Dust it away. Ok really most of the space on my phone that was taken up were by the ads and not the game itself I came for a classic game but the producers are probably became more rich than Gordon Ramsay in an hour not because of in app purchases but because of the ads I mean most of the ads were about games that I have already had and deleted also because of the ads

Great game. Love this game, my 7 yr old grandson is doing better then me. Can’t wait for more challenges.

Very bad update. A year ago I would have said this was the best game on the iPhone. It had great gameplay and didn't fall victim to many of the manipulative in-app purchases of so many other games. Unfortunately, with recent updates this is no longer the case. I previously purchase the full app a log time ago, but that no longer matters as I still can't play the game anymore with advertisements around every corner. I accidentally purchased the skycrane helicopter due to the touch identification on my phone, and I am very annoyed that I wasted another $2 on a game I previously paid $5 to obtain the full version of. Before, I would have gladly supported their develops and paid more because it was an amazing game. Now it just leaves a bad taste in my mouth when I play it. Very disappointed in what used to be a great game with good business ethics behind it.

More ads than a Disney movie. Gameplay is great. Terrible disruptive ads that ruin game flow. Fast heal is the only way to achieve time-sensitive medals at higher levels. Sadly this means copious amounts of ads. At higher levels damage is more frequent so ads are more frequent. Uninstalling after 16 levels completed. Won't download Dustoff 2. You guys almost had something there but greed has done you in.

Horrible for the wrong reasons. This is one of those games that has an awesome idea but absolutely god awful execution.

Crap after update. Was good and had everything unlocked. Now you have to pay to use what you had before. Don’t waste your time. Developer only wants money

Meme review (It good game). This game is awesome and while the controls can be a little difficult, I like the challenge. I don’t like that there are adds every time you die but Rotherham than that. This game is great.

Honest review. Isn't this the most coolest game ever? Come on guys.. Come on.. Give a warm applause to the developers here.. Notice that the kids complaining here are just doing so because they feel heart broken, Like they have seen a "girlfriend they are in love with kiss another boy. 🙁 But I understand, I fell in love with this game since the first time too. I play the game with the control mode set to pro, and to me is more than a game, it's an experience. 😍 Tapping my way trough the life and death struggle of getting to your Lego blocky comrades and lift them out of harm and returning them back safe without becoming a casualty my self. The game's formula comes together wonderfully, including here the controls Which makes it so exiting to fly the copter And anything is possible with skill. Thank you bevelopers for such a cool experience.

Pretty good except.... Ok. Right off the bat, I gotta hand it to you. It's pretty addicting. However, I used to watch an ad to get a helicopter (which gives you, the developer, money) but now that I got up to the Chinook helicopter, I HAVE to buy it to own it (even though you would still make money off of an ad). Please listen. I love this game and other games that you make, but I don't really like making in-app purchases, neither does anybody else. Plus, you will get money in the end either way. Otherwise, this game is so addicting that I sometimes forget to my homework for middle school. :) ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°)

Bit unrealistic. Was playing this game when I noticed several problems. The guns are always in a turret position on the bottom of the helicopter instead of a door gunner position like the were actually used. Second, the helicopters had two pilots. Other than that great game.

Way too many ads even if you pay money. I downloaded the game and was hit with a bunch of ads while I play the game. I've been paid for a $.99 upgrade that was billed as removing ads. However I'm still seeing all kinds of ads that disrupt the gameplay. This game would be really solid if they weren't so heavy-handed about monetizing with ads

Way too many adds. This games not half bad. But you can't play 10 mins without 5, 30 second, forced adds popping up.

Bad and good. So this game is cool and stuff but when you get on level hard rain it is pretty difficult plus when you die ads get in the way but it is good so far.

Ads. The 20-30 second ads after EVERY single run get very exhausting. Its almost like you watch more ads than spend time playing. Most games like this would get ads with at least a skip option. Idk what happened to the app store honestly, now its just a bunch of garbage that doesnt keep your attention whatsoever.

Fun gameplay, egregious ads. I want to like this game, I really do. Flying the helicopter is fun and a little challenging. However, here’s the last sequence of closing an ad that caused me to quit and write this review. 1. Ad comes on, 5second timer expires, skip ad button comes on 2. I click the add. It instead takes me to the app ad download page. 3. I close out, there is ANOTHER 5second timer running. 4. Close it out, I can finally start the next 60 seconds of gameplay before repeating the process. Deleting this app five minutes after getting it because of the horrendous ads. Fix your app.

