Let’s just say I have not yet..... Let’s just say I have not yet deleted this app because I found it pretty useful, not to mention when you sent it it’s someone they don’t expect it and it cracks them up because it’s a great expression of how we actually feel without trying to explain it. You just known. Lol. It cracks me up. Because that’s exactly how be feeling. Into read about how they are working together with Google while improving their product they’re brand. This is great for advanced technology and I look forward to seeing other products and services from Tenor. Great job cause I know this isn’t even the beginning yet. One to two steps too many. I like the GiF’s very much. However it would be nice if they would sub-categorize further I didn’t put emoji separate show me the photos as well as any stickers, animated or not. Takes a lot of time to go through all of them to think the exact one you want. I would like to be able to cut and paste into something other than an actual message but somewhere in that messenger app itself. So that it is easier and closer at hand. Perhaps if it could detect a word in your text a GIF or two from your favorites would pop up and are you have to touch it a couple of times for it to go onto the message

App is disorganized. 1) there’s 3 different instances of the app. The keyboard top bar select, the actual selectable keyboard, and the app itself 2) all 3 instances are missing features from one another. So if there’s something you want to do or settings you want to change, good luck finding which instance to use... 3) stickers will only show up in their own distinctive category if you use the top bar select version, However you can’t use your account version. If you use the keyboard itself you can’t really tell what a sticker is from just another gif. If you use the app itself you can only manage your library but cannot search for stickers at all. The app does what is advertised but it seems any effort to streamline or improve is absent. So overall annoying most of the time but if there could be any feature I’d like to see added would be the ability to view only stickers.

Love this app!! but…. Loads of creative and original gifs along with the standards people love. I do wish they’d go back to the old way of categorizing gifs so it’s easier to find the newer more original ones. Currently, the same tired ones you see all over the internet are prioritized and hat includes ones that are personalized for specific people (UGH, most of us can’t use those!!!). Also, FIX the save function!! I find unique gifs, save them using your folder function and when I go back later, the folder is empty. EMPTY!! Meaning I just wasted my time and even worse, I can’t find those super cool gifs now, because you’ve changed the search function.

SECURITY! Advise NO use. DO NOT USE! People are complaining about trivial things in comparison to a REAL PROBLEM. There are plenty of app issues to give a low rating, however those are the least of what you should care about. It’s a **SECURITY RISK** Someone already said it, and it’s true - that this app is basically spyware. SERIOUSLY. Its basically a keyboard input tracker. There’s no option to tell the app not to track but that’s not the worst of it. The app ITSELF tells you that it tracks *ALL* of your keyboard inputs. I’m sure it’s EVERYTHING because you can use their keyboard as an input option in anything that uses a keyboard, so essentially becoming part of your system. Most likely it monitors when using any keyboard, not just theirs - including your standard U.S. keyboard. I also saw an iOS warning saying it could then track ANY sensitive info like CC#’s, and our SOC# !! DELETE - I did.

Mostly good. This is my favorite Go-To keyboard for gifs when texting, and I can always find at least something close enough to what I’m saying. It’s easy to search through and use, and updates regularly. The only thing that bugs me ALL THE TIME is that I can’t disable the “Trending” or “Suggested” searches. I don’t want them or need any of them, so I shouldn’t have to be forced to have it listed in my recent list, when I’m trying to get back to my previous conversation banter. It never goes away, and pushes out my recent searches, putting that crap list there, that doesn’t pertain to anything I want. Do me a favor, give us an option to disable the trending suggestions list, so that our OWN recent search history can be provided accordingly. Thanks 🙄

Constant freezing. This was the first and only app I downloaded for gifs. It’s been alright since I’ve had it for maybe 2 years or so. It would freeze every now and then, but it was tolerable. With the recent update to accommodate IOS 11, it freezes on me constantly (Yes, everything is updated). Every time I try to copy a gif to my keyboard this occurs. As you could imagine, or as you may already be aware, this is pretty frustrating. Hopefully it’s just a small glitch they’ll have worked out soon. Or maybe it’s because my 6S SO is unable to handle it, but I highly doubt that. I hardly write reviews, and I’m sure this is a bug that’ll be worked out soon enough, but as a man who likes to use gifs as a frequent means of communication, I’m already weary of this bug.

Appreciative Husband and Father. As a husband and a father, in our world of rapidly expanding social media with its scary pitfalls (some of which, I believe, purposely lure youth and children into inappropriate subject matter), I appreciate being able to quickly find and send appropriate images to my wife and family. There are some images which I do find unsuitable, and others that are clearly raunchy and disgusting, and I can ignore them. However, my children are often allowed to use my phone; I am concerned that your images/gifs may be too easily accessible by children: are there filters available to set on devices to which children have access?

My go to GIF keyboard. I for real have been using this app since it was created, so many years ago. It is the most consistent, precise gif app on the App Store. Pros: •easy to use •keyboard access is very intuitive •quick captions are a fun touch •saves previous searches for quick selections •works on most messaging and social apps •quick save to photos Cons: •doesn’t offer auto-correct spelling •UX is a bit unintuitive with captions •(please correct me if I’m wrong) in order to access “favs” you need to leave the messaging/social app screen Overall, best app on the market for quick gifs. Highly recommend.

MAJOR SECURITY ISSUES AND BUGGY. You have to sign up for an account in order to download your own gifts. When I attempted to do this the link the download takes you to kept telling me I needed to fill in all the information - three times! And I had filled in every single blank. So I thought I would try a different link to see if maybe it would work correctly and it did to a point. I was able to register with no problem took my user ID And my password with no problem. However, when I went to log back in it kept telling me that my password could only contain capital letters, lowercase letters, and under scores. My password had one capital letter and the rest were lower case letters – so what’s the problem? So now I can’t login, which is also problem! However these are only minor issues compared to the huge issue of SECURITY! When you sign up for the account it requires you to give the keyboard full access to your information. When you open up the security warning that comes with this, it tells you that full access means they can copy anything you type with that keyboard and any information stored on your device nearby! Including things typed with your regular keyboard, banking information credit card information passwords, etc. with all the warnings about identity theft these days this is completely unacceptable! I gave it a one simply because of the security issues! The gifts are great and if there were adequate security with it I would give it a four or five but there is no way you will EVER get me to open up all of my information for this company to copy and also distribute to other people! And if you disable it to try and protect your device, and then turn it on to use the app it can still collect data that you enter while the keyboard was disabled!!! BE WARNED!!! IF YOU DOWNLOAD THIS KEYBOARD ALL OF THE INFORMATION ON YOUR DEVICES ARE FREE GAME TO ANYONE!!!!!!

Full Access isn’t necessary, so why are they forcing it?. When you click full access your phone warns you that they can see all your keystrokes INCLUDING the ones made before you even installed the app. Which means if they wanted to they can go through your history and take your PII (Personally Identifiable Information) if you’ve typed in your SSN, date of birth, bank and bank card details, emails, phone numbers, addresses, sensitive personal information, etc. If you’re a parent then they’ll have the information of your children and family. Now I don’t think they’ll use any of your bank information, but that doesn’t mean it can’t be stolen by someone else. Not to mention they sell out your data to other companies and corporations. There’s no reason I can find for them forcing you to allow full access. Too many risks and all it takes is someone going rogue and stealing your identity. I say better safe than sorry; download a gif keyboard that doesn’t require full access.

