Favorites have disappeared. Love Firehouse and app used to be great, but in one of their latest updates the favorites are now nowhere to be found. I can still favorite an item, but I can’t give the item a name nor can I even find the item after I favorite. Where did they go? They’ve disappeared. Having favorites available makes the app super user friendly and makes me a lot more apt to order. Not having favorites available really creates a bad user experience. It makes me not want to use the app thus not ordering from Firehouse and use an app that has a better user experience like ChikFilA

Took away my reward. I used my points to put a large sub on my account, spending 10 thousand points. I was told that when you add a reward to your account you would never lose it. Yet the “production team” removed my award because it too 15 thousand points for future purchases to get the same sandwich. I added the reward before the points increased by 5 thousand and they removed it and gave me back my points and they think that is a fair thing to do!! It is not!! Now I have to spend 5 thousand more points to get the same reward! Calls to offshore support were of no help because they could go was put in a ticket which I never received responses. I did receive responses to messages from within the the app but no one will fix it! Just be aware that they can and will remove awards from your account!

Rewards Points don’t work on App. This app used to be good until its recent update. Now, every single time I try to order through the app and redeem my rewards points for a free item, it still charges me at the checkout as if I didn’t redeem the rewards points. I have tried various ways and multiple different times over the last couple of months hoping it would be fixed by now and it still does this every time. Its very frustrating to have rewards points and not be able to redeem them on the app because I don’t always want to go in to order just to be able to redeem my rewards points. What is the point of having an app to order food ahead of time if you can’t use the rewards you’ve accumulated.

Awesome Food and Service. Hi Firehouse Employees. These guys are always friendly and the food is always a hit. As a restaurant owner for 30 years plus in the pizza+ business. Hard to complete with so much competition now in Subs. What are the things I especially noticed was your wheat bread? It has an awesome taste to a little hint of sweetness. My dad will be trying the new Cuban tonight for the first time. I’ll let you know how much she loves it. moving to Georgia soon hope to see you there.

Location changes. Ordering in the App is pretty simple. However, the change of location method needs to be simplified. I ordered from the wrong location last time even though I had clicked on the correct link. The heart was highlighted for the correct location so I didn’t click on the location. I would have done the same thing this time had I not messed up before. If the heart of the desired location is highlighted, you shouldn’t need to click the location to add the order to the new location.

Love it, But….. I really appreciate the ease of use when it comes to ordering from this app. Especially when saving time of having to make an order at a location during lunch hours. But with that being said, the only thing I didn’t see or failed to see was a way to obtain a veterans discount. Might be overthinking it because it could be difficult to show proof on an app. But it would be nice. Otherwise, love the app!

Better Than It Used To Be. The app is a lot better than it used to be. My only note is that I wish it integrated with the delivery apps as the app has far more customization options than ubereats or doordash. For example, I can’t add cajun mayo to my sandwich on the delivery apps, but I can on this app. However, my only option on this app is pickup. I understand that this is a fringe quality-of-life issue, but thought I’d raise attention to it.

App ordering is fast and easy.. We love the Firehouse app. We use it a lot to order for pickup after church. It is fast and easy to use and the food is always ready at the time I select. The app remembers your orders so all you have to do is click “reorder” and select a pickup time. Very fast and easy. Plus, I can order a sandwich for my son who is away at college and it will be ready for him when he gets there. Awesome.

Awesome! One suggestion:. Hey! I work at a different restaurant chain so I understand how it can be hard to understand “special instructions” that are written out by the customers. But for example: my mom likes having pickles on her sandwich, not on the side. And whilst recently I found I can select “chopped pickles” I’d rather be able just to type “pickles on the sandwich please!!”. Other than that, the app does what it is set out to do very well. Easy to navigate and intuitive interface!

Not good…. This app has many problems that should be MVP confirmed working 100% of the time. 1. You can click 15 times the pay button and get no user feedback. Is it working? Do I have a bad connection? Took me about 20 or so clicks before Apple Pay loaded. 2. Once order is placed, I click on the Directions button again, to no user feedback. Is there an error? Did it register my press? Who knows… The best part of my first experience, the sign up login worked great. Just needed email phone and name. Very simple to just get the app and order food. Apart from my previous two issues.

Disappearing points. With this new app, my points disappeared. Granted, I don’t go as often as I used to, but my points were always available. When a new location opened right around the corner, I was ecstatic. I decided to look at the menu through the app and I had to sign in. I had to enter my email address and it created an account. If I remember correctly, all we needed was a phone number. As a result, my accumulated points have disappeared. Bummer. Also, there needs to be a drop down link for the menu.