Great, Except For.... This is an awesome, no guts, blood, or death shoot-em'-up game! Great in almost every way, but you have to pay to unlock the Rocket, TOW, Chinook, and Skycrane. Why can't we just watch videos, like the rest of them? There aren't AS many ads as some say, but there are still some. Could use some more missions, too; I was so addicted I completed them all! Overall, though, a great game.

Deleted After 2 Minutes. I played this game for about two minutes and had to delete it. Out of the whole two minutes I might have played for 15 seconds. The remaining time was spent watching commercials after commercials. Instead of trying to make money from using the app as an advertising to actually think about the users who can't fully enjoy the game.

I've never taken the time to write a review, but I tried this silly looking game out and smh, this dam game is Hot, the weapons choices could be better but they're actually good enough, plus if you like flying the Handling in this game is on Point!!! This is the most amazing Game I ever played. It would be awesome if soldiers can Capture enemies and you can transport The captured enemy in Your Helicopter

What?. So, on level 12, I flew up but then my helicopter just blew up!? (No, the was no flak, this happened above the base.)

The game is good but it’s a pay to win. The game is fun but until it became a pay to win because instead of completing levels to have new helicopters you can only have 1 or 2 to play with because you’d have to pay for the other helicopters.

Good potential but ruined by ads. I just got this game and the game play is fun. But at least 1/3 of my time spent in the game is dealing with ads. Too bad. I’m not keeping this.

Don’t download. Very great game to past time except for the fact that you can only unlock have the game without paying for it. It was so much better when it was all free that why I could enjoy the whole game. Used to be good.

Gone P2W, used to be great.. Around 3-4 years ago, I was in love with this game. Just the right amount of challenge and a good variety of weapons and helicopters to choose from. Then about after a year of playing, an update released. I updated it, excited thinking that added new levels, and boom. All progress gone. All helicopters gone. All weapons gone. I went to re-install the weapons and heli’s and found that you had to pay for them. I was pretty much crushed. I came back today to see if they re-made it free 2 play, and no.

Game restarted. I lost all my levels and vehicles. :(

Avoid!!! I feel scammed!. This is probably my first review of a game. I enjoyed Dust Off 1, and paid for an upgrade. If a game is good and is well thought out, then the maker should get paid. For this version, I played a few levels and was impressed. So I decided to buy the upgraded helicopter for $3. Unfortunately I'm unable to fly the helicopter because now I have buy fuel. It appears that the fuel is $5 or 5000 coins. Fuel is needed to fly, and the fuel for this game costs as much as fuel for my car in real life. Needless to say, the game has been deleted. Be warned, though, that this is shady as heck.

WELL DONE!. Truly a work of art!!!! The passion and attention to detail (too and including the sound effects) shows through. It's got a ridiculously high fun-factor, made clear by the multiple hours I've lost playing it. 😬 Most appreciated!

Ad filled monstrosity. Really this is a giant ad filled with a minute of gameplay here or there. What could be a fun game isn’t. If you, as a game developer, can only survive by constantly showing ads in your game, then maybe you should find other work. Good luck.

Nasty Business Ethics. I gladly paid $.99 to unlock the first helicopter upgrade and remove ads. Now I’ve reached the level where I’m supposed to have unlocked the second helicopter upgrade, but I can’t use it unless I pay more. Iwould have paid more at the beginning, but now that I can see the developer’s deceitful approach, I will not e giving them another dime. I feel like I was tricked out of the first $.99.

Chill with the ads dude. Every time you die or win you get hit in the face with a ad and it’s super annoying and helicopters and weapons you have to pay for them it’s mostly a cash grab but the rest of the game is fun if you ignore it

I love this game. I love this game. I bought the two available games and had a break from playing and now, despite reinstalls and purchase restoring, cloud saves etc. I’m encountering ads. Ads popping up even DURING GAMEPLAY! Why is this? Ads, ads and more ads when previously it was advertisement free enjoyment. Please fix!

Level 5 is impossible because you have to rescue 12 soldiers and there’s one cave with one soldier then after the cave there’s a small town and 5 soldiers there and then a big hill plz make a cave in the big hill or make the land bigger plz otherwise this will not get downloads

Awesome retro style game. The best thing about this game is the control of the helicopter, difficult but not impossible and things like wind make this an awesome game.

Seems racist. This game seems a bit racist, with the American flags for the "good guys" and the rice-paddy hats on the "bad guys." Also, it's annoying to have to watch an ad after every single level.

Dustoff helicopters. It’s a good game but you spend a little more then half the time watching videos.

