Basic, functional, needs improvement. This needs some work to improve. It does the basic task of connecting to an Instax Share printer, so it works. That said, it’s a bit clunky for an app. It’s a little slow. It hasn’t been optimized for iPhone X yet. For some reason it won’t display Favorites from my photos, but is able to display all the other albums (I had to make a specific “to instax” album, go into my favorites, add the photo to the new album, then go back to the app to print). Lots of room for improvement, and with the release of the SP-3, hopefully that will continue.

Someone please help. I just got the iPhone 11 and I just tried to print some photos on the instax share sp-2. It wasn’t working even though I was connected to the printer WiFi, so I decided to scroll through some reviews and see if anyone else was experiencing the same thing. I continued to scroll to see if there was anything that could fix the problem. I tried turning on the location while using the app thing in settings and it still didn’t work. I tried going to real time template in the app and there was nothing there. I don’t know what else to do and I really want to print my photos. I am so sad that it’s not working so can someone please tell me how I can fix this.

Doesn’t work with IPhone!. $200 later and it doesn’t work with my iPhone 8. What a bummer. I’m getting an error that says “selected photo cannot be used.” We tried on my boyfriend’s galaxy note 9 and it worked with no problems. I’ve connected to it via WiFi and when I go back into the app to print the photo, it gives me the error above and tells me I’m not connected. I updated the version in the app which seemed to connect to the printer and made sure all app settings were checked. Still nothing. Looks like I’ll have to return this printer if this doesn’t get fixed.

Another iOS update another unusable product/app. When it was working, the app and associated printer were great, but that hasn’t been consistent for well over a month now. With the update of ios 13, a break occurred that could be fixed with allowing location access to the app. However with the most recent minor update, the app is again unable to even reach the printer (which is connected to the phone WiFi). Apple offers betas with each of their releases, but this app is still broken. I know the devs read this from time to time, so if there’s a NEW workaround it’d be great to know - otherwise the app needs some major updates.

Printer won’t connect. I just bought the Instax share SP-2 after wanting it for the longest to see complaints that the new update is terrible & that i’m suffering through it too. the app says i need to connect the printer thru the wifi but the SSID for the printer won’t show up. even when i type in the name of the SSID it says it can’t find it. I have an Iphone X & am on IOS 11. i hope this issue is fixed soon & that i didn’t just waste my money

Disappointed. I've wanted one of these printers for such a long time, and when I saw one circulating on a for sale page on Facebook, I jumped on the opportunity. The printer is great! But this app! Hate it. My phone will connect to the wifi but the says I'm not connected. There are some photos in my library that aren't compatible, why? And to top it all off, when I do find the photo that the printer CAN print, it buffers and tells me to try again. Really? This app is outdated and they really need to do some serious re-vamping. (Also I try to print something from Instagram and Facebook, it won't let me? Why have the option if it can't do it?)

Good hardware, TERRIBLE software. A nice little printer (in theory), hampered by an absolute DISASTER of an iOS app. Truly abysmal software. Connecting from my phone to the printer is slow and unreliable. Printing from Instagram is an exercise of intense frustration, since the app will NOT let you queue multiple pictures for print. You end up having to: a) connect to your WiFi to let the app SLOWLY access your Instagram feed, b) select a picture, c) find your usual template since the app cannot be bothered remembering the last template you used, d) disconnect from your WiFi so you can connect to the Printer, which takes forever and does not always work, and finally e) print the picture. Now REPEAT THIS ALL OVER if you dare printing another photo, since you have to reconnect to WiFi to access your Instagram feed once again, thus losing the connection to the printer. It will boggle your mind. Nothing is cached and usability is a joke throughout. After printing a few photos the app just simply refused to access my Instagram account and would display a "Data could not be acquired" error message instead -- no amount of restarting the app or my iPhone would fix that. So so bad, and the app is never improved, you will read one star reviews on the app store that are one year old or more.

If you updated your phone read this!. If you updated to iOS 13.0, Make sure you click Real Time template and allow location services. Otherwise you won't be able to connect to the WiFi for some reason. Works perfectly after you allow location services! Otherwise a useful app for a super fun printer!! I use it to print out photos from YEARS ago and it's fun to see my friend's surprised reactions.

