Perfect bedtime story. In addition to reading books, this is a very sweet way for my grandchildren to get ready to sleep. They love the characters and the interaction as they shut out lights. The auto-play feature is perfect for bedtime and we all say "goodnight" along with the narrator. When the little owl goes to sleep the children know it's their turn to go to sleep too. The added monkey and pig are their favorites.

Please.... please, please give us an option to choose which animals to have. I have been using this app as intended for a while now and it has been great. I decided to purchase the additional animal pack which is great except it added three more animals to the existing ones which can take it FOREVER to get through. At a minimum it would let us turn the additional pack off but it would be great to surprise my lil one with a different set of animals every couple of nights. So again I ask that you add this option to an already excellent app. I'll update to five stars if the option is added.

3 animals for $2?. I love this app. It's even better than the first. I use it every week to put my 2 year old to bed. But why charge $2 for only 3 animals? Didn't the first one charge the same for like 7 animals? I know it's me being petty but can't dish it out for only 3 animals.

$1.99 for three animals??. Absolutely love this app for my 2 year old. He plays this app (or Nighty Night) every night before bed. He would love to get the new animals, but I am not paying $1.99 for three animals. I saw it for $.99, but when I went to order the price up. $.99 I would pay, not $1.99. I appreciate the work that goes into this app, but $1.99 seems excessive.

An app review vs personal agendas. To the person who wrote the "Horrible" review: How about reviewing the quality of the app itself instead of pushing your personal agenda. What you may think about the circus or other animal rights issues has no bearing on the quality of the app and its creator that you are damaging with your 1 star rating. If you don't like the circus, don't go, and don't get the app just to do a negative review. Do you not realize how much people detest being lectured on what they should and shouldn't do? Maybe you should ask yourself why you are incapable of keeping your personal opinion to yourself and letting people make up their own minds. How about going out to enjoy the sunshine or volunteering at an animal shelter instead? That would be a much better use of your time and a greater value to needy animals than you will ever accomplish here. As for the app itself, I think it is great and young children will find it very entertaining. In fact, I think it will help them to love the animals and may even spark interest in finding out more about the animals as they grow up.

Beautifully illustrated!. Our two year old loves this app and so do I! The illustrations are gorgeous. The story is sweet and we never tire of hearing it. We also have their other nighty night app. Please keep the new animals coming.

Love this app!. My 18 month old daughter loves this app. I do feel that $1.99 for three animals is a little too much but my daughter loves it so $1.99 it is. I would definitely recommend this app.

Beautiful and Engaging. My 15 month old loves this app, we "watch/play with it" all the time. Very calming and soothing for her. She likes to touch animals for their reaction and mimic their sounds. As s huge fan of animation, I have to say this app is beautiful and fun for me as well. Exceptional!

Every new iParent needs this!. We've been using this app since my son was born. Regardless of what is going on, our now 1 yo will stop everything for this app. If you want sleep, get this app! :0)

Great sequel!. If your kids liked the first version of this game, then they'll love this sequel. Similar fun characters and intuitive play for young kids. My 21 month old daughter can't get enough of the first version and now this. Easy and fun for young kids!

Kids love it!. I run a hotel / vacation babysitting service in the Napa Valley and really try to stay away from screen time. However, at bedtime kids need something soothing and this fits the bill! I have had boys and girls ages 3-8 yrs love this app. The only challenge is keeping some of them patient enough to click on the animal up to 3 times to see what cute stuff they do before 'lights out'. However, this being my first App purchase had convinced me to try a few others by this maker and another. Love it!

Frankly magical. Rarely has any sort of app or video entranced my daughter (currently 19 months) as much as this does. The art style is gorgeous, the atmosphere is lovely and cozy, and while the overall amount of interactions in each scene is fairly light, it more than makes up for it in the results — this app can soothe my daughter in 10 seconds flat, and she’s been enjoying this on a multiple times per week basis for about a month now. The developers and artists behind this app have done a wonderful job tapping into what would entrance and delight a youngster, and it’s a pleasant enough experience for parents as well. I also recommend the other Nighty Night apps (currently 3 in total).

My toddler loves this app!. My toddler loves to put the animals to bed at night. She enjoys this app a lot.