Addictive. Love the aesthetic and the Vietnam theme. Great soundtrack and no in App purchases. Worth my money for sure!

Good but critical flaws. I want to love this game ... and I do... when it works. Too many times I've been flying and suddenly the chopper becomes non-responsive to my touch in that direction and I have to tap left and right to avoid plummeting from the sky like a rock. This is not the wind, it just decides to randomly forget that you are holding down the directional travel. Also randomly explode while in air and get "landed too hard error"?!? I would have paid for full no ad version but the glitches were just too much.. Please fix and I will pay for sure !

Fun, Challenging Controls. It takes a couple missions to get used to the controls, but the it's quite fun and challenging.

Choplifter meets Minecraft?. Decent game, you'll like it if you loved Choplifter back in the day. However, contra another reviewer, the physics are not great (it's actually impossible to turn the chopper left or right, so you're always flying some variation of sideways. Half the challenge is therefore the poor control over the dustoff, not mastering the physics). Different choppers and weapons in the full version makes it well worth a buck!

Not bad. Not bad game, certainly not as good as version 2. Helicopter crashes at times for no reason. Worth the free price.

Too many ads 👎 and no advanced heli's. WAY too many ads for an app I paid for?! Great the game is now free so have fun with all of the ads. Also it's very buggy. I've supposedly unlocked the last heli and gun but I can't access them without paying for them. What's the point of unlocking them then? The ads are meant to trick you into clicking on them. They have a big X button to close the ad however if you don't hit the exact center of the X with a pin tip then you get thrown out of the game into a google ad tracking page then shown an app I don't want or care to see!

Rewarding and fun. This game is a bit of a sleeper. Seems to fly under the radar (no pun intended) but it's quite polished. The control scheme is simple but deep and persistence is rewarded. The arbitrary winds on Mission 12 are super annoying but they are conquerable. Achievements are well thought out and reward a ton of points. Bravo, and I can't wait for some more content. I would pay for an additional mission pack with more missions, choppers, and achievements. Maybe change up the locale (Desert Storm)?

Fun and challenging. Couldn't stop playing till the end. Loved every minute. Was challenged and kept coming back. Simple and yet complex.

Not good.. I paid money for this game, but after a new update there are now ads. I'm fine with you deciding to do a freemium version and monetize it with ads, but it's not ok to do that through an update to an app that a user had already paid for which didn't have ads in prior. I purchased the game upfront so I didnt have to watch ads. Feels like a bait and switch. :(

Ripoff. Unlocked the original at full price. Now have to repay for everything. Apple has been notified. Honestly I don't care about a buck or two but this type of dev behavior cannot be allowed for a new icon on the app.

Flappy Bird Meets Choplifter. My title about sums it. The controls are unique, but they have that sort of feel that flappy bird does where you have to tap it just right to get it where you want. Sure it's challenging, but I like it for that. Some may not. The levels in this game are varied and don't get boring. The visuals are interesting and kept my eyeballs pleased. You're getting some good value with this game.

How about using the choppers to lift and transport building materials, fallen trees, etc etc. hell, how about being able to pick up a bucket and lift water from the lakes to be dumped on fires. So much potential! Did I mention we need more levels!!!!

AWESOME game, just needs more missions. This game is beautiful, extremely fun, and very entertaining. At first the controls tools some getting used to, but after a few missions you will piloting your chopper like a pro. The only downside is the extremely small amount of missions. Please update with more content! More weapons, choppers, missions. I know it's a Vietnam themed game, but it would be cool to have some snow or desert environments. Just a thought! Looking forward to seeing more of this awesome game! :) :) :)

Bad controls. Glad I bought this on sale. This game is very difficult, to the point of rage inducing. Also it seems to freeze a lot in my iPhone 6. I gave this game about an hour of my time so I feel like I got my dollars worth. I would not recommend this game to others.

Don't support this dev. I'm fed up with developers screwing over paying customers. A new Dustoff game was launched today and it's a freemium experience and now the older version was updated with ads. I was an earlier adopter which helped them to be able to make a new game and this is the thanks I get. I'm sorry that the original game didn't make the money you expected, but why would screw the early adopters? People that buy premium games do so because we don't want to deal with the freemium shenanigans. Why alienate the people who helped you obtain part of your goal. Don't support this unethical act. It's only going to get worst if we support this behavior.

