Great game! Until.... I first started playing Peggle a few months ago and was immediately addicted. I would play this game for hours on end, staying up at night, neglecting all the other apps on my phone. I had gotten so far and was more than halfway through the entire game. (A huge feat since some of the levels are near impossible to win) At this point I was sure I had spent 30+ hours playing this game. But recently, I had opened the app to play the game and it had taken me to the first level. I was confused, closed the app, opened it again, and was still at level one. I left the level to look at the map and all of my past levels that I had worked so hard on said that I had never even played them, let alone won them. I then repeated the process of closing the game with no luck, so I restarted my phone and still nothing. It’s been a while since that happened and I have still been continuously opening the app in hopes that my data would be restored, but I am met with the same sad result every time: level one. I know I sound dramatic, but I am devastated considering the amount of time and effort I have put into this game. I am so disappointed and hope that this fate never occurs to anyone else who plays this once magnificent game.

Most Infuriating Game Ever. Honestly where do I even start. I swear this game is rigged to make you spend money. Once you get to the Kablooey levels the game starts getting more challenging but you can manage. But by the time you reach Batrina it’s clipped. Like levels are ridiculously hard and it’s just not fun anymore. Plus the game will literally reset your progress randomly and there’s nothing you can do about it other then to play the levels again. This happened to me years ago after suffering through hard levels and no matter what I did (restarting the app, refreshing my Facebook account linkage, etc.) I couldn’t get my progress back. And I swear they do this on purpose for the extremely hard levels to increase the levels of frustration and anger that make people spend money and watch ads for power ups. I’ll never spend a penny on this stupid game. I redownloaded Peggle Blast recently because I couldn’t remember why I deleted it in the first place but now I remember. Officially deleting this terrible game for good.

fantastic other than one issue. i absolutely love this game. it’s well designed and it’s challenging, but it’s super fun and i spend all the time on this game. in fact i just finished level 194. i tried to move to 195 and it won’t let me.. 195 is the battle after you finish the world with Fnord. when i click it it says “Not a good idea.. it’d be best to not give Fnord another chance to betray us” and the only button to press says “makes sense” it won’t let me play that level or move past it to the levels after it. i’m slightly mad because i’ve come a long way and i want to finish the game so much. if you could fix this issue and make the level playable that would be fantastic. thank you. your game is great.

This Game Is Rad. I absolutely love this game. It’s a challenge, it’s fun, it’s gorgeous, and addictive. So many games are either stupidly designed or stupidly easy, and this game is neither. People are mad that when you defeat a world it makes you wait five hours, which I don’t think is too ridiculous, but mine glitched somehow and let me move on without waiting. Others are saying that they can’t get past a level without paying, which is flat out false. I’m on level 195, and I’ve never had to pay for a powerful to help me move. Maybe try a new strategy? People are never happy, it’s either too easy or too hard, but I find the challenging aspect of this game is what keeps me playing. I love this game, and people who are saying it’s a cash grab probably just aren’t good. If you’re unimpressed with most games on the App Store, I think you’ll really like this game. And I saw someone saying all these 5 star reviews are paid, but sadly, I am not.

One Thing That Holds This Game Back. See games a lot of times now take either two roads to funding a free app. Advertisements for simply pressing start or restricting content behind a paywall. This game takes a unique approach that holds it back. You have so many lives and if you run out of lives it takes 25 minuets for each life to refill. This means they are putting hour restrictions on when I can play again, when honestly I’d probably do absolutely nothing but play this game all day until I got home to play it on my Xbox. If the developers or bored members are reading this review I would strongly suggest trying some other revenue model for a brief time that allows players to play unrestricted (even if that means only paying players) because they put their customers behind a time wall of how much time they can spend on their product and it forces me to play competing apps.

Fun if you’re not bad. Huge fan of Peggle, have played all their games. The catch with this one is you have lives and it’s their way to make some money, which seems completely fair. Can regenerate lives at a decent speed, so as long as you don’t mess up too much, you can keep playing. Most of the bad reviews seem to be from players that lose a little too much hehe. My only slight complaint is they don’t have the awesome music at the end when hitting the middle slot when finishing but other fun sounds are still there. I do also like the extra game modes that appear, even though those are the games I tend to lose my lives in haha.

Updated: crashes, pay-to-win, constant ads. Another update: still awful, time bombs and challenge levels should be removed, devs should be ashamed. I finally beat complete garbage level 56 only to have it lock up while counting the end-of-level bonus. When restarted I had to do the level again, and 25 tries later, still stuck. There are more levels in this game than all other Peggle games combined, but will I get to play them? I think not. I've been a big Peggle fan and looked forward to the latest version. Instead of buying a game and working through it when I felt like I'm stuck with poorly designed levels that trial-and-error all your "lives" leaving you to wait real time (or pay) to get more lives. But the big issue is the level design. Too many rely on luck of random power-up placement. At the moment I'm stuck at a "challenge" level requiring "long shot"s rather than points/dropping objects and I'm essentially quitting at this point. EA's "modern" microtransaction design on mobile is loathsome. This is the first Peggle game I've neither liked nor finished.

Great game. This game was amazing! I finished all 208 levels as did my husband! Some levels were crazy hard and I had to play many times over in order to beat them. But that's all part of the fun. I see some ppl complaining about levels being hard... that's the point. I didn't spend any money and I was able to complete the entire game in time. I did use fireballs, green pegs, and rainbow balls occasionally, but those were all obtained freely by winning the daily challenges or occasionally watching the short videos in exchange to spin the prize wheel. My husband downloaded the game shortly after I did and was also able to beat entire game without spending any money. You have to really be clever in how you play and persistence is key.

An Insult To Peggle. I recently purchased the original Peggle and let me tell you that is how peggle is supposed to be. Casual cool and all-around fun but this is just a pure and so it's incorporating new age game mechanics that are so annoying like lives! Peggle shouldn't have lives. Peggle is the classic puzzle game that I love and when I first saw this I'm like, YES! An updated peggle game! But I should've noticed it was too good to be true don't give me started on the fireballs and bombs either the fireball completely wipes out and wastes your turn and the bombs, no matter how good of a shot you made you could've got for free balls in one move and clear 90% of the orange pegs and then 💥 literally a bomb goes off and completely ruins your game. The boss battles were a cool concept at first but then they got IMPOSSIBLE. It's like five individual battles and you could be at the last battle and lose and have to start from square one. Honestly if they made a brand-new Peggle with the old mechanics (and some of the old instructors) that will be way better, A 💯 times better than this crap

Nothing like the original. so many glitches!. I downloaded this because I remember playing the original on Xbox years ago and loved it. but once getting the app I realized just how inferior it is to the original game and had to delete it immediately. There are so many glitches that make it completely unplayable, multiple times I’ve beat a level, it gives me all 3 stars and music and everything only for it to say I failed and didn’t hit all the orange pegs. I’ve even taken screenshots of the empty screen where I’ve hit all of the balls and it still says I have orange balls left to hit. Also incredibly frustrating that i have to wait for or buy more lives even though I didn’t lose, the game completely glitched. I couldn’t even get past level 5 because it kept saying I wasn’t hitting all the orange even though I’d hit every ball on the screen. This is definitely the worst glitch in my opinion but there’s so many more to choose from. This game is a waste of time and energy and overall just a scam.

Conflicted opinions. I love Peggle. I remember playing it as a kid. I decided to download it to refresh some good childhood memories. Instead I’m stuck on a level I can’t get past. I think this game is incredibly challenging and becomes too difficult very quickly. I thought this game was made for a younger audience, for example in the beginning levels fnord is constantly referred to as silly and it’s just overall made for a younger audience. I’m not sure if the age you are required to type in adjusts the difficulty of this game. I’m disappointed in how difficult it is to play this game. I’m also disappointed how I can’t earn any of the Peggle coins or whatever they’re called unless I purchase them. I will not spend money on this game. Another few things that really irritate me about this game is I cannot adjust anything in settings or do anything after connecting Facebook. I can never finish the daily activities to spin the wheel because of the issues within the app. The app is almost broken to the point you can’t play. They need to make some major adjustments to the game for it to be functional and fun. Overall super disappointed in where Peggle has gone since when I played it as a kid/teenager.

The game is literally RIGED. Now that these people mention it, this game really is evil I am deleting it. ALSO it is way to hard and this whole game was designed just to make you pay the creators I am stuck on level 75 and every time I start it says BUY THE FIRE RING and I have not spent ENYTHING on this game. The worst part is I think the glitches in this game are actually placed there to make you buy stuff because once I beat a level that was really hard and the music played and everything then it said I failed. Later in the game it happened a bunch more! IMPORTANT NOTE: Most people who submitted 5 star rating were actually PAYED to do so. So don't get this game all it does is generate impossible levels so you spend too much money on a simple game. I used to think this game was cool but thanks to these truthful reviews I now see this game is a SCAM! PLEASE DONT BUY IT IT IS FOR YOUR OWN GOOD! Get the original edition instead because it is actually good. And one more thing, people who are making fun of those of us that rate one star is NOT COOL because if you look at the game whether you admit it or not, most things require to to BUY them which is NOT COOL. I am a nice person but I had to comment about the truth of this. (P.S. I am going to convince my cousin to uninstall in too!) Ok bye! 🙂

The negative reviewers just can't play well. I love this game because it's the only "free" game that requires skill. Yes, you can pay to unlock certain features to help you advance but I've made it a point to never do that with any free game and just keep playing using skill until I'm bored of a game or it's impossible to not pay so I delete it. I'm currently on level 175 without ever having to spend a dime. Yes it gets challenging but if you use logic and don't just mindlessly aim and shoot you will realize there is skill involved once you get past the easy rounds. I love you don't need an Internet connection to play. Graphics are great and characters are really cute. I suggest doing all the daily challenges in order to spin the prize wheel and get boosters that get help during hard challenges and especially during boss battles. Overall this is a great and awesome game that keeps you coming back!

EA, WE NEED TO TALK. (1/3). Peggle Blast. A colorful, seemingly addictive version of Peggle 1. Corny jokes and impressive physics. Graphics and music are done professionally, which is a good thing. You actually have to think about your next move, as this game is actually difficult. If Electronic Arts would have left EVERYTHING ELSE out of what they actually put in, this review would be 5 stars. But it's EA. They can't help themselves. They have to rig the game with IAPs that are next to worthless and sometimes don't even help you. The first 45 or so levels can be beaten in one go. After that, it's exponential. Oh, did I mention that they had the BALLS to put a LIFE SYSTEM in this game? You lose a life whenever you fail to meet the goals of that level, regardless if you get 25 orange pegs. Some of these goals are ridiculous. For example: Level 101: Get 5 Bucket Drops with a random Master. And don't even get me started on those gay egg levels. If an egg falls off, you fail. This has been my DOWNFALL for A F****** YEAR! There's a character limit on these reviews, so I have to cut this review up into parts. That's how bad this game is.

Progress lost. Used to play this game all the time years ago I very recently thought about it and was excited it was available for download. I got myself to level 90, and decided to buy coins for the first time because it was a tough battle. Only spent $2, no big deal. I had some issues and it glitched during the purchase, but I was able to close out, go back in and beat the level, and moved on to play a few more. When I was done, I did the usual close out the game and went about my day. Next time I opened it, I’m back at level 90. Irritated, but my coins were restored so I assumed it was due to the glitch so again I played the level, passed it and played a few more levels. Once again, the next time I opened it, I was back at level 90. Only this time, my coins were still gone. I gave it a couple days thinking it’s an issue they’ll resolve. Beat level 90 again. But then I open the app again later to find I’m back on level 90. No point in playing anymore if I’m not going to actually make progress.

