App crashing, Video pausing while sound continues. I’ve had this app since the middle of the 2020 season and now all of a sudden it starts crashing. A literally just watched a replay of fever’s round 5, now trying to view the ladder, and it just keeps crashing. I restarted my phone and even changed data source and it’s happening still. Like WTH! Video pauses while sound continues and I have to restart the game many times.

No World Cup live games or replays. Was hoping this app would be a one stop shop

A little disappointing. I pay for the app as I’m not a Telstra customer and overall it’s a reasonable app. But this season I’m having trouble Chromecast. I have 2 TVs both with chromecast. I can stream live to both Chromecast but when I want to watch a replay I can only watch on one tv. Both Chromecast are identified on the device but regardless the stream only goes to one tv. Which is incredibly frustrating. I see others are having similar issues. And worse when I tried to log an issue through CrowdSupport in the app I have to log in as a Telstra customer?!? I’m paying for the app and yet I can’t log an issue. A few other issues as well: - freezes often - even when I’ve selected scores are hidden, news articles of results on the home screen often give away results. Annoying when you want to watch replays - Players bios either don’t exist or are out of date

Ok. Right now I’m in a death spiral with this app, It won’t let me use it until I upgrade, I upgrade, but the banner telling me to upgrade still won’t go away and so I can’t use the app. Sigh. Example of where this app is not as professional as others. Having said that, otherwise I find it easy enough to use and love that I can watch games whenever I want. A good feature is it enables you to block scores. I do have an issue projecting it to my TV, maybe bandwidth issue rather than app issue tho.

could you make it free?. so I’m not with Telstra so I’d have to pay but it’s quite pricey from what I see on my screen but I mainly use it for the ladder and when upcoming games are coming so it’s not too bad but could you make it free or at least cheaper?

App Issues. The app often kicks me out when streaming a live game to the TV. Then when I restart, it starts playing the previous game and takes 4-5 attempts to get back onto the live game which often wastes 5+ minutes of the game time.

Needs an auto resume. Needs to auto resume like all other video apps. It’s annoying that if you leave the app, even by accident, it goes back to the start and you have to try use the scrobble bar (which is terrible) to get back to where you left it. Needs to be able to resume play from where you left it.

Don’t bother paying. Have had so much trouble firstly streaming live games & now can not sync to Apple TV whereas last season I was able to easily. I’ve spent over a week back & forth to support & still nothing has been done to rectify. Can’t believe how poor this app is for the amount paid. Don’t bother trying to watch live. I’d rather wait until games are uploaded on channel 9 app. Appallingly bad.

Can’t watch games live. No idea if it’s because of a new update or not. But I can’t get the games to play live. I just keep getting a little information box saying ‘Server Error. Video is temporarily unavailable’. Which is rather annoying given I have paid for an annual subscription in order to be able to watch games live! Please fix this ASAP

Good to start. Was good to start, was able to connect to Apple TV to be able to watch with family. But it appears that this option has been taken off ! Can do the general screen mirroring but with no sound! Disappointing

Subscription. I have paid for the yearly subscription but I login to the app and it says I have to restore which I click on and then I am charged the weekly subscription as well this has been happening for months very frustrating When I want to watch I game I don’t have time to see if I’m being double charged Please fix it

Appreciation. I’m a Telstra customer and hugely grateful to have this app, data free, it has been brilliant, easy to use and I’m very appreciative. I was disappointed however not being able to get replays of some games this year 2020.

Updates. Why can't I update my netball live app.?So disappointed I am a pensioner and it seams I need to buy another I Pad to get my netball app back which I cannot do .This is an absolute rip off as there is not a thing wrong with my I Pad .post script I have tried to update again with no success and have been told My I pad is out of date .So disgusted.

Not working. Error when opening app, try to watch live game and indicate I’m a telstra mobile customer, app Identify’s I’m I telstra customer and that my live pass is active but doesn’t give me any option but to cancel. Navigate back and error message again about not able to retrieve subscription details. Would never see this with men’s sport!!