Unreal. Wish I had come to these reviews before purchasing. I can’t get this printer to connect to my (I)phone, so I called support. The guy immediately said the printer has trouble connecting with new iPhones (software). He had one suggestion, “uninstall the app, turn your phone off and back on, then reinstall the app” (which means I lose connection with him/tech support during the process). So I asked him, “if this doesn’t work, is there any other advice you can give me?”, to which he responded “Well that has usually worked in the past”. I tried reading him error messages the app was giving me and he said he was unfamiliar with them, which makes me wonder why he is even answering the phone. It really felt like he was just trying to get me off the phone, I’m guessing he has to deal with phone calls like mine all day if this is an issue with new iPhones. My last question was “Is this the only trouble shooting option I have? As in, I need to just return the product if turning my phone off and on doesn’t resolve my issue?” To which he replied “You could exchange it.” Sorry, but “Have you tried turning it off and on again” is not technical support. It’s a joke. Getting my money back.

It’s okay.... I was able to connect to the printer with my iPhone 6s. I can take photos on my phone and print them and I can also print photos from Facebook and Instagram. It’s kind of frustrating having to make sure I’m connected to the internet to select a photo from Facebook or Instagram but then having to go back and reconnect to the printer to actually print the photo. My main issue is that I am not able to print photos from my photo album on my phone. I get an error that says “The selected picture cannot be used”. This feature was one of the main reasons I purchased this printer. How do I print photos from my photo album?

Not working. I never had a problem with this printer but about a month ago I tried to connect my phone to the printer and it would not work never had this problem before locations turned on photo sharing‘s on everything is the way it supposed to be but it just does not want to connect to the instax SHARE print my photo why is it not working on an iPhone 11 with the updated iOS please get this to work ASAP. I’m pretty bummed that I have a device that I purchased and paid for and I can’t even use it because it doesn’t wanna connect all because of an app.

Awful glitchy app. Wow this is an absolutely awful app. I connect to the printer, which by the way should be a Bluetooth connection, and not wifi (since I have to get off my wifi to connect to the printer, so nothing else on my phone works while I print). After I'm connected the app will not connect and print the photo, even though in wifi settings I'm connected to the instax 'network'. It takes like 5 clicks on "connect and print" and sometimes a couple app restarts for it to finally print 1 photo. And the we do that over again if I walk away, cause the printer turns off so I have to start over again. Seriously people?! This is the product you put out into the world?

New IOS upgrade doesn’t connect to printer. Don’t upgrade your phone to the newest iOS it’ll no longer connect to your phone. I had no problems before that loved the instax printer but in all honesty the developer needs to be more up to date with phones updating their software and making sure the app is staying up to date as well. If not come up with an alternative solution to using the printer without needing the app or something. Bummed out that if this problem doesn’t get fixed I’ll just have to part ways with my instax printers

Great but don’t update your phone!. I’ve had this instax printer since 2015 and even with all the phones I’ve had (Samsung and Apple) I was always able to connect to the printer. Today I updated my phone to the newest iOS version 13.0 and lo and behold I can’t connect to my printer. I have exhausted all of the options to connect it and I simply can’t 😑. This app and printer are great if you have older phones and not the latest and greatest. Luckily for me, this app still connects to my iPad mini 2 that is still on iOS 12.1.4 which is nice but idk if I’ll ever be able to connect this printer to my phone if the developers don’t update it often. I’ve had this printer for so long that it’s become a habit to document my life through the instax photos, but maybe I should look for alternative options if this is going to be an ongoing issue. I pray that this app gets a makeover and makes it easy for us loyal users to keep using it.

Works great for me. So far I’ve had a positive experience with the app. I have an iPhone 7 and the model 2 (recommend that one the most). I just charged it and once it was charged a little I easily connected to the WiFi and everything and printed out some photos which turned out amazing. Haven’t tried adding text or anything but I’m assuming it will look great. Maybe the developers could make it compatible for others versions and phones since other people seem to be having problems though

Still not working. I read other reviews about the app not connecting to the printer and tried the developers’ suggestions... all to no avail. I have: Allowed location services (multiple times) Renewed the lease (multiple times) Forgotten the wifi link to rejoin fresh (multiple times) Reinstalled the app Restarted my phone (multiple times) Restarted the app (multiple times) Allowed cellular when the app asked Tried without cellular when using cellular didn’t work I even looked for a macOS option to see if I could connect with my computer. I know the printer works—it managed one stack of ten—but it took ages to get that going in the first place, and even when it started I didn’t know how it suddenly connected. All I want to do is print my wedding photos to go in my thank you cards. Please help me out with a fix, or find some other way to make this right.

Not connecting to printer? iOS location services on, then restart your phone. Turn on your location services and restart your phone. I was incredibly frustrated when my iPhone could not find the printer. Thanks to other reviews for the the tip about location services. I turned that on but still it wouldn’t connect. Re-launching the app, turning the WiFi on and off, still did not get it to connect. Finally I thought to restart the phone and voila! It worked after that.

