Accurate results in no time at all!. Works in a flash, seemed almost too easy, to good to be true. I'm going manually over results b/c it's my first time using-I've over 1,000 contacts so will take some time, but 1/3 way through and so far 100% accurate. Unbelievable timesaver. I somehow acquired a glitch in my phone that created over 9,000 duplicates to a contact. Phone would constantly lockup and deleting the duplicates one by one would take several months. With this cleanup app, my duplicate problem is resolved, my phone functions correctly and my frustration with this issue is gone. Thank you so much!

Saved my sanity. I just deleted 500 contacts in 5 seconds. I was trying to delete the one by one and was just too frustrated so I downloaded this app and it took me no time to delete those annoying contacts with no numbers. I deleted them for free but they do want you to upgrade to merge your contacts.

500 to 50 in minutes!!. I love this app. I ended up having almost 500 contacts on my phone after I logged my Apple ID into another persons phone. Our contacts had combined. I tried to select and delete the contacts individually but it was overwhelming. I found this app after doing some research and it saved me so much time. It literally took me a couple minutes to delete all those contact. Huge time saver.

OMGosh It actually worked!!!. I was leary about doing this but after upgrading my phone and having all of my contacts quadrupled (4) to sextuplets (6) I had to try something! After the upgrade I now had over 5500 contacts. I had used a program years ago that was awful and made things worse but this was quick, easy, and efficient! THANK YOU!!

Can easily move contacts within accounts. Was easily able to move contacts stored on my phone in an old work account I no longer have access too. Now they’re all in my gmail account and it took less than 5 minutes !

AMAZING, best app I’ve used in a long time!. I had over 350 contacts that have pulled up over the years. The Apple contact app is so poorly thought out and as we all know how annoying it can be to click thru every contact and scroll down to the bottom to hit deleted. It was so nice to with a tap of a button import my contacts, auto merge duplicates, and bulk delete over 200 contacts which all automatically updated to my contact app! It feels so good to have these organized and was so EASY! I really feel like I somehow cheated the app company for such a great free service. Incredible.

What are you talking about, this is a great app !. I’m not sure, but as I have experienced it, contacts are a real pain, primarily, for me, they were replicating. I couldn’t find a work around. I thought I could do maintenance in apple I cloud. I am not sure but there is this read only hump I could get over. Also, I think there was an error with Microsoft contacts. Anyway, this little gem helped be get over that hump. It is still not solved completely but this helps a lot.

Upgraded to pro to automate the merge didn’t work at 1st. The manual merging of duplicate contacts works fine in the free version but I have too many to do each one manually. So I upgraded to the pro version but when I Auto merge & it says completed. When I refresh or look at my contacts list, the duplicates are still there. So waited & tried again then it finally worked. So if the auto merge doesn’t stick for you, wait & retry.

Surprised and Satisfied. Did exactly what I needed, merged my contact list from 6 accounts, allowed me to merge the data from all accounts into one single contact. For example. 3 account had the contact name and cell but the other 3 accounts had a combination of emails, addresses and birthdays until I merged. After the merge, I have 1 contact with all of their info and I don’t see their name 6 times in my contact list. Also, it’s free, I have used two paid apps at my job that don’t do as well as this. The only kicker is that it’s best that the owner does this and not their IT guy or friend. Only you know what information you need.

H - App - y. I upgraded to the iPhone 7 and somehow my contacts (only a mere 1400+) duplicated!!! I was angry that my carrier (leaving them anonymous) couldn't find a quick cure to erase what I am sure was their fault anyway!! So where did I turn - to my 'computer guru' daughter - of course. She found your app, and what was going to take me a month or more to delete one by one, I had done in a couple hours!! I love the younger generation as technology has left me in the dust!! The app provides many options as to how to eliminate the duplicates. I chose the manual way as I still had to link several contacts to get all the info on one contact. It gave me the opportunity to view them on an as needed basis. As I was deleting the duplicates I was able to delete my old contacts, so by the time I was completely finished I had less than 700 real contacts - which I consider a job well done. Sometimes smart phones are too smart for their own good! Thank goodness for your app to dumb them down a little so my generation can feel a little superior to technology!!

