Worthless. Does nothing except act as a total con game. I accidentally bought it thinking I bought another. What the heck. Totally useless app does not begin to describe it. Con game is more like it. I followed the flimsy excuse for directions explicitly for backing up my iPhone to my pc. Apple is very consistent where they do this. But no, the desktop doesn’t find the folder. And here is the kicker. I wasted $4.99 for this app, when it does nothing! It is the desktop app that allegedly does everything. What?

Junk. Paid for this few months ago and it worked on day 1. Ever since, there are error screens with confusing instructions that don't match iTunes or the options in the phone. Highly recommend using the a different app.

Disappointed. I had high hopes for the app but after several hours trying to get it to work I had to give up. This was an expensive app and I would like a refund please!

DOES NOT WORK AT ALL. I was never able to access my text messages at all using this app despite following the directions, watching the help videos, and googling my problem for answers. When I tried to send a message using their “Support” button, I got a fatal error message… and no help (obviously)!

Could never get it to work. Pain to try and figure out. Have to download an additional component for your computer as well. Really useless.

You have to download the app to your phone, iTunes, and a computer but you can’t download it on a computer because the website is invalid. Very Disappointing. 1. I just paid $4.99 for a “pro” app that requires another $3.99 for the pro version. 2. After downloading, the first thing that happens is I get a message saying the only way this app will work is if I also have a computer with the software. I only own my iPad Pro. No computer. How do I get my money back?

Worst App Yet. This app is really a piece of crap. It'll export from a 3 year old back up from an iPhone 5 but every time I try to get it to export from my current phone and backup it just keeps crashing. What a frustrating waste of my time and money. If #Apple #iPhone would just stop being so freaking proprietary it would not be an issue. I mean of all the things this phone can supposedly do - it cannot send imessages or texts to an email or print them. REALLY?!

Not user friendly. I have followed every instruction that has been provided, which isn’t much. I backed up my phone on my computer and the app won’t connect to each other and says there are no backups and to use ITunes. Again I followed every instruction and there are no other instructions to follow. Waste of money.

Hate this app. The app keeps closing on me and it took me forever to download it to my computer. Every time I try to export the messages the app close one me. I even paid for unlimited export and it won’t let me export the messages. I just wasted my money.

Works perfect for me. No problems at all, exports my messages on pdf and excel. Smooth operation, just followed instructions

Works as advertised; great customer support. I had a little trouble downloading, but customer support was responsive. They e-mailed a newer version of the link to download and then it worked as advertised.

Works great!. I installed and followed all the steps and first try to export to email and it worked just like it said it would. No idea why complaints previously here must have had bugs or users did not install correctly. I love it!!!

App doesn’t work. I have downloaded the app and paid the full version to unlock all features. I have followed the download procedures and I am able to connect with my phone to see the "download backups" button. It will authenticate and finish processing; however, nothing shows up on the "device" navigation bar. I have tried dragging the DAT file from the server to itunes file sharing and it does the same thing. I've even tried exporting to my computer, but no backup shows up. Long story short, it doesn’t work.

Great Product. I have to preserve texts with clients in my records. This is the perfect solution. Ran into a technical glitch, emailed support and got prompt help in resolving it. For attorneys or anyone else that needs to preserve text messages as business records, or for anyone who wants to keep texts but free up phone memory I highly recommend.

DOES NOT WORK! I want refund.. I have tried for the past hour to get this to work. It requires downloading unauthorized applications, installing them, creating unencrypted backups, and after all that mess, ZERO messages. I would like a refund.

Doesn’t work, support unreachable. Might have worked before, but not anymore for sure. Probably because iOS and windows have changed. But it’s not nice to leave an app for sale if it’s not updated to work on most recent versions of devices!!!

Nathan Mings. I have used this app to export texts back 9 years. I created separate files for different devices to ensure I did not miss texts. Yes I did go overboard but it does work. My greatest regret is that the application does not allow the export of photos that in many cases go with a particular text string.