Disappearing orange pegs, major glitches- IPhone Users. I was so excited to download this game because I love Peggle on the Xbox. But for some reason this game is very glitchy. I only achieved to level 8 before I removed the app because I was so frustrated with the glitches. Orange pegs disappeared while I was playing the game. I would win after clearing all of the pegs only to find out I failed the level because only 23/25 pegs cleared. How can I have failed when there were no more orange pegs and the game played the winning sequence with the BLAST of remaining balls? On the extreme slide level, I cleared all of the pegs and the game failed me because I didn’t clear all of the orange pegs. I think this must be an IPhone issue because other family members have androids and they have no issues, but those of us IPhone users are experiencing the same issues with orange pegs not loading. Too bad because this could be really fun, but with the glitches it is unplayable. If it ever is resolved I would give it another shot.

Embarrassing.. This game has been transformed from a simple one-concept game to a complete amalgamation of corporate greed and sorry excuses for engaging gameplay. The 5 life system makes this game virtually unplayable, as it completely eliminates the idea of playing a level a couple of time to iron out a strategy and then performing a series of good attempts. Instead, the player has 5 tried to understand the level, see which route is the most efficient, see what techniques do and don't work, and then complete the level, not accounting for luck or variation. This game simply doesn't work in that format. I would love to see the Peggle from years ago with one simple task: hit the orange pegs. There's no need for boss fights or bombs or oily pegs, and it just makes the game cumbersome and painful to sit through. I'm happy to say that I'll be briskly uninstalling this absolute nightmare of a game and go spend my time doing something that invokes even an infinitesimal more amount of joy than this corporate monstrosity. Goodbye.

Still haven't spent a penny but the good will is gone. ***Update: well I WON the game, and happy to report I didn't spend a penny on it. Too bad, I probably would have paid $20 to buy the whole game because I love the actual game play so much, but because EA was so greedy, they got nothing from me. I made a point of doing so. *** I refuse to give a dime of my money to a company who has stooped so low as EA has to CRIPPLE the game play of one the best games in the App Store, so I am slowly but surely advancing through the levels and stages. Offer a one-time purchase and I would be happy to pay it, but I will not be contributing to the mindset that the freemium extortion model is acceptable. To the 5 star reviewers claiming those of us who have nasty reviews are just whining because we aren't good enough, nope. Even when you win, as I have, the game will then ask you to wait 5 hours to play the next unlocked level...or of course you can ask your friends or pay $$$... no thanks. People caving in and paying or posting this crap all over social media in order to play are contributing to this problem, because it sends a message to companies that this method works. Apparently there are enough people willing to hand over their hard-earned cash for the hopes of advancing faster, and EA is raking it in as a result. It's a brilliant move for EA, whose bottom line is dollars and not good will. Greedy as ever, that is for sure. Not impressed.

Stop Whining It’s Great. Awesome game. Fun. Lots of enjoyment. Reasons below, as well as addressing some of the negative reviews left by other people. 1. It’s a great game that I enjoy, and my 5 year old can enjoy as well. (On the lower easier levels of course) Fun, and gets challenging so it really makes you think. Yes, you have to get lucky sometimes, but that’s part of any game. 2. App developers need to make money. Of course they’re going to put in ways for you to spend money. That being said I just finished getting 3 stars on every level and haven’t spent a dime. I’ll probably buy something now just to support them for making a great game I’ve spent hours playing… they deserve some of my money. 3. I don’t know how much they’ve changed it over the years, but when you beat the game you unlock unlimited lives and don’t need character credits anymore. You can play any character on any level. Also, it was quite obvious that some people who left reviews don’t understand what beating a game is… if you beat the game… there shouldn’t be any more levels past that…

Temporary fix for the level 8 glitch… which proves this game’s biggest flaw. To everyone struggling with the game breaking bug on level 8, do not attempt to extreme slide with your first ball. You have to throw away your first shot, after which it should work properly (and you can still get three stars). Despite the fact that a solution like this exists if you think outside the box, the fact that EA refuses to just fix the level is just further proof that they deserve their fall from grace. I get that Peggle Blast is a smaller game, but there is still a dedicated community of players, and them not even addressing the issue just proves that from the start, they really haven’t shown that they care about their players. I would still play the game despite this, since I’ve had major fun with the levels, but if you’re still reading at this point l encourage you to go full F2P (free to play) despite the challenges and refuse to give any cash to EA.

GLITCHES MAKE IT UNPLAYABLE. Look, I love Peggle. I played the PC version growing up, and I was so hyped to have it on mobile, too. Yeah, it’s not the same as the PC version, but it’s still fun…until you get the glitches. I’ve played this game in full on mobile before and had no issues, but I just redownloaded the app and started completely fresh. Was doing great, having fun, but there were two levels right at the very beginning that wouldn’t count all the orange pegs I hit. One was an arbitrary level where you start by using your first level help with extra green pegs, which was easy enough to get past if I just ignored the urge to get as many orange pegs in one shot. It said to hit 25 orange pegs, and I had several retries where I cleared the entire board but it wouldn’t let me move on because it refused to count all 25 orange pegs that I hit. Again, I got past it by going slower and hitting fewer in one move. Unfortunately, the level where you’re encouraged to do a slide move (the spiral formation) gave me the same issue. No matter how many times I restarted the level and tried to fire to get no slide or as few orange pegs in one move, it would not count all 25 orange pegs I hit. Again, I cleared the board several times, and nothing worked. This ultimately made me delete the app entirely. I couldn’t care less about in-game purchases or whatever else, but good GOD this game is literally unplayable with the glitches. Hopefully they fix this crap.

STUCK AND FRUSTRATED. Okay, 3 stars. If any employees are reading this, you have a chance to change this to 5 stars. I spent like $14 on this game for fireballs and a bunch of other powers to slide past the ridiculous levels. I didn’t start buying power ups until after somewhere in Phoebee’s world. Here’s the thing. I FINALLY made it to level 195 to take a crack at Fnord for the final boss of the game and I can’t access it. Saying it’d be best to not let him betray me again. FORGET THAT, I’ve racked up on rainbow balls I’m ready to BEAT this game. It’s been on my phone for 2 1/2 years just taunting me. So I look online and it talks about secret pegs and crap. 195 levels later and I haven’t hit a single “secret peg”...whatever he heck that is. I love this game, so much emotion was put in to get to 195, I’m ready to finish this. Please tell me how to get passed 195, it’s 2018, surely the game is completed already.

Terrible recreation of a spectacular game. I played Peggle on a PC when I was younger and was overly thrilled that I could find it in a mobile app. I am very disappointed. The level based system is a disgrace to the original game. I understand time changes but the way the levels are designed is pitiful. If you are looking for something close to as fun as the original do not get this app. They developers honestly just tried too hard and are trying to get people to put too much money into it for a game. It’s ridiculous that you can clear the orange pegs on a hard level and still lose due to not getting enough point. Overall I would suggest you take your time elsewhere and avoid this game. I played about 60 levels and just continued to be disappointed. The original was one of my favorite games and this recreation really didn’t hit any orange pegs for me. (If you get it you get it)

LOVE this game, nostalgic and fun.. I played this game as a kid, and was so excited to see it was an app now. I had lots of fun with this game, and finished it in a few weeks. I’m seeing lots of reviews about having to watch ads and having money squeezed out of them. I didn’t have that experience at all! I was ABLE to watch an add for an extra ball, but the game never had pop ups and I didn’t need to buy any powerups or anything to finish the game in a timely manner; I still had some powerups left over that the game just gave me at the beginning. No money spent, lots of fun had. I even went back through to get 3 stars on every level! LOVE. Love this game and I really hope we get some more of Peggle. Shoutout to Kablooey and Buddy for their dope special moves.

It’s so annoying. Listen so I used to play peggle classic years ago on my iPad. Then once he got taken off the App Store which I was super sad about because it was literally my favorite game I decided to download Peggle Blast because why not you know. The second I started playing the game I was super disappointed. I know that the original Peggle is super old but this game had extremely bright colors and flashy stuff all over the place I already knew it wasn’t going to be that good. The fact that you literally need to pay for everything is super sad. In Peggle the only thing you could pay for was Peggle nights and that was totally worth it. The fact that EA is so greedy to the point where they destroy what are used to be a good game is disappointing. About two years ago I started to play peggle classic on my Xbox. Which is still a lot of fun don’t get me wrong but it was something about playing on my iPad that was so much fun and nostalgic for me. I think that it would be awesome if peggle classic would come back and maybe they added a cool login with Microsoft feature or something like that so that you could have your save progress. Overall I’m very disappointed in EA and I wish the game would go back to how it was.

Battleship, Peggle Classic and other games.. Why has the developer of the wonderful games not updating them? When the new update for my new apple iPad came out, I lost 6 of my favorite games. Some of these were not free, and I’ve had them ever since they were released. I really wish that the developers of the games would fix them. I cant understand why they keep fixing Peggle Blast, but not classic Peggle noe Collapse Crunch and the other really fun games that don’t include blowing things up or waging war on something or someone even ir they are not real. Will someone please answer these questions with a real answer and not some standard form letter. I truly wish the developers of these classic games would update and bring back the origin level Peggle. It was truly family friendly and lots of fun.

Ugh. Really enjoyed this game at first, but now I can't stand it. I've probably played give or take 100 hours of classic Peggle, and this game is an INSULT. It looks good, plays smooth, and controls are beautiful, but the meat of the game is corrupted with greed. It's been specially designed by evil, greedy people to make you spend money. I have been stuck on level 51 for 4 days now. Every time I lose, there is always ONE PEG LEFT. It's DESIGNED so that you wouldn't have enough plays, unless you are bestowed a miracle and have something really lucky happen. And then they insult you further by making the IAPs have zero value. Fail a mission? You have to spend $2 on three balls that only get used in that level and session. Power ups that can be used in any level are incredibly pricey and one-time use. There are only five lives, and when they're gone, you get to sit there and wait hours until you get five more, unless you spend money. I just finished losing to one single peg on my last life, and it was hard to resist the urge to spend $2 to get the level over with. Then I realized, it's designed to be pay to win, and takes advantage of people who are desperate to play more of the game. Well you know what? No. I'm deleting this. I won't succumb to your greed.

I wish I could rate -5 stars. Literally the worst game I've ever downloaded. First of all it's rigged, half the time when you play it'll only put 24 pegs on the board which makes the level literally impossible no matter what you do. And on top of that, most of the levels are made with stupid elements that aren't even fun and are near impossible to beat without paying money. It's really just one huge cash grab. The outdated "life" function makes this game unplayable unless you delete it and redownload it a bunch of times. It usually saved my progress which is cool, but now after deleting it all of my progress is completely gone. So I'm never coming back to this trash. It's an absolutely pathetic attempt to get money out of you. Don't even bother starting to play, you'll regret it. If I could I'd give it negative 5 stars. I hope these creators never earn a penny of this garbage.

Too many adds. I loved peggle classic so I was excited to see a new version finally available. Unfortunately EA has killed this title just like they did with plants vs zombies. Although fun and full of new features, the game is so blatantly full of advertising and forced payment that it ruins the fun. At the end of every level, win or lose a huge add pops up. Half the time you click on it because you expected to click the next button. You only get 5 "lives" and if you use them all, no more playing unless you wait or pay. They added boosts, but you have to pay for them and in some cases the levels are so hard you are almost forced to get boosts at which point they are trivial. Finally, when you complete one of the worlds, unless you pay $$, you will be forced to wait for 6 hours before you continue. Its sad that a great fun game has been commercialized so much its now almost unplayable. Id rather pay my $15 and be done with it.

