You have to get the settings right for it to work. At first everything looked green (like night vision goggles) and super white/washed-out when I took pictures. There’s a button in the bottom left corner that says “exposure” when you click it, then there’s two settings you can change. There’s one on the left that’s next to a picture of a camera shutter, and then one on the right next to “shutter speed.” It took me a minute to figure out what was going wrong, but putting both on ‘auto’ did the trick. (putting shutter speed on auto might make the camera screen change slower than how fast you move your device but once I got it pointing where I needed it, it worked pretty well)

Best night camera. Excellent camera app to shoot photos where there is little or no light...❤️❤️❤️....but pls make the shutter speed more like 20sec or 30sec

Super easy & great quality!. This app and it’s settings are super easy to navigate. Definitely the app to use if you’re looking to take high resolution photos at night!

Pics. A little hard to understand but takes excellent pics

At least it’s free..... I would have been angry had I paid for this app. It’s no better than any other camera app. When switched to auto iso & auto shutter the image becomes jittery and doesn’t focus. Low light introduces very noticeable noise. Stayed on my phone for a full day before being deleted.

Extremely impressed. I know that smart phones can only do so much compared to a device specially made for a certain purpose but with this app it is almost like you are using night night vision goggles.

Amazing app!. I have an iPhone 6s Plus and had only been using it for a couple days and i am very satisfied with it It takes a little bit of times to get used to all the different fonctions. I am considering using this app as my default camera I have taken daytime pictures with this app and result is pretty spectacular.

doesn’t work. This app is a scam to get you to watch ads- you have to watch one before and after every picture you take. I wouldn’t care about the ads if the app even worked lol but it doesn’t, it’s literally a joke. I wish I could upload the string of solid black photos I took with this app before deleting it.

Great app for dark. This app is the best I have used thus far. It is completely insane to see how in a dark dark room without adequate lighting your pictures will turn out bright and clear! They look like great shots. They do not look like you took the pictures with a phone running a night vision app that makes everything look green.

Good!. It's good, however I've had not too much success taking pictures of stars, it can let you keep taking pictures while your phone's camera app won't let you due to storage shortages too

Great App for quick pics. I have purchased several low light and camera apps. This one is much simpler to use and enables you to take photos much quicker. Easy interface and the low light filters work quite well although with fewer features from lite version. Would be very nice if they added option to use another device to view camera view and use as a remote shutter so I can allow shutter to sit and adjust without having to screen capture button or volume button, which causes a little movement and decreases photo quality while taking by hand. But is very good app.

Does push the camera beyond what default camera lets you. The app does let you increase the brightness further than the default camera app does while taking a picture

Really good app!. This app works great! It’s not night vision but it at least brings up the bright sensitivity so a small light such as a lighter or flashlight, which is provided with app also, lights up the whole area. I’m currently working on a project and this is perfect for it! Thank you for this app!

Idiotic and flawed. Once you open settings you can't close settings to take the pic. App shuts down after taking only one pic. Ads pop up while trying to frame a pic and your have to close the app and start over to get them to go away. An absurd waste of time.

Complicated. So I am writing this review before even really trying anything because I can't see anything with the review box in the way. Should at least give you an opportunity to try it before you have to write one. I'm sure it's a great app hopefully I'll find out soon

Dev fixed offline bug but app still tracks a lot.. The app wouldn’t start when offline, I thought it was insistence on serving the ad but it was just a bug. The ads are through Google and they collect a seemingly excessive amount of data like location and usage, as well as using cookies and other fingerprinting. I don’t think I’ll be using this version anymore but I appreciate the dev for fixing the bug.

Works exactly like it should. Very good for taking dark pics. Free and takes as good quality pictures as you’d expect for an iPhone camera in the dark. Would definitely recommend

Night Camera/Night Camera HD. Worked great for a few and I bought the HD version. Worked three days before IOS put out 13.5.1. Hasn’t worked since. Opens, setup your shot, take the picture and it goes back to the default iPhone screen and picture is nowhere to be found. Wrote to author.. No response.

No difference. Took a pic with built in cam then night cam and saw barely a difference. Worked just fine though with no problems but I feel like it's a needless second Cam.

Definitely worth downloading.... For a night camera this is one of the best I've found out there and it's free, well sorta free.... Tempted to pay the three dollars just to get rid of the annoying adds. I guess just like everything else in life, nothing's really ever free is it? We end up paying one way or another, so might as well pay for self convenience.

So why still getting ads?. Only gave it three stars because settings included a 99 cent option to remove ads, I paid it, yet still have an ad shoved in my face every time upon starting the app.

Difficult. Excited to use the app and started taking pictures in low light. When I went to look at them, I could not locate them anywhere on my phone or the app. Sent numerous emails asking if there’s a setting I needed to do or something but I have never received a reply. I will change review if and when things change and I can actually see the pictures I have been taking.

No video capturing?. Great app, but it would be better if videos can be taken as well. The app only takes photos, which is a let down. Update the app!

Let there be light. It’s a very good quality for the mobile app

Awful. If it was possible to give a lower rating I would. I downloaded the app to take a picture of the moon and the pictures from the app were worse than the pictures I used without the app.