Thank goodness I am not hungry too I have no one to do it with the other one I don’t want. Thank goodness for your help and thank goodness I am not feeling good today about the pain I have left for my family and my parents house is going on a day and I have to get to the park so we will be able and to be gone by tomorrow afternoon and I have a doctors appointments and a few days later I have a few things for my dad and my parents to take care of and my family is coming in to get a haircut appointment at noon and then he is coming in for the appointment at noon and I have a appointment

Great app issue resolved with most recent iOS update. I used to love this app especially because it was integrated within iMessage. Recently I deleted the GIF app and reinstalled it. Now the icon will not show up even though I’ve given it full access. It also happened with another app called GIF Maker. When I delete them and re-install it’s a blank icon which is not as easy to find when I’m scrolling to choose an app. Please advise! Apparently the issue did have to do with Apple and the most recent update which resolved my issue. When I spoke with an apple advisor today she told me it had to do with the app itself which was incorrect

Latest Update broken. Well I have been using this app for years. The last update isn’t working properly on my iphone. Tried sending out a gif and so far my favorites folder is gone. When I do type in the certain gif, it does show a highlighted heart as if it is saved to my favorites but not necessarily there. I checked all my settings, checked my folders or saved folders and favorites just not there. I am unable to send the favorite or other gif’s it kind of boots me out or shut’s down the app completely. I shut it down, deleted the app, re-installed it, signed in and it is the same… buggy and my folders are not there. Problems it never had before. Hopefully another update is required to fix this issue.

Easy to use. It’s Free and Easy to use and quite useful when I am messaging my loved ones. Especially when I am in dire need of that right gif or motion sticker to express myself visually. The keyboard and it’s user interface are easy to use and it’s easily accessible directly from the message being created at the time. This app plays a pivotal role in daily messaging and social networking habits. My favorite feature used in the app is having the ability to generate a word search of the precise media your looking for, allowing you to organize and store content found into categorized folders and sub-folders for future use. Oh yeah best of all have I mentioned that the app is ENTIRELY FREE TO USE!

Why do you need full access?. The gifs are fun but a lot of them are repetitive and it doesn't seem like they update them. Ever. The part that makes me uneasy is the "full access" part that you have to accept if you want to use it. To be honest, I've been using it for a long time with full access allowed because I thought it would only transmit what I typed on this particular keyboard, but in the back of my head I always felt concerned and now I'm just not comfortable taking that risk unless they clearly specify that they can only access what I type while using their keyboard bc I never type anything private in their keyboard I just search for gifs. But they don't make this clear so I'm not going to use it anymore. Also I really don't understand WHY they need full access. I'm not an IT person but i've never had any other app asked me for that so I really don't know why it's needed.

I use it everyday. This keyboard allows me to find the perfect gif for any conversation I am having. I can probably count on one hand the number of times I couldn’t find one that I was looking for. I have this on both my personal and work phone. It is great to use in Microsoft Teams to lighten the mood. It works seamlessly with Apple Messages, automatically copying after selecting the gif so all you have to do is paste it into the text field. With Facebook Messenger you can either send directly after the gif automatically copies following selection or if you select the 3 dots (…), you are able to swipe left to the copy link function. Paste that in the Messenger text field and you can add additional conversation text. In Facebook, the gifs can be added to Posts or responses. The catch to this is that you have to copy/paste the gif link into the text field in order for the animation to work. For some reason if you paste the gif after the gif keyboard does the automatic copy after selecting the gif, the animation does not occur and it is just a picture. All in all this is one of my favorite texting tools. I highly recommend it.

App can access your personal info. This is a quote from their Privacy Policy that you have to allow in your phone Settings before you can use their GIFs: “Third Party Keyboards provide an alternative way to input keyboard data. These keyboards can access all of the data you type, including bank account and credit card numbers, street addresses, as well as other personal and sensitive information”….. ALSO: “If you enable Full Access, developers are permitted to access, collect and transmit the data you type. In addition, if the third party application containing the keyboard has your permission to access location, photos, or other personal data, the keyboard can also collect and transmit that information to the keyboard developer’s servers. If you disable Full Access for a third party keyboard, and then re-enable it, the keyboard’s developer may be able to access, collect and transmit what was typed while the network access was disabled.” NOT worth the GIFs imo.

Real review, from a real person, about a real good app.. First off I am an actual person doing an actual review. I didn’t get paid or receive anything for this (it would be cool though devs!) just kidding guys. But honestly, this is the best app for .gifs out there!! None of the others can touch this app! I’m into a lot of underground and lesser known media, and I’ve found a gif for it all. If you don’t believe me, I bet you don’t know who Old Gregg is, I do, and there’s over 20 gifs of him and lines from the skit. Guys, I’ll be downloading this on every phone I have as long as I possibly can. I love it. I have not one single negative thing to say!!! KEEP IT GOING DEVS!!!

always enjoyable. I love using this keyboard so much. I sometimes feel like the emojis aren’t helping with expressing myself. So I love the sticker and gif options. I do wish it would work on all apps. Because sometimes the app doesn’t let u use the gif app. But other than that I mainly use messages to text anyways so it isn’t a big problem. I’m just happy there’s way more options than the gif keyboard that comes with iPhone. Plus u get stickers and sticker gifs from tenor so I’d say it’s so much better overall, helps with adding more of that personality to texts. This app is amazing so yayyyy!!

Best gif app by far. Way better than any ‘native pre-installed’ phone gif-type searches, better than all the ‘in-app’ social media ones also, such as FB or IG, this one tops all of them, has 100x the selection and also gives you the additional options to caption and upload your own and send them. Also gives you the ability to save any you like so you can go back or access quickly later to send to someone. And you can post your own and get credit for them and see how many reshares you get, all from your keyboard. It’s easy to use and navigate, I think it’s all around a very well-made app. Everything’s free also, no annoying ads, or pop-ups. It has iOS imessage integration into the side bar just the same as Bitmoji or your imessage stickers go also. Honestly don’t download anything else but this one.

It’s the go to. Works well as a primary choice for gifs on my iPhone. There one thing I wish you all would make happen? When typing out what you want to search for, there’s no way to spell check/auto correct to spell the word correctly. So my fix is, is to just type out whatever word in the text box of the message, find the correct spelling and then use that to type correctly in to the search bar of Tenor. Also you can’t copy or paste that word from the message into the search bar of Tenor either. That’s what I’ve found to work, there’s some steps involved where there shouldn’t be it’s just a waste of time..but oh well what can you do…..

Very awesome gif app, top tier. This is my favorite gif app I like how I’m able to caption GIFs, and how I can find almost anything for the perfect reaction for my friends or family. It’s good for making my friends and family laugh and it’s even better than I can add my captions. I think it would be nicer to be able to add captions to any GIF, but some of them kind of crash, the keyboard, or they simply say “unable to caption GIF” but honestly that’s no big deal because I usually just find another one to send. Overall, it’s a great app and I hope that there will only be great improvements in the future. Thank you Tenor team.

Very fun and interactive site!!!. I absolutely love the selection of images on this site to choose from. I only have one complaint. Some of the content is very provocative for younger audiences. I was going to recommend this app to my children who are teenagers and opted not to. They are still very impressionable and have yet to understand the impact on how powerful visuals can be to the mind. Adult content should be reserved for adults and not younger audiences. Other than that one complaint, I enjoy the sight and use it often. I would rate this site 5 stars however I will give it 3 because of the questionable images strewn throughout the sight.