I love this game!!. I just finished the entire game and came to the app store to see if there was a Peggle 2 (sadly there’s not) but I was surprised to see so many negative reviews. Yes, some levels are frustrating and super hard to beat and take many days and dozens of lives to beat but it is so worth it when you beat them!! I didn’t spend any money on this app, I often watched the ads to get extra lives which was super helpful when you have one or two pegs left! (I’m also not being paid to write a review for those who are saying the only 5 stars are fake lol) I loveee this game and I don’t know what I’m gonna do now that I finished it. Please consider making a Peggle 2!

Way too hard and designed to make you spend money. This game will make you angry. The original Peggle games are just challenging enough that it’s still fun, especially because you’re able to try as much as you need. The levels in the app can be fun, don’t get me wrong. But as the game progresses it gets ridiculously hard. Like several bombs that you have to destroy within 5 tries, eggs that can’t fall or you lose, freaking gnomes 🙄 there’s so many levels that can only be won with pure luck imo. I’ve tried some levels countless times and have to wait because I’ll run out of lives and have to wait for more. They want you to buy the power ups and more balls so you can get past the really hard levels. I think it’s pretty ridiculous, they should just make the game cost a little bit from the get go if that’s how it’s gonna be. Anyway, download at your own risk because this game is frustrating and will make you angry. I’m only on level 64 and am considering deleting. Replaying a level 10+ times really gets old.

Dissatisfied. I’m a HUGE fan of the classic peggle. My college GPA suffered a whole point due to a peggle addiction. With such a compelling formula, I can’t understand why EA would sully it so. There are peggle fans who would pay $100 for a classic version and then incremental amounts for additional level packages. I know I would. I don’t play any games anymore but was feeling nostalgic, so I downloaded peggle blast. I agree with the other reviews that suggest the additional obstacles and limited lives not only take out the joy and satisfaction, they also goes so far as to make it a stressful, frustrating experience. About the only positive side effect is that I refuse to pay for lives and boosts on principle, which means I eventually run out of lives and can’t play for hours at a time like I used to. If I’m searching for something positive to say, I do like how the aiming works in this version.

Ads. So I remember when the OG Peggle came out and I loved it. It was fun and enjoyable. This game has a lot of potential of being like that except for one problem. The amount of ads. I kid you not when I say that I spent about three minutes on a level before I ran out of lives (also, why are there lives) and in those three minutes, I probably had to sit through about 15-20 ads. Literally every button I hit except to aim and fire the ball first had me watch an ad. Why? Another thing I feel like should be a thing was that in the OG peggle, you could choose your hero but in this version, I am stuck with the hero that the level in on. There have been so many shots that where I needed the unicorns power but I am stuck with the chipmunk power. I don’t like that. Other than those two things, the game is amazing, the graphics are good, and I am assuming that as usual, the music is terrific. So in total, the ads lose this rating two stars, the hero select loses you another star but the graphics, story, and music gain you one star.

So close to five stars!. Okay, so I’ll start off by saying that this is one of the most fun & addicting apps I’ve played! The different characters are the same as in the original & there are lots of different, cool concepts; HOWEVER, there are so many bugs that this app has caused my phone to crash dozens of times. It freezes, shoots the ball without me touching anything, & kicks me out of the app, only to leave me with a screen that no longer responds to touch, unless I restart my phone. I didn’t realize it was the app until I had updated & fixed everything & my phone was still acting up, at which point I deleted Peggle & had immediately better results. If these bugs were fixed, this game would be, in my opinion, the number one game in the App Store!

THIS is why you’re so HATED, EA.. And EA strikes again with this soul-crushing load of filth. Oooh boy, where to begin.. First of all, the original PopCap’s Peggle was LIGHT YEARS better than this one. Why? Oh, I’ll tell ya. Because, like I said, it was made by POPCAP and NOT YOU. I loved the original.. I played it all the time on my grandma’s computer when I was little. But where is it now? GONE. KAPUT. EVISCERATED. And I know why; You KILLED IT just so that people would have to resort to THIS… THIS SHAMELESS, UNINSPIRED, FRUSTRATING CASHGRAB. This is a SCAM, that’s what it is. Most of the later levels are made to be straight-up IMPOSSIBLE so that people will have to spend their hard-earned cash on extra balls. And DEAR GOD, THE ADS. There’s an ad placed at every possible opportunity. All your company does, EA, is take an actually enjoyable game and toss it in a dumpster, light said dumpster on fire, and tape a money vacuum to it. People should see the name Electronic Arts and KNOW not to download this. Your company name is a title of shame and you wear it like a BADGE like you don’t even KNOW what you’re doing wrong, which shouldn’t even be possible, considering it’s OBVIOUS. EVERYONE HATES YOU, EA, AND YOU CAN JUST LOOK AT EVERYTHING YOU’VE DONE AND KNOW WHY. I HATE YOU, EA, AND I’M PRETTY SURE THAT ANY REASONABLE PERSON WOULD HATE YOU. Please, for the sake of everyone’s bank accounts.. GO. OUT. OF. BUSINESS. That way you’ll actually be doing what’s right for once.

Waste of time, unless you enjoy watching ads.. When you first start playing Peggle Blast it will seem like lots of fun, until you become bombarded with a plethora of ads. Peggle Blast becomes one huge advertisement instead of an entertaining game, it appears to be one long commercial rather than an arcade app. Extremely disappointed with the amount of time the ads in this game have taken from my life, and that is time that I can never get back. I will no longer be playing Peggle Blast and if you have nothing better to do with your life than watch advertisements than be my guest and enjoy watching the commercials and advertisements 99% of the time and playing the other 1%. All I have left to say to the creators of this game is, do better. You have damaged the overall reputation of the company and brand. You have also made me extremely cautious to ever returning to playing any of the creators apps or content. IF I COULD HAVE A HALF A STAR, I WOULD. IN FACT I WOULD GIVE LESS THAN A 1/4 OF A STAR BUT UNFORTUNATELY I CANNOT.

I wish I could rate zero stars. I owned the original Peggle Classic which was one of the best games built for the first gen Ipads. Peggle classic is no longer supported or available in the App Store even though I paid for it years ago. This game is a disgrace to all gamers and game manufacturers. EA should be ashamed of this product. After a couple days of play I am deleting it from my IPad. There are so many adds it’s unbearable. Waiting for extra lives on a countdown timer when I bought the original game previously is a slap in the face. Remove the pay to play money grab junk and this game is beautifully coded and produced. Clearly EA has shareholders to answer to, but pay to play IPad games isn’t the answer. Forget the free download and charge me 9.99 to purchase this game like an adult. I can’t believe EA ruined Peggle. It was perfect the way it was. This is more of a rant than a review but it doesn’t matter. EA production teams clearly don’t care about customer feedback.

Horrible developers and money trap!!. On some of the levels, the game doesn’t register when you’ve done what it takes to win the level. Level 184: you have to make long shots from one side of the screen all the way to the other. I’ve made many long shots but only a few have registered, causing me to lose all my lives many, many times from playing that level over and over again. They’re trying to force you to spend money on many of the levels by making them nearly impossible. It’s absolutely ridiculous to spend a week trying to pass one level. As I’ve read from a few players, it takes a long time to win this game. I’m not the only one who feels this way. I’ve read others complaints that they’re making levels harder than they need to be, trying to force people to spend money. A challenge is one thing. Rigging your game to cheat people out of wins over and over again is bad business. The game is fun and easy at the beginning, but don’t get hooked on the game because it cheats and quite a few levels you’ll spend weeks trying to win. And customer service? It’s non existent. Another reason to not spend money. There’s literally no customer service. Thought I found it online. When I emailed, I never heard back. It’s been months. If you used to play Peggle long ago and thought it was awesome, you’re right, it was. Peggle now has different developers and the new developers should find another profession because they don’t belong in the gaming business.

Yet another good game tarnished by greed. The game itself is quite fun and feels like a proper Peggle game. However, it is very clearly designed to rope you in and then squeeze money out of you. In the beginning, the only real issue is that you only have 5 lives which regenerate after a certain time period. For the most part this is fine, although it can be a little aggravating when it comes to levels that involve a lot of luck and/or random elements. Other than that, the microtransactions don’t feel too forced and you only have to watch ads if you want to earn extra power ups or lives. However, at around level 45, this suddenly changes. I sincerely hope this is a bug, but after *every single level*, you have to watch an ad. If you fail, you still have to watch an ad. Sometimes if you cancel instead of retrying, you get another ad. And in further levels, you sometimes get ads when *starting* levels. It’s ridiculous. And they don’t even offer a one-time payment to get rid of the ads?? I would gladly pay $5 to get rid of the ads as it is an otherwise fun game, but I just can’t keep playing at this point because the stereotypical low-effort mobile game ads are way too frequent. I’m so tired of seeing good games be ruined by corporate greed, so please do not spend a single cent on this game.

Fun but rigged to take money. So I got thru all 199 levels in a few days without spending a dime. How? Easy trick for unlimited lives. But in doing so I Could see what a rip off this game truly is. Physics and trajectories change according to what’s gonna be least beneficial to u. For example the pegs with oil don’t slide if there is like a sun nearby that will kill ur ball. Bucket slows and speeds up. So does the ball. The rate at which the hit pegs disappear changes. They will stay longer if u might get a bucket drop or disappear faster if it will dead the ball. Long shot challenges and what not. Well some shots that should be long don’t register. If ur about to make a good shot and tap the screen it’ll just do nothing. All types of madness. Well screw u EA y’all ain’t get a dime for me and if anybody wants the free lives trick well I got ya. For real I wish u could sue ppl for rigging stuff like this. It’s bad. Takes the fun away. Oh and the last level. Last battle. Good luck. You’ll never win the coin toss and Bjorn has the shot set up every time that clears everything so u lose. Of course my unlimited lives trick also allows me to not have to start those battles over if I fail

Good foundation with terrible execution.. I’m not going to say a lot that hasn’t been said before. The mindless microtransactions are annoying but I found a way around by closing and reopening the app whenever you are about to lose a life. I’m writing this review because of the amount of notifications I’ve received from not playing the game. Yesterday, I got 20 total notifications from the game say the same thing about Peggle Masters. They were clumped together as maybe 5 would come in the same minute. It’s not right in any way to have this many notifications for a game that’s just telling you to get on for Peggle Masters. I’d understand for life regeneration, but not just needlessly reminding you to play the game. It’s a great game, though most of the later levels rely on the luck of where the orange pegs are placed. There’s skill to it too, but I think luck overweight it there.

Cashgrab. I used to play Peggle way back in the day, and I ADORED it. I literally spent hours perfecting my levels and stars. This imposter is an annoying cashgrab. It isn’t about skill, either. Some later levels are made to where they are almost impossible to win without spending some kind of money. Not to mention, it CONSTANTLY glitches. When I spin my daily prize wheel, and I get a good prize, suddenly I can’t “collect” it and I have to close my app. POOF, gone! Or there are levels where the green/purple pegs replace orange pegs, and after that point the level is *literally* impossible to win because you don’t have enough orange pegs to beat the level. It’s almost criminal what EA has done to this beloved game. I would gladly pay $5-10 for the Peggle I knew and loved, but I refuse to spend a dime on this one. I gave it a couple days to see if I’d change my mind but no, I’ve decided I’m uninstalling it. You might as well not even bother.