Makes her go to bed. My 14month old has been playing this and the original one before bedtime. She likes the ipad so much and its very hard for her to put down. But after putting all the animals to sleep, I only need to say, they're all asleep so do not disturb them, she will not get the ipad anymore and will try to lie down too (even if she's not that sleepy). My biggest mistake that I hope you wont make is buying all the animals. Now we have 23 animals to put to sleep (yup) and really that's a lot. When she's so sleepy we just turn off the lights on all of them as fast as we can.

Sigh. I had to delete it, as it made my 3-year old so unhappy. Just as a warning to others with a little one of that age! It wasn’t the dilapidated, sad animal, circus theme that did it (that did it for me, but she didn’t seem to notice). What really did it in for her was that the seal loses his ball (it goes through the window leaving a great big crashing hole). The seal can never get the ball back unless you put all the other animals to sleep as well and restart the game. Several times I found her in terrible tears (and she’s usually so happy!) over the irretrievably lost ball. Now the game’s deleted we don’t have that problem, and I really don’t miss those sad-looking animals either, no matter how well they were drawn quality-wise (comparable to the original Nighty Night, a far better app!)

My kid love it but no narration. I got this for my kid and we put it on the Apple TV and there is no narration on it and no way to turn it on it seems.

Fantastic. This app is absolutely adorable and makes a flawless "interactive storybook" for young children. The animals are friendly and funny and wonderfully designed, and the music and narration is as soothing as can be.

4 & 6 year olds love it. High quality illustrations and narration. My four-year-old loves to put all the animals to sleep especially the shoe house with the little bugs. Even my six year old likes it and doesn't think it is too little for him.

This game has helped with my son's interaction skills. My three-year-old son on the autism spectrum has fallen in love with this game. It's the first time I've ever given him something interactive that he totally delved into. Usually he gets bored or frustrated pretty quickly. He has played it over and over again. It's got just the right amount of problem solving for a young child like him, and he really has fun with it! I have fun watching him too. He's never been able to be this focused on something, and he will play it over and over again. Finally, we can take him out, and as long as we have this game, he won't terrorize the place! It's a wonderful game, cute concept, and is beautifully designed. It's also really handy with getting children to go to sleep at night. This has been a life saver. Thank you Fox and Sheep!

One of the best, but not as charming as the original. My toddler enjoys this. It is absolutely beautiful and you can tell much attention was given to the details. The animals even do a little more activity than in the original Nighty Night. While still magical-feeling, this circus edition does lack the warmth and charm of the original and has a quirky, off-beat vibe, which I can appreciate but not sure it's for their audience (very young children). It's a touch/tap app - no dragging involved, which is great because my child hasn't mastered dragging just yet. My little one likes this but does prefer the other version which makes you feel warm and cozy, and this one is somehow lacking that feeling. Also the lion and the bear roar and show teeth. I do recommend this, though. They make some of the best apps for young children out there. Top-notch.

Love it!!!!!! I’m seven years old never ganna be old I play video games and they make me stay up. I like it!! But please fix the auto read I want to listen to the story please and thank you 😊😊😊

baby loves it. I've used it since my baby was 3 months old, as a part of his bedtime routine on the days when he just wouldn't settle. Now he's 15 months old and he still loves it when I turn it on for him before bed. I use it at least once a week.

My 3 & 2 year olds love the app!. My kids just love the app and they play it every night before bed. The reason I gave it 4 stars is that I also downloaded the app on my AppleTV, but unfortunately the voice/narrator is not working. Please fix the bug in the AppleTV app and I will give it 5 stars.

Fantastic Simple Bedtime Story. This is a great little bedtime story for your own tiny rabbits at home. My two year old twins love to say goodnight to the animals and are always excited to see them every evening. They bound into the living room and yell, "ni-ni amnials!" (That's how they say it. Not a typo.) It was worth the two bucks for a few extra animals and to support the development of a free app. If you read a negative review on here for political or ideological reasons, I wouldn't pay it much mind. The little open minds that love this stuff will enjoy it because it's fun and cute.

Awesome!. Use this app in my work with young children with speech-language delays/disorders, and I love it. Moreover, so do my kids!

Awesome!. My 23 month old loves this app and will go lay down in bed when asked if he can do this app as his bedtime story. Great parent/child interaction with laughs and childhood joy. The narrator has an awesome voice and the artwork is great. Even my 5 and 9 year old have fun with it, but the 2 year old absolutely loves it.

Kids love it. My kids love playing this over and over again. My 2 year old is always asking to play with the elephant. I love that it keeps my kids entertained and is easy for them to do by themselves.

