Love this app!. It was crashing after latest update on iphone x but now working beautifully again.

Excellent. This app has helped my wife and I so much serving in a foreign language assignment. Having side by side comparisons of translations in multiple languages goes a long way when you are learning a language.

Excellent in my note taking workflow. Using Equipd Bible in my note taking workflow is invaluable. On my iPad Air I can have WTLib open to a note page and access Equipd on the side panel. Toggling back forth allows me to copy and paste the verse in my notes usually before the speaker reads the verse. I can then add my observations of the application beneath the Bible text in my notes. Fantastic!

fast reference for Strong’s Concordance. I no longer am in the foreign language ministry (Chinese), so I do not need the app for it. Having used this app’s predecessor, though, I was familiar with how much faster it was than books to reference the information in the Strong’s Concordance. I purchased this app so that I could use the King James and Leningrad Codex Bibles with Strong’s Concordance.

Translations. Only two Bible translations are available on this app. I expected more than that.

Equipd Bible. The Bible app is good. However, the earlier portion of Equipd is missing with the daily Text and OCM schedule since December 12. 😔. DL Thanks for explanation. It’s a great tool. DL

Downloaded Bible. My iPhone does not give the option OPEN IN. what can I do? I want to use the Bible in Equipped.

Makes my bible reading so much easier!. Ever since I’ve downloaded this app I’ve been real consistent with my daily bible reading. I love the fact that you can follow a set schedule but also have questions for meditation at the end of each chapter so that I’m not just reading but imprinting the written word on my heart. I’ve shared this app with many in my congregation. Thank you Matt!

Awesome. This is a great tool to copy and past scripture for taking notes at public talks and convention. WTL does not copy with the scripture name, chapter, and verse yet.

IOS 13.3. Equipd app downloading only to Pages. No option to ”open in” Equipd

No doubt the best specialized Bible EPub reader. Here are some of the things that make this application unique. 1) Notes that support highlighting and markdown tags. 2) Notes stored in clear text format (json), not encrypted or protected from you, the owner of the notes. 3) Support for reading schedules (also in json format) and customizable if you want to. 4) The ability to do urlcallbacks from another application and get the scriptures inserted into your notes to open later directly from your notes (I use editorial to take notes and this feature works really good). 5) Ability to add any Bible that conforms to the application requirements. This is bit complicated if do not have any programming experience, but for anyone with a bit of knowledge they can modify an epub to conform. Things I wish existed in this application: 1) Tags (add one or more tags to a single scripture). The favorites feature works but not the same, you have to add the same scripture to multiple topics. 2) Search all your notes. The ability exists to search the notes within one book at a time.

Always has been the best. I have been using this for more years than I can remember really. I don’t remember when this app came out but I know from the minute I started using it ( prior to the capabilities the JW app has) it was really all I used. And honestly I still prefer it for the study and annotation. Capabilities . Keep the it up guys

The Equip Bible. The Equip Bible is built to work and unlike other apps where upgrades bring regrets and loss of features you will always find good support and improvements are alway on the way I recommend this app

Disappointed. No stars from me. I had an earlier version that I liked. I decided just a few days ago to update. No nothing works. I spent a lot of time thinking I was doing something wrong just to discover that it is not me but the app. Hurt, hurt, hurt. BIG apologies here. After a few days I attempted to get the app working again. I did finally get it working and it does now work as described. Sorry, sorry, sorry. I shouldn’t work on these things when I’m tired.

Excellent Study Aid. Easy to use and a beautiful tool to help thoroughly study Gods word.

LOVE THIS APP. I have been enjoying Equipd for several years — to copy and paste scriptures; as I take notes during talks, assemblies, conventions, CO visits, theocratic schools, etc. It’s a wonderful tool! Love it :-)

Thank You. I use Marshallese. This is great having two Bibles side by side! I can take notes in different colors! The Marshallese has a Good News Bible and KJV. The Good News is not in any electronic version that I know of. I can add it and keep that seperate from my other notes! Love the organization capabilities! I just found Bible Reading schedules!! Thank you brothers for all your hard work!