I will forever despise EA for ruining a classic. PopCap hit an absolute grand slam with the original Peggle. It’s one of my favorite games of al time, and it only cost me a dollar! As a highly replayable and mechanically sharp game, it easily kept me entertained for 50+ hours while giving me HUGE bang for my (literal) buck. I would have gladly paid $5 or more for it— unfortunately now I can’t play it at all. It’s been removed from the App Store to make way for the soulless, greedy cash cow that is Peggle Blast. This game embodies everything that I hate about the mobile games industry. The design is absolutely insidious, with cutesy graphics, a fun introduction, addicting and fair challenges— then suddenly they start systematically robbing you of hard-earned and well-deserved victories. The frustration comes from a series of increasingly infuriating cheap shots, like bombs that literally blow up your whole carefully laid plan out of nowhere. Peggle has always had an element of luck to it, and that was part of the fun. Now the cards are stacked against you, designed to milk a few more bucks out of the struggling masses for a temporary power up or a few extra attempts at clearing the board. Don’t give in, and if you are susceptible to impulsive decisions then don’t download Peggle blast. Vote with your wallet by keeping EA out of it— and believe me they are constantly grabbing for it in this depressing shadow of a once great game.

Thought it was rigged but maybe it’s not. At one point or another I did spend money on this game begrudgingly. However since then I have beaten the game. Since beating the game i’ve gone back and am trying to get 3 stars on every level as well as finding ever secret peg (as of now I believe there are 6 levels i’ve not 3 stared) In my initial play through i was sure the game was rigged as some levels seemed impossible to beat without spending money or getting incredibly lucky, however, since replaying i’ve yet to find a level I can’t at minimum beat at atleast its most basic level. I believe that the time i’ve put into this has given me skills that have improved my game play. Overall it’s a jerk move and kinda a disgrace to peggle adding all of these IAP... but the game is still fun and beatable without spending money.

Copies from clipboard without authorization. I've noticed that the app will paste from the clipboard on launch and without authorization. You'll get the iOS notification saying Peggle pasted from (whatever app you last copied from). I don't know why this is but given the app's other money-grabs I can't imagine it's an honest mistake. I uninstalled this game for that reason, and you should too. I hope Apple notices this issue and removes this app from the store until the issue is fixed as well. This is a great game ruined by the microtransactions shoehorned in to the game. They're absolutely a huge issue that destroys an otherwise fun game, especially when you add in the ads that take over after you fail a level (and the ads always seem to be those balding guy ads that were banned for being misleading). Doubly so when considering that there's no option to just pay once to remove all the ads and life limits and such. It's a fantastic game that you can play in those spare few minutes, but is ruined by MTX.

Peggle blast. In the past 60 days i have completed the game twice. Honest opinion i love the game its very fun and addictive. But there are some things to be mentioned. 1st off the peggs do not always melt/disappear at the same time ,sometimes it takes 2 secs or sometimes 5 and that could lead you to believe the game is more about chance than skill sometimes. 2nd and most annoying, during the boss battle aka fnord I could be wrong but i feel it’s completely uncalled for to have 25% of your score taken. Perfect example i have 100k points boss/fnord had 76k …clearly one sided. I miss the last red pegg and just like that was dropped down to 75k therefore i lose and must play all 3 boss battles all over again. But other than that its a great game and id definitely recommend it. I might even play it a 3rd time in the future . Solid 4 stars.

You’ve ruined the franchise. Ok I’m going to be honest to you about this game. No just no. The difficulty scaling through the levels is absurd I only played for a little bit and hated it, the original was a fun enjoyable experience but this was is just a cash grab. I played one of the beginning levels and completed it but it didn’t save it so I had to do it again and again 3 more times till it let me complete it. Why would I bother playing this game, if your going to want people to play this game fix these mistakes add the replay, I loved showing my sister my cool shots and it not being in this game makes the cool shots feel bad because no one else can see them, also fix the physics the ball goes wherever it wants to it never goes where I’m aiming. Honestly this Peggle game was ruined the franchise. Also am I the only one who goes to Olive Garden mostly because you can play Peggle on the little tablet? Final note I haven’t fully finished the original but I’m just saying. WHY DOES THE UNICORN HAVE AN EMO BROTHER!?

It's not worth the anger. They make this certain level so hard and impossible that it's not worth to play. They think it's "fun" to play a game that you have to beat three levels that every ball counts and if the game throws the ball wrong you start form scratch but not only one but three levels. So does it sound like you want to play this or just move onto angry bird cause at least you accomplish something. Same level for months and I'm ready to delete the app again cause these Moran gamers can't put a challenge out there, they have to make it impossible thinking they made an awesome game. This game is nothing like the other peggle and just steals the stupid bomb and you can't play but wait for worthless life's from candy crush. Don't waste your time and peggle hire the gamers that made original peggle cause it's a shame I can't play peggle without wanting to break my phone. Are people seriously saying you aren't good enough if you are complaining wow must have a lot of time to sit around wasting time on this game. Than to insult others cause they want to play a relaxed game like peggle was meant to be! Shows who you are. Play original peggle, whatever this game is should be called something else. Like waste of time

Level 81 is too hard and shuffle gives me migraines. I deleted the app over level 81. I’ve genuinely never been more infuriated with any level of a game before in my life; I kept losing the level on the first turn because it’s nearly impossible to complete the level without dropping one of the eggs and losing the entire level because of it. The only way to complete the level is by getting astronomically lucky and having any eggs that do fall land in the bucket, which is nearly impossible to time properly and thus can only be based in luck rather than skill. This level was kind of the last straw, though, since I had also had issues with the rapidly-shaking shuffle effect on some levels giving me headaches, eye strain, and motion sickness. I could generally get around this by closing my eyes but sometimes I would forget to do that and end up feeling sick because of it. There’s absolutely no option to minimize motion and this is, I think, a major accessibility issue in the app. The only reason I’m not giving the app one star is because I did honestly have fun playing it, for the most part; I just wish the level design for 81 wasn’t so terrible and there was a motion reduction option in-game.

Fun, addicting, challenging. Some of these reviews make me laugh. I can't believe some people give this game one star simply because they aren't skilled enough to figure it out. This is a fun game that definitely has some challenging levels. I never had to spend money on this game, it simply requires patience. I have beat the game with three stars on every level and sometimes you have gather more advanced characters before you can go back and three star some earlier levels. The key is understanding the powers each character had and using them to your advantage based off of each layout you may be stuck on. You have to reach a certain point in the game before you can choose the character you want to play as. I'll admit there are some levels that are frustrating and required me to put my phone down for a while. I only wish they would update this game with new levels, I miss playing it!

Surprise surprise. As a veteran Peggler from the days on Xbox, this game is filthy and another blatant money grab from EA (surprise surprise) gone are the days of skilful shots and big scores. Now replaced with bombs, sludge and ice bricks that make it almost impossible to clear a level without shilling out money for a power up that makes the aforementioned level a cake walk, again paying for “pride and accomplishment”. What a shame, for Peggle was one of the great puzzle games of our generation. Sadly Bjorn too has lost his way to filling his investors pockets with dollars instead of rainbows and joy.

Games pathetic. Games got a glitch, been stuck on one level for ages and when finally shot all the blocks it still said there was one left when their wasn’t. Is the support team going to fix this or update the game? Because at the moment it’s a pathetic excuse for the support team

So addictive. This game is so fun, I just completed all 208 levels and wish there were more 😢 but it was sooo fun to play 🎉

#bringbackoriginalpeggle. I use to play the original peggle on my ipod and computer, it crossed my mind the other day so i decided to download it. I was hoping to feel the same nostalgic memories from countless hours played, skill shots and big scores. But no, this game is trash compared to the original and peggle nights. Lives? Is that a joke hahah its funny how the tried to recreate a classic but horribly failed, bring back the original peggle, im not putting any money into this at all, i would rather pay to download the original peggle.

Paywall hits early - too money hungry. Get rid of all these freemium games, charge a few bucks and make the game not Pay Wall supported, I’m not going to pay $100’s just play a game on my iPad in my down time. Charge $4.99 and be done with it. All I ever do with Freemium games is hit the pay wall and then delete them anyway, I hit the Pay Wall in about 3 hours with this game.

Lost progress. I can’t take losing my progress every time I play. I used to like the original Peggle and I was enjoying this one even if it did seem like a downgrade on graphics, but every time I log on my progress is lost, sometimes back 5+ levels. I was just playing and I left the app to answer a message and when I went straight back in all of the progress I’d made this morning was gone. Over it

Not enjoying the game. I played the original version many years ago and the game play was so much more fun. Levels now seem to be designed to need to spend money to buy the boosters in order to be able to progress. Prefer to pay a small amount for the game and play a good number of levels without having to invest ongoing money to just progress levels. Game now deleted of my phone.

Not what it used to be. How can the goal objectives of a level be to clear 25 orange pegs (for example) but only 21 are loaded? Or when you clear 25 pegs and it only picks up 6 pegs ? Impossible to move on to the next level and have tried to replay the level but have the same issue. Waste of time playing this game.

Alright. It’s a good game but it needs to be optimised for iPhone X. It’s so frustrating to be playing and not finish a level only because you can’t see the last peg you need because the game resolution is screwed.

Built to fail you to purchase. Game levels designed for more sheer luck and rubbish plays with needing to use paid abilities to be able to complete levels, random character rabbit later on isn’t even randomised, when you have to replay the “chance” to get a character when you realised it’s rigged anyway ( cycling through like its random but always picking the same one ) Initial nostalgia followed by chance dependant levels

Orange counter broken. So much potential but needs some updates. The orange counter is broken. You’ll complete a level and fail because it says you haven’t hit all the orange when you have. So frustrating.

Buggy as heck. Maybe it’s intentional to get users to spend, but even when you clear all the orange pegs (the aim of each level), it doesn’t register that they have gone so it tells you that you have failed and this you lose a life. Lives eventually cost $$. Essentially, this is a scam. I miss the good old days of Peggle 😭

Typical free to play... Sadly. I've bought peggle games before and enjoyed them. This one was fun for a while, then after level 59 it become a frustrating grind as luck becomes the main route to victory unless you want to pay for bonuses. A shame because another properly balanced Peggle game would be well worth paying for.

Nearly impossible. About four years ago, I was an avid player of this game. Until I reached a level that took me over TWO YEARS to beat. The next level took another year, and the one I’m on now seems just as bad. I can’t do anything anymore, I hate the lives thing, and constantly it says ‘10 more coins for more turns!’ Or ‘buy a fireball to get hard to reach pegs!’ I am 56 levels in and it is so, so frustrating.

Needs updating. The game needs updating, if you watch a video to get rewards on the game, it will restart after the video is finished and you don’t get the reward?

Updates. Can you make some more levels please?

Great game ruined by Corp greed. I loved Peggle. Was overjoyed to see it on mobile again. I was enjoying it until about level 30 or so when it the game decided it was time to start SHOWING AN AD AFTER EVERY LEVEL. This is ridiculous. I would gladly pay up to $10 to remove ads. But they don’t have that option. Instead I will remove the game.

Getting ripped off!. I have passed Level 208 twice and my win doesn’t show up or let me go to the next level. Level 208 was really hard and I had to pay for special powers to get through. I’m now thinking it’s a scam. I have now deleted the app completely. The ratings and complaints aren’t read or responded to! Terrible!,

Missing the mark. Needs to be updated for 10s phones. Also I feel they dropped the ball. Get it. I wouldn’t All they had to do was make Peggle the same as the one on the computer and it’s not. Bit of a let down

Pegs don’t even register. On some levels orange pegs don’t register, causing you to restart until the only option to continue playing is to buy more lives, surprise surprise, shame OG Xbox player , this is a disappointment

Trash. This game is terrible 😞. It is so bad I can’t get past level 8 as the game glitches and you don’t get the pegs you have hit but they still disappear. If you could let me know when you have fixed this it would be great 👍.

