rules now?

Answer help. This app has revitalized my praying! It is incredibly helpful! The reason I gave it a 4 is because it is not simple to move around the categories, where to put answered prayers, etc.

Simple and Helpful. I enjoy seeing a list of the things I’m praying over. Then updating them with answers and/or more prayer over that person. It’s encouraging to see the answered prayers list and what I was praying over a year ago. I type in the bullet points and spend more time in prayer but it allows me a quick glance at what’s going on compared to flipping through pages in a journal.

Very helpful. It took me a bit of time to learn to use this app, but now I find it very helpful in organizing my prayers. I appreciate how I can create my own categories and specify which days to pray my different requests.

Prayer Notes. I find this app to be well written and easy to use. I keep many if my prayer petitions categorized and documented. It is great to review them regularly and click on answered prayers. Good tool on the go. I was glad to discover this as I was setting up my IPhone, it helps me pray on the go and enables me to record prayer requests from friends on FaceBook. It is straight forward and simple to use.

My Accountability Tool. I have really enjoyed utilizing this app. It has helped me a lot to write down my prayers, and then hold to those prayers daily. I have trouble when I pray with my mind wandering. I have often journaled my prayers, but that is super time consuming. With the Prayer App, I am able to "journal" my prayer, and scripture that is applicable to the situation. This keeps my mind from wandering and helps me to stay focused on the Lord. The Olive Tree Bible App, Scripture Typer, along with the Prayer App are my three favorite apps. They keep me highly accountable in my spiritual growth and in my walk with God. I also highly recommend purchasing the Prayer app; for the cost, you cannot beat the amount of spiritual growth you will receive. Keep the oil in your lamps! When we draw near to Him, He draws near to us! We cannot receive the oil unless we are drawing close to the Lord everyday in prayer, reading and meditation on His Word, and listening to that still, small Voice. In the book Whisper, Mark Batterson makes the point that God is talking to us all the time. But if we don’t develop the ability to hear that still, small voice, the cares of the world drown Him out. Daily filling our lamps with His oil by prayer, meditation, and reading is what helps fine tune the ability to hear Him. In the days that we are living, WE NEED TO HEAR HIM!!!!!

Simple and effective. Very simple, easy to use. Only issue has been that I've kept ignoring the 'review this app' reminder because of course it pops up when I open the app... When I'm about to pray! I've reviewed now so I should be ok :)

Hidden Charges. This is a good basic app for listing prayer requests. It has features I like, such as dividing requests into categories and the option of listing when requests have been answered. However, I also feel a bit ripped off. This is listed as a free app, but in order to list more than a very few requests or to unlock other features, you have to pay more. In the end, in order to unlock everything, you have to pay more than many other apps that do have a small upfront charge. I wish this was stated more clearly from the outset as I feel a bit cheated.

Limited prayers. You can only add a limited number of prayer requests until you have to pay. The purpose of this app is to help people with their prayer life and by limiting those who can’t afford to pay is defeating the purpose. There is no limit to how many requests you can ask God so there shouldn’t be a limit here either

Useful. I use Prayer Notes most times I pray at a set time (obviously not with the many "pray without ceasing" occasions thru the day) & find it useful, especially for memory. Topics in sections. Password protected.

So easy to use. I love this app, so easy to use and you create your own categories. I love looking at the answered prayers section. Only wish is that it could have automatic dates for the entries. But I just add a date for certain requests and answers. Thank you for this app!

Not Free. You’re limited to 5 requests then if you want more, you have to pay. I first downloaded this app on my old iPhone for free a couple years ago. Sadly I wasn’t able to transfer my data into my new iPhone

A Great Find. This has been a great way for me to organize my prayer requests. When someone asks, "Pray for me." or I volunteer, "I will pray for you.", I jot them down here. Then when if I am called on to lead in prayer on a Sunday, I can just pull up the label I created call CONGREGATIONAL and I'm set to go. I have these at my finger tips wherever I am, as I have the app on my iPhone and iPad and can up load any changes I make, keeping them both current. It was a great find.

Good but could be improved. I like it and even purchased parts of it but there is room for improvement. Somethings you pray for on a daily or weekly basis and because they are things you always need you never really move them to answered because you just have to add them back in. It would be good to be able to write answers to these prayers without having them removed from the request list. Ex. You pray for protection for your family and God saves them from being in an accident that day. It doesn't mean you stop praying for protection but you'd definitely want to record that answer.

Review. Re. prayer notes I love this app.....use it several times each day. Saves favorite prayers ,scripture passages, Important info to remember from spiritual literature. Five stars for me.

This app is more focused on profit than praying. The amount of in app features in this thing make it’s more of a distraction for prayer. Looks like apples notes is a better replacement.

