Messed up everything. Only used it for one thing: turning off the phones from bedtime until morning. Every morning, the apps were all completely rearranged on the home screen, both kids had to re-log in to several apps, and all the settings for every app were reset (ie notifications, location services, etc.). No apparent way to fix this. Would not recommend at all.

Terrible. Absolutely terrible. When the app is being used it turns on vpn and in the middle of browsing any website it makes my entire iPhone 8 Plus freeze and the touchscreen completely doesn’t work and I have to hold the power button and restart the entire phone and also sometimes while browsing it shuts down my entire phone completely and powers back on by itself. It also messes up social media apps ever since it was on my phone it disables Snapchat and instagram notifications.

Completely unfair and embarrassing!. I’m the only one of my friends that has to have this insanely stupid restrictive app and it’s ruing my entire life! Friends constantly send me links I’m not allowed to see and since my phone locks down at 9 pm they all know about my bedtime now. My mom refuses to take it off until I ‘grow up’ but she’s the one treating me like a little kid. It’s completely humiliating and my friends all think I’m a baby now even though I’m 26. Thanks a lot Norton family!!!

Terrible app. Doesn’t work correctly, blocks the wrong content, doesn’t tell you what website you visited that you weren’t supposed to, just tells you that your parents were notified of your attempt, if you like customizing your homepage with your apps in a certain place, Norton will make your apps vanish and they will not reappear onto your homepage. The list goes on and on, it’s truly just a horrible app, nuff said.

Not this one. All other Norton apps I am fine with protecting your own personal info but this takes it way too far to the point where you cannot access a single app on the phone including a camera. Sometimes when the apps are supposed to come on they stall or just don’t come back. On my iPad they never came back on so we had to wipe the entire thing and sign into and create an entire new Apple ID account. Plz don’t do this to your child

terrible app. Definitely expected more efficiency from Norton m. couple days after downloading the on my child's phone - confusing and chaos ensued. App suddenly developed a mind of its own, blocking access from apps and sites that i specifically programmed it to allow. Despite the daylight and night time hours i selected, it would remain locked anywhere from minutes to a few hours after she should have been able to use it. I spent more time trying to undo its damage than anything.

I hate this!!!!!!!!!!!. What the heck. Not only did I find a way to turn this crazy app off, but when I did, all my apps were rearranged! The “help section” isn’t help, it’s there to rub it in your face that you’re just a dumb kid and your parents are in your life to run it. Seriously get a clue from these reviews and look away. Ugh.

Works Well. Got Norton a few months ago after my kids complained about Mobicip (and they were right). So far so good. The profiles were easy to put together, the kids are able to view what they want to view, I have guardrails up and I get a weekly report. I wish it would have more functionality with iOS and a PC, but it is what it is and you know that when you buy it. It recently went haywire on my son’s iPad but I don’t know of an app that is bug-free and I am confident we will work it out (when he finds his iPad that he left at his friends). Overall, I have been happy with it.

Awful app ;(. I added this for my child’s phone as she’s been sneaking out late at night and now it’s locking my child out of social media (snap chat, facebook, etc.) This app is horrible and it’s shows a level of untrust and it’s degrading and embarrassing! I just want to make sure she’s safe, not go through all of her stuff on her phone.

It’s good. Well, when my dad first got the “game”, I was ok with it. But, my two complaints are it turn my games off at random times and my dad says he’s not doing That <3. And my second is nothing it’s pretty good. 🥰

Would be great if it didn’t easily uninstall.. This app installs a vpn profile and Norton’s own browser on my iPhone 6. It allowed for blacklist and whitelist of websites. That is the best part. The browser was working great on WiFi and cellular LTE. Then I tested the vpn. I easily uninstalled the vpn with my phone password and safari was back with regular norton filtering of safe search and its websites but my blacklist of websites were not filtered! This renders the app useless. Please fix this app ASAP. Please require the user to sign into the Norton account to get a password to uninstall the vpn. This would give it the right protection it needs. This app could be great. We need more apps like this that works. I believe this app would be great if the vpn was not easily uninstalled. Please fix it so I can change the rating to five stars.

