Modules. The app is great and all, but can I use modules and if I can, what are they?

Pip Install. I like the app. I've been using this for quite some time now. I believe adding the ability to download a new module for the users that paid. I'm not fully aware of what I'm paying for anyway. I would like the ability to browse through folders on my phone instead of a standalone directory. Meaning, save the file to OneDrive, etc. I would like it if the app was capable of creating folders instead because I have to download copy and paste every file of every module that isn't on this app.

Python 2.7 is EOL, iOS app will be too!. Python2 is becoming EOL, app developer needs to make a new iOS app that supports Python3.

Needs modules. I love this app. I've been using it while away from computers to work on parts of programs. The only problem I have with it is it needs more of the default modules like random. In my current program I am using randint a lot and it's not available here.

Why?. The app is okay, it runs Python, it creates files... oh wait! All my files are called “noname” because the WORST possible feature was chosen to put behind a paywall: naming files... why...?

Actually Pretty Decent! 👍. It runs offline, which is good. It also runs properly! It just needs a way to make the Output Screen bigger than just half the page I would recommend tho! 👍👍👍🐉

Don’t bother. This app can’t even handle the simplest of code. Gathering user information through the input function is elementary school level programming, yet this app can’t handle it. It will automatically generate an undefined error for user input. The exact code used works perfectly on a real IDE. It’s a great concept, but one that needs a ton of work before it could ever be considered a great app.

Pretty good. But there’s a bug where which any integer divided by a bigger integer returns 0. The work around is to make one of the numbers a float.

Good, but lazy dev. Seriously? I had to fix a simple mistake in one of the presets. To be specific, the input name one. I changed it to: name = raw_input("What's your name?\n") print 'Hello '+name

Mostly great.... I like using Python. There’s just some things not included with this package. The Python Turtle DOES NOT WORK on this IOS edition of Python. Please add this!

So close!. This app works great for just line by line coding and for experimenting by beginners. However, I was unable to execute an input or create a function, as both resulted in an error. This app is a very near miss. With a little fixing, it would work great.

Works pretty well. This is the best Python 2.7 interpreter and it is free. Thanks for the awesome app.

Good App. Works well but it doesn't say what you get for paying for the unlock all functions

Some flaws. I think that the app is great but could use directories and deleting files. Also I had noticed one bug where the editor would sometimes crash when I tap the hash button on the keyboard shortcuts for symbols. Other than those the app is amazing.

Gives a syntax error for end = “ “. The app throws a syntax error for the line of code print(i, end=" ")

Great except input. Exactly what I needed to get me coding instead of playing games on my phone. I was having some trouble with input() where the only input that wouldn’t error is numbers, but figured out that ‘’ (two single quotes) also works and is distinguishable from the numbers. Now I can ask for input, with the specific instructions that ‘’ means no and any numeral means no.

Pretty good!. I love this app I think it would be especially useful to beggars and even expert developers! There is only two thing that I will warn you on, do NOT buy the 0.99 get more thing it does not do anything. The second thing, if your a beginner coder make sure you add .py to the end of you file names otherwise the go bye. ;)

Needs a fix. Sometimes when I code it says there is a syntax error on a line that nothing is on.

Works great on iPhone 5c. Problem on 5th generation iPod Touch.

No raw input?. So far i cant put in a raw input

Does the job. This app is very simple and easy to use. Don't expect anything fancy.

Good. FYI, Python 2.something, not 3. In some ways, I like the way this app works better than Pythonista. I was a little confused why things were not working the way I expected, then I realized this isn’t Python 3. Now it’s fun to compare how stuff works between 2 & 3.

Add directories. Add the ability to make files so everything isn’t cluttered in just one file unless this is a boundary of porting python to iOS if that’s the case just have the app automatically import the program used to execute the .py files I would assume this isn’t the case since that doesn’t pop up in the directory itself. But the ability to organize files into other directories would be very helpful other than that the app is great and has helped me learn python anywhere I want even away from my computer 9.7/10

Broken on iPod 5th. I launched the app and there was instantly a black screen. Input did not do anything. Kinda disappointed as there were good reviews here.

Works great!. Works great, love it! I do wish though, that they could add the random module.

App is fine, the purchase is not. The app itself works fine and is useful. What I have an issue with is the .99 cents to unlock all features that doesn’t actually unlock anything at all. That part feels like a scam, don’t bother.

Nice. Is there a way to increase the font size?

CAPS CAPS CAPS 😥. Works great for about 10 minutes, then you realize that every new string you start is automatically and FULLY capitalized. You are constantly having to turn off capitalizationon the keyboard. When you forget, then you are retyping. Very frustrating. I will be buying a full fledged python app to avoid this problem.