Keeps prayers organized. This way, I cannot "Forget" what I was praying for, and can move to answered when answered.

Very useful. This app is great for keeping track of your prayers. I like how you can organize it into categories and the fact it has a password on it. It's really helped me to remember to pray for things on a constant basis. And it's nice to have a record of all my answered prayers.

Almost there. Prayer Journal is an good tool for gathering prayer requests and archiving answered prayers. Once automatic cloud syncing between iPhone/iPads is added I will add the 4th and 5th stars. The missing syncing feature is the special sauce that's keeping this app from being truly useful. It's also what keeps me from recommending it to friends. Please, please, please make it sync:) Tim

Organizes Prayer Life. Loving this app! Sometimes there are so many things to pray for that you get overwhelmed and don't know where to start. With this app, I can stop and record my prayers as I think of them throughout the day. And since we are to pray like the "persistent widow" I pray some of these prayers multiple times. Absolutely Perfect!!!!!!!. This app is amazing. It does everything the description says it should. I love that you can tag each request as 'answered'. The category feature and ability turn it on or off is great too. Where it loses one star is the price to remove ads. I've paid $0.99 for apps that do a lot more so I feel the $1.99 in-app-purchase should be $0.99. But great app nonetheless.

High In App Purchase. I downloaded this app thinking it was the perfect one. It would be if they didn't gouge you with expensive In App purchases. Almost $3 to unlock each feature. That's a ripoff.

2 weeks in.... And I'm thankful for the support in strengthening my prayer life. It helps me stay organized, I don't forget my list, which helps me maintain "pray(er) without ceasing".

Basic review after more than two years of use.. Here are some of my thoughts on where it could be improved: 1) when a large item is,written, it wants to add space before the text, making the box unnecessarily large. 2) sometimes the expand/contract arrows at the bottom of the page don't show, until I rotate the screen. 3) It also seems to be optimised for a portrait tablet orientation, which means i have to use a smaller keyboard. This is not ideal for large fingers. 4) it would be better with a drop down select for the category of an item, so that the category could be changed, without having to rewrite. And, an 'all' category should be available. 5) a prayer randomizer would also be pretty neat. 6) I would also make the collapse expand arrows in each item full the left side Of each box as I end up editing when I just want to collapse. Happens a lot. Otherwise, I pretty much use it everyday. It is certainly the best prayer ap that I've seen/used.

Unless you pay- it's useless. I could only put in less than 10 prayer requests and it was done - unless I paid to upgrade. Deceptive, it didn't tell you that. I wasted my time - now I have to find another app.

Could use a better connection to iCloud. This is a nice journaling in prayer app. It's pretty simple to use is and easy to understand. The only complaint I have is how it connects to the iCloud. You have to manually upload and download from iCloud. When you download it erases everything that's on your device. This makes it a little awkward when using this onto devices. You have to make sure that you've uploaded everything correctly or you could lose some of your entries when you download something that's been put there by the other device. Other than that it's pretty nice.

Syncing. Will not sync between iphone and iPad. Very frustrated. I will be deleting the app.

Nice app but beware of fees. I like the app but you can only input a small number of prayer requests before you need to pay to add more. The same goes for the journal or to get rid of ads.

Woot woot. I really appreciate this app. The reminder function is a little weak, and the app isnt fancy looking, but I can do everything I need to simply with it. The category function is very useful. I went ahead and bought the calendar function because thats the best way to use it in my opinion. That you can mark them as answered and then go back into the description to explain how it was answered is good, but maybe having a seperate box you fill in when you mark one as answered to say what the answer was- because lets be honest God doesn't always say yes- would be more convenient. Maybe I'll actually spend the money to get rid of the ads. I was a bit bummed that for all of the functions you have to pay 5$+ but then it is very useful and supporting them in this way shouldn't be a big deal.

Like well. I’ve been using this app to Keep my prayer list since 2014. I’m struggling with the new updates of IOS 13.2.. the app no longer opens. It’s been great up until now.

Disappointing. Really! I can have 5 requests and then I have to purchase. NOPE!!! It’s a simple app not anything worth purchasing. I will go find a free version now. C ya

Password c. My password does not work and even though I copies in my files I don’t know how to update or get it corrected

ALL OF MY PRAYERS ARE DELETED!!!. I use to love this app however every time you upgrade you delete my prayers that I have saved over 5+years. I am furious. I have purchased everything that was needed to purchase which is a rip off and I back up my phone and iPad daily only for you to DELETE... years and years of journaling!!! I don’t usually do reviews but people Do Not spend your money or if your do make sure you have another resource for back up!!!!! 😡😡😡😡😡😡😡😡😡😡😡😡 Furious Unhappy Customer in Texas!!!!!

Poor Free Version. App has very limited prayers you can crest before it makes you upgrade to the paid version to add any new prayers.