Might’ve broken my phone. My guardian recently got this for me and I had no problem with it. For context I had several groupings of apps and an alarm app set. This app was set up so it locked me out of my phone from 11pm to 6am. When I got in at around 11am all of my groupings were gone and my app order was scrambled. (This caused my phone to go from 2 to 4 pages) My widgets were gone and my alarm app was going off but it didn’t allow me to get into the app.

Crashes on iPad. I am disappointed with this app for the iPad. Twice already I had to delete and reinstall the Profile management because it blocked not 1 but 7 properties that I have not chosen. The crash was so bad that I could not even access the Norton to get online Also, I could not access some apps that I was able to use just a few hours earlier. Please fix the issue. The reason I gave one star review is because, as long as it is working, the Norton Family app for iPad is good for keeping kids safe online.

WARNING DON’T FALL VICTIM TO THIS APP!!! PARENTS PLEASE READ BEFORE DOWNLOADING!. Hello there. As you have guess by the title there are many reasons you shouldn’t download this app. It is essentially a virus for your devices. It deletes apps and stores every single bit of personal info. Once the apps are deleted you cannot access them or get them back. You can’t even turn it off. Heed the warnings of the reviews, DO NOT USE THIS!

This is Terrible!!. I would give this app 0 stars if I could!! It’s an absolute privacy violator, like I know ya parents wanna monitor what your child is doing on the internet and checking what apps they have, but people need to have privacy on their devices. Even if they have no bad apps on it people still need to have phone privacy. This is an absolute trust breaker. And also the screen time is disaster. It is is so ridicoulous, their excuse is oh I want to limit my child’s screen time and blah blah blah blah, even tho the parent is on it just as much or more. This app is ridiculous, it is a complete trust breaker and won’t even let you access apps that aren’t even bad. I don’t reccomend this app at all!! One more thing that is terrible when there is a time set that you should be off of it at night, when you can go on it again all the apps are reorganized. Especially when you organized your phones apps the way you want them. This is app is terrible and do not reccomend!!

why. This is from a preteen who has this on their iPad, so I recommend you read an adult’s review. They can tell you from experience what the app is like. This app does not do it’s job well. It blocks EVERY (yes, every) website with a video on it. This is quite a struggle to work around and discouraged me from using Safari for quite a while. Second, if you set a time limit on your device using this app (which you can already do without this app) it removes almost all app icons and kicks you out if you’re in one of those apps. This becomes an issue because sometimes you’ll be being something that you enjoy, and then that time limit just makes your device as barren as a dessert. Lastly, it doesn’t track your apps at all! I’ve accidentally been sent to horror games on Roblox, and have those games show up on my Continue menu. However, the app didn’t do anything about it, which is unbelievable. It should at least store this information on the app! This app can easily be summarized in two words: DON’T BOTHER. Instead of genuinely protecting your device, it traps you in a cage of limited content, doesn’t allow to access more even when you need it, and calls it protection. Parents, if you’re considering downloading this app, do yourself a favor and trust the 1.5 rating - this app is not worth your time.

Can’t even build trust. The whole point of growing up and having privacy is so that parents and children can build a wall of trust. this app absolutely tears that wall down and leads the children to feel as if they aren’t trusted. This app is designed for helicopter parents that want to control everything about their children’s lives. i al 16 and going to be a junior in high school and my mom used this app on my phone. i know it’s targeted though as she never turns off my sister’s apps. She’s going to be 13 in a few months and she’s going into 8th grade, So this app also leaves room for favoritism. Thanks a lot Norton. Love, A very annoyed 16 year old also, since norton doesn’t tell you how to uninstall it without uninstalling it, here’s how you do it: settings>general>device management>management profile>remove management and enter your pin. i wouldn’t suggest this unless you want your parents to know as it does inform them when you delete it. it’s only for if it’s glitched on your phone.