Love the Gameplay. The controls, not so much. I love the gameplay. It is soooooo fun, but the controls are very hard to use and my helicopter stops flying randomly even when my fingers are still on the screen. Also, the controls aren't sensitive enough. Work on the controls and you'll have gold!👍

Mine craft Choplifter!. This game is awesome! The controls are great though appropriately tricky sometimes, like in bad weather. The block animation is totally cool to look at and very detailed. Even the sound effects are great. I love the cackled sounds of the radio.

Needs a Few Tweaks. After a few hours with it, Dustoff Vietnam is a great game. The only issue is the difficulty in the Monsoon levels - I'm looking at you Level 12. You could have a perfect 5 minutes only to have an uncontrollable crosswind throw you against a cliff with your last POWs aboard. Its frustrating, but I do keep coming back to try again. Tone down the arbitrary winds and you'll get my 5th star.

Taking my money once wasn't enough?. I bought this, finished all the levels and earned all the choppers. It was a cool game and I still would play it from time to time just for the fun of it. But since it was updated, I've lost everything I earned and need to pay to get those things back -- after having paid for the game in the first place. Really cool...and nice touch adding the crappy ads on top of it. Deleting this just like I deleted the new second version within five minutes because of the obnoxious ads. I would have gladly paid for that one too.

If it was an option this game would get a million stars. This is literally the best game ever I hope invictus updates it 😀😀😀😀👾👾

Fantastic!. What a wonderful game for the mobile platform! The graphics are beautiful, it's designed to play in small bursts, and the controls are wonderfully challenging! On a side note, anyone complaining about the mechanics seem to have largely missed the point of the game all together!

Double-dipping. I purchased this game and have enjoyed it in the past. With their release of the freemium sequel, the devs have wiped my progress in this game by removing choppers and weapons I had already earned, now asking for multiple purchases of $1.99 to get them back. And they'll even remove the pesky ads that weren't there before! Really shameful switcheroo. I can't believe this is even legal.

Best time in an iOS game in years!!. I simply love this game!! Easy to learn and a delight to master. Reminiscent of a classic game (showing my age) Choplifter, the action and control is flippin' perfect!! The soundtrack is fun and fits really well... But try it with the music off while blasting Hendrix or CCR on another app! Serious fun!,,,

Challenging yet enjoyable. The game’s controls are different and definitely has a learning curve for you to overcome. Once you do get a hang of it though the game presents itself as being challenging yet enjoyable at the same time. Many of the reviews left as of version 1.1.1 indicate the control difficulty; your persistence is required. I remember the days of “Choplifter” on the good ol’ Nintendo Gameboy. Finally seeing something like it arrive on the iTunes App Store is a pleasant surprise.

Has kept me hooked for hours. A lot of people are complaining about the difficulty of the game, it's definitely not an easy game but is also not insanely impossible, it can be infuriating dying when you are almost done with a long level but I've been able to go through most of them in less than 10 tries if you are patient. The controls take a few levels to master but they start feeling natural midway through the game, I think the controls is a big part of what makes the game great. I would recommend this game to everyone, I usually don't play games on my phone but I haven't been able to stop playing this one.

Just don't get it. So I downloaded this game two years ago. Best game ever than, no ads, you could unlock all helicopters and guns. Last month I deleted it since I need space for another app. I redownload it two days ago and I had to pay for almost everything. There were no constant ads before, now there are. I was able to use the best helicopter for free, not any more. Also they changed the health where it takes an hour for a full recharge where it use to take 5 seconds. I recommend not getting this unless you have money to spend. I'm certainly not playing it again.

Crappy. Note: this was a paying game, now they made it free with ads and in-app purchases. So customers need to pay TWICE. This is not the way to repay people who supported you! A bug silences the audio at start of every mission. Advanced helicopters can't be obtained in without paying money, despite game makes you think they'll be unlocked for free in advanced missions. Sometimes controls are crazy and the game really eats battery! 30 minutes on my iPhone 6S took it from 90 to 24%!

Dustoff Heli. It would be a really great game if you could replenish health during the really hard rescues

Great game even though i originally payed for it.. At first i loved this game. I payed for it before it went "freemium" and was outraged at first when everything i had unlocked costed money. I sent a complaint to Invictus and they apologized and thats all that i was looking for.

Missed my stop on the train. Great game, stays challenging. Two flight modes, hard is really hard. Haven't had this much fun on my phone in quite some time. Just buy it.

Great Choplifter. Thankfully, this game doesn't just require a one button timing mechanic, which seems to be all the rage these days. It requires 2 buttons! Seriously, though, there's no reason for the bad reviews. The controls are what make the game.
