Great app awesome game. I’m a big JD fan, been playing the game every year since JD3, back in Brazil, so I’ve followed all the technologies that the game was available on. Stated with Nintendo wii and those heavy controllers, then Xbox 360 and the freedom of movement with Kinect and now with Xbox One which I’ve been using my phone as a controller - yay!. Since I’ve traded my phone in a bigger one I started to feel less comfortable to play with. Right arm and hand sore for holding it tight to not hit anyone or break anything. What if we have a version of this app for wearables, like Apple Watch? Well, I’m not a developer savvy but I believe your team can come up with a solution for this. I would even consider actually getting a Apple Watch just to comfortably play my favorite game of all. And please let me know if you guys actually work on this idea. Thank you for reading this ;)

I get disconnected all the time. When I first got this game, the controls were working fine but the more I danced, it got worse. I get disconnected even in the middle of songs which is annoying if I am on the world floor. I am not able to get decent scores while using this app. One time I got disconnected then I reconnected, and 10 seconds after I got disconnected again! The worst part is that I already spent $60 to buy the game, and to get the Kinect is another $100 with an adapter of $60. I can not afford the Kinect so hopefully there is an update that fixes some of the bugs soon. It is also unfair to people who have a Kinect because it tracks both arm moments (thus earning more points) while the phone controller only tracks one arm. I've heard people complain about this before so hopefully the Just Dance company will make it fair for everyone. I really hope that this review is put into consideration for the next update. Well it started out ok.... Well I’ve been play Just Dance for a while now and I’ve occasionally used the smartphone controller. I’ve always played on my PlayStation 4 with the move controllers and those have been my go-to. I just got 2022 on my PlayStation 5 and 2 days In and I’m having connection problems. I never really expected this from Just Dance. But it’s like the Wi-Fi thing where both devices have the same connection and they won’t connect with the game. I don’t know why. So Ubisoft, please fix this error or bug. I love Just dance a lot so I would appreciate it so much.

Good app but needs A LOT of work.. First of all, there is a lot of bug issues. Sometimes my app is working perfectly for some of the dance moves but then other times i’m doing the exact dance moves and getting an X no matter what i do. This makes me restart my app and xbox and it’s back to being good again. Also recently i’ve tried to connect my phone to my xbox to play just dance and the app keeps crashing! Sadly i had just bought a just dance unlimited for one month so i hope this stupid issue gets fixed soon! It’s just disappointing. the phone controller instead of a censor was smart, but it doesn’t work properly :(

It was working great. The first time I played it the phone connected perfectly! Then today I tried to connect the phone to my Xbox but, it said “Your Xbox do not allow your smartphone to the device” First, I have a IPod. Second, it was working just fine before! Third the information that they give you to fix it and guess what? IT DID NOT MAKE SENSE!!!!!!!!! Oh and I was enjoying it!!!!! Please fix whatever is wrong with it.😔😾 IT KNOWS WHAT I WANT!!!!😡😡😡😡 And sometimes it works! Let me tell you there is either a glitch or it hates me!!!! YOU MAKE THE CALL!!!!! 😡😡😡😡

Can you super order games please please please. Works perfectly fine. All these reviews are just people with non stable wifi! That’s it! It works perfectly fine for me. Scores very well, navigating and connecting is super easy, very convenient when having multiple people play. I like how you just have to swipe to navigate through the menu and I really like the “ready” feature when playing with multiple players since you can make sure everyone chooses the ideal coach they want to follow. Confused on who you’re supposed to copy? Look at your phone! Confused on which player color you are? Look at your phone! It’s perfect when you have stable connection and Just Dance Unlimited ads even more fun. Sometimes it glitches and says it can’t connect but just delete the app, reset your WiFi, and tinker with it. If you got stable wifi this is the perfect app to use, no extra accessories required.

Why?. I have been a huge fan of this game and played it on every console since the original Just Dance. Playing on wii with the controllers were fine since it was easy to hold the controller and there was a strap. With Xbox it was great because the camera allowed for free hand movements. Yes sometimes it didn’t register but not a super big deal for me. Now I got this game for Ps5 and bought the camera thinking I would have the option. Now your asking me to swing my super expensive iPhone and dance? This was poor design. At least give an option to use your phone or camera. I’m more worried about tossing my phone when I dance so it’s just not a fun experience. Just really disappointed with the decision choosing to only have your phone as a controller.

Need Strong WiFi. So I just recently bought Just Dance 2021 on the PS5 because it was on sale. At first, the game and controller app would not stay connected for more than a minute. But my PS5 is kinda far from the WiFi router, so I don’t entirely blame the game. I ended up buying a $20 WiFi extender and hooked the PS5 up to it with a LAN cable for a faster connection. Honestly it was a blessing in disguise. Now Disney+ doesn’t lag anymore either lol. So as long as you have a strong WiFi connection, the app and game works fine.

Not a good review. I’m having the issue of trying to connect my phone to the just dance controller every time I always try to connect it it always says “Error can’t connect. Check your Wi-Fi!” But my Wi-Fi is perfectly fine which I don’t understand because I always try to see if there’s any new updates or anything. I have to try to see what I can fix for but it still doesn’t work!!! it’s very frustrating because I really want to dance to just dance. So for anybody that wants to get the “Just Dance Controller app”, there are a few things you want to be aware of. I wouldn’t recommend playing with the smartphone.

Wayyy too sensitive, and needs a Watch app!!. I used the controller app since I don’t have a Kinect. It seemed to work fine. Well, now I am literally mimicking the dance spot on and I’m getting “Ok” and “Missed.” The other version of Just Dance with real controllers haven’t given me this issue. It seems more to do with the smartphone tracking than anything. Even my friends were complaining how off it was. I’d also like to see an Apple Watch app for this. I mean cmon, it’s 2021. If it has all the accelerometers and gyroscopes built into the Apple Watch, then it should be utilized so we don’t have to hold our gigantic phones to play.

Worked at first but am so disappointed. I’ve been playing Just Dance with a phone since 2018. It’s been 4 years and i’m so disappointed. I started on 2018 with an iPod because that’s all i had. It never really worked for me so I gave up on it thinking it was the device. Then I finally got a phone and tried it with 2019, but the same thing occurred. At that point, I didn’t bother purchasing 2020 and 2021 because of my phone issue. Then when i got a new phone and bought 2022, I was finally expecting it to work. And at first it did! Although it would crash sometimes, it didn’t bother me all to much. Then recently, the app altogether has stopped working. I’ve tried repairing the Wifi, I tried getting the newest update on my phone, I’ve tried to restart my phone thousands of times, i’ve tried fixing my xbox in every shape and form but no sign of the app connecting to my xbox. I am super disappointed and probably won’t play again, unless i get a kinect (and you know how hard it is to get your hands on one).

Really bad software. My whole family and I were playing this game for months with no issues. Suddenly one of our phones kept disconnecting whenever the profile owner tried to get on. Then it was their phone wouldn't connect at all. Then the next phone would only connect for one song. Then we’d have to delete and reinstall the app and use two phones for one person. So one of us could dance and the other dancer had to switch phones on each song and delete the app and reinstall each time. Now all four of our phones won't connect. Almost seems like a trick to get use to shell out the funds for the knecht. Horrible set up on a game we used to love so much.