Fuji is still a real company, aren’t they??. I’ve been using this app with a share SP-2 printer for a few years now. I hadn’t used it since I upgraded my iPhone recently but just tried it now and I can no longer connect to the printer. In reading some other reviews here I see I’m not the only one. Oh and the instructions they give that says to allow location services while using the app?.....yeah that didn’t work either. How a big company like Fuji can’t put out a functional app that you literally NEED in order to use their hardware is beyond me. Pretty embarrassing really. This has essentially bricked my printer and rendered it worthless. Thanks Fuji 👍🏼

Not compatible with iOS 13 update. Just bought this camera 2 months ago to print all my pictures. Just tried to print pictures today and it doesn’t work. Read through the reviews and it seems that it is no longer compatible with the iOS 13 update. I even followed the developer instructions to enable location services on the app and it still does not work. Instax Developer team, you need to contact the Apple store and figure this out because this is affecting a lot of customers currently. I just got this for my sister as a birthday gift and will be returning this ASAP because it no longer works.

Still works but needs update. I freaked out thinking this app didn’t work with iPhone iOS 13 update, but researched to find Instax website stating: To connect to printer with iOS 13, you need the access to "Location." Please follow the instruction below for the access. Please go to "Setting" in your iOS. Find "Location" at "instax SHARE" bar, and Select "While using the App." If you cannot find "Location," please open "instax SHARE" app. Tap "Real time template" on the app screen at upper left, and select the dialogue "Allow."

Does not connect to phone. Instead share sp-3 will not connect to my phone that has iOS 13. I have tried all the advice of deleting the app and restarting my phone, and have selected to have location on while in the app then touching the ‘real time’ view, and still nothing. Very disappointing for the amount of money these products cost. Software updates should be the easiest to fix and it seems this has been an issue preventing people from using their Fuji film products for months now. Very disappointed in this company and this app. A new update/ to make all this work would make things way better, as the hardware of the printer is very nice. Software just prevents me from even connecting my phone to use it though so I currently have a $150 paper weight. Not happy.

Works for me, but needs improvement. For context: I’m using the app with the SP-3 printer and the iPhone XS Max. Luckily I’m not having any of the connection issues some people had in the past and the printer + app work as expected. The app features are basic but enough for me. Sadly, the app has not been optimized for the iPhone X/XS. I hope to see this done soon. Feature-wise, there is only one predefine template (Limited) and the custom templates (My Templates) only allow text; it’ll be nice to have a selection of “stickers” to go along with it. Also, it was very disappointing to find out that the Photo Split option only splits in two pictures and not in four. Now I need to do my own “pre-splitting” outside the app and then print four individual pictures. As other have voiced, this app is the only way to interact with the printer, so it’s lack of features is perceived as diminishing value for the printer. Looking forward to improvements and more frequent updates.

Doesn’t work with Apple products. If I could, I would rate a fat zero!!! I got this for my daughter for Christmas and it doesn’t even work. Will be returning the product. I wish I didn’t waste a pack of film with it. I wish I read the app reviews before buying the product. I also tried it on an iPad that doesn’t have the new Apple update and it’s still stupid! I wasted two packs of film because it kept saying to load new film. Zero remaining. Like oh my gosh!!! If I could curse on a review I would. This product was not cheap and also the film isn’t cheap!! Save your money and a headache. What a way to ruin Christmas!

Functional, but not fun to use.. It’s odd that an app that is focused on mobile photography can still look like it was made with the iPhone 4 in mind. The general interface is ok and it functions but it just doesn’t make me want to use the app. Which is unfortunate. I feel burdened to use the app to work with the SP-3 printer. Fuji could take some pages out of the Polaroid Pop and integrate some more of those features in this app. Again the app works, but it’s not inviting.

Fix it!. I’ve been having this printer for three years. The printer use to work flawlessly. However, this app ruins everything. Without the app you can’t print anything and this app hasn’t been updated since 10 months ago. I use to be able to print some things as the app wouldn’t download certain photos. Now i can’t print anything at all cause it won’t connect to the wifi anymore. Please fix all the problems with this app. I might just buy Polaroid camera to use the film I have left, but I really hate that idea. Please fix the app!

Not optimized for iPhone X or iPhone 11 Screen and issue with auto shutdown. I have bought a SP-3 printer recently and I found many issues using the app. First, the app is not optimized for use with iPhone X or iPhone 11 screen, in these iPhones appears black bars on top and bottom part of the screen. Additionally, if you use auto-shutdown feature, the app cannot connect to the printer when you start the printer again if you are editing or preparing a photo to print, so you need to go back and you lose your photo edit work :(, please add a shortcut to connect the printer or/and allow save your works on photo editing section.

