Quality dictionary. This is the best app I’ve encountered for improving my Spanish. It’s bidirectional between the two languages and includes both slang and formal words. It’s very complete. Great app helps me teach my daughter Spanish. I grew up learning Spanglish, first language English. Now that I have a child I need to practice more since where I live no one uses Spanish. So I am teaching her and when I get stuck I can look up words. This is an awesome app. Thank you soo much I love that you can look up in both languages and that it also says the word because that’s sometimes where I get stuck. Hopefully my daughter will be bilingual or at least can understand both.

Software Issue. Need to update to make it compatible with Apple’s latest software release. Other than this issue, I like the application. Really like this application as it is helpful as an aid in learning Spanish.

Great dictionary. It's a good reference to have when teaching yourself Spanish. You can type in phrases and have a translation ready for you with multiple variations and vocab.

5.. this is legitimately an app deserving of five stars, it works as an english to spanish/spanish to english dictionary as it says but its much more functional than just a dictionary. the fact that i can convert entire sentences back and forth between the two languages is amazing. no complaints.

¡Estupendo! 👋 Super handy! More up to date than most, especially the DRAE.. This is extremely useful, even for a bilingual person like myself. It’s better than carrying the heavyweight gold standard Velazquez “A New Pronouncing Dictionary of the Spanish and English Languages”. I use this almost every day. Easy and fast. Also, it is more nimble in keeping up with newer uses if words in the technological arena and in social media. In addition, the academic dictionaries such ad DRAE are sometimes a bit censored. Por ejemplo, la palabra “escatologico” en DRAE se referiere solamente a teología, a pesar wue “scatos” en griego es las heces. En ESTE diccionario te indican que también significa una preocupación con la función eliminatoria y sus productos. Por eso casi siempre termino buscando en este diccionario, ademas de que traduce de un idioma al otro.

Like App but word reminder option annoying. Word reminder is a good concept in that the app pulls up words you have searched to see if you remember them. Annoying part is that it’s at 6 AM and 11PM EST with no ability to change these times.

Spanish Dictionary. This program gives pronunciation and meaning. I use it along with Bible study , Reina Valera edition. I am seeing some more difficult words I believe. This app hasn't failed me yet. 5 stars.

Excellent!. Have been using Dictionary Box for a few weeks now and find it easy to use and quite efficient. No having to switch back and forth between the two languages before entering a word because the app automatically detects the language and translates accordingly. Word results include definitions in both languages, as well as links to other dictionaries and sources for further research. All this offline and for free! Curious to check out the premium upgrade, but highly satisfied with the basic version. Kudos!

Spanish Dictionary. Great for looking up words easily, a lot of other services will simply give you one translation of a word however this app allows you to put words in the correct context and gives you multiple different verbs and nouns and phrases to ensure you are saying what you want to in context correct and also according to what region to Spanish dialect you are looking to speak from.

Great tool. I have been learning Spanish and this is fantastic to figure out words AND phrases which are useful in speaking. I also love the conjugation section which is really helping me to improve my grammar. I use the word reminders too and this helps reinforce what I have looked up. Great app!

Yes, this is the one you want. Intuitive interface, robust & powerful. I downloaded & ignored this app for weeks while I looked at more expensive options. Finally, I started using Dict Box & can’t believe I waited so long. The cost is minimal compared to other apps & it does everything I need it to do. Get it & enjoy!

Spanish app. This App is great for those of you who understand more English than Spanish. A lot of words are pronounced in this app but this only works when you have internet access. But you can still use this app without internet connection. It’s great definitely recommend!

Fantastic!. I’ve been using this app as a reference point as I work on improving my Spanish and it’s truly fantastic. It offers several different dictionaries for a given word (including the hard-to-find Spanish/Spanish), grasps different conjugations, and provides pronunciation. I haven’t even gone beyond basic use and already I’m in love. I’m definitely making this app central to my learning and development every step of the way!

Helpful in building vocabulary. Dictbox accesses several sources for translation. I particularly like the flashcard feature.