DONT DOWNLOAD THIS!!!. This app was put on my phone by my mom because her and my dad thought it was a good idea so they can see my search history and stuff like that. You can block apps from being used which would/could be used for if your grounding your child or they are not allowed to use their phone. But once this is on your phone everything will get messed up. You won’t be able to delete apps or anything your Wi-Fi gets messed up And When you search up for pictures you won’t see anything because It would be blocked and you would have to get them off of websites but only few because a lot of them would be blocked. Me my mom and my dad found this super annoying. Now I can’t get this off my phone and It is stuck on here. My mom and dad can’t delete it either. DO NOT GET THIS APP!!!

was good but now bad changes. was working fine until the recent forced vpn install. Now, when on cellular data, it’s burning through data like crazy. but when i turn off cellular data for norton, it also stops other apps from working, like Life360 tracker. i tried to turn off the vpn manually but it comes back on as soon as i open the norton browser. wish they would go back to how it was two weeks ago - before the vpn!

This app needs so much help. Downloaded this app on my daughter’s new iPhone 6S. Got everything set up only to find that she can no longer use any of her social platforms. This app blocks all social media apps. She can no longer use Facebook, Instagram, Snapchat, Messenger..... Total pain. So now in order for her to use any of these apps, she has to log into them from a website. This is ok except for the fact that not all of these apps have websites (e.g. Tiktok, Snapchat...). On top of this, there is no parental app or easy way to control or manage you child’s devise. There is no parental app to do this. You actually have to log into a website from a computer. You can try to log into the website from your phone, but by the time you are done trying to navigate Norton’s poorly designed website, you will want to throw your phone up against a wall. Norton has been promising a parental control app for months but still nothing. This app is definitely not worth what Norton charges for it. In fact, it’s not worth anything at all. I’m done with it. Cancelling the service and looking for something different. I suggest that you run as far away from this app as you can!

TERRIBLE. My parents installed this onto my new iPhone a month ago. I have a curfew from 9 at night until 6 the next morning. During this time most of my apps are blocked. Multiple time I have gone on my phone after 6 in the morning to find my apps haven’t returned. My mom used to be able to fix it but this time they have disappeared and won’t come back. It has been two days and still nothing. Do NOT get this app.

Other reviewers are just salty.. My parents installed this app on my phone, and I am honestly just disappointed with how other reviewers treat it. This app does what it says it does, and does it fairly well. It’s supposed to replace the phone’s browser with something more easily traceable for your parents, and that’s exactly what it is and what it does. Now, that isn’t to say it’s perfect. New tabs take a considerable amount of time to load, and certain websites, like the one my school uses for grades, are pretty poorly optimized for it. Overall, it works well enough to be perfectly acceptable.

I hate this app!!!. This is honestly the worst app! I used this app and it wouldn’t let me go on any of my social media’s and didn’t give my phone any network access to the apps that needed it! I am so disappointed in this app that would have to give it one star. I do not recommend your child having this app.

I give this app 1 star.. I do not feel this app is reliable. I can not get the profile To load on my IPhone XsMax. I have emailed support and chatted with support. I am sent to a “higher” level of support each time with no resolve. I was promised a 48hour call back after my case was escalated to a higher technician. NO call back day 3 now. I have erased my phone and set it up like new to see if it was an app compatibility issue. The vpn installs fine, but the profile installation won’t complete. Online It says my apps software is outdated however I deleted and installed The updated app several times. I am —-highly—- disappointed, especially since I have been a loyal Norton subscriber for years. This kind of customer service really makes me question whether my other anti-virus software is even functioning properly. I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS APP.

Useless to configure, impossible to uninstall. Every action to create a profile, reinstall or delete starts with an error message “There was a problem contacting our servers. Please try after some time.” Well that “some time” has been going on for over a couple months. Fix your app!

Unusable. I’ve been trying to log into this app with my iPhone for a couple weeks, but I repeatedly get an error message stating, “There was a problem contacting our servers. Please try again after sometime.” I am then forced to click refresh, which sends me right back to the login screen. I have not been able to log in and use the app at all.

App restrictions needs work. When supervision turns off, all controlled apps appear on home screens ignoring the original organization in folders or clear home screens (using App Library). I appreciated the ability to control my child’s devices in one management portal but unfortunately the supervision of Apple devices caused problems where I had to remove the app and go back to screen time for my management. I have all of the app shortcuts removed from home screens and exclusively use the App Library. I have to remove all the apps every time supervision turns off.

