Cisco eReader Comments & Reviews 2026

Not ready for prime time. What a piece of garbage. Repeatedly required reauthorization due to 'device deregistered' error when nothing has been deregistered. Not a single hyperlink in the eBooks I have lead you to relevant - or any - information. They're apparently just for show. Cisco should be ashamed of themselves for this worthless app. Get it together.

Junk. This app constantly locks up on me. I've had to reinstall it several times as it will randomly get stuck in a "loading" state on a specific page. Once that happens, I can't fix. Restarting the app or my iPad only brings me back to the same page and it goes into perma-load again. When it does work, the multiple choice questions don't score. You just select a radio button and move on. Do this for about 20 questions then go through the answers, one question/slide at a time. Finally, the general loading and flipping through pages makes the interface feel as if it's decrypting a 2048-bit algorithm for each page. What a joke!

App never loads any content.. No content becomes available. "Loading... Please wait" message stays on screen the entire time. Waited for 30 minutes and nothing happened.

After one sign on ... APP Crashes. This is a bad Cisco app that does not allow you to login to pull up your student Manuals for review or study. You pay 4-5k for taking a class and want to review or read the student manuals that you have and can’t even do with this app. You are restricted to be sitting on your computer to look at the student manuals.

Lots of work needed. I’m not able to use my iPad Pro pencil to highlight and write in margins. Very limited functionality to take notes The app is cutting off paragraphs at the bottom of the page and there is no ability to scroll down further. A very poorly designed app making it useless for reading on my iPad.

Screen always shows blank on m1 ipad pro. I am unable to use this program on my ipad. Whenever I try to load up the books from my account, they only display white so I am unable to read any of the books. Please fix this app as I have books from 10k worth of Cisco classes that I can’t read now.

Pretty useless. No information on how to obtain login info. Useless without login info.

Garbage e-reader. This horrible e-reader is made only worse by the fact that it’s the only way that you can have portable access to the material provided to you from their overprice training programs. The absent customization options for text size and background colors are bad enough, but the flaky nature of the “highlight text” button that makes using this app a truly frustrating experience. Countless times I have gone to highlight text, only to have the button required to finish the highlight feature, either not spawn at all on the screen or spawn off in the margin where you can’t even click it accurately without an Apple Pencil. Very poor product from a very large company.

Annotations tools required. I would like to suggest that the reader should have basic annotation tools like underlying, highlighting so that it gives a good reading experience

Total garbage. Crashes flawlessly every time I try and login. Waste of my time. Release ebooks like honorable people instead of forcing your trash software on us.

I feel like I’m being punished for taking a Cisco-authorized class. I can only access my course material through this app, which is limited. I literally only use this app for one document. I cannot add this document to my library and use it like every other document I have. This app doesn’t even seem to be available on the iPhone, which is ridiculous.