What happened??. This app used to work flawlessly with no problems and all of a sudden when i'm trying to connect to my switch like i did millions of times before, it's all of a sudden not connected to the internet. i've been using the same internet connection since i've been playing this game and i actually liked playing on my phone so i didn't use the joy-cons that frequently. another problem that i started having recently before it started saying that i'm not connected to the internet was that the controller kept disconnecting and reconnecting causing me to lose points throughout the game. songs that i normally got superstar or megastar on with my joy-con i started getting only 5 or less stars because of this problem. please fix the app or i'm gonna just return the game.

iPhone connection issues. We had Just Dance 2019. It connected easily, no issues, no codes to enter. We got Just Dance 2020 today and phone would not connect. As other reviewers noted, you have to turn off cellular data for iPhone to connect. Don’t know why this wasn’t an issue for JD 2019. App developer should include this troubleshooting since it’s such a common iPhone issue instead of just asking if phone and Xbox are on the same WiFi network. We were in an endless failure to pair loop. My thanks to other reviewers for calling out this problem.

It WAS working great but it crashes now. This app was working very well for me! I honestly find it a lot easier to get Megastars using it rather than the camera. However just a few days ago it started to crash whenever I started using it. I tried multiple phones too and they didn’t work. I actually tried my iPad too, which somehow worked, yet it’s very hard to use as you could imagine. I am also very very close to getting megastar on Kill This Love extreme, which would be my first Extreme megastar, but the app started to crash right before I mastered it. I really want to get megastars on the other extremes too, but I can’t do so without the app. I don’t know why it crashes now, but it would be awesome if you could fix it! Thanks!

Doesn’t Work!!! 😡😡. I bought this game for the ps4 and heard and read how it is compatible with your smartphone (I have the iPhone XR). So, seeing that I had no ps move controller or camera, I do have a phone so I went ahead with buying it. Everything thing starts and loads up fine, I’m getting pretty excited to play the game by then. The MOMENT the app pairs with the game, the app crashes EVERY. SINGLE. TIME. I’ve restarted my phone, deleted and reinstalled the app, and refreshed my network, and NOTHING. I still haven’t gotten a chance to play it and just wasted my money. Sony won’t refund if they see that the game has been started, but it’s worth a shot if I explain this situation to them. I have always been a fan of Just Dance, but this was and is a HUGE letdown 😡😡 Hopefully they fix and/or update this issue soon.

Great app for just dance. It’s a great app for just dance but there’s a problem .... I’ve been using this app for almost 2 years and I stoped playing it for weeks and yesterday I tried to play the game with my phone and when I tried to connect my phone it crashed I thought I needed to update my phone and I had to update my phone and when I did it would still crash I was very disappointed I wanted to dance please fix this problem!

Ok. I am so glad that I can play with the smartphone, especially with friends. It would be cool to have an option to type out the songs here for searching otherwise it is way too complicated treating the phone like a joystick when there are times I can type with the phone already. I have not tried it yet, but I am wondering whether you can do a mixed game with controllers and phones. If not, that would be cool as well. I am satisfied, but many features are missing making it harder to enjoy the game

Network errors ftw. Network errors are making me fall out of love with the game. I am frustrated because it feels like a money waste (and Just dance games or just dance unlimited are not cheap). Every morning I try to play and I can’t even complete a song without getting the errors, my progress gets lost and I also lose the challenges. The game randomly starts to look choppy and then connection error. I don’t know if this is related to the servers or having to use the phone, but the whole experience is really frustrating. I used to wake up excited to exercise and now this whole thing keeps happening and souring my mornings. I wish the game was at least what I paid for...

App cannot connect to xbox one just dance 2020. Bought this game about 3 weeks ago so my kids could do some exercise at home during lockdown due to covid-19. Using my iphone as the controller as I do not own a connect for xbox one. The app was working fine for the first week. Then my kids had 2 weeks of vacation. Back to online school this week and trying again to connect but at no avail. I looked at the online support and am doing all the steps as outlines there but when it connects, it drops the connection immediately as well. Yes same wifi etc, checked everything. Now we cannot use the game anymore. Wish I could get my $50 back as it is useless now. Very disappointed and so are my kids, because they had fun while it lasted (for about a week).

Okay until... It worked perfectly I was very satisfied I’ve had just dance for years, been playing many of them for about 4 or 5 years now I switched to the app about 2 years ago though. The app is great! It worked, it was less expensive than cameras and it still works almost just as well but recently it jus keeps kicking me off ! Like I will log on and then it just kicks me off . I tried to delete it and reinstall it but it didn’t work and it’s very irritating. Please fix this glitch.

JUST DANCE FIX YOUR APP!. Ok first off I’m trying to set up the game and it says that it’s only for ps4 players??? Then the just dance controller app says that they updated it to basically every console. So I paired it and it keeps on saying does my ps4 and my phone have the same WiFi? Like I have an Xbox. So I just said yes because I thought their was etc. Apparently their wasn’t. When I clicked yes for a random reason it says that they can’t pair. Which frustrates me a lot because I have all the just dance games throughout the years and they all seemed to work perfectly fine until Just Dance 2021. So this was just a waste of money. Just Dance better fix their app problem because I’m not buying a kinetic sensor for $500. Btw I got this for Christmas so it was just a waste of money for my parents. JUST DANCE FIX YOUR APP!

Great!. Dearest Ubisoft and Just Dance developers, I cannot express how impressed I am with this app. Its sleek, beautiful design and multiple features for sure make it a winner. I just have a few suggestions: 1. Maybe regular Wii compatibility? I understand how old Wiis are, but maybe a more simple Wi-Fi signal output would do the trick, considering most Wiis can connect to Wi-Fi. 2. Maybe the ability to change your avatar and name without signing in? I am I'm 6th grade and apparently "everything matters"😂 I hope you consider those suggestions for the app. However, I do have a few more suggestions for Just Dance itself: (these are totally random and might not even be possible?) 1. I know how much people love custom made things, so it'd be cool if you could come up with a custom dance. First, you could pick one of the premade avatars from the other songs. Then, you could make your own moves to the duration of the song. The avatar would mirror you, you could then save it, name it and play it with your friends! 2. You could make a whole other app specifically made for iPad. (Not iPad Mini, just anything that measures bigger than or equal to and iPad screen. You could do the same with Samsung or other devices. Maybe even computers. Then, using the same controller app, prop your iPad up and play Just Dance on there! (They would have to buy the different editions mobily.) is that even a word ?!?😂😂 I hope you take these into serious consideration! Thanks so much!

It’s not working on my iPod. I like this app and all it just doesn’t work on my iPod and it’s kinda getting annoying having to use my parents iPhone to play just dance and like I’m not paying like 100 dollars just to play a game. they stopped making the Connect thingy so now it’s soo more more expensive like I already got the console, the game and the iPod or I shouldn’t have to pay 100 dollars and it’s not like I have a hundred dollar bill just lying around. Sorry if I’m like being over dramatic about this but I’m a ten year old girl who wants to dance without having to asking her parents all the time to play a game throughout quarantine

Issue with the game. I have no clue what’s going on right now but I’ve had the game for 2 years and never had an issue with the controller. For the past week the controller hasn’t been working I’ve repeatedly did the steps of hope that it would for but nothing did. Its something with the app and I will really appreciate if you fixed this problem. Also if you think it’s a problem on my side it’s not this started happening out of nowhere. I even tried deleting the app, restarting my phone. And restarting the just dance app on my Ps4. Also I play with Just dance 2020.

Guess I Can’t Use My Phone Anymore.. I usually use the Just Dance Controller app to play using my phone because I feel it allows me to play more freely. I’ve never had a problem with the app the few years I’ve been using it to play Just Dance 2017 and as of a few months ago, Just Dance 2020. When I first used the controller app to play Just Dance 2020 a couple months ago, everything worked fine. Now all of a sudden today the app is crashing when I get to the song selection screen. I can initially connect my app to the game fine, but as soon as I’m going to select songs so I can actually start dancing, the app will crash and I have no idea how to fix it. I’ve tried restarting the app, the game itself and my phone with no change. Idk what else to do so I’m about to just delete the app.

