This version does not work. Wouldn't let me pick my lake.. Couldn't even choose Smith Lake. Terrible app!

Shorelines was working. Map missing for south end of Lay.

Quit working. App quit working New Years Day.

Inconsistent and poor dam water level updates. Water level and dam water release info on smaller dams are inaccurately posted and are not updated.

Keeps shutting off. I used it one day and now it will cut off and shut down after displaying the logo. I have uninstalled and reinstalled and I can’t get it to do anything.

App is terrible. Already had an account but now won’t let me in no matter how many times I try to reset my password. Bring back the old app - much simpler to use. This new one is deleted.

Great APP. Love this APP. Works great. Love the way I can choose different lakes.

Not working. Says I am on Walter Bouldin Lake in Wetumpka and I am on Lake Martin in Dadeville. Cant figure out how to access lake levels

Will not load…. This app will not load. Goes immediately back to Home Screen. Same issue with both iPhone X and iPad Pro running beta 14.5

Broken!. Nothing but a blank screen with an Alabama Power logo. Deleted and redownloaded, same thing. I guess I could use if for a flashlight but it would be a dim one. Used to be a useful app to know when generators were going to run.

Great idea but does not work half most of the time.. App hasn’t worked properly in weeks. Water level and temp have been stuck or totally off. Hopefully they get it fixed soon.

A+. I was able to log in with my account and I am already enjoying the new features! I especially love that I was able to link my Nest thermostat in a matter of minutes!

Crashes often. Crashes often and has limited info. Very disappointing coming from Alabama Power.

Great app when it works. I use the app to check generation schedules. However, it crashes each time I open it now rendering it useless. I’m using an iPhone 6S with iOS 12.1.2.

Pending registration error. After updating, it won’t let me log in due to the pending registration error that others are getting- recommend you hold off on upgrading Shorelines until they get it fixed.

Hard time signing in. Just kept saying account pending after I changed the password 2 days ago Like the old app better

Create account. Would like to use app, but can’t create account. Will not accept password and tried many times. One would think the developers would fix the issue. I contacted app support and no response... 🤬.

Incomplete. Was looking forward to using but doesn’t have all the AL AL/GA owned lakes.

Liked Shorelines. Smart Lakes app his too new for me to fully appreciate it. I’m not seeing the detailed maps for Smith Lake as described in the app intro. In fact, I’m not seeing any map detail. Am I not doing something right in the app? It would be nice if it included labels for each lake area, such as Rock Creek, Brushy Creek, Ryan Creek, etc. labels for all the roads would also help. Google maps has far more info. I much prefer the former Shorelines which didn’t require me to to log into the app to check the lake levels. More instructions would be helpful. The ability to apply for permits and ask questions is a. Ice addition. I’m sure that the app will improve significantly with subsequent updates and releases.

Select lake. App keeps hanging up can’t even select my lake

Great app. It is a great app for a great use, now I don't have to call in to hear water levels and generation schedules. 5 stars no doubt!!

Only works half the time. I downloaded this app because I thought it would be easier than looking up apcshorelines website to see generation schedules. I should have just went by everyone else’s reviews. This app never works right.

Loved the old app, this one not so much.. Preferred the “Shorelines” app much more. All I really want is a current lake level and the level history. Too much to navigate through for me.

Smart Lakes not very smart. I would give this app zero stars if I could. During a flood event there was NO information on this app about lake levels until too late and no information about drawdown plans so residents can determine their actions. Managed just like AP manages the lake level.

Who knows?. Can’t log in. Reset password 11,000 times and still nothing.

Need lake level notifications!. App works fine for checking Smith Lake pool levels but it would be great if you could set phone alerts if the pool levels moved from point A to B. Please add this feature. It will improve the app drastically!!!

Missing “Shorelines”. Creating an account took 8 tries. And, then the information was limited to only our lake. Most of the other information, in my opinion, is superfluous. If other folks like it, let them have it, but I much prefer to dump this app and have “Shorelines” back.

Great app. I really like this app. Much better than searching for lake info over the web browser. In future releases I hope they incorporate the Shorelines magazine too. Looks good. Don't forget to turn your device sideways to see the lake level history.

App is dead. Not working for several iPhone xs

Update terrible. I was doing good with Shoreline App but no...... had to “update”. Now I can’t even log in absolutely useless. Guess I’ll have to go back to the old fashion way just call each lock. Bummer! ReDelicious leave good enough alone 😠!

Not happy. Prefer Shorelines app, clear, informative and concise. This is a mess!!

Needs Work. “News” feature typically crashes, making it useless. Login requirement is a ridiculous nuisance. There is absolutely no personal information on this app to necessitate password protection.

Sign on. I have tried several time to sign on, but it states that my email is already in use. I asked to reset my password and an email will be sent to do it. Email never came. The Shoreline app was perfectly fine for me. Get this working or go back to previous app.

Modern guide to the lake. Big fan of the updated Shorelines app. The interactive map shows marinas and other places of interest and makes navigating the lake (on the lake or from my phone!) much easier. Great add to connect to my home as well.

G. Just saves calling. Wish had more detail. Can you access more than one lake ???

App won’t let me get past page about interests. App gets stuck at page of interests

This app is not at all what it is supposed to be. People download this app for fishing info. No one cares how many lightbulbs the lake is powering or how much water is going through the turbines at any second. There are next to zero “spillway nerds,” and “lightbulb nerds.” Cater to the fishermen and your app will go a lot farther and get better results. No one wants to see the nearest mobile home park, or nearest subway/Taco Bell to the lake. People DO want to see things like: 1) water depth, (find water maps of the lake, upload data into app so we can see where holes and outcroppings are to fish off of. 2) hot fishing locations (allow fisherman to upload their own fish catches to the app and tag where on the lake they caught it, what species it is, and add pictures/comments. 3)show whether the lake is stocked or not. (Whether or not a lake is stocked has a big impact on the fishery, find out which lakes are stocked with what species of fish, and who does the stocking, and upload that data into the app.

Old was muck better. Old app was much better. Can not change lakes to monitor levels and generation flows. Only good for one lake.

Awful. This app will not even let you sign in.

Wish I could sign in. I had the Shorelines app and when it updated it wouldn’t let me sign in. I tried resetting my password and now it says “pending registration”. I can’t reregister because my email address is “already being used”. Not sure what to do now.

Needs serious improvement. Couldn’t access it because their cloud flare service blocked my home IP! How else am I supposed to use their app? The only way I figured out their app was not total trash was the error I got when I tried to send a contact and was blocked. That’s very poor app design. When I do turn off Wi-Fi and use my cell service, useful information like elevation history or past generator status is not there. At the absolute minimum, I should have a histogram of lake elevation with the current elevation listed. This app needs a serious overhaul, not that they’ll address any of the bugs or features in the fairly useless descriptions in their app updates.

Works, but could be simpler. Needs to be simplified. Too much flash. Give me hour by hour past and current generation and projected generation.

Disappointed. Log on issues. Says outside parameters. Tried several times to sign on or even tried to register. This app seems to have several issues.

Upgrade?. I have not set up an account and probably will delete the app. I can no longer just do a quick lake level and turbine check.

Fishing. Should update it to show if the pier at the dam is open for fishing..