Good with Stupid. The app in and of itself is user friendly. The overall experience of picking what I want on the sandwich is very straightforward. And it's easy to reorder previous purchases. Here's the stupid. I don't allow a lot of apps to send me notifications. So if I allow one, it's one from which I want information. Getting The notifications on THIS app is like going from Greenville, SC to Asheville, NC by way of Los Angeles, Ca. If I touch a notification in my feed, it opens the app.... which sends me to a website..... which prompts the Apple app store to open...... to the Firehouse Subs app store page..... which tells me to open the app. WAS THIS DESIGNED BY RUBE GOLDBERG!?!?! Talk About Taking The Long Way Around! That opened 3 apps...count it....1) Firehouse Subs, 2)Web browser, 3)App Store,....3 apps just to do 1 thing and I STILL have yet to see the notification. That's as stupid as asking for pickles on your sandwich and getting a long pickle spear on the side instead of sliced pickles ON the sandwich! Are you SERIOUS....!?!

Customer service. Usually everyone here is friendly, however this particular day the manager is very snappy when I had to tell them that the app did not modify my sandwich online and I was letting them know before they made it then we ordered at 12:11 online and headed there and still waiting at 12:32 for our food , watching people come in door get their food few minutes after ordering at counter. No greeting or anything. Very unfriendly today. Also they didn’t put bbq sauce on sandwich and they told the new girl and she literally didn’t seem to care. Food is always good, but service needs to be worked on.

On line orders. I am very disappointed that so many special offers are only available if you place your order on line. I enjoy going to the restaurant and placing my order with real people. I would use Firehouse so much more if I could have the same specials as the ones announced in my app but find that they are not available to me. As a result I don’t go at all anymore. You obviously don’t really want my review as you require a nickname to submit it. I put in 12 different names, including my own name and it consistently said that name was in use and to try again.

firehouse app!. I love the upgrade of the app i was told to write a review though and the text isn’t showing up on the screen as I’m typing . I’m typing blind .besides the point (please excuse any typos) the app works wonderfully compared to the last one I tried to use . the only complaint (besides not being able to see what I’m currently typing) is that there are no prices on the add on options when customizing my sandwich . I would like to see how much an extra add on would be . great overall otherwise !

App is slow. Every time I need to order I cringe at having to use the app because it’s extremely slow and freezes every time I use it. I other food apps and I have no issues only with this app. I go to the store and ask the employees if they’ve heard of the app having any issues with any other customers and unfortunately, they just stare at me dumbfounded or just blatantly don’t know anything to offer any assistance. I’m hoping this review will have IT look into the app a little further and the bugs that they seem to have. I have an iPhone 13.

Great employees!. Hi, always use this location for my subs. Whether I eat alone while out working or bring my wife with me, we always enjoy the cleanliness and pleasant atmosphere at this. Our local Firehouse Subs location. Can’t say enough about the pleasant staff and if I call in advance to order a sub. They are always pleasant on the phone and the sub is ready when I get there. Kudos to the management team at this location. I’ve been coming here for many years now.👍

No offers. In the world of mobile apps at restaurants I was disappointed to see firehouse subs little to no promotional offers running on the app. This also makes the point system in the app feel like it carries little to no weight. Mobile apps offer a speedy and convenient option for customers to order at the restaurant, but this app does not reward the dedicated consumer as much as the McDonald’s App or Wendy’s app. For that I give this app 3 stars. Functionality of the app is there, I can’t help but feel the app is a little slow when placing an order, doesn’t matter if you have full bars of 5GLTE or not, when you place the order it takes ~8-15seconds

New App can be a little better. Need a note section so I can put cut in halves. Little kids share a large sub. Need them separated for lunch. Nice they added cold meat and toasted bread option. Kids eat for lunch so don’t needed toasted or heated. Thanks for option but missing one more. Should make ordering at any order for future pick up. Went to look at menu late at night and couldn’t access it because all locations were closed. Other than that it’s been pretty easy

Waste of time as they do not honor giving reward points!. Joined Firehouse Subs yesterday and ate there. I sent picture of receipt and they said they could not read it. Again I sent a different picture that was completely readable. Again the they said they could not read it. I am a senior citizen in my seventies and I could clearly read it on my Apple phone. They again said they could not read another detail. I sent three more new photos. After sending six times and always rejected I am deleting my app! They lost a good customer over the years who will never eat their again.

Promised a large sub combo by female manager. I’ve contacted customer service twice because whomever is shift now is wakadoodle. I was disappointed dissatisfied with my order about a month ago. Contacted Customer Support and they referred it to the manager. I got a call out of the blue and she was very cordial seemed very concerned. She offered me a Large Sub Combo as a goodwill gesture to make up for my previous purchase. Now everyone is acting brand new because I am trying to redeem said offer. I have had dealings with the one young lady on shift and I need some paperwork for this!! I refuse to subject myself to her scrutiny! L. OCain

Love the app, Love Fire House Subs👍🏽. I appreciate the option the app has for previous orders. It’s so easy for me to simply click on a previous order since I’m getting the same thing. Two steps! G job app developers. Good job, Firehouse for not being cheap and skimpy on the meat! Good job on consistency, good job supporting the firefighters! it does make a difference, that’s why you are still my #1 sub franchise.

