Very useful, but the ads are way to much. I love, and appreciate the app for it’s accurate translations of both English and Russian! The only problem I have with it are the ads.. when I began to look up the word I want to translate, It interrupts with an ad. Love the app, very useful but do something about the ads!

Great app. For a beginning student of the Russian language, it has been a great help to me both in finding the Russian word and translating the Russian word to English.

Great offline app for Russian!. As with all apps, you need more than one, especially for translation when you are overseas. I like this because it works off-line. You can’t always depend on Internet. I like how it gives you the translation you’re looking for, and a whole bunch of other related translations that you meant to say or might need. It should be a good assumption that you have some basic command of your target language so you are able to discern and choose the best translation for what you mean to say. I would pair this wonderful app with (all following are apps) Collins Russian dictionary, PROMT offline translator and Google Translate.

Best Russian English dictionary. Well written dictionary very easy to use! Worth the investment.

Amazing!. This app is great! I have several Russian friends, and my Russian isn't that good, so I need to translate their texts sometimes. It always works! (I don't get ads on this, because I have an ad blocker :)

Weak translation. Dear sirs; Hello Hope that your business is at good speed. Please take note that before purchasing this App, the online translation was quite satisfactory. But after purchasing the off line too, The translation is very weak and sometimes it is absolutely very unusual. May I ask you to follow this issue and take serious measures to fix it . Using this app. I’m writing a book in which a Russian speaking character is a major character. This app has been invaluable in bringing this character to life. Also, tops for adding color to the character.

Best thing EVER!. I use this app ALL the time to help with my Russian studies. It has wonderful pronunciations and example sentences. I also love how I can click on each word in a sentence and listen to each individual word and read its definition. <— this feature is what really sold me on the app. If the app could improve in one area, it would be to allow people to star some of the example sentences and individual words in those sentences. Otherwise, this is amazing piece of software. I recommend anyone studying Russian get this app.

An essential tool. Incredibly helpful and chock full of useful information like noun gender, word pronunciation, and examples of usage! Very user-friendly!

Very good dictionary, but…. I was pleased to use this almost every day, but suddenly it stopped working.

Still ads?. I paid for this app so as to avoid the ads and was having a great experience with it. Now I have installed the update and the ads are back and worse than ever. They’re the horrible pop-up ones. Shopping for a new app.

Awesome app. If your patient enough to wait 5 seconds for ads for complete to X them out, this totally free app works excellent for Slavic translation.I use it often to talk with the Russian Homeless people in my community. A big thumbs up.

Translates great. Light on features, in particular the ability to edit your work.. That said, the multiple options and speech is exceptional value. The text editor needs improvement, translation excellent.

Way too many advertisements on this app. This app has way too many advertisements and attempts to get us to buy extra stuff. It is very cumbersome because of this

Better than Google Translate. This app is better than Google Translate. Not only does it give the word and pronunciation, it also gives example sentences.

Amazing app for learning Russian words!. This app is perfect never had any problems.

Worst app ever. Don’t waste your time. Yes, you get the translation but the ads are too much. They get in the way all the time. Ad videos pop up every minute. And anything you do (press to listen to how a word is pronounced, typing a new word, etc.) it pops up again! Even while just typing 1-3 letters (not even pressing ‘enter’ yet) and it asks multiple time “translate from English to russian or Russian to English” and since I’m not done typing, the word gets autocorrected and I have to RETYPE the whole word just to have the stupid box interrupt my typing again. I probably spend only 10% of my time on the app looking up words and the other 90% of the time I’m pressing out of pop ups and ads. Don’t waste your time with this app. Just use google translate. I don’t understand how this app has so many positive reviews. Probably fake.

Good offline app. Needs one improvement. When I search for the translation of a word, please provide a Russian voice recording of that word by itself. It’s very helpful to have several sentences in which the word is used, but I also need the word by itself. Other than that, it was very helpful to have an offline resource handy. Spasiba!

Seemed OK until bombarded with ads. At first opening and use of the app, it showed a lot of info, including many different ways to translate a word. Audio files to support you on your listening skills and how it can be pronounced naturally. But as soon as you enter a word, it shotgun-bursts you in the face with a loud-playing app. Defeats the purpose of an offline, free dictionary. Don’t get me wrong, I know the Ad Game and how these free apps make money. I wouldn’t have minded advert banners all day long. But a pop up ad for basic use (single-word search)? Nah.

Reliable translator. I really like this app and use it often to translate to Russian. Almost always satisfied with choice of translation and examples it provides.

my favorite. my favorite english-russian dictionary. has pronunciations, easy to use, offline ability. very good. lots of ads but if you pay $20 one time they go away forever which i think is very reasonable for such a useful dictionary.

Your wish I never had this is complete crap. You keep pushing advertisements right in the middle of translations that I need to do so congratulations you have a horrible program that is littered with advertisements that prevent me from doing what I wanna do so I will not be using your program and I will not be giving you my money

Very useful and helpful. I am a native Russian speaker, an English learner. Lately started reading John Updike’s stories. Almost every time I encounter an unfamiliar word, the translator helps me out. Sometimes it fails so I need to turn to a different source, but it happens really infrequently.