I do like but no updates = concerning. i do use this app often and enjoy the gifs + animating my text feature. As well as it being free and no ads. But wondering why the developer hasn't made any updates in a year? In my previous experience of other apps, its a very telling action (or inaction) in that there is usually something sketchy happening under the radar or simply the developer doesn’t care to improve the app / fix bugs / make enhancements / take in user feedback or recommendations / etc. In other words, why continue using an app the developer doesn’t care about? I do hope to be proved wrong and would be happy to change my review in that case.

Full Access is Sketch. I downloaded this app and I was going to use it because 1.4 million other people had done the same. Upon completion of the download it asked me to go into my settings and tap keyboard, then toggle the GIF keyboard to use it. After I had done that it then asked me to toggle “ALLOW FULL ACCESS”. I thought this was weird so I briefly looked into it and the first thing that I saw was that allowing full access means that the app can transmit ANYTHING you type with this keyboard. ANYTHING. Now why would they need to transmit things you type in privacy to your wife? Or something you type in confidence? And IF you don’t allow the creator of this app full access, you can’t use the keyboard. I am not going to be held hostage for some memes. In my opinion it’s always good to read the fine print. Until someone can explain why they feel the need to transmit anything I send with their keyboard, I’m passing on this one. Thanks but no thanks.

To much personal information. I was gonna get on the app like I have for over 4 and a half years and what do I se”allow access “at first I’m like what wrong with that but I always look for disclaimers and luckily I found one it said”Giving full access will be look at all texts previous and after”at first I wasn’t thinking and was like okay I can do this,couple hours later I come to put this review it’s very annoying why in the world would I have to do this and knowing I could be giving my personal information out to random strangers and my card information could be used for game updates if I’m not careful people might say I’m exaggerating but think do you think it’s a good idea to give out your card information,phone number and even address the worst part is they can see you do it all it doesn’t make sence that they havta see all your text some times I feel like it’s no worst it giving your personal information for a dumb game DONT DO It this is how people get kidnapped

Captions Stopped Working and Causes Crash. It has been months since the option to add captions to non-copyright gifs has worked (I understand not altering on copyrighted images). I am giving a three-star rating bc, without caption option, it’s just like every other gif search app… mid. Without the option to add captions myself, I find myself scrolling almost endlessly hoping to find something close to what I would have made. Very often that search ending in disappointment. Still reading this? Okay, I’d like to note that I didn’t rush over to AppStore to flame-rate this the day it crashed and stopped working. For years, this was my favorite gif maker, so I gave it it six months or so for the development team to work their magic and maybe rollout an update/fix. Still crashes when you attempt to use the captions option.

Full Access Just Isn’t Acceptable. So I’ve used this app for a while and it did its purpose. It was a little slow to load some images at times, and it’s not organized very well, but the search feature got me what I needed. The problem is the app and I guess other keyboards require full access to your phone and see everything you type or even have previously typed if you re-install. This is a crazy security risk and just too much for my liking. The company tries to downplay the significance but this is a big deal. I can’t have a random developer seeing everything I type like credit card numbers. 3 stars at first because the app generally did what it needed to do despite this huge security risk, but dropped to 2 because the app brushes past this issue and doesn’t mention it at all when instructing you to download and allow full access. It would be better to address it head on. Shady

The best gif app. I swear hands down this is the best app for gifs! I downloaded this app I am pretty sure somewhere near last year and I still use it the app and plus the best part about this gif app is that there is no bugs and no glitches and no paying a subscription to use these gifs I can literally find whatever I need except anything that is NSFW is of course banned on this app and I am very and VERY happy of that part too now for my last bit I would love to say this. If you’re looking for a gif app to use for your life I would absolutely 1000% recommend this app for you it is absolutely amazing

Awesome app, but..... I absolutely love this app! There is such a wide variety of gifs for almost anything you can think of! The only downfall so far is when trying to post a gif in a facebook comment box, it posts as a photo and not a gif! 😩 It will post in a status and a direct message, but not in a comment. I could be doing something wrong, but as far as I can tell, it just doesn't work! But, that isn’t a deal breaker for me though! I can use some of the less awesome ones provided by facebook itself! Such a well pit together app guys! Keep on keeping on!👊 ***EDIT*** APPARENTLY you cannot put a gif in an app review? But that isn’t your fault. I assume that is just one of Apple’s many limitations 👎

SOUTH TEXAS BAD BOYS FISHING & HUNTING. This app most definitely has its values it came in extremely useful in my time of need. I lost my son in an auto accident 2 months ago 😢people were calling me from all over, i could not respond at the time I was distraught I needed some time to get a grip on what happened to my son, and I was crying so much I was getting headaches! I needed some time to get a grasp on reality, knowing and understanding I will never see my son again. So I used this app to help me with the burden that I was carrying on my shoulders this app has unlimited data. I love this app!!!. I love this app. It has way more gif than the Apple keyboard ones. Anything you search up you can find it. This app even has names. Also you can add captions. They have holiday sad moments happy moment they have sassy attitude moments. These gifs just make me lol. They even have memes. At first I was not sure about whether this was a good app or not but I still got it I was amazed and the fact that about everything was free I was amazed. This app is literally superior. This is a must have app especially for children 9+ because they would love to text there friends and family funny meme and gifs. Morel of the store this app is most definitely a superior app and it’s a must have. I hope this was helpful please mark if it was helpful or not. Thanks

Absolute unit. So easy to use, a lot of variety , and you can creat “packs” to keep certain themed ones together!! So any occasion you’ll have a.mood lifter/laugh generator Togo to! I’m the quick. Draw McGraw of gifs now. I’m the comedic relief when our work group chat/dispatch get tangled up. I got a folder for me getting messages asking why I didn’t call back ORRRR why you didn’t show up? Got a folder for basic holidays birthday ones j4th ones thanksgiving Xmas all that. Even got a folder for when I helped my sister-IN-LAW when she got stuck half way under the bed or when my mother in law walks in while I’m taking a shower and drops a 2 pound McDondalds doodoo! Love ya

Don't listen to the naysayers. This app is awesome saucesome. Yes, you do have to give access to your keyboard and what not. If you're honestly worried about Riffsy spying on you and stealing your numbers/info, then you may as well prepare for the zombie apocalypse because that's what kind of a moron you are. I doubt the developers of this app had sinister motives in mind rather than letting people enjoy gifs in their texts. Anyways, get it and love using it, I know I do! It works incredibly smooth for what it does. Update: this has been working great for 6 years, why is it now having a slew of issues?

Love But Constantly Malfunctioning. Ok so cut and dry. I love this app. Truly. The past few years I’ve had it I use it almost daily. So much to choose from. Allows for specific search (which results in typically spot on accuracy according to what you searched) but also has upwards of 20 categories of the different emotions you might be trying to relay. I love that it has the ability to be both a standalone app as well as having keyboard access and functionality. I love that you can find a blank gif w/o text and then edit it so you can add your own text overlay or personalize it. AND ITS ALL FREE! Worked SEAMLESSLY for years. But now and going back to maybe 5-6 months ago, the keyboard and app itself come up when selected in a text. You can perform searches or browse with same level of accuracy and ease. You can scroll thru the available gifs without a problem. Typically, when you see a thumbnail of a gif you may want to use and then click on it, it opens that gif as a preview so you can see it in more detail. From there you can either paste it into your text, edit it, or save it to your favorites. Easy peasy lemon squeezie. But NOW when you go to select the gif in order to see it at full scale, it sends you completely back to initial welcome screen (where you see the search bar as well as the emotive categories) and the menu bar at the bottom. Now the catch is, you can still PASTE it into a text even tho it looks like it completely kicked you out before it could even be copied. This used to be intermittent when the glitches first started happening. You would select a gif and instead of the preview, you get booted to the Home Screen of the app. So you had to go thru that whole sequence several times before it would actually let you see previews. Fast forward to present day. The preview/save to favorites function is completely dead. Ousts you every single time you try to preview. It’s major bummer city. Please fix asap (for iOS 17).