Works poorly since 12.4 and later. Final Update. Work around for 13.1.2 If SP-2 doesn’t connect, forget the INSTAXSHARE wifi connection (select the circled i in wifi settings to get to options). Delete and reinstall instax share app. First review: Does not reliably connect for version 12.4 and higher (wait for a new version of the app before updating iOS). Have a ton of film I cannot use because of these bugs. Update: Noted issue with the GM and since then Fuji has updated multiple iOS apps but left Instax printers high and dry. They even have software out for the SP-2 replacement. Obviously they only care about new users.

App does work on new iOS!. I read all the reviews for this app and was worried it wouldn’t work since I have the latest iPhone iOS 13.1.2. But decided to buy the printer and give it a try. I used the review advice by daniel97 from Sept 24...keep scrolling and you’ll find it. Just a few settings need to be adjusted on app and your phone. I love polaroids and this is a great solution to replace old school Polaroids. Thanks daniel97 and everyone that posts useful reviews to help with making stuff work the way it’s meant to work.

Weak App, User Interface, and Connection. 1. Can’t connect to your own WiFi while connected to the printer. So you can’t download photos from the cloud or other location at the same time. This should be a blue torch connection, or the printer should be able to connect to my WiFi at the same time as my phone. 2. Errors of “this image cannot be used” for nearly all of my pictures. No indication of why or how to fix it. Had to search forums, and EVERYONE has this problem. Seems it all has to do with the Instax App not interfacing correctly with your photos on your phone. 3. Expensive for the printer and the film and to have all this trouble on day 1 is ridiculous 4. Poor software QA and real world testing with your “average” person. 5. Will be returning and buying Something else. Not because the printer is bad, but because the APP is horrible. Bad UI, bad programming, bad design.

Yet to see. After seeing many reviews on how the app is not connecting, I’ve decided to do some research of my own. Turns out, you have to “forget” your home WiFi and then connect to printer. The app is not connecting because your iPhone keeps trying to find the best network rather than the one you need. One connected, the app and printer work great. Glad with my purchase :)

I understand the low reviews. I’ve looked at a few of the low reviews, and a lot of it doesn’t seem to be with the device itself but the app. SP-3 : Polaroid styled printing, prints and then develops. Color is nice for a miniature printer. The App : I had personally no issue with the app. The only complaint I have is as of right now is that the User Interface (UI) needs massive revamp. It looks awful and looks 10 years too old compared to other apps of today. However it did work so I can’t judge too harshly, it just looks awful.

DEVS PLEASE UPDATE THIS APP!!!. Devs need to release an update as it no longer works with new iOS versions!! 😭😭😭 This app was working just fine until my iPhone 11 updated to iOS 14 and now the app cannot connect to my SP-2!! My phone can connect to the printer’s WiFi fine but then on the app it says not connected on the app/ cannot find printer. I tried every troubleshooting option suggested online and even re-installing etc but still could not get it to connect again. In the end, I figured out that it was due to the iOS version because I dug out my old iPhone 8 (still on iOS 12), installed the app and then reset the printer to factory settings as prompted and violá—it’s printing again!! 🤯 What’s the point of buying an expensive printer if you guys are just going to give up on the app?? It’s been a year since this has gotten an update so I’m really losing hope in getting my SP-2 to print again unless I use an older phone. I prefer the overall sleek aesthetic and shape of the SP-2 but I was planning on getting their new device to keep in my bag until this happened 😡 Clearly they abandoned this version and are focusing on the new app for their Mini Link...if this is the direction they’re going in where they just develop a new app for every release, why would I spend another $100 on a device that clearly still works??

Does not work with iOS 13. I wished for one thing for my birthday, and this was it. I thought it would be so amazing to have a physical copy of my memories. It worked great, everything smooth and how it should be. It was until my phone updated to iOS 13 where the trouble began. I tried everything to be able to print something again, but nothing would work. I don’t have any other iOS devices that are not iOS 13. To the app producers- please please fix this issue. This is a great product and the app worked fine until now. I loved every aspect of it, only the entire thing doesn’t work. This was very expensive, so it would be amazing if this issue could be resolved. I’m sorry for complaining so much, but I really don’t want to waste my parents money just to tell them that it doesn’t work a month later.

No longer works.... still not working. Update as of 10/26. It is finally working again!!!! Update. I tried several times to add the location as well as the real time option! The camera printer still won’t connect! Please fix this! After reading all of the reviews I attempted to try all of the steps that you mentioned pertaining to the iOS update. None of these options work! I have the SP1 and it was working up until now. I am extremely upset by this because I paid $200 for this printer and it used to work great. I love to scrapbook and put the pictures on my wall. This is very upsetting to me.