Clock. I love this it but I have a question. Does anyone know why there is a little clock on the top right corner of the equipment app? Once I go into Equipd it’s gone but it’s back there every morning.

This exciting. Thank you for this app! I chose the option to do my personal bible reading in chronological order and I am thoroughly enjoying it. This is the first time that I have kept up my reading consistently without interruption. I love the daily reminders I get! I'm not tech savvy and still have to learn all the new additions you've put in, but I'm looking forward to them.

Great App. I use this app a lot. Appreciate being able to go to scriptures “quickly “. Especially during a talk and the chapter is many verses long. It would be nice if we could connect to the research in it.

Really helps when learning another language. Started using this to help with learning Chinese. Now have English, Chinese characters and Pinyin for reading & studying the Bible. It makes it much easier to learn not just the simplified Pinyin, but the characters too. In fact I just found that there are many other languages one can learn with this Great App!!

Great Study Bible. I love the way I can attach research to a certain word or phrase, also the direct search into WOL....love it! Not to mention the language display options👍🏻👍🏻

Delightful tool. I am enjoying it, a nice supplement to the official JW Library.

p.s.. Very happy there is a back up. Don't have to worry about loosing my notes! Love being able to download audio and built in schedules is a nice bonus.

Better free apps. The app is not user friendly. No audio files and can only view one verse at a time in parallel view.

Needs a new iOS update.. I wanted to get this app for someone else because I use it so much so I went to make sure I can still add files and when trying to download from JW it opens in this app and says it copy pasted it but it is not added to app 🤷‍♂️ I assume it needs an update for new OS.

This app indeed supports NWT Chinese Pinyin. The only reason I purchased this app was to use NWT Chinese pinyin bible. Looking at the description images in the AppStore made me believe that this app supports Chinese Pinyin but the image in the AppStore is not of the New World Translation (it is Chinese Union Version) It is so misleading. Lot of people are purchasing this app thinking that they are getting the NWT Chinese Pinyin bible so please explain this clearly in the description. I know there is a list of bible that this app supports in the developers website but most of users will not visit the website prior to purchase. If I am making some kind of mistake and this app indeed supports NWT Chines Pinyin bible then my apologies and I will adjust my review. Thank you. Update: following developer’s instructions I was able to install NWT Chinese Pinyin bible. The best thing about this app is that it supports split screen so I can have my note taking app on one side and equipd bible on the other. Thank you for clarifying my problem and my apologies. I have changed my rating from one star to five star. Thank you.

Greatest Chinese pinying apps. I have been trying to find a Chinese pinying bible app for a long time now, and has never able to find a bible combine with a pinying. But this app it doesn’t just Chinese but all languages with it. The best app and worth the money to spend.

The ease of navigation, multiple verse selection, and simultaneous display of multiple Bibles (languages) makes reading enjoyable, and foreign language learning easier to accomplish. Notes provide a powerful and flexible way to store and access research on verses, with text formatting, links to other verses, website pages and images/artwork, and other apps, especially note taking apps that store broader or more in-depth research. In addition to supporting grouping or tagging of verses, bookmark topics support comments on verses in the context of the topic. This is useful for verse chains or note taking during talks.

Wonderful Bible App!. An excellent and flexible Bible App. I use it in bible study to add notes, internet links to reference works, related scriptures, and links to Watchtower Library articles. You can even link your notes to the Hebrew or Greek dictionary definitions from Strongs Concordance if it is installed. For example: G2316 for the Greek word theós often translated God. You can add an "internet link" to a verse note simply by putting the url internet address in the note. If you put a word from the verse you are commenting on within quotation marks, it will be highlighted in the main text to show that it is commented on in your note. If you put a related scriptures within parentheses and save the note, the related scripture will popup within the note. If you tap on the underlined scripture within the popup. You will jump to that verse in the Bible. I also appreciate the ease of copying selected scriptures from the Bible, enabling you to paste the copied text of the verse or verses into whatever you are working on. There are other excellent search and Concordance features as well. You can also install multiple versions of the Bible by importing epub files of whatever Bible you wish to install. Many Bible versions are available. Thank you so much for your wonderful App