Please fix the problem or give us a other product to use to dance. Doesn’t connect.. I got just dance 2020 and I want to play using my phone since the ps4 cameras are sold out every where. I downloaded it and start the process but once I was about to choose the song I want to play it disconnected. I thought maybe it was my fault. So I try it again be it just connected for a second and then disconnected again multiple time. I deleted the app and reinstalled it thinking it was a bug work for about to minutes then disconnected again. This is very bad for a company who has money and people who can design apps but can’t fix a problem that multiple customers have had from what I read. This is very crappy to say the least.

Ubisoft could do better. I played this game a couple days in a row when I first got it. I left it alone for a while, then came back to play it again. Every time, it would disconnect either before I even got into the game, or just before dancing. I tried everything! At first I thought it was a problem with my Xbox, however after updating and realizing everything was fine, I knew it was a problem with the app. I looked it up, but nothing came up except notes from Ubisoft telling me to check if my wifi was connected, etc. Looking through the reviews on this app, I saw many others were having this problem. However, there wasn’t anything I could seem to do to fix it. Overall, this app was great for a few days, but quickly proved itself full of bugs. There is enough bad reviews that you think the company would do something about it, but the app is just as problematic as ever. I even tried using different phones to see if that would work better, but no dice. Unfortunately there are no other options to play with, besides an expensive kinect sensor. After spending money on the game itself, and having been playing this game since I was a little kid on the Wii, I had expectations. While there’s nothing wrong with the game, the app is just super crappy.

App keeps crashing. Bought the game a couple months ago along w/ the year long just dance unlimited subscription. Sometimes the app would take a long time to connect to the game, but nothing serious. Now since I updated my iPhone the app won’t connect at all. It continuously crashes before I can play a single song, and I have to reconnect the app only for it to crash again. Paid too much for the game + the add-on to not be able to play. Please update this app ASAP! UPDATE (5/27): the app is still not working. Contacted Ubisoft and was told I could not have a just dance unlimited subscription refund even though I have not been able to play the game. Terrible customer service. This app needs to be updated!

It Used To Work…. The app used to work perfectly, but at some point it stopped. I have an Apple IPhone, and I play the Just Dance 2020 version on my Xbox One. It used to work previously, but now won’t work at all. I have to go into Manual Pairing and go through the pairing process, which doesn’t actually work at all. It does not pair my Xbox and my phone even though they’re both new and they’re both connected to the same WiFi. I have absolutely no idea why it suddenly started stopped working at all, but it’s bad enough that I can’t play Just Dance period. It’s worked before and I have the scores to prove it but it completely stopped working and the Developers have seemed to do nothing at all to fix any of the previous problems with the app (such as that it would randomly crash, randomly disconnect, or drain your battery very quickly, and if a single notification popped up the app would freeze until it was swiped away) and I know that none of my devices are the cause of the problem. I will be honest, just get Just Dance on the Switch if you want to play it because nothing else works.

Issues with the game. First off, this is a really fun game to play with my family, but we have been having lot of issues with the game. First is when we try to connect all of our phones to the game, most of them get kicked out of the game. And it does not let us back in. Another thing is when I try to connect to controller wands to it, one of them is connected but when I try to use the other ones, it does not let me hit x on the wand. It has me hit x on the controller. So when I start dancing with the controller in my hand, the game is saying I am not using the right one like it keeps showing Xs when ever I make the right moves on there. So then I try to do the wands and the same thing happens. I don’t know if I am supposed to hold a button down on it because I tried that with every button on there and it is not letting me. Is it supposed to be the connection. And how to I have the game not kick me out of the app on my phone when I try to join?

A little disappointing.... I have had all the Just Dance games previously on my Wii, but as they update I realized I needed a newer system. I decided to try using this with my PS4 to get access to unlimited songs and songs not available on my 7th generation Wii. The motion tracking is all over the place. Some moves hit perfect and others hardly register. I liked this game because I'm a retired dancer and it gives me something to work on in that area. It's kind of disappointing because I rarely get superstar or megastar status and I'm going full out on the moves. If the motion tracking could be fixed it would make the app perfect, but for now, unless you can afford a camera or PS4 Motion, it's not worth it.

Don’t make people pay so much money for a game if the controller fails to work. I didn’t have a Kinect for my Xbox One, so I was excited to see how my iPhone would work as a controller and I didn’t have to worry about body recognition issues like I did with my 360 Kinect. I downloaded the 20 GB (I know!) of Just Dance 2018 to my console and never got past the controller connecting screen because the apps on all of our phones kept crashing once they were connected. Really, Ubisoft? I moved my coffee table out of the way for nothing. And now I have to go charge my phone because not only did the app not even work, but it drained my battery down from me fighting with it to work for the last 15 minutes.

Niice!! I love this app. Had an Xbox one and had an Xbox one plug in camera sensor that I used for just dance. Then upgraded my Xbox this year, 2021, and the camera sensor wasn’t compatible with my new Xbox so it was a bummer but then decided to give this app a shot. Saved me money and time. 😮‍💨🤝app runs smoothly for me havent had a single disconnection issue. Just make sure you got good wifi and you won’t have that problem 💁‍♀️

So basically I have used this app for over a year o less if I remember correctly and most of the times everything had been fine, but currently I’m having some issues with this app, this has never really happened to me before so it’s very weird in my point of view. So basically I wanted to play with my Xbox one, I connected my phone via internet and everything went well, but right when it said “connection successful”, it glitched out of the app, I had to re-download the app because it would keep making the same mistake. I re-download it like 3-4 times and the same mistake keep happening. In my experience I would rate this app a 6-10

Does it glitch on iPhones only?. We have Just Dance 2020 and we download this app to play the game my brother has an S10 galaxy, my sister has and iPhone 8 and I have and iPhone XR. When we downloaded the game everything was fine until we chose a song when we chose a song the app blanked out on my sister’s and I phones so we deleted it downloaded it again and it worked. When the song was over and we chose another song it blanked us out again the whole time we was playing the game and we played like 10 songs it keep blanking us out but my brothers phone never blanked out once. So i’m asking is the app equipped for iPhones or only Androids? Also will you be able to fix this problem?

Something isn’t working properly. I’m not exactly sure what’s the root of all the problems or if they’re all connected but I bought Just Dance 2018 for ps4 and have been using smartphones to play. To start it off, the first issues is in the app and the game itself but I keep getting network errors so I’m guessing that they’re problems with the Ubisoft servers or something. Can’t enter my Ubisoft account or whatever it is it asks to customize your dancer card within the app and I can’t access the online feature of the game itself. The second issues is the weird one. The first two smart phone devices work fine without many issues but all other devices that have been paired with game/console repeat the same issue of not showing up on the screen. They produce sound effects when joining the game and show character selection after picking a song like all other devices but on the tv it won’t show their name or any sort of visual cue to their existence however when dancing it shows a third and forth bar going up as they dance but it won’t show their names at the top or let them know how they’re doing with each move like the other two. And they also get a score at the end of the song and that’s the only proof of their existence on the ps4 side. I hope for some update somewhere to fix this

Glitches Me Out. Hey just dance creators! i just wanted to let you guys know that once i found out you guys can use a phone for a controller i was LEGIT shocked! the just dance controller worked PERFECTLY fine for me, i NEVER had a problem with it, until now. I hadn’t been playing just dance for a while now, and i just started to play just last week, but the problem is that every time i open up the app, it just takes me out, it either opens up fully to the loading screen but then it kicks me out, i tried to delete it and re install it but it still kicks me out and i’m still having trouble with the app. Please help me fix this problem. Thank you.