Temporarily Ok. This app was great and printed pictures very crisp and clearly when I first started using it. Lately, it prints all of my pictures to look like a cheap print and no longer has the definition it used to deliver. When using the app, before editing a photo, the picture is blurry. When you tap edit photo, it’s a crisp photo. Then when you hit done or go back, the photo is suddenly blurry again. Thinking it was just a glitch, I printed anyway. I wasted my expensive film to print a very blurry photo. I deleted the app and reinstalled and rebooted my phone like suggested in the other reviews. This was no help at all. I honestly feel very disappointed because I really loved this product and app together when I first started printing.

Loved it, now useless. Please update the app! I bought my instax printer sp 1 about 2 1/2 years ago and printed amazing photos from this printer. It’s a easy app to use where I can pick and choose which photos from my album I want to print or reprint again. However, nothing works now as I go to reach for my printer. My printer is connected and when I go click print photo- it says the printer is not connected and that I need to update the app but the app is already up to date from what the Apple store is telling me. This is frustrating knowing that my printer is in mint condition because I still keep it in its bubble wrap slip and box when I first purchased and now it won’t print my photos which makes it useless! Plus I had also recently purchased new batteries for this baby which are not cheap. Fix the issue please! I would like to continue to use my printer!!!!

The already abismal app gets worse. Fuji’s app which looks like it is from 2007, poorly designed, clunky, etc... now REQUIRES you to give away your location just to print a picture. This is an invasion of privacy that is in no way justified, Fuji has no business knowing where I am when I want to make a print - and probably selling it to third parties later on. I was hoping they would update the app to make it better, but instead it’s getting way worse. I was tempted to buy a second printer but now I guess I well go back to using a proper printing service instead. You just lost a customer fuji.

Back to 5 stars!. Edit: I have since updated my phone to iOS 13.1.2 and it finally works! I tried to print more pictures again today and now my phone connects to my SP-2! I was able to print out the pictures on my phone without any issues. I read another review on here and she said to allow the app to access your location via the real time template on the app. I tried to do it, but was unable to since I was already connected to the printer. However, even without it selected the connection went through and my instax printed everything perfectly. Glad I took some time tonight to give it another chance! For those who had issues before try this method out! I am so sad that this app no longer works with iOS 13! I just upgraded to the iPhone 11 Pro and with iOS 13 already automatically installed I had NO idea that this app would not work. I tried many times to restart the printer and my phone with no success. However, I tried it on my boyfriend’s phone who still has iOS 12 running and it was able to detect the printer perfectly. I am not sure what I will do once his phone updates... please find a way to make this compatible with the newest iOS. I love using this app to print from my instax SHARE SP-2 and I have no idea when or if this app ever will be updated... the last update was 7 months ago.

Terrible for iOS updates. UPDATE: After following the new instructions in the developers response the app works again, yay! I’ve always been very impressed with the quality of this printer and now the app is working again! The app worked until my phone updated to iOS 13 and now even when I connect to the printer’s wifi network the app won’t connect to the printer. After reading through some reviews I tried looking to see if I could enable location services on the app because that’s what the developers said was necessary to make it work. Go figure - there’s not even an option to turn location services on or off in the app settings. Even leaving a review/comment online was impossible because the website asks you to select the product and it was impossible to actually find the printer. Overall I’m just super disappointed I can’t use the printer anymore - I loved it when it was working but now it’s basically useless.

Printer is Great! App is Horrible. My printer works great and the app gets the job done, but it’s very clunky to navigate. This is shocking considering it’s the only way to send photos to the printer and it has been in use for several years. There needs to be more photo quality editing. I would like the banners to be easier to find and the ability to put cute stickers on the photo, like a nice photo booth. The app should connect to the phone settings smoothly so that you can connect to the printer using WiFi easily. All together, the user experience is confusing and non intuitive. Given that I’m adept with computers, this is unacceptable. Overhaul this so I can do nicer photos please!

App not connecting to Printer - SP-1. Much like the recent reviews, the app won’t connect to my printer even though location services are on, local network is on, and all settings that I’ve googled are on. I’ve had this printer for 6 years and only now it’s not connecting. It’s most likely due to the iOS updates which is why it’s incompatible now. The printer is in good condition as I’ve kept it that way for so long. It’s definitely Fujifilm for not updating. It’s ridiculous that they have so many apps for each of their devices rather than invest in having only 1 in which all devices can be used through their one app. Pretty disappointed since I can’t revert back to old IOS softwares.