Glitch. There’s a glitch where when I complete levels then go off the app, the complete levels go away and i have to start again. Please fix immediately

I need to report a problem. Hello, There’s a problem with the game. I’m on level 45 right, and the goal is to hit 25 orange pegs. Perfectly reasonable. My problem is, there aren’t 25 orange pegs. Also it has “free ball” written across the bottom of the screen at all times. Pls fix thk u

Peggle is back! 🙀. I loved the previous Peggle games I completed the original Peggle and it's Peggle Nights DLC and I almost completed Peggle 2, now we got a new Peggle game! However, this one is probably my least favourite one. It's like Bubble Mania. Fun, but get Peggle Classic it's SO WORTH IT!

Disgusting. As per usual, EA Games has continued its in-App purchase, advertisement driven saga by stealing an original game and turning into absolute garbage. Every game that EA have ever stolen is just another game on its "don't care as long as it makes money" list. Why can't they make the games they steal as good as their own games? Why don't they stop stealing games that are good and making them garbage? I'm sick of seeing the same candy crush style games that are literally so boring and almost impossible to finish without purchasing in-app purchases. Poor, boo, yuck!

Designed to prey on people prone to spending.. Fun enough at first, but eventually the game gets so ridiculously hard that you either have to play each level hundreds of times and wait until you get lucky or you can pay for items to make it easier. Disgusting design. You should be ashamed of yourselves.

Broke. Game. Don’t bother.. The game is broken. It’d be amazing and nostalgic if it were playable but alas, the developers clearly don’t care. Level 8 is designed to be beaten in one go but the mechanic that counts the amount of pegs you have to collect doesn’t work so you end up stuck with an empty board and no way forward. Terrible game. Don’t bother with it.

Deleted my progress. This game was great until one day it decided to delete all of my progress. It was especially nice considering I had JUST spent 10 dollars on the game the same day it did this. I think the cherry on top was how useless the resources were that tried to ‘help’ and get my account back.

NO MUSIC NO SOUND LOST EVERYTHING. Was playing peggle blast on my iPhone6. Received iPhoneX, loaded the game app... all of my progress (including a lot of purchases) is gone. Of course I logged in. Deleted & reinstalled the app more than once. I can log in, however ALL of my content was gone. Lost! ALSO, the sound completely cuts out after 3 or 4 seconds so your only option is to play in complete silence. Terrible. The WORST thing about it all is when I contacted EA GAMES, they never responded let alone assisted in any way. Just crappy and so disappointing 🙁

Fun but ultimately disappointing. A great time waster during meetings, or on the loo (avoiding meetings), but ends up being a pay-to-win by the time you reach any difficult levels. Additionally my game would reset its progress every so often, so I’d be left losing 200+ levels with no chance of recovering them. Great fun, but very disappointing.

Pay to reach next level. I really like peggle and I would spend money for the app itself. But I will not spend money for some coins which help me to survive the next 20 levels only. Especially as the levels are designed to be won only with „weapons“ which need to be bought with coins. Sorry.

Amazing. Usually with games I have something to complain about but this one I don’t this game is absolutely amazing you know with other games they got those boost things and then they make you use them and you don’t get it back so you can use it when you want well with Peggle blast it give’s you back the boost and it is really good quality no glitches and not many adds it is easy for starters and as you go up levels it gets more challenging so you don’t get board and it is somehow very addictive I recommend this game to anyone who is wanting this game sty beautiful

Pay to Win. Back in the day Peggle was so enjoyable and satisfying to play. Now it’s just full of Pay to Win levels. It takes me days to pass a level but oh so lucky for us, we can buy boosters or play on credits for $9.99. EYE ROLL. I’d understand if the developers wanted profits but charge a $2.99 fee to download or something, don’t exploit the users. I will definitely be deleting the app.

Addictive. A swirl of candy crush, pinball, and angry birds, Peggle Blast is addictive as it is charming. There lies the perfect foundation for a game executed exquisitely for a personal device screen. My favourite aspect is the music and sound effects, making it a beautiful interaction - every time. I did bail out and purchase when needed which in the end I saw as an investment and equated to about $25. Worth it. Note: there are tricks to avoid payment and to keep playing. Had this not been the case I would've spent $100. The problem with the game is the business model. The first three levels should be free, with the user paying a fee to play the rest - with perhaps limited strategic in-app purchases in the paid access level) The characters are cute (Turtle's my favourite) and their powers vary in effectivity, but all are fun. In here lies its charm, in combination with the music. They've mastered the balance of quality illustration and blended with the UX. The UX is classy, and just made me want to play more. Silly but cute speech bubbles. I'd like to see them graduate to include more visual/video storytelling after you complete a world, and more surprises with the menu (I really wanted those gates to open and for their to be more visual reward once I got to the end!). All around, very entertaining.

PLEASE MAKE MORE LEVELS!!. Me and my husband play it all the time and like to race each other through the levels!! This can't be the end!! It's too much fun!!

Fun game butttttt. Lives take too long to reload and atm there is a problem with sending lives on Facebook to friends and completing that challenge. Maybe an update soon to fix this please

Fun but typical pay to play. I love peggle it's a fun way to shut off, but this is such a crappy version of the game... It relies on pure luck after awhile... Unless of course you want to pay. I would of happily payed $15 to just have the game... Screw micro transactions... Don't bother downloading

Utterly addictive. Love the game, Can you please release an update for perhaps the screen size option soon... got a new xs and the game doesn’t change so pegs were left off screen and I had no way of getting them ☹️ Top notch otherwise!

Don’t bother downloading. There’s an error on level 8: spiral slide. Not matter what you do the orange peggle count will never be enough and so you can’t win the level. So you’re effectively stuck. Even if you get all the orange peggles. There’s clearly a bug that they haven’t bothered to fix in years, if the problem posts I found via google are anything to go by.

Yuck. I love peggle. From the iPod click wheel version, through to Peggle and Peggle Nights (which I played through on at least 3 different platforms), I really love peggle. It's charming, beautifully designed and very challenging in a way that never feels cheap or unfair. With skill and care, every stage is aceable. This is not that game. It lacks any of the charm of real peggle. It looks and sounds like a 2002 era newgrounds flash game. Most of the challenge comes from poor or cheap level design, perhaps intentionally (to effectively paywall later levels behind paid power ups). Just get peggle classic which is still available, don't waste your time (or iap money) on this hate crime against peggle's legacy.

Disappointed. Used to love this game and even purchased it when it used to be on the app store as a payed app. Now if you lose your 5 lives you have to wait to play again or purchase them with irl money. This is a joke. What happened to paying for the game and being able to play it without waiting or paying a dumb amount of money to continue playing with more lives. And also was a refund given to all those people that purchased the original app, Or was it just taken away with our money?

Ground hog day. I’m done with the game, it doesn’t matter how far I get in the stages, next thing I know it’s brought me back to level 50 to start again. Yesterday I got it to level 63 after playing for an hour, only to start back at 50 the next time I opened it. Definitely worth a one star. Not the game I remembered

Fake update just to reset reviews. The original peggle was a great game destroyed by the greedy trash app developer EA. No new levels or additions to this money grabber for years. Dont waste your time or money. If you want to giv3 away you money and get nothing of value for it, give it to charity

Bring Back Peggle. Peggle is a great game, until you deleted the original and changed it to this! I love the nostalgia of pc original Peggle and the first mobile version of the game was amazing. This version is ok it’s just a huge change of a game that honestly didn’t need fixing. I wish you would’ve kept the original app that cost money and then brought out this adaptation as well. RIP :(

No new levels ever. Would give five star if you added new levels I completed this game over a year ago I have been unable to play since

Doesn’t beat the original. Loved the original game I use to play all those years ago. Found this version is a lot about luck and less about trick shots and puzzle solving. Been stuck on a level for a while, sick of waiting for my lives to refill, I am now bored. Thanks for trying anyway.

It was better back in the day. Title says all, adds after every level which are quite frustrating in the early levels starting at level 10

Absolutly great. Really fun game. I don't know why people complain so much about the increasing difficulty. I finished the whole game in 2 weeks without making any micro purchases. Highly recommend it. A+++

Death by ads. An ad at basically every level; whether you pass or fail is irrelevant. The levels get too difficult too quickly and leave you relying on paid power-ups. This game feels very money-hungry. Nowhere near as great as the original.

Gg ez. Finished it not hard dont need to pay for things just get good

Peggle blast. Hi! I play the classic on Xbox and have been playing this game for over a year now, and still enjoy it. The thing is, you have 5 lives, you know, where if you lose a level you lose a life and then it takes nearly half an hour to get one back! This is not something we had to endure in classic version, and is certainly not an enjoyable addition to the game. One other thing I would like to mention to you developers is the fact that the levels get increasingly difficult, but as players our skill does not increase that much! It is so hard to finish a single level for me now, at around lvl 65, it can take weeks! I do not have the thing where I can ask other people for lives, like in imagine most people who play don't, and am generally without any powerups to help me. The game is pretty cool and can be fun to play, but there's not a whole lot I can do with it anymore. Thanks for your time!

NEEDS BUG FIXES. As others have said. Level 8, is impossible because of the bug. You can’t hit all 25 legs because the peg counter stops as soon as you slide and not enough balls to hit without a slide.

Impossible to get past level 5 “hump day”. I enjoy Peggle a lot as I am very good at it, but I do not recommend this app as level 5 is impossible. You need to collect 25 orange pegs but I cannot as there is only 22 orange pegs. Please fix your game EA and I’ll redownload it

Full of bugs. Buggiest game I’m ever played. Doesn’t count the orange balls I hit, there causing me to lose the lives over and over again. This game should not even be on the App Store, due to the sheer amount of bugs!

Nice. Cool game

Wow. How you managed to make stage 5 impossible is beyond me. Played through multiple times and doesn’t actually spawn the 25 orange pegs necessary to complete the level. I’ll clear every peg on the board and not get to move on. How.

Combos and orange pegs. When you launch the ball and get a combo it stops collecting the orange pegs that you have to get in order to beat the level but still makes them disappear, which makes the level impossible to beat once they already disappeared but you still need to get like 10 more

Terrible. There's an awful bug that won't let you clear level 8. App deleted.

Horrible bug. There’s a bug on level 8 that makes the level basically impossible

Combo Bug. Haven’t played Peggle in years, remembered it and was so excited to play and got stuck on one of the first few levels because it won’t count all the orange pegs

Good but glitch. Fix please on lvl 2 cleared all orange pegs but says 18/20

Broken. Orange pegs are not being counted when hit making levels impossible to finish

Version 3.1.0 bug. Don’t bother even downloading if they haven’t released an update. There is a game breaking bug that will keep you from progressing even past the first few levels and from looking at other reviews this has been a problem for months…

Can’t progress level. I’m stuck on level 10 because of a bug

Glitch. You will have gotten all the red points but it didn’t count them and you fail fix this I deleted the app I used to live this game now it’s a waste of time

Update. Y’all need to update. I keep failing levels even tho I got every orange thing. Says I need to hit more even tho there’s no more

Said there would be an update...3 years ago. Been waiting a few years they never bother to fulfill what they said when I beat it the first time 3 years ago

Bring back Peggle classic. Please bring back Peggle classic! I love the music!

Bugged. Level 5 if not done correctly is bugged it tells you to hit a certain amount of orange pegs. I had to complete it over and over again to get past it and finally did it with little to no 5orange pegs combos in order to get it done. As well as level 10 is completely bugged. It won’t “save” or finish the level in order for you to move forward with the game.

How to ruin Peggle. The game lay is fun. I prefer the original but this is good too. However it doesn’t give you the perks your supposed to get when you watch a video. Also it doesn’t save where you are so you to beat the same level over and over and over again til it eventually decides to save it. I’ll beat 5-6 levels in a row and when I go back to play again I have to beat them all over again. That is frustrating.

Bug at level 8. There is a bug where all the pegs are gone but it only says 7/25

Stuck on level 8. Completing the level how it wants causes it to only register 8/25 of the orange pegs as hit. The screen goes blank and there is no way to complete it. Please fix this, I used to love this game.

