Convenient grocery shopping app. The app has almost everything you need. It not only provides frequent ingredients in most influencing cuisine such as Japanese, Chinese, Indian but it also provides special items in Vietnamese, Philipino and Thai cuisine. It has of course everything in American cuisine too. I feel satisfied with its keywords searching in your native language for spices and special food you need. It saves time for shopping! Thank you developing team, customer service team and logistics team for making this happening to all immigrants like me living in US.

Consistently awesome. I only recently started using Weee after quarantine in March. The first time we ordered, food did not arrive until after 9pm and we were extremely disappointed as it was a restaurant bundle and we were counting on it to be dinner. However, we do live in an area that probably has less Weee users and I’m guessing the driver did not anticipate how far out in the *boonies* we live. After that, we have consistently received our food between 12-4 pm, the earliest was before 12pm. I order weekly to biweekly, and I tip generously in double digits on account of how far the driver has to drive, regardless of how much I order. (Bc lets face it, I order from them bc I don’t want to risk my health or drive 40-60 minutes to the nearest Asian supermarket). Refund request are easy- just a few push of a buttons and I have never had an issue. Sometimes I’m missing an item or two bc the inventory ran out- I can just ask for a refund if they didn’t already issue it automatically. If item is less than satisfactory, refunds can be issued as well. Produce and meats is, for most part, very fresh and comes in great shape. Sometimes you get a dud- but its the same ordering from any online grocery service or even buying fruit yourself in person- sometimes even though fruit looks beautiful and is heavy, it just tastes awful. So I think people should not be expecting 100%- at 90%, I’m pretty happy I don’t need to go out to get the food I want.

This app is awesome (no seriously). I live in area that is far from any asian food stores and this app delivers both fresh and non-perishable foods and even beauty productsssss. 😩😩😩 The food is always delicious and you can read other ppl’s reviews on the items before you decide on what you want. The pantry+ items ship for free too, it’s insane. I love this app sm. I never take the time to write out reviews but they seriously deserve it. Thank you Weee! and always remember to tip generously! 😋

Love!. I saw this app on a Facebook ad and decided to get it a try. I moved to Korea town in Los Angeles and there isn’t a Chinese market in site. I would have to drive a bit of the ways and decided to try out the grocery delivery. I’m picky about my veggies and love the Chinese opo and loofah squashes and too my surprise they have both for delivery!! If only they’ll offer water spinaches and I’ll be set ☺️ My delivery came right on time and the items are comparable to market price. Definitely worth giving the app a try!

Used to love/ Won’t use anymore. I used to love using Weee and never had an issue, until… I had an issue and had to reach out to Customer Service! Their customer service is the worst and you can tell that customer satisfaction means nothing to them. I accidentally placed an order to my old address. It had been awhile since I used Weee and interim. I moved an hour away from my previous address. When I realized the mistake, I reached out to them. They literally told me that I’ll have to drive back to my old address (that I no longer live at or have access to) and pick it up! That was the only solution provided and no other options offered! On top of that no refund is offered. So I’m paying for products that I didn’t even receive. Recommendations: Change the order form to not automatically collect the address in the customers account(in the event that the customer has not updated it) and allow the customer to fill in their mailing address manually so they can have it shipped where they need it shipped. Leave the shipping address section blank like every other company does.

Felt like a scam. I was advertised to spend $35 and get $20 off on my first order. I wanted to give it a try. I was very disappointed when $38 worth of items (when I used my calculator to add each item that’s how much it was) suddenly was $53 in my cart even after free shipping applied, then the $20 off put my total at $33 so really I barely was saying $5 not $20. It was weird because the breakdown in my checkout screen showed no extra fees. It even said $0 for taxes. I just felt like there must be hidden fees. I decided to uninstall and not order, if they had explained there was other fees or even included them in check out I would have been more inclined to try it out but lack of transparency turned me away.

2 orders so far and. I have had a problem with each. The first order was missing a product. Requesting a refund was easy. The second order came fast and with everything I ordered but also came with severely expired foods. So watch out for that! Otherwise, I think you will enjoy this because it is an easy and convenient way to purchase all of your Asian goodies! The 4 stars is because of the convenience and variety offer by this app. Would be 5 stars if not for human error. I think thats fair. Thanks for listening.

Quality of service going way down. The pandemic has propelled this app to the top, yet the quality of service goes way down. The app is now so busy that it only allows customers to order meals the Friday prior. We pre-ordered dinner last Friday , and today we had to wait until after 9pm to get the delivery. Worst yet, the bubble tea’s ice are all melted, the noodles are all cold. If this platform gets too complacent about its recent popularity push , other platforms with better deliver schedule will come out and replace them very soon

Pleasantly surprised. I had tried grocery delivery service (for Asian products) before, but was very disappointed when the frozen dumplings I ordered arrived completely thawed and glued together. After hearing good reviews from friends about Weee!, I decided to give it a try, though remained skeptical. To my surprise, my order was well-packed. They even put a block of ice in the package to keep my frozen products cold. Everything arrived in good shape. Very happy with this experience. Will definitely order from them in the future!

I have been ordering weekly or twice per week for more than 9 months.. I’m very happy with the quality and service Weee! provides. I have only one concern: frozen foods are delivered partially or completely thawed out. I had contacted management but to no avail. My only remedy is not to order meat or fish. And I cooked thawed-out frozen items quickly while they are stored in my refrigerator. Weee! needs to device a way to keep frozen foods frozen. Spoilage can easily happen, and, worse, food poisoning can land someone in the hospital. This problem, predictably is worse in summer. Recently it has been acceptable due to winter temperatures in NYC.