Gutted. Unfortunately I’m not with Telstra, which means I am unable to watch any of the games live without paying money. I am very devastated that the app thought it appropriate to have people pay to watch when most other sport apps do not cost anything at all! Netball is supposed to be expanding however this app is merely limiting the amount of supporters. I was so excited last week when I heard on the TV that I could watch the game on netball live. I quickly downloaded the app, only to find I had to pay money. As I haven’t even started my first job yet and am currently trying to save up I was unable to spend it on this app. I believe that when I say this I stand for all the other young supporters and audience out there who don’t have Telstra and don’t have any iTunes cards, meaning that they would then have to use their parents credit cards but their parents tell them “No”. THIS APP SHOULD BE FREE NOT ONLY TO THOSE WITH TELSTRA BUT EVERYONE. Thankyou

Poorly designed application. The application is named ‘netball live’, however you cannot watch games live nor even immediately after the games are finished broadcasting on TV..? Absolutely ludicrous and it has me cancelling my subscription as I may as well record the broadcasted game and watch it at another time on the tv. Relating to the above, it also has disappointing qualities (or lack of) within the app. The app doesn’t even stream to a TV through any means. Who wants to sit and watch a full netball game on their small mobile device? It is unrealistic and inappropriately silly. If this application is designed and owned by Telstra, it’s leaves us with great doubt in one of the largest telecommunications companies in our country (nothing new for Telstra).

App updates. The app worked well for me for round 1 or the 2018 season. However, since the updates last week, my app now crashes a few seconds in each time I go to watch a match. So I can no longer view all the games, just the one I can record from the Saturday and Sunday. Extremely disappointing as I will now miss most of this seasons fixtures.

Netball Live App. I enjoy the information and ease of use of the app.. catching up on stats and the player profiles has been interesting. I hope the profiles will be updated particularly for the new players. We have enjoyed following their development this season. The link to the Diamonds is useful too. We have used the app while overseas and found it to be a great source. Robyn G

Not happy. App isn't working, saying it needs an update for me to watch games, come to the App Store to update and no update? It's a vicious circle, app sends me to App Store and App Store sends me back to app. I've reset my device, thinking that was the issue, it worked for about 2 minutes then back to the same issue.

Great content poor app. Great to be able to watch the content overseas but the app has so many glitches. I was able to chrome cast to our TV but now receive the error “playback network error”. App often crashes or displays blurry picture even when connected to good wifi. Hope they can improve app to build support for our teams!!

Disappointed. Since I am with Telstra internet, but not Telstra mobile to view this content I have to buy a subscription. But sadly this app is nowhere near worth paying for. You have no idea the frustration when you jump on to see if the game you are waiting for has been uploaded and the final scores are the first thing that loads on the page! Completely ruining the suspense of the game since you know the outcome. This app does not come with chromecast compatibility and therefore I can’t stream the games to the tv for my entire family to watch. It is also quite frustrating when the app crashes or you need to check something and have to exit out of the app, it does not remember where you were and starts the game from the beginning. Overall a very negative experience and I will be cancelling my subscription and waiting the extra time for the games to appear on the 9now app.

App still not working 🤦🏻‍♀️. My mobile is with Vodafone, the app doesn’t work on 4G. Every single time I open the app it tells me I’m not connected to the internet! You point me to a link on the Telstra website to lodge my query yet no clear instructions once on the page where to complain/put feedback. The chat function is a bot which is not going to help. It’s simple, fix the app so it works on networks like Vodafone 4G not just Telstra internet!!!

Netball live leaves a bit to be desired.. I love being able to watch the games but literally every time I open the app, I have to restore the purchase to be able to access the games. This happens on both my phone and my iPad. I also miss having the old games available to watch.

This is the best netball app ever. It is very insightful and easy to navigate. The live scores are almost exactly synced and the videos and articles are amazing. This app is sooooo good.

Why am I paying for this App?!?!?. Today’s game was played at 1pm yet 5.5hrs later- I still can’t watch the game via the app?! It will be available FREE on 9Now before it’s available on this app. 😡😡😡😡 Also, there is an option to hide scores yet you place ‘1st’ v ‘2nd’ which automatically tells me who wins before I can stream it!!!!! Not happy!!!!

Needs work. I hope I’m being constructive here - I use this mostly for match replays: When I open the app the first page gives me final score which I don’t want to see so I have to put my hand over the top of the screen. The pause button doesn’t work which is annoying. An airplay or chromecast button would be amazing so I could view it on a better size screen.

Great App, just little adjustments. I love this app! Always has the games up within 2 hours of the final whistle and connects to my tv via Chromecast! Cons: the logo on the bottom right is very annoying. It cuts off stats and info that pops up during the game. Can this please be moved to the top right? Also, it’s hard to go back to see something on the video due to no 10 second rewind button or other.

