It’s perfect for me.. As the speedometer is inop in my old Toyota PU, this has been a great tool. I only wish there were a option for accumulated mileage in addition to trip only mileage. I’d like to calculate my fuel mileage but can’t the way it is. Anyway, great app. Thank you. Mike

Pro pack is literally pointless. Not only does this app take forever to actually open up, but I thought it would remove ads, but nope just offered me a couple more ugly colors for the display. There are better ones available and they’re free and more accurate.

Absolutely Accurate. I had to buy a used 2008 Ford Taurus, as I needed a car for the amount of driving needed for my job as a Caregiver. Since the car gets better gas mileage than my truck, it was the right decision to get the car. The car is perfect inside and out for being 12 yrs old. After 2 months of driving the car the speedometer quit working completely, leaving only the Tach as a method of determining my speed while driving and since I didn't want to rely solely on that for maintaining proper speed on the freeway and city streets, I had the need for this speedometer app. It's simple to use, and is quite pleasing and easy to read without a bunch of unnecessary stuff to clutter the screen not to mention the great colors to choose from to personalize it just enough! I may never get my speedometer repaired due the insane cost to do so, but hey no worries there because I'll use your app until the end of tim, the end of this car, or I actually win the lottery in which case I'll still keep using this app!! LOVE THIS APP!!

Great product. I have a vintage car with a newer engine and transmission. The speedometer cable won't fit on the new transmission so this app tells me my speed. I love it!!! Rick rod

Surprised !. Great look - lots of options and handy as a pocket on a shirt - I use it as a heads up display on my road glide - wife enjoys being able to see from passenger seat - looks great at night

very accurate. I’ve used A couple of other GPS speedometers , and this one so far is the most accurate, even more accurate than the Google GPS map that comes with the phone , and you get a variety of different colors to choose from and you can use it vertically or horizontally , The format is easy to understand and the settings are easy to use , and believe me whether you ride regular Bicycle or an E bike , it’s a good addition it makes your bike look cool , people who saw it didn’t even know it was my phone they thought it was the actual speedometer that comes with the bike , Believe me this will save you money if you go Buy a speedmeter , like this out there they’re overpriced too complicated to use and most of them don’t even work on 20 inch fat tire bikes , this is perfect 😊

This App is dangerous. I couldn’t keep the app going long enough to evaluate it without it trying to sell me a game or some other app. I made one modification, KPH to MPH, and it went straight to add with only one option - Buy. The only way to turn off add was to delete the app and download it again. Don’t use this app if you are driving.

Very Pretty but no WiFi iPad support. This is a very pretty app, and it works as advertised. My one beef is that I’d like to download it to my WiFi-only iPad, as I have an external GPS for my iPad. No dice, the App Store blocks it. :(

Works like a charm.. Easy to use and very practical. And with an added unexpected bonus: It allows me to see my distance and speed in Km and km/hr respectively, which is convenient since my car speedometer uses mph, so I have a simultaneous readout in both metric and conventional units (I normally “think” in metric terms.

Terrible update. This app used to have a beautiful display. Unfortunately my phone updated the app automatically and I hate the new display. It almost looks cartoonish now.

Great app. Great app for riding my bike. All the information is clear and easy to read while riding my bike.

Almost perfect.. The speedo is accurate and the display is one of the prettiest I have seen since YoriMoto. The reason I say it’s almost perfect, is that you get ads on startup. I’d like to say it’s not bothersome, but it adds those extra few seconds to your startup time to go ride. A minor complaint, but enough to deduct a star.

My Speedometer More Often Than Not. I have a 2005 Prius, which I love, and the dash goes black quite often. I have been using this app for a few years, it works great, is very accurate, I know I’ve tested it. It’s like my speed safety net.

Best App overall for “Simplest Speedometer”. Great for the basics. Great choice of colors if you pay the $1.99 to upgrade. Also, the free version is literally the PNLT free version of any speedometer app that doesn’t completely obstruct your dash with constant ads. 👍 thanks!

The Tester. I tested this app against a high quality hand held GPS and also against police radar. It passed with flying colors! Excellent accuracy! Kudos to the developers!