Okay App, when the store is taking orders. The update has a few problems. Like the Spicy Cajun, where the app defaults into taking off the jalapeños and substituting in regular mayo for the spicy version. Complained about a couple orders till I dug through the customization screen to spot that. My biggest issue is reliability. There is only one Firehouse location locally, the next is fifty miles off. And this location is chronically not taking online orders. Don’t know if the online order system is that unreliable or the employees are unplugging it at the store. But I do know that often I miss out on time limited deals because the store is blacked out for the entire period they run, and unlike Subway there is no easy way to claim a deal when I can’t order via the app, or add an in person order to it.

T-Mobile Tuesday offer does not work. Firehouse subs has great tasting food but with the current inflation they have raised their prices so much that many people can no longer afford to eat there. Like $12 for a medium sub is just not very practical for many people unless they have a coupon like the T-Mobile offer. That’s why I was disappointed that the offer could not be uploaded and then I went into a store and they said that the codes are not working for anyone and they had no way to give me the free sub. I guess it is time to cross Firehouse subs off my list of places to eat. Probably also time to switch from T-Mobile over to Patriot mobile.

App doesn’t work. I can’t get this app to work on my iPad. It opens up and there are no pictures of menu items or even words. Just a bunch of lines. If you tap on a lined area a picture of a sub will open but it’s like hunting on a blank screen for the right sandwich…and it’s never the right sandwich. I used to have the original and it worked fine. I’ve downloaded this over the last year multiple times and then deleted it as it won’t work. This is a brand new iPad so it’s isn’t the hardware. Like the subs, but we’ve had to order via DoorDash. Idk if Firehouse is aware this is a problem, so here’s hoping y'all fix this.

Big issue. So this is for my father who doesn’t write reviews. He had a birthday free sub for his birthday like a week ago. The description on the app gave ZERO indication of any timer or use by date so he slotted it for today in our schedule. He opens the app before leaving and it’s gone whoosh vanished so he had to google it and then found out you only have 6 days to use it which is 1)extremely low(most places give 2 weeks) and 2)rather important to know to actually use your rewards on time so they’re not yanked back. He got a BOGO coupon for subway so we’re doing that today and getting 2 meals out of each cause it’s 12 inches vs like 8 for FS’s subs

Changed Birthday Reward without notification. Firehouse used to send a birthday email and the free sub was available for 6 days. This year there was no email, and no birthday reward in the account. When I contacted customer service, I found out that it is now “the day before, during, or after”. Very disappointing policy change with no notice. I contacted them 3 days after my birthday about the issue, because I thought I still had time. I had wanted to go the day after, and had noticed it wasn’t there, but wasn’t able to contact support until the following day. I’ve always loved Firehouse but will not be going back now.

Good app …. but. The app is good. It is intuitive and easy to use. I really like their subs and my family knows it so I had received gift cards from my family for my birthday or other occasions. I am very annoyed that they sell gift cards, but you cannot use them in the app. I have asked family members not to give me Firehouse Sub gift cards for that reason. Sorry Firehouse Sub but you are loosing business because my gift cards are for other places now because they allow the use of gift cards in their apps.

A step in the right direction. I haven’t used this app in a long time, due to the fact that the old app sucked donkey Kong’s balls. It was bad. But with this redesign app. Things to be working better. App is a lot cleaner and easier to navigate. Needs dark mode though !!!😀. And thank you for allowing Apple Pay!! Very pleased with the app right now. Hopefully this stays going in the right direction.

iPhone 15. As I watch 7 customers walk into the building wait in line and receive there food I am still playing tug of war with the app trying to submit a order for 2 sandwiches. With the prices I pay here I shouldn’t have to lift a finger for my food but instead your prices continue to go up and everything else continues to decline. Now I’m stuck waiting for my mobile order which already took me 10 minutes to submit now add another 10 minutes of waiting and I still have yet to receive my food cause they are busy with a line at the counter. Mobile apps are for speed and convenience! You have found a way to do the exact opposite

Great App Great Food with One Request please. Everything about this app makes it easy to order for pickup or delivery including the menu with pictures and descriptions. The only thing that is lacking is being able to add a gift card in to pay for my order. I love to use gift cards to pay for my meals. After purchasing a FireHouse Subs give card found out that if I want to use it, I’ll need to go in person to place my order. That’s not convenient!!!!! There’s usually quite a wait for whatever I order and being able to place an online order then go and pick it up is absolutely the Best way for me and my family to order but I can’t use a Firehouse Subs gift card to pay for it. Next time I’m standing in front of the gift card stand at my shopping store that gives 4X points I’ll have to choose another restaurant to spend my money with because I’m not going to waste time waiting when I never eat there at the restaurant

