I hate the subscription here’s an idea maybe block some stuff off and make us pay for the blocked stuff but make some umblocked games that we can play.😊And I totally agree with this person named ‘sorry I can’t find a nickname’But me being a kid has a difference.I had this when 5 or 6 and it was pretty much free but 2022 ai got it back and it was not free it makes me so MAD.😡🗯

Unsubscribe. I downloaded this for my 8 year old grandchild and after playing for awhile she did not want it anymore (go figure lol) I have tried to unsubscribe and stop further payments. I can not seem to unsubscribe and getting frustrated.

No Free Trial and Deceptive Fees. Our 5 year old begged for this app, so we downloaded it last night using the 7 day free trial. A credit card is required for the trial. She played last night and seemed to enjoy the games. This morning when she tried to open the app, it kept freezing and after uninstalling and reinstalling the app as a last resort, we were required to pay the monthly subscription fee listed as $6.99 in order to access the app. Our free trial still should have had 6 days left. Anyway, we agreed to the $6.99 subscription fee and ended up being charged more than double that amount. Bottom line, although the activities in the app looked like fun, the charges are outrageous and appear to over charge monthly fees based on our experience as well as on others reviews, so we canceled our subscription and will not download another app by the developers in the future.

HAVE TO PAY FOR EVERYTHING!!. I wish I could give this ZERO stars. My son was so excited to play these games. We figured we’d have to pay to play all of the games but downloaded it anyway thinking there would be at least a game or two that were unlocked that he could play…. But with this app, that’s NOT the case. The second you open the app, you can’t do a single thing without paying first! HOW GREEDY!!! These are our children who just want to have fun and yet the creators of this game just put their hand out and make you pay to literally do anything on this app! NOT COOL! Extremely disappointed because these games appeared to be fun but I REFUSE to pay for a game like this per month. Not even a chance to just pay one price, once, to unlock everything. PURE GREED!

Budge World Review. The spinner is gone and everyone is missing the excitement! Nobody knows what they’ll get! Stickers in the box change the same and it’s confusing now! Oh and missing the excitement, the budgers have no eggs! Budgers are in boxes now, which is not nearly as fun. It’s annoying in fact! Save this app’s Hollidays by fixing these glitches - please?! ps. The games are still fine.

App Freezes Constantly. Beside being on the higher price range for a monthly kid’s gaming subscription, it freezes A LOT, especially the last couple of months (Nov and Dec 2019). It’s to the point where I’m about to cancel it. We can barely get through a few turns of Candy Land. It’s so frustrating... over the past several months, I’ve spent nearly $100 on this app, and it barely even functions anymore. Very frustrating.

Can’t renew subscription. Is anyone else having issues with renewing their subscription? Every time I try to resubscribe it’s say it’s active as of dec 15 but yet it take me back to the subscription page and says subscription fail

Paying for a subscription and not being allowed to play - THIEVES!. BE WARNED. These people are thieves and will happily steal your monthly subscription $$ and deny you access to the game. Purchase at your own risk. They are currently taking $6 a month from me and upsetting my daughter greatly when she goes to play and is shaken down for a subscription fee upon launching the game. They’re crooks and get off on your kids’ misery. If you think I’m joking, go ahead and get a sub. Your kid won’t be able to play.

Needs a change. Hi,I myself used to love this game and I still do but not as much as I used to, let me tell you why. So a couple of years ago I downloaded this app and my parents said it was this amazing game with learning, coloring, and TV show characters. Until the game was finished downloading and we saw you had to purchase everything until you could actually play anything on the game and my parents angrily bought it and then I could FINALLY play the game. I have downloaded and seen my friends download so many games like this one, WHERE YOU HAVE TO PAY 😡!!! But that’s not all, a month or two later I go grab my device and get on the game, BUT IT SAYS I HAVE TO PAY AGAIN!!! Now of course I was little and didn’t understand that money doesn’t grow on trees, so I went to my mom and asked her to help. She didn’t look very happy. Download if you want to Devastate Your Kid. My daughter absolutely loved this game and worked so hard to get all of her “worlds” then all of the sudden it stoped working. I contacted the support team over 2 months ago and the problem still isn’t resolved. They won’t give me an ETA for when it will be resolved and they are still CHARGING me monthly for a subscription! I tried to delete and resubscribe today and it worked for a few minutes before crashing again and saying that our subscription “wasn’t active.” Now my daughter is crying because she can’t access the worlds she worked so hard to create and has been bugging me about this game for 3 months. Terrible company and terrible customer support.