It would be a fun game if it didn’t freeze all the time.. On my iPhone, it freezes and will not let you past level 15. On my iPad, it freezes and will not let you past level 10. I have downloaded and deleted numerous times and it freezes at the exact same place every time!! Very frustrating.

Update the game. I finished the game and now there’s nothing to do. Please update it because it’s a nice game and I like it. Please and Thank you.

Bug. Imagine not updating your game

Love. Peggle blast is the most amazing game i’ve ever played. . thank you peggol

Game bug. Stuck at level 8 because of a bug

Big Needs to be Fixed. As many others have said, there is a bug that prevents me from progressing in the game. Level 8 is a one shot level, which clears all the pegs. However, after that shot, I am left with 50 balls in “the bank,” all the pegs are gone, and the counter says I’ve got 7/25 orange pegs. Please fix!! Five stars, because Peggle is my comfort time killer. I’ve played it over and over and over, I don’t know how many time, and will continue to do so. But please fix this issue!! Also, a new Peggle game would be appreciated.

Brutal. Literally stuck on level 5 and can’t progress because of a glitch where you have to hit 25 orange pegs as a task for the level but the level only contains 21 orange pegs making it impossible😂 so much potential, but really bad game

Issue regarding level 5. I used to play Peggle before the newest update and I just started playing it again and I am stuck on level 5 because if I get a combo one or 3 orange Peggles are gone from the total count and it’s impossible to beat the level. I’ll play this game again when this issue is resolved. With Disappointment, Peggle Player.

Bugged. Fun game but the game bugs at level 10 and doesn’t save so can’t even continue playing…

Glitch in the game. Like everyone else mentioned, the game glitches when you get any sort of combo, and any orange pegs you hit directly after the combo are not counted, so you end up running out of orange pegs and losing the level, even if you’ve hit all the orange.

Orange targets bug. You will never have all 25 orange targets at the end of level 4, there is a major bug that needs to be fixed or else your game is going to sinply have no players

Broken. Not only did they remove Peggle Deluxe, the replacement doesn’t even work after a few levels. Zero stars!

Level 5 is broken. Same thing everyone else is saying. Level 5 does not allow you to pass. It states you have not hit 25/25 red pegs despite entering the “Peggle Blast” mode. This is despite clearing all the pegs on the level. Unplayable unfortunately.

Level Completion STILL Broken. Combo animations halt the orange peg counter—making it impossible beat levels even when there is nothing left onscreen

Amazing but my progress keeps getting deleted!. I love Peggle! However I do not love having to repeat level 51 and on every time I want to play! My progress keeps getting deleted :(

Loved it. Great game if u thought there was bugs u just need practice. Beat it finally took me 2 years.

Lvl 8 is broken. Lame

Won't let me forward. Keeps me replaying the same levels. I was at 100 and now I'm back at 97 just realized this has been happening over and over. Won't let me get to the raccoon on the map. Love this game super fun and addicting please fix so I can actually move forward !

Way too many ads and micro transactions. Classic Peggie should still be available, it’s a real shame it was removed.

Could be great!. However bugs are everywhere and they prevent you from advancing in the game. If you clear out all the pegs somehow you won’t have done so according to the game leaving you with an empty arena and nothing to do

0 stars. can’t get past level 8 because of a bug that doesn’t let you get the pegs I recommend the real peggle

Peg counter broken. Could not pass level 5 because orange peg counter only goes to 22, but 25 are needed to move ahead.

Lost progress. I’ve beat this game multiple times. I get it whenever I get a new device. This time around, it’s glitching a lot. I got stuck on level 157 for a few days, when I finally beat it, I got all the way to 170. When I opened the app again this evening, I had lost my progress and been moved back to level 157. Which I’m now stuck on again. Please resolve :(

Bug ruins the game. I couldn’t beat level 5 because combos cancel out the orange pegs making it physically impossible unless you go for terrible shots every time. I beat level 5 but level 8, the one level that is meant to be finished in one shot using combos is impossible. Because even if you do terrible shots and try not to get combos, its extremely hard with only 2 BALLS. Horrible bug, please fix this!

The game doesn’t work. Whenever you get a streak or a slide the orange peg counter stops working which makes it so that you can’t finish the levels. Level 8 was almost impossible because of this glitch. Devs please fix because I want to enjoy this game.

BAD. It’s terrible, some levels are impossible to beat and when you do beat them you’re hit with another seemingly impossible one.

Bring back Peggle classic. Bring back Peggle classic!! I hate losing lives on this game. Trouble beating level 53.

Disappointed. Bring back the OG!

Crashing. Edit: I deleted and reinstalled the app. I had it connected to my Facebook so I reconnected and kept my place and it stopped crashing. I now give 4 stars. I love the game and it is lots of fun but every time I open it now it crashes. I’ve deleted a bunch of apps and photos so I have enough storage for it to work properly. I have also updated my phone and it continues to crash. I have seen online that I should delete and reinstall the app but I’m worried about losing my place. If it wasn’t crashing I’d probably give it 5 stars instead of 3 but this crash is driving me insane.

Completely luck based. Sure, this game has its fun moments, but after level 50 the game gets extremely luck based. Not to mention you only have 5 attempts at a level before you have to wait 20 minutes for you lives to come back. Also the “boss” levels have multiple stages, be level 60 you have to beat 4 stages that are extremely difficult before you even get a chance to challenge the boss. Why, as the game goes on, do you add a level to each boss? Why not have it to where you just fight the boss from the start of the level? Or even have 3 stages, 2 normal levels and then the boss? In short, the game is fun when you first start because you can actually beat levels. As you progress they try to make the game more difficult but end up just making it all about luck. If you want fun for about a couple days this game is for you. Beyond that this game is just another badly designed iOS rip off.

Excessive monetization ruins an otherwise great game. Peggle Blast itself is wonderfully fun, and while not idealized on mobile, is still an enjoyable way to pass the time while I’m out and about. However, I began getting unskippable ads after every round I played whether I won or lost, and even once right after I started a round. I don’t know whether this is a glitch or not, but it majorly impacts the playability of the game. Also, having to pay for extra lives if one loses too many rounds keeps users from sitting down and playing the game for extended periods, forcing them to turn time to competitors’ apps that don’t limit play time if they’re unwilling to pay micro-transactions. There are just too many ads, and too big of a play mechanic bound by micro-transactions or waiting an arbitrary amount of time, to make this a worthwhile casual mobile game.

Truly disheartening. I originally discovered this game as an app a few years ago, finding out about the computer game after. I reached a certain level that was too hard and kept running out of lives and would have to wait hours to play again or pay (and cmon, if you pay for a free game you’ve already lost. Supporting the creators is one thing, desperation to waste time is another.) I tried downloading again recently and it’s just full of glitches now. I clearly finish a level and it didn’t count multiple pegs. It’ll claim I failed and only got 23/25 pegs when the board is completely clear of any pegs. Level 8 where you hit it at an angle and it goes around the swirl? It counts five of the pegs and then starts adding balls. This is why I only play toonblast.

Restricted Play and Too Many Ads. This game is almost too challenging. The puzzles really require a high level of precision, but there is enough chance to allow one to progress. The biggest deterrent is the strong emphasis on advertising; it is so ubiquitous as to be an equal part of the gameplay. There is no option to pay for an ad-free version. Moreover, like too many other games in the App Store, you can only play as long as you have lives left. Once you are out, you must either pay to continue or watch more ads. Sometimes the ads are so frequent that they play over each other. Older devices can't handle the ad videos which causes frequent crashes and eliminates the ability to earn power ups. Give us unrestricted play. Give us the option to remove the ads. Give us another way to earn power ups.

Designed to take your money. Though I really love the concept of the game, after the first twenty or so levels the level of difficulty skyrockets, and though "technically" it is possible to get through the game without spending anymore the levels are so hard you have to play them over a hundred times just to get a passing score. They give you a few free coins at the very beginning, enough to buy one power-up but then I didn't see a single extra coin after that. Not to mention the daily challenge quests have to all be completed to get a reward and without fail one quest is always a Facebook quest requiring you to send invites to your friends, etc. I was really enjoying it, but when you either have to pay, or advertise to move on, I'm out.

Can't win without buying stuff!. I absolutely loved this game... however, the gameplay forces you to buy in-app purchases to even think about winning. They are expensive. It's not a matter of skill it's a matter of paying over $30 now and still I'm not able to advance to the next level. Waiting 5 hours to level up is ridiculous. Especially after just paying $10 to win the last level. I'm All about supporting business but put ads or something or charge for a different version that isn't free. You don't even earn "Peggle points" or whatever for winning levels so you can get the advanced balls. I deleted the app. Would consider being a customer again if they'd change these features and not steal my money.

Levels are broken. I used to play this game when I was a kid and when I saw it was on the App Store I got excited boy I wish someone would’ve warned me about the trouble I would’ve been getting into I was so excited I didn’t check any of the reviews I didn’t even know how many stars it had I get into the game and at first it’s fine it’s pretty much just how I remember it until I get to level five the goal is to get 25 orange pegs but for some reason when the level generates there is never actually a total of 25 orange pegs on the level so even after getting every single peg includingAll of the blue pegs I still don’t win because there was never enough pegs for me to get to complete the level and because of that I lost all of my lives and can’t play the game anymore

Can’t even beat level 5. Oh boy. As other reviewers have stated this game is fun in nature, but it is clear that the developers see you as nothing more than a potential source of cash. As a person, I rarely write reviews for games so the fact that this game was so atrociously bad is honestly impressive. I made it through the first few levels that teach you the game and when I made it to level five I got stuck and deleted the game. To pass the level, you needed to clear 25 orange pegs, and the game consistently generated anywhere from 20-24. I had multiple attempts on the level where I cleared every peg and still didn’t finish the level because there weren’t enough orange pegs. I used to play peggle on my old Xbox360 and I loved it then so to see it come to this level is hurtful and disappointing

COULD BE 5 STARS....BUT. THIS GAME IS ONE OF THE BEST, if you like the Challenge/ Puzzle Game. So why only 2 Stars?? BECAUSE THERES ONLY A SMALL AMOUNT OF LIVES BEFORE A TIMER TO WAIT & WAIT & WAIT FOR MORE LIVES. THERES NOT MANY OPTIONS TO GET MORE, Unless you have A TON OF FACEBOOK FRIENDS THAT PLAY THE GAME. ( JUST LIKE CANDY CRUSH, BUT WITHOUT THE FOLLOWING) so that's the 1st reason for the lack of stars. But unlike Candy Crush, you can't WIN any of the Game Advances i.e. Xtra power, different tools. You can ONLY BUY EXPENSIVE COINS To put towards them. But CANNOT WIN ANY ( at least not were I am, but I'm a decent ways in So.....) BIG PLUS there isn't a Barrage if Ads, but I would Gladly pay a $1 or $2 to have more lives or ways to win more lives and get rid of the adds. So, HOPEFULLY THEY SEE THIS AND OTHER REVIEWS SND MAKE CHANGES TO WHAT COULD BE A VIRAL PHONE GAME, ONLY TIME WILL TELL.....

No...we’re NOT just bad at it. This game is a slap in the face of old Peggle. The cliche boosts and in-game currencies don’t need to be there. There are already power-ups built in to the levels via the Peggle masters, why do we need more? The fireball is unnecessary and is just there to make the game artificially “harder”. And this “Fjorn” guy? Why? Anyways, strangely, I noticed that most of the five star reviews criticize the one-star reviewers claiming that they’re just not good enough at the game...hmmm...it’s almost like EA might be posting fake reviews using nearly the same structure with each one just so they can get more $$$. (This is just a theory, don’t take it very seriously...yet) EA, stop being, well, EA and port the ORIGINAL Peggle to the App Store instead of this GARBAGE. Not lying, you would get SO MUCH more money if you were to make it pay-to-play.