Garbage - don’t waste your money. This app is years old, does not access iMessage, requires a desktop app and server connection to do anything, and also wants more money to unlock all functionality. Maybe it worked 5 years ago but in 2020 going on 2021 it is non functional and should be removed from the App Store entirely. Refund requested.

Won’t work. I cannot get the computer client to download. Apple rejects it as an Unidentified developer. Disappointed I got charged for this app now.

Keeps crashing. App needs to be updated. It continues to crash when I try to open up the messages I want to export.

It's tedious but it works. The steps for it to work is tedious but it does work. Just follow the directions to a "T" and have about 30 minutes to dedicate. And atlas, you'll be able to convert your texts to a pdf (other outputs available).

Do not buy this app!!. I bought it and it dose not work! Contacted Support for help and after a week still no response! Save your money and go elsewhere.

Need to get sreenshots too. Fantastic, just downloaded this to document client issues. I call and she texts, I email she texts. Well, now I have the whole story and will get paid. Worth more than the full upgrade and download I paid for.

Total scam. I downloaded the app. You also need to download the server from their website and the file isn’t there. If you contact support the contact form crashes.

Great app and support. This app does exactly what it claims to do and is easy to use. The support team is very helpful and answered all my questions in a timely manner. The only drawback is not seeing received and sent pictures, but the team intends to include this feature in future updates. No regrets in purchasing this app!

SCAM!! WORST APP EVER. Do not purchase this app if you don't want to waste your money! It did not work at all. I typically find myself to be fairly tech savvy but I could not get this app to export a single message. I want my money back.

Stay At Home Mom. Oh my goodness AMAZING!! I am kinda sentimental so I didn't want to lose all my texts relating to the birth of my children - so I had almost 4 gigabytes of unusable data on my iPhone! And now here they all are on my PC in a lovely, darling, FABULOUS excel document --- totally searchable, organizable, and exportable to still more formats. I LOVE IT. Thinking of ways I can export them from excel to still other formats and use them as memorabilia...

Waste of time. Not only are there surprise in app purchases, but couldn't get the darn thing to work. Very frustrating.

Waste of Money. After many tries, could not get to work. Needed files that were not downloaded. Would like money back. Apple should be notified. Don't they verify apps they sell?

Works as advertised. Downloaded on iPhone 6+. Then did backup of phone to my desktop and the app reads the files off of the backup. It works well, not a beautiful interface but easy to use and gets you the info you want to see.

Stop Text Harrassing. I am very please with this App! I am 64 years old and not particularly tech-savvy, but had not trouble downloading this app and using it immediately. While it does require you to think a bit, and to be patient while it retrieves your text information, it DOES WORK as advertised. Basically, I purchased this app on my iPad. When I launched the app, it directed me to a website to download the app to my computer. Once it was loaded to my computer, I backed up my iPhone using Itunes. Then I launched the SMS app and was off and running. I was able to export all of my text messages to Excel, or to export only text messages from a single sender. The only trouble I have ever had with the app was when I updated my iPhone to IOS 10. When the app bombed, it allowed me to send a message to the developers and a fix was in my email the next day. This app is well worth the tiny investment!

Worked a treat. I don’t know what people are complaining about. I followed the directions and it all worked perfectly and it was simple.

Fantastic for LAWYERS!. I am a lawyer and often spent hours on copying the SMS as evidence for various Court matters. This application saved me those hours. The exported SMSs have date, time, from whom and text! When I paid for the download it required me to open a website http://102… etc then I dowloaded two versions, for MAC and one for Windows. I backed up my iPhone on my computer and then opened the App. The App found my backed up sms files and when I accessed and wanted the export, I had to download the App on to my computer again (albeit free of charge- I had to click “buy” but was informed its free after the initial purchase). When I clicked “export” I was given a choice of various files types. I clicked HTML and there it is - 1 year worth of messages or 445 messages with the client! It saved me a few days of work!!!