Sad really. I wanted this app to work. I read reviews and compared it to other apps and I wanted this app to work. I thought “I have a brand new iPad Pro with 512gb of memory. Surely with all of the quality photo and video apps available now I should be able to offload some of my workload to it.” I really wanted this app to work but it was in fact a colossal fail. Please don’t walk but rather run away from this obviously flawed application if you have an iPad Pro and are running iOS 12.3.x. Again I wanted it to work and I thank my stars that it only cost me 99 cents and about 2 hours of checking and rechecking that the issues weren’t on my end of the equation. :(

Don’t bother. I wish I could somehow attach a screenshot of what this looks like in real life. It almost looks like if you use the camera in the dark it just changes the picture to black-and-white and makes it sort of grainy so it’s almost believable if you’re an idiot.

Camera freezes after every photo. Just downloaded this morning in order to test the low light vision. Every photo taken freezes the app, which is disappointing. Had heard good things about this app to the point that I actually paid for it. I think it still has some bugs to work out for iPhone 15.

Amazing!. This camera is absolutely phenomenal, once you get used to using it manual adjustments you can’t beat it!

Only one I've found that works. Almost deleted because the night vision function is turned off as a default but once I found it, it worked fairly well. Constant ads are annoying but that's how free apps work.

Is this app capable of using a Bluetooth remote. Is this app capable of using a Bluetooth remote. I have one but so far have not been able to use it. Night shots are longer exposure and has to be steady or blurry pic. Just by extremely lightly pressing the phone button will jar the pic unless you have it on a timer

Doesn’t work. I spend 5 minutes setting up the perfect shot and every time I press the shutter it crashes. It doesn’t even give me a crash report or anything the app just quits. So.. can’t really rate something that doesn’t function. Too bad!

Amazing!!. Huge low light improvement compared to the native camera app. Only thing missing is a direct link to the photo gallery.

Blurry picture. I was trying to use the app for astronomy and the picture was so blurry and I couldn’t see a single crater on the moon

Nice little app for amateurs. This is a decent app. Totally free which I really like. You can change the exposure, ISO, shutter speed, and add certain filters.

Useless. Pictures are grainy, extremely poor quality, and the camera feature on my camera alone without this app is better...total false representation with how they show how the photos should turn out. Again it useless and not worth the download!

Poor functionality. Closes each time I take a photo. Isn’t saving the photo. When using settings the screens dont close so I can’t even take a picture.

Not working at all. Despite of annoying full screen ads, I thought that the free version would actually work, but it doesn’t. Crash after crash made me delete it.

People r lying 🤥. Don’t trust them. The app pics are fake. They just edited it to look cool 😎 and able to see THROUGH dark and see what lies behind the shadow of darkness that blocks ur vision. My point is don’t even get this app It is a lie that people may think 🤔 dis is good but trust me I’m not a bad guy. Also there r other great apps for night vision. So good 😊 luck. Osris out

Wish I could give it a zero. Opened the app once and it crashed. Since then It never got passed the loading screen not even after deleting and redone loading did it work.

This app is better than most other free versions, bc this one actually has the least ads out of all the (free or “lite”) lowlight camera apps Ive tried, but the paid version would be alot more attractive with video. With iphones today, we can screen record (then clip it later to fit) if we dont have video, on any of our favorite night camera apps, games, videos, etc, and I still plan to get the paid version soon,(one reason is simply bc theyre not shoving as many ads in our faces), but Im hoping that the paid version will have video soon, (for now, Ive gotta download a diff app with video, bc nobody wants to edit screen recordings everytime u take a lowlight video). U could also make an option to watch ad videos and play ad games, etc to earn credits, (like some texting apps provide), then the credits could be used to have access to paid version options, daily, etc, temporarily, based on the number or type of ads, (then, ads would get more attention, making advertising on ur app more valuable $$), then u also could offer the ad free version people could get automatically, (after having the free one for a while), once they looked at a certain number of ads to earn enough credits, offer a free trial (ad free for like 3, 7, 14, or 30 days), or let them save their credits up until they have enough to get the ads removed forever, thats right, offer the full paid version whenever they have enough credits, (ad free and all features), with enough ad credits (earned or purchased). You could make 5-6 times more $ for advertisements than u make now off the ads, AND selling the ad free version combined. People could have more control over when they see the ads, and how many they see in one day, but still see plenty more than are viewed daily now, (and by the time they earned enough credits to get the ads removed, u would’ve made alot more money off advertising than u would've made selling the app for cash anyways), be sure that the number of earned credits required to buy it, are enough to cover it, but not overwhelm the consumer, and u could still make 4-5 times more than the price that’s charged for the app now, all off ad views that people voluntarily viewed, (which will also make ads on ur app more valuable than the ones where they just click off the offer right away, ur customers would watch the whole ad more often, making the ad companies bid a lil more to get on ur app) and since that app could be listed as costing cash or ad credits, it would be a pretty hot app on the market, and other apps could follow suit, Idk why they dont already do that, just like txt/call apps, (those app makers likely knew they’d make more from ad views-for-credits than cash) . Ill do another review after the video feature is added, (or u start to offer a credit earning system), and Ill rate it 5 stars, so will many others