Customer service not flexible. I helped my grandpa ordered sth from weee! last year with his credit card, however he’s too old, he canceled the card. Weee! asked me to talk to grandpa’s bank and cancel his dispute, otherwise I cannot use Weee! service anymore. I don’t have access to my grandpa’s credit card and grandpa’s too old to deal with this kind of thing, so my weee! account is forever suspended, although I offered to pay with my own card for that bill, still not gonna work. Comparing to Instacart, Weee! is not customer friendly on this matter. I can use Instacart without any problem, same thing happened on my Instacart acct last year and they just let me use another card.

convince but customer service is terrible. I purchased few stuff few days ago and it should deliver those items yesterday. Thus I put a cooler outside of my house when I left yesterday morning. I hoped that they can delivery my item and pick up the cooler. When I backed to my house and saw the cooler was still outside. Until 8pm, no one delivered and picked up the cooler. Then I contacted the customer service immediately via message, but they replied my question in one hour and said they could contact logistic department. Until 11, they told me a logistic specialist put my items in front of my house. But I double checked and asked my roommate whatever they saw any package, but nobody saw it. And I told customer service I didn’t see it. Until now, none of them answered me when I asked them in the morning what should I do. BTW, I received finally my items in the noon. The customer service never contacted me except advertising their products.

This is real even it seems too good to be true. I moved to an area far away for Asian community. The price of items on Weee! are not higher than in store or even cheaper. There are rare items that I used to hunt with a lot of effort. There are frozen and fresh vegetable items. They could ship to me with free shipping cost on me, and the shipping time is 1 or 2 days. It’s too good to be true, so it took me many months doubting Weee! and ignoring the app. But I decided to try finally, and today the first package was delivered. Oh my gosh, the items were packed so carefully, neatly and lovely. All of the things I ordered was really here. How could Weee! do this and earn profit, I don’t know. It’s unbelievable! I just can say many thanks to Weee! and the good kind employees who packed the items and delivered. I am a huge fan now!

Why are the East Asian sections highlighted more?. Now I’ll start off by saying that I haven’t ordered anything yet from this app, so I won’t rate too harshly. I just wanted to mention the lack of representation on this app and on their social media accounts. Starting off with the app itself, it seems that the only foods that are really focused on are the East Asian foods. As an Indian girl, I got so excited to see other Asian cuisines, such as those from India, the Philippines, and Vietnam, get highlighted as well, since I feel like that’s rarely ever the case. However, my excitement turned to disappointment pretty quickly when I found how limiting the Indian section was compared to the Japanese and Korean sections. Going through the Southeast Asian cuisines I ran into the same problem. It just irks me to see this because of the already limited representation that south asians and southeast asians get in the media. Now of course it’s important for East Asians to have representation too, especially with the horrible ways in which they have been treated ever since the pandemic, but since weee advertises the diverse collection on their app, it seems shady and insincere for them not to commit fully to that diversity. To give them some credit, they have been pretty good about posting for latino heritage month, and the Mexican section on the app seems to be doing a lot better than the South and Southeast Asian sections, but it still doesn’t hold a candle to the East Asian selec

Five stars all around!. Very reasonable prices, lots of specials going on for free delivery, and QUICK delivery!!! I had noticed I was missing an item I had purchased and contacted them requesting a refund and was responded to within the hour with a full refund! So many food options and categories to choose from, organized by ethnicity. Wonderful app and excellent customer support. 10/10 highly recommend. They seriously have everything!

Good price, but too good to be true.. They have very reasonable prices, but the delivery and customer service is terrible. Let me explain, I live in a moderately populated city, about 150,000. But for some reason, my city is connected to cities and stores that are about 75 miles away. I must be on the threshold so I’m always at the end of the route. This has never been a problem because it has always arrived by 9pm. And this is having to order a week in advance. Today they said I wouldn’t get the order until 11 pm, which is beyond unreasonable, mind you they say the delivery window is 4-8 pm. I tried explaining this to customer service, but they were so unhelpful and useless I just canceled the order. If you are okay with getting orders at 11 pm I guess this is the service for you.

Rotten food. How is it that sayweee has absolutely no Google reviews? Okay so my last order came with mold on the string beans. I’m talking fuzzy mold. I’m talking visible through the clear bag it was packaged in! My basil was all rotten. There were no useful leaves at all. You have to be an idiot to pack that up and ship it out. Please do not think those 75 percent off items are a deal. The higher the percent off the closer the expiration date. Not to mention you have to buy those items in bulk. Three or more. Go try it. Add it to your cart and watch it say you have to buy three or more. It’s your responsibility to clear their shelves. Like what? It seems as though that also goes for regular priced items under two dollars. Let’s get to their frozen goods. The pork in particular. I’ve bought ground pork, thinly sliced pork and pork belly slices. They all have an overwhelming smell of pig. Nothing like the pork you get in normal supermarkets. I mean I can let a normal pork chop bought from a supermarket go bad and it still won’t smell as bad as their fresh pork. I was almost under the impression they were selling bad pork as well. It just looked to fresh. It was really pink. So it’s either no good like the rest of the stuff or boar taint. Look it up. It is absolutely disgusting. I’ve actually had enough. I’m reportng them to both my state attorney generals office as well as ISD. They shouldn’t be in business.

Non existent customer service. Have used weee! for about half a year. When things go right, it’s great, but when things go wrong, don’t expect any help. They have delivered my orders to the wrong house on 2 separate occasions now. This last time was the last straw. I ordered my dinner to be delivered. Instead of admitting they delivered to the wrong house (the app showed me a picture of my food sitting in front of someone else’a door and a time of delivery), they changed the delivery time frame and said my order is still within the delivery window and that nothing is wrong. They went and picked up the order they delivered wrong, which might have been handled by other people, and just said nothing is wrong even though the food was sitting in someone else's house for more than an hour in the age of Covid.

Korean New Year?Excuse me?. As the ‘largest’ online Asian Grocery Store, Weee has disappointed so many Chinese user by calling Chinese New Year as ‘Korean’ new year. I high recommend the Owner and his/her/their employee took some serious history class and learn why this has to be called ‘Chinese New Year’. On the business side, the quality of the food is not consistent, especially the vegetable and the fruit. The most annoying part is they cancel some of the order in the last minute and just ‘notify’ you that some of the things you wanted most is ‘out of stock’. If those are out of stock, then they should mark that in the app. I guess they typically oversold to exhaust all stock. But this is extremely unfair to customers. I am removing this app and switching to others.