Wonderful for Research. Make added folders for subjects. Adding notes for bible verses. I've just had it for a few months and am still learning something new about it. Fantastic app. Had to update this review again because it only gets better. Love the new feature of being able to put the Strong's concordance number on the notes. To do it, I select the verse I'm wanting to annotate, then turn on only the new world Bible and the king James. I click on the word I want in the king James, note the Strong's number in the pop up, click on the word in the new world to bring up a note and type in the Strong's number. It really adds to my Bible study. I'm using the bookmarks, the notes, love the feature of linking the note to a word in the verse. The new scheduler is great! I've got two schedules set. Plus as I do my bible reading I can save research right at the verse in a note. I'm currently saving bookmarks and notes for field service, using the different bookmark folders categories and adding more as I need them. I add a note to a bookmark to remind me of how I want to use it.

Outstanding Bible Reader. My favorite feature is how easy it is to copy from this app and paste while taking notes at meetings and assemblies. There is no other app that does this as well. Also, the ability to double tap to pull up the navigation, is awesome. No faster way to get to a verse, and works beautifully in split screen.

Great app!. This is such a great way to study the Bible in my first language and Chinese so I can get a better understanding of the Bible and Chinese at the same time...I don’t ever want to be without this app! Chérie B

Super useful. The bookmark categories functions serve very well on shepherding calls. It is also nice to be able to vector right to the verse(s) so as not having to scroll through the chapter.

A very versatile Bible app. Lots of ePub Bibles are included, and it loads the ePub versions of the 2013 and 1984 New World Translation. I love the Strongs KJV and Strongs Hebrew.

PINYIN. At this time, this is one of my most used apps because I can have the English, Pinyin and Mandarin Simplified all on the same window. It works wonderfully for those of us just learning Mandarin. Thank you!

Love it. I continue to use the Equip Bible and love it, the one feature that I really enjoy is the fact that when I look for a scripture it takes me to the chapter AND verse without me having to scroll to the verse. I updated my equipd Bible app and now when I open a book to read and go to scroll the page it bounces and won’t scroll. I am on the latest update on my iPad, 17.1 Any suggestion? This is absolute the best app around for Bible study and research. I had a problem with an update and notified the developer and he jumps right on it and the problem was addressed and fixed within hours not days or weeks. Thank you so very much Matt.

Fantastic!. Unlike previous reviewers, I use it to quickly compare different Bible versions easily. It's amazing the insight one gains on the scriptures when we do that. With this app it's so easy to do, very intuitive. I also use it during the meetings, being able to select the verse I want to read to me is much easier than scrolling down to them after selecting the book. I was using a different program that was not upgraded for IOS 11 so it quit working. After a bit of use, I actually prefer this one, great job! Keep up the good work!

We were lost for a while as my husband and myself relied on the original app for multiple language view of verses (we are learning Vietnamese) and it was no longer displaying well. What a relief to find there is now a new app solely for that purpose (Bible use), AND we can add notes! Thank you for your hard work!

Update. I love his app, and use it regularly, thank you very much? However I also brought your older app, Equipd , I really like certain aspects of your older app, I am using version 3.7.3 unfortunately the links are now broken, would you consider and update to fix those links?. Online I found this: The Bible is not loading - verses are just blank This is because of breaking changes on WOL. When the HTML structure on WOL changes drastically, this can cause issues with Equipd and requires an app update to fix this issue. At this stage all known issues in this area have been resolves with newer versions of the Equipd app. If you are still experiencing the issue where verses just showing a "Loading from..." message, then the first thing to check is the version of Equipd you are using. Are you using the latest version? You can check in Admin > About. The latest version at this time is version 3.7.1. If you are using version 3.7.1 and experience this issue then please let me know using the Contact link on these forums………… ……. My iOS version is 14.71 Thank you in advance if this is feasible.