Cheating game. This game, based on an amazing and fun game from way back when, is a testament to how EA and modern game developers want to screw over the costumer for their own bottom line. Do not start to play this game, you will absolutely regret it. This game cheats, sometimes force quitting when you are one peg away from winning or even stopping the ball mid air to make sure you don't hit any pegs. I have even seen this game pop up with the "you lose" splash screen as the victory music begins to play in the background. This game will make you want to throw your phone against a wall, and EA will laugh and take your money and ad revenue while you do it. Would give 0/5 stars if I could. Try a better game like Roller Coaster Tycoon Classic, you'll probably have more fun and spend less money anyway. TLDR; try something else, please.

Glitching app. It was fun having a grate time everthing was going well and iCouldn’t understand why this game is rate is so low until I got to level eight The level is glitching so badThe books are in a spiral and it tells you to hit that brick on the outer part of the spiral say the ball will hit all the bricks on the inner part the spiral once that is done it says that you still only have seven out of 25 orange bricks even though all bricks have been hit then gives you a bunch of random balls no invisible bricks and you’re stuck there saying incomplete even though there’sLiterally no way to complete it I hope this gets fixed soon really was enjoying the game until this unfortunately happened

Almost forces you to buy stuff. I love Peggle but this game is ruined by the fact that they expect you to pay for power ups to do levels. They make levels that are nearly impossible to get you to buy power ups or more lives, you have to either invite friends or wait a few hours to get to the next stage (which isn't too bad though) and it's one of those games where they let you play but you only have 5 lives before they make you wait for them to recharge or buy more. And then there's the ads that will pop up here and there which gets annoying when you are stuck on an annoyingly impossible level and you're trying to retry it but a Coca Cola ad just popped up. It's better to just go play regular Peggle. Wouldn't recommend playing this one unless you're fine with spending money.

Amazing!. This games is one of my favorite games ever! Yes people complain because you can use real money to buy power ups but I never bought any and have completed everything! I got all the stars, all the secret pegs, and have beaten every level! If I can I know other people have too. The only complaint I have is that there hasn't been any more levels released in forever and I'm tired of waiting. I want more levels past level 208. POPCAP PLEASE RELEASE MORE LEVELS! Done worry about the story too much, but people that have beaten the game want more. Look how many levels candy crush has.

BRUH WHY. I have never plaid such a popular game that has SO MANY BUGS. I spent hours getting through different worlds just for me to close the app and come back to the game pushing me back to levels I’ve already beaten. I’m glad I didn’t spend a penny on anything because it would’ve been useless considering it just starts me over without me even having to refresh the app! It’s ridiculous, just make a software update! With how long this game has been out this is awful. There’s no reason it should have this bad of a glitch. To make matters worse, this is not a one time occurrence, it’s every single time I play and close out the app. It’d be awesome if there was a save data option in the settings of the game but nope just disappointment all around especially when I spin the daily prize wheel and the game just freezes. Just why?

Preparation for the most painful level of any game you will ever play. My god. Level 64 is pain. Only pain. There is no aspect of this level that is fun in any way. I recommend you buy at least one dozen chocolate donuts to make you feel better before starting this level. You’ll play 63, win, and say “that was the hardest thing I have ever tried to do.” And then you’ll get to level 64, and you’ll wish you were still on level 63. Gnomes, more than 5 bombs, glass pegs everywhere. No solid way of winning this terrible, painful level besides an act of the gods. You will need an angel to save you, if you do not have an angel do not download this game.

Genuinely challenging. I’ve had to try levels 10s of times to pass. Sometimes it needs a smarter strategy and sometimes all you can hope for is a luckier distribution of the pegs. It got frustrating but in the end is rewarding because you CAN pass. No need to spend money and the ads are skippable after 5 seconds unless you’re getting a reward. There are some glitches once in a while but they are rare. They were more common in the later levels. Thank you for such a good game! Please add more levels 💜

Cheats you out of wins. I just downloaded this game after forgetting about it for years because I remember loving it. This time around, I keep beating the levels by clearing all orange pegs, it releases the extra balls I have for bonus points (because I cleared all orange pegs already!) and then it tells me I failed the level because I didn’t get enough orange pegs… there weren’t any more available or I would have cleared them with the extra balls I had left that were released for bonus points! Hopefully the game will fix this in an update or I won’t continue playing because I shouldn’t have to replay levels I beat already and I definitely shouldn’t have to wait to get back lives I shouldn’t have lost.

Money Grab. I remember playing this game years ago on PC and loving the experience. When I saw this on the App Store I was very excited. However, I have quickly realized that this is only available to make a lot of money. The levels are purposefully designed to basically require you to purchase power ups and coins to advance to higher levels. The pegs are almost always covered in ice or slime which makes a single orange peg go from needing to be hit once to three times before it will count as actually being hit. The number of balls you get is not nearly enough and it seems that free balls (especially the ones earned by getting a lot of points with one shot) are much more rare on this particular version and platform. Sadly, I can honestly say I don’t recommend this game to anyone, lol. What a shame.

Micro Transactions. I’ve been a Peggle fan for a long time and have spent more hours than I care to admit playing on Xbox. I was excited to try this game on the go....I was. While there is a lot right about this game and loads of potential, it falls short in my opinion. Mainly because of they way they try to strong-arm you into making purchases to complete the game. You can pass it without them but it’s going to come down to chance, not skill. This game killed the magic that was Peggle. I hope the next iteration does away with micro transactions (or at least doesn’t try to force them down your throat) and gives us a proper Peggle game like the ones on Xbox. Still love Peggle, still looking forward to future games but this one definitely hurt. Peggle is about fun and challenge, not shameless money grabbing.

I wish I could give it 5 stars but I can’t. I loved the original Peggle game but was disappointed by this mobile version. I hate the freemium game model and would have paid like $10 for a full version of the game that didn’t limit lives (especially if it had more levels). I refused to spend a penny on the stupid, expensive in-app-purchases they wanted me to buy just to beat a single level. I also refused to do social media shares since I find those annoying. I beat the game using very few of those extras you win from the prize wheel so those aren’t even that helpful. I beat the game and was going to try to get five stars on every level, but now it won’t even fit on the iPhone XS screen properly so I can’t even see some of the pegs/gems 😑. I imagine the iPhone X has had the same issue because of the same screen size but no updates have come out for device optimization. And for level 195, how can you even play it again once you beat it since it was only accessible to play in the daily challenge menu after you beat level 194??? Some of those challenge ones were the most fun to replay. Wasted opportunities and clear disregard for consumer input.

Kind of sad. I downloaded this after being reminded of how much I love the original Peggle and was confused at all the negative reviews. But they’re right, it truly has levels made in a way that makes you feel the need to buy power ups to win. A good example would be in the case of levels having several layers of pegs, and a fireball over bombs set to go off on 5 turns. Not to mention the “battle” which contains several levels in one round. If you lose in the middle, you get set back to the first in that round. It’s absolutely irritating, and for a game as relaxing as peggle, unnecessary. I tried to play it under the mindset of “well I don’t need to buy anything so I should be fine.” But the way this game is run absolutely killed my drive to want to even try.

i miss the old peggle.... i’ve played this game since i was about 8 or 9 (i’m now 14) and i’ve always loved it. i played it on my xbox 360 and would replay the levels hundreds of times until i mastered them. i did the same on the app when i got my very first ipod touch and i loved it bc the levels were exactly the same as on the xbox. i played it just as much as i played it on the xbox and beat the game multiple times. i was recently thinking about peggle and decided to redownload it. i hate the new levels. there’s too much extra stuff and the storyline is so different. the only reason i gave it 3 stars is bc i love peggle so much that i’m still addicted to the whole idea of it. if you ever find a way to play the old peggle, DO IT. it’s so much better.

BEST APP EVER!. I've always wanted Peggle so I got this free one right when I saw it. I was annoyed by the hearts at first, but I actually have gotten used to them after playing for at least 2 years now (I'm at level 105 because of deleting this and resetting my progress a few times before). I never thought that I would actually LIKE a game with dumb hearts that load in like candy crush. I just play on the way to work, at lunch, and on the way back since it takes about 2-3 hrs for all 6 (5 without Facebook login) hearts to load. Love it!

Fun game play when it works. I've come to expect ads and games trying to have me spend money to win. However, those are not my issues. I'm still rocking a 4S and far too many times to count, the game has crashed on me. I'll be in the middle of a game, and poof, it's gone. My second issue is that twice now, I have successfully beaten a level only to play the next and realize I was playing the exact same level. It's as if the game didn't realize I won - which is weird because the usual stuff happens when you win a level. This is the most frustrating part - especially when I've spent so much time trying to beat it.

Awesome and easy way to pass time. I initially got Peggle just as a game to pass the time. I ended up addicted like most and beat the game in about 2-3 months. Now i’m going back to get all the secret pegs. I got my boyfriend hooked as well and recommend it to everyone. I never spent a single penny on this game and anyone who says you have to pay to win, isn’t playing right. The only thing that bothered me was that there were no ads in the beginning (which is why i loved it so much) but about 1/3 through the game ads started coming up after every level. It’s annoying, but it’s nice to be able to watch an ad for a prize.

good game buttttt. i love this game so much, i used to play it with my dad when i was much younger so i have many fond memories from this game. i downloaded it hoping to have a game to play when I'm bored at school but here is the problem. no matter what i do the game forcefully pauses my music and i cannot start it again. there is no point for a mobile game to not let you play music especially when you turn off all the game sounds. id understand if its a music based game but this is literally peggle it has no reason to be doing this. so because of that the time i get to play this game is very limited (im always listening to music)

Bring back the original. I can appreciate some of the newer mechanics of this version of the game. I also understand that the market is trending towards this style of play. But I honestly can’t enjoy this game, and I’ve tried so many times. The original had frustrating levels that were challenging on their own and challenges that pushed you to perfect your skills. This version simply frustrates you. If I get stuck on a level I’m forced to try and complete it over several days since I’m not into micro transactions to buy lives. This just leads to more and more frustration. Stemming from this is the fact that you don’t unlock new heroes often enough which is sad since the characters made the game great.

Not worth it. Buggiest game I’ve ever played. Incredibly disappointed as this used to be one of my favorite games years ago. It doesn’t register all the orange pegs being eliminated. So after popping every peg on the screen, I’m sitting here looking at a 4/25 orange pegs cleared (with ZERO pegs of any color left) and forced to restart the level which burns a life. On the long shot challenge, it didn’t register the long shots towards the objective even though it said I made the long shots. One of the levels I got an all clear (registered I cleared all the pegs) launched all the leftover balls for end of level bonus, didn’t register that the level was cleared and wouldn’t let me proceed to the next level. All this and I’m only up to level 8. Horrible. Not worth the time.

Fun game!. The game plays great and is entertaining. I completed the original Peggle and downloaded Peggle Blast recently. I was annoyed to find ads and micro transaction schemes, however, you don't need to buy anything. I have completed this game 100% 3 stars every single level, and never spent a penny. I did occasionally watch an ad or two willingly to get an extra ball to finish a level, but that was my choice and a nice option to have. Also, I like that if you beat a level but didn't get 3 stars, the game gives you unlimited lives to retry any level you've already beat.