Its awful 😡. I have no privacy and my phone is slow. i cannot send snapchats, check gmail, use roblox or pinterest, and all my widgets i had on my phone are gone. This app is horrible. Please remove it from the app store. I cannot delete apps or manage my subscriptions. this is an app for helicopter parents.

Terrible takes away every sense of privacy. Works as designed. We just started to us this for our kids to help monitor their screen time usage. This is what we wanted with this app. The fact that all the negative reviews are from the kids is a real indication that this works. Of course kids won’t be happy.

Bad Choice, doesn’t work and support can’t help!!!. I used the time monitoring portion of Norton Family to restrict our two sons phones from 10am to 5:30 am. During this time it removed the icons from the phones. At 5:30 am the icons did not return. I called support and they could not see in THEIR system what was being transmitted to the phone app. I disabled the phone/iPad feature and after an hours the apps returned. Even though it was disabled the next evening it turned the icons off, at 5:30am again it did not turn back on and never did. I tried everything to gain control of the phone, but since when it took away the icons it took the norton app too, i cannot get into the app to put in the over ride password. I cant remove the app from the phone until it is unlocked and can not unlock it. We will be cancelling this service and going to Mcafee!!!

horrible. this app is not the move. my dad installed it on my phone and it's horrible it was fine for one night but the next day it deleted all of my apps. it's also horrible for me cuz the app restrictions and the screen time and it doesn't let me go on any websites even if i'm looking up a bible verse. if you're considering getting this app for you kid i would not it shows you don't trust your child and it will make your kids annoyed as heck and make them frustrated which you probably don't want your kids to be mad. overall i DO NOT suggest this app. sincerely, a very annoyed teenager

Thanks Norton,. Norton is an app designed for parents to see what their kids are doing and restrict everything, however this has the opposite effect on the kid. Norton restricts every single website and even if your trying to search up a question or go on a school website. It entirely frustrates the kid making them not even to want to use their phone. Personally I wanted to throw my phone at a wall at how frustrating this is. Now this is doing the opposite effect on the kid. This just wants to make kids to find other ways around it. For example if you installed this to get your kid away from going on social media or doing something bad online, and you go full on restrict mode, they are just gonna get upset and frustrated at you for installing this, and find other ways around it. Right now I after this review is done, I am doing whatever to get around this and disable it. Sincerely, A annoyed kid

The 1.3 rating is pretty accurate.. I downloaded this parental controls app expecting something, (and paying for the subscription) only to turn out that it was quite terrible. I am constantly spammed with notifications that my son was on a blocked website, and the first 3 times I freaked out. But then, I realized that these were school websites. My son can’t access school websites. It’s a pain to have to login to Norton to unblock IXL. Every time he receives a notification that someone chatted with him on Roblox, it’s blocked so I get a notification. I am constantly spammed 24/7 when my son isn’t even on his phone. TLDR; stick with whatever parental controls are offered on your device by default.

Breaks OS Functionality. This app has disabled native functionality on 5 devices across two different OS’ and no one can fix it. Promises of calls since you can’t speak directly to Level 3 support or their management have gone unreturned. I have been a Norton customer across several products for many years until 2021 when I let it all lapse but this one. I am the customer. Treat me like one. Now you can just respond to my complaint with the BBB. Surprised to say this but they are as bad as that large ISP that has awful service.

Don’t download. My parents downloaded it thinking it would simply limit my screen time, but now I can’t do anything. I can’t access my favorite games, social platforms, or any websites. I’ve told them to remove it but they still won’t, even if I tell them about how it messed up my device.

doesn’t work!!. i am one of the unlucky kids whose parents won’t trust me on my phone i bought myself. with my own money. by the way i am in high school. anyway the app never works correctly on my iphone and it’s very frustrating because every night it makes 90% of my apps disappear and every morning my mom has to reset norton for them to reinstall. i have about 30 ish apps and i have to regroup all of them every day. it’s very frustrating. also for those kids who want to get rid of it it’s very easy. go to settings>general>device management>management profile>remove management.