Malicious. I received an email that my son downloaded this program and I was charged seven dollars for it and the subscription was going to renew in one month… At first I was upset my son for downloading without clearing it by me, especially for seven dollars a month. I Followed the Apple email that was the receipt for the billing, and it made me login which was strange, but I did. The email was malware. When I Logged in I knew I had been hacked. I closed everything and went into a trusted Apple site and this app has never been downloaded on any of our devices. I searched for it in the App Store And when you touch it it starts downloading immediately, I couldn’t stop the download and I had to force my device off. On the trusted Apple website it said spammers have started creating billing emails that make people follow the links Because they feel they have been wrongfully charged or overcharged. The email really looked like it was from Apple. Please do not get complacent, never follow a link from an email no matter how legit it looks!

The subscription is confusing but the app is good. Our resident Tiny Human absolutely loves this game! He is always asking to play it. We only had the free week trial and were looking at the subscription costs and noticed they’re different prices per monthly choice. One Month membership is $4.99, $6.99, $7.99 or $9.99 and it does this for 3 month memberships, 6 month membership and yearly membership, they’re all different prices for the same membership. The subscription portion of Apple ID doesn’t explain what is the difference, so I checked the app information page and that also had no information. So we shall not be renewing the subscription unless we can see what makes the choices different. Per the app information page no matter the subscription you unlock everything, so why the different prices? Hopefully this can be explained, but for now we’re cancelling. Update: I have reached out to your company in three different ways (review, email and fb messenger) on all the day of this review and this is the only response I’ve given. I’ve honestly given up and just won’t use your service. Which is a shame because the tiny human loves it. Dropped to one star because the company is a mess and can’t even respond to inquiries.

Paid Subscription PLUS Paid ad free BUT STILL Massive ads. I don’t understand why I have to pay for the subscription and then an additional fee for ad free on each game PLUS there are still ads like every 3 minutes into my child playing the games. Then pop ups saying “watch this ad for 24 hours of ad free experience” still show ads afterwards too! Not to mention the ads being shown shouldn’t be shown on a children’s app and despite having the apple block on the tablet to not allow unknown websites; still takes you to the website (not kid friendly).

App yes price no. My kids love this app! However it is too expensive 😔 I tried it for the 7 days and canceled afterwards. You would think they would set a reasonable price to resolve this issue that so many customers have. Anyhow I think it’s nice that the developers really thought about boys and girls when making this game! Some time I find that an app that’s supposed to be kid oriented caters to one child over the other. But this app is flawless in that sens my 3 y.o. Daughter can design cute little nails! I love that! My 6 y.o. son loved dabbling in every game possible lol. Thanks good trial and I would buy if it was affordable I hope this review help others I would recommended to buy this if you can afford it.

Started a free trial. I started a free trial to see if this was something my daughter would actually use. I mean $50 for an app/year is pretty pricey. Unfortunately the free trial didn't unlock ANYTHING AT ALL. Definitely cancelling. What a joke. :::EDIT::: Just realized when going through my subscriptions on iTunes that this was never cancelled even though I KNOW I cancelled it. I was charged $50 for this app that never worked, and that we wound up deleting. I’m going to contact the company and demand a refund for this.

But when I downloaded it for some reason it made you pay over $50 a week!! So please don’t download it if you don’t wanna pay $50. Fun games but app gives issues after trial. We subscribed for the free week trial and purchased a year subscription… after the trial was over it wouldn’t let us access it. It stated the subscription expired and I have to renew. I am not sure why.