Avoid this app. I am beyond livid with this app! I used it for two whole years and what did I get in return? Chinese scammers calling and messaging me day in and day out. And to make matters worse, one of these scammers even claimed that they got my information from this app! I feel completely violated and taken advantage of. To add insult to injury, even the official Weee! email admitted that they sold our information accidentally. It's clear that this app and its affiliates do not care about user privacy or security. I cannot, in good conscience, recommend this app to anyone. If you value your privacy and security, stay as far away from this app as possible. Find an app that actually values its users and takes their security seriously. This app is a complete sham and selling our privacy on dark web.

Really convenient, saves a lot of time. Weee! saved me a lot of time in the past few years. Tons of selection across East Asian foods, with better quality mainstream stuff like Alexander organic milk, farm eggs. I am in the Bay Area, where there are quite a few Asian market around, but I love the seasonal fruits as well as trying new flavors that I can’t get from the local markets. Selection does depend on the areas served. Though it doesn’t 100% replace going in person, I find Weee! valuable on a weekly basis for most Asian grocery staples that I need.

Still “trying” to receive my first order. I’ve recently ordered my first batch and I paid and everything. It was smooth and there were foods that I never thought I’d see at that price! My whole family was hyped! But literally on the day my package was supposed to be delivered, not one but ALL of my goods were “out of stock” and the package was cancelled. Had me and my family completely puzzled! They still gave me an option to reorder everything for tomorrow, which I’m not sure if I’m going to before I get my refund for my items (plus, are they going to restock in a day?). Aaaaand, none of the items are shown out of stock on the page so I might wait a bit to try again. A little sad especially because I was very very excited about the delivery.

Can be better. It is a great way to shop groceries! But the packaging and shipping could be better. They sometime put vegetable with the frozen food. And that damaged the vegi. Or make them gone bad faster. The estimate time for shipping is not reliable at all. Really hard to manage if you live in a place that doesn't have front desk. I had packages stolen, And they will only refund for first stolen package... Which is understandable. But how can i manage to be at home when the delivery estimate is arriving between 5-8, And actually arrive at 3?

Shame of you. The company uses the term Korean new year in their propaganda of Korean market. CHINESE NEW YEAR is a festival that celebrates the beginning of new year on the traditional lunisolar Chinese calendar. People also call it Spring Festival, or Lunar new year, but never Korean new year. I believe that every ethnicity should be confident of its own culture, and also respect the traditions and the feelings of other nations. We’re very honored that Chinese New Year, like Christmas, is known and celebrated by people around the world. But since there is no term British Christmas, Chinese Christmas, please stop calling KOREAN NEW YEAR!!! Especially weee!, a Chinese company with no dignity. If you want to bend down your knees, go serve your lord, and don’t expect a penny from any Chinese. Shame of you!!!

Please come back to our area!. My friend used to only order for Seattle delivery until Weee started delivering to our area (Pierce County) the end of this summer, that's how I got introduced to Weee. But just last month, Weee stopped delivering where we're located. Please, please come back friends and I in our area order at least once a week and you have helped our families stayed not only safe but the quality and pricing on items is unbeatable! If we have to coordinate to same day delivery once or once every two weeks, we will do it if that's what would bring you back to us! A lot of items we can only get through you. May I add that you have excellent customer service and products guarantee as well! We miss you, tremendously!

Terrible service system. So I have ordered food on Weee for three months. It's all good until I moved. I changed my address on the setting but it apparently didn't change when I go to check out. I report this issue to the email and they are super rude. They told me I should change my address in the setting and click the save button. I did it! But the delivery is still in my old address, that's why I sent email to report this issue. They then told me that I need to change it in the checkout session and asked me to get the delivery myself! I did move very nearby but it's not the proper way to tell customers “ you may please pay attention next time.” “ do you mind go get your delivery this time.” they are like blaming all the fault on customer. I am super upset about this terrible experience and super disappointed

dysfunctional system. This isn’t about the app so much as about the service. I haven’t used the app much, except when I downloaded it because I couldn’t get any information on my order otherwise. I really wanted Weee! to succeed, but I think they still have some issues to work out. My first delivery went fine, but for the second, I was never notified when my order was delivered (only that it was out for delivery). I was trying to track it on the website, but there was no information, so after a few hours I downloaded the app. Turns out it had been sitting downstairs for 3 hours! It’s an unsecured location and my groceries need refrigeration; what kind of grocery service doesn’t notify upon delivery? I contacted customer service and they informed me that they send out text messages when orders are delivered, and did not respond to my reply saying that I did not receive the correct text message. Not sure if it was an IT error or a person error, but since they won’t even admit it happened, I have no reason to believe it won’t happen again.

Pleasant Surprise. I didn’t know what to expect but I figured, let’s give this a shot. I was pleasantly surprised that it went well. Of course there was no driver in my area but I was fine with FedEx and the associated small delay. Everything was very well packed and arrived in good condition. Most of my items were in the box ( minus the ones I had already been notified about). The is definitely going to be my new go-to for variety, selection and great cost!

Love the new "my coupon" feature. The app has been improved a lot compared 1 year ago. I feel excited to have fresh produce and seafoods delivered directly to my house in Bay area. It seems that the company provides limit-time purchase with specific products in great discount every day. I also like the new “ my coupon” feature. I can use the credits given by the company to make a purchase directly. They also bring the restaurant meals as the new choices to the app. I don’t need to visit the local supermarket which saves me a lot of time. I’ve heard some areas can receive 3 times delivery per week, mine (Evergreen) is only 1 time per week so far, when will you increase the delivery frequency here?

Customer service is horrible. I contacted customer service a few times on issues with deliveries/missing items and I am always given the run around. I sent emails and already messaged on FB. The customer service is horrible! This is one of my responses from customer service via email… Dear Customer: Thank you for contacting us. We checked for you. Free shaker means you don't need to shake it. The product does not come with a free shaker. If you have any further questions, please feel free to contact us. Sincerely, weee! customer service This was in response to a refund request to an item that says it comes with the free shaker on the box and even has a picture of a free shaker on the box. In the directions, it says to use the shaker provided in said box to make the beverage. I went to the local Japanese store and bought the same exact item and guess what… there was a shaker inside! So what the customer service rep was telling me was ridiculous. I don’t want to be charged $17 for 22 packets of something that I could have paid $20 for 44 packets of. I literally paid more for the shaker to be included and would like to get what I paid for or a refund. Customer service isn’t being helpful so I came here.