Worst thing for ur child. I am a mother my child is very upset with this disrespectful app, i think it’s ABSOLUTELY rude for ur child’s device to turn off, ik us moms lived in the past were there were no fun playing games, but our children NEED this like roblox is the best game for kids, this app is worst than time screen and time screen is the worst thing, so u shouldn’t get this for ur beautiful chlid.😊🛍

Horrible. I DO NOT RECOMMEND DOWNLOADING THIS APP! It not only causes your phone to glitch but it also isn’t a very great app in general. I downloaded this app because I thought it would help me and my child connect more but after downloading and using the app for a week all of my accounts got hacked! My child started complaining and saying that there’s someone talking to him through the microphone of his phone and telling him to run. I am utterly disgusted. I deleted the app after this fiasco. Afterward all of my accounts were fixed and my son’s phone wasn’t sending terrible messages. I am disappointed.

Should be called Norton Family Web Browser. That’s all this is. It only disables access to Safari it doesn’t delete it. If you are downloading this app then that is exactly what you want to do. Apple does not allow monitoring of safari so to get monitoring and blocking you have to use this app. This app is just a web browser BUT it tracks history and blocks sites. It’s for protecting your children from content you do not want them exposed to. It works. You view the logs on the Norton Family site NOT within this app.

this app is just too much. im a 13 year old, about to start 8th grade. this app litterally blocks google classroom, because its a "file sharing website." im trying to convince my mom to get life 360 but she says this is better. DO YOU REALIZE THAT IF I DONT GET RID OF THIS APP BEFORE SUMMER IS OVER, IM GOING TO FAIL SCHOOL?!?!?(keep in mind that i also have this on my computer) and yet the only reason why my mom got it is so i could stop playing games on my phone during lunch at school, but i wasnt even doing that in the first place. so now my mom is gonna get REALLY MAD at me beacause of a stupid privacy app.

Beware, deletes Safari. Just went through the process of downloading the Norton Family parental control and when I got to the end I realized it somehow turns off Safari, because it doesn't support monitoring of Safari. Still not sure how to get safari back. Also, this app does not allow you to monitor your kids usage, only to put blocks on what the kids can do when using this device.

Absolute worst most stressful app I ever used.. I never set time limits but they came up anyway with only 60 seconds to enter email and complex password and make and save all setting changes, but wait, this app just locks for my kids and doesn’t allow going back or giving access to parental controls.

Helps keep my kids safe. Very good App. The kids app works great. It does what I expect it to do according to Family rules. The parents app is all wonderful for quick changes when needed. 5 stars.

A waste of time. This app doesn’t really seem to work all that well. It doesn’t support the monitoring of safari and seemingly deletes it. Then there’s the forced vpn. It’s annoying, period. It doesn’t allow the download of other vpn’s and the vpn the app comes with can protect against inappropriate content but doesn’t help with the internet speed at all. The worst part is that it’s a complete requirement to use WiFi. No vpn, no WiFi, no Internet. I don’t really see myself using the safe search all that much and unless certain improvements are made, I wouldn’t recommend this app. Please look for another family protection app that actually works.

Can’t approve access to sites with the app.. I downloaded this with the hopes of making it easier to accept requests for website access for my son’s laptop. Usually I manually do it through email and must log in. Lately it has been for school and he needs access right away. This app does not solve that issue. You can see the notification and visit the site they are requesting access to, but you can’t approve it from the app. Waste of space on my phone. Norton, you can do better.

horrible and controlling.. Coming from a 13 year old, please listen to me. This app kicks me out of apps and website for no reason. Reports me for no reason. Makes messages come through extremely slowly. This app is just so controlling. If I could give this app 0 stars, i would. Parents, if you want to have a relationship with your child, don’t download this. Don’t take away your child’s freedom.

Really easy to bypass. I just deleted the device management and vpn. To have web search, you can the news app. Find an article that contains a link to reddit, search for “google links” and look for one that takes you directly to google search. You can then use a web proxy to search without screen time restrictions

This is not fun. I speak from my own experience that this app will do more bad than good yeah it provides parents with trust but the day I got it it started to delete all the apps on my kids phone starting at 2 am and ending at 11am witch makes no sense cause he’s sleeping at that time and wakes up at around 9 am I do not recommend this app because it had deleted my kids apps for three days and we couldn’t do anything cause it basically removes them from you AppStore so you can’t access them at all. Devs this is a nightmare, I deleted this app and it still will do this so warning all parents TRY A DIFFERENT PARENTAL CONTROL SITE FOR YOUR KIDS

