Very Good App. I don’t ever write review on apps but this app is exceptional! I have been using the free version for the practice questions for the PPL for a while now and they have been so helpful improving my scores each time. I am so impressed by how well made the app is I will now be purchasing the full ground school version for the PPL and probably other licenses further down the line!

Comments added after reply from developer. NOTE: See post edit comments at the end. Problem has been resolved. The app “installed” with no problem. When I tap to open the private pilot section, it started “downloading app” and, after a very long time, got to about 80%. There, it hangs and progresses no further. Even turning off the screen causes the process to abort and I have to start the downloading again from the beginning. It looks like it might be a useful app, and I would probably have purchased the upgrade, but I’m not willing to pay money for an app that might or might NOT even work. Edited after reply from developer: After repeated attempts, I was finally able to get everything downloaded and working probably. I changed my rating from one to four stars and thought I had deleted my comments, but apparently, I had not. I’ll leave the original comments so the developer’s comments will make sense, but all is well now.

Excelent Learning Tool. After reviewing the app came to the conclusion that this is an excellent way of learning for my Commercial and Instrument Rating.

Scored a 98% on my written. A little more expensive that some of the others, but compared to the cost of flight training it was nothing.

Perfect APP for Private Pilot License!. Finally, a general aviation APP with up-to-date information!! It’s convenient and a great way to continue studying for ground school without having to carry my huge book around. I was elated to stumble upon this APP while searching for studying tools to incorporate for ground school. The APP layout is user friendly and the test questions are setup just like you are taking the real exam! Awesome. Even if you only have a few minutes to study, this APP makes it possible to click and get all the info you need in each category. The only con — sometimes when opening the APP, it is slow to download and I can get on faster by going directly to the website, but that’s the only minor issue I had. Updates are fairly frequent keeping you current with the latest information you need. I am excited to have this APP available for a low fee. Worth every penny. Thanks so much, Flight Academy for this awesome APP to to assist with pursing my Private Pilot License/Certificate.

Don’t waste your time. This app is missing a ton of information. Don’t waste your time, get Gleim or Shepherd.

I used Flight ready for my private pilot written test prep which was two weeks prior getting the app and when I did the actual test it was a walk over with 93%, i’m using it for my instrument written test, I mean these questions train you for the best results when u get to do the FAA test it’s a walk over

Excellent Tool. I was skeptical, but I liked the way the questions and graphics were presented. Bought the private pilot portion, the flash cards alone are worth the price of this app. Had a little trouble getting around at first, but their web site had the help I needed. I will recommend to others.

Excellent Study App!. I decided to use Flight Ready for my Certified Flight Instructor Airplane (CFI-A) test and Fundamentals of Instruction (FOI) test. It was my first time using this software. It has a great database of questions. The study sessions are well laid out and the questions are easy to select. Pictures that are included in the explanations are well presented. I especially like the way that it keeps track of your progress, ensuring that you have studied all the questions in the database, and measuring your performance on the questions you have studied. You can also take practice exams. The price is average for a good quality study program like this. When I contacted support by email, their response was almost immediate and the problem was fixed immediately! In conclusion, great app, great service, and perfect for any pilot rating or exam!

Outstanding App!. I'm returning to flying after a decade away and this app is making my studying much easier. The presentation is clean and the charts appear along with the question so you don't have to toggle back and forth between the two. I would recommend this app to my friends at the flying club and any future students.

App glitches out of WiFi. App glitches out of WiFi range and has to constantly redownload and sinc data which leads to a lot of time wasted. If you switch to use secondary e6b app, FlightReady freezes and will then have to reload, sync, and download again and all progress doing questions will be lost! App is great for wasting time while trying to be productive.

Love it. I was looking for a test prep flight app and I was happy to see the in the configure setting that you can pick the type of course you would Iike. Great app

Making the the best aviation APP in apple store. I've been looking for an aviation APP that can be updated frequently and less pay. NOT like ASA app nobody improves that. I used the ASA app for my aircraft mechanic course that explanation for each question is insufficient. Technical support responded quickly when are in the trouble. Ed thank you again

Crash. I like the app. Not the best but it's good for a quick study session tool. My reason for commenting is that whenever I click on "study questions" my app crashes and brings me back to my home screen. Any help would be great thanks

Great aviation study app!. I love this app, and I think it is more effective than Gleim for me. Also much more affordable. I regularly switch between iPad, iPhone and web based on my computer and it syncs my progress flawlessly. The learning module is also pretty effective, at least for me.

Wretched interface. I’m locked out of the app because of the interface. The “submit” button is blocked by the keyboard, which is rather infuriating. The fact that it even requires you to input a password so frequently is absurd, considering it’s just a study aid, and not exactly a critical encrypted document database. They get you hooked in and then don’t support their program. There are only frequently asked questions on their support page. You should keep looking to find the right study tool.

Excellent resource for Part 107. I viewed many YouTube courses and videos preparing for the 107 exam. Found a lot of discontinuity and conflicting outdated info. Finally decided to try FlightReadys program, was reasonably priced and available across all of my devices. Found the material to be very detailed, well structured and provided a foundational background into Part 107. Actually more detailed then it needed to be, but I undoubtedly they took material from their part 61 material. Nonetheless the questions were similar and in some cases the same as the exam. In summary, was happy with the material and was my primary prep tool, allowing me to get a 93, although Was disappointed I didn’t do better as I felt well prepared going in.