They leak your information!. I have used Weee for over a year, same as my friends around me. We all found we always get fraud SMS after placing order on Weee. Meanwhile, they are not culturally responsive. With that been said, as a Chinese founded company, it undermines the origin of Chinese New Year! I understand there is not only Chinese people celebrate CNY, people from other countries and nations are welcomed to celebrate with us together, it’s ok you guys call it Lunar New Year because it is the SAME thing as Chinese New Year. However, Weee renamed Chinese New Year as Korean New Year, that definitely steal the origin of the festival. English speakers who lives out of British never tried to rename English to some other names. So same thing as Chinese New Year. There are more and more convenient grocery delivery apps, they are more user friendly and culturally responsive than Weee.

Terrible Delivery & Customer Service. Ordered a bunch of of times from them in NYC with no issue but I tried to get a delivery to my sister’s apartment in LA and the driver never delivered the package but marked it as delivered in the app. He called but he didn’t speak any English so he couldn’t communicate with my sister and drove away without delivering the package and then lied about it in the app. I tried calling customer service and questioned them about their poor delivery service they tried to make it seem like it was our fault… I told them it was unprofessional to mark the order as delivered when it wasn’t and the employee gave me some incoherent response. They obviously don’t have any customer service training…. They even sent me a rude email with a “warm tip” about “being home for the delivery next time” We were home! Your delivery driver is just poor at communicating and is incompetent. They told me they can’t deliver the item the next day either….A delivery service with such a impractical delivery set-up and bad employees is bound to fail. It’s not about the money, this company clearly doesn’t have a clue about customer service and it’s offensive

So far so good. I’ve only had one delivery so far, but the experience was good. Everything I received was as expected, fresh, and in really good quantity for the price! Saves me time and is super convenient. My main complaint is the design of the app, which is rather ugly; and only about half the app is translated if you select “English”, which is fine for me, since I do have basic Chinese reading comprehension, just prefer English as I’m more fluent. But prob not for someone expecting a full translation, as they won’t be able to read most reviews or alerts. Another concern was that they don’t call you when your order is being delivered. I happened to turn on an outside light and open a door and the delivery man was there looking for the unit, instead of calling (a la Postmates) so you have to be on the look out.

Fruits for New Year’s tradition.. I am so happy with all the fruits and other foods I ordered. It’s a Filipino tradition to have certain 12 different kinds of fruits for the New Year and you have them. I love the rambutan and couldn’t believe you have them this time. I also like how you ship the meat, besides putting in a separate bag for frozen items, you make sure they have ice packs in them. Happy customer here. Great service. I just wish there’s a way where we can add additional items since my items was not delivered till after 2 days after the original order online. I tried to message customer service but not sure if they have replied . But overall, I’m a happy customer.

they have quality control issue. This is not about the app this is about the whole service I would like to really really request the company to look into their quality control because it used to be really good everything was fresh and especially the meat was really nice back in the early Covid but then it became really bad when the business went well especially the meat Quality "especially"when they say freshness guaranteed with green mark the meat that I got were brown smelly and dried. also the quality of the meat: no marbling, all red, too chewy. sometimes vegetables have live worms, they really really need to do something with that...

Great service but search function isn’t good. Fantastic service, every time they deliver right to the door. But the search function really needs improvement, don’t know how the algorithm was put together, maybe intentionally. For any key word you put in, they list all the randomly irrelevant options and only out the relevant ones until pages later, so the search function is basically non functioning as you’d have to scroll through pages

Excellent!. I don’t always write reviews, but this app was beyond my expectations. The groceries were reasonably priced, and they delivered straight to my door within 2 days! The vegetables turned out to be fresh, some of them even better than the ones I purchased from the local Asian supermarkets. With with inclement weather, COVID, and the closest Asian grocery stores being more than half an hour away, this app turned out to be a good replacement of our weekly trip to the stores.

I had Hope. I was so excited when I first heard of this app and service. My area has very limited Asian markets so I thought this would be a great alternative to driving 30 minutes or more for Asian ingredients. Unfortunately through the years I’ve tried searching for ingredients and EVERY single time they are either not showing on the app. Or if it is, it’s not in stock when I want to order. Today I tried to give it another try and item is also not showing in stock. But I don’t need it till the end of the month so I tried to change delivery date. Useful and gets the groceries you need when living in the city. The prices on the app are very fair, and you get free delivery over $35. Which actually turns out to be a good amount of food because the produce prices are so good on here. They can schedule your delivery within two days, and I’ve never had any issues with delays or bad or missing items. I wish they had more inventory (sometimes missing miso, more frozen dim sum please, more sauces please ie. different sesame oil or sushi vinegar), but it does have the basics that you mostly need. They do a good job. Could be improved, but still very useful when you live in a traffic filled city and the nearest oriental market is 1 hour or more away from you.

Incompetent customer service. I downloaded the app and tried to use the new user coupon at checkout. When the coupon codes didn’t work, I contacted customer service and received new codes which also did not work. When I reached out to Weee again, they wrote back implying I’m trying to scam them for more coupons and asked that I “wait for future deals.” Instead of offering a solution like placing the order for me or looking into why the coupons aren’t working, customer service decided to accuse me of being a scammer. All they had to do is look at my account and see no orders have been placed. I immediately deleted the app. I wouldn’t trust this company to deliver your goods. If anything goes wrong with your order they would not be able to resolve the problem.

Waste time. If u wanna spend a whole day eating for their grocery delivery, it’s the service to use. The delivery window is very wide, and still the driver still can not make the delivery with within the delivery window. The App kept on showing the driver is 10 minutes away, and after an hour, the driver is still 10 minutes away. Their drivers usually just left the grocery outside my building. I’ve left message to ask them to use the call box to buzz in cause leaving outside the Apt building is not a secured place. Weeks drivers are busy getting multiple orders delivered but not care about the quality of service ( no options to allow changing tips after delivery?

