White Noise app. I adore the White Noise app one of the few apps I purchased it is brilliant. So why now am I getting spammed on the market app? I cant seem to look for 5 seconds without being forced to watch 5 seconds of someone else's app I have no interest at all in. No one on planet Earth will never learn we despise being forced to do anything let alone view something we have zero interest in in hopes someone can make a nickel at the expense of my precious time…..glorious! I still adore White Noise best app ever but you can keep your spam filled market app. Why did I purchase an app just to get spammed in its companion app?

Sounds. I love this alot I keep using this for my alarm I love it so my I’m am giving y’all 5 stars

White noise. Greet ap! Really helps me get to sleep! Lots of sounds to choose from

If you lay down face up with low delta. Instantaneous sleeping! This helps me to lucid dream, dream easy when im nervous and get through long trips or just a couple hours. You can put minimum brightness and no internet and plug in your headphones. For me it lasts 2 % every hour. So yeah

You still have adverts even when you pay for it!. Yes, there are many great sounds. With a subscription you're still made to wait through an advert for EVERY sound you download, and if you do a search, every screen has an ad. Pretty dodgy! Obviously cancelled my sub.

Needs more ways to login.... This app is a fine one, BUT has one flaw in how it was designed - you are only given 2 choices: sign in using Facebook(which I don’t use... poor security, plus Facebook sells my personal info to advertisers, or Google (just as bad or worse on personal privacy than FB). How about logging in using our email, TMZOFT?

Overall. Put on headphones or earbuds... Turn on a soothing noise and make the world disappear for a while. Great for loud hotels.

Don’t want Facebook or google? Too bad. Couldn’t use because I don’t use either Facebook or Google. I understand it’s supposed to be a “social network” for sounds but I’m not sure why it requires sign in with the big two. Could there not be another option? One that doesn’t require signing in to anything or at least something operated by the developer instead? I’m guessing the developer doesn’t want to do any moderation in any capacity and login via G/F makes that possible.

Just what does this do?. With 3 apps from these people, all about sounds and all apps pretty much look the same. They all seem to do the same thing. I can not figure this out, what a waste.

Uploading sounds???. How the heck do you upload the sounds you’ve recorded on your phone? I know previously we were able to upload our own sounds into the market, but for the life of me, I can’t figure out how to do it now. I’ve even paid .99 for the one month just to see if that would open something up on the app. I can see that in the regular White Noise app that you can only record new sounds and can’t upload sound files you may have saved on your phone already. So frustrating and annoying, especially since this is an otherwise good app.

Great app. Such a wide variety of sounds makes this a fantastic app. The ability to record my own sounds is a great part of the app. I can't say enough good things.

Great app for sleep help. I love this app! I don't download everything that they offer, but I have found some really solid sounds and meditations that help me fall asleep.

From better sleep to a living nightmare. This is one of the most obtrusive apps I’ve ever used. The prices for subscription is exorbitant and the ads are full screen with no visible close button and popups…. Half of the sounds are clearly from people bragging about things they own or trips they’ve taken. Examples: Listen to mah automatic gunfire, my boat in key west on New Year’s Eve at midnight, the sound of my trip to this one hotel in this city at 3am; come on, these sounds aren’t there to help people sleep, and I have to wade through it all for the real white noise sounds, with ads forcing me to close and reopen the app every four sounds. What is this facebook now? What a nightmare. While White Noise is great; this is a pathetic cash grab. I am really disappointed in what this great app has become. Devs should be ashamed.

Needs improvement. I love white noise. I love the flexibility of importing sounds. However, in practice, marketplace loses my account at least a couple times a year, and the support staff is absolutely no help. I have to re-download most of my sounds when that happens. There is never anyway to tell how many sounds I am going to lose as a result of losing my account. If there is still some need to have two separate programs, fine. I have no clue what that could possibly be however. As it is, market is not a good market place. I sure hope it makes the company a ton of money.

Love app; got stuck in spam game. Love the app, use it for work and sleep. But “market” app got stuck in some spammy 1st person shooter game w no way to back out. Found no contact support on site (site not active). Had to delete and get app again.

Good app. You can find a wonderful meditation for just about anyone’s liking.

Ads plus account required. I already purchased the White Noise Pro but this download app has ads and requires you to sign in with social media account to not be limited in downloads and use most of the features. This is crap!

Soothing. I love the app, the ability to import other peoples recordings are an absolute plus! This has been my go to app for many years, keep it going!