Worst app ever. I just downloaded this app and it wont let me set up an account. It keeps saying that the domain of my email is invalid! Yea... its a really unusual one: @ gmail.com. Struggled with it for 15 minutes. I have wasted enough time. Now to delete this !!

The app still crashes upon launch. Left a review about a week ago and got a weird response back. While I was expecting a reply on how a patch was coming, I got instead a snarky remark on my low review. I pay for this app, I do expect some amount of gratitude and appreciation. I’ve used this app for my PPL and Instrument written, and I do love it, but I had my Commercial Written today and would’ve loved to have studied with this app. But again, upon launch it crashes, or it will crash within 30 seconds. So over to King Air, I guess. I’ll give a 2 star this time though, hopefully it satisfies your ego.

Question database way off. Just took the instrument written exam today. Studied extensively with this App, almost every single question in the test was different and not in the practice database or the practice exams . Not sure where you guys are getting your question database from but this was no fun... waste of time studying with this

This program rocks!! Don’t waste your money anywhere else!!!. This training resource has been so great! I love having the learning material literally at my finger tips so I can do quick study sessions when ever I have a free minute. I would also like to notate the customer service. I was trying to update so I could have the explanation function and my app wouldn’t let me. I reached out to customer service thinking I was out of luck, with in no time they fix my issue AND updated my app free of charge. Thank you! Can’t wait to pass my written!

Instrument Course. App was extremely helpful and good performance until I paid for the upgrade. Now it’s very slow, and crashes a lot. I’ve tried reinstalling it and no luck.

Less for more money. I’m disappointed that the questions don’t have explanations to go with them. To get an explanation, you have to purchase the course work. Having the coursework available for purchase is a nice feature, but I really didn’t need it. A simple explanation for the answers would suffice. I’ve used ASA prepware for Instrument Pilot that did give explanations, and they are about half the cost.

Great app!. I actually downloaded this by mistake because I needed the drone course, but the free content sold me on the upgrade. Great app.

Best exam prep. I bought this app after getting my endorsement to take my exam from another ground school, however I felt under educated to pass the exam. This app is a great study guide and has very intelligent features to track your progress. I will definitely be getting the IFR version when the time comes. I passed my written with a 97%.

Don’t make a bad decision. Do NOT even think about using this app! There are far better options available to use for training than the flight ready apps.

Results are everything. I used this app for my instrument ground school requirement. I thought the app itself is fantastic. Very easy to follow and the metrics provided were excellent. However, the only thing that matters is the FAA test. I scored over 90 on my practice tests and knew the questions very well. I passed my FAA exam thankfully, but my score was much lower than my scores on the app practice tests. There were a number of questions on the FAA test that were not covered in the app.

Average. If you have down time and want a quick study, it’s ok but be willing to pay money for explanations if you get one wrong. Other than that it’s pretty fluid

Misleading.. They make you believe it’s free, but then if you want anything that’s valuable you have to pay. If they had mentioned the price up-front I actually would have purchased it.

Not downloading. This app is not working properly. The app installed correctly. But when you open the app. It wants you to download what course you are interested in. But it gets to 90% downloaded and stops. SMH Update: I left honest review and now I have received a email threatening me to remove my review. Or be sued. We’ll bring it on. Cause I’m entitled to my opinion.

Piloting. Updating every week with new and better questions better graphics and outstanding test taking preparedness options you actually see what areas you have are weak and where you were strong and you can focus where you need review

RPAS Basic: Highly Recommend. Test score 94%. Passed with “ flying “ colours. I went through the course material slowly answering/reviewing all the questions. Then I wrote the Transport Canada exam. I finished the 90 minute exam in 40 minutes with a passing score of 94%. The course detail goes beyond what you need to pass the basic exam. I figure the course material covered about 30 of the 35 questions on the RPAS Basic Exam ensuring a passing grade. I answered the other 5 questions using a combination of google search and common sense. Only negative is that I may have acquired too much knowledge. Then again knowledge is power. I feel so powerful now.

Basic Operations Scam. Almost nothing I learned was on the actual Basic Operations test. Don’t waste your money for common knowledge.

Awesome Drone school and affordable. 40 some years ago I pass the exam for a private pilot license with a score of 95 %. So I decided to take the Transport Canada Basic Drone exam without any form of study and needed to pass with a score of 65% or better. I scored 62 and could have retake the exam a day or two later. I found Flight Ready School and will study for a few weeks then take the exam and will score really good. Next I will take the Advanced course and when my time is ok, I will take the reviewer license. I strongly recommend Drone lovers to take the courses as they are low cost and filled with the knowledge you need to be in line with the laws.

good price. Awful teachings. The price for the course I took (drone basic ops) was very competitive from what I could tell and compare. Once you start the course you begin to see why. No videos, limited diagrams and god awful explanations. Overall I went through 10 hours of hell and I want my money back. A WARNING TO ALL DO NOT BUY ANY COURSES FROM THIS COMPANY MESSAGE TO DEV RESPONSE: I do agree that I should not have gotten a refund but your clams of “100s of positive reviews beg to differ.” 1. My claims were accurate and true. 2. Your free trail glorifies the actual lessons and that’s why I bought it. 3. I had just finished the practice exam and now all my progress has been wiped to 3 days ago. In all honesty I knew I was not able to get a refund and I don’t want one all I want is my progress to be restored and to do the final test from transport Canada. Regards -Bitter customer

Totally not useful. The app gives you questions after questions without supporting material to get prepared. I did better without this app. I downloaded the federal documents and proceeded from that to successfully complete my exam. I would not recommend to spend the money on this.