Firehouse Sub in Novato. First thing the ordering process in the app is so easy and if you’re like me I customize my orders all the time very easy to do in the app. When you pick up your sandwich your greeted by a very friendly and professional staff member that welcomes you to Firehouse Subs. Every sandwich they make is Fresh so you may be waiting for a few minutes which is fine with me as I prefer a fresh sandwich then one ready and stale. I’ve now made Firehouse Subs my sandwich and goodies, my go to in Novato for now on. Good to see a business that puts the customer first. Well done..😃 Signed Customer for life !!!!

Firehouse is my fav.. How easy it is to order and personalize my food on the app! I also love how easy it is to order at the counter nice the employees are every single time I walk in! As well as being very satisfied with the amount of time it takes to make my order from ordering online or ordering at the counter! and I think it’s amazing that they donate to our fireman! and every single thing that I have eaten there so far, I think it’s amazing the amount of meat they put on sandwiches !

Best Sandwich App Ever. If you’re lucky to live close to Firehouse Sandwich Shop this app us a must. The purchase points system in the app makes the app worth it. You can easily add and customize any sandwiches to your order, pick a time to pick up and pay. I made an order 5 minutes ago and by the time I hit the drive through it will be ready.

App won’t let me in. I “dine in” @ FH often. I stopped using app ages ago because of little/frustrating issues each time. I have to go to store anyway so why fool with a troublesome app. I always give my phone number to earn points, but never know if/when/# points. Today when placing my order they checked at the register and I have 20,000+ points. I and manager both tried to check via app,but it keeps saying update app (but not updating when clicking) and won’t let me in. PS…I LOVE HOOK&LADDER…best sub ever! ———-UPDATE App finally updated. It now seems to be working correctly. I think the problem was just very very slow updating. In fact, today I was able to use the app to redeem points in the restaurant for a free Hook & Ladder sub. There were no problems this time. If it continues to work as it did today I’ll be happy.

If the poor update wasn't enough, sneaky fees will rob you.. I've been using this app since 2017, where it was much better. It had a better UI and a more engaging experience. A bit over a year ago it was updated to its current look, not only making it less appealing to the eye, but slowing it down, removing some features, and causing loads of technical problems. The cherry on the cake, however, is that when placing an order, they will automatically select to add a donation, without alerting you. If you don't notice the higher subtotal, you may be having your money swindled. This shouldn't be illegal. I attempted to back out of an order when I noticed, only for it to say there was an error and my order was finalized. I attempted to reach out for a partial refund but have been ghosted. The rewards program is decent, but do not use this app for ordering!

Editing Orders. Recently, I place an order for pick up via the app. As soon as I click order I realized the pick up time was set up the following day at store open. Immediately, I tried to cancel the order through the app. There was no easy “cancel” option. The only way to cancel via the app was to fill out a support ticket and describe the issue. So I did that. Also, I went to the store and asked them if they could cancel it. But they said no. So I decided I’d let the support case attempt to amend the issue. Fast forward to the next day - I never received an email or phone call from support. So I tried to fill out another support application. I also tried calling the restaurant prior to open and again right at open. After they finally answered they said they were in progress of making it… So now I’m not sure whether I will ever get my $30 back since I won’t be able to pick up the order and the support case wasn’t resolved in a timely manner. Ugh

Best subs. I genuinely love your hook and ladder sub, I’ve now started trying all your signature subs and have yet to find a bad one. Only have the engineer and turkey bacon ranch left to try. The service is always great, your cause is awesome, come to think of it there’s not really a negative I can think of surrounding your company and it’s employees or service. Maybe if it was free! Haha jk firemen need all the help they can get! Keep it up and thank you guys!

Poor customer service on issues. They went through all these changes to make the app function better along with the point system. They offered a free sandwich to members for point issues, which on checkout it charged me still for the sandwich ! Luckily the store helped me out. Then they upped the points cost for their rewards and it was still trying to charge me for my sandwich and not letting me use my points for rewards. I’ve submitted a review and filed complaint with 0 response. Kinda lame, the food is great and staff rocks. This app has always been a hassle and hopefully they get it figured out, along with their customer service online.

Rewards program is worthless now.. The new update making it cost 15,000 points ($225) for a free meal instead of the 10,000 points ($150) it used to cost before is the reason I’m only going to firehouse once a month now instead of weekly. It used to barely be worth it for the rewards problem but now it’s just worthless I’m going back to subway. I can get 2 subs BOGO deal for $10 and save $10 every time I eat there, Instead of spending $225 at firehouse for a $15 deal.

