Soldier Forms and Documents App Reviews

Pretty useful!. I just discovered this app today. I tested the email function; it’s working for me on my iPhone 11. I agree editing or duplicating previously saved forms would be useful. In the absence of that function, after emailing the pdf to myself, I was able to open from my email into adobe fill & sign and continue editing. Not an elegant solution, but still easier than waiting for a free computer or hand-jamming. I would also like to add some of my own most frequently used army forms, e.g. Packing List 1750 or Request for Issue / Turn In 3161. I’ll try emailing the developer, maybe they can add them. Overall, I’m happy to pay a few bucks to have these forms on hand and fillable.

Needs work, great potential. This really is a valuable app. It offers many very useful tools, and the ability to work straight from your phone is more vital than ever. A major improvement would be if you could edit saved forms. When you save a form it is locked. It would be better if you could make a form and then edit it later such as if you want multiple Soldiers to receive the same counseling. Also, their are some bugs with changing from drop down to keyboard. Be careful not to loose your work just because you opened a drop down option.

Cool app. However,. Love the idea of this app. Excellent to have in the field and need a form. It saves the forms, which is great, but it won’t let me set up an email account to email and store them. Plus the DA5165-R closes the app every time I try to use it. Please fix these issues. I really like the app,

Good app but. It's a good app and is easy to use. The forms email and look like they were filled out on pure edge. Only suggestion I have is that the screen doesn't rotate so if your using an attach Bluetooth keyboard it would be sideways. Hopefully with an update it can get fixed. Either that or I'm using it wrong. Would of given it a 5 if it wasn't for that.

Great App. This app is so helpful. Some of the most used forms at your fingertips! Little hard to use on a phone because of screen size but it is useable and not hard to navigate! This comes in very handy for me being in the National Guard since I usually only see my soldier two days out of the month. ***Note to editors: counseling form (DA FORM 4856) needs to be updated. A new form was published in JUL 14***

App don’t perform as promised.. Great app if it could/would scan docs. Or take pictures of my military documents. It’s great to be able to write up other documents. And email them all in one swoop. But adding paper documents to digital it isn’t here. Buyer beware.

HOW DO YOU EMAIL DOCUMENTS!?. I just purchased this app and I can't email anything because I haven't set up a mail account... But there isn't any way to set one up.

Update forms. There is a new DA Form 4856 dated July 2014. The one used on the App is August 2010 and is no longer acceptable.

Needs a update ....... are you willing to sale this app?. Great app needs a update to send to emails etc.

Idk. Save and email button never works

Middle Ground. I can’t say this app isn’t useful because it is. It still missing a bunch of useful forms. Example: DA 2166-9, DA 3355, DA 348…that is to name some good ones.

Edit DA 31. You can’t edit forms after pressing save and email and I think you should be able to. It would come in handy when you make an error.

Update. I love this app but can you please update the forms to current as of today’s Army DA forms!!! For Example NCOER: 2166-9

Great layout but needs updating. The forms on here are out of date and not accepted. They need to be updated one example is the DA31.

Great app. Great app could use some improves like when typing it should let you turn your phone and type.

Could be life changing if fixed. If you could make a app just for DA4856 where I could pre write counselings for multiple soldiers, then later open it and edit if needed and hand sign on the touch screen, then save it so I can print it later would be awesome. I mean this app is almost there...

Form will not work. When I try to use the DA 5165-R it shuts down the app.... please fix this issue

FORMS. Sure do wish you could sign the forms in the app and also allow for landscape mode on the DA FORM 2062

Great app but..... Hello so I love the help of this app for keeping soldiers records updated easily, but the I love me book scan feature in that part of the app never appears. I’ll go in to that part and the scan option is not available so I can’t have an I love me book

Awesome app. APFT cards in a pinch! Use it all the time.

I thought the NCOER was coming soon?. If you guys really want to make money and support the military, add NCOER and the checklist. You also need the 638 (awards form). Those would make these a must have for all leaders. As is, the app is not really worth the money.

Needs work. It’s a good idea but u can’t email at all like nothing an that’s the main purpose for me was convince but the save an email button for me doesn’t work

Email doesn’t work.. I can’t email any of the forms.

Great Idea but poorly executed. This app has a good baseline to be a great app for military leaders. Downfalls are: you can't print from the app. When I hit the export button it shuts the app down. You can not save a document to reopen it to make corrections.

So much potential wasted. This app is severely underdeveloped and I just wasted me money. (Only $3) but the point is there are free apps that can do so much more than this in other areas. The list of things wrong with this app:1. There scanner doesn’t even work at all. Only lets me make a folder and doesn’t allow me to add files to it. 2. There’s only 10 DA Forms on it and one of them just force closes every time you use it. 3. They haven’t updated this app in YEARS. If the developers put actual time into this and made the UI easier to navigate and actually added many more DA forms (the name of the app) and not just the typical it would be well worth the money.

Love it. Love the sign by hand feature.. No more headache of CAC reader and laptop while on the go

Dropbox compatibility. I like that it saves my completed forms in the app and that I can email. But would it be possible to have the ability to save to Dropbox? I'm trying to send my emails of my counselings to my Dropbox and it's not working. Am I doing something wrong? Suggestions?

Why are all documents locked?. I am very unsure why the documents are locked after I email them to myself. I paid for this app thinking it would make it somewhat easier to do paperwork but it put me back at square one with a little less money.

Seems like it could be great. Can't seem to get the key board to go away when you click on a section that has a drop down menu. Makes it to where I can't use the app.

Good start. I like the fact that I can emails myself documents in the two formats. I would like the NCOER and NCOER Support forms.

Needs the ability to edit. Love the app has great possibilities but the one downfall I see is the fact that you cannot edit your saved PDFs would be very nice if you could reopen and revise

Not helpful. I just filled out a 4856 and tried emailing it to my gmail and military account. It let me click send, but it did not send. It glitches after hitting send and then nothing. Please Help.

More forms. Love this app use it almost everyday! Could be better if it had more forms like a DD 1750 since I needed it today. But basically it's a great app very useful just needs more forms.

Needs an upload feature. It's great that I can take pictures of the docs I want but it would also be useful to be able to upload files.