This app keeps me out of jail. I love it. I’m hard on vehicles and I drive lots of them. All modified so I need my true speed, and this app keeps me on point

Does not work. I had one shot to record the speed to a certain machine and this junk froze. I quickly restarted the app only to find myself bombarded with adds and redirections to the app store ....so yeah, I hate it

Good & Poor. That app itself is really quite good with the extras like car/bike and direction but really really lacks in other areas. 1. Once you invoke the app a timer starts. This timer runs continuously until it is turned off. I am more interested in knowing my driving time than I am knowing how much time I spent in the store in addition to drive time. They need a “Zero out” button. 2. Its to easy to go into setup up mode and difficult to get out of especially when driving. 3. This is the biggie. The redundancy time is horrible. You never really know your speed unless you going straight without touching the gas. It’s like there is a 5 second delay in updating your speed. Normal driving off a freeway the the MPH is all over the place. It will read 55 the go up to 58 down to 53 back up to 57 etc. all without touching the pedal. 4. The speed warning is a joke. You can only set a speed at which you want to be notified. That doesn’t do much good if you have to reset the app for excessive speeds I want to know what the speed limit is all the time not just one speed until you stop and change it.

Worthless money grab. App just bombards you with ad’s that block you from seeing your speed. Super aggravating. Would not recommend. Look elsewhere. Trash app. Garbage product. Delete this app. Do not download.

Radar accuracy. When the cop asked me how fast I was going I gave the same speed as his radar and ended up with a reasonable fine.

Great app.. If anyone saw my previous review, the issue was resolved, and my rating and review have been updated. i’ve been using this app since 2015 and must say it does its job very well. I’ve even found a few uses for the app that I’m sure we’re not intended when it was developed such as getting the speed and altitude when I am on a flight. if the plane I’m on is flying at 600 mph this app will show the full speed instead of stopping at 99 which is what some other apps I tried did. Earlier this week, version 5.0 was released, and I must say that I like the look of the app. There was originally an issue where for those who paid to remove ads they were not going away, but the developer has since fixed this. There are some nice looking features that have been added as a subscription. I personally don’t believe I will need those for how I use the app but I could see others benefiting from them and I’m glad to see the developer is still thinking of ways to make the app even better.

Great app!. When I first got a car it had a broken speedometer and I could not see how fast I was going when I hit pedestrians. But now that changed! When I got this awesome app I can track down my speed when I hit pedestrians, I can even change the colors of the speedometer so get this app, it’s great!

I need more features. Works well, but I thought it saved the information somewhere. I like to try to better the last ride, I’ll have to find another app.

Best GPS app. Bring back the old interface! I love the interface. My dash lights on my 2001 truck don’t work so I can’t see my speed at night. This app works perfectly for that. The speed is easy to read. Only thing missing is location based temperature. I drive a lot in the winter in Michigan and I’d love to see what the temperature is doing as I’m driving.

Perfect. Unlike most apps this one is easy to read! I like how this app makes it simple and not cluttered. Also the no ads is a big plus! Many other apps use ads and it just gets in the way all the time. This is the best speedometer app.

Works great, but.... The app has a problem with the rotation. When you rotate to landscape, the direction is 90 degrees off. The speedometer is between 1 and 5 mph off, but that’s expected because it is GPS. All in all, great app

Accurate. I used App at Bonneville Salt Flats in my race car and the App gave exact same reading as the timing system.

Speed check. Like it but sometimes a little slow to get up and going. Quite accurate to what our Corvette speedometer reads. It’s nice to be able to record top speed !!

Great. Heading is not accurate once you change phone's orientation. For truckers, the Grade metric is very relevant if you can somehow implement it. Also a little infograph showing the temperature would be great.

Great app. Very useful for testing speed on go karts and motorcycles that don’t come equipped with gauges the app works great and seems to be very accurate

Used to love it. Now there is a paywall. Used the add supported version for years. App updated and now can’t use the app without paying a subscription fee

Very Accurate. I use this in my golf cart when my wife and I are running around. It’s nice to know how many miles you have traveled as well as the speed that you’re traveling. This is a very nice app With a lot of nice features. I would highly recommend it. Thank You to the Developer

Good, but needs a clock. I love this app and use it often, but like 99% of the GPS apps it’s missing a clock to view the current time of day. I’ve only found one app so far that has it, but the interface is ugly. Please add it to this app.