Super Quick Clean-up!!!. Thank HEAVENS I found this app!! A few years ago I believe my son synced his Facebook to my iPad and so I’ve had almost 700 contacts of people I don’t know and have tried getting rid of them. This made it super easy and quick to delete. I didn’t use it for merging my contacts but that’s not too difficult to do once you get rid of the excess. So, I definitely recommend this for anyone who has more than a few contacts that need to be deleted. Maybe one day Apple will make it easier without The need for an app!!

I love this app. Firstly, It is the best if you are using an IPhone and you download this app and you have to delete contacts; use this because you would not have to select one after the other before deleting contacts, you could select all contacts at once… I really love it. Secondly, I had deleted so many contacts through this app by September, 2023 and now I really need some of those contacts back and I went to my deleted backups on the app, it even asked if I wanted to restore 🥹 and it brought it out. Thirdly, if you delete contacts through this app, it’d reflect that you had deleted it on your contacts too. Fourthly, You should download this right away; you wouldn’t spend your whole day tryna clear up contacts. It’d be done automatically instead of manually, IOS Users can relate to that, indeed. 💖 Lastly, IT IS FREE.

Best app ever!!. iPhone default contacts app doesn't provide a function to delete or manage several contacts at once. You cannot even select more than one contact. However this app enables you to do that. Also this app allows you to back up your contacts through email, which is much more convenient than iCloud backup, which often not compatible with lower version ios and slow. I definitely recommend this app. Good job developers!!

Wow!. Finally an app that does exactly what it says it's going to do! I had contacts in triplicate on my iPhone 7. I also had numbers that were previously saved in my contacts that were no longer showing up by name. Neither Verizon nor Apple couldn't figure it out. Got this particular app because of all the good reviews. It merged info & cleared out all the duplicates. Easily backed up my contacts prior to cleaning via email. It was easy & quick & I'd highly recommend!

FAQ’s read like tech manual. I was looking for questions asked by users who may have had the same questions I did. Instead it’s a general how to question with a tech manual answer. If you’ve never done the recommended response before, there’s no way to know how to figure find the answer on the app. I just wanted to merge, and delete to come up with a master list of contacts then save that as my main list of contacts. Still trying to figure that last part out. For now, I have duplicate lists under 2 different apps. UGH!!!

This app works great and saved me a great deal of trouble. I don’t know what the other people here may have experienced. Perhaps the older versions had some issues. But this app works exactly as promised. I had over a thousand linkedIn contacts added to my phone book by mistake and none of them had any email or telephone numbers. According to apple, outlook and LinkedIn I had to identify and remove them manually which was an impossible task. With this program I got rid of all the contacts with no phone numbers in minutes instead of days. As a bonus I merged all the duplicates and ..... Well worth the 1.99$ spent. Thank you, thank you and thank you.

Awesome App - except one thing… 😥. This app works great, I highly recommend it! Over the years I’ve gathered too many dups to handle myself and Contact Cleanup was the answer. However, there seems to be a a glitches that is really impeding my progress. This takes a solid 5 star app down to 4, and should probably be a 3. Here is the problem. When you open Contact Cleanup it gives you your cleanup stats. (# of contacts duplicated, phone numbers, emails etc.)… next you go review the duplicates, and it gives you the option to merge them. Before I merge a contact I want to review the 2 dups as well as the merge result. When you click to review any of them there is no way to get off of the review screen other than to completely close the app and restart it. Please tell me if I’m missing something so I can change my review! I’m on an IPhone 11 Pro, fully upgraded.