Insane amount of functions, and it's free!?. List of great uses: Pronunciations of any Spanish word, synonyms of any Spanish word, provides words in a sentence for every definition, lightning fast answers, minimal to no bugs! I love this app! 😊

Fast and complete. This the most comprehensive Spanish dictionary app I ever seen. It is well designed and implemented!

Best Dictionary. Probably the best foreign language to English dictionary I’ve used! I really like how it automatically searches for and displays the word that I have copied - no hitting the search icon, deleting the previous word, and pasting! I like that you can search for a conjugated verb, and it will automatically give you the infinitive and nouns or adjectives based on that verb. I really like the flash card function too. Things to improve: provide conjugation tables, and make the flash card portion of the app able to display either “side” of the card first.

Excellent Free Translation App. Excellent translation app that is easy to navigate, free, and has 750K words and expressions. The expressions are helpful for understanding the context and meaning of words. A bonus is the ability to tap on words to view pop-up definitions for better understanding.

The best for vocabulary building. As I'm learning new spanish words daily, I add them in a custom-made category, i.e. verbos, palabras de la comida, palabras del cuerpo, etc. over time I can go back and review to reinforce these words into my long term memory.

Quinones. I am really glad I downloaded this dictionary app. It helps to enhance my Spanish language and vocabulary words. I use it to pronounce English words properly. A must have!!!!! Thank you

It charged us $32 dollars without asking. My Spanish teacher asked us to get this app instead of using google and it works okkkkk but earlier today my mom asked if I "bought" a Spanish app and I said I got one a few weeks ago cause my teacher asked us to and she said it charged her account $32!!!! The best. I love this app. I downloaded the Spanish and Italian. I used it while traveling ant it always helped me to express myself and helped me with words I did not know. A great tool to have for traveling and for learning.

Spanish word of the day- Bueno!. I really like this dictionary. It has all the words, phrases, examples, etc. that I need to go through a Spanish book that I'm trying to read - the 400 year old amazing story of Don Quixote; one of the best stories ever written. And naturally, I wanted to read this in its original language after enjoying it in English. This dictionary has been helping immensely! I also like the daily "word of the day" practice options this has, which helps me to continue to refresh and practice the Spanish words I searched for on a daily basis.

This application is extremely effective in helping with memorization with the frequent and random notifications. Better than Google Translate. Has actual Spanish dictionary entries alongside translation dictionary entries.

Quick and comprehensive. This dictionary has everything! Meanings, voice pronunciations, for individual words and combinations ( e.g. launder (clothes) as well as launder (money), and grammar. You can enter your question/word in Spanish or English - it figures out which, unlike other dictionaries where first you indicate whether you are asking English to Spanish, or Spanish to English. And I have not yet run into a question/word it could not translate. I love it!

Expand flash card capabilities please!. I love this app!! My only complaint is that for the flash cards it is difficult to switch the direction of Spanish to English to English to Spanish. I can now recognize and define Spanish words in English, but I can not conjure the Spanish word from an English definition. I hope that makes sense!

Best English Spanish Dictionary Ever. Before iPhones and tablets, I had several of those palm-size electronic translator/dictionaries that I found extremely useful but none of them came anywhere near to what this App does. Congratulations and thanks for developing this powerful tool.

4 stars only.... Only because of the ads that keep popping up and I get that with free apps this is the downside. I love you can highlight individual words and there are the pronunciation for them. Offline version would be fantastic. I use this app all the time tho for my language learning tool

Best free Eng-Portuguese dictionary!. I love how this app never failed me on finding word translations from english to potuguese, and vice versa. Although writing the article 'a' or 'o' (feminine or masculine) before a portuguese noun will surely be a great addition.

Too bright, this hurts eyes. The background is all white, not good for us with limited vision. We need white font on black to be able to read. This app offers no option for dark mode

Useful but…. Too many ads. Ads get in the way of when I need to look up a word quickly for my work.

Spanish learner. The biggest flaw is not identifying each noun’s gender. Otherwise excellent.