Great to have Weee. I am a loyal customer since 2015, when this app sell black cod and we pick up from their store front in Bayarea. I am a fan since then, it brought so many things I have never had a chance to buy from local Chinese and ethnic stores. Then, Weee start their delivery service, I can see the changes in local stores, this app brought in competition and growth for all ethnic stores, and as a immigrant, my family benefit from the competition: I feel home when I eat here in bayarea. Thank you, Weee. Despite the data leak, I hate receive fishing emails and scam calls, hope you can get over these soon.

Food Quality and Customer Service Are Problematics. I have used them twice for the last 2 weeks. The first week was good. I received what I ordered and delivered on time. Then the problem started the 2nd week - the organic apples were half bad, green grapes were in brown color, orange were flat instead of round, one third of skin on free range chicken were missing. It took2-3 days got cs replied. I doubt if they have any good customer feedback systems - same questions were replied several times, and uploaded photos were missing. They did refund half of the loss on certain produce I bought. To tell you the truth, I am tired of arguing with them any more. I took the loss and had them closed my account. I ‘d rather go to local supermarket (Ranch 99 or Marina) for Chinese speciality - at least I can choose and pick the ones with good quality. As one reviewer mentioned this was convenient to get food, but I think there are still many ways to improve.

Incorrect order, decently priced. Overall I think the price value of the service/items was decent but it was not completely reliable. I received 4 Thai Teas instead of Coffees and a random bag of broccoli, which I did not order. However, I really didn’t have high expectations for a service so cheap and everything else in my order was correct and timely. If the refund request goes through for my incorrect items I will update my review to 4 stars. I’m also pretty sure your location plays a huge factor in the quality and reliability of your items (I’m from the greater LA area.) It’s worth trying but do not expect perfection!

Disappointing - Food Delivery. I would not recommend anyone to use this for food delivery service. First, the time range of delivery was too wide, from 3-7PM the next day, that it’s really hard to plan your dinner if you have a gathering to organize. While my delivery was in progress, I could not see where the driver was at and changed estimated delivery time multiple times. My delivery was two hours later than the original estimate time. Secondly, I don’t think they use temperature controlled containers to protect the food. by the time the food arrive, all went cold that I had to warm up dish by dish while my family and friends were waiting. Thirdly, when I called the customer service, the representative told me the delay was due to the driver drove off the track. I don’t think that’s professional at all so they need better training of their drivers. In general, all I can say is no wonder there’s no charge of delivery fees and this is a lesson that I’ve learned for being cheap.

Missing refund - AND missing referral bonus. Refund -Difficult! I received a delivery where the liver-packaging had been sliced/cut open. There was fluids from the liver on all my other groceries. Never received a refund as they insisted that I had to take further steps in the email they sent to my old email (no longer access). Referral bonus - don’t expect to receive it!! They refuse to provide referral bonuses if they can get away with it. I had the app and my address since I created the app. Changed my address same day as I wanted to send groceries to my friend who is also Indian. Same day I ask him to create his own instead. He does. None of us get a referral bonus. $40 they refuse to pay out in referral bonus. Reason: Their argument is that we share the same address, as I had changed my to the same. I NEVER used that address before besides adding that address to my account just that day - and I offered to send proof of my address being the same as always. But no - they kept his bonus and mine. This app is so petty and it is all about keeping as much money that belongs to the USER as possible. Don’t expect any customer service

Terrible experience. I wasted all day waiting for my delivery and I received nothing until 5 and it showed on the app that not delivered. I called and they told me that the driver couldn’t find the address because it isn’t exist lol and later the driver called and told me they assigned Manhattan address to Brooklyn and they can’t deliver it and they also can’t deliver again. And they requested me to make a new order and they will refund the money which I strongly denied on the phone call, so how I received an email which claimed that a refund was made, I can’t believe that they ignored my words and decided all the process without discussing with customer and issue the refund without customer’s consent! I wasted time and paid the money and in a bad mood !!!! Thank you for them ! I called a couple times and always got the same answer from different people. Worst online shopping experience ever!!!

Sold Personal Information to Fraudsters. I never leave reviews, but had to say something this time. I have used the app a couple of time to buy weekly groceries and things have been fine. I eventually stopped using the app because I noticed a couple of times the veggies I was given were not fresh. A few months later, I started receiving random phishing text messages. I thought it was weird this was happening since I never give my phone number away unless absolutely necessary, and never would have thought a legitimate company would sell my information for profit. I randomly came across a few posts from others on a Chinese platform citing their phone number was sold by Weee to fraud companies and immediately connected the dots in my case. I am only one of many who have been constantly harassed by these phishers and it has still continued even when I stopped using the app more than half a year ago. I urge everyone to NOT USE THIS APP. It is absolutely disgusting a company would do so and package themselves to be so customer friendly. I don’t expect you to be donating groceries to me, but at least keep my number safe?? For your own safety and peace of mind, there are alternative services out there that deliver Asian groceries. I urge everyone to bring your business elsewhere!

Deceptive bait-and-switch marketing!!. We spent $40 to buy a box of peach; they tasted really great, so we wanted to buy again. Finally when it’s in stock, the same box of peaches grew to $68, and when we received the peaches today, they not only look yellow and small, but also taste completely unlike the previous box; they were extremely soft, and tasted worse than the regular peach you get from the store. If this were Costco I would have asked for a refund even if the box sold for $15. And yet Weee is selling this for $68!! Totally disappointed!! I can’t imagine this being accidental; this is clearly a bait-and-switch. This isn’t the only problem Weee has. Another time we spent more than $3 on a Napa cabbage, and we got one that’s the same size as an iPhone. We asked for a refund, but nope, the customer service simply said, “sorry, we will select better quality produce next time”... ummm okayyy. Adding on top of that, they miss items all the time without knowing it themselves. On an order of 20 items they would miss two. They do issue refunds for those, but it’s super inconvenient if you really wanted something from that order.