Love this app!. They’re great expressions to help explain or exaggerate exactly what your trying to say or convey in your messages! It gives my texts emotional context. I love that I can find the perfect one that says it all! I know you can also make and personalize the gifs but I don’t have the patience or time to look to try to figure it out. But people even, grandmas do it, and are successful because I can see and use the GIFs they make. So It’s a great app… no complaints yet except I usually end up going down a rabbit hole while I get lost scrolling through all the options to choose from. I will even forget what I originally was looking for because I start saving the best ones and creating categories of all my fav’s! Have fun folks!

App erases your collections spontaneously. Gif Keyboard really loves to encourage users to make gif packs and save gifs to packs. What the app keeps quiet about is that it loves to erase the gifs from your packs without warning or notice. So if you have a bunch of decent “mood” gifs without any pointless text cluttering them up one week, the pack may still be there the next, but all of the gifs are gone. This app is worth minimal investment of your time and three stars at the absolute most, if only because it doesn’t attach some sort of “gif via Tenor app” garbage to every gif you send. Otherwise, don’t link it to your email. Don’t create a profile. Gif keyboard is disposable. Treat it that way. Just like how it treats users “packs”

Ugh the worst. While I love gifs & think this is the best gif keyboard out there, it leaves much to be desired. I’ve had this issue since either Riffsy rebranded to Tenor or since Google bought the app…it’s been a while. First, my empty packs wouldn’t delete. I would try to reorganize my gifs, only to have the empty pack show back up. Then, and this is the more annoying issue, my packs show up as empty. I’ve been using this app since the beginning (or if not the beginning then close to it). All the gifs in the that I have carefully cultivated into packs over the years are gone. If I add new gifs to the packs, they’ll show up temporarily. And, gifs that I’ve added to the packs show up on the cover of the pack but aren’t in the pack itself. Now, I can’t delete empty packs because what if they aren’t actually empty? I’ve emailed at least once a year about this issue, and it’s unfortunately still unresolved. As annoying as this issue is, I will still continue to use the app because, as I said previously, this is the best gif keyboard app I’ve found.

GIF App changes wud get more Stars. (2) of my friends recommended this App. (1) has an iPhone & the other a Samsung. They loved it. I've been using this for about (6) weeks and have a pretty good idea of how it works now. It's great if you want a single GIF at a time but if there are (2) or more in same section you either have to save them to your favorites right then or go back & search thru the whole list again. Also, maybe it's just me but when I add captions, but all the words don't always show up. I was told it use to word wrap & you had font/font color/font placement options. I haven't seen any of that. Those would be really nice to have. It would be great to be able to enlarge or shrink the GIF. Or even to create New GIF's within the app itself versus having to download a GIF Creator App in addition to this one. Creators/Programmers of this App will hopefully begin to make some adjustments for the better of it's user experience. Plus, please make it IOS 11 compatible or you might end up losing a lot of us because of "bugs"! I would definitely upgrade my Star Rating if even just a couple of changes for the better are made.

Great App But…. This is a great app and I had no problems for a while, but within the past couple of days, nearly all of my favorited gifs and memes have disappeared from the favorite tab. The only ones that are showing are the couple that I made, and a couple of ones that I favorited. When I search stuff I still get the “your stuff” button, and it will bring stuff up related to that search, but it doesn’t show unless I search it like that. I used to be able to scroll through my favorites. If they removed it on purpose that was a poor decision. If it is a bug they need to fix it. Also if they fix that, and add it so you can also favorite stickers this would be a perfect score from me.

LOVE!. I love this! I use it all of the time! It literally has everything. Even if the search comes up as “no results”, it still has a few different options that are close enough... it still gets the original point across. I also love how there is such a great variety! You can go all the way from sending a funny or sexy one to your boyfriend or girlfriend to sending a serious one to your boss! I used to use emojis like crazy! I mean to the point where the predictive keyboard always had an emoji on it. Now, I use this keyboard probably 5 times a day, minimum. I recommend this app if you like to laugh and have fun!

I am only writing this because. I lost a “What are the odds” prop against a ledge of the evening. How “what are the odds” works is the following: Person A may make some arbitrary statement that may prompt an unlikely action where then Person B asks, “What are the odds you do [arbitrary action just stated].” Person A would then respond, “1 in X where X is an integer between 1 and 20 depending on how unwilling they are to do the action but will accept the result if guessed correctly. After the odds are set, a countdown from three is initiated. After “one” is spoken, people A and B then say a number between 1 and x. If A and B say the same integer, then person A must follow through with the action. Otherwise, no further action is warranted.

R.I.P. Tenor (Keyboard-Only). Is Tenor TRYING to kill this app? Latest update removed Tenor from the iMessage Apps “➕” menu and is now only available if enabled as a third-party keyboard. The only two keyboards keyboards I use are the native English & Emoji keyboards. Switching between multiple keyboards for anything other than text/emoji is just a clunky user experience — especially since every other iMessage app that I use is already conveniently located in the ➕ menu. I wouldn’t normally be paranoid about allowing Full Access for a third-party keyboard (if I used them) as long as the keyboard was optional and I could still use the app from the iMessage Apps ➕ menu, but Tenor’s switch to Keyboard-Only feels like a sneaky way to make money off of my data. I can’t see any other reason for this change. If this truly is an effort by the developer to boost revenue, I wish they would just be transparent about it and make Tenor a paid app/charge for subscriptions while maintaining the iMessage App functionality that I’m used to. I don’t mind paying for quality apps (like Tenor USED to be), but the switch to Keyboard-Only destroys the UX and smells like shady business practices. I really hope the developer realizes what a huge mistake they’ve made and reverse the changes; but if not — it was fun while it lasted ✌️

This App Has Gone DownHill. Yeah it’s easy to search gifs and whatnot. That’s the /only/ thing it has going for it nowadays. I liked and downloaded this app so I could caption GIFs and it was nice at first… but then it started glitching when I tried to caption certain ones and you have to go through 50 of them before you can finally find one that will let you caption… /if/ you have the patience to find one. (And this particular problem has been happening for years mind you. Since 2017… it is now 2024… 7 whole years and this is still a persistent problem). The app developers will probably not do anything due to the high ratings it receives in the App Store as it makes it look like this app is good and everything is fine. Just be wary if you do download this app, you may be one of the ones lucky enough that this app works to its full capacity, but if you are one of the ones who have had problems with this app… you will continue to have problems with this app. It will be another 7 years and this app will work on and off but mostly off.

Glitchy app that doesn’t do what you want. Downloaded app and now my phone won’t autocorrect in anyway and has left my keyboard unable to be put back the way it was stock. This app made my regular keyboard stop working. This app wants full access to whatever you type so it can collect data and private information. The filter feature on the app also doesn’t work and there is no way to turn the filter off like the app tries to offer an option for. The gifs worked when I sent them I think but this app has messed up my phone and even sent a personal message reply to a group message on a different thread multiple times since downloading. I don’t recommend this app unless you want your privacy intruded on and your phone messaging systems and keys boards to get messed up.

The best gif app ever. I like sending gifs to friends. They are ways of displaying my mood or a way to celebrate an interest they have. They move, which is better than just an image. But the gifs on message sites are not that good and lack the zest and variety that Tenor has. With this app I have a wide array of gifs to send to cheer someone up, say I’m sorry or send a happy special day gif to people who could use it. In return they send me one and I can tell them how wonderful Tenor is and recommend it to them. Then they can send gifs to their friends. Thank you Tenor!!

