Worst App for night photography. This app doesn't work at all. The main problem is that the fastest shutter speed is set to 1/15s, which makes this app useless because most of the time you don't have a tripod with you when you only have a cellphone. There is no instruction on how to use the app. A lot of the controls are hidden and it takes a lot of time to figure out where each thing is, very un-user friendly. I have yet got a decent picture with this app. So, if you think that you may use this app to get a good shot of the bright moon. Forget it.

Shuts down. Every time I take a picture, the app shuts down. I’m using a new iPad Pro 2020 model

I FORGOT I HAD THIS APP… i’m a dummy!. I’ve got every kind of camera app you can imagine and have a few “go to” apps in a “goto “ folder. This morning about 5am, I was sitting in backyard just noodlin taking pictures of the night sky with a couple of my “goto@ apps and it just wasn’t working. Then I remembered this app! I pulled it out of my cloud storage and… wild boy howdy! It did exactly what I wanted. The lo-light shots of my dogs sleeping on the patio looked great! Thank you for this app(belatedly). It is now in my “goto “ folder where it belonged!

Doesn't work!!!. I pay $2.99 for this and doesn't work, as soon asI took the picture the app crash all the time , I haven't been able to take not even one picture, I want my money back!!!

Winner. Great for low light. The Exposure adjustment bar is worth the $0.99 alone. Buy it.

Just a few bugs.. All the pictures show a location in China, the app crashes quite a bit, like every time a picture is deleted.

Control ISO. Main thing missing is true shutter control for a higher shutter speed. Still getting a starting point of 1/20 or less to start and cannot go higher for indoors. This speed still gives blurry images as in the Apple app. To fix this you need to give control of the ISO to get a higher shutter speed. No app does this.

Crashes on 6+ iOS 8.1.1. This was my go to photo app for night photography but now it crashes when I try to pull up the photos that I took. I cannot access them within the app. If it wasn't for this, it would be a 5 stars.

Blurry and limited. Exposure controls are too limited. You’ll be disappointed if you expect slr like controls.

Good!. I love the dark light enhancement. Good app. I love the auto light adjust mode really works well.

Daggone nightlight. Half the time the nightlight is nowhere to be found, for when it’s really dark. Frustrating that I paid for this. That’s what I bought it for. It was easily accessible in free version and can’t find it half the time in paid version. It’s great when it works.

Good app with horrible flaw!. Does what it claims, but bug creates a situation where everything in the viewfinder is backwards in portrait mode and upside down in landscape mode on iPhone 5s! Makes using the app impossible, but quick temporary fix of switch between front camera and back camera resolves the situation temporarily!

Surprisingly good!. When you hit the right settings

Misleading. Low light mode works for the cam but there is no video support. Under the icon it said "photo and video".

Complicated. I actually can not say if this app is good or bad. I think this app is for a professional photographer who wants to use their iPhone for nightime pics. It certainly has controls and parameter settings that I would expect in a DSLR camera. But I am a everyday point and shoot man. This is way above me. There is way to much I would need to learn to understand this app. I just wanted a point and click app. But for someone who understands photography you should check this app out.

Great. I have purchased a couple of apps in past and thought this one would be the same. This app has exceeded my expectations!

Not sure if this is better. I bought the paid version because the ads in the free version made it too clunky to use. It's nice not to have the ads, but the paid version does not automatically put the photos in an album, which is very inconvenient. Also, I recently upgraded phones and I don't find that the night photography is necessarily much better than what my built in camera can do.

My Junk Never Looked So Good. Just started playing with it, but so far I'm really liking it. Low-light photography is a passion of mine; the iPhone has potential. This app has big promise.

Perfect! Removes the last reason to use a standalone camera!. Jack-o'-lanterns, Christmas trees, disco balls, the moon, unbelievably true to life and awesome photos! perfect app! You rock!

Okay. I'm a little disappointed in my very top-of-the-line iPad Pro being a device which only supports up to 1/3 second exposures, and my very recently very top-of-the-line iPhone6 being a device which only supports up to 1/3 second exposures. Simultaneously, I'm curious what devices the maker of this product is referring to when it claims 1 second exposures are available on devices that support it. Are they referring to an iPhone 4, perhaps? Has Apple downgraded their camera capabilities? Because their high end stuff certainly doesn't. Or maybe the software producer is just blowing smoke?

Nice quality. Good quality on the camera but latest update just crashes on my iPhone 5. I'll give five stars when it's fixed.

Cool camera. Plenty of settings to play with and the possibilities are as well. Good job!

Very Good!. The app opens in a default mode same as the regular camera. You must go to the exposure button and make adjustments in low light and also customize to your tastes in the settings. The pictures are stored in the app, unless you set the storage location to photos. Fun app!

Great camera…. Camera doesn’t only work better ay night. Way clearer during daytime also. All round better camera than one that comes on your phone…

Awesome and unfairly judged. Obviously the reviews that say this is worthless know nothing about using f stop settings or ISO. With a little practice even a novice can take great low light pics with this app. Apple could learn a lot from this developer! WELL with the money!!!!

Great support for a great App!. I had downloaded the free version and, after being impressed with everything except the ads, I downloaded the paid Night Camera HD version. It worked great until IOS 13.5.1 came down and I saw that the “button” was in the middle of the photo area. When the picture was taken, the App would crash to the desktop without the image being saved. After several sessions with Nico, I reset all settings within the Settings/General/Reset/Reset All Settings section and all problems went away. I’m a very happy old man! I now have the best camera App back!

Well worth the money!!. After downloading the free version first, I was impressed with the possibilities of the app, so I purchased the full version. I took a picture in a totally dark room and after adjusting some settings, I did get a picture that showed the entire room. It wasn’t a totally clear picture, but you could tell what was what. Nice work design team!!

Cool app. I have problems with my hands, so using my SLR was becoming increasingly difficult. This app allows me in some ways to gain control of taking photos.

Awful. I took photos with this and the stick camera app and can't tell the difference. After changing some of the settings to improve the quality the pictures actually looked worse. So you got my .99 cents ... keep it and put it towards RnD. It needs it.

Caméra HD. Les photos sont souvent floues en mode png. Ses pour cette raison que je l'ai téléchargé vue que je suis passé à Apple mais caméra fv5 sur Google fonctionne mieux surtout quand vient le temps de zoomé les photos. Pour le reste une bonne applications. L'interface est super belle. Manque juste le support raw. Peut-être les mises à jour vont-ils l'apporter

Blurry. The iPhone camera is superb. No need to get this app. If you use the zoom the pictures turn out blurry. Useless buy. For my money this app is a total waste. Sorry. Not recommended!