Update. I found this so helpful in so many ways but it crashes now on my ipad with ios 15.1. I always felt that this app does not interfere with our official website. Not having this app feels like I’ve been set back 5 years in my Chinese service. I would pay for it again to get it to work again for me. I have searched and cannot find any substitute for its usefulness.

Upset. I am really Upset because when I download it, I was think that it's the one, like my mother, with the publications of the Watchtower inside for preparing my meeting but it's not. It's only differents version of the bible... :( I don't want the other one "companion" that you can download because it don't make the same thing that the Equip of my mother have (the old one). i would like to have the other one like my mom.....

Quick and snappy. Very convenient. I use Chinese everyday and needed a bible app that was reliable and easy to use. This is it! For those familiar with the old Equipd app, this is a must have!

Not an improvement - -. I use three Bibles (English, Simplified Chinese, and Pinyin Chinese) that are displayed in their own separate windows. Since the update, it no longer uses the entire window to display the Bible text. Even ONE verse, I now have to ‘scroll’ in order to read the text - before the update, I could simply read the text without having to scroll. The display windows for each Bible version are now extremely small - this is highly annoying!

Works great. App works great, would give it 5 stars if drag and drop was supported. So close to being really useful.

Bamboozled. I feel I was totally tricked into purchasing this app. I feel that I was misled into believing that I was ordering the Equipd app and instead I ended up with this Equipd Bible app which is totally useless for my purposes and there's no option to download the New World translation Bible. How do I get a refund because I'll never use this app?

Best bible reading app out there. While I use another app for my main study of the bible, nothing to date has been more useful to me for bible reading. It has been very reliable and I love the features. Keep up the good work!

Can not download the NWT study Bible. I have not been able to down load the NWT study Bible on this app….I had the old app for years and then it needed an upgrade but it won’t let me download from JW.org . What do I need to do to get that in my Equipd

Excellent Tool. So happy to have Equipd back on my iPhone and iPad! It is a great Bible study aid and the new features are a welcome edition. Now that users can download ePubs from jw.org on their own, it would be great to have the ability to do the same with any ePub publication, not just Bibles. Hopefully that will come soon! Great work resurrecting Equipd!

LOVE IT!!!. This is by far the best bible app I have found on the App Store. You can bookmark by subject, add notes to each verse with clickable links to other scriptures or outside websites and apps.You can see different bible translations of the same verses at the same time including other languages. You can have several reading schedules with reminders and more... I use it everyday! Thank you!

Most Useful Tool in the Box. Just as the title says, this app should be in any serious Bible student's tool box. Index is in!!!. Equipd Bible has become more powerful with the inclusion of the Index recently made available for download. Being able to access it while reading the Holy Scriptures makes "Digging" a breeze.

Excellent App!. I absolutely love this app, but unfortunately I cannot download the NW Translation on my new iPad since there is no longer an option to download the Bible from JW.org. This app does deserves 5 stars though because it’s that good. If there is a workaround for reloading the NW Translation into the app will someone please let me know?

Pretty good. I guess my only main complaint that I hope you can fix is making the highlighting/ notes easier and better to use. Instead of only being able to highlight a whole verse have it allow you to highlight what you want and have the option to underline. Also being able to add notes in where you want in the sense that u can have multiple notes in one verse because of different points or applications you can find. Overall, all I ask for is a few more features and more practicality. Thanks

One of THE best study and field service tool. I love JW.org's ability to book mark but Equid goes just a step further with not only bookmarking as many scriptures as I want but created category lists and backing them up. I have drawn closer to Jehovah because I was able to read the Bible in 1 year twice. I am able to use my bookmarked scriptures during letter writing. I tell everyone that this app is worth the money and much more. The developer is always quick to offer help.