DO NOT GIVE FULL ACCESS. During instillation the developer presents you two toggle options (visually inferring that both being necessary), with one toggle enabling the keyboard and the other giving full access to everything you do type, will type, and *have typed*. Including credit card information and anything else you wouldn’t want someone who isn’t the intended recipient to see. How do I know this? Because Apple actively warns you against enabling this feature when first attempting to activate it. Do the developers intend to use it as a key logger? Don’t know. But a gif keyboard app most certainly doesn’t need that level of access. In fact, there is no world in which any app - even your bank’s app - should ever get full rights to that keyboard information. It’s intentionally misleading and scummy by the developers.

Yeah does a job. Can get some GIFs but often need to search for ages to get what I want and can find it quicker on google. Maybe the search function needs to be better. Also would be good if you had an adult version as well so the gifs weren’t all PG

How awesome are GIFs. I’m in a punters club with 3 mates and we basically communicate via GIFs. The GIF Keyboard allows us to share exactly how we are feeling but in a way that appears comical even if we are intending to be brutal…. It’s perfect 🤪

Lots of use. It wanted me to rate the app so I will oblige them. I’ve had this since 2014 and I have to say the range of gifs are great. Wether it’s for showing my disappointment and judging through a Tucker Carlson gif (you know that face) or showing my patriotism on the 4th of July with a star spangled flag gif.

Great but needs Smart Keyboard support. Great app, love how you can also annotate on the gif! Though, with the Apple Smart Keyboard, it doesn’t work which is frustrating... so if I want to use this Tenor keyboard, I have to detact my Smart Keyboard. Makes it kind of unsable because of this but that’s just my use case as I use the Smart Keyboard all the time. I hope this is a fix that can happen and it’s not something that’s restricted by Apple.

LOVE LOVE LOVE!!!. Love this app! Honestly I just love gifs all together because they can express your feelings through a short clip. Only suggestion I have is to make it easier to paste the gif. Maybe make it do it automatically. Also I found that I couldn’t post a gif in a comment on my Facebook news feed. I had to open the post to post a gif in the comments.

Excellent App. I use this App on a regular basis and it covers just about any subject you can think of. Rather than trying to put your thoughts into words (not always easy) you can bet there is a gif here that can do it, AND better than any words.

Great gif’s but free version very annoying!. The choice of gif’s is great and very easy to find the topic. However, with the free version every time I want just a normal emoji, I select the world icon but instead of my regular emoji’s the “Search Tenor” page comes up as if I want to search for a gif. It gets very frustrating when I just want to do a simple “thumbs up” or “smiley face” and instead have to try and get rid of the “Search Tenor” page... grrrrr!!!

Steals your details!. This app requires you to toggle to ‘allow full access’ which gives the app access to everything you type on your phone. Completely unnecessary for functionality but after using for a week then gave me a large info bar demanding ‘full access’ in settings above my keyboard whenever I used it, across every text or otherwise! Get stuffed gif keyboard. You’ve been deleted.

Fun app. Love the gifs in this app which is why I keep it despite the frustrations with the keyboard. It seems to get stuck on capitals sometimes and is smaller than the normal apple keyboard which increases the chances of hitting the wrong letter. Apart from that, its great.

More class. Pretty good, but there are a lot of ‘tacky’ gifs e.g. ‘gangsta’ ones and even a vulgar one I accidentally came across with a ‘superwoman’ sticking her middle finger up. Not good, especially when children use this app as well. Give us more gifs that are genuinely lovely and refined

Good app but not perfect. Good app with a healthy range of Gif’s but frustrating that it only works with a wifi connection. Search bar also doesn’t allow editing of words typed without deleting everything after the error.

Must have. Sometimes when you want to illustrate your point and want a gif, this is the app to get! Has almost never let me down. The only downside (and why 4 stars) is that there aren’t frequent updates to the gifs.

Great Gifs. Pros: Has some great gifs. Cons : •can only sign up using Google. •Gifs are repetitious. •Gifs can’t be automatically pasted into the email etc. •The keyboard is so outdated and can’t even manage slide-to-type. • Every character after a typo has to be deleted, as the cursor can’t be repositioned. •No auto-correction, spelling check nor predictive texting is available. Note: Perhaps the last three Cons are due to operating system restriction.

Was perfect! Then iOS15.1?. Have used this keyboard for a long time because it does exactly what I want! Just updated to iOS15.1 and now the keyboard comes and goes at will? I have to open settings multiple times a day and re-add it as a keyboard. I haven’t changed any of my settings nor deleted the app during software update. I’ve updated to the latest version. Any advice/help would be great!

So handy. It’s great having easy access to so many gifs on my keyboard, good selection and good auto suggestions as I type. Only criticism is I can’t move cursor to correct spelling errors, I need to backspace back to error and retype. But a great app to have 👌🏻

Great range of gifs. Nice range of gifs. I particularly like the ability to type what I’m looking for and then presented with a variety, as opposed to simply having to choose from specified categories. Many times by typing the style of gif I’m looking for I come across others which I never would have found.

When words are not enough. Fantastic way to get the feelings across when you can’t put them into words. A gif for every situation.

App breaking bug. I have a 2020 iPad Pro fully updated and the Tenor app is fully updated fyi. Quite frequently when I go to use this app I open it and when I start typing it in a flash just “turns off” and take me back to my iPad Home Screen. It’s an annoying amount of times as well. Like proly every 4th or 5th time I use it. I’ve tried deleting and reinstalling as well but it’s clearly just a fault in the software and not the device I’m using as no other app I use does this at all. Other than that though you’ve got great gifs and I like the app. The stalling issue really needs sorting out though cos any worse and I’d find another app

Love the App... But tonight my gifs are no longer working! I tried sending a gif on Instagram message and also text message but they don’t move. I can see the gif moving but when I paste it, it’s not moving. They work in viber but that’s it 😔

Deleted as disruptive banner was annoying. Didn’t really get a chance to explore this App as I deleted it within 2 days or so of downloading. I did not want to give the App full access to my keyboard for privacy reasons. As such, the App ALWAYS had a banner sitting above my keyboard (no matter what App I was in) prompting me to give full access. I could not remove this banner, and it was very disruptive, so I deleted the App. I am giving this feedback here as a review as I could not find a contact or feedback button inside the App prior to deleting.

Makes everything better. I have created some awesome gifs thanks to this app. I love creating evil content and writing words that blaspheme jesus dykes. Oliver grabbed the chalice from the tabernacle and put his hands in it and took some holy consecrated hosts. Throw the Eucharist in the dirt and trample on the body of Christ

Not working!!. Used to work perfectly in messages. Since on of the last couple of iPhone updates, it is a two-click process to use. And, does always come up. Haven’t been able to send messages with a gif, periodically. A bit frustrating.

Love this app accept for one thing. I use this app often and so many GIFS to choose from but when it pops up on my screen "Enable Full Access to use the GIF Keyboard" if you go to settings to allow it sais they can use any information you have typed including sensitive information such as credit card info banking info ect....😱 It would be 5 stars but with this warning they can use sensative information i knockit down to two stars 😔

Access to whatever you type. Giving it full access gives it the ability to retrieve whatever you typed on your keyboard, even before you installed it. Credit card numbers, passwords, etc ... Good luck!

