Great in-class resource. We use this app in med school to encourage student response and assessment. Works wonderfully well!

Great for participation. This app makes it quick and easy for me to respond to polls.

The iPad app (not the service) is extremely poor.. This app doesn’t adhere to standards of productivity/presenting apps; in fact, it’s less useful than just going to pollen.com on your mobile device. For example, it doesn’t support Split View, Slide Over, or any other iPad multitasking features that have existed in iOS for years. It also lacks a “presenter” view, where projecting to an Apple TV or other external display hides other features of the UI (such as the status bar and notifications). Again, something that many apps offer. So, what you’re left with is a giant iPhone app with distinguishing features whatsoever. If you’re looking to use PollEverywhere, I recommend using Safari until the app developers get their act together.

So buggy it’s unusable. Extremely buggy and can’t properly do the most basic aspects of the app, to the point where it cost me on my final grade. Waiting to see whether the question posted actually appears is like flipping a coin, the app is simply unreliable

Horrible - waste of class time and university money. My university purchased a premium account for all of us in my university... And let me tell you that was a waste of money. Since the beginning I've had issues. I've switched to teaching on my iPad and they haven't figured out a simple constant bug, how to keep the text on the slide. The text on the poll slides off to the right for no apparent reason. So you literally cannot see your question or the student responses.

Great Service, App Needs Work. App needs to run significantly faster - load is particularly painful. Copy/paste and some improved UI would also be useful. Generally, I love the service. This is a great product generally - app just needs some work.

Needs horizontal view. I have no idea why this doesn't have the ability to view in landscape.

Money Grab. This app doesn’t allow you to create a single poll without a subscription, yet the pricing is not visible until you give them all your sign up data. What a scam...don’t bother.

Constantly need to restart app, questions do not load. I am on iOS 15.6.1 for iPad. I must restart the app and rejoin the poll every time the presenter moves to the next question. Sometimes the questions do not load at all.

Great app but missing key item. The app is great functionally. One BIG issue I see though is why not show to text to number as well as the URL? Each poll generates a unique text XXXXX to 22333. Why not include this number in the app?

No phone support. The lack of phone call option to request support is more than inconvenient. Since you have to interrupt your work, send an email and wait for a reply which will result in several hours of wasted time! So, if you’re planning on same day presentation, it’s better to avoid this software. Otherwise, if you have long time to prepare in advance, it’s a great tool.

Professor Peter Adler. I love PollEverywhere! I use it to grade participation (1 point for doing and uploading the homework; one point for attending class; and one point for speaking in class). No more paper and I can work up everyone’s participation score in 1-2 hours for each half of the semester. Polls work great for exams and there is automatic grading for multiple choice questions. I show everyone’s answers anonymously by student ID and the correct answer. Live polling, at random and in PowerPoint, also gets everyone in the class involved, and it is fun to see live results change, such as how students rank the case studies we use. Anonymous polls are useful too. Highly recommended!

I cannot log in. This app looks very very sophisticated. However it will not allow thy user to create thy account using this app.

Needs Horizontal View. If you are presenting with Keynote, would be nice to be able to switch to this app and use horizontal view. Better yet, would be nice to be able to integrate the polls in keynote for iOS.

Absolutely amazing!. This app is amazing. I love making my own presentations and quizzes. With all of the new types of pills and the new competition setting, it is super fun. For people who have played jackbox, it’s like that except there can be WAY more people and everything’s a little different. When I taught the lesson at church on Sunday, I used this and it turned out to be awesome. Everyone in my family likes it. Normal presentations can get pretty boring, but if you throw in a few polls and questions that people can answer on their phones, it makes the learning experience more interactive, fun, and effective.

App does not work properly. Horrible

Can't create an act on app. Well, no obvious way to create an account nor does it have a link to create one on a mobile site. If I wanted to use a browser, WHY GET THE APP? I'd give it a zero star if I could.

Only drawback is it freezes. It’d be an awesome app if it didn’t freeze in the middle of a presentation.

buggy. It keeps taking me to safari then back to the app which then takes me back to safari. Just use the mobile webpage…

Nice but needs copy/paste please!. I love this idea. Trying to use this in conjunction with GroupMe to get quick input from a group of 5 people I work with regularly. The mobile app is fairly useless without the ability to create a poll and quickly cut/paste it into the group chat app. You already show the link you just need to make it able to be copied in iOS.

Sign up BLUNDER. If you miss the initial sign up for Username & Password at the beginning then you can't get in at all cause it no longer prompts to create a UN &/or PW... O_o

Pointless. I am writing this review from the perspective of a teacher who is using wanting to use this almost exclusively for presenting from my iPad. No offense, but unless this app has the same display as the online version or the powerpoint add-in, there is really no point to it. It does not display the text number, the timer, and the clear responses features in presentation mode. If these features were added I would use this app all the time. Safari doesn't do a very good job displaying the Poll Everywhere website so I can hardly use my iPad for that either. Would really use your incredible polling services more often if you made these changes to the app. Thanks!

Great app!. Used in many of my classes. Easy way to track participation and the software is excellent. Surprise me how it’s free!

Terrible Layout. The concept of Poll Everywhere is good, but if we're talking about this app specifically, the layout of it is terrible. It's confusing. I think it would better benefit users if there were sections/folders for each number you answer to. I have use this app for multiple classes and all of my answers are just thrown together on the side bar and its difficult to sort through them.

Overcomplicated. This was the top rated iOS chat app. Wasn’t intuitive to download. Make it easy? Great idea, and there’s not a great competitor! For friends that aren't doing twitter polls, you have a window! Make a product to sell to apple.

Worthless App. There is no way to sign up for the app and you have to log in to do anything. They could have saved their time and money but simply not making an application at all!

Slick tool. Love using this for interactive sessions where you need people to vote or provide feedback using their phones or laptops. It’s also great for training.

Failed me when it counted. I just finished my annual town hall meeting with my staff. Live polling was a new and important part of the presentation. Although it was my first time using Poll Everywhere, I had tested it with various people at least 10 times before the big event to make sure I had it operating. When it came down to my presentation it completely failed to work. The wrong question came up and when I corrected that, no one could respond anyway. Every subsequent polling activity was just dead. It was frustrating and embarrassing. I pressed on with the presentation anyway of course, but I can’t express how disappointed I am with this app. In the end, I was reminded that you must be ready for glitches when software is flakey like this. Beware!

No sign up button. Poorly designed no sign up button definitely unimpressed sorry for one str but I just cant take this anymore this is the last straw I need a poll like yesterday sorry

Don’t bother.. Glitch factory. You never know what you’re going to get - glitches across macOS and Win, Safari, Chrome and I even had to try Edge (gross). It used to work really well... what on earth happened? Totally unreliable, I won’t be risking even the most inconsequential polls on this app any more.

No way to register. Cannot use at all.

Can't do another survey once one is complete. Please fix bug. Once I finish a survey as a participant I can't close the survey. I have to double click home and swipe up to restart.