Could be worth 5 stars without this unacceptable issue. The recent iOS revealed that in order to print, this app requires to know my location. Besides the absolutely terrible user experience of enabling the location, the fundamental question is: why on earth would you need to know where I live in order to print???? Doesn't privacy mean anything to this company? If the answer is anything else than "ooops that's a bug, sorry, we're working hard to correct it", then that's a 2 star app

App wouldn't connect to printer!. Ever since I updated my iPhone to iOS 10, my app stopped working and I haven't been able to use my printer. I have the SP1 Printer and I have no problem finding it and connecting to it via setting--> wifi but every time I open the app, it always says "cannot connect to printer". I've called fujifilm a year ago and they keep telling me the next app update will fix the problem. It's been a year and two updates and the problem still persists !! I've only had the printer for a year before the new iOS came out and the app somehow became unable to connect and my printer has just been wasting away. I'm very upset as I spent a lot of money on the printer. If this is some ploy to get customers to switch out the SP1 Printer for the sp2 and sp3, despite the app claiming to work for all three, I would be very disappointed.

Cute gift!. I know they sell the instax cameras nowadays, but with an iPad and iPhone, another camera was unnecessary. I got this lil printer as a gift and it’s great for scrapbooking pictures in your albums that you wouldn’t be able to print in lil polaroids if you hadn’t had the camera! While it is a little annoying switching back and forth between WiFi during print jobs, it’s doable. I’ve never had connection issues in the 2 years I’ve owned the instax printer and overall pretty pleased with it.

Waste of time. This is ridiculous. This application no longer works w/ my iPhone X. I have the Instax Share SP-1. It used to work just fine and now my device won’t stop blinking green after replacing the batteries and installing new film. On top of that, the app won’t connect to the printer. I have gone through every measure possible- allowing all features, clicking every in app feature beforehand. Everything you can think of. I get to the final step to print and the camera won’t connect while giving me a disclaimer to ‘update the application so I can use the latest features.’ This message pops up just after I’ve installed the application for the 10th time. Again, it’s absolutely ridiculous. It’s more upsetting that their new app for their new device seems to be working fine. I guess FujiFilm has no problem confirming that they don’t support past models and have no problem also confirming that they could care less about their customers. I see others are having the same issues. It’s very unfortunate and very disappointing. We all spent hard earned money for a printer to print memories for another corporation to take advantage and disregard customer service. It’s inexcusable and I hope others will join me in no longer purchasing FujiFilm products. Would be happy to adjust my position if this issue is fixed.

The app doesn’t function well. The photo color wasn’t vivid. I’m not sure if that’s because I didn’t turn on the intelligence filter. However, I found the app itself doesn’t function well. 1. Failed to login Instagram. By logging with Instagram, I see the returning error from server. 2. Failed to load the Facebook photos after logging Facebook account. It’s just blank! 3. The only option is to browse the photos from camera roll. However, it’s very hard to browse. You can’t access the albums to pick the favorite ones. You can’t go back to the recent one easily. You can’t edit the photos if they are not originally square. ( my printer is S3 for square pictures) You have to edit the photos by other photos and saved as new ones to print out easily. 4. The app doesn’t even fit to the latest layout if iOS and iPhone11 Pro Max. You can still see the black areas because this app doesn’t fit to the new sizing of iPhones. I think besides bug fixes. Engineers should work on UI as well. The design is just out of date! The product quality is good. But the matching app is just like 5 years ago design. iPhone is about to launch iOS14! This app really needs some improvements and it’s not expensive to do so. I also hope the app will be updated to fix the possible private network blocking feature abc other new changes on iOS 14 since I can only linked with WiFi for the printer. I am worried if that’s gonna be a disaster to turn my printer as a junk in next couple months.

Since the handling of "Location" authority settings on the iOS13 has changed, some customers happened to meet the trouble. Click "Real Time Template" at App screen, and select "Allow While Using the App." If this dialogue is not indicated, please go to iOS "Setting" menu and App item. Then select "While using the app" at "Location" menu.

Printer Still Works. I have an SP-2 and I have the lastest iPhone update 13.2 You can connect to your printer by clicking the real time template and accept the app using your location “Always while using app” in order for it to connect to your printer. I’m using mine perfectly fine. Just follow these instructions you’ll be ready to connect to it.

Doesn’t want to print with the new iPhone update. I love printing out memories I have with my friends and family but this new iPhone update doesn’t let me print out any pictures I haven’t used the printer since the update for the iPhone and yeah I want to keep printing but like I think you need to change the app or make it work with the new iPhone updates please make that possible. Also I tried the ways on the location but I don’t see the location on the app or I press the time thing on the app and nothing it doesn’t allow me to do it.