Personal information compromised.. The app provides fun and good gif pictures. But it is said to collect personal information, including everything the user types on the phone. Confusing. I am definitely not technically savvy and I don’t understand how this works. I HAD a magnifying glass that came with my iPad, but kept losing it, so got this. I like the pictures, the choices are great. They are suitable for me(68 year old grandma) to a young person. I just want to know how to send them with regular texts that I send to my daughter! My 13 year old grandson wouldn’t have a problem, but I have lost the ability to write texts as easily as I did before installing this program and I have difficulty getting the pictures to go to the right places.

Love it! Wish the packs is would open though. I really love this app as I’m a really expressive person and it’s hard to represent myself through texts. I often just send very specific gifs as responses. Especially during Covid, this has been a really great app for messenger :) In the app, you can create packs to categorize your favorite gifs. This used to work very well, but now it never opens any of them so I basically lost all of my favorited Gifs. ^not really complaining since I like using this messenger app so much. Just wanted to mention it in case it’s a glitch or something. Thanks for this app add on :)

Security warning. I’ve had this app for a while and all of a sudden it was “booted” from my phone. I’m not sure why that happened maybe when I upgraded phones. However when I reinstalled it I had to “authorize” the app which I never needed to before. When I tried Apple gave me a warning that the app logs all keystrokes which could include any passwords, credit cards or banking information that I enter with my keyboard!! So basically by using this app I’m willingly installing a keylogger on my phone. Holy cow! No thanks. Hopefully it wasn’t like that before and all my info is already compromised they just didn’t disclose it when I had it originally OR maybe their change in terms caused Apple to force me to redownload it making authorization necessary.

Cool gifs but.... I really love using thing in messages but when your looking for a straight forward meaning to a word like thanks or your welcome it gives so many different versions before you might come across 1 or 2 (if your lucky )of the meaning your looking for. Which is fine for some things but for the things you need a simple thanks or please or your welcome it's hard sometimes to find one. They need to add a few more simple meanings, I mean not everything is joke worthy some things are simply basic.

I LOVE THIS APP. Although I’ve on,y been using this app for a short time I believe that I have found my sanctuary with this app. It is the best app that I’ve ever had! If I was only allowed one app besides call and text this would be it. I cannot tell you how great the veriaty is of the gifs of this app, you can also access it from your keyboard, an instant gold star! I also like how it also has a bunch of gifs for your emotions and perfect for all situations! I cannot possibly explain the greatness of this app unless you try it yourself! Please do I encourage you to! Please try it it’s awesome!

Overall satisfied but... I’m overall satisfied but I wish that the last category you looked at would still be there the next time you go into look around. I chose an image, copy it into a text, then go back in to look for more and I have to tie in my category again. Sometimes I copy them to make it easier to read. This is when it is more annoying. The other thing is that I wish you had more interracial couple pictures. Not all couples are two white people. Please add more black/white images.

Good, just needs a little help. I Really enjoy this app. It helps me tremendously with my sarcastic responses. And, as everyone who knows me knows, I am quite the smart “alec”. The only reason I give 4 stars and not 5 is because half of the time I can’t use it. The app simply refuses to allow me to choose or look up anything. Also, I can’t caption anything anymore. 🤷🏻‍♂️ if these were fixed, I’d give 5 stars. Anyway, hope this review helps 👍continue giving everyone a little help being a smart ”alec”.

Debilitating crash issues. It crashes half the time I search for a gif and even more when I caption one, just at the point where I go to copy it. It tends to have more and better options than the other gif apps I’ve used but I tend to opt for the others too often because of the crashing. It used to operate better but seems to have gotten worse and worse. Other reviews indicate they’ve had the same issues, but those were resolved when they realized staying signed in fixed them. So I’ll see if that fixes my problems and update the review accordingly

Hope this helps. It would be nice if your saved “star”Items were not by category! If it’s a favorite it’s a favorite. But I don’t see that’s how you store them too bad. Maybe you can fix this. I just want to see all my starred but I have to choose a word and then I think when mine runs out you start putting in ones I never saved?? Not a good system. When I start something I like I want to reuse it not hunt for it. Would be faster if I just didn’t use this option

Tenor Keyboard Review by DorthyMae. I really enjoy using the new Tenor Keyboard due to the fact that it already has categories to chose from upon searching for a certain GIF to use. Prior to having access to this awesome updated keyboard, I would, at times, have to search for several minutes before reaching my objective in feeling good about the emotion that I am sending to the person on the receiving end of my written conversation. Therefore this Tenor Keyboard has made it so much easier in truly finding what I am looking for when sending a GIF within a message. Kudos to the inventor of the Tenor Keyboard!

Poor Accessibility for the Blind. I wish I could love this app. I really do. I miss out on sharing gifs and Memes with my friends. I can read through the categories. However, once I select a category voiceover does not see the gifs in that category. It skips over that section on the screen entirely. Once it is mapped for voiceover access and appropriately tagged with descriptions, I will be able to enjoy that app as everyone else does. Developers don’t realize what a large demographic they are missing out on when they don’t follow apples accessibility guidelines and instructions. When developers make their apps and content accessible per apples guidelines, they will find the apps will be easier to work with and the apps will function more reliably. Accessibility actually makes programs more stable.

My saved gifs continue to disappear. For the last year, my gifs randomly disappear. I have created numerous theme boards with hundreds of saved gifs and some of these boards will randomly become completely empty - every single thing once saved to it just vanishes. It’s beyond annoying. I’ve trying logging out and back on but that doesn’t fix anything. I have no idea why this continues to happen but I’ve grown to hate this app because of it. *Note: I’m now having tons of issues with the app glitching where I can’t use the keyboard at all. Anytime I try to use the search, get to favorites, anything, it glitches and sends me back to a regular text. I’m about to delete it completely and move to GIPHY.

Done with this. I have used this app a lot, but today I’m done. I don’t want to give full access to my photos. I know that’s needed to save images, but I have no need to save them. I just want to send them. Two things changed for the worse with the latest update. Full access to photos is now required or the images can’t be accessed. Why MUST the developers have access to my photos? It’s frankly suspicious. It didn’t used to be REQUIRED. Second, in messages for IOS 17, there is a + that gives access to these gif images apps and GIF Keyboard had been in that menu, but now it’s under the globe button. Why was it moved and is inconsistent with the IOS 17 design? Annoying. Otherwise, this app is great, but the photos access requirement is a show stopper.

Legitimized App Review & High Recommendation. I actually find Gif Keyboard is very user-friendly with a great growing variety of relatable content to utilize for adding that needed visual effect matching the mood/vibe of the text conversation. I do highly recommend downloading and utilizing it with the ever-growing technological-savvy way we communicate with the era in constant state of change. Should you decide to, smart-device with full application access to apply, I can assure you that you shan't be disappointed! Yes... I did just say, "shan't". 😬😄

Why do you need full access to use?. I didn’t have a lot of memory on my phone so I deleted this app sadly lost all my fave gifs but it was taking up like 2gb...then I was able to redownload it and it’s asking for full access to be able to use it...that means whenever you type ANYTHING anywhere while on your phone...they are able to access that information. And if you disable it and turn it back on it can access anything you typed while it was disabled. This is a free app with no add-on purchases, why do you need access to everything I type including debit/credit card info, addresses, texts, other sensitive info, etc? It’s unnecessary and so I deleted it AGAIN. Sad bc I love this app, it has the best gifs but I don’t want my card info being accessible to an app in some weird sneaky way.