I hate it. This app is terrible your child doesn’t get any privacy what so ever never use this at all. You shouldn’t even have unless you don’t trust your child it’s terrible can you please make them have a little more privacy

Horrible. The fact that people are spending $50 on an app that barely works properly. This app deletes my apps and randomly reinstalled them again a few hours later. All of my apps are moved to random places and my folders get removed when the apps reinstall a few hours later. Terrible app, not user friendly and buggy. 1/10

HATE THIS APP!!!!. At first I’ll admit I liked this app but then it started using to much internet so I couldn’t watch Netflix! Not only that but I put in the time and effort to sort all my apps into folders and Norton just deleted them! And whenever I tried to use the app now it just shows me this screen saying “Install VPN” but when I did install it the upload failed! And when I do manage to use Norton I have to keep making my account because Norton keeps deleting it! I absolutely DESPISE this app and if you’re thinking of downloading it my advice is DON’T

Horribly Complex. You need a PhD to correctly install this app. One error after the other and in the end no idea how and/or if it works.

Terrible app. Had so many issues trying to install this app. Spent over four hours over two days with multiple customer service reps and it is still unresolved!!

Amazing !. This app as a single parent has helped me to see we’re my kids are at all time & to see what there doing we all love it & have blocked the websites as a family we hate thank you to the creator this is amazing

No apps?. Now this isn’t oh there aren’t any apps after 7, though that is an issue. Once your norton year is over you loose access to the app. However if it ends when your apps are gone, none of the app ever reappear. You can’t uninstall the app because the App Store isn’t there. I went on customer service and I waited for 4 hours until I hung up the phone. This is a scam as you have to pay to get your apps back. 🤬

help??. trying to get onto a pages document for school after about 10, only I find that the apps have disappeared, including pages! now I can’t write up my homework! is there any way to bring back an app after 10? other than that this app is great, not like some other family apps we’ve tried where the apps completely disappeared or were too restricted or hard to use the actual app.

Horrible. This app is severely annoying and I raise concern at the fact that the child has no privacy or freedom. Yes some kids make imprudent or brainless decisions but giving strict parents more of a reason to control there kids genuially makes me sad cause strict parents think they help there kids cause they want the best for them but they really are emotionally damaging them. Overal this app would be good with some slight tweeks like being able to FaceTime or select apps to lock and apps to have unlock that would be great. Thanks :)

Good, but needs improvements. This app works well and does what it is supposed to. However, on the child’s iPhone, there is no way for Norton Family to be set as the default browser, and Norton Family will not automatically open links from emails, other apps, etc. (confirmed via Norton online support chat). This means web links, etc., need to be copied from the email, then pasted into the Norton Family browser, which is clunky and onerous. I’m grateful for the support and security The app provides, but I will update this star rating if the functionality and efficiency improves to make it easier to use.

horrible. slows down phone and deletes apps

Too many drawbacks. Due to an apparent Apple specification, the app will rearrange all of the locked away apps when they reappear, thus wrecking any folder system that you have in place. Good ideas in theory and may fit with you existing Norton ecosystem, but struggles with useful execution.

Horrible app!. If you turned on the phone after 10, all the apps that didn’t come with the phone would delete, only to come back the next morning in a completely random order, not organised in the folders. In addition, nothing happens if you use the phone for more than 2 hours, which is the supposed limit! Don’t buy this!

Where did my apps go. I was using my phone fine last night and woke up this morning to find every app not installed when you get the phone just gone

Stupidest App. Too frustrating. I had to delete it the day after installing. It messes with all the apps as said in previous review. I used the moderate restriction setting and received a barrage of warning emails in a matter of hours. This app is not user friendly. Actually, I’ve never been more annoyed with an app. To be fair - It may work great for parents who want to completely restrict their children, but it’s a fail for me and my family.

Removes Safari. I very much dislike the fact that it automatically restricts you from using Safari. Which also means if you ask Siri something and she leads you to a webpage, she’ll only use Safari and you won’t be able to open it. Not to mention you’ll have to download another app like Chrome or Google for your new search engine, unless you’re ok with using the one on the Norton app. I just want to say that I think it’s really bs. It shouldn’t need to take away Safari so it messes with Siri.