Ok but be aware. I paid for the in-app purchase and then used this on one of my family member iPhones (where I am the head member and pay for all apps) to cleanup their contacts list and it worked great. I then Tried it on my phone but the app wanted me to pay for in app purchases again which is ridiculous. The app stated it was family sharing but it isn't for in-app purchases and it's misleading. Apple needs to make the app developer state that it's not for family sharing as in-apps purchases can't be shared. If an app is free to download family sharing shouldn't matter as its free. I feel app developers are taking advantage of family sharing and downgrading their apps to free by removing capabilities and adding them as in-app purchases that can't be shared. Which is fine but it needs to be clearly communicated by Apple that the in-app purchase aren't part of family sharing. If I knew ahead of time or it was categorized clearly I wouldn't have bought.

Great app - but it does cost $2. This app did exactly what i wanted it to do within a minute. I went from 2-3 duplicates per person down to just one contact per person. I had to run it twice to achieve this result, however. Just be warned that it costs $2 for unlimited automatic cleanup (otherwise you would have to do each set of duplicates yourself). Great app!

Love it!!. I recently changed careers and had over 400 contacts in my phone.. took only minutes to delete everyone I didn't need. Then it allowed me to go through the rest sort by those without phone numbers or email address... so easy. Thank you

The best contact cleaner of all. Anyone who has tried to clean up emoji contacts knows what a pain it is. "Use the emoji app" we are told. "Go to iCloud" we are told. None of it worked for me, but this little gem lets you delete hundreds of contacts at a time, It lets you find duplicate contacts, contacts without phone numbers, without email addresses, by groups, and so on. It's a "must have" for anyone with a cluttered contact list!!

Deep Cleaning. This app does a wonderful job of getting rid of all of your unwanted contacts. I was able to quickly organize and eliminate the contacts I didn’t need anymore. It is a helpful tool for keeping your phone a lot more organized.

Best $2 of my life. My work email constantly adds copies of my contacts to my iPhone, to the point I had 3,300 contacts when most were duplicates. I downloaded this app, paid for the Pro at $1.99, and in less than 60 seconds I had an appropriate 1,400 contacts because they aren’t duplicated anymore. I’m in heaven.

It’s okay. This app was quite useful as I had over 5000 contacts I needed to delete, I had tried to delete them one by one but that got tiring quick so I downloaded this app once I heard it would let you delete them much faster. The only reason I am giving this 4 stars instead of five is that once I “finished” the app told me I had only about 30 contacts, which were the ones I wanted to keep, but once I went back to my regular apple app for contacts, there were still so many more, I refreshed this app and instead of 30 I had 1200. So I had to do that all over again, but other than that and the constant nagging for a review, it’s pretty okay.

Bait and switch. What is offered here, would be useful and Save me a lot of time. However, you go through this process of getting ready to merge everything and then a pop-up comes up wanting you to join the “Premium” Service. So you invest time, which ends up being wasted and less you want to pay. It would be nice if developers were honest and put their product out there honestly. I think they would be surprised that if people knew up front with the deal was they would do just as good. These people got One star only because I couldn’t give him zero. Stay away from these scammers. If you want to do it manually, you wouldn’t of wasted time to download the app in the first place. WASTE OF TIME!!!!!

Massive Time Saver. I ended up with two duplicates for each number in my contact list when I switched to my new iPhone. It would’ve taken me hours upon hours to fix the problem, but this app took care of it in seconds. I wish it was free, otherwise it would be perfect. However, it worked well and saved me so much time for $1.99, so I’m pretty happy!

Gets the Job Done. It’s weird that something as simple as a selection screen isn’t available in the base contacts app, but this app takes care of that easily. I was able to delete old contacts and my duplicates super quickly with no issues.

Amazing!. I had so many duplicate contacts from imported from another app. I could never just scroll through my contacts to find someone. I couldn’t go through each to delete because there were thousands. I tried multiple contact clean up apps and they would all freeze and not work for how many I had. This app WORKED! 🙌🏻 And it worked fast with no glitches! Highly recommend!!!

So fast!. Worth every penny! I use YouMail and my biggest complaint is the duplicates the program creates in my contacts. Plus, I had duplicates from inputting contact data in different ways (ie Eye Doctor, Dr. John Smith - Optometrist, Eye Doctors Inc). This app cleaned up all my duplicates in under a minute. It also let me manually choose several that should not have been duplicated. Why doesn’t this feature come free with every phone???

