Wouldn’t Recommend For Dispersed Camping. Bought the app trying to find dispersed camping spots within the National Forests in WA State. The only ones that show up are rest stops and parking lots on the major highways. Very little information on finding dispersed camping on forest roads which is what I was looking for and no free trial to test it out.

Oh, come on.. This app is the opposite of user friendly. I feel like I’m using a computer from the 1980’s... PLEASE take a look at CamperMate (New Zealand app) and upgrade this app. The filters are annoying, the icons and overall design is blocky and visually confusing. There is no place to view all of your favorites unless they apply under current filters (maybe I’m missing something, in which case, again this isn’t user friendly). At least it has the info needed for my trip, but using the app is a pain. I have high hopes for what this app can become...

Great App for campers travelling around!. Used this app on our round trip at the lower us-east cost. Very helpfull to find campgrounds on our route and got the amenities we were looking for. Saved us a lot of time driving around searching. Users, please keep on adding prices and comments!

Not very good for off road dispersed campsites.. This app is not very good. Free Campsites.net or iOverlander is much better and has more current info. Don’t waste your money.

The best kept secret app for adventurers. Be safe and travel with all necessary supplies. Some of these camps are out in the sticks, a long way from easy contact and sometimes without service. Plan accordingly. Live free.

The only road trip app you need.. This is a good app that is made great by user power. Every time you use a site update it with photos prices and comments to help those following. The Australian WikiCamps App is the only one you need in Australia because so many users update it each day.

Loving this app. I know this app is predominantly for camping but it would be nice if more tourist spots would be included as well, rather than having to drop pins all the time. It is great for keeping record of where you have been and the reviews make travelling so much easier.

Best app for quick referencing of camping spots. There’s a few other apps out there listing and hosting camping spots, but they all have some type of paid feature you have to sign up for. I love Wikicamps as it gives you all you need to find a camp and then make contact direct with management, a good chunk offline too

Essential app for overland travel. Along with another app, iOverlander, WikiCamps is our go-to app for finding places to camp nearly every night. WikiCamps has one big plus over the other app, and that is that you are able to download regions in advance INCLUDING THE MAP LAYER, so that when you inevitably lose cell signal you are still able to use the map to locate your destination. The “other” app allows download of all the data for a region, but without the map, which makes it a little less friendly when you lose service. We use WikiCamps every day and will not hesitate to purchase other country versions when we are finished in US and Canada.