Still a Favorite. We purchased this app a few years ago. I noticed another review complaining about the cost of adding more animals. We’ve gladly paid for and added each new animal group as they’ve become available. My son is now 7 and this is still one of his favorites. Beautiful colors and graphics. Easy enough for a toddler to use but fun enough for everyone to enjoy. Lots of animals doing fun things before they go to sleep. Thanks!

Auto play doesn’t work.. When my 6 year old daughter bought this app she played with the auto play and it did not work. She still had to tap to switch off the light. All the auto play did was go into the house and out when I turned off the switch. Please fix this bug.

Bad bugs. Great app...until my purchases disappeared and the app lost narration on auto play. Pretty poorly maintained. You could at least give me my money back if you’re planning on removing the purchased material.

Love it also!. I first downloaded the original Nighty Night app when my grandson was two, he is now five and my granddaughters are three and four. I can't even guess how many times we have used it to "wind down" for bedtime. I have now downloaded this app and can't wait for the babies to see it. Both are very simple but once the lights are out for the animals its lights out for the babies. They absolutely love touching the animals to see what they do then tuning the lights out for them.

Family favorite. Been using this app for over 6 years, my seven year old still loves it and my 1 and a half year old plays it every night before bed. Thank you very much for this little treasure, it’s very dear to us. :)

Not a night time app. Great animation but not a great bedtime app. The preview is nothing like the APP

New Update - AppleTV narrator bug still not fixed. Great app if it actually worked on all the platforms it’s supposed to. But it’s been forever and a bit and the developer still hasn’t fixed the narrator bug on the AppleTV version...

Absolutely WORTH IT!!!. Have only used it twice since I've purchased it and it works sooooo well. By the end of the story my 2 year old is out like a light. We have only the night light on while playing this on the iPad. Works best when they're sleepy, but fighting it. Best $2.99 I've spent on an app. I gave more than 3 animals too, there are about 5 or 6 if not more.

Beware. Although you might think you are purchasing all of the animals in this app when you buy it or when you purchase the bundle beware! There are many animals that you will not have access to unless you make additional purchases. For this price for a silly little app that you will spend about three minutes using you really should have access to all of the animals. Requiring someone to spend another dollar 99 to purchase three animals and then another dollar 99 to purchase three more animals is ridiculous. These should all be included when you purchase the app.

To the NEGATIVE people. First of all I find this app adorable! I bought this one and their other one. For the people with negative reviews.... I think your reviews were nothing but rude and you didn't deserve to download this app! I completely find it hard to give this app a bad review. It's nothing but neurotic to compare this app to a real live circus like seriously? I don't care for circuses however I would say that anyone that does must be brain dead..... Like the other person stated... Why don't you go and volunteer your time at your local shelters instead of taking advantage of this devs hard work only to leave negative reviews? Get a life! 4ish stars. We love this app, however one could live without the bear blowing up a balloon and it exploding. Nothing like an exploding balloon to get you in the mood for slumber.

tv app needs fixing. the app is beautiful and simple. The TV app however does not include voice narration or any of the extras that I paid for. Please fix soon. 3/3/20

Missing Animals. My 3 year old wants to know where the monkey and the fish went. She’s not happy she cant put them to bed anymore as those were her two favorites. Please bring them back!

Owls are nocturnal. Love the app and kids love it too but why is the owl the main feature and going to bed with the rest of the animals? Owls are nocturnal, from an educational point of view this is confusing.

Good but ..... A nice part of a bed time routine. I would skip the extra animals (in app purchase) until the developer adds a limit on the number of animals. Otherwise bedtime gets extended as Bub works through all ten animals.

Owls are nocturnal. This is a great app but even my 4 year old son picked up the error that the owl should not be trying to go to sleep now that it's night time. Owls are nocturnal and active & awake at night. Maybe they should change the little owl to a little bird.

Why force the snow theme on children living in the Southern Hemisphere..... It's hard to explain snow to a young mind when it's 35c outside in a Southern Hemisphere summer! How about having an on off switch for these themes.???