Rewards. At least 3 months I’ve been waiting to see my rewards that me and my daughter have been collecting. And that’s at least 3 months of not seeing them which is unfortunate because we love Firehouses Subs. I may not be back until I can redeem my rewards that we’ve been working on. Other than that the updates have been great. Just wish we could redeem the points collected over this past year that I have not been able to see these last few months. Hope this can be worked out.

You have cheated me. Your app no longer functions for me and when I complained about it I was told to delete the app and reinstall it. Now it appears my old review is gone also. Along with my 50,000 points that I had saved up. Do you guys need to mail me five coupons for free large subs or I will neverAnother penny at any of your restaurants. You should be ashamed for ripping off a veteran. Seems like with all the bad reviews I’m reading about your app that someone in your company would be concerned enough to fix the problem but it seems like a money grab and which you don’t want to honor your points. I think I’m gonna call a friend of mine who is an attorney to see about a class action lawsuit. I really hate con artists especially the ones that I have been a good customer for.

Quality has really slipped. My Cuban had pork on one side, ham on the other, and the sandwich was sort of warm (and this goes for my wife's hook & ladder as well) but not as warm as we're used to. I asked for slaw on the side which wasn't done. This is not a 'one time' complaint - it's happened 2-3 times at Higley and twice at Market st. This time the lead at Higley (very nice and helpful but....,) said that the bread toasters weren't working well, and same for the meat 'steamers. That is lame. We've been spoiled by great subs for a lot of years but we're ready to pull the plug if it happens again (at least for these two locations). Shame -- the ingredients are still first rate, but preparation is barely 3 on a scale of 10.

Ordering was fine but…. Going through the app to order was fine. Everything worked well and I was able to customize and change what I wanted. I paid out to the location and closed the app. About a minute after my roommate said that they also wanted food and so I went back to the app. I went to my order and selected the option to “Add to” the order. And added the sandwich and paid. I picked up my order with the assumption that the “Add to” option had changed my original order. It had not. I ended up getting my original order two times and the other sandwich. So in actuality the “Add to” button isn’t actually an add to order but more like another “Separate order”.

App and Stores not in sync. Be aware that it is possible to order items on the app that are not actually available for purchase. I ordered one of the limited-time sandwiches on the app, but when I went to pick it up, I was told that the item was no longer available, and that I would have to order something else. There was no indication when I placed the order of any problem, and I was not contacted by the store when they received the order from the app. Then, when I asked for my money back since they couldn’t give me what I had ordered and paid for, I was told that the store couldn’t refund an order placed in the app. Firehouse needs to get their act together.

Garbage. This app is absolutely the worse app I’ve ever downloaded!! What’s the point of tryin to place an order ahead of time when u can’t. I go in an half the time what I want to order don’t even show up in the menu but yes they still sell it an then when I finally have points to redeem I can’t even order in app as usual because how convenient the sub I wanna order isn’t sold at my location but yet it is!! This is a joke an the store location is slow hence y some people would rather order online an we can’t even do that. WHAT A JOKE!! Someone needs to fix this garbage

They made me love subs again. I used to yearn for the sub sandwich of my youth with the wonderful bread and the plentiful fillings. Nothing compares until my Team Mobile app sent me to Firehouse for a Hook and Ladder. Now I have the app and getting deals that are hard to pass up. This particular Firehouse is especially friendly and patient, you can tell it’s locally owned and that’s a bonus. These sandwiches are the bomb, everything fresh and heaps of it. I’m branching out to meatball, pastrami and corned beef but my first love will always be the saucy Hook and Ladder. Thanks guys!

Awesome Subs but that’s about it. I used to love this app and my local restaurant. But it’s been over a few months now and I still can’t order a chicken sub from my local restaurant because it keeps saying it’s unavailable. It is available but the app refuses to let me order it. Also last time I ate at the Traverse City, MI location my order for me and my girlfriend was wrong and I was forced to wait over 15 or possibly 20 minutes for a do over of my order and it was still wrong. I received no apologies or compensation, and was blamed for my order being wrong. The subs are fantastic don’t get me wrong but everything else is awful.

Love the subs.. I’m not too happy that a lot of the time I don’t get my points recorded because either the person taking my order is new or they distract me from giving them my phone number & I don’t get credit & then they say they can’t give me credit! I totally agree with person’s earlier review about cashier should ask about this. This should be required in their training or is it just you don’t want people to get credit??? I have lost at least 5 credits because of this. This is not acceptable when you highly advertise this!!! The last time I ask them at the end of my order she said they no longer accepted where you go go on line & fix it. As I told her I haven’t been able to get to where you are suppose to be able to get credit anyway. I also can’t find where I have any free sandwich. This needs to be fixed so everybody has excess not only people who are text savvy. I have never had problems with any other app but yours. Thank you!