Awesome Awesome Awesome. So smart and so well thought. Easy and safe. You will think this is the author writing this but it isn't. Best $1.99 i have ever spent. Apple should buy their company and hire the developers to fix all of the iOS products. Literally took 3700 contacts from skype whatsapp phone and gmail and consolidated them into a real 1500 unique contacts in seconds. You can also manually merge by clicking on multiple contacts and click merge. Asks u to back up and emails to u from the get go as well. Great ap.

Order from Chaos. After 6 years of sharing contacts on our iPhones I needed a way to reduce duplicates and contacts with missing information. Using this app it took me less than an hour to clean up,merge and delete over 2000 contacts down to below 1600. Then my hubbie lost his phone and i was able to simply backup the contacts and send to him. This app saved my sanity!

I had shared my iCloud with my god sister ( I knew stupidest idea ever!) and she added 100 new contacts I didn’t even know who they were ! Good app - has potential to be great. Paid for the pro version. Still nags for a review though - gets to be very annoying. I have a total of 5 sources of contacts (wish iOS would give you option of which source you want to add new contacts like it does with calendar entries) and I’ve already asked the developer to give a “friendly” name to the Accounts within this app - such as “Gmail”, “Yahoo”, “iCloud” or otherwise - would make the move between accounts easier and faster and make the app for intuitive in the process. Otherwise, once you get used to the flow and nuances of the app, it does what you want it to do. Luckily, it even comes with a built-in backup/restore which was handy when I accidentally deleted 80 contacts when I thought it was a single contact! Hoping the developer keeps working on this app, it is good and could be great!

Took seconds and it would have taken forever. I had my contacts in the cloud for years each phone I got three over all those years say 28 years of contacts duplicated every single one and you all know that you have to click on one contact edit it and delete it one by one and I seen this happen boy oh boy $1.99 was like the best because it was worth actually $1 million to do that work in less than five minutes so you all you need to download this app if you have a lot of contacts because now I’ll finally have space on my phone and secondly I won’t have to do it and I can spend time looking for more apps have a nice day all and to the developers I want to thank you very very much from the bottom of my heart for making this app and putting all your time into it and giving it to us for a very very cheap price I will share this app with all my friends have a nice day again

Does exactly what it says it does. I’ve been on iPhone since the very first, so after all that time of new phones, reformats, different mail accounts, new phone numbers, etc., my contacts were pretty bloated. Sometimes 4 or 5 versions of the same person. In just a few min got everything cleaned up and organized.

Merged Wrong!!!. I’m not quite sure what caused this to happen but I had contacts with the same home address but different names and different mobile numbers. For example, husband with an address the same as his wife but different mobile numbers for each other. Well this app merge them all together into one contact that contained only one of their names. I don’t know how they determine what name to choose but now I am having to go back and restore all of my old contacts. Unless it’s something I did wrong, I would not recommend this application.

Great product. I’ve tried about five different of these apps over the last two or three days even try to find out if there was an iTunes option. This program works fast. Some of the others are very slow. This I was able to manage my contacts in about 15 minutes

Great App. If you have ever tried to delete contacts the "old fashioned" way using the iOS contact app, then you'll really appreciate what this app does. It uploads your contacts to their app in a flash, then it allows you to delete them almost as fast as they uploaded. Also has a duplicate contact checker as well which comes in handy to. Does exactly what it says it does and does it well. A strong 4 1/2 stars out of 5 for these guys. Thank you! Time-saver!

Somehow took off the names from my contacts. First of all, beware, there is NOTHING this app will do until you pay. It is not a free app. Purchased this a couple weeks ago to clean up duplicates. Initially it seemed to have done so, but denuded the contacts' names. Example: started getting texts from telephone numbers without any of the names attached. After repealing the duplicate merge, and performing the back up -- things are still pretty funky. For some reason now the phone is mistaking one person from another (closely-related) person, for instance if I ask Siri to send a text to "Joseph Alexander", it will get the text ready but have it addressed to a separate contact, "Harold Alexander". Now mysteriously also can't find certain of my contacts' details. If I try to send an email to "Joe Jones" it will say "I don't have email address for Joel Jones", but in contacts, there it is. This has never happened before using this app and on doing it. Something screwed up. I had sent an email to the creator of the app, but I have not received any reply. I should have spent more for a better app.

