Problems. Ive been playing this game for almost two months and i believe ive had enough. Lol. When i try to mail someone, game freezes up and kicks me out. When i even try to purchase gold, game freezes up and kicks me out. If the weather is raining and the treasure chest is bouncing at the same time and i try to scroll the map screen, game freezes up and kicks me. I mean seriously?

Good but expensive. I'm not sure why they have to make their game packs so much money to get so little to work with!! Most of us playing will not spend money until you do better! We all play Empire Z and you give us better packs there!!

Identical to empire z. Empire Z was awesome before all the changes. this game is identical to when empire z was good.

Open Region 5. Overall good game. Need to open more regions as current regions alright have dominant players that you would have to spend thousands just to become even with. Also, it's been a long time since the last update. Let's hope they have something solid coming soon. Very similar to EZ just on a smaller scale.

Waiting on new content. Similar to their other game Empire Z, with less content for now. They recently added cities people can fight over and weather buffs which does make the game a bit more interesting. Game packs are expensive at the moment which is good and bad (less powerful players that spend lots of money, which means more even playing field for players that don't spend money). I do hope there is something more exciting than fighting over cities that offer little buffs for a limited time, but for the meanwhile, I am just building and playing the game.

Overall it’s pretty good. It could definitely use some updates and minor tweaks, but overall it’s pretty good. Doesn’t seem to just be a remade cash grab game

Excellent. I've never played empire z, but I understand how some aspects may be similar. This game has been thus far amazing to play. I love the gameplay and the graphics. My only complaint is that now and then, the game will crash without not reason, and it may be a full day before it'll load again. As aside from that, it's a great game. Cheers

Not worth the time. Commanders is exactly the same game as Empire Z, another Ember Entertainment game. A game Ember is being sued for because it is basically Game of War. The gameplay is the same as Empire Z, the resources you need are the same, the number of buildings you have to build is the same. And Empire Z is loaded with glitches, what do you think Commanders will have? Couple that with Ember's nonexistent customer service and well known money grab reputation and I wouldn't advise anyone to play Commanders

Strongly dislike. I really hate these kind of "pay to win games". This is exactly like clash royale. I'd be more inclined to play if I could tell my opponent off of he beats me. Deleting this app.

Meh.... Too similar to “Empire Z” only without the zombie theme. This game needs more work and features. You would think they would add more updates after years of being away. I checked to see if any change happened, to my disappointment nothing has changed

Pay to Play a boring game?. Ember clearly doesn't care about this game. The same tired events weekend after weekend... There are far better games out there.

I love it!. I maxed Battle Beach by Ember, then they released this way better game, the gameplay is fun, the clan play is fun, Max everything before control center upgrades and build troops and farm

Addicting. Only down fall is every time your attacked you lose every single troop and defensive traps and then the same person can keep attacking you until they take every dollar you have!! Also they want a rating all most every day.

Events!!!. Where the events? We spend money on upgrades but everybody deserting the game because it seems like the creators have abandoned it.

Excuses. I think it is a knock of of empire z. The players in region 6 are still waiting for a merge. Instead of delivering what they said they would in Empire Z they started to work on the development of this game. There is so much they could do in Empire Z and they have not done. When players wait months for a merge and it does not happen they quit. Ember used false advertising to get players to spend more money and the merge never happened. Players do not like to be lied to. Ember as company is dishonest. When players contact them with serious concerns they do not help them. They do not care if you got all of your pack or not, you are being harassed. My suggestion is to play a different game by another developer.

Game almost unplayable now!!!. Recently Ember decided to change the RSS allocations for the RSS tiles. They are half what they used to be making it take incredibly long to finish builds and researches because you now collect RSS in smaller amounts. It's not even worth starting now. Until they change the RSS back, don't waste your time with this game. There's nothing to see here. Move along. Move along.

Awesome. An awesome gaming experience. I would recommend this game. A little bit complicated with the messaging, and the clipboard. If you are in sector bravo, you will be thrown into a war between the two biggest powers, and you will ultimately have to pick a side.

The best war game. It's a modern war game with non-stop action. You can never sit back and relax because your enemies are always trying to surpass you. So much fun and can't stop playing it.