Love the app, love the food, hate the new rewards…. I had been saving up for a long time to get a catering platter… I have 46,000 points. I went there weekly, taking advantage of double points and everything just to redeem the highest reward tier. I’m currently at 46,000 points and was so close before they changed the rewards. Kind of killed my excitement and enjoyment. Still love the food but darn… Sure, I could’ve made more of an effort but I was already spending so much and the company decided to hurt me…

Payment processing is really bad. Using Apple Pay, the app seems to accept the payment, but then the order doesn’t complete. The restaurant won’t accept my order via screenshot. This app is buggy, please fix, it’s miserable that payment is so hit or miss. Aggravating in this day and age.

We love it!. We’ve been coming to firehouse since they first opened this location. I was pregnant at the time and became a regular customer. 10 years later we are still here 😊 Everyone is always so friendly and welcoming. I sometimes make big catering orders as well and everything is on point. ❤️ Thank You!

This app will not let me sign in or sign up. I don’t know what the deal is with the app, but it won’t let me sign in or sign up. If I try to sign up it says duplicate account. If I try to sign in it say this user does not exist. I have tried deleting the app. I have tried different email addresses and phone numbers and I get nowhere. I have even contacted support and they tell me it’s fixed and that they added bonus points, but it still won’t work.

Unusable without cheese. The new app is so much better than the old one BUT I can’t use it at all because it doesn’t allow you to select cheese. If you get a specialty sub that normally comes with cheese, it lets you remove but not replace it. And if you build your own, you can’t add cheese. It’s been two months and they still haven’t fixed it.

Hooked on hook and ladder. Firehouse sub has so many choices and variety to choose from. I personally fell in love with the hook and ladder hot specialty sub and also love their salads!!! I would rate them 10 if I could. I also love that the app gives an “option” to donate to the fire department!!!

Best Subs Ever!!!. Firehouse Subs are the absolute best subs I have ever had! My entire family agrees! Any kind we have ever had from Firehouse has been exceptional! Please open up a shop in Crawfordville, Florida, as there is more than enough room to put in a shop there and it is much-needed!

App got worse. They removed recent order history from the pick up ordering flow. It now exclusively takes you to the full menu. The only way to repeat past orders is to find recent history under the menu, add an item, then go back, start a pickup order, and click review. Very clumsy. Big miss. Food is great though.

Finally an impressive update. The old app was okay once you got used to it. This app is so much easier and more intuitive to use. I really like the ease of applying points for the purchase, much better flexibility. Being able to move through standard non-custom sandwich adds to the order is quicker.

Easy use of app!. The app is really easy to use and order regularly made sandwiches. As long as you’re vigilant and check the location well. I’ve had an issue in the past of ordering from the wrong store. 😏Love the Subs!

Sign up issues. I’ve been trying to sign up for over a week but it tells me i have an account (which i don’t) or the app just freezes. I’ve reached out about it to no avail. I have reached out to support 4 times now and they haven’t done anything about it.

So Easy, So Fresh. Using the Firehouse Subs ap is quick and thorough. One of us will pick up the meals, return home, and it’s all ready and fresh. I don’t get wilted lettuce or old tomatoes. (I also don’t have to keep extra produce in my fridge to throw out later!)

Amazing.. Everytime we come in as a family, everyone is so friendly, and makes sure that everyone’s order is correct and feels welcomed! Highly recommend coming in to talk to the staff, and enjoy a great sandwich! Thank you Lily and Wilbert for always making sure everything is 100%!

One of the best fast food apps!. I do a lot of mobile ordering and many apps are annoying to navigate but this one is user friendly and allows customization for the sandwiches or other menu items which is nice to access.

Inconsistency. Used to be my favorite sub. But recent orders have been very sloppy. I usually order an extra pickle, and the last two orders had no pickle at all. Sandwiches have been thrown together and very sloppy. No napkins in the bag. I noticed when I went in, staff was standing around looking at phones. I’m not impressed with the management at the Balch Rd. location.

App doesn’t work on iPad. I have downloaded multiple times and deleted the app. I cannot get the app to work on my iPad. Running latest version iOS. 18.1.1. Is there a problem with your app on iPads? I have it on my iPhone and it works fine. I just prefer to use iPad.

Would be 5 but…. Why would yall take away the light option on condiments and other stuff like pepper and salt or anything for that matter now I outta have a doused sandwich when all I wanted is it on there lightly bring that back asap please and I can’t even customize it like I used to I hate this update for sure please bring back all option to have light heavy or regular

app is confusing when using rewards. After you click Rewards, there is a big red button at the top that says Order Now. But don’t click it, even though you almost certainly want to order now. You have to scroll down and find the sandwich you want and ignore that button. And why, when redeeming rewards for a sandwich, can I not select the kind of chips I want? It only allows Lays classic.