Love but problem I’m sad about. I love just dance but when I tried to play with this app on my phone it keeps kicking me out at first like a normal person would probably think is they have full storage so I deleted like 99% of my photos because I really wanted to play since it’s a lifetime chance because my brothers always on the Xbox so I hardly get to play so when I deleted the photos it still wouldn’t work then I deleted the app and installed it again but that didn’t work either please fix it I really wanted to play I don’t know what’s going on I also checked my WiFi it didn’t help either please read this and fix so I can play again. 🙂😢😤

Needs more content. So this app is good over all I used to use it all the time! But it got some updates and I don’t really like it I want to use just dance 2019 on the switch on my phone if there 2 other friends with me but I press just dance 2019 and it only works for ps4 and Xbox 1 and I don’t have enough money to buy new joy-cons I want to play just dance 2015 on my ps4 but the app doesn’t support older just dance game and I don’t have enough money to get a ps4 camera or stick (I forgot the name.) this app is good but needs support for a older just dance games and just dance 2019 on the switch

The app works The company doesn’t. Hey so I wanted to write this review because I got this to play during quarantine with my gf it was a struggle just getting the game (I recommend just buying it on the console through the store) but the game does work if you have a phone below the update of 13.4 tho it is a struggle here’s a guide to adding friends in to dance{first pick the song get to the screen where it says “keep phone securely in right hand” add the players with 13.4 an there you go pick a mentor an play one song after that you have to delete the app an redo the whole process again} Obviously the problem with 13.4 lies somewhere between those points of the game, I tried telling Ubisoft the exact problem an was cut short On 13.3 the xbox ps4 Nintendo controller has no effect on game play which is a big plus an a feature you should have kept obviously. stop ignoring are call to dance Ubisoft fix the issue it’s right here Don’t give us the bs about the app just not working I can use the 13.3 version of iPhone X to force the 13.4 version of iPhone XS to work an track an sync what is the excuses

No longer supports 2015. I used this app for years as it helped me stay in shape, and 2015 was one of my favorite versions to fall back on - good songs, the dances were good without being too over the top to get a decent workout. I took a break for health reasons, and now coming back to give it a try and get back into it yet again, I find I’m locked out from play because the app suddenly decided to no longer support it. Why? This invalidates an entire game purchase and I’m tired of paying full price for a game that I have to hope someday doesn’t decide to suddenly no longer be supported. I refuse to buy the Move controllers when the app worked just fine, which doesn’t work to Ubisoft’s advantage anyway as they don’t get a cut. I strongly urge you to fine a way to support it as it now stands I will no longer purchase another JD title since there is no assurance of continued support for modes of play.

Can Barely Even Play the Game. The concept of this is good, but whenever I try to play I have major issues. Just so you know I am playing on Xbox One S. When trying to play co-op mode, the first two devices connect fine, but the third one always disconnects almost as soon as it has connected. Frequently when we are in the middle of a song the TV screen will say it’s disconnected but the phones don’t say it’s disconnected. We then have to reconnect all over again. I made a Ubisoft account to access Just Dance Unlimited, but after I made the account it could never connect to Ubisoft servers so I could actually get Just Dance Unlimited. If you are playing on Xbox, I predict that Kinect works better. Please make improvements to this app so I can play Just Dance.

Now I Get It. Now I know why the game doesn’t work sometimes. One day after I got the Just Dance Unlimited for one mouth the next day it didn’t work and later the day I got the membership. This also didn’t even let me to connect my phone and it’s just really stupid. They need to adjust the app to the membership for the connectivity to the platform and the app itself. There may be some more problems but they still need to fix this. And I have been looking at other reviews and they haven’t even tried to update the game form two months after this person review and even three years ago!! Even I can do better then this and I’m not even a teenager. These employees for the making of this app need to acknowledge some of their customer’s reviews before it to late and your app it nothing. Fix your game, and quick.

Great- for the first 3 months. I bought the base game for 2020 at the end of January, and was surprised to learn an app was available. My sister and I were previously using the PSVR camera to dance, and the apps were much more responsive. We took a break in March, and came back in April for the Unlimited trial. Starting this week, it’s been next to impossible to play- trying to boot the game up resulted in my phone force quitting the app when attempting to sign in, and potentially during dances, if you made it that far. This could usually be solved by uninstalling and redownloading the app, though this no longer works. It was only happening on my phone, but it is now occurring on my sister’s phone as well. This app was by far the easiest way to use Just Dance, and it accommodates well for parties up to 6 people, but this bug breaks it. I feel like I’ve been cheated out of the money spent on the game, which is frustrating.

Doesn’t even connect. Not only are you telling me to swing my very expensive phone around and possibly break it but you don’t even give me the option to use the camera which obviously is way less dangerous. But that’s not even the main issue, what takes the cake is that the game won’t even connect to any of my family members phone (and they’re all relatively new iPhone 11s and up). I’ve tried everything restarting my phones wifi and PlayStation nothing works. To get to this point you forced me to make a Ubisoft account that I’m not even gonna use anywhere else. If I’m being honest I feel like we wasted our money with this game. Ubisoft fix your app 🤦‍♂️

Just Dance won’t let me Just Dance. Truly Fed up with the recent behavior of this app! Long time user of Just dance and other Ubisoft games and now I can’t play a game I recently purchased. Trying to place in a case about the crashing and the website is not responsive at all. Please fix this app soon because everyone who is talking about the app are experiencing the same issues and it is not fair. Can’t Quarantine and dance if the app won’t work and I truly refuse to purchase a Kinect just to play the game at all. I own an Xbox and this is not it at all. If you see this please notify all of us stifling with the app and the games ASAP because I’m not paying anymore money for this game. I also purchased a 12 month subscription of the unlimited and I can’t play that if the app keep crashing. It great for exercise but.... So I have been playing JD for a while and I have always used my phone but now the app is acting weird. When I connected my phone it said I was connected then just crashed me out. I restarted my phone, made sure it was up to date on updates, uninstalled and installed the app again but nothing is working. I also want to point out that the sensitivity isn’t that great. If you are about to do a gold move you have to forcefully move your with the move or it will not work. Like I said this is great if you can’t afford a Kinect Sensor but a new update for this app has to happen soon.

Doesn’t function on iPhone. I downloaded the app and when I go into it, it opens but is always loading. I have an iPhone SE, and no camera or controls to use the game. Disappointed because I was relying on the use of a phone.

Can not connect. I have triple checked wifi connections on all devices have checked everything. I have 6 phones in our household and can not connect one of them! What a useless app. Can not play this game without it hopeless.

GOOD UNTIL IT WASNT. Everything was working well and great until last week when my mums app on her iPhone 8 kept crashing and now it keeps crashing on my iPhone 11!!! Please fix this as I can’t play!!

Takes to long to load. I couldn’t even play that much because it took to long to load and the app was being really annoying other then that it’s good

Useless. The app worked momentarily to allow me to choose a song on Just Dance 2019 and then disconnected. Every time I tried to reconnect to the game the app closed again. Trying to submit a support ticket on the developer website is equally as frustrating and goes nowhere. Don’t bother with this software & app.