It helped me a lot!. I decided to set up my new phone as new (not from backup) and my contacts were a mess. I was trying to figure out a way to fix it and this app helped me merge some contacts (I had 4-5 times the same contact) and identify which contacta were in a different account so I could move them. Now I have all my contacts in one place and not duplicates. Really happy

So conveninent. I got an iPad that I my mom used a while ago and when I switched to my iCloud account it carried over all the contacts so I was left with all the contacts on my phone too. She had like 8,000 contacts from animal clinics because she works in the veterinary field and I couldn’t delete them all and all the other apps I tried you have to pay to delete over 10 at a time. This app is so useful and quick to use

Recommend. I have had the non-pro version for a couple of years and I’ve been pleased. I had somehow duplicated my entire contact list and ended up with a few thousands contacts I was manually consolidating. This really helped me save hours of work. I’ve kept the app because I like to keep my contacts tidy. This app can quickly tell you duplicate phone numbers and email addresses. A real time saver. The only thing it doesn’t do well is transfer titles well when you merge contacts.

Exactly what I needed. My iPhone died and the Apple Store tech had to erase everything to turn it back on. When I used the iCloud to restore my phone, I got EVERYONE'S contacts (I share an iCloud account with a few family members). I needed a way to delete a mass amount of contacts, while keeping the ones I wanted. This was absolutely what I needed.

As intended. For various reasons had many contacts duplicated six times on my phone, and the app fixed them immediately. Droid phones do this automatically for no charge, but still glad I could get rid of duplicates on my iPhone for $1.99.

Ama-zin. This is one of the best apps I have ever used!! I was given this phone by my mom and she had like 1000 contacts. I started deleting them each one by on until I got to like 300 contacts. That took me over a month. Finally, I got tired of that and I decided to do some research. I found videos on how to delete ALL. Then, I looked at how to delete several contacts at once and a whole bunch of apps popped up. I wasn't sure I believed this app soi downloaded it for a try. Then, I did the action. This is the part that surprised me. In less than a minute, I deleted those contacts I didn't need to get me down to 62!!! I am so excited about this app. Download it!!! And sorry for spelling mistakes. I am only using one finger to type this so try to read it as if it was typed properly.

BEWARE! I would give this app a zero star if possible. I had very high hopes for this app after reading all of the positive reviews. My issue was that I had (obviously) duplicate listings after adding contacts from different sources- I.e. FB, LinkedIn, manual entry, etc. When I used this app to recognize and merge duplicate contacts, it erased many contacts completely (strangely, it seemed to target some of the people I most frequently communicate with), and for others, my texts would be labeled “Maybe: [contact name],” even after I would go into the contact and manually correct the contact. The app purports to allow you to undo and changes made, but this feature did not work either. I wrote an email to their help department (of course they do not provide any phone number) regarding my issue and distress over paying even the small amount for the full version, and received ZERO response. Thankfully I had backups of my phone on iCloud, and was able to restore my contacts. Interestingly, I had to go back several days before I purchased the product in order to get a fairly correct list of my contacts, and EVEN THEN, some contacts that I knew were in my phone prior to the use of this product did not come through. My concern is that I happened to notice this because I was actively engaged with a couple of the contacts at present. I have no idea how many others were affected or corrupted by this app. Please beware of using this product and spending $ on it.

Spectacular!. I paid the little bit of money to get the automated help and quickly reduced my sloppy 12,000+ contacts to about 1200 tidy ones. I had to fiddle around a little to completely clean up the last 30 or so, but the result was worth the effort. Note that it keeps thorough backups, so it's easy to reverse if you need to (I didn't). I am one very happy customer!