Was sure I was going to like it. In games like this you expect to battle people who have access to the same units and at roughly the same level also when you press battle would expect one in under five minutes now that’s a stretch because less than one minute would be the norm. So as a beginner I don’t have access to planes it was surprising that everyone I’ve played and everyone is not an exaggeration meaning most players it actually means in every match they have had planes. As I am new I’m not as familiar with the hit points or level of my buildings but I believe the hit points are around 600 and level is 3. I’ve faced level 6 players that have bunkers at 1100 might below 1100 but at least 1000. If you have to buy things right away that’s fine just don’t act like the game can be played by everyone and I would think the more low hanging fruit for your big spenders would be good if for nothing else to build numbers so the people who want to play don’t have to wait long for a battle. This seems to be the way of things as I’m finding it harder to find a game that you don’t have to spend money just to learn to play. And I’m sure this is the idea behind the arcade game give people nothing for nothing then if they have to spend have them spend money on are new arcade.

Very fun. Play this game is very fun

Commanders. Pretty good so far. Same thing as EmpireZ ( if you guys play it ) but without zombies. More in war. They both have food, iron, oil, metal, bucks ( coin in EmpireZ ) they still have Command Centers, airports, alliances, all that great stuff. I'm not sure if they have anything like a New York yet but it may come later. Keep up the good work EmpireZ!

Problems. It's having trouble loading and stuff like it loads to a point where it's almost there and it just stops and the screen goes black for a second an it takes me to my home screen. I've shut my ipod off for ten minutes and it still does it. Can u guys fix it. I would love to play this game especially because its military and I'm joining the military next year. Hooah.

Private. Takes a long time to upgrade, more rss would help a bit too at least until the upper levels. I still think so kind of limitation as to city size/ fighting to even things out would be good too .

Win lose situation. The game is very fun I'll give it that, but it has is boundaries. You can only do so much because a specific alliance in the game has complete control over the whole game. It makes it not fun and should really be fixed.

This game is the best. I loved this game so far it surpassed my expectations and offers so much things you can do (if you ask me is it better then empire z yes it is) now crashing don't have any problems with this prolly due to what system your using some better then others

Too expensive. The cost of packs that allow you too buy items are extremely over priced. The gold amounts for speedups, boosts and resources are just to expensive. There are other games you can play where your money will go a lot further. Personally, I will not spend another cent until they bring the cost down a substantial ammount.

Money. The game is okay. But if you don’t spend a lot of money you will be zeroed of all your troops all the time and never get ahead

Read this review for honesty!!. Amazing game, I love it. It's quite addicting. It's a great strategy game that keeps you playing!! I really enjoy everything it has to offer, it surpassed my expectations in every way!! The only thing I wish could change is the app crashing. I know, every app has it's downfalls due to unfixable issues, I'm not sure if they could fix this. But if they can, this game couldn't get a higher perfect rating from me. If you like games conquer quest, zombie whatever it's called haha. You'd enjoy this game!! It's worth the trial!! Update: game is still great, but the game needs some stability fixes, it crashes every time the game is almost finished loading

Commanders. Good game much like Game of war, Empire Z. Addictive and fun. Find an alliance and get playing. Better game than those in my opinion.

Absolutely love it!!. I am a huge fan of their work. I loved Empire Z and now this one as well. Same game play and same graphics. It is a fairly new game so I would like to see more people start to play.

Upgrade. This game needs an upgrade and new features... Great game but, ember has neglected us for too long... bored AF...

Needs more development. The game is interesting, but needs more controls. Things such as a limit on high-level players constantly attacking and basically making lower level players so broke they can just start to recover before another comes and does the same thing. The alliances in this game need better communication options, such as real-time communications, and alerts to other devices in a more timely manner. If these things were fixed, along with access to PC, it would be a very good game to play long-term. Several weeks later: the other reviews talking about the imbalances and the ability of coiners to constantly keep you unable to advance without coining yourself are very true. No way to make significant gains in this game without inserting significant amounts of cash. I'm uninstalling this game asap.

Don't play!. This game is borderline at best. The only quality is the people you meet. Ember is a joke and could care less about the consumer. You have to pay REAL $ and i mean avg. 5k$!!To be in the Billion power range, cause ther are folks in there at up to 8Billion who will roll easy targets like you. When you realize you can't outspend everyone you'll be in too deep. If you wanna log on n kill time at work, well this game is not even good for that. Builds n research go into WEEKS 9+, So you have nothing to do, unless you $$. Online poker is a better option. Now move along!! I played 3 years without spending 1$ and made it to 100 million power 3 years. 100 million is NOTHING!!