Too many ads. Constantly prompted for ads, really not happy about that. Trying to translate something and it would interrupt me for an ad. Uninstalled :/

AMAZING APP - so much value is in this one app.. There’s a lot in this app that I learn from. I definitely recommend paying $20 for the full premium version. Totally worth it.

Russian Translator. This might be to early but system is asking for a review, the system shots off after a few sentences, I just deleted it and I'm planing to reload, but I have not been able to translate any letter complete yet, There is no amount of words limit to tell us if there is a limit Any way that is my experience with the app so far Will let you know if it works

Littered with ads. Tried to look up definitions for the two words I wanted to know, was constantly interrupted by fullscreen ads to the point it was barely usable. Uninstalled immediately

This Is Very Useful For Russian Learners. This app is very good for learning new words and phrases. In just a couple of minutes, I have learned multiple different useful words and phrases that I could use in everyday life. If you want to learn Russian, then this is an app for you!

Brilliant software with a steep learning curve. Pain in the neck to figure out how to use I couldn’t find the switch to swap between recording Russian and English because I wasn’t looking at the bottom.

Great app, one annoying bug. Overall I love the app and it’s been very useful in my studies. However, it gets very annoying that when searching a conjugated Russian word it frequently has no translation when the first letter is capitalized. For example, the word Спорте has no translation. Change it to спорте and it has no problem. This results in a lot of frustration when plugging in unrecognized Russian words encountered without context. I wish the app was programmed to not be case sensitive. But again, overall it’s an amazing app.

To many adds. Difficult to get result when you really need it. Don’t like it at all. There are plenty other translator that have adds on banner, but full screen.

Review. The dictionary is somewhat incomplete. Only the basic vocab is here, not a complete dictionary. Not ideal if you want to use for reading, although it is convenient. Only gives one direct translation per word, no dictionary definition in Russian or alternate meanings, making it inferior to free translation apps. Only 2 stars due to offline feature.

Solid app. This is the only R-E E-R app I recommend to my students. It delivers consistently and the audio feature is useful.

Amazing App. This app is different from others, as I’ve found that it provides you with 100% accuracy. I am learning to speak Russian. I am a native English speaker. When I’ve used other apps for translations, there has always been some discrepancy. My Russian colleagues always say it sounds perfect when I speak Russian to them, and the grammar is on point as well!

It’s okay. The app is not too bad. It has helped me out a lot and i would recommend it to others but the audio play back is so animatronic sounding it’s next to impossible some times to understand the proper enunciation of words and or phrases.

Easy to use and very useful app!. I love this app, and even though I speak a beginner's level of Russian language, my limited vocabulary gets me 'Stuck' sometimes. This Russian Translation program is simple to use, Fast, and seems accurate. I also appreciate the suggested related phrases that are provided with each query.

Super useful offline. Used this a ton in Russia. It's saved me money while negotiating and it's saved me tons of time. Wish there was a way to go from Russian to english so I could hand my phone to a Russian and they could type what they're saying and give it back to me and I could read it in english. But that's a less frequent need.

Versatile. Look up a phrase or just words. Listen to how to pronounce it via recording, and BANG! you're speaking Russian. Well, sort of haha. This has proven to be indispensable. Three stars because of the ads.

Excellent. I especially appreciate how examples of uses of the word or expression are given. That is really the only way to understand a word or expression.

Great application. Even its offline version comes in handy. I used it a lot during my trip to Russia and it really helped me get around.

Best Translator I've Found. Of all the translation apps I've used, this one is by far the best. So far, I've found it to be spot on accurate. The lists of "similar phrases" really sets it apart. I like to scroll down and read them as some of them are damned funny. This app is so good, I went ahead and paid for the pro version. Anyone needing to translate to or from Russian/ English should definitely get this app.

Really Useful!. I'm an American learning Russian and this app has helped me a LOT. I used to use only Google Translate for vocabulary help, but that led to the more complex meanings and connotations being lost on me. By looking at the many examples provided by this app, it's MUCH easier to determine the precise meanings of words that may be more specialized than their English "counterparts," as well as determining the connotative and denotative differences between near-similes. I use this app all the time! A few minor gripes: (1) While the app dependably shows the more common words, archaic/specialized words are often short on examples or simply don't have entries. (2) Pretty please could we get stress markings? 😊 It'd be nice to not have to look on Викисловарь for pronunciation help. Overall, excellent app. Thank you for making it!

The greatest innovation in language learning yet!. I discovered this app quite by accident while looking for the usual Russian/English dictionary. What I found was simply a game changer for my study of Russian. Instead of typing in a word and merely receiving a brief translation, you get a list of phrases covering different shades of meaning. And you can even hear the phrase spoken by native Russian speakers. Simply fabulous. If you're serious about learning Russian you can't do without this.

Ads ruin otherwise decent app. This app has its merits--decent translations, example sentences, etc. I'd give it 4-5 stars were it not for the extremely frequent and disruptive advertisements. They are excessive and make this app far less useful to me. I wouldn't mind some small, unobtrusive ads that don't prevent me from getting stuff done, but as it is now, I'm guess I'm going to just delete this and try something else.

Extremely Useful. I have just started learning Russian, and I truly love it. I find this app to be very helpful in translating from one language to the other. The audio is also very helpful in learning how to pronounce words. My one wish would be that I could vary the speed and slow it down at times so that I can learn and understand the pronunciation more accurately.