Only gets worse. App only seems to get worse with every update! Constantly crashes, I’ve lost the ability to cast to my TV in HD when the app was updated a couple of months ago, the resolution is so poor even with perfect internet. Now just when I was part way through watching the 2018 season which I never saw, I updated the app and none of those videos work!! Just fix it already PLEASE

:(. Games are not available to me. Videos say unavailable. I have a current subscription which comes up when I look at my account, have the latest IOS update, I’ve deleted the app and reinstalled a couple of times, and also logged out and back in, thinking this may help. I can’t find any online support to troubleshoot further.

Chrome cast not working. I am a Telstra mobile customer so I have access to the app. However I have been trying for an hour to chrome cast off it and it is not working. Just leaves me with a blank screen. What is the point of functionality if it does not work?

Spoiler alerts!. I don’t have a problem playing the videos (although it would be great to pick up where you left off if you need to and have a 30 second ‘replay’ option) but I get really frustrated when I want to watch a game and have spent hours avoiding socials so I don’t know the result then there it is in my face before I can get to the ‘watch replay’ option. Grrr

App issues. Overall the app is pretty good. I find that chromecast issues are constan. If the netball was not on channel 9 / 9now app I would have to watch it by holding my phone. Please look into chromsecast issues before the grandfinal. Apart from this the app has great features!

Live Games & Replay Games in App Not Working. I’ve used the Netball Live app for many years without any issues until the Quad Series - the app wouldn’t play any game replays so I missed the whole series. I’m a Telstra customer and contacted Telstra at the time who suggested to delete and reinstall the app, which I did however it didn’t fix the issue. Since then I have updated the phone software and done the app updates as required but missed the first games of the 2019 SSN season as I still can’t watch the games live on the app. Again, I contacted Telstra and they are aware of the issue and their work around is to factory restore your device. This is not a satisfactory work around, Telstra. So right now, the app is useless and can only be used for a score update. Not worth paying for this app!!! I don’t understand why this issue hasn’t been fixed when people (including myself) have been reporting these issues for over 3 months!!!

Makes viewing hard work. With the latest upgrade I am no longer given the option to cast from iPhone or iPad to my chromecast. Why? Am still able to do it from other apps. Then I caved and cast to Apple TV and what a nightmare. If the iPad goes to sleep the stream stops so I have to remember to tap the screen every few minutes. Please fix both of these issues

Great value. I think this app is great. I choose to pay the $30 annual fee which allows me access to all of the Suncorp super netball games as well as all the international games. What more could a girl want! I love that the app developers have listened to the customer and we are now are able to cast live games and replays instead of watching them from our phone or smaller devices. Well worth the money

OK but could be better. I fin the app generally works ok. I’ve used it in both the U.K. and Australia. However, it needs some updates (as others have mentioned): 1) be able to leave the app and return to the same place you left the game 2) a rewind button of at least 30 secs - netball is such a fast game you need to be able to rewind sometimes to catch the spectacular play!

Apple TV connect isn’t always there. Have already given feedback thinking that the ability to watch through Apple TV was removed. Apparently this is not the case but again today it does not appear as an option to stream through other devices. A glitch that becomes annoying when the family cannot gather around the small screen of the phone

Server error. Video is temporarily inaccessible Looking at blogs people have been experiencing this issue for months and nothing has been done. I had to pay for my subscription because I am not with Telstra and doesn’t work- I can only see the free to air info. Yes I have checked I am subscribed and on the latest version of everything. The support for the app requires that you log onto Telstra- rubbish- get it fixed Telstra

Frustrating. The app does not allow for casting to Google cast like list of other video apps allow. This means I have to sit in my lounge room watching games on my tiny phone when a have a perfectly good large TV sitting in front of me. It is also frustrating that it has to go through Telstra mobile and not Telstra internet as I have to switch wifi off on my phone and often forget to turn it back on again which wastes my data. You should allow free streaming if you are through Telstra broadband too!

Bring back the annual renewal option. Ok, the app is great, player lineup, replays, national and international Diamond matches available, and easy to access. However I’m cancelling my subscription until the annual option is returned. I love my netty, but now that you can only subscribe weekly or monthly, the prices are crazy. It’s cheaper to purchase 17 weekly subscriptions (14 normal games plus 3 weeks of finals) than it is to get 4 monthly subscriptions (~16 weeks) plus one week. I don’t think this change has been thought out well.