There are 3 new animals arrived to the circus‼️‼️. There are 3 new animals in the circus pig fish monkey .the fish has in its home a mini reef and it is done very neatly so that=1 star .the monkey has a new room on top of the treehouse it has a very neat coloured hammock and it also makes monkey sounds so that=1 star . The pig has the most amazing home and the pig's very very neatly I will give it 3 stars for the pig but please please put more animals in the game

Good sleep app. My, now 2yr old, grandson loves this. We play it before sleep time. The music, limited actions and sleeping noises help his sleep routine. Shame so expensive. Update: my grandson is now three and we don’t do night night circus much anymore. But, when we do, it is just as cute and enjoyable. I have found this app good value for money, like a cherished book. Very soothing.

Super cool. Very high quality app. Extremely well designed and wonderfully narrated. Only downside is that it took 15mins cleanup to install this a GB+ app.

Apple TV version. The Apple TV version of this app is glitchy, freezes during every use, doesn't speak as it should, etc Reviewing here since unable to write review via TV. Disappointing since the first nighty-night app I purchased for iPad was so much better!

Disappointed. My son was excited for this before bed. Unfortunately we also just got a dark screen when trying to open. Can't believe this is an "editors choice" and "best of 2014" when so many people cannot even open it.

Froze. Was adorable, until update time. Every time I tried to update, my iPad froze. I uninstalled to reinstall the app, again it froze my iPad. Shame, it was cute.

Favorite!. This is my son's favorite he wants to read it all the time, and it REALLY does help him go to sleep. It's my favorite too it is so adorable.

Great for little animal lovers. My daughter loves animals, so hearing them make sounds interacting, and then putting them to bed is a great joy for her. Strongly recommend.

Amazing app for parents with little kids.. My toddler loves this app. Very helpful for bed time. The fact that it is in different languages only adds to its usefulness. Thumbs way up for this app. Also priced very reasonable.

Grandkids LOVE it!. Both my 6 yo and 3 yo grandkids love this app! And the voice is so soothing, so I like it too. (Much better than having the Duck Song in my head for the next 3 days!)

What a letdown !. My grandson and I have enjoyed the first Nighty Night. The circus version is not as good. It's animals and their interaction with small fingers are less than expected. Touch, touch and it's all over. The narrator in the first was very good, warm. This one doesn't seem to be there.

Kid loves it and it makes him sleepy. Great app. Beautiful. My two year old can do it alone and once the game/story is over he says "I go bed, too." Daddy and Mommy like it, too. Great narration, sounds like the guy who did the original Winnie the Pooh

Huge UI/UX issue for toddlers. This is my one-year-old sons favorite app, however the positioning of the exit arrow is on the bottom right. This is the area where children pick up the iPad causing them to exit the animals prematurely. Extremely frustrating! Developers please move the arrow!

Misleading. Not fo 5 year olds.. There is barely any interactivity in this app, so marketing towards kids 5 and under is wrong. If your child is under 3 then it could be a good purchase, but not if they are older.

Night time. My 2 year old grandson loves this game.

Way bigger than advertised. App said it was 361MB but once downloaded it takes up 960MB. Why is it 3x the size advertised? I don't enjoy an app taking up a GB of valuable space in my phone without warning me.

Fantastic!. Extremely well-made with great voice acting and animations, and just the right length for the task. My two kids (7 and 3 years old) love it.

Love this app. I love this app! I use it several time a week to but my son to sleep. It really helps to calm him down and getting him to relax. He is 8 months at this time.

3.99?! Joke. I purchased this app for my 7 & 8 year old thinking that there would an interactive element to this night time story ; especiao because of the cost of the book but I was in shock when I realized all this was is a 2'minute narrated skit with a very small interactive element ! Graphics are amazing but they could have as least given you your monies worth

Calming and peaceful. Our 2yo enjoys this free app. At the start it seems slow but that time helps her calm and slow herself down. Enjoyable.

Adorable Little Way to Get Kids to Sleep. Very cute and effective little app to convince a little one it's time for bed. I'd love to see this with something other than the circus though.

Hardly any content, expensive. It has at most, around 3-4 minutes of content. You get far more content from trial apps than the full version of this app. Disappointed.

Great for bedtime. My kids love this interactive bedtime story. We mirror it on the Apple TV so everyone can see it and it is so relaxing before bed.

Cute for 3 and under maybe.. My four year old daughter was begging me to get this for her. I finally gave in and paid the $2.99. It lasted maybe 5 minutes and she said it is boring and too easy. Should maybe be rated for 3 and under.

Misleading. This app doesn't deliver a lullaby for children as the preview would lead you to believe. It's a small interactive push and go app. Absolutely not pleased with its limitations and lack of menu options.