Paid for the app and still has adds. I paid 2 bucks for this app to get rid of all the adds every time you open it and it still has all the adds. Very unhappy about that. I don’t recommend this app until they get rid of the adds when you pay for it.

Mr. Nice. I haven’t had a speedometer before on my cell, but this is for sure one of a kind!

Good but needs improvement. The speedometer works very well. Time and distance is definitely a plus. Speed warning is also a big plus. What I would like though is if there is some way to work on the accuracy of the direction. I know it says that the direction varies based on conditions in the description, but for some people, such as myself, I think this is a very important feature that should be accurate or at least as close to accurate when traveling. Also, on my iPhone, if I go out of the app when I am not using it and try to open it again, it literally freezes and will not open the app. I have to restart my phone for it to open. I am hoping something can be done to resolve these issues within.

Used to like it. I used this as a bike speedometer for a while and liked it. Now it has become annoying with the constant prompts to buy a premium version. I was ok with an ad start-up. I downloaded one of the dozens of other free apps.

Update please. The previous was a lot better looking than this new version. Wish you could bring back the previous design.

Payments. I am broke and yet it still made an advertisement pop up every time the app was opened and every second it was used I am not buying premium and I can only save one trip at a time unless I buy premium. If you do plan on using this app buy premium I won’t but it saves you a lot of troubles

Intrusive advertising. Horrible. Downloaded this app to have something to rely on when in case my speedometer in my old car crapped out, customized tje settings once and the ads would not stop with no way to close them even after exiting they would just pop right back up again.

Bike Rider. Excellent device to use, when riding your bicycle, it displays time, seconds, minutes, miles , etc.

Works great. It updates the speed in almost real time and is easy to use

Review. I have been using GPS SPEED for a couple of weeks. I have compared it to other gps aps offered thru the ap store. I have found this one the most intuitive to use. It seems to be extremely accurate, giving me the same readings for the routes I have previously done Perhaps it’s in the upgrade, but there is no description of what’s provided, I would like to have the miles traveled not reset when you exit the program. Provide a manual reset when re entering the ap. Also, the direction of travel always remains at 0. It would be helpful if it worked. Perhaps this is part of the upgrade. This being said, I highly recommend this app

No music functions. Music player not incorporated into this app. I love it on another bike gps, that I can control my music without having to switch apps.

Excellent App. I use this app in my old cars, to verify the accuracy of the speedometer, or for those that have Km/H speedos, for when I don’t want to do the conversion in my head. One added feature that would be nice is CarPlay compatibility, so I could display the speedometer on the radio face. I don’t know if that’s possible, but it would be really nice!

Ads are fine but full page to start is taking the .... Sorry guys, i don’t mind subtle ads but causing the app to crash and my phone to start up every time, not cool...

Why the update!!!!. It was perfect before the update now you change the layout like I pay for ads I expect no ads ever again or have setting to change the layout back to original (before the update)

Great, needs some things for the car guys 😉. Hey this is a fantastic app. Can you please roll out an update that pings the noise for going over the speed limit everytime I want to shift for a specific speed. So a rev shifter without being connected to the car that lights up and makes noise to shift at a set speed for each gear with 5-6 speed options. That would be sick!

What you can change. I love the app, it works great and responds with my speed on time. The speed limit feature is nice, but I reckon it would be better if it changes the speed on the speedometer instead of adding a little sign saying the speed limit. I use this app for my dirt bike and can only reach up to 110km/hr, so I want to set the limit so it looks as if i am maxing out the speedometer. Thank you.

Design was fine before the update. Update looks like a completely different app and design. Not worth my of an update or major overhaul. Update at your own risk. Not worth the hassle. The old design worked flawlessly. Feedback to creators: Release a different version of the app if you want users to use new features, most current users only use the app for GPS readout - that's it!!

Interstitial Ads Whilst Driving. I borrowed the review title from another user who complained about the same thing 1 year before me (it being April 2019, now). I *purchased* the app yesterday and used it today and had a full screen ad appear whilst in a moving vehicle. Not good for two reasons: 1. Full screen ad in n app intends for use in a moving vehicle; and 2. I paid for the app yesterday. This issue needs urgent attention. Apart from that grumble the app itself seems to function well and has a good, easy to read layout that is well suited to its purpose. Fix the issue above and I can rate higher.