Shares the same flaws as empirez. The 2nd city should have come as standard... The game is not as much fun as I thought it would be... The city building quests are obtuse and the research timings are higher than any game I have seen except for empire z. The research criteria might change at any time so folks who have spent money to complete all research r done while folks like me who Wes just about to get there will get badly impacted...

Need updated. I have been playing for over 3 yrs. ember is very dismissive of people that have spent money on this game hoping/begging for any update. EMBER DELETE THE GAME OR UPDATE. Very disappointed!!!!

Since the update. Since the update I can't stay on long enough to enjoy the game. I spent to much money and really enjoyed the game to quit but if they do t fix it soon I have no choice but to give up the game and say goodbye to the friends I made in the game and move on!!!! Unable to access game and loading issues.. Game loads but screen is dark and there is no functionality. This game always seems to have some issue with loading or like now you can see your base but cannot select anything. This is not the first time this has happened to this game.

Good strategy game.. Good platform easy to grasp. What I really like is the game plays with phone/tablet in the sideways position. Personally I've lost interest in games that play with phone held straight up and down

Constant booting issues and no new units or game play.. I have been playing commanders for almost three years. The reason for staying is the people I’ve befriended in my alliance. Not for the game play, the events are the same predictable events, there has not been any new units released recently to train for even though they have slots available. Ember seems to focus more on its other games, granted they did issue another update recently but after the update I keep getting constant reconnect messages. The game has become more of a money player game if you want to level up quickly, and it’s obvious who those players are.

Cool. I like this game a lot. It does takes some time to gain power once you get up in rank, but it's a lot of fun. There needs to be an update for you to be able to move buildings around other than tearing it down and rebuilding.

Commanders by ember. After downloading this game, I could only get up to trying to give myself a call sign. Then it would disconnect or kick me out I the game app. I have played other ember products like battle beach and that game is working fine. I would not recommend this game to anyone... At least not until they fix that issue. FYI... I have full signal an good connectivity... This should not be happening.

A must have game...... Great game, I’ve been playing for 2 plus years now. I’ve met lots of great people and is still very entertaining to play.

Love it. Thought it was going to be another RTS game ... never played E Z (empire z) another ember game .... first was a little hard to handle but once I got the hand of things my core power was shooting up amazing people in game also haven't had an problem with game yet ... need to kill time just down load it and try it out ... and see for your self !

Rate. This game is not what I expected me and a lot of other players are upset over the manipulation of your wanting us to spend a lot of money and later getting our troops slowed down , our farms deleted , rrs. Lowered ,gold disappears. This game has a lot of dishonesty about it so that's why I'm tired of being forced to to buy more pack to recoup our losses.

Commanders. The main problem with this game and all similar games of this type ie Empire Z, is that the stronger plates who spend a lot of money will flatten your base regularly. Unless you spend a lot be prepared to have to rebuild on a regular basis. They don't care that they are doing it to much weaker players and the game makers don't care either as they want as many people spending as much money as they can. That's it in a nutshell.

Ember support is BAD. The game is ok, same as Empire Z just way more expensive. Embers support or lack of, is terrible. Empire Z is full of glitches, and so is commanders. Ember has dropped the ball and is looking for quick and easy money. Ember = half a$$ed effort.

Entertaining. Reasonably good game. Very much like Empire Z. Speed ups are scarce and expensive so everything takes time. In app purchases are a lot more expensive than EZ. No free gold for anything including viewing videos. Lately the game will not load after the most recent update. Missing an entire weekend event.

Collecting rss takes for ever now!. Thanks Ember, the game was pleasant up to two days ago, when you have change the rule by limited the number of tiles and there capacity!!!

Good game except for embers greed. They have taken a great game an are forcing you to spend money to stand a chance. If they weren't so greedy I'd have no problem spending money. But lower amount if resources in tile, that's low. Good work....not.

Reconnect. I've downloaded the most recent update and the app still shuts down before you can even enter your player name. Total shame! Really hope it gets fixed, but I might not keep trying.

Infuriating. Constant issues with logging in. Constant attacks occur while you are offline which causes extensive rebuild. Any and all packs are expensive but, the game almost mandates you buy if you want to grow. Complaints direct to Ember fell on deaf ears.