NWT is Supported. Hello. Great app. To the reviewers who said that the New World Translation is not supported...The EPUB files on JW.org are supported. Go to JW.org, download the Bible in EPUB format, and “Open in…” the Equipd Bible app.

The missing link. Note concerning one star ratings for not finding the NWT in the app: It works the same way as using it in iBooks - You must download the NWT from jw.org and "Open in" Equipd. This is not the developer trying to trick people but the result of user error / people not understanding how to use the app. The developer is respecting copyright law, which is greatly appreciated. Updated review: October 13, 2016 Equipd Bible is a part of our family. I love the ability to choose a Bible Reading schedule right within the app instead of having to use a separate app for the schedule that links you to Equipd Bible. The improved notes features are very much appreciated. There's so much to the app to enhance serious Bible study that I recommend checking out the support forum so no great features are missed. Very nicely done! Previous Review: I always wanted to make notes in the Bible in the Equipd app, so this app is a welcome edition to my collection of apps used for Bible study on my iPad. It has terrific features and a dedicated developer. I'm looking forward to future new features.

Very nice. To get NWT into this version of Equipd: go to jw website, download Bible as ePub, open in this Equipd. To get two versions of Chinese Bible (characters and characters & Pinyin), do download twice of Chinese NWT. Just rename the second download (e.g. add a P to the name). When you 'open in Equipd' a box gives you import choices. On one of the imports do not turn on Pinyin when initially downloading and one of them do. Then you have both a just character and then a character-with-pinyin Bible.

This Is Too Wonderful. Bible study is a must for me and now with this 3.1 update to the App I have many things I need! For example Jesus' prophesy at Matt 24:7 names events that I can search on the web and link to the verse: "Earthquakes in one place after another" I can now document and add continuing occurrences. All the features of this App make Bible study an absolute delight and adventure! Love it!

Love this app! Such a blessing!. I have used this app for decades, from it's earliest development. How wonderful it is to have more access to more Bible translations,in particular the ones that actually have God's name in them. And i LOVE the Bible book/chapter/verse Pickers! As it makes it so much easier and quicker to navigate the Bible(s); As well as, the Font Size enlarger, since I'm legally blind. My prayer is that the developer of this invaluable app will continue to support having this app available, accessible and updated when needed for all users, including blind users who use screen-readers on their devices, such as, VoiceOver on iPhone and Talk Back on Android. Loved Dearly. I have used this app since its inception to copy and paste scriptures in my notes. I love, love the fact that I can be prompted as a reminder of my personal and weekly Bible reading. Disappointed. I have had this app since its inception. When it was still in the beta phase and was free. One used to be able to *listen* to the Bible with this app from Genesis to Revelation. The audio would play the Bible chapters, verses and then continue to the next book and play the chapter and verses. This is how I most enjoy listening to the Bible. Recently I paid the $2.99 for the app. No audio. No audio option. I cannot listen to God’s word. I am very disappointed. Even going directly to JW.org, one cannot tap the Bible audiobook online and listen continuously to God’s word without having to restart it when the chapter ends. The reading of the Bible, just the reading and the listening to God’s word seems to be less than or secondary to all the other bible support and instruction aids. You can’t even access the Bible on the JW.org broadcast TV app just to hear God’s word being read aloud! I’m disappointed in this app. And disappointed the availability of reading God’s word in an undertone day and night seems not to be much of a priority anymore.

Bible. Please how do I install different Bible trans? I use the iPhone X max and it won’t let me download Bibles from Jw.org

Top Notch!. This brother always does a super job making this app better and better. While I use JW Library at the meetings and out in service, this is my study Bible. The ability to add notes is exceptional but now that there is the ability to have a Bible reading schedule just makes this app brilliant. The other thing I use this app for is note taking at meetings and conventions/assemblies. This app, with the copy button, is outstanding for that. When the brother says the scripture, I am able to swipe over and look up the scripture, hit the copy button and add it to my notes before he even starts reading it. This makes my notes very comprehensive. I'm sure this app will only get better and better in the future.