I WANT MY MONEY BACK. The app sounded great so decided to download it. I followed instructions & backed my phone up to my Windows laptop. I needed to download a winzip program. The app & download website linked me to a winzip program that I could purchase. Silly me decided to purchase the program which didn’t work. It said that it had downloaded but every time I tried to open the program it kept taking me to another advertisement to purchase another winzip program. The app on my iPhone failed to find a server. There was no sign of the app on my laptop. The app cost $7.99 & the winzip program cost $43.99. Both have been a waste of money. My bank is going to help me retrieve the money from the company selling the winzip program. It would be a nice gesture if the creator of this app contacted disgruntled purchasers & did something about refunding their money...

Paid App with Adds. Who would pay for an App to have google adds in it?

Ok but Needs work. I had some difficulty in setting up which was resolved by reinstalling app on iPhone. The support response was prompt. The app will allow export of messages to desktop which is what I wanted. However, it is not terribly intuitive to use. The focus has been on the technology engine, not the user interface. Also attempts to download in a number of the formats offered failed, leading to a need to close software and restart. Excel and Text formats are ok but the rest won’t work. App is a good start to providing this need but unless it is made easier to use and it produces downloads in all the formats offered reliably, someone else will offer a more reliable product with a better interface and this one will fall by the wayside

Very basic with ADDS!. Does what it states but thought it would download/ export in a similar format to actual text messages. Bit disappointed... Especially having paid for app with adds!

Did what I needed. I needed to print 2 years of SMS's . Started the app on the Phone it instructed me to enter http://10.0.0.2:8080/in my computer browser which opened a window to download the program. Program downloaded and extracted in a flash. It looked for my backedup files, 1 iPad and 1 iPhone, selected iPhone, selected the contact whose SMS's I needed to print and selected export to EXCEL. Had some problems with the file so tried again with CSV. Worked great, except being CSV any coma's or enters were interpreste as new cell. Other than that @ less than $5 it 1/10th of the altenative I was looking at.

SCAM. This app is useless. First you pay the $8.00 then it installs. Then I ran my backup in iTunes and tried to follow the instructions however no matter what I tried to do, the app would not show in the file sharing apps in iTunes. PLUS, what you are purchasing is not what you get! They want you to update multiple times in order to backup your txt/sms msgs!! RIP OFF!

Best App!. I normally do not pay for apps but I absolutely love this one. I love this app because I was able to save my messages and if I ever need them, for whatever reason I can go back to them. Also, you can select which conversations to save and how they are saved. Completely worth the money!!!

LOVE it. I initially purchased and used this from my phone. I was able to export tens of thousands of messages that I wanted to keep. It was a little bit clunky to do it from the phone. This week, I went to use it again and discovered the companion computer app. It is TERRIFIC. I carefully followed the directions to back up my iPhone. I had a little bit of a hard time figuring out how to choose the Backup on the menu in the app (if you make no choice, you will get a big blank). I also had to play with selecting contacts in order to figure out how to use it best. Once I experimented and figured it out, it works just great. It does exactly what I want it to do: exports to Excel my text messages (and even my emojis) with dates and times. The only improvement I could suggest would be the ability to choose multiple (but not all) contacts for export.

Honestly, when it come to documenting everything and having proof, there is little to no recreational apps that allow you to view and save your texts on a desktop format. honest to god, this app probably saved my relationship and life. thank you.

App is So, So. The app does what it says however, if you are trying to capture a group message conversation, you will not see your responses. On the iphone 5 the app keeps shutting off at 97% download of messages. I guess that's why is $3.99

Very Poor. This is not the app, just the key and the website where to get the app. The app itself runs on a PC or Mac, my case is the Mac. It is not an apple approved app, so you have to lower your security settings to run it. When I ran it for over twelve hours, it did nothing. I am going to remove it and complain to apple for even letting the iOS app in the app store. Don't waste your time or money on this one.