Save yourself the frustration.. Filled with ads that can't be removed. They pop up when you finish a level so right when you tap to play another level, you tap the ad that appears at the same time. Then it opens safari. Then it opens the App Store. It's great. It's a freemium game that wants you to keep paying to beat the levels easier. If you lose, you have to pay to keep playing or wait several hours. Even if you win, you have to pay or invite people on Facebook or else you have to wait several hours (I've seen up to 12). It's an absolute joke. Why wouldn't they want me playing their game? "Hey you beat a level! Good job! Do another in 5 hours". I've seen two recurring glitches across several updates of the game: First is the glitchy flashing screen. Randomly the screen will start to flash a bit. Second is at times the screen is totally unresponsive until you close the app from the app switcher and open it again. It happens on occasion when you start a new level. Both of these have been mentioned in other reviews. For all the money they could be making from the freemium-structure of the game, you'd think they could update and fix the game. Save yourself the frustration. Don't get this game.

The good with the bad. So its just like the popcap classic peggle. Super fun and good amount of playing time. However, reached level 5 and cleared all the pegs with 12 balls remaining and the level would end that I didn’t clear 25 orange pegs. So thats odd. Also if I clear the level with 3 stars and 600k in points, then why is a life used up? Usually I clear levels as long as I can until I don’t reach the goal and then lose a life. Not going to spend any $$$ but enjoy the game. Would pay flat payment (which I did for the computer version 16 years ago). ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

I LOVE this game!. I absolutely love Peggle and it’s one my favorite games to play! But… I have to say I think there are some levels that are almost impossible to win without ‘buying’ the extra stuff or paying to switch the character you play… and because of that I’ve been stuck on Level 75 for the loooongessst time 🥺. I’ve tried being patient, and I’m trying different strategies, but I just can’t past the second battle after I’ve barely succeeded at the 1st on that level. I don’t know if it’s a bug or if it’s the level itself, but I would appreciate it if it could be adjusted 🥺🧡 and would definitely give this game five stars if it weren’t for the impossibility of some of these levels. Or! Maybe for those of us who can’t buy coins to purchase the extra magic functions— maybe incorporate a way where we can earn those coins to use on characters and bonus magic functions through rewards we get every time we win a level? That would be Awesomesauce 🥲🔥

Glitches Galore!!. Best game if it actually worked! You fulfill enough of the extra goals to get a spin, you spin & then it goes no where…you hit continue & it does NOTHING. You cannot collect the reward. Also, no way to go back and see the clue you may have missed in writing prior to game play once you start a playing. No help button during game play either. Also I have many hundreds of FB friends & there is no way NONE of them have this game right? So when I click ask fb friends for a life it either says nothing at all, aka no response but sits there, or it says you are unable to get anymore lives right now. Well I have none! ?? Come on. This is annoying EA. As big of a name as you are you could at least fix this crap.

Great game, but broken levels. I don’t know if it is just bad luck, but I have been stuck on the same level for about 8 months, after almost effortlessly passing the first 100 or so levels. I refuse to buy any power ups because this is a free to play game. Some of the levels in this game take a great deal of luck to win and practically no logic/skill. It is invigorating and makes me bored of the game when I’m playing the same level over and over again and not even getting close to winning. These types of games are my favorite and in games like candy crush and toon blast, I will be stuck on one level for at most 3 days or so, not 8 months. Please fix these levels.

EA has reached a new low. I want to start off by saying that if you are a developer of this game and you are powerless to the greedy decisions of EA execs, I don’t care. Did we give the soldiers of the third Reich a pass because they were just following orders? Nobody should be letting EA do this. They’ve taken another beloved game and turned it into god awful pay to win nightmare. This game is so blatant about its tactics to get users to fork over money it’s insane anyone falls for it. And speaking of users, you’re also part of the problem. If you spent a cent on this game I hope you go bankrupt and become homeless. The whales that enable companies to shift all their products to cater to a few idiotic spenders have ruined the mobile gaming industry. Ugh I seriously cannot stress enough how this game sums up everything that is wrong with EA and this industry in general.

Disappointment of a lifetime. I’ve been playing Peggle for years on Xbox with my family and my self. Every night me and my husband knock out a few levels and have some good laughs. We have been waiting forever for a Peggle 3 and upon searching for Peggle 3 we found this and were really excited even though it wasn’t what we wanted. Then THEN THEN I start playing and see all the features and cool stuff and I am like yeah okay this is awesome then I lose a level over and over again becasue I wasn’t getting all the red pegs. Catch is all the red pegs on my screen were gone about that time my husband is like uhh why is the screen missing. . And we realize that we can’t even see the whole screen to play. So now we are stuck with complete disappointment! Get it together. This company has too much money to not have this fixed already.

Just too much baloney.. I tried out this game when it first came out, and was initially enjoying the fun presentation, but over time it became obvious that certain levels required paying money to beat. Some levels all but required power ups that cost money. I bought and downloaded the classic game and really liked it! Simple, fun, no nonsense. Eventually I tried it again and the new format of watching ads for extra balls and power ups seemed a nice compromise. But I've sort of hit a wall again. The constant ads popping up not just when you choose to but after losing, beating a level, exiting the level, etc. becomes tiresome, especially because of the slow delay where the 'retry' button pops up, you reach to click it and whoops! you just clicked the ad that popped up and the game is swinging you over to the app store. That and the way it constantly asks for money every single time you lose just hit critical mass for me. I'm done, the game isn't enjoyable any more. EDIT: For some reason I thought about this game again and I’m still mad about it, especially sense they removed Peggle Classic from the app store. That’s the situation with modern games. You pay money for a product, and then suddenly the game you had ceases to exist. Garbage.

Beat it. I am ready for some more levels. I’ve gotten my 3 stars (with not ONE penny spent). I’ve found all hidden pegs except for 195 -.- and since iOS no longer has the Game Center app and Peggle does not have a viewable achievements board, I do not know what else to do. I love this game and will wait patiently. To all the people who have given one star because it’s too hard- pace yourself and play in your free time to pass the time instead of stressing yourself out. Obviously the creators did a great job with creating a “GAME” that is completely strategic.

EA Ruins Games. Looked for something similar to peggle classic, which I had on my original iPod touch. Great game done by Popcap Games (RIP). EA turned this game into an over-wrought time waster whose flashiness only just masks the emptiness of the gameplay. After about an hour of normal play you will get "stuck" so you have to wait for lives to refill, or conveniently buy new lives which conveniently cost gems which are just one convenient button away from daddy's credit card. I imagine EA has made fortunes from children who mash on the "accept" button just to get that sweet fake reward, because they just don't know any better. The highest cash option for gems is $20. All in all a complete waste of time and totally indicative of the scammy nature that all freemium games like EA's have to offer. I hope these games become illegal in the near future to stop the mass preying on children these scam artists perform.

Some bugs on iPad Pro, disappointing pay model. I played original Peggle for years, and have not been looking forward to having to switching to this version since the new iOS will not support the old (32-bit) Peggle HD. I've been playing for a few days and enjoy some of the new game play mechanics, but I haven't gotten to any of the higher levels yet that other reviews have complained about. It is disappointing that EA has switched to a pay for power-up model, and when I get to levels that need that I plan to quite the game (-1 star for that). Otherwise my complaint here is that there is an intermittent screen flicker on my 13" iPad Pro that is really annoying. I think this game was designed for iPhones (it can only be played in portrait mode), and adapting it to iPad isn't working well (-1 more star).

Glitches. PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE FIX THE GLITCHES. I will progress through up to 6 levels and the minute I close the app it goes right back to the first one I already passed. Sometimes it doesn’t do this but this is the 3rd time I’ve gotten to level 64 and been dropped back to 62. I also had to pass level 60 three times before it would let me keep going. I really enjoy the game, but the glitches are so angering especially when you use power ups to pass levels just to get knocked back down. Also it wont let me collect prizes from completing daily tasks. Please just fix these I’m begging you. I want to keep playing, but I’m about to delete it because it’s so poorly made.

Great game becomes not so great. I love Peggle. I actually named my cat Peggle (what?! It's a good cat name!) and this game still has the Peggle feel except a few things... 1. Sometimes the ball will get stuck on the edge of the screen and not stop moving so you have to forfeit a turn to start over. 2. The game is about shooting the ball at the right time. It's a shame that sometimes I have to tap the screen 3 or 4 times until the ball shoots rendering the ball just to shoot at the wrong time and wasting a turn. 3. The levels on this came become very difficult very early in the game. Every level becomes one of the frustrating levels from Candy Crush that you just want to beat and get on with. After so many, it becomes tiresome.

Saved Progress and Level 10. I used to love this game and i honestly still do. Unfortunately when i logged in none of my progress from my old times saved and if there’s a way to get that back i would appreciate it. If unable to then i would just love to ask if you can please fix Level 10. I try and try and try but it doesn’t seem to let me go past it after i beat it. If there’s a way to get my progress back please give it back because i was in batrinas world. My user ID is 646a3a6769f6c8a5c154c0F283d1b94

This game was great....but then. They absolutely ruined it with their over the top freemium business model. I understand that free games have to make money somehow, but the devs crossed it about a mile back. Showing a menu just long enough for me to reach for a button, and then popping an ad in so I click it and they get that additional ad revenue is not only despicable, but it takes me away from the game. If you want me to play your game, don't send me to the App Store every two minutes trying to get me to download Bejeweled or Candy Crush. I've beaten the game all the way through, but continue to play it because I enjoy the gameplay, but today is the last day. I encourage everyone to give this game a 1 star review and then delete the game. Developers need to be sent a message that these over the top ad based revenue models need to stop.

Hot garbage. Ads after every level, more gameplay-ruining mechanics added to interfere with the fun, limited play time thanks to "lives" and repeated failures due to the random nature of these new mechanics. EA claims another victim in its campaign to ruin the entire video game industry. Don't waste your time with this one. It lures you in with its bright colors, appealing design, and simple gameplay, but after the first handful of levels, it becomes exponentially less possible to continue without failing 50 times on a single stage. It will frustrate you until you are ready to throw your phone. Oh, and the game is rigged. Balls glitching through pegs and entities, and ball physics slightly inconsistent enough to make you pull your hair out. Incredible how EA took one of the most pleasant, relaxing, and fun indie games ever made, and made it into a complete 180-degree cash cow.

EA published this game.. If the amazing devs at PopCap were able to develop this game without EA interfering with their horrible business tactics, I would gladly rate this game 5 stars. You won't get very far into the game before encountering one of EA's numerous schemes to extort money from players. When a cruelly-placed fireball ends your last life during the final portion of a multi-part stage, or an advertisement pops up when you're about to tap a menu button, know that EA did all of that to steal your hard-earned money. It doesn't end with this game, though. Remember the original Peggle? It used to be on the App Store as well, and it was really good, too. But then EA had to step in and get rid of it, forcing everyone to play this horrible excuse of a game to get their Peggle fix. Sure, you can still play it if you bought it beforehand like I did, but not for long, since it's very unlikely for it to get iOS 11 support.

I Love This Game!. I don’t care what other people have to say about this game, but I love it so frickin’ much! I would spend hours playing this game, that is of course until I run out of lives. I have gotten very far into the games, and just because the levels are hard doesn’t mean they’re impossible. The only thing I would suggest about the game is to give you free tokens (I forgot what it was called) every once in a while, because I usually end the level having 1 orange peg left, and it triggers me to not have complete it. Also, we should be able to watch videos to get more lives. Other than that, this game is highly addicting, and greatly encourage you to download this app!

Great Game, Some Sound Problems and High Scores. Peggle Blast has plenty of clever puzzles and intelligent level design that keeps you on your heels. However, now that I have played through the game, I would appreciate if your high score for each level would be recorded. I like replaying levels and it would be nice to beat personal high scores on each one. Also, the music and sound do not work for some reason; music plays for a few seconds upon launching the app and then goes out. I am playing on an iPhone 10. Sound only comes back on when advertisements play. Please fix this so I can enjoy playing this great game.