Really disappointing. What an absolute waste of money and time. Absolutely crazy that the only way to play just dance on xbox is holding a smart phone. Not sure if the developers realise that phones are now too big to easily hold in your hand and constantly hitting the side button disconnects the controller. My daughter was so excited to play and struggled to hold my phone and gave up before getting through the first dance. Have a friend over? Too bad unless you have a second phone available. So so so disappointed in this set up and do not recommend unless you have an older supported model smart phone that you don’t mind flinging across the room. Hopefully they bring out a controller otherwise would not recommend.

No mobile data allowed!!. Stupid app requires a wifi signal to use, I don’t have wifi so I use my mobile data. I use my data for my PlayStation also the game loads on the PlayStation but the app won’t let me use data. So now the game is useless because the app is useless.

WiFi not working. So I have been playing just dance 2018 and today I have tried to play but I can't play. It says my PlayStation 4 is not connected to the same WiFi network and they are on the same network.

Bad scoring. I recently got JD 2020 for Xbox One, but my Kinect sensor was yet to arrive so I bought this app while waiting. I’ve danced with Just Dance Now and got megastar on all the songs I like, but I try it with this app on Xbox and it scores me as 4 stars. Anyway, it’s ok I guess just annoying

Not enough hip hop/rap. It’s overall pretty well done just need some more selections when it comes to rap like 50 cent or juice wrld or even pop smoke. Just more selections for rap

When it works it works...when it doesn't you just can't play. This app worked fine for ages and since the latest update it crashes on loading up every time. The usual delete and reinstall or phone reset on multiple phones does not appear to work/ help. Suggestions?

Crashing. I am trying to use this app as we do not have the Kinect sensor but it keeps crashing. I am using the app with JD2016 which is still compatible however once my phone connects to the console and I use the app for a couple of seconds it crashes. I’ve deleted and downloaded the app several times however it hasn’t resolved the issue. It’d be great to have an update to fix this issue. Cheers.

An Apple Watch would make more sense. Whilst it works, I'd rather not be waving around a $1400 phone for the sake of a game. Make an Apple Watch app. You have a mature following too.

Just Crash. Used to be able to use this app and play as much as we wanted. Now the app constantly crashes. Only way to get it to work is delete the app and reinstall, then you can get 1 dance from it. Really disappointing to see a good app turn bad and useable.

Soo Helpful •Guide•. The app is Great for a small phone as it fits in your hands perfectly. I have no issue with it and it’s very helpful because I don’t have a sensor!!!! For everyone who can’t do it, it is the internet. The app did nothing just check first! Hope it helped!!!! ☺️

Not Good. it's really annoying why my phone doesn't connect to the actual Xbox. I kept turning off and on the xbox to see if it connects, kept checking the internet to see if it's connected. but sometimes it actually connects without doing that things I mentioned earlier.

Not worth the download. This app is absolutely useless. I downloaded today to play as I’ve just bought two Just Dance games for the PS. As soon as I connect the app to my console the app always crashes, I can’t even play anything at all. Don’t waste your time. I’d just go buy a move controller.

Crashes + idea. the app crashes a lot and i have to delete it and redos load it constantly but also i think an app for the apple watch would greatly benefit this, because then you don’t need to hold your phone in your hand

Can’t do small clips on iPhone anymore. I use to be able to do clips of the kids and turn into a dance choose out of a couple different songs Barbra stizand was one of them but now it’s saying I need Xbox ect :-/

App crashes. It seems like most others. I bought the game for an XBox and don’t have the Kinect as reviews say to use this app, however the app crashes as soon as you open it. I know have a game that I can’t play. Their website says they are working on a solution. 2 weeks and I haven’t heard anything. And now I can’t take the game back as it is used. 👎

Crashing upon connection. When opening controller (app downloaded to iPhone 11 Pro May 2020) to connect Xbox one X with Just Dance 2018 (disk version); mobile controller auto disconnects from xbox upon opening, not allowing the game to play. Useless . All Xbox one x setting have been changed to allow mobile devices. All software updated. Problem still occurring. Waste of time. Give up and try to find an adapter for the Kinect if you can.

Hold the phone in your hand?. How is this better than having a controller? What is Di hard about releasing an Apple Watch app? The only thing about Dance that bugs me is that I have to hold onto a bully thing in my hand and accidentally keto pressing buttons. I am wearing a thing on my wrist which will tell you my movements, why not use that??

It quite good if you know what your doing. It really depends on what Xbox and just dance edition you have. I have a Xbox 1 and sometimes the connection is bad but it saves like $100. Its cheaper to just get the app. Pretty good

App crashes constantly. I love the game! however I can’t play it using my iPhone 7 as a controller, because the app crashes constantly. It doesn’t even open. iPhone is up to date, and still it does not work

Apps crashed for thousands time. Had problem using this apps. First of all, I can use it to play just dance and no problem. The only problem is you can use two mobile apps to play at once. Few days later, all apps crashing and unable to play at all

It can’t mark my movement correctly!!!. I’m sure I was on the right rhythm but it always gives me an ‘OK’ or ‘missed’?? So is that something wrong with my phone or the connection?

Just Dance Controller. it worked the first couple times, then It started playing up with people trying to join to now saying it’s connected to my PS4 which is off, on the other side of the house and I’ve never ever played Just Dance on before.

Great app!. If your app keeps crashing, I deleted I and re downloaded it and it worked fine! Do that if you have the same problem.

Won’t work!. This game worked for us for years (we have just dance 2017) and every time we connect, the app crashes. We have got lots of (i)Phones in our house and it doesn’t matter if it is a 6, or 11 it will still crash. Very disappointing.

Waste of time and effort!. I think it’s disgusting that a game my child has loved playing on and off for a few years with the use of a mobile phone as the controller no longer works because this app no longer supports JD previous to 2016! Absolutely will not be purchasing this game In the future as the one we have is now rendered useless unless I seek out a motion sensor or motion PS4 controller! Waste!!

Keep crashing!. I’ve been playing Just Dance 2019 and the app was still fine until a few days ago I downloaded Just Dance 2020 and the app is constantly crashing. I thought there was something wrong with 2020 version but I can’t even play with the old one either. Very disappointed!!!!

I guess it’s ok. So the app worked for a while but then in started lagging, glitching, breaking down, and failing so I decided to delete the app and download it again. Spoiler this does not work. Unable to connect to Xbox Series X. I was able to use the app relatively seamlessly for Just Dance 2020 on the Xbox One X but since upgrading to the Series X I can’t play the game anymore because the app cannot connect to the new console. I bought Just Dance 2021 and can’t even play it 😕 pretty disappointing.

FIX IT!!!!!. We’ve for a just dance subscription which is completely useless now that the iphone controller app no longer works - it just crashes soon after attempting pairing. Looks like this has been going on for weeks - fix it already or give everyone their money back!

App is useless since iPhone update. Since updating the iPhone this app is now useless as it will not allow us to play the game at all. We have had minimal use of the game & now we cannot play because the app continually kicks us out. Kids are devastated

Wonderful... not. I love this game but it’s ridiculous that if you don’t have a smart phone you can’t play the latest game! The app keeps crashing. I brought just dance 2020 a few days ago and I used my iPhone XR as the controller and it worked great the day I got it. The last few days the app has been crashing and won’t let me play the game at all. It’s very disappointing it hasn’t been fixed as I have seen a lot of people complaining about the same thing. Just dance to a YouTube video if you don’t have a Playstation camera. Better to just dance to a Just Dance video posted on YouTube as it dosnt even feel like the app is doing anything. You should be able to see your self dancing to at least feel like the app is working

Review. It was a little hard to figure out at first but then I got it. all you need to do is to go into settings in the app and then put in the code their then it worked and now I love using my phone

Can’t connect to game which makes it worthless.. No one in my household can connect their phone to the game. It’s completely worthless at this point. We had to redownload the app and completely stop the game on the ps5 and everything to troubleshoot it but we aren’t able to get into it.

