My Son The Composer!!. We received this app for free from Starbucks, and THANK YOU STARBUCKS!!! My 3 year old is writing music, and he doesn't even know it! Let me tell you something else, my husband & I have both caught the other playing gleefully with the animals to create a song! Great colors, great graphics, great sound, it's a total win!

Good when it works. I got this app on iPad after reading a magazine article. It was fun, and the kids liked it - my husband, a drummer, appreciated the way it approached tone and rhythm. But it crashed more than it worked, and when we downloaded it on our Apple TV, it has forced us to complete endless rhythm cycles before accessing the "compose" feature. The kids kept saying "let's go to the castle!" (The compose feature) But it would never appear.

Great app. My six year old son loved this app FIVE STARS!!

Fantastic App for students. Easy music is a great app to train the student's ear. In a bilingual/ International school it makes perfect sense to introduce music like a language and get the ear use to another variety of sounds. Easy music has an easy access and provides a window for learning differently. Students like it a lot, big hit !

Great app - couple minor tweaks requested. This is a great app. I played all the modules and found it well done, well sequenced, and highly engaging. As a music teacher, the only small but significant changes I would request are to the Whale module, which has a great concept. I would love it even more if the stalks were spaced to consistently reflect the intervals between the pitches. I appreciate that attention was given to the vertical proportions - I would like to see the same attention applied to the horizontal proportions: 1/2 steps between steps 3 and 4, and between 7 and 8. It would also help with spatial reasoning if the stalk for each pitch always appeared in the same place, with gaps for pitches not in use at any given level. Further, if you could mirror what you did with the piano module and use the Boomwhacker colors for the stalks (C = Do = Red; D = Re = Orange, etc), it would provide an additional level of reinforcement and consistency.

An awesome app!. I babysit kids of all ages, and I love getting them interested in music -- this app is perfect for that. I recommend this app to anyone and everyone with kids who wants them to be interested by and love music.

Impressive. This is a good way to be using music! I loved it. But the reason I put 4 stars was because sometimes when you press the castle and then you was to get out it freeze

Great and super cute app !. Just bought this app for my son who has cochlear implants (hearing aids), it is a nice way for him to focus and "work" on sounds in a playful way. Great app for every kids. A modern version of my childhood game "Simon". Love it already !

Easy Music!!. This app is incredible for helping children learn music at a young age! It is super easy to use and keeps children engaged at all times. I believe that when kids are at a young age they tend to soak up the most information. So introducing them to this app will allow them to begin there musical education. I am very impressed with this app and highly recommend it!

Great app!!. What a creative approach for teaching music the children! I was one of those kids that learned to play music by reading it from the page. It has taken me a long time to learn to play by ear and it has served me extremely well. I hope many children will benefit from this app. And it is certainly not only for children!

Not so much. Definitely not user friendly. I spent several tries getting used to this, hoping it would be good for my grand babies. They're very smart, but I think it would take awhile for them to get any enjoyment out of this.

Rhythmically laggy. Significant lag between touch and sound on y Ipad air 2. This makes the instruments less than fun to play.

Does not support iOS 7. Nuff said

Can someone please contact me for support!. The app is great but every time I try to add another child the whole app crashes. I’ve tried to reinstall and send an email for support but no one has contacted me back. I want to use it but at this rate it’s a waste of money.

Efficace et complet. En tant que prof de musique, j'ai trouvé l'application très adaptée aux plus jeunes. La progression est très bien nivelée, touche à tous les concepts fondamentaux et arrive à transmettre l'amour de la musique sans s'encombrer de théorie trop hermétique lorsqu'on s'adresse aux bambins. Love It!. Need I say more. My boys love this app. It teaches them music by simply listening. By listening to the beats, they repeat what they heard. Memory based approach to learning music. I am a musician, composer and arranger from Canada and i bought this app for teaching kids about basic concepts in music. This is very much like playing the board game "Memory", but in a novel way...It's great for training short term memory and improving attention spans, because it includes a splendid auditive component. The GUI is very slick with cute vector graphics, very imaginative in combining visuals with fun sounds and musical concepts. This is great for tuning kids into musical development and recognition. It will help them learn how to focus while challenging them and arousing their curiosity. I'm excited about getting kids involved in this app. Music has the power to uplift and save lives and this is one way of getting there. Congrats to the developers, whoever you are!