Great app but has some flaws. Great app and pretty easy to use but has some annoying things such as the "how do you like our app" message constantly popping up every 5 clicks or so and it intermittently jams up or shuts down losing all of my last edits. Very frustrating! Other than that it is a good app.

Does what it says!. Happy as Larry with this app! This should be part of the iPhone’s out of the box utilities.

Doesn’t merge all fields?. Be careful if you have notes or other fields such as company name or job descriptions in your contacts. It did not bring these across in the merged contact details. While I was able to recover the contacts, it also retained the new contacts meaning my duplication issue has just gotten worse. I have contacted the developer with the hope they could assist but have received no response.

Paid for full access. App works fine up until I want to use a full access section - I want a refund now

Colossal failure. My work phone had multiple duplicate entries, so I backed up the contact list within the app and merged my contacts. This resulted in a large number of contacts being removed or corrupted, and extra entries added. Restoring from the backup did not work, with manual rectification of the contact list required. This review based on iOS 11.0.3 and the full/paid version of the app.

Good cleanup app. I use iPhone contacts and another advanced app that allows me to sync the two and the second app lets me record additional I have to the contact. Sometimes I don’t find a match when I’m looking to add extra info and thus create an extra record. I have over 4.500 records. This cleans up the duplicates quickly

Great app to merge duplicates. After trying a number of apps this one works a treat. Easy to use and filter by various issues. Can select by duplicate names in the first instance which is what I wanted. Some apps I tried didn’t use this as the primary filter which would have then caused different contacts with the same phone number to merge - not what I wanted! This one does the job very well and it’s fast.

In-app purchase took money, didn't unlock.. I paid for the Pro upgrade, but when I try to use the copy contacts feature, it just asks me to buy it again. Restore Purchase button tells me "Success" but still can't use the "Pro" functions that I paid for. Waste of money. I don't know how request a refund.

It does merge contacts but.... I used it a while ago and it deleted all my companies and contact note fields in my contacts. Kinda a big deal in my occupation.

Not good to manage multiple accounts. It may be fine when you are working with only one account, but this apps is really not appropriated as soon as you are managing several accounts. - Can’t select which account you want to put the merged contact in (you can just define 1 default account for all your merge coming from multiple accounts) - Account are not designated by their name, but just by the server type (ex: EXCHANGE) => therefore not possible to know which “Exchange server” you are working with as soon as you have more than one. - Text for some command (Edit, Back,…) is written light grey on white… almost not visible.

So far so good.. Way more efficient than spending 3 days deleting them on your own and who knows they might just come right back. For those who gave this app one star because it costs money! I would like to give you 1 star because the apple App Store has a filter option and provides your type of people, cheap, penny pinchers, stingy, pathetic is my true thoughts on the nature of actions that represent the terms I just stated! It’s $2.50 and it’s works like a charm, tons of options and saves your hours and hours. If you purchase an app / it charges your credit card that absolutely is only one parties issue and no other party including apple and or the app designers are responsible for YOU purchasing the App for $2.50 and because of your action you are infuriated, write a horrible a review (which only makes you look terrible), lol but the funny thing is many if you individuals mad for buying an app for a whopping $2.50 unintentionally actually spend the time like I am now writing and calling with only 1 mission and you folks are in serious mode! Stoped working after upgrade to pro. It worked fine at first, relatively easy to use seemed like a good app. I upgraded it and i can not use it since - keeps crashing at startup. Hopefully their support team will get back to me with some suggestions.

Great app and doesn’t require money to work. I tried the free version of Cleaner Pro and it only let me delete 20 contacts. Luckily I found this app before buying Cleaner Pro. All these stupid apps trying to make me pay just to delete contacts quickly smh.

WARNING: Deletes addresses; Slow; Does the job. If you have several contacts and one includes a physical address of someone, it doesn’t merge that information into the new contact - you’ll lose that address (ie this app wont work for you or me). It’s also slow and you have to keep the app open while it works. If you just need to dedup you contacts because you have multiple contacts with the same name and several phone numbers, it’ll do that.