Q: why cannot I import NumPy?. Why does it not allow to import NumPy, let alone other libraries?

Input is weird. When you input text into the shell you have put quotation marks around it.

Blank screen. Don't buy if you have a generation 5 iPod touch

You guys can’t implement a tab button?. Do I really need to hit the space bar 4 times every time?

Ipod 5 fail. App does not work on iPod 5 but Python 2.5 does work and is very similar to iPhone 6 with Python 2.7 ( witch is what I wish I had ) but I hope this problem is fixed soon

Good enough, unreliable. I had just finished writing my (thankfully simple) program. I decided it was worth the 99 cents to finally upgrade, cancelled momentarily bc i didnt want to get up for my card. I reopen the app and my program isnt opening

Used to be decent. This was great when it was totally free. I used it often to test algorithms and make calculators. While it doesn’t support many python libraries it was still useful. However, the developer released an update that required a purchase to use all the features. After that, I just decided to buy Pythonista since it supports all the python libraries and some popular third party ones as well. I liked this app a lot before the developer charged money for the use of features that were free before.

How to add Numpy library?. Could you tell me how to add numpy library?

Works nice!. You can trust it for console applications needing basic input/output. The only problem i faced was with the sys.exit() method which caused the IDE to quit immediately. Rest, works flawlessly.

It’s good if your a beginner. If you are just starting off in python, I recommend this! But for someone who is looking for a way to write code “on the go” it’s not that good, My main nitpick about it is that you can’t run ‘else’ commands.

Python. I like to use Python because it when you compare it to JavaScript and C++ I feel like its shorter than them. Love this app.

It’s an app…what can you expect. At best I can write “Hello World”. Cool. Lame. It crashes when I do anything interesting at all.

Better than expected. Surprisingly complete for a mobile python interpreter. Before complaining about missing functions, etc. check the version. This is python 2.7 which is still strongly supported. Some of the functions and syntax are different from python 3 (and it's definitely not Java), but it works exactly as a python 2.7 interpreter should. The app does support raw_input. This is the best mobile version of python that I've found and it's free.

No print() by default but good!. I really enjoy this app. It's quite useful to teach with on iOS. The only downfall is the results of your work won't print to the terminal by default and needs to be manually called by the print() function. If I were to type... >>>>X = 15 >>>>Y = 3 >>>>X ** Y ...nothing would be returned by default! Need to type... >>>>print(X **Y) ...and so on. That's the only reason it lost a star because even I forget this sometimes and need to either copy and paste my complex equations or write them out again. Otherwise a simple and beautiful app. It's import p ability works a charm. Can't import external modules; but that's to be expected.

The strings do not work. Only the calculator coding worked but not the surveying do not download!

Tkinter. Better than the paid python apps. Some modules do not workout it needs tkinter desperately for canvas and buttons, especially with input not working.

It almost works!. Not all the modules in the standard library work, such as random. Otherwise, great app, clear and concise. Enjoyable to use!

It works!. And it's free! One problem though: the first line in the editor is way too close to the back button. I keep hitting it and going to the file screen.

Useless. After update can't run even simple code.

Doesn’t work. I can’t even import a turtle. My code was from turtle import Turtle It said that there was no mousse named turtle. There is a turtle in python.

Simple. I feel like doing any programming on a phone without like a Bluetooth keyboard due to limited screen size, but this app keeps it simple and gives what you need. Before buying the in app purchase it would be nice to give more information. Also, a feature that I am using with a project that I downloaded is the ability is import other scripts. For example, if you have the main.py script and have foo.py that has functions or variables or whatever, you can use 'import foo' to get all the functions. It was giving me an error that there's no module with the name even though the script is in the folder. I'm assuming they're in separate folders in the storage for the app? Also, being able to interact with the Files app or adding documents when plugging in to a computer/using iTunes would be amazing. There's a TestFlight app called iSH (Linux shell emulator that you can install if you Google the site) that I have and I used wget to download the files from the website I am working from and was able to open the scripts in Files to copy the code to the app. You could also plug it into a computer and directly copy scripts to/from the phone. Other than these things, I feel like it's a good app, and is simple and does what it needs. I'll probably be using it a lot more!

Great app!. This app works well for testing Python scripts on the go. You can create a fully runnable Python.py file or simply run a script from the command line. I recommend downloading the DevKey keyboard too if you don't have a Bluetooth keyboard because it will save you a lot of headache when trying to input scripts from your iPhone or iPad.

Will not show results. Whenever I write code with this, it will show me errors, but will not show me my results. Also - When I click on app support here in the App Store, it takes me to a broken facebook page.