An App With ADD. This app loads like a Blackberry app from 2005! Most of the time, it gets stuck loading pages. On the rare occasion a sound actually comes up, it gets stuck downloading the sound. It doesn't freeze, it just gives up.

Awesome App. My sister told me about both apps and even sent me some of the sounds she made herself.

This app is sooo great. I am enjoying this app so far and its a good app i like when i can put new sounds on white noise lite 🤩🤩🤩 but i dont want to be logged out and me have to redownload some of my sounds i downloaded thats what people is reporting but this app is a five star app to meeeee keep up the good work!😀

Why Does it Change My Settings?. I set auto play sounds off and it seems to keep changing my setting, not cool

Bring back grid view. Please bring back grid view. It made browsing sounds easier and enjoyable. The current scrolling approach is somewhat stressful.

Can’t upload my own sounds. I used to be able to upload my own sounds that I recorded with my own device. Now, it’s seems you can only record sounds in the app to upload for usage. That’s a shame because I have sounds captured, I’ll never be able to record again; I can’t go back to the place I captured them first. I’d love if someone from the company can tell me how to do this. All their support seems to be is an FAQ that’s not helpful, at all. I’d love to be able to email them or call for help.

Awesome sounds to Add!!. This is great! This app works with the White Noise app and is a great place to add new sounds to sleep, relax or even a sound that reminds you of home! I definitely recommend both apps!

Love it. I have a hard time sleeping and this helps. It doesn’t make me more tired it just makes it easier to sleep. If you’re wondering if you should get it, you should get it.

Great app!. All apps have their flaws, but the ones with White Noise Market are not too major. Mostly when I first got the app, I didn’t know I have to get the white noise one and then the market. In my opinion, I think it would be better if it was all in one place, but other than that, I like it.

Always use!. My family and I were camping near a family that brought their loud at 5AM new born baby. They didn't know how or try to stop the crying. I learned of this app and found my lovely headphones. It was tootles loud kid the rest of the week.

HORRIBLE!!!!!!!!!!. This has to be the most frustrating and disappointing app on any device. I’ve had the white noise app for a while and I love it. But the white noise market is the bane of my existence. I recently recorded bonfires and decided I’d like to upload. The only thing that I could find about uploads was in the subscription tab. So I paid the dollar to be able to upload. After paying I was not able to find any way to do so. I looked online multiple times and I have the support page memorized. To bad the page was no help. After trying/clicking everything I could on the app. I gave up. I went back to the support page to see how to get in contact with someone. I was sure it was user error. The only way to contact them is through sending feed back. I clicked the option and was told that I’d needed a verified email. Again it doesn’t tell you were or how to get email sent to verify. I went into my email and found the email verification from months ago. So now I can’t even tell them to burn the dollar I just paid. Now I’m out the dollar and more frustrated then when I first started. TLDR: paid for a subscription not able to upload sounds or speak to anyone regarding the issue.

Requires signing into Facebook or Google. This app appears to require you to become a member of Facebook (we know what happens to your private information on Facebook!) or to sign onto Google. Google states that they want you to sign in for the purpose of “sharing information about you”. I love the previews of many of the sounds, but I will not sacrifice my privacy and leave myself open to the information pirates. Therefore, I am deleting this app.

One of my favorite apps!. I had several apps for nature sounds, ambient noise, etc., and this replaced them all!

Been using it for a decade. I had the White Noise app and White Noise Market app since the iPhone 4. It has remained the same mostly and it is very simple and doesn’t take up a lot of RAM or storage space (unless you download a lot of sounds). Though I wish there was an option to upload sounds instead of recording a sound from the app.

Love this app!. Omg! Now I can upload my own sounds I made in the White Noise App to the market??! That's crazy cool. Being able to share sounds from the world with the world is just a really fun concept. This is still my go-to when I'm looking for a new sound to add to the night-time repertoire! Awesome job!

365 days of sound sleep and counting. This is the best app I have found. It’s super easy to download new sounds and mix them to make the perfect blend send you straight to La La Land. I’ve recommend it to friends and family, some of whom have also downloaded it and enjoy it as much as I do. Can’t say enough about this awesome, easy, free app!

Can’t connect thru Google anymore. Working fine and 5 stars until IOS 12. Now can’t sign in with Google anymore and can’t download more than a few sounds. Not happy as I use this nightly.