I love budge world,but the most important thing is it works offline, It has no ads. none zero zilch nada, and it’s fun,entertaining, and not boring. THIS IS TRUE!!! +it’s the only budge app that does not have bluey. I’ve playing since 5, but stopped playing when I turned 8! I still love the app. If you want this app download it NOW! I’ve been watching caillou on PBS KIDS since 2013 when they aired reruns until 2020-and Cartoon Network as part of the cartoonito block until 2022-lately. And I noticed that the show was also on peacock as 1 hour long episodes and they had the best show ever. So I’m glad to see that the show in 3-d. and the games

Predatory. Budge literally advertises this in all of their other games and it is shown as free in the store. It is actually a subscription service that is outrageously expensive. This is unacceptable for games for young children. I can’t believe what some developers are willing to do for cash. I understand money must be made to keep making games but there must be a better way. Deleted already, considering deleting my other games from Budge. Others should do the same.

Another ripped off consumer.. The game was decent and my daughter liked it but I wasn’t going to pay this kind of money when there’s ABC mouse as an option.I paid for it for one month and then canceled and got a cancellation notification and then it just pops up on my card more than a month later been charged yet again for the subscription. After reading through the comments I see this is a common practice for them.

Ripoff. My daughter downloaded this app without permission twice, and each time it said “one week free trial,” and I’ve gotten charged within DAYS. The app itself seems enjoyable for her, obviously, or else she wouldn’t download it, but this makes me feel like it’s shady and dishonest. Don’t offer a free trial if you’re going to charge people before the week is up. For this reason, I wouldn’t download it even if I was willing to pay for it.

Everyone should get this app. There’s a picture so educational for kids so so so so much fun I think you are I’ll get it or you would your kids would just love it so much

The only way to make the world better. The best part of this is that the only way to get the best results from the game is to play it with a group of friends and family who are interested to learn the game and play with them and then they can have fun playing it together

The monthly subscription. Well I download the app but sadly I couldn’t play it because you need to pay money and well I do not have money so I asked my mom and dad (at the time I was home schooled so they thought it would be a good idea to get the app.) But one reason why I was homeschooled is because we didn’t have that much money so to get the app my dad or mom would need to get another job but they all ready have 3! Well anyway so of course they said no, so I didn’t get to have the app. That is why you should think twice when getting this app.

Kids deserve more time to play for free. I must say I always played budge games but always after a few minutes deleted the game because of how little they let you play for free. I understand that it’s profit but the prices are not very reasonable. I’m not a little kid anymore but weirdly still like strawberry shortcake, Care Bears , my little pony, and hello kitty. And the only good games made for them are from budge. But after only a couple minutes it is necessary to buy something from them to keep playing. And if not necessary then it’s just not fun. I just think it’s better for kids to have way longer game plays without needing to buy something. For being “kid friendly” have kid friendly prices and let kids play longer for free. But without that you have great games!

Too Expensive. I downloaded the free trial for this app since it uses characters my students with autism are into. They really enjoyed it, unfortunately we had to cancel after the trial. We are a low income school and cannot afford a $50 app. Fifty dollars is asking a lot, had it been an affordable app I would definitely recommend it. It's simply not worth the amount.

Best game ever. Sound issues. The app itself is great, I pay for an annual subscription however the sound is an ongoing issue. The sound comes and goes and for days at a time there is no sound at all. We’ve restarted the device, uninstalled, reinstalled and nothing. We’ve tried on all of our devices!

Please lower subscription rate. I understand that this is how you guys make your money but do you think it’s fair for a parent to pay over $50 for an app? When I first downloaded this game I had put the 7 day free trial and forgot to cancel by the eighth and my card was charged over $50 something dollars. I had to call iTunes to remove as I am a single parent and don’t have that type of money. At least if it was $2 a month or something but that’s outrageous. My 4 year old now has meltdowns because she still wants this game and I can’t afford it in full.