Complain about FALSE ADVERTISING. When I placed the fruits(on sell) in my shopping cart and continue shopping for rest of products for a couple minutes then starting to check out. The ACTUAL fruits that what I want on sell were ran out immediately and I didn’t notify me when I was continuing shopping. This happened MULTIPLE TIMES. So I assume they just place the FAKE FRYER on front page to attract people to shop but that products are ACTUALLY NOT AVAILABLE for customers. As a result, customers will buy bunch random products that they are not necessary need for them instead of what they actually want products because these products ain’t any there.

Spent so much money for bunch of garbage. The veggies and meat are not fresh at all and way overpriced. Contact them but got no response. Please don’t buy from them if you want to avoid trouble.

Best place to find Asian grocery!. I uses Wee for a while now and I love it. The interface of the app is clean and easy to use. They also put effort to update more new products and they often give out coupons as well. Weee definitely makes my shopping experience more comfortable and it helps save my time too. Thank you Weee!

I had Hope. I was so excited when I first heard of this app and service. My area has very limited Asian markets so I thought this would be a great alternative to driving 30 minutes or more for Asian ingredients. Unfortunately through the years I’ve tried searching for ingredients and EVERY single time they are either not showing on the app. Or if it is, it’s not in stock when I want to order. I live in area that is far from any asian food stores and this app delivers both fresh and non-perishable foods and even beauty productsssss. 😩😩😩 The food is always delicious and you can read other ppl’s reviews on the items before you decide on what you want. App Store working. I love weee! And I’ve been using it for years. The app just suddenly stopped working a few weeks ago. I can still order through the website, but the app just won’t let me set up an order . 🫤 are you getting rid of the app? Update— they very promptly reset something in my app and fixed my issues.

Weee isn’t consistent. I have ordered from them multiple time. The first time went pretty smooth. The package have their name on it, it was clean and all that. However, after the first and second time they sent me dirty boxes like it has been beaten and smashed. I wish i could attach pictures because drink was smashed and leaked in side the box. A box of coffee that smashed almost to a crescent moon shape. Of course almost all the products are wet from the leaked drinks. Therefore, if you want to buy from them maybe just dry goods.

However with the latest update it seems as though searching for particular items is no longer possible among other things..when trying to toggle between other pages there always seem to be an error in the link

Video draft box features need to be improved!. I'm a video creator, I upload videos using Weee! app, but its somewhat inconvenient for me. The features in video draft are too limited, I wish the video draft box could add new features like the Facebook do, allowing users to edit, re-upload and save changes in published posts other than deleting the whole.

Most recent update is bad.... I like Weee and it has been helpful during the pandemic. However, this new update is really difficult to navigate! Cant find 团购 function anymore. (I think they removed it which is a big bummer!) And many other glitch and bugs (many broken links). Also the new update slows down the app a lot. Please fix...and bring back 团购 - or make it easy to find!

Your app needs more improvements.. Hard to navigate from a page to another page. Going back from product review or product info to main page is nowhere! No back, fwd and exit arrows exists when you are in more product info. Am using the app in the new 2021 mini ipad 6 to shop.

They sell your personal data. This isn't a secret that they sell your personal data to darkweb. Many of my friend and I had received way more scams phone call, text, and email after using this app. All they had done for this action is to provide a apology. I couldn't possibly understand why they had done this, it is unlike that they can't make money from doing good in grocery delivery. I will give them the credit for good delivery, but what they had done from behind is disrespectful to the customers, I don't recommend using it unless there is no other choice, 1 star for sure.

Traitor Software with its CEO. I just cannot believe the CEO Larry Liu is Chinese, but he keeps selling Chinese patrons’ information. After I registered the software by using a particular name, I got lots of scam calling and messages. He is also using Korean New Year rather than Chinese and Lunar New year, ignoring the history that the original spring festival was started in China. Is he really a Chinese? If so, I believe he is uneducated and a traitor. I also believe an individual with different backgrounds who do not respect their own culture will not get respect from the others. Keep sucking up to Korean, you will get what you deserved one day!

Do not download! They will sell your info to scammers!. The reason I’m giving this app a one star rating is not because of the app is worthy of the one star rating, it’s because of it’s the bare minimum rating you could possibly give. The second day of singing up the accent on this app I received multiple scam calls calling me as the “proxy” name I used to register, and using my delivery address and phone number to address me. Unless you find that getting daily calls from some shameless Chinese scammers amusing, I would heavily recommend against getting this app.

Love the idea but…. Love the idea and the app looks and works really well but… it’s disappointing to see you claiming to deliver Asian groceries but can’t even categorize them right. Thai food was put in Vietnamese category (Viet New Arrivals). As a Thai person myself, that kinda upsets me a little. And when I tried to search for Thai products, I didn’t see a lot of results. Then I tried to search for Vietnamese and there was a lot of Thai products in that result… I like the app but I’m not gonna spend any money on it until this issue is seriously taken care of. Want to target Asians, you gotta do it right.

I wish I can rate zero. I ordered once with my first time and when the package arrived I was so happy that I thought finally I don’t need to get out frequently to get foods from grocery stores.. but when I opened it the big box was 2/3 empty like most of my orders was not there they didn’t even package it for me!!! All I got was only three or four items with two separate boxes.. and I emailed them they asked me if I received two packages of course I received two packages but nothing inside… what’s the problems with their warehouse?! I deleted the app right away and would never use it .. and of course I will let all my friends knows my experience with this kind of app!

Excellent service. I thoroughly enjoyed shopping at Weee. The produce are always fresh and well packed. I shopped at Weee during the peak of the pandemic, and I am still shopping at Weee. Some groceries are pricey but considered the convenience of many choices of food you can get and the home delivery, it is a big plus. The delivery person is always respectful of property on delivery and the groceries are always packed in a very professional manner.