HELP. I’ve been obsessed with my instax printer since it was gifted to me a few years ago. Its always worked fine for me but realized that when I upgraded my phone to the new iPhone I have not been able to use it even while fixing the location issue that I’ve read in certain forums! I’m so sad this is my favorite printer and I refuse to get a new one if this will just happen again when I upgrade my phone in the future. Support is there anything you can do? Half way there. Update needed please almost as good as the Instax camera just need the darken and lighten feature on the photos and maybe fix the connecting issue to printer. Every time I turn printer on need to open wifi settings and connect to printer manually.

Broken image selection. It's impossible to select the photos you want. The Google photos option hangs the app and does nothing. You have to have photos locally on the device and organise them into albums to be able to print photos that are deep within your photo library. Really poor.

Disappointed to say the least!!. I brought my instax device and few years ago and it worked perfectly fine until now when I have tried using it through the app. It keeps saying that I need to load a new set of film when in fact the whole cassette is full of film!! I can’t use my device anymore and I paid good money for it!! I have read other reviews and I experience the same problem. Are you going to fix the app or what??!! How annoying!!

Hard to connect printer and phone. Great app however cannot print to SP-2 printer because it does not connect to the latest Apple and Samsung software updates. INSTAX PLEASE FIX ASAP

Waste of money - DO NOT PURCHASE. Was very excited to buy this so I could choose the photos to print on the film. The printer can’t stay on for more than 30 seconds. Will tell you that there is no film loaded despite there being a brand new packet in there. Just don’t bother, it’s such a headache to deal with.

Connection issue. I have tried the ‘location’ tips given but I still cant connect it. It keeps showing that I havent connected where in fact it is actually connected on the setting . Unhappy. I've been trying to print out some of my photos for a couple of days. I've made sure everything is on and ok. I'm on the app and i go to print out my photo. I go to " connect and print" I press it. I wait a couple of seconds and it goes to " download the latest application" I've downloaded it but still unable to print . VERY DISAPPOINTED!!! Use to be very easy and printed the photos in seconds

Infuriating. Whenever it’s noticed there’s an update in the App Store it won’t let you use the app and just gives you a pop up that takes you to the App Store. Total rubbish! I don’t always have wifi, why won’t you let me print???

Not able to use photos. I am not able to use photos taken from any mobile especially iPhone upon printing. When would the update be available?

Cool toy but... Just bought it recently. The first batch worked perfectly fine and the printed photos look great! The printed version has the same colour as seen from my iPhone 4s. Somehow, after 30 prints, the colour started to change. It's more yellowish now. I purposely printed the same photo as I first printed it to compare the difference. A little upset to the see the outcome. I guess it is just the printer, the app works well.

iOS 13 support. The app has been flawless until iOS 13. Work arounds suggested by Fuji don’t work for current iOS versions.

Ugly UI. I bought my new SP3 printer so expensive and beautiful and the download this app to print my photos from and it’s so ugly looking. Considering how luxurious the printer is why isn’t there an app to match. Please update the app User interface and please give custom template options for people to get creative. Also why can’t I print some photos? If you can’t print a photo can it have a reason why? Like it’s the wrong size or low resolution? It want to print some photos but I don’t know what’s wrong with the file cause the app doesn’t notify me with the reason.

Frustrating!. I’ve had this printer and app for years and never had any issues until yesterday when I tried to print photos for the first time in a few months. It printed the first print fine but when I refilled it the printer spat out ten prints with no photos (total waste of 10 prints) and now it won’t print anything!!! App keeps saying to download new version and can’t connect to the printer even though the WiFi says it’s connected to the printer. Please fix!!! I love this printer and is useless without the app 😔

Not compatible with iOS 13.. So I am updating my review. I contacted them about the iOS 13 issue and they said that it’s a security feature in the iOS now. You have to give the app access to your location. To do this either go to settings > scroll to instax share>location> select while using tha app. This option may not be there. If it isn’t open the instax share app and select the function “real time template” that will ask you to share location. Having done this the printer works well and I love it. The app is ok but I think it could have been better with more features. But it does what it says so I’m happy.

App blocks me from using it. Opening the app forces me to the AppStore to get the app version I’m already using (3.3.3). Hoping that this is a precursor to a great new app update built for modern phones. (Worth noting that the SP-2 printer itself is fantastic)

terrible app. not a lot of editing functions ... basically i have to edit it with other softwares and i can't even rotate it to fit the film properly...