Money grab since update. Why change what wasn’t broken? This app used to be basic, but did everything needed. Now they’ve made big updates and pulled features into the paid service that used to be included.

Why update & charge twice?. I was happy with the app before so happy that I purchased premium to remove ads. Now you have updated and added features I don’t need and you want money again… why not just release a new app?

Ads after purchasing Pro & then changed phones. Good app. Does what I want. Purchased Pro. Eventually the ads went away. Bought a new phone next day & Pro doesn’t transfer over. Looks like I’ll have to purchase Pro again???? Joe answered eventually & all good now. Ad free at last. Thanks Joe

Used to be good in its simplicity…. This was a great app in all its simplicity. I even paid for it to get rid of ads. Unfortunately, that wasn’t enough for the developer who now has nag screens in place to tempt you to get a subscription. UNLOCK PRO is now on the screen continuously. Too bad, but I’ll be removing this app when I find a better one.

Great little app :). Learning on a motorcycle, I have one where the speedo gauge is always showing higher than what I’m currently doing (usually out by up to 20km/h) and this shows pretty well perfect when it comes to live speed. Obviously for safety reasons I do not solely rely on this but it give me a good indication if I’m too low and need to catch up. Also love it because I was finally able to confirm my cars speedo is perfect and my friends is off, whom said mine was on when we tested our cars together ;)

Good if you can get past the ads. App works fine, however irrelevant advertising bombs every opening of the app with no obvious way to close advertising. I understand you half to make money. But some relevance would be useful. Deleted app

GPS won’t turn off when finished with app. There is no way to turn off GPS when finished with app

Ad broke the app.. Used once and was great, but now opening the app just loads an ad with no [X] or skip button to get to the actual app, no matter how long I wait. Was going to upgrade if it worked but this has put me off.

Interstitial ads while driving. Scenario #everytimeiopenthisapp: I have my phone in a mount. Click on the app while driving and bam, I get an interstitial ad for a game that REFUSES to let me close it until I either play the mini game on the ad OR click install on the sh#tty game. Please review your advertising decisions for this app which is designed to be used in a moving vehicle. Regardless of whether I interact with the app or not, it’s a huge distraction having a stupid war game ad/mini game running on my dash while someone is driving.

Fun!. Great for me as I am a kid who rides a dirt bike, I’m curious to figure out how fast I can go and it’s accurate and shows me my top speed, so I don’t have to screen record or watch it! 101 kph is my top speed btw. Totally recommend this amazing app

Great ish app. All in all the general premise of the app is pretty simple and easy. I just wish you guys would sort out your advertising method. For an app the requires me to have my eyes on the road this app sure does a good job at making sure that they are not. Either get rid of the adds or change something. Anyway it’s a good app so yeah

It’s pretty good for an app. The actual accuracy is pretty good, but I would recommend if this app is a backup because I tested this in a car going 80km with a reading of 78km, you may be going faster than it’s saying, but they did put a accuracy range showing it’s tolerance, but I love anyway

GPS Speedometer. I cannot set speed limit indicator. It is stuck on “20”. I paid, thinking that I needed to unlock it. I’ll give it a star rating if I can ever make it work! Yes! It works!

Good app, sometimes.. Really liked the app for checking my speedo, however it’s gotten to a point where, whenever I open it, it plays an ad that just never finishes. I have to continuously close and open the app like ~10 times for an ad that I can close. Takes too long to serve it’s purpose, will just look for another app.

Took you about 45 secs ads before entry the app. This used to be a good app. But the company becomes so greedy now, you have to wait and watch 45 secs (plus slow loading and many click on the ads) then entry the app

Accurate speedo. My speedo needs repairs so I tried out this app. The only problem was that when a phone call comes through, then the app is closed down. So, I bought a stand alone gps speedo, turns out it is 10km/h too fast, and this app is actually accurate! I’ve read reviews about the stand alone speedos & sounds like a lot of them are not reliably accurate. Well done to the developers here. This is an accurate gps speedo.

This app is quite a joke. After setup and even before being able to use it, you will be asked to let a review. Then you will be required to provide a payment methods. You have to, no choice. So I deleted immediately.