Slows down as you use it. The app starts off working at a decent speed, but then gets slower and slower and slower within 5 minutes, which is so crazy annoying. I have to force close the app multiple times to get my order to go through. I love firehouse subs, their food, their mission, and their points system… but using this app app is like pulling teeth :( Update - thanks for the response, I have an iPhone 15.(regular version, not the pro)

App is crapping out on me today. I cannot get the app to pull up my account or ask me to login. It says something has gone wrong and directs me to contact customer service through the INFO section. But then when I do that it says "no mail account configured". It's not worth the hassle to call or anything to get this figured out, so I just ordered my sandwich from a different company today. You lost some business there. Hope you get it resolved

Reward system makes no sense. I’m at a Firehouse trying to redeem a sub reward that I earned and you can’t redeem it at the store (although the app says you can). So I put the order in the app and now it says I can’t get my order until 10:45 the next morning. That makes no sense. Also why do I have to buy something else to get my reward? No other restaurant does this? Well after I get my reward I’m deleting this app and I’m done with Firehouse subs period. Between this app nonsense and rude employees that work here it’s clear Firehouse doesn’t want my business.

Jonesboro Road store. My Husband and I love how we can put our order in while we are on the move, and pick it up with no waiting. The app recognizes our favorite items with one quick click of a button. The subs are great.

Excellent staff!. For a long time I wasn’t a huge firehouse fan up until these last 6 months. Now I eat it weekly all around town while working and the staff at the Clermont store are the best! They’re always full of energy, extremely helpful, and outgoing. Favorite location to eat at in the Orlando area!

Almost perfect. Please bring back the section where you can type in special instructions. I used to be able to type in a note to the restaurant before the latest updates deleted that section.

Best subs!. I always have a great experience with Firehouse. The staff is always friendly and the sandwiches are great. I would recommend 1 but I’ve had a few different kinds and they’re all tied for first place. 10/10 would recommend.

Offer disappeared. I received an email today saying that if I ordered in the app or online, I could get a meal for half the price. And it showed that that is what it was on the email. But then, several times I tried to go to the app and get online and follow their links and the offer never showed up. When I called the store, they said they were not allowed to help me, but that they could give me a number for some corporate office somewhere. So I’ve decided to go to a different restaurant from here on out.

Mystery fee added when ordering through app. I noticed when ordering through the app there is always a $1.09 fee that gets added between the food price and the subtotal, but it is not shown what that fee is for or where it comes from. After submitting an inquiry through the app asking about it no one even bothered to respond. Decent app, easy to use, convenient and thus encourages further business that may not have been done without app but cannot rate it high due to invisible fees added to orders.

Update took away less bread option. The main reason I like Firehouse over the other sandwich places is that they will scoop out the inside of the bread, but that option is not there anymore. It is still an option when ordering in the store though, so I try to tell them before it’s made which negates the whole order ahead for pickup idea. Put it back!

Great Firehouse location. I’ve been coming here for over ten years and I’ve never had a bad experience. They’ve always communicated with me if they are out of something or once I accidentally double ordered and they called to confirm my order. Thank you !!!!

Improving the app!. At first I was not overly impressed the app was a bit clunky and needed really good cell service to function well. With the recent update it seems much better so far. I love firehouse, their food is great, the way they support first responders is awesome!

Receipts. There should be a way to upload receipts that you receive when you order directly in the store and they do not ask you for your phone number and after the fact you remember you need your receipt to be added to your account so that you can get your points. That should not require an email that availability should be here on the app.

Firehouse subs. You don’t have the nutrition on the app for each sub / item. Why ? You are required to have an account just to talk with support. Why ? Don’t you care about the people that are not members yet ? Don’t you feel that there opinion matters too ? Doesn’t look like it when it’s locked to only members on the app. If I could have reached out and talked with someone on the app I could have had my order in. But guess there’s other places that care about the customer more over there member count.

Store selection needs improvement. Overall this is a really good app. Ordering and looking at deals and rewards are very seamless. The one glaring issue is the lack of being prompted to choose a store. It’s very easy to forget to change location if the store you’re ordering differs from the store you used previously.

Can’t use rewards. After the app has been updated I can no longer redeem my rewards. I keep collecting them and they need to get this fixed soon. I asked the manager in store and he said about half of their customers are having this issue. Edit: just received an email announcing that in a month the amount of point’s required to redeem for items is going up. I still can’t use my current rewards before this change. I bet they magically fix the error that all of us is having AFTER the change.

Great customer service. Billy always goes out of his way to make sure you’re sandwich is everything you want and expected. He helped me understand how they make the sandwiches. I always buy 2 one for today and one for tomorrow, they don’t steam the meat on the one for tomorrow so it’s NOT soggy…. Great job Billy.