Not good. I downloaded this game for my little brother .he loves all your games. I thought it be free or parts of it would be free but I was wrong. I’m really disappointed and so is my little brother. A word of advice you should make parts of this game free. Peace of Mind. As a millennial Budge World is beyond my expectations of what a kid arcade should be. As a child I had unfiltered internet access, riddled with bugs and Trojan virus. Though games were free the threat of adult creepers was never zero. I pay the monthly fee because I support what Budge World is creating. Safe internet access to kids who are most vulnerable. No worries about intrusive lewd, harmful and violent against women ads. Just games made in the interest of kids. A game arcade that is sandboxed within its own content. I've purchased almost the entire series of strawberry shortcake games here on iTunes. Paying the fee is no different to me than paying for Netflix. You are paying the wages to the coders and art animators of the studio. The fee goes toward changing the minds of investors that safe content is desirable and Revenue can be made w/o ads. Realistically the fee saved you one take meal for that month. Or 4 Starbucks coffees. It's minuscule to future invested you'll be making and teaching the littles.

My fav app ! Must get. This app is great for 18months to 12 years old ! I myself love budge studios and love this App because it has all my favourite games all together. All I’d add is more fun cut scenes ! Otherwise it’s a great app !

Games are fun, but at what cost.. Currently using the trial and cannot believe how many ads there are and the insane frequency you are prompted with other Budge games. My kid loves the mini games, but is constantly being distracted the barrage of ads, many of which are promoting games that feature mechanics that are above the younger demographic of the BW app. Does the ad assault end with a proper subscription? Or is this a feature of giving you guys $10/m? if the latter, I guess I’ll just have to be the bad guy and ban your stuff from my kids.

Disappointed. I subscribed to this ap quite awhile ago and it worked really well until I resubscribed (paying $30) as my subscription was almost up and it has not worked since, my daughter cannot even open the open the app she just gets the spinning wheel of death until she gets really frustrated and goes to a different game. I have tried everything to get it to work...turned the device off, cancelled my subscription and resubscribed. It keeps asking me to subscribe!!

Will advertise non-stop to your kid. This app is the worst. We paid for a subscription and Budge pops out of the corner to wave ads for new games every five seconds. My kid gets to new game ads more easily than he gets to the actual games that are included, AND every game they advertise is also a subscription! I definitely will never buy another budge game EVER.

Subscription Issues. We’ve subscribed to budge world yet every time we close the app it asks us to resubscribe. It won’t restore the purchase and has to redo it each time. Having to do this multiple times a day is beyond irritating. App is great. If it works.

SCAM!. I clicked the option for the 7 day free trial. They instantly charged me $11 then a couple days later I got an email saying the subscription is going to end in a few days and to pay AGAIN for “1 month”. Do not even try downloading this app. They won’t refund me or resolve the issue.

Money pit. This app is a money pit. The monthly subscriptions gets you ads that pop up FREQUENTLY to have your child download another one of their games, and guess what!? That app then has $20+ in in app purchases. Save yourself the hassle and get something else.

Horrible app, horrible service.. This app is so bad even after you subscribe and after the trial expires I cannot get this app to work. I’m forced to try and recover, which sometime works (50/50). Very frustrating when you have a child who want to play this app, but can’t. Unsubscribed and uninstalled. Trying a different app.

Keeps force closing. My daughter used to play this app before it was a subscription, so when we put it back on the iPad she was disappointed when I told her it cost money. I decided to let her play the 7-day trial, but the app kept force closing and she couldn’t play it for very long. She told me she deleted it and wanted something else. I cancelled immediately.

Automatic subscription. One of those “try us for a week free” things with no reminder so of course you accidentally buy a month. I HATE these. My kids played it for 30 seconds and I paid $7 before I realized. If your app is that great, then give us the chance to buy after a week, don’t charge us automatically. I canceled and will never try again.

Does this app really offer a free trial?. I downloaded this app for my daughter to try out and so far she only enjoyed for a day. I noticed that it offered a 7-day free trial but then I saw that my account was already charged even before the trial ended and you had the option to renew it. I hope this can be fixed.