Great app easy to use. Better if you pay. I sat here for almost an hour merging 500+ contacts together, I should have just paid $1.99 for premium. App works well though

Very good app. Makes up for what iPhone had to have in the first place. It’s senseless to go about deleting unnecessary contacts one at a time. The app lets you checkmark as many contacts as you need/want and delete them all at once.

👍🏻. It seems good so far. Verizon techs couldn't help me and finally suggested I try this app. So far it's done all it claimed. I'd give it a 5 if it hadn't stopped me in the first two minuets of use asking for a rating. If I complained it would be because it was so easy to accidentally link contacts without meaning to. I'm not sure how to unlink them.

A M A Z I N G. This app was amazing it helped me delete 927 contacts by pressing 2 buttons I wanted to delete all my contacts cause this is my mum old phone and there’s button you press to select all the contacts then I just pressed the delete button and I didn’t have to pay anything at all!

Awesome!!. This phone was originally my dads, so I was stuck with over 1,000 contacts. It took me about 10 minutes to delete the majority of them. Now I only have 82 contacts in my phone. This app saved me sooo much storage on my phone and was really easy to use. Definitely recommend.

Finally the app I’ve been looking forever!. I have my work contacts and personal contacts and use three diff email systems (long story). This is the only app I’ve found that cleans up dups, backs up and restores. Buy it. It’s worth every penny of your time and effort.

Great App. Apple randomly added hundreds of blank contacts to my phone so I was deleting them one by one. I tried other apps to get rid of them but their features were blocked by a paywall. This app let me delete all of the blank contacts with one click. Definitely recommend it.

Great job. 1200 contacts down to 190. Only two contacts went weird (merged without info). A backup is done before every change so you can roll back to any point in time in case something goes wrong. Backups can also be emailed off the phone.

Major clean up. I hand hundreds of double contacts this did the job with a blink of the eye it was done instead of me doing one at a time wouldn’t of taken hours

This app is legit. Best part is you can sort by duplicates, and also by people you don’t have email, phone number for, etc. Highly recommend if you’re someone who needs to delete a massive amount of useless contacts.

Removed irreplaceable data. Merged all the contacts... and erased all the contact notes. No longer have profile images for any contacts. Restoring the backup it made didn’t bring any of the important information back. Trying to restore from iCloud backup but thus far unsuccessful. This just created even more work for myself and possibly lost data I can never recover. Note to devs: don’t prompt the app survey before you even use the app.

Did not work for me.. My phone has gotten tons of duplicates from outlook. Even though these are only in my outlook once each, they are in my phone two, three, even four times. They are all marked read only in my phone, and although this app identified all the duplicates and pretended like it was merging them, it didn’t change anything in my actual contacts. I did pay for the upgrade and it made no difference.

Stress free clean. This was the best experience. I was so frustrated with the process of deleting my contacts and having duplicates. This app made it so easy. Took me about 3 minutes to delete 500 contacts! I was able to easily select which ones I wanted to delete and merge the duplicates! Genius app! Thank you!

Allowed me to bulk delete contacts!. I had 3000+ contacts to be deleted. The only method at my disposal was to delete them one by one. I did the math, and this was going to be a five hour task. Contact Cleanup let me bulk delete them all, in around 30 seconds. Excellent!

Time saver & Time is Money. I merged about 350 entries saving how many, many hours. If all or even nearly all of these changes are as accurate as I have seen at this time, then this may count among the best ever apps.

Awesome. Recovered all kinds of old pics, mail, media of the family I assumed was gone forever. If I was an 1/8 of as smart it would be outstanding. Hats off to the developers for the free version of this app and I hope that it will be the first app to get a better rating for the iPad version. Top shelf, all day!!!!!

Deleting Contacts - Gift from Heaven. I started deleting duplicates in my contact list and after an hour of accomplishing little besides developing carpal tunnel, I discovered this software. Happy Camper. My iCloud account mysteriously made a separate contact listing for every phone number (work, home and cell) and every email address in my contacts. I had hundreds of duplicate entries. This app worked like a charm on all my mobile devices. Just download the app and it will take care of the rest.