Doesn't work. I've downloaded this app after paying $50+ to find that it cannot work on either of the phones it was supposed to be used on. After wasting a bunch of time with Chat Help I have decided to delete the app and try now to get a refund.

Clumsy, and bad. Sometimes the vpn server doesn’t respond, and it turns off every app on my device for no reason for an indeterminate amount of time. The browser is terrible, just monitor chrome or something. Everything about this piece of crap is annoying.

doesn’t work!!. i am one of the unlucky kids whose parents won’t trust me on my phone i bought myself. with my own money. by the way i am in high school. anyway the app never works correctly on my iphone and it’s very frustrating because every night it makes 90% of my apps disappear and every morning my mom has to reset norton for them to reinstall. i have about 30 ish apps and i have to regroup all of them every day. it’s very frustrating. also for those kids who want to get rid of it it’s very easy. go to settings>general>device management>management profile>remove management.

Very disappointed. Turns off Safari, time rules, social networks, app House rules not supported. Location support is useless. Symantec you need a lot of work on this service for iOS.

Awful. Cumbersome, buggy, unreliable, and unpredictable. And those are the positives! This app is junk, pure and simple. It will stop monitoring devices randomly and requires reconfiguring often. Do not trust it to keep your kids safe online (you should be monitoring them yourself anyway).

Can’t delete it?. We got this and decided it wasn’t the app for us. Hard to change the settings and just not it. I however can’t delete it off my device. I’m not able to beet rid of the app and it’s really quite annoying.

Not a good app. My child was trying enter the Bible on her cellular device and it notified me that the app was somehow restricted. She also was playing a game and an advertisement popped up on her screen and it reported it as a bad website as well. The creators of this app should really review the items that are restricted on a child’s device.

Really?. I can’t access any apps except for the ones come with your phone when you buy it (excluding safari). Such as all Apple apps. I can’t FaceTime either, nor can I use the Norton app for web browsing, like I was instructed

do not recommend. the whole point of a child growing up is to become more independent and know that their parents trust them. this app created tension between my parents and i because i felt like they did not trust me when i have never searched up or done anything bad on the internet. it’s embarrassing not having safari, and it’s a complete waste of money because it frustrates every child who has to deal with it.

I would give this 0 stars if I could. This doesn’t work at all. I have this set up on my sons phone to take away apps from 10:00pm to 8:30 am. At 8:30 THE APPS DONT COME BACK. Aggravates me. I tried this and its a pretty good way to limit screen time except for the fact that it rearranged all my apps. I had spent a while organizing them all only for this app to ruin them. I’m extremely dissatisfied and would appreciate if you could change this.

Deletes Apps and tracks location. My parents got this app for me to track what I look up. Every night around 10:00 it deletes all my apps. Is there any way to disable this feature? Edit: It has also been tracking my location and I can’t turn it off.

No. The software overall glitches way too much, and it blocks my daughters things when it shouldn’t. Including her internet. This could just be a problem for our service, so I don’t want to pin anything, but yeah.

Terrible product. Terrible product. Endless troubleshooting with no resolution. App disconnects with no warning and no error message notifying me of the change. Tired of trying to make it work. Time to move on.

This is so bad it’s actually funny. So first off you can just get rid of it by going to general and device management and deleting this. Second, it only works for safari so that’s even more dumb. If a kid really wanted to get past it they would just get chrome if they haven’t already. Third, it’s just bad overall.

If I could rate this a zero I would. Once it shuts off once it makes your apps disappear and moves the apps from there original space. It takes forever to get apps back in place. Horrible app.

Where are my apps. whenever my mother got this to monitor my searches, my apps have been disappearing then reappearing which disorganized everything, it’s been doing that every night and it’s frustrating that i have to reorganize it everyday.

Not Easy Acess. I definitely regret paying for this app when there are others that have a parental control app versus having to use the website. It’s not easy to access and the mobile site is not great. Also, it’s not as effective for Apple devices. I went with this because I trusted the Norton name but regret this purchase.