Once I worked out the search function. everything just got soooo much easier. Also you have to sign in to make the app work fast which wasn’t obvious. But then I worked it out and I’m stoked at how functional it is. And the sounds I was looking for are really good too. And they’re free! 💛

Perfect!. There aren’t THAT many ads, maybe one for every three or four sounds that you download. And there’s so many sounds to choose from! I’m not 100% certain how they monitor what gets uploaded, but I’ve not had a problem with anything that I’ve been listening to. From Steady Rain to Horse Trotting to Books Rustling, there’s something in here for everybody and it’s FREE! Unlike other apps that only have limited free things, every sound here is free!

Too many ads!. I downloaded WhiteNoise and upgraded to the full version and then realized you have to download this app to get all the other sounds but what’s really annoying is the media Topia ads are really heavy and very interruptive! There are far too many of these ads! I don’t understand why I have to subscribe to another app (with ads) in order to get the sounds for an already fully paid upgraded app. This seems very misleading and does not make sense to me! I would much prefer that when I upgraded White Noise to the fully paid version all the sounds would be included and I don’t have to download another app and listen to the sounds one by one to download them. This is very time consuming!

Great for blocking out disruptive noises at work and while traveling.. Just don't use the same sounds for sleep as you do when you need to concentrate and stay awake! I have a Pavlovian response to the fan that knocks me out so I use other sounds when I need to stay awake while blocking out sounds.

The sounds on this app are endless, and they are free once you pay a very small fee which I cannot remember cause it has been sometime now since I converted over to the full app. I have spent hundreds of dollars on sound machines over the years and they don't come no way close to this app. If I would have known about this app years ago, I would have bought my smart phone years ago and saved lots of money on sounds machines that did not last. Thanks White Noise, your sounds help me sleep every night. P.S. Either slow the recording down or upgrade to where your consumers can control the speed of the sounds to their own liking.

Does Not Work. Loading featured... Loading sounds... Loading categories... When you make an app, the very first thing you need to do is to make sure that it works!

Love This App. App has so many wonderful features, it's hard to know where to begin. The sounds are of excellent quality. But, being able to make your own mixes that come from sounds with the app or downloading new sounds (for free) from the Marketplace, is my favorite feature. I can make mixes to help me sleep, to energize me, or just to relax. Can't say enough about this app. This is a must have app.

Loading. Loading. Loading. Loading. You get it? The app used to work, but not anymore. Anytime you want to do anything, you have to wait for it to load, which it never does.

Ads in this app. I had to complete a shooting exercise and it would not let me go back into market to listen to other sounds until I downloaded the shooting game. Not cool.

Get It 2gether! By 👑👼🏼♿️. Ok. U got some nu sounds & fixed a bug. Now it has a nu bug. Either in the comments it won't accept anything less than a stellar raving review (God 4bid we mention that we don't like a certain sound) or it is a genuine bug that just says "request failed/bad request" whenever I post a comment. Oh Gawd. It's an actual bug. Funny, yesterday I was able 2 comment. 2day all I get is "request failed/bad request(400)" WTH?!

Nice concept, but..... Like how you can access all the available sounds instead of having to go to a website to do that. But to require everyone to have a Facebook or Google+ account? Really? Is that necessary? One thing that irritates me and why this app lost a whole star is after I download a couple of sounds, an ad for Whack the Panda or whatever comes up and I CANNOT get rid of it. I have to kill the app completely. Please fix this!

I highly recommend this 🙂. I am a very light sleeper but my hubby is not fond of having the fan running all night so ... when I came across this app a couple years ago I was ecstatic to find out how wonderful it is. I use this every night AND will listen to it after a stressful day just to relax. The pro version is really great with its extra options, SO worth spending the couple dollars to have it! I honestly recommend this to friends whenever possible! Thank you!!!

annoyed. i’d rate higher if they didn’t make you watch ads after every other download. and the fact that you can’t x out of it on the top left of your iphone 12 pro max is beyond frustrating

It Functions when I can't. I purchased White Noise a few years ago, and it's become a reliable friend that helps me sleep when I'm so wired from work that I will otherwise just stare at the ceiling. Every recording I've heard is well done, and I bought a Bose bluetooth speaker just for this purpose, because the recordings are nice on the iPhone speakers but a more even sound, with some bass, helps especially with waterfalls & other water sounds. Worth every penny!

Some are worth it. If I stop my subscription, would my purchases stay in the White Noise app?