Pretty good. I can find all the gifs I need which is pretty much all I can ask for. I don’t use this app very much, but it’s pretty good. The only 2 things is 1. It moves kind of slow but I understand that and 2. I think it’d be great if there was a way to save your favorite/frequently used gifs rather than looking them up all the time especially since some of them are kind of hard to find. I like that you can save the gifs in your notes or something to keep them, but that kind of defeats the purpose of having the keyboard. Which btw I never open the app I only use the keyboard so maybe there IS a way to save your favorite gifs and I just don’t know about it.

App suggests hate speech as tags. I wrote tenor 2 weeks ago about suggested words that are considered hate speech and they haven’t done anything about it. When searching for gifs from “Little People, Big World”, tenor suggests a derogatory term directed towards people with dwarfism. Tenor has obviously blocked other derogatory terms for other groups of people, but here is one that remains and tenor won’t fix it. Imagine if you searched for the show “Empire” and the “n” word was suggested! This is no different. Hate speech is hate speech! Tenor suggested that I click each gif and report any gif with the term in it. That’s ridiculous! Especially since tenor suggests the word themselves. Let’s all stand up for each other and take down all hate speech. No one deserves to be labeled, especially by big companies… it’s disgusting!

Won’t use again.. My last review my issues were fixed and I took a break for a bit because I was angry. I decided to give this app one last go. It was working great! I spent days working on getting all the gifs I found in specific packs and it was working fine. Then the same issues that was fixed came up again where the gifs weren’t showing in the pacs. I contacted them about this issue and how it’s been a constant problem, they got back to me but didn’t fix the problem. I’m extremely frustrated and angry. I’ve wasted so much time and having this issue come up again is completely infuriating. If I could give 0 stars I would. Go to Pinterest instead, you’ll find the same gifs and more. Pinterest is dependable and they won’t have your items just randomly disappear.

This app has given my gif game legendary status.. My preferred method of communication is with gifs. At least with my homey’s and my girl anyways. This app has enough variety to allow you to pull up at least something on the weirdest, most niche topics in seconds. Lightning fast gif responses once deemed impossible, is now the way. Another great point to make is that Tenor chooses to allow far more provocative subject matter than the other vanilla, pg13 gif apps. This is the app you want if you are a dirtbag like myself. What do you have to lose? Give it a shot.

Just fun and great. This is more like a 4.7 ⭐️ review, the only reason I think it’s not 5 is for 2 things: • the text field could use some improvement (sometimes if I mistyped something I cannot place the cursor to fix it or use regular autocorrect to fix the word so have to delete all I typed till where I made the mistake • the constant intrusive request to rate But aside from that, it is just a great source of finding gifs, much better than what native suggestions from apps like Messenger, LINE, iMessage, and thing is that it acts as a keyboard so it is compatible across apps, so no need to install separate widgets per App.

SUPER FUN WITH ENDLESS CHOICES OF CUTE GIFS. My daughter recommended this app to me when I asked her where she got all of the funny, adorable little things she sends to me. You can have complete conversations without typing in a single word, just using all the gifs. Whatever emotion or sentiment you want to convey, there are tons of gifs to send. That might be the only negative thing I can say about this app ~ there are so many awesome gifs to choose from, it’s hard to pick one! This app has made texting much more fun. Highly recommend!

READ THIS IF YOU WANT TO GET IT. I rated two stars since well reason one is that it is a useless app. If you want to have a bunch of Gifs then go ahead and buy it. But like let’s be real you can barely do anything on this app and to be honest it is just like a waste of storage. Reason two you can multiple gifs on just like the image thing that comes with all devices and they are almost the same gifs. In conclusion if you want an app to waste you storage and download an app just to get basically the same Gifs that you could get without downloading an app then go ahead and get it, but other than that you should not get this app it is pointless and useless.

Disappointed. The app worked very well at first but after a while the GIFs no longer moved on facebook or everywhere I tried to share them. Recently, most of the time I tried sharing GIFs from this App the GIFs weren’t moving and appeared to be basic n’ average pictures and NOT fun n’ moving images. I thought perhaps it was due to the recent Apple iOS update but it’d been a few weeks and the problem persists. The App has only become less reliable and more impossible to use. Tried and failed to use it today 4 times. Went to the keyboard, copied the GIF I want to use despite the fact that it may end up frozen and just be a still image... tried to paste it as my status and it won’t paste. I tried to do it again, select all, copy ... paste... and it’s not working. This app is busted.

Scam or not?. Let’s be honest, full access? Why would full access be needed to add these amusing animations? I quote “ These keyboards can access all of the data you type, including bank account and credit card numbers, street addresses, as well as other personal and sensitive information. These keyboards may also access nearby text or data, which is useful for improving autocorrect functionality.” Why must this app be allowed and permitted to access my PRIVATE information to function? If I’m being entirely honest, I find this shady and a large deterrent to anyone looking for a trustworthy app. Regardless, some animations are humerus. Though not worth the risk.

Great alternative GIF source!!!. You know all those times you search in the native GIF database and the search finds no results? Whether it’s because it’s a niche word or something that THEY deem profane, you just can’t seem to find it? Well look no further… if it can’t find the exact thing you’re looking for, it will at least suggest things similar. Never has a search come up blank. There are also some absolutely hilarious GIFs that most of your friends probably haven’t seen. Glad I downloaded it!

Why are you should download this app?. It is great for when you are texting people and they send you something funny and you can send them a funny picture back. There is no pain or anything once you download the app it is easy to use it and it’s not hard it’s great for kids to because they have some funny stuff that kids would like overall is a great app and I think that you should get it because it has no ads. No nothing once you download it is free and you know and there’s nothing much to do after that.

Lots more gifs. Love this gif keyboard app. The search feature is a lot more forgiving and able to get closer to what you’re looking for when you’re not sure what to type, compared to the default one built into iPhone texting app or others I’ve tried. The one thing I don’t like is that oftentimes many of the options will have the exact same text written on the gif itself, when I’d rather convey the sentiment with just the visual and no words. But all in all it’s my favorite and I use it all the time, for about a year now.

LIFE ALTERING APP. This app is literally the most amazing thing since someone created a perfect meme the very first time. My texts are always pretty funny and I express myself great (I think ) with punctuation and a smiley here and there ,but the moment I was able to express my feelings in a short moving picture ....?🤯 my husband and I even have the greatest time with gifs. It’s my favorite app of all apps so far . Everyone should have this keyboard .ive even recommended and successfully at that ,to 5 of my peoples so far! Husband ,mom ,best friend and 2 reg. Better than the rest!!. By far the best keyboard that I have found, and I have tried mini. I love that it has content restriction options and I guess you can say adult like maybe because I have a gnarly sense of humor, but also most keyboards don’t have stickers and G capital I capital F options like this app does it is the only keyboard that I will use! Hands-down five star, and I also love that so many options. If you can copy, you can save you can post right to the message super easy to use and never anything wrong with it rarely a bug!

Used to Love it..... Used to give it 5 ⭐️ ‘s but now it crashes 9 out of 10 times all of the sudden when I am trying to either select a gif and/or put my own meme/words on it....n forget it all of the sudden I can’t even select a gif to copy. It instantly goes bck to the start. So bummed bc I used it all the time and I am abt to delete the keyboard bc it’s taking up space and I might as well find a keyboard like it that actually works...when it actually does work the gif’s are great and I can usually find one for most conversations if I want to or topics that r hilarious but some wld be even better if I cld write like I used to be able to....hopefully will be an update to fix soon....? Great. I love the ease of searching, saving, and sending gifs using this keyboard. Search terms are provided as you type, so you can click when the intended word or phrase comes up. I’ve not had an issue finding the gif I want to use. The only issue I’ve had is that sometimes when I post a gif by copying it, it is a still photo and doesn’t move. I can get around that by saving it to my phone as a video, but that’s only AFTER I post the gif and then delete it because it doesn’t move. Kind of annoying; not the end of the world Very easy to use and I would recommend.