False info. You app says that the grilled chicken sub is not available at the cedar city ut store 1242 . And I find it rather odd because I have ordered it before on the app and in store either it’s a bug or something else plus I also work at same restaurant and had many issues with people not being able to redeem there free birthday subs even though it is with in the specified time it has been a constant issue please fix it

Employee attitude. Usually employees friendly. The young woman who took our order obviously didn’t want to be there. She didn’t ask what bread I wanted. When I asked could she change it to wheat she said yes I’ll tell them. Well she obviously didn’t because the order was on white. We told the maker of sandwich and she remade us a new one. Young woman was more interested in conversation with co worker than taking our order and correcting it.

Much improved over the previous app. This new app is much more streamlined and easier to use. The subs are always great but this app doesn’t jerk around with setting times first then having to change them around.

Iphone App. For a long time. I tried multiple times to place orders on the app and was failing continuously. I lost lots of points that way. Finally I was able to do it somehow sometimes the app doesn't work. Only Firehouse app acts strange. Please make sure you fix all the issues. Thanks

A BIG rip off. As my wife and I recently walked into a Firehouse shop to eat, I opened the app and was immediately required to update it. So I took the time to go through the process of updating. When it was completed I noticed it was different and then I had none of the rewards that I had earned previously. I have tried everything, and I still do not have those rewards. I spent a lot of money earning those rewards. I am not happy!

App doesn’t work. Placed an order via the app, received 3 error messages that my card didn’t go through. Checked my bank and I was charged 3 times. Went back into the app to review order history and not orders come up. Called the store to where I placed the order and they have no orders for my name all they could do was give me an 888 number that didn’t work. Went online to place a complaint on the website and received an email that a specialist would contact me in 24-48 hours. Not sure if anyone else has had this problem?!?!

Delivery. I think it’s weird that when I wa splaying a delivery order it said it would only charge “$5.15” for delivery. But the total was over 15 dollars more than the subtotal and it wouldn’t break down where the extra $10 was coming from.. classic corporate America. Also I noticed they put they won’t refund for accidentally placing at the wrong location. Also to switch from delivery to pickup it had to empty my entire cart and start over… The apps honestly glitchy and bad anyways. I just won’t use it again.

Glitch with customization options. I was glad to see the updated app after having problems with the old version, but unfortunately I can't use this version either because of the simple fact that you can't remove tomatoes from subs that come with tomatoes. Every other ingredient has the option for "no, light, normal, extra, or on the side," but tomatoes are just stuck there. And since I'm never going to want tomatoes on my subs, I can't use the app to preorder.

What happened?. The old version of the app while glitchy was more consistent with the options menus and prices. The updated app only recently had the option of adding a drink to your order. Furthermore, the prices went up $5 for a meal within the past few days. I don’t know if that’s because there was a promotion for bonus points and the cost was to offset the bonus points. If that’s the case, then they are not really bonus points. Please do better.

Still one of the worst apps for the iPad. Just updated the app again and once again it demonstrates an app that is not tested. The app is unusable on my iPad Pro. Can’t see any menu items except a list of previously ordered items. Shows divisions that might be for different menu items, but nothing is displayed. Makes it difficult to want to be a return customer. We usually order at least once a week, but this app makes it frustrating. Our best option is to try to use the web app, which is not much better.

Easy to use. I love the app, its easy to use and service at the Cape Coral commons location is impeccable. I do wish there was an option for military to put their information in for the discount, otherwise you’d need to stop by the store to get it. All in all, good app, better subs!

Good… but could be great.. The only problem I have with Firehouse in general is you can get extra cheese on a sandwich but you can only get the kind of cheese that is already on the sandwich. There needs to be different cheese options on the order screen. Other than that it’s pretty great.

Easy to order but needs more customization options. The app is pretty easy and fast to use. My biggest complaint is lack of customization options. I use to be able to replace the cheese on the sandwich with another cheese but that option appears to be gone now. Also cannot add extra onions. All other veggies you can add extra but not onions??? Even when you build your own sub, you are limited in options.

Reward Scan. It’s kind of convenient their reward system was “down” for so long. The only way to redeem your points for that time period is to send in a receipt which I did, but no one confirms they received your email or let’s you know the points are pending. I had a $100 order from a month ago I still haven’t seen points hit my account for. Really annoying and doesn’t make you want to go back very often.

Couldn’t sign up!. I got a promotional email for a BOGO this week but it was only good if you ordered through the app. I tried for 20 minutes to create an account on the app- never could! I finally gave up and went to the store thinking I would just order our usual but the store honored the promotion! Very happy! Please fix your app to make it easier to create an account!

Great App. Great new app. Only complaint is I can no longer place any comments nor is there an option to order sides of dressing. I love dipping my sub in Italian dressing but can no longer indicate that. I hope this is an issue they fix soon.