Best speedometer app. Great looking, easy to use and read, very accurate and you can also customise the look. The app works both in portrait and landscape mode and actually looks like part of the dashboard. Well done 10/10

Speedo. It is a great app, I love the speedometer on the left and all the stats to the right. There are four standard colours which are nice but the rest of the bank of colours you have to pay, which should be free. It is accurate and has nick and car mode along with speed limits

Recommended. What a great way to check speedometer on any vehicle that I may be in, my friends are so impressed that am trusting that they too will download this app.

Simple and easy to read. I use this app on my push bike and car (easier to keep your eye on your speed) is is easy to read and simple to use. Just as an app of this kind should be. May not have all the tracking features of some other apps but doesn’t have a subscription either, just take a screenshot at the end of your ride if you want to keep a record.

GPS speed. Easy on the eye, can check road speed in one quick glance. Extra info is handy also(elevation etc)

Love my licence. With regular change of heavy vehicles it gives you a chance of obeying speed limit by calibrating the in vehicle speedometer.

Speed fluctuations since update. Since the last update, the app will randomly increase displayed speed by up to 18kph, or decrease by up to 30kph. It seems to be random, but will occur multiple times per trip.

Does exactly what it says it does. Very happy with this app, it works smoothly and keeps my speed checked, very happy with it.

Speed. Easy to look at easy to use accurate

Slow to respond. App takes too long to register speed and then is quick to cover screen with adverts. Certainly one to miss

Mebbo. Seems to work very well. Saves having to find highway speed monitoring section to check new car speedos. Just what I was looking for. I have recommended it to my friends.

Awesome App. Great app for me cause I can still read with my driving glasses on the car speedo is too blurry. Would like to see change colour automatically if the that is possible in future updates, we all like to see different colours haha!

Speed alert is great.. I use it when bus driving. Have alert set to 80k’s very helpful. I turn off wifi & mobile data so I don’t get adds when driving.

Excellent app. I’ve been using this app daily anytime I drive for years now. Never had a problem. The new update is a huge improvement. Good work! I’m not sure if it’s even possible via the API, It would be great if the new map overlay feature could tie into the current route on Apple Maps.

L plate supervisor. Downloaded the free version of this app seems to work fine and is helpful in keeping an eye on my learner driver’s speed. I would upgrade to pro version if it enabled you to reverse the image and use it for a HUD reflected on the windscreen 😎

It was good…. It was a good app, the refresh is horrible and you got greedy with the subscription. Added useless features but didn’t add anything useful like CarPlay support. No longer happy with this App. I suggest others don’t update to the newer version.

Worst. Bugs every second, can't adjust speed over 260 km/h, need to go pro to change the colour

Pop ups. Too many pop ups

GPS Speed rating. The app is not working. Suspect it needs to be updated because of new iOs 11. The app developers should have had the upgrade ready for iOS 11 launch. Have not been able to try out the app as a result.

Solid app. Was honestly impressed with the function of the app, more features would be nice but overall it does what they advertise and efficiently as well. I definitely didn’t mind shedding a couple dollars for the ad free and colour changing options. Well done :)

Android favoritism.. I learned tonight that this same app with show a map of everywhere you went while running the app but only on android. As a iPhone person it makes me want to find another app to use. It works fine but it kinda made me a bit salty I can’t get a map on mine. 🤷‍♀️🤷‍♀️.

Speed is consistently 7-10mph over. Have tested in several areas, with mid to max 4G LTE coverage and it’s always way off.

Simple but good. Has a nice and clean interface and it's accurate

Bad bad bad!. Too much spyware. Very misleading app. On start up wants to send you to a suspicious website. Installed app and deleted within 2 minutes. Junk! Developers should be ashamed.

No walking mode. There needs to be a walking mode that ranges up 15 mph

6mph while sitting on couch. Worthless app said i was doing 6mph on the couch. Must be the speed the ads were flying at me

Is this some kind of joke?. The app shows that I am riding 20mph faster than my regular speedometer.

GPS app. This could be a great tool app but all I keep getting is games and spam and it’s really aggravating

Doesn’t work. This app doesn’t work on my iPhone 8 at all!

Stinks. All it does is tell you north east west south and speedometer does't work!!

Remove the Ads!. Nice clean app, works well for cycling, but ads make it unusable, even after paying for upgrade.