Five stars all around!. Very reasonable prices, lots of specials going on for free delivery, and QUICK delivery!!! I had noticed I was missing an item I had purchased and contacted them requesting a refund and was responded to within the hour with a full refund! So many food options and categories to choose from, organized by ethnicity. Wonderful app and excellent customer support. 10/10 highly recommend. They seriously have everything!

Fast shipping. Items were packed and boxed well, neatly. Frozen goods came in insulated bags with ice. Delivered at door by a very pleasant person. Bottled items were wrapped well! I am absolutely ordering again from Weee! Everything you need you can get from here with so many selections to choose from. Not completely awful, not great either. Pros: My snacks are fine! I was able to get new things to try and things I’ve tried before that I have a hard time finding. My scallions were fresh as Inwould get from the regular grocery store (a bit wilted but I usually get slightly wilted greens). My glass products were safe and everything arrived together. Cons: Delivered at 9 pm. This would have been fine since I was already warned, however for most of the day the app was telling me my delivery was 17min away, at like 8 in the morning only to get here super late. One of my bags popped open (bag of chips) they luckily weren’t stale though. My frozen goods were completely defrosted, soooo glad I didn’t get meat but I don’t like my wet dumplings either. Probably won’t shop here again but if you just want snacks you should be good (check the expiration dates though, most of them are only a few months away so don’t buy in bulk if you can’t eat it all soon.)

The veggies are bad quality. Ordered for the first time because I heard it’s a convenient way to get Asian vegetables. However, it’s a huge disappointment. The quality of the veggies are really poor. I ordered 6 kinds of veggies and only one looked “ok”. The other 5 kinds are has already gone bad and the leaves has already turned yellow, black, and mushy. It’s far from being good. I have to throw away all the veggies and spend time to contact customer service. What a waste of time! Not to mention that it delivered one hour later than estimated, when it shows “the driver will arrive in 10 mins”. Stay away from the app if you want good quality vegetables.

Terrible pick up experience and spam emails. Weee uses individual person/house in multiple places/cities as their pickup location. Some individuals can be way too unprofessional. I’ve met/communicate a couple of individual persons that are too rude to talk with and I end up canceling my order. I’ve also been to a pick up location (a single family house) with 5-6 barking dogs behind the fence that really scared me. I used Weee a few times in 2017 and unsubscribed it from any marketing emails. But it kept spam my email for over 2 years before there opt-out option really works. Definitely issues with their technical stability and violation of user data protection.

Free shipping after $35 is a joke!!. Great list of products BUT after selecting over $35 of items to ship, at checkout they divide it into 2 different dates and then they make you select $35 for each shipping date!! Even if you make one of dates to be the exact same dates, this does not go away!! Fix the checkout process!! Combine everything to ship on the same date! I won’t shop here until they fix it!! Update Response: IF you have 2 different checkout categories, then you need to specify this in the description of the app or in the app itself. Very deceiving…

Easy Access To Cultural Treats. I’m Filipino, so I crave a lot of Filipino treats. I live in Manhattan, so getting Filipino ingredients is a bit of a hassle, as I would need to go to Queens for that. Weee makes it easy to get what I need and crave! It’s so easy to shop for items, with your order coming in on time! I also like to explore other cultural treats from the app, to broaden my horizons. I’m confused. The reason why I say that I’m confused is that I downloaded the app only to be able to buy the fruit that was showing on the advertisement, but when i downloaded the app , there was no fruit , just was showing things that where made out of fruit , I mean why advertise showing different kids of fruit and once you go there , there’s no fruit. Really sad and disappointed I don’t know maybe I’m looking over something.

Please bring back the buyer’s post feature. I’ve been using Weee for Asian grocery since pandemic started last year and it has been really great. I’ve recommended it to literally everyone I know. The price is reasonable, items have decent qualities (majority of the time) and free shipping is very accessible. I’m sad to see no more buyer reviews/postings cause that’s where I know the quality/portion and ways to cook. Please bring it back.

Legit!!!!!. @ first i was worried it might be scam and lame apps. But when delivery process and arrival of item everything is fantastic! For my experience of Sep. 2023. I experienced two late orders this month. One on 9/7 with 3 hours’ delay, the other today 9/30. The order today hasn’t arrived yet and it’s 11:50pm. The app shows that the order may arrive between 12am-3am. I have to stay up for the order since it contains perishable items. I’d give one star if not my previous shopping with Weee. (I received a text in the morning saying the order running late would still arrive today. Well, tomorrow is in 5 minutes when I finish writing this review.)

Data breach and appeared on dark web. I’ve been using Weee for months now and never had any issue. However while I was doing a dark web scan today I saw that my name, email, phone number and address had been in a data breach and now appeared on the dark web. There was only one source of the breach and it was Weee. I hadn’t received any communications about this- either they are deliberately withholding information or they didn’t even know there’s a breach. Either way, I’m in contact with CS and requesting the deletion of my account info.

The BEST. I am so grateful for weee! Living far from the Asian store made it so convenient to get my Asian craving. Prices are cheaper than regular stores and customer service is good. They have more selection now. I started ordering from them at the beginning of the pandemic. Lately, they have been delivering late at 10pm. That’s past my bedtime. If there’s no perishable food that’s ok with me, but most of the time there is. The drivers of weee are amazing. The app is great too!

Dragon Fruit. Order some dragon fruit because what I was finding at the local grocery was hit or miss. As of late more of a miss because they were very old for what they were charging. Google dragon fruit and found Weee. Was unsure, because me I was like how they go deliver this? Who are they connected too? Took a chance and they were delivered to my door. Clean, sealed, in good condition, not old and raisin like, and delicious. Will order again.

Late delivery. I received my package on time at first few purchased, but this time is way too late. I made an order on Sep 9 and still haven’t received my package until today Sep 18. I can’t track my items, it has been showed “Delivery information will be available once carrier has the updates” for more than a week. I even sent an email but received no response, made a phone call but no one picked up. I’m extremely disappointed. I love this app because I can buy things that I couldn’t find anywhere else but deliver is the problem that you need to fix.