App crashes and game wont work without. App crashed and game wont work on ps5 without it as it does not support the ps5 camera. Game wont be refunded on the PS Store. Customer support is ignorant to the issue and kept me on hold for 1.5h to tell me “to bad” Playstation at its worst

Does not work with IOS 15 or newer. Stuck with a brand new game (just dance 2022 for ps5) that does not work on anything in the house but an old un updated iPad which is not exactly ideal to dance with.

Do not buy. Should not even be sold. Will not connect most of the time, cannot shut the screen of the phone, because app will disconnect. And you can just swipe your arms in any sens to get good score.

Fun when it works, however constantly disconnects (PS5). Fun when it works however, constantly disconnects and makes you miss (not a wifi issue) . Annoying to keep reconnecting, and can only imagine the struggles with connected with multiple devices (I’m doing solo) however fun when it works, and is mostly accurate on the moves. Please fix app, as theirs no other way to play unfortunately for PlayStation.

didn’t even get to play it once. I spent $40 on this game today and downloaded this app to play, since I don’t have Kinect like many others. I then proceeded to sign up and whatever, I finally get in and I look around for a dance. I then get ready to do my first dance and my phone disconnected! I thought that it was normal until I tried to connect each time, with 2 different iPhones (X and 6 plus)!! Each time it connected then immediately after went to my home screen. I DIDN'T EVEN GET TO PLAY IT ONCE!! I need my money back, maybe I’ll try it another day or something but from the other reviews, it’s just sad.

It freezes then won’t let me pause.... I was in just dance 2021, 2020 and it kept on freezing while I was in the app. I tried to pause it, and it wouldn’t let me I could just keep on dragging and it won’t pause. After a while it would disconnect me. This is not the only problem I have experienced. This also disconnects when my moms wifi is perfectly fine. Here’s another problem: it keeps on giving me X when I’m doing the exact hand moves they are doing as they say “dance like the person is your reflecting on your screen” If your going to have people pay for this expensive game, then at least give them the qualities that people get for all the money they spend on the game including unlimited 😒😒 Edit: Hey, I’m back yet again 😌😌😌 I’m now doing tally marks depending on how many issues I’ve had! Just Dance, but no dancing.. I purchased the game during a sales event for Xbox One, however the app will not pair with my Xbox, leaving me unable to play the game. My phone and Xbox are connected to the same wireless network, a network I have designated solely for these two devices to ensure stable connectivity, so there is no foreseeable error on my end. Judging by other reviews, I am not the only one in this boat. If you are going to offer a game to a variety of platforms, the least you should do is make sure that all platforms have the ability to access the content they have already payed for.

Please update this app. I got Just Dance 2020 on my PS4 around April. I saw the reviews but decided to give it a chance instead of buying a PlayStation camera or controller. The first week or so everything was fine. Then I started to notice it wouldn’t track me or my sisters movements as well. Then it started to force shut on me. At first I could open the app and everything would be fine but now I cannot. Every single time I open the app weather I have turned my phone on or off or deleted the app it force shuts. I feel scammed out of my money because it won’t allow me to use the controller.

Love it. I love this app and it’s very easy to use and it was workin amazing and then when I purchased unlimited 5 minutes in the app just closes and I hv to restart the x box game all over I never got through one song with out it shutting off so I end up using a different phone and it works but it’s annoying to keep switching phones other than that I love this app and everyone should get it!

The game isn’t bad, the controller is.. Honestly, the game itself can be pretty fun. My only problem is that if you have the 13.4 update you basically can’t use it. Which is a big bummer because we’re only 5 months into 2020 and both the game and update are relatively new. The app needs to be updated because the only way to play is by deleting and reinstalling the app. I know too many people getting refunds from Microsoft over the game which can’t be good for business. It’s a development bug which can be fixed basically from home so really it’s just the developers being lazy. Yet another unappealing feature.

Needs a bit of a fix. It’s alright for the most part, I will say it has parts where it doesn’t recognize something for a couple seconds, like my family and I are dancing for a lil bit and then out of nowhere it shows X, X,X, X for like maybe 5-15 seconds, like everything works but the X are just out of nowhere and we don’t earn points so that’s all I gotta say for the most part

Not Even Worth It Sadly.... My mom has a regular Switch and I have a Switch Lite. She bought Just Dance 2020 (physical copy) and I want to be able to play on my own device. Therefore, I downloaded this app. It let me play one song and worked perfectly fine. Then it went to the ad about Just Dance Unlimited and since it did that, the app closed and just keeps closing again as soon as it reconnects. Therefore, I can’t even play it. So, until they get this fixed, there literally is no point in downloading it. If it would have kept working as it did on the first song it would have been just fine.

This is dumb. Using your phone as a remote? We just went back in time 10 years to the wii remote. The whole joy and point of using the Kinect on Xbox was to get your whole body moving. It also included everybody in the room who wanted to play. Now I have to force all of my guests to download an app to play? And we all have to hold our bulky phones in our hands? This is just stupid. I’m disappointed. We hold our phones all day long. I loved when just dance forced us to put our devices down and literally JUST DANCE.

I am rating just dance. The controller is great just the game has a few problems 1:Why do you have to unlock songs because I bought it hoping it to have many songs but nooo you have to make money and have like 300 songs but you have to have some sort is club...there are other ways to make money you know 2:Multiply times the moves make my phone fly out of my hand so thanks for cracking my phone multiple times 3: Why do you have the club thingy oh right I mentioned it up there well that is a huge promblem So thanks for looking at my things wrong with he game also the controller there is one problem 4:When I was playing my phone said low power which I did not know and because of that I lost my place of 3rd and ended in 45 place because it said all my moves were X THANK YOU for reading my overall suggestion😑

Only two problems. I use this for my Nintendo switch even though I can use a joy con. This app works perfectly with my switch. But there’s two problems... I can’t use my phone as the controller when I play on the tv which is very weird. There’s also another problem... on just dance 2020 on Nintendo switch... is it will not let you play multiplayer buy using ur phone. It only works on da joy con.

Costs money to pay.. I payed 25 bucks for this game on Xbox and it won’t let me play any songs except a select few out of hundreds because I haven’t subscribed. I bought this game thinking I could dance but in reality it’s just showing a low price so you buy it and you end up having to pay more to even use the game. You basically end up paying 50 dollars or more for the songs or 25 dollars for nothing. THIS NEEDS TO BE CHANGED. I certainly wouldn’t want to make money from a bad game by tricking the customers, u would make a good game that is good not a game that seems good right up until you buy it.

Way too easy to accidentally close the app. Accidentally hit the power button? Disconnected. Accidentally hit a notification? Disconnected. Accidentally swiped at the top or bottom of the screen? Disconnected. You either need to put your hand in an uncomfortable position to make sure that you don’t drop your phone and you don’t accidentally close the app or there’s a 50% chance that you’ll accidentally close the app and in turn miss the next 5 moves before the game disconnects you. Requiring a phone to play the game is already pretty dumb in my opinion, and requiring an internet connection so that your phone can connect to the game is even dumber. But the worst part is how easy it is to drop your phone while you’re playing. There’s no strap or anything on your phone so you lose your grip for one move and suddenly you’ve broken your phone. Honestly one of the worst ideas I’ve seen in awhile.

love it. I’ve downloaded this app before and i never had any problems with it, it was great because my sensor kept disconnecting so i used this app instead! There have never been any problems for me (i’m not saying no problems whatsoever just that’s my experience) I totally recommend downloading this app, but what i say is always have a lower expectation so you can have a better experience.