GIF keyboard can be added to your main keyboard. I truly love having this GIF keyboard readily available. It makes it SO EASY to send birthday wishes along with Christmas, New Year’s, Easter, 4th of July, etc…! You can also find the GIF you want and ADD A CAPTION to personalize it for the person you are sending it to! You can look through hundreds of GIFs with any keyword like "birthday for best friend or Happy Halloween witch", etc. I use it for EVERYONE’S birthday and it can literally take 30 seconds! I’ve been using this for maybe 8 years or so and it’s FREE! I highly recommend getting this GIF keyboard!

More tedious to use with recent changes. When text messaging, I used to be able to go right to the Tenor by pressing the + sign. Someone apparently decided this was too convenient so now you have to use a whole new keyboard to use it. They also decided that scrolling horizontally to peruse GIFs was a good idea instead of maintaining the vertical scrolling we all had gotten used to. Still the best selection of GIFs around for texting, but more of a hassle and for no seemingly good reason.

Fun stuff. I have successfully annoyed my wife for well over 6 months with this thing. It’s great when she is mad at me because I can communicate better with pictures than words sometimes. So when I am having hear about how I didn’t do something for the hundredth time I can just send her a gif of someone else sticking their tongue out. It’s equally useful for setting “the mood”. Sending her a gif of a spring bouncing or something popping up out of a hole let’s her know what to expect at bedtime and to start working on her headache now.

Most fun especially if you’re a little BiPolar and haven’t been sleeping well.. Biggest addictive waste of time - definitely not out of the closet with time spent! Let’s say it’s 6 pm when I intend to send a quick message for a little laugh... it’s dark and even my victims in Sweden Paris Seattle etc have gone to bed! And it’s 330 am for me and the birds are chirping... every one of them and right near my open window ! Love love love... I amuse myself for hours... and then wind up waking people up because I tend to have to send them in my personal hysterical laughter moment !

New update is bad. Can’t access gifs. Makes the app obsolete. With the new update I cannot access all the gifs I have cultivated/accumulated in my “Packs”. I have 3 Packs, each with about over two dozen gifs. But with the new update, I now can only see two or three from the entire pack. And I know they are still saved bc when I search specifically for one I want, it pops up with the indicator that it is saved to a Pack. But this is dumb. Bc I don’t remember all the gifs I saved, which is why I saved them. Why even have packs at all if I can’t see what I saved? Taking it further, why even have the app at all if I can’t properly save and retrieve gifs? Might as well use Google if I’m gonna have to search every single time I want a gif. Might as well delete this now obsolete app...

FUN but DEADLY at your own risk. I love this app until I realize the retractions. Once you download you read terms and conditions and you think, wow! Easy enough. until you get to settings keyboard, giving the app full access. I don’t think anyone would want the developer of this app to have access to sensitive information, like credit card or personal address. Anything you text on IM the developer will see it ☹️. Such a cool application, but open for identity theft. What if the developer quit and decide to get revenge by targeting costumers?

The GREAT App. Every text message I send, to either friends or family, always has a bit of funny in it. Therefore, to make the funny funnier, I follow it with a lovely GIF. This application here, as absolutely everything you desire in a GIF app. When the search section gape for your eyes you’ll consider sending a pulchritudinous GIF as an expression of your feelings all the time. A laughter, a cry, anger, make each text meaningful. The possibilities are endless. So do not consider not getting this app. Get the app and dive into the world of sending a moving picture.

UPDATE: will add couple more stars back as I found where you put the app; it’s in “Stickers” and depending on how things were positioned you might not see GIF unless you tap side arrow. Makes it harder to go to. Also seems little glitchy trying to use! Wish update had given tip/advice. Hope it gets changed back to pre-update position that was so easy. Would be 4 stars then. Most recent update broke app so that the switch for “iMessage apps” no longer places the app on the iMessage list as it did before so it can be used, so I cannot access the app In iMessage at all. Hope you fix soon. Want to rate app higher.

Far superior but no longer on Slack. The gif keyboard is undeniably better than any other gif app and it would get minimum 4 stars, but probably 5, if not for the unexpected removal from the Slack app. I, and thousands of others, have spent the past 3+ hours distracted and hazy from the inability to accurately express myself at work. Picture the narcos lost gif (well, not on Slack obvi), or the Homer monkey cymbals gif if I’m in a meeting. Given the exponential increase of remote work over the past two years which have been hard enough, it is disappointing and, dare I say, shocking that Tenor has taken this brash and ill-thought course of action. It won’t let me use. So I tried everything to get this to work it finally worked but then it’s sending me to a screen that I needed to sign in I was so confused then I saw one review was very bad so then I’m like oh that’s why then my mind went to the other reviews were so good so maybe I have the Rona iPad but no it doesn’t very good I tried and tried and tried and then you lead me to that😡 I am disappointed I also tried signing in again and guess what it is I did it then it didn’t work this is a scam I left it two stars because if it was money then it would be a scam and someone would report it so good job making it free I guess if you’re reading this is the one who made this I am very disappointing you and everybody who helped you this is a total scam

Uploads DO NOT work!. I’ve tried contacting this seller numerous times and provided detailed information plus numerous supporting screenshots... after all these weeks I FINALLY received a worthless reply on directions to “upload”! I already know how to use the “upload” feature (DUH!) but my detailed inquiries and screenshots clearly demonstrate that the uploads simply DO NOT work. I replied to said email a week ago and (of course) no reply back nor a fix. My uploads on both the app and the keyboard shortcut show black screens! Plus I cannot copy/share my uploaded black icon gifs ... it’s utterly useless. Such a giant waste of time. FIX YOUR BROKEN APP AND REPLY TO ME WITH AN INTELLIGENT REPLY FOR A FIX PLEASE.

Tin or TENOR. Love it so much I can finally communicate properly through text!!!!!!! Luckily I’m not fully blind yet! Soon after I’ve lived and created my favorites I’ll know how to fine find then them. I’m the right in sections….. sections I’ve created for it/if I go blind quicker than the doctor or nurses say! Apps I like to use. My granddaughter who is 10 is a Yankees baseball fan return she knows more than I do about the apps she changed the lady that I am supposed to be to a Yankee lady I do not know how to change her to a Cardinal fan because I live in Missouri return I like to use the features like how I am feeling happy sad or whatever return sometimes things do not come out the way I want them to because when I use the microphone it does not understand me. Oh it did that time it actually put a period at the end of the sentence return have a nice evening

Doesn’t work seamlessly. I held off adding this to my iPhone as it creeped me out to give them access to takeover my keyboard After adding it it hasn’t really worked properly It will pre-empt my emoji keyboard and I’ll have to click through to get emojis as opposed to their keyboard This is not a major hassle but moderately frustrating as sometimes I prefer using an emoji over a gif As a gif keyboard it does not work as advertised I do a search for a gif, I find the one I like, it says it’s copied above and it isn’t I’ll cut and paste it and when I do instead of having a full gif it captures a still from the gif and posts that instead Overall I’d say this is more a a detractor to the functionality of my phone and I wish I hadn’t added it Also, every 5 times I click it asks for a review, I’ve avoided doing it until now but here you have it.