Paid for subscription but still catch watch the match soon after game finish. I have paid for the subscription but when I try to watch a game through the app not long after the game has finished, you can’t . I thought that’s what we were paying for. You should be able to watch a game no matter what. Waste of money .

DO. NOT. DOWNLOAD!. I downloaded this app and was so disappointed with all the purchases you have to make JUST TO WATCH THE FREAKING NETBALL! I was extremely unhappy. I think I should just be able to click on ‘Fever VS Giants’ and watch the whole thing from the beginning ON MY IPAD! Y’all think that I’m gonna pay my money for a NETBALL APP JUST TO WATCH THE LATEST MATCH!? No. Disappointed. I’d be surprised to find any rating over two stars here. If I could rate it 0, I would. But I can’t. I should leave a review in that as well...

Scores are revealed - and now it crashes. Scores for recent games are revealed the second you open the app. WHAT THE?! How silly?? Who designed this? Update! App now crashes when I try to hit ‘watch replay’ I want a refund - and when I select ‘app support’ it takes me to 404 error on the website.

Love the App - but stop upgrading versions!. (Had to buy a new iPad to keep watching, as the version was upgraded to a new version that was beyond my iPad’s capability. It took days of my time and numerous phone calls to work this issue out, but Apple told me in less than 5 minutes - “the new version of the app is now beyond your iPad’s ability to be upgraded to a version that is compatible with it”. And the iPad was less than 5 years old.....

Good. This app is good for seeing what time the matches are on and who is in what team but it would be better if you could see the positions they are playing and if you could replay the matches without having to pay.

Good app. I just got this app because I am a big netball fan and am hoping to become a better netball player. My coach suggested that I watch Thunderbirds and see what I pick up. I loved it. I don't really know entirely what the app is about but I am liking it so far.

Spoiler alert!. Love that the app has the ability to hide scores. However - little redundant when the news articles essentially give away who won. In terms of app performance - it does tend to crash and I have had instances where despite being a Telstra customer it struggles to verify my account. Usually have to delete the app and reinstall. Frustrating.

Crashing. I’ve been a member for the past couple of years but the last 2 months I’ve had trouble with this app crashing. I’ve deleted it and reinstalled it and still have the problem. Another fault is that when you close the app mid-way through watching he replay, the video starts again. Would be good if it would pick up where you left off. Otherwise, good app.

Love it and use it all the time. Great app - easy to navigate and I use it weekly. Well worth the small one off payment. Keep up the great work Netball Australia!

Is this a failing app on purpose so customers connect to Telstra?. If that’s the case, Netball Australia is going to lose a lot of viewers since every game is not televised. This app is horrible. I am a returning customer to the app, I am trying to log back in because I had to get a new phone. It keeps returning me to the purchase page. I have done all of that... I just want to login and use the app, which it will not allow me to do. Ideas?

Server error. Have a full annual subscription but since January have not been able to stream any matches, I thought that the issue would be sorted by the time the new season began but just tried to stream the latest game and the same server error message is coming up... have deleted and reinstalled the app, and when I click to renew the subscription it says I already have one... so many people complaining but what is being done about it??? Avoid purchasing

It’s a good start.... I think the app is generally good that you watch live games, it’s easy to navigate. I’m a Telstra customer so I get it free but understand that non Telstra customers would have to pay$30 annually if they want to be able to watch matches live. Improvements I’d like to see are: 1. If you’ve missed a match, replays should be available in less than an hour. Instead you can wait up to 4-5 hours (or longer) post the match. Not good enough for a big teleco to be that slow in loading a video 2. Scores are given away when you open the front screen. Again if you want to watch the match on delay most of the time you don’t want to know the score 3. Please make the ladder more prominent and not tucker away like it is 4. Improve the functionality on the Telstra TV, app keeps crashing and generally not working or when it does work it, it will jump you back got the opening netball screen.

THE WORST. Honestly the worst app - full of bugs, they miss all the interviews before and after and when watching replays they miss the breaks/huddles so you can’t hear what was said. They really haven’t thought this through at all. I also think it’s a stupid claim to say it’s “data free” - it’s not, you have to be a Telstra customer. The devs need to work over time on this app the bugs in its what 3rd year are just low-level. Can’t connect to TV when it’s live but can when it’s a reply 🙄🙄🙄