Connectivity. App used to work perfectly fine. No problems whatsoever. But lately I have not been able to play the game. I am constantly getting a notification that my phone has been disconnected. I am on the same WiFi network as my console. My console is connected and my phone is connected. Have not been able to play in months. And the last update was 5 months ago. Everything game and console wise is up to date and still having issues. Please fix! Extremely close to buying the camera instead

went downhill :/. this app was amazing! WAS. it would work fine and connect automatically to my tv when i connected it. however, for the past few weeks, it has not been working, no matter what i try. it never connects, and it always says my tv and phone are not connected to the same WiFi. but when i check, it always is. i've tried every trick and it still it not working. this gets me upset because i love(d) Just Dance and was happy i wouldn't have to buy the Kinect sensor. however, now i do. you're better off just buying the sensor because this app won't help you and is useless. 👎

DOESN’T CONNECT YOUR IPHONE TO THE CONSOLE. I have one very sad 8 yr old. Got the new Xbox Series X, bought the JD 2021, and my 8 yr old was so excited to rock out. Not going to happen unfortunately. I didn’t read any of these reviews before purchasing the game and downloading this app and didn’t see the litany of complaints that the console won’t sync with your iPhone (message kept telling us to make sure the Xbox and iPhone are on the same network - they are, that’s clearly not the problem). Now I’m taking this game back. This is infuriating to read all these reviews after the fact, and there continues to be the same problem for everyone.

it works ( for me). ive been using it recently to play just dance 16 - 18 and has worked perfectly fine for each. while i sometimes would turn the phone off or throw it across the room those were all issues caused by me and the app itsself worked perfectly fine, just got 2022 and after playing a few songs it works just as well as did for the other games. only issue i have is the motion detection is a little wonky for super moves and moves in general (falling to my knees everytime i missed one after supposedly doing the move wrong knowing i did if correctly ) but it could be a skill issue and im just bad. ethier way it does its job and isnt as bad as id thought itd be seeing the reviews.

I keep being kicked out of the app. I’ve had just dance since the beginning of 2020 and I haven’t had any problems. But in last week or so every time I connect the phone to my console it force quits. I also noticed that other people are having the same problems. The weird thing is that me and my sister have the same phone and it doesn’t lag her out. It might something to do with the new iOS update which she hasn’t installed yet. I hope this can be resolved because I really like this game.

This game is amazing. This game is quite the thing, sometimes when you want to play on your phone or dance on whatever platform you have! It is just as if you were playing the game on the device. It doesn’t lag at all, and it is very convenient. I would recommend this game to people who love Just Dance or if you want to try it out!

Fun but…. I love playing with my friends and family, but i’m the only one who can use my dancer card. All of them have to play using the default ones like “Funky” and whatnot. I was reading around the internet trying to figure out why it was doing that, and some people said any version of the app after 4.1 is what makes it to where your friends can’t change their profiles. This is version 8. 4.1 released 4 years ago. Why hasn’t been fixed if this is the case?

Help. I got just dance 19 and i been login in good and correct but for some reason it doesn’t show play on xbox with my user and says play and i enter and try getting in app and i have to restart the console and my phone to at least wait to get that screen and im connected to my wifi as the xbox and still doesn’t let me in i tried different phones but still have the same problem please ubisoft please hear me out and help me with my problems

It’s a good app, but I get disconnected almost all the time. When I first got the app the controls were working well but thing when I updated my phone the app kept on closing after I play just one song. Even when I’m just looking though the songs, it sometimes closes. Also the dance controls are something to talk about to. I’ll be doing the moves and it will not register. Especially when I’m doing a gold move. I can do it perfectly and yet it would be a X. It’s a good app but it desperately needs to be updated.

It works but needs improvement. What this app really needs is an Apple Watch version of this so that we don’t get sweaty and drop the phone… why not? I just bought this for Series S and it does work for me on my iPhone. However it seems basic navigation has glitches and is backwards. A little annoying but it does work. It’s a great game to play with family… but why not an app for the watch?

i'm very disappointed.. i dont like how i have to have a certain type of system to play this because i have a wii and it only uses xbox 1, nintendo switch, stadia and PS4. i dont have any of these and my controllers don't work so it's not fair. i am aware that a wii is old but it still works and because it a "older" system doesn't mean it can't be optional. i'm very sad that i can't play wii and it's a waste of time that i even got it and the first this u should've done was look at the reviews because when i first downloaded this, it had 2 star review. i'm very disappointed with this app.

Good app but controller problems. I just got just dance 2019 and at first the controller on my smart phone was working perfectly fine until I unlocked the unlimited songs. That is when everything went down hill. When I’m searching for a song I use my controller and it always tells me that I’m disconnected. Also, when I’m playing a song from a different version of just dance it always says I’m disconnected while I’m dancing for Atleast 3 times throughout the song.

This is a good app but there is some problems. I always used this app and it works but the problem is that everytime I leave the app by accident I go back to the app and it’s loading and I have to turn off my phone and turn it back on because if I close application and go back on the app it will still be loading so I would recommend this app if you don’t have a camera or controller for just dance

Truly fed up with Just Dance 2020 digital and game disc. We continue to receive. Since purchasing both games we were only able to play the digital game 2x’s and the disc once. I want my money back. We’re trying to have family fun and stay healthy during this quarantine and your response is it’s our internet not your game or Ubisoft. My internet speed and box has been tested by Xfinity and at the looks of all these bad reviews everyone is having the same problems. We all can’t just happen to have the same connection issues and error messages with the same game. Signed: Diappointed long time customer

Mildly Disappointed.. I’ve been using this app for the past two years and I just so happened to have Just Dance 2015 which is NO longer compatible. Now I have no idea what to do. This genuinely upsets me when any just dance game was available and my family’s phones are just the best option for controllers. The description of the app online even mentions 2015 so this is also upsetting. I don’t know if I can play one of my favorite games simply because the app doesn’t extend past the game version of 2016. Please rectify this matter and then I may continue use this app.

Great way to play but.... To start it of I love this app, I got just dance 2016 for xbox 1s and don't want to buy a connect sensor. But the problem is when I try and connect multiple people. Me and my sis want to play together but every-time we try to play together it kicks her out of the app the second she joins the game. I haven't found any tutorials on how to make it so it doesn’t kick her out of the app but other than that it works...

Trash. It started to work for about the first month then after that only one phone would connect and the others would make the sound that it connected but then it would glitch and go straight back to the iphone home screen absolutely terrible please fix this because i like to play just dance with my brother and now we can’t. After the first month with the free trial we bought a year pass from ubisoft to get all the songs which are not included in the just dance 2020 and after that it stopped working. I wish there was a way to fix this issue.

Updates for the app?. Is there going to be a new update for the mobile controller soon? I have tried reconnecting, deleting, and redownloading the app after updating my just dance 2019 game as suggested by the game itself. However, the app was NOT able to connect with the game itself. The last update of this app was 6 months ago. I thought that by re-subscribing to the unlimited version, I would be able to connect to the game but this did not happen. I hope I get a refund or at least an extension of my subscription to the unlimited version because of the app NOT working.

Controller continuously disconnects. I had bought Just Dance 2020 on my Xbox One. It worked the first time that I played it, but ever since then it has been glitching. Every time I connect the controller it disconnects within a second or it says that it cannot connect to the server. I have tried restarting my phone, deleting the app, searching through forums, etc. but I still have not been able to solve my problem. I find this very disappointing because I was looking forward to finally being able to play Just Dance on my Xbox and now it doesn’t work. I feel deceived and upset that I spent my hard earned money on this.