Helped me a lot. I had been wondering for years to get rid of my older contacts and I finally found this app which lets you delete 1000’s of contacts for free. I literally deleted 800 contacts in a matter of 5 minutes.

Corrupts your data. Horrible program. Not sure why so many positive reviews when it totally corrupted my contacts. As many of you know over time when syncing with iTunes you get duplicate contacts. I needed something to remove and or merge these contacts. What this ap did was totally corrupt my data. It merged different named accounts from same company, I now have contacts with 10-12 phone numbers when there was only 2-3. I also have 5-8 emails for same contact. This is the worst so I have ever used.

Solved my problem!. Not sure why but just found out there were hundreds of "No Name" empty contacts appeared in my phone book. Downloaded this app and it cleaned up my contacts momentarily! Also helped merged several duplicate contacts that I didn't notice before. Very good!

Ermuhgod Yesh. I accidentally synced all my work contacts on my cell phone and was dreading having to delete over 4K contacts individually. Into my life comes this app (woot woot). I was able to go from over 4K down to 180 in 5 minutes. Definitely 5 stars, I'd give it 10 if I could 😀

Time saver!. I accidentally got my husband and my contacts mixed when we upgraded phones. We had lots of duplicates and I had a lot of his work contacts. This app made it easy to find and remove the duplicates and was a quick way to delete contacts. Saved me hours!

Beware! Screwed up my contacts!. I started merging some of my contacts, only to find that the app was incorrectly deleting some of the info, and that the Edit function doesn't always work (specifically, doesn't allow deletion of more than one email address in the case of multiple incorrect eddresses being present). It deleted all but one of my Yahoo groups entries, so now I have only one Yahoo group in my contacts--with several dozen incorrect eddresses, because it merged all of my Yahoo groups into one.

Simple, Fast, Amazing. I had over 13,000 contacts with 2900 duplicates. This took maybe 5 minutes to clean up my mess. I am so relieved and I have a perfect address book. Couldn’t be happier, would give them 10 stars if I could.

Some good and some very bad effects. This app helped me merge and delete duplicates, but as others stated, it deleted and merged some wrong contacts! I can’t trust any of the info in my address book anymore. AND SHOULDN’T THIS BE BASIC FUNCTIONALITY FOR THE APPLE CONTACTS/ADDRESS BOOK? Really? For what Apple charges and for being a trillion dollar company, why can’t they provide this functionality as basic?! We have become a very complacent society and we simply accept mediocrity.

RUINED MY CONTACTS & LOST INFORMATION!. If I could give this app less than one star, I would. I backed it up like the app tells you to do. Then it “merged my duplicate contacts,” but really they were still there, then contacts just started disappearing. Don’t get it. Try a different one. Or what I did was export contacts to google and save them there. Then deleted them from iCloud to create a clean slate. Then downloaded the vCard from google after removing duplicates, and added them back to my iCloud contacts. Now everything is great.

Extremely Useful. App works as advertised and WITHOUT any intrusive/annoying ads popping up while using it too. Would definitely recommend this app to manage your contacts if they were a mess like mine.

Best $1.99 spent.. Did exactly what it was supposed to very very quickly, and very easily. Went down from over 4000 contacts to just over 500. I had a very severely duplicated contact list as you can tell.

It’s okay.. The best app for finding duplicates, by far!! But it won’t allow me to email myself the backup. I can compose the email but there is no “send” button anywhere. I saved the email to my drafts by double tapping the words at the top of the page. (Not sure how I figured that out but am glad I did!)

Get all of your contacts in one place. It let me do exactly what i needed it to do. Move all my contacts from various account types into one contacts account. I had some on google, some on exchange, and some on icloud.

Won’t access. When it worked, it was fine. I haven’t used it for a while since I’ve been trying to manage my contacts better. Today I get a message saying that access to my address book is denied. There’s no option within any of the settings to overcome this. right now it’s just a non-functioning app.