Great App For Insomniacs!. This app lets me fall asleep and stay asleep, naturally, and really helps with my insomnia! I love the custom mix option, so I can make my own variations of sounds (one of my favorites is Seagulls, and Ocean Waves) and customize them to my liking. My only qualms are 1) some of the slider bar options don't seem to work on the mix option, like Speed, and 2) some sounds have too short of a loop, and are easy to pick out the patters where they begin and end, which is very distracting, and actually keeps me up. Longer loops, with less distinguishable patterns are better in my opinion. All in all, I love this app and have recommended it to many of my friends and family! Keep the new sounds coming! I would love to hear more calming music to mix with my sounds.

Great app. OK so I seriously had my doubts about this app based on the terrible other apps that are out there. Well let me not be the best in the world I'm getting it five stars because it's the best one that I found. There are some choices out there in my opinion as far as sounds go, but I will say the majority of them are quite relaxing. Vacuum, not so much... Haha

Still my favorite "noise" app. I travel a lot and this app gets me past the subtle differences in background noise from hotel to hotel. Great for getting me to sleep. Love the slow fade setting 30 minutes before my alarm is set to go off. My only gripe is I wish they would integrate a "sleep timer" on an iTunes playlist so that I can go to sleep to music fading to the noise fading to a wake up.

iPhone 7. Does not Work with iPhone 7 bedtime. Also does not respond to queries roslynagatha

Normally I like this app. But it just took me 15 min to turn off an alarm I didn’t set! I was searching and searching while this horrible noise kept going off.

Great App with Lots of Options. My wife and were looking for a good app to use while sleeping. We have been using this now for about a month and could not be happier. There are so many great options available for download including several variations of rain, water, etc. There are also some really fun and usual white noise tracks.

What ? Tiny x in unreachable corner ?!. Ads don’t bother me. Ads with an unreachable x in the top left corner make me crazy! The only way to get out is close the app and reopen - LOSING YOUR PLACE in the app. Insane.

Great app!!. Seriously awesome. I get the zzzzz's right away and stay that way throughout the night. Great for sleeping in the daytime too when necessary. My schedule is all over the place, so this is exactly what I need to get rest when I need it. Plenty of options and customizing features for pitch, etc. Love the store for picking up additional sounds!

Best Sleep I've Had In Years!. I used to struggle with stress-induced insomnia. I was looking for an app to play water noise over the speakers in my bedroom when I found White Noise. Not only does it have numerous water/rain sounds, but you can create custom mixes (my fave is the water/babbling brook combo) and it has a shut off timer so I can still wake up in the morning. It's fantastic - sounds just like a zen fountain and puts me right to sleep every time. I can honestly say White Noise has changed my life and it's probably in the top 5 best apps I own. If you're up at 3 AM reading this, you should do yourself a favor and get it.

TB. Having to log in to either FB or Google makes this app COMPLETELY WORTHLESS to me. I like and use White Noise and would really appreciate having other sounds to augment my mixes but since I DON’T DO Social Media (Zero, None, Nada, Nyet), well then … Having to create and use a SM account makes it a non-starter. If you all ever decide to do the Market w/o the SM accounts make suer you let all of us know via White Noise etc. I’ll certainly take another look but until then Sayonara! Geez! The CURRENT implementation of the Market … What a waste of a good concept.

Still ❤️in white noise & all the new sounds. I have white noise pro & have used it for years (thanks ToMo). I know it has helped improve my sleep & provided a soundtrack for relaxing and working as well. In addition, we use it with our son at home and when we travel to better his sleep. I love the new sounds & the variety and frequency with which they are added.

Awesome for people that are sensitive to different sound tones. This is a fully customizable sound and tone generator. If you are calming down an infant or you need soothing from A hectic workday. The better the speaker combined with finding your sounds it gets better everyday!!!! It honestly deserves a "10" NOTHING COMPARES TO THIS simple professional customized app!!!

Great Idea, But, Dislike The Login.. I think it's great that this app exists as a way to share sleep sounds with other users. I give it a potential 5-stars for that alone. Yet, I realistically give it 3-stars because you are forced to either use a Google or Facebook account to sign up with the app/community. I really do not need another avenue in my life where some faceless company can data-mine all of my personal information. I would think that having an option of allowing the user to sign up with just an email address would be sufficient enough. I just see no reason why this developer/company, needs to have access to a user's social network accounts (not that I actually own any). So, please add a less invasive way for users to sign up with the community, such as just an email address please. Thank you if you'll do so and thank you for these, what I think are, great sleep sound applications. Besides this issue for me, the app would deserve 5-stars in my opinion.