So frustrating. I really love playing Just Dance- bought the game and the unlimited access. I downloaded this app to play the game and it was working great at first then after a few weeks it kicks me out every time I go to connect to the game! It’s so frustrating! I want to play the game and can’t! I’ve had friends over and they can connect but mine won’t and then it started to do the same thing with theirs after a while. I wish they would fix this issue so the game is playable. I hate that I spent the money for the game and unlimited only to not be able to use it. Not cool!

Network errors ftw. Network errors are making me fall out of love with the game. I am frustrated because it feels like a money waste (and Just dance games or just dance unlimited are not cheap). Every morning I try to play and I can’t even complete a song without getting the errors, my progress gets lost and I also lose the challenges. The game randomly starts to look choppy and then connection error. I don’t know if this is related to the servers or having to use the phone, but the whole experience is really frustrating. I used to wake up excited to exercise and now this whole thing keeps happening and souring my mornings. I wish the game was at least what I paid for...

iPhone connection issues. We had Just Dance 2019. It connected easily, no issues, no codes to enter. We got Just Dance 2020 today and phone would not connect. As other reviewers noted, you have to turn off cellular data for iPhone to connect. Don’t know why this wasn’t an issue for JD 2019. App developer should include this troubleshooting since it’s such a common iPhone issue instead of just asking if phone and Xbox are on the same WiFi network. We were in an endless failure to pair loop. My thanks to other reviewers for calling out this problem.

The app worked for an hour and then just stopped.. I was able to play for a bit with the app and wondered what all of the bad reviews were about, and then the second I closed and reopened the game it wouldn’t connect anymore. It keeps telling me that the Xbox and phone aren’t connected to the same network, even though they are. I’ve tried every way to fix it over the past few days and nothing is working. There’s no way to even start the game without the app, this is a terrible design for the game.

Not working at all. I used to use this app all the time and it worked great. But I’m starting to play again and now nothing is working. It keeps saying something isn’t set right no matter what I do. I’ve been trying for like 30 minutes at this point and I’ve even turned off the WiFi and turned it back on and connected it again and it’s still not working. Both of my devices are connected to the same WiFi network and no matter what I try, nothing works. Please fix your app Ubisoft.

Really disappointed. I was impressed at first that they had an app for a just dance controller, until I downloaded the app. Our family has a Nintendo switch as our console and when I saw that you couldn’t use this app with the Nintendo switch I was very disappointed as the one in the family who like just dance the most. I have deleted the app and will check in a few months if they have changed it so I can use it with a Nintendo switch. After all I am very disappointed and next time we have friends over we have to borrow controller if we all want to play just dance together.

Horrible app!!! Good game. This is a good game. Good dance songs decent tracking (could definitely use improvement) BUT the one flaw is this app!! Constantly crashes most of the time right off the bat so we just give up even trying to play. But the more frustrating part is when it crashes in the middle of a song... right as you get going... crash... then you have to try and get it working again (good luck) and eventually give up. Even if you manage to get it running again it’s a ticking time bomb on when it goes down again... You can forget about getting multiple connected... honestly typical Ubisoft, great ideas poor execution.

Beware: It only works on the first day :(. This worked beautifully on the first day and I got over my crankiness of not being able to get a Kinect Sensor but now it won’t work at all! It keeps saying my Xbox settings are not correct but I checked and they are and we are connected to the same WiFi so that rules that out. I tried everything: restated the game, restarted my phone, tried to set it up manually by putting in our IP Address, etc. I am very disappointed in not only this App but also Xbox. We have owned several of the Just Dance games and they are a lot of fun until 2019.

The app is good but risky!. I was playing Just Dance 2020 and I was doing the song “If you like it put a ring on it.” And I threw my phone at the wall and luckily it’s not broken but it’s very unsafe to play this game with your phone as a controller. It has a tiny scratch and a tiny bit of the paint on my phone came off and my phone case broke at the bottom as well. This app is very easy to use and it’s a good app but using your phone for it is dangerous.

Non existence. I had this app while playing the 2019 version and it worked fine with up to 6 people using the app. Then about two hours into the game 4 of the apps stopped working. Now we have the 2020 version and our apps won’t even sync to the game we even tried manually pairing each phone, deleting the app and re-adding it. Nothing is working? I go online to try and troubleshoot but nothing helps or works I also go online to try and see how to use co op mode thinking maybe that’s why the controllers won’t work nor the app but again there’s nothing

This needs to be fixed. I have had the just dance game for quite a while now and the same problem keeps happening it will disconnect my phone and later connect for like a millisecond and log me the only other ways to fix this is to by the camera or ps moves witch i am not going to buy if theres an app so if i wasted my $60 to later not even be able to play please update this Ubisoft i really do want to play/dance to your game so update the app if you can..

I like it so far but I have one problem. I have downloaded it today and it’s really cool, but I keep getting kicked out of the app randomly and it disconnects from the game. I’ve probably deleted this app and reinstalled it about ten times now to try and prevent it but it keeps happening. I would really like to continue to use this app without having to be worried if I’m going to get kicked out the app again. Thanks.

Unplayable on PS5. Bought game and downloaded to my PS5. After several attempts the controller connected for a screen or so and then disconnected from my iPhone 11 Pro Max. Couldn’t even get to screen where I could actually play before it disconnects. Tried hardwiring PS with same issues. Reached out on Twitter and got no response from game developers. Due to PlayStation return policy I can’t get refund for game because I’ve downloaded it to my console and I know if I do chargeback with my credit card company PS will deactivate my account. Devs: please update your app so game I paid $60 for isn’t total waste of money.

App Doesn’t Work - Can’t Play. We’re having the same problem as the other one star reviews are saying. Every time we try to log in to play with our phones, which is the only controller option for playing as Kinect no longer works for Xbox, the app force quits and kicks us out of the game. We have tried everything, redone loading the app worked temporarily but then the same problem began again. We even updated our Xbox, checked WiFi settings, and tried updating the Just Dance apps to no avail. Please fix this app so we can play just dance!

Garbage. Not sure if it's the new update or what, but this does not connect no matter what I do on the Xbox One. I tried the standard way, no luck. Tried to set the IP manually- nothing. Forgot the network on my iPhone 7 Plus and reconnected, did the same thing on my console making sure everything is how it should be and yet again that stupid "Oops!" message. Doesn't look like there's really anything for support online or the "Help" section of the app. What a waste of money if you can't shell out for a Kinect as well. Yet again, I find myself regretting purchasing an Ubisoft game. When will I learn?

App constantly crashes when connecting. Dear lord this app is atrocious. I’ve been trying to connect it to my Nintendo switch and it always disconnects and closes out when pairing. What I don’t understand is the other app, just dance now works perfectly fine. Ubisoft support is very hard to get a hold of; tried calling their offices and was told to file a ticket online. Tried filing online and was met with a perpetual loading screen and constant requests to log in again and again. Eventually just gave up. If anyone at Ubisoft support could get back to me I would appreciate it.

It keeps disconnecting even when it’s on Wifi!!!. At first when I downloaded the controller app it worked fine. It would disconnect every once an awhile, but now it it disconnects every like three songs! I’ll be connected to my wifi and it’ll still say I’m not connected to the wifi. Or I’ll go and reboot my router to try see if that works and it doesn’t fix anything. It’s so freaking annoying! Please fix this somehow. Cause in theory using your phone as the controller is a great idea, but it’s practically useless if the controller keeps disconnecting when still on wifi🤷🏼‍♀️