Great Game But.... Great game but there are a few issues i have with the game. First off, one word, crashing. Secondly, my keyboard will not work, so i cannot interact with my alliance members. Fix these bugs and i will leave a 5 star review...

Bad news. The packs are not any good. The resource tiles do not have enough on them. The game is slow and Lags. Spend a little bit more money and make the players happy before they leave the game.

Won't stay connected. This won't stay connected long enough for me to get through tutorial. But it is a fun game on galaxy so if you get it to work, give it a try, fun.

New app update. The app update does not let me load the game it just goes to home screen I've uninstalled it and re downloaded it. I've also turned my phone off and back on still does not work..

Alliance fun times!. Really fun game if you find a good Alliance that is good! This game forces you to help each other out. The only bad thing is the new Commanders to expensive and not worth money otherwise a really great game!!

Commanders iPhone connection problems. After a few secs it says troops need u and asks to reconnect and everything else like empire z works fine so it's not the phone connection just commanders does it... Any help would be appreciated thanks

FarmVille with Guns. With the recent change in resource tiles, the game play has become very slow and unpleasant. At higher levels the resource requirements are quite high and difficult to acquire without dedicating long periods of time to gathering.

Fast Paced and Fun. Very fast pace game as far as leveling up goes. I play clash of kings and clash of clans but I find myself on Commanders all the time!

Fun war game :). Im in a more casual alliance in this then EmpireZ, and I don't get attacked NEARLY as often,which is nice :) Special bonuses could drop more often, but fun anyways. :)

Good game. Very good and addicting game. Just wish the gold and such was much cheaper. If you lowered the prices, you would most likely get more purchases.

Timing. Building process takes too long plus very few free speed ups

Commanders. I love this game and the way it's structured. By far the best one of its type.

Weak. This is a boring version of empire z without the zombies. Same events over and over with weak rewards. Obviously geared for the player to drop a bunch of cash. Even the bonus packs are thin with speed ups.

Good game!. Very entertaining, wish I could build faster with little or no cost, but still enjoy.

Commander. Only been playing for three days, so far so good, nice game

Fun but glitch. The game is pretty fun to play but my headquarters is lvl 8 now and there is a glitch where I can't get anymore food. I basically can't get any farther in the game because of the glitch. Please fix. Outside the glitch, it seems ok.

Great!. Easy to get into this game and enjoy the missions. Thanks for the ability to gain extra gold too! Definitely a great time.

Dead down. Empire Z without the Z. Good game, just gotta stick with it and not get involved in Global Chat with the high power players.

Fun game that doesn't take loads of time. Easy to learn, fun and most importantly doesn't take lots of time to play and move up

Fun game. If you've played Empire Z this game uses the same engine. The game takes time and patience and not a little real money if you want to advance to the higher levels.

Too expensive. If you are coming from Empire Z or Game of War, you will be disappointed in what you get in packs and how much things cost. Can't earn free gold through Tapjoy and items cost 3x more gold than in Empire Z. Way to gouge their players.

Great but too much. It's a good game just like empire z, I do play empire z a lot so I feel like I can relate to this game but the one thing they need to fix is the amount of gold they charge for stuff like the shields and the VIP time it's way too much

Good game. I do like this one, I would have given 4 stars but it takes so long to load. If you close and answer a text message it has to load all over again.

Good game, but crashes. Game is fun to play, when it lets me play. Usually it will load up the loading bar fully then just quit the game, making me reload it and thus repeat the cycle. Can't access game

Remake. This game is just like EmpireZ but at least there haven't been any glitches. The only bad part is you have to spend real cash to get GOLD to buy stuff..

Great!. Still early on, and they drop you right into it with little advice. But if you can get on with an helpful alliance and figure the "March"s out to collect resources and attack other cities it really feels worth it.

Interesting. Takes a little while getting used to but it's a keeper.

Crash crash crash. Barely works on my iPad. The only thing reliable about the game is the crashing. Rarely can I scroll, change screens, upgrade, train without the game crashing within the first 10 seconds of play.. Not worth the frustration.

Boring. Not much action or strategy! Kind of boring compared to other games. Good to pass time with!

I like it. It's a nice game exactly like empireZ Packs are eh tho and the cost of stuff with gold is to expensive but other then that it's a nice game