Bugs significantly hinder usage. Love concept but finding numerous bugs that make it extremely cumbersome to use. Not sure if it's better in the paid version, but as it is, I can't use it efficiently enough to want to purchase it. Doesn't save or prompt to save so if not careful, entries easily lost. Wish could exit app for Scripture research and paste Scripture into app without having to save and re-open request for continued entry. Scrolling doesn't work right. Unable to view any typing beyond keyboard since can't scroll entry up. Editing becomes very difficult when can't see or even place cursor in desired place. If request list runs off page, can't scroll list up in viewing mode either. As soon as remove finger from attempting to scroll, list bounces back to top. Impossible to select or edit anything that runs off the initial viewing page. Periodic bugs lock up screens, eliminate windows for entry, add large white margins to right that particularly affect display when turn iPad on side, etc. Hoping these will get ironed out. Meanwhile, still on the search for the ideal prayer app. (Previous ratings surprise me. Wondering how I might be the only one encountering these issues.)

Truly amazing app!!. I absolutely love this app!! It is near perfect. The ONLY thing I wish this app could do is put the list in alphabetical order as well as the chronological order. My husband and I started a prayer ministry at our church with a 7am prayer time every morning. We receive many request. It would be so helpful if I could put the list in alphabetical order when I need to make a change to a certain request and then put it back in its chronological order. I do find it helpful to see what the oldest request are. Other then that, I love this app. It is such a useful app in helping organize and remember who has requested prayer.

Beware. I lost hundreds of prayer entries because I only paid for “unlimited entries” and didn’t realize that I had to pay extra for database transfer. I’m SO sad! If you want your entries to be saved, pay for that upgrade.

The best. This is the best prayer journal I have ever used! Being very straightforward and self-explanatory, this prayer journal also provides great organization. It allows you to make your own categories and one can easily transfer any pray to the answered section with the touch of a bouton. Conveniently it shows the date the prayer was entered into the list and the date it was filled as answered. Again, so far this has been the best prayer journal I have ever had and it was completely free! I can't wait to experiment more with it and watch my prayer list grow! praying at all times in the Spirit, with all prayer and supplication. To that end keep alert with all perseverance, making supplication for all the saints, (Ephesians 6:18 ESV)

Awesome!. It's awesome for intercessory prayer. Sometimes technology can be a distraction that keeps us away from spending time with God. I'm finding that this app does otherwise and actually helps me focus and remember what to pray about. I've tried writing down a prayer list on paper, but I have a tendency to be disorganized, and either I eventually lose the list or forget about it. I like that the app allows me to create categories and once a prayer is answered I can switch it over to the answered prayer section! It's also convenient because it's already in my device and easy to add to my prayer requests. Now when I tell someone "I'll be praying for you" I better add it to the list.

Prayerful Companion. A great “prayerful companion” to keep my thoughts stayed on the Lord, and recorded for my reflection on all the things He has done .

HORRIBLE. How does this limit me from writing like its a journal !!!!!

Limited. I put in five prayers and that’s all they allow under this app unless I upgrade. They should say this up front.

Extra features don’t work. Still having issues with upload/download between devices. They need to take a lesson from other companies how to do this effectively!

favorite app. I like using this for prayer requests and also as as a notes app. like it’s simplicity.

No apple pencil. Very disappointed I can’t use my Apple Pencil.

Love it!. This is one area of my spiritual life that I always struggled with...a consistent prayer life. With this app, all my prayer requests are in one place and easier to keep track of than on paper. It is less time consuming to type a quick request than it is to write it down by hand, and checking off answered prayers keeps the list nice and neat while still letting you see all God has done in your life through prayer. Who doesnt keep their ipad/phone on hand? Being able to immediately add someone's request to my list ensures that i won't break a promise to pray for someone simply because I forgot about it. Highly recommend it! Thank you for making this app!

Gotcha!. Do not appreciate downloading an application and you are forced to pay for it before it becomes functional.

Wonderful and practical. Still learning my way around an iPad, but this app is a regular in more ways than one! Of the three apps I found for prayer, the other two didn't even hold my attention for one day - this has the features of flexibility (pray by day or subject, assign prayers to different days, categories, move them around within the day), showing the Lord's answers, plus additional features I haven't used yet such as Emailing prayers. Only glitch that would be nice to eliminate is avoiding repetition of prayers. Because I have a lengthy list for each day, I separate daily prayers into morning, afternoon and evening. But when a new prayer is added, it throws off the order previously established for that day, and prayers which had been placed early on for the morning end up out of order and must be manually resorted by me so as not to be repeated. If there were an option for designating prayers to be for morning, afternoon and evening this would solve the problem. That issue aside, this is a wonderful way to address all the prayer needs in a manageable manner. Thank you for making this app available!