Just one problem. Weee is a very nice looking app, and from the looks of it everyone else is happy with the things they have purchased. But not me. Whenever I order something it always cancels my order but still takes away my money and I never get anything back. I’ve tried to order on their website instead of their app and it just really wouldn’t work. I usually never write bad reviews unless it’s REALLY necessary. but to whoever’s reading this, please be careful with what you use to buy your foods online.

This is not about the app this is about the whole service I would like to really really request the company to look into their quality control because it used to be really good everything was fresh and especially the meat was really nice back in the early Covid but then it became really bad when the business went well especially the meat Quality "especially"when they say freshness guaranteed with green mark the meat that I got were brown smelly and dried. also the quality of the meat: no marbling, all red, too chewy. sometimes vegetables have live worms, they really really need to do something with that...

Deeply Concern About the Food Quality at Weee!. I have couple negative experiences with the foods that I purchased from Weee! One of the bags of marinated plum I ate has a maggot once I was half way done eating, which was super disgusting. The other day, I got a very sick long hair inside the package while I was eating another bag of snack. I took a picture and wrote up a negative review under that particular snack that I purchased, but the feedback never appeared on the product. They would block your comment if you try to write a negative feedback under the product. SUPER SNEAKY AND DARK! I bet most the products do not have accurate reviews.

Convenience. Easy to use app, and convenience overall. However, I give 4 star because I have received notices for the last two purchases about items being out of stock. Those are things that I couldn’t find at my local Asian supermarket. It was showing available when and after I make the purchase. I wish they are keeping track of their inventory and update that on their app. This really disappoints me.

Being able to add to order within an hour of ordering 2). Coupons should automatically be added to account instead of having to find it in email then adding

Terrific and Unique. The app is highly user friendly and easy to navigate. Ordering is a seamless and satisfying process. Would definitely recommend it to others. Also, offers some special treats and products that are not readily available elsewhere. Delivery options and overall service is excellent and impressive. The 4 stars are because of the ongoing frustration of the app indicating that an item will be “AVAILABLE SOON.” Often, it never is.

Never thought this could happen. I have been living in the U.S. for quite some time and I miss my Chinese food so much! Now, Weee is here and they have been delivering the orders so fast and the vegetables are so fresh and the prices are just right. Some are even cheaper than you can get from any grocery stores, including Asian ones. I highly recommend their online store!

No control of delivery quality. I’m giving it a two because Weee! does have a variety of choices for Asian food. Its delivery service is lacking though. There is no channel in app to rate delivery service like other apps. I think the company should add that to ensure consistent satisfactory user experience end to end. Shouldnt the delivery guy follow instructions and deliver to your doorstep, without having to call you and have you pick it up outside yourself? It’s quarantine time and we prefer contactless delivery. This is making it difficult and I am unsatisfied with the app in this perspective.

Hesitant at first but this is legit!. It seems to good to be true to have authentic Asian food and snacks delivered but this service is legit. The order arrived on time. Delivery driver didn't speak English so if you don't speak Chinese you may struggle to use this service. One item in my order was missing so TBD on how well they'll handle it but all in all, I am still STOKED that this exists! THANK YOU for filling a much-needed food delivery gap! I am impressed by the breadth of item selection, inclusive of many different Asian countries.

Pleasant Surprise. I didn’t know what to expect but I figured, let’s give this a shot. I was pleasantly surprised that it went well. Of course there was no driver in my area but I was fine with FedEx and the associated small delay. Everything was very well packed and arrived in good condition. Most of my items were in the box ( minus the ones I had already been notified about). The is definitely going to be my new go-to for variety, selection and great cost!

Legit best grocery delivery service I’ve had. This is by far one of the best grocery deliveries I’ve ever received. Vegetables are all fresh and plentiful, meat is packaged well and still frozen when it comes (even after being on my porch for a few hours one day when we got home later than expected) and the variety of products makes me so excited to try new things. They have things I would have to drive to Albany or New Jersey to get.

Can be better. It is a great way to shop groceries! But the packaging and shipping could be better. They sometime put vegetable with the frozen food. And that damaged the vegi. Or make them gone bad faster. The estimate time for shipping is not reliable at all. Really hard to manage if you live in a place that doesn't have front desk. I had packages stolen, And they will only refund for first stolen package... Which is understandable. But how can i manage to be at home when the delivery estimate is arriving between 5-8, And actually arrive at 3?

LOVE! SO CONVENIENT!. I love this delivery service so much and the people who deliver my stuff are always so careful. So far I’ve always gotten the best picked veggies so hard fresh and big too! Huge zucchini’s. They keep adding more to their inventory all the time and I get so excited to see what else they start selling. So far they have everything I normally need to shop for. I don’t have to waste time driving to the multiple grocery stores for my stuff.

Customer service not flexible. I helped my grandpa ordered sth from weee! last year with his credit card, however he’s too old, he canceled the card. Weee! asked me to talk to grandpa’s bank and cancel his dispute, otherwise I cannot use Weee! service anymore. I don’t have access to my grandpa’s credit card and grandpa’s too old to deal with this kind of thing, so my weee! account is forever suspended, although I offered to pay with my own card for that bill, still not gonna work. Comparing to Instacart, Weee! is not customer friendly on this matter. I can use Instacart without any problem, same thing happened on my Instacart acct last year and they just let me use another card.

The item is out off stock…. I start to use Weee recently because my friends recommend me this app. It works not bad. It told me one item is out of stock and will refund me. However, when I saw the out of stock item is still in sale but the price went up, I start to understand that it is not out of stock, but the price I brought is not profitable for enough… This is bad because it indeed refund me. But if I want to buy the same item, it will cost me more. So if you are buying 25% or 50% off stuff, don’t feel surprised that this item is “out of stock” but still in the app for sale…

Love this app!!. Love this app since I was a student! Weee! has been carrying not only essentials and core Viet items but also nostalgic foods and exciting snacks. A wide variety of grocery items to shop! I can cook my daily favorite meal or Pho noodle by shopping the entire ingredients on Weee! without going to a local store. Excellent customer service too, if you happen to have any problem with your order or delivery, Weee! will solve it pretty fast. I strongly recommend Weee!