Waste of my time. I got the instead share sp-1 a few years ago but I haven’t used it until now. Every time I go to print it says that I need to update the app when there’s no update at all. I have tried using it while it was on charge then I replaced the batteries and nothing will work. It’s very frustrating knowing that I can’t print anything

Waste of time. This app is riddled with bugs and problems it’s obvious the functionality has not been updated in a long time. Don’t use this app if you don’t want to waste your expensive film paper. Every time an image is edited the app just has a mind of its own and prints something completely different to what appears on the screen. Come on Fuji for a corporation of your size I expected better

Nice Printer. Disappointing App. Love the printer and the option to print from my phone but that’s it. The app looks old in terms of the design and has limited functionality. Templates are not that good and not allowing me to create a custom one, either that or the app is really difficult to understand. Also, I thought this has the capability to connect to social media platforms like Instagram and Facebook but I can’t see that option. I should have bought instax link, app looks great and has a lot of features compared to this.

I’ve been a long time user of the INSTAX SHARE SP-2 for years now, no problems up until the mishaps of the iOS 13 update My issue is that every time i try to open (tap on) the app, it just crashes??? I’ve been following the instructions of the location changes and i’ve been refreshing my iOS and checking for any updates with the app too.

This is a useless app. I never write reviews, but I have to for this. This app is honestly useless. It doesn’t work. It won’t connect to the printer, which then renders the printer unusable. I got the printer as a gift earlier this year and when I tried to use it, was really disappointed that I couldn’t. I ended up putting it in the cupboard and forgetting about it. I found it just now and thought I’d try again, but no. Still doesn’t work. How a company like Fujifilm have not improved this by now is honestly beyond me. Wouldn’t recommend it to anyone

Connection issues and not user-friendly. Connecting to printer is a hit and miss! Never a simple process! Also no access to favorite folder or other albums and signing into instagram results in an error message

Unable to print photos. Normally I love this printer. Love love love. However since this latest update in unable to select photos from my photo reel to print. Nothing I do (saving to phone, favouriting etc) has any consistent effect. I'm really disappointed -especially since I'm away at the moment and am unable to print photos as planned. Hasn’t worked since the iOS update. Have had the device for nearly a year and since the iOS update it hasn’t worked. I’ve done the “location” update change and the “real time” function but still won’t connect. Either can’t find the WIFI network or says “cannot print” when I try to use my iPad. Can’t update. I can’t use the app without updating to the latest version, but it won’t download. So I try deleting and reinstalling, but I can’t even download the app now. Better fix this soon- I didn’t buy this expensive gadget and it’s pricey film for it to be rendered unusable by an app that won’t work.

Unable to view all photos to print. I have loved this app to print my iPhone photos. The app needs a way to connect with iCloud Photo Library as new photos system optimizes photos. Whilst you know the photos are in your library, it's not been downloaded from the cloud. If Apple hadn't updated there wouldn't be a problem!

An ok app. Easy to use. Definitely needs a way to see what the photo will ACTUALLY look like (the colour in the photos can sometimes come out distorted on the prints). Definitely needs show "favourites" album when you're selecting photos to print as well.

Almost utterly useless. This is the buggiest app I have ever used. The app never indicates that the printer is on and connected, even though it is on and connected to its own network. I need to click two ‘No connection’ windows at least 10 times before it connects and goes to the printing screen (if I’m lucky). I also have to disconnect and reconnect to the printer network a number of times during this process. Mostly when the app goes to the printing screen, nothing happens, and so I have to force quit and reopen, and go through the above rigmarole AGAIN. Also, every single time it does print, the app freezes and I have no option but to force quit, open again and repeat this mundane process. I’ve only printed 7 photos so far and it’s a laborious pain. I wouldn’t recommend using this app AT ALL, but it’s the only app they have to connect to the printer!

IOS 13 NOT supported!. Cannot print from iPhone/iPad. Useless! Phone connects to printer but App can't see it, keeps on saying turn on printer and connect via wifi. Round and round the same circle! Can’t connect in iOS13. Since I’ve updated to iOS13 I can’t connect to the printer. It says it’s connected in Wi-Fi but won’t connect in the app. Just bought this printer and not happy that I’ve spent this money and now can’t use the printer.

The new version. The version doesn’t works. The app always said I didn’t connect the wifi. I tried a solution suggested in another comment and it didn't work.

Local network issues. Could not connect to the printer. Check if the local network is set to "Allowed" in the device's settings screen. Press the [Confirm settings] button. You will go to the "instax SHARE" setting screen. Move [Local Network] slider to the right to enable the permissions. Even if I activate the local network, that message keeps appearing and I can't connect to the printer.

Printer no longer works. Printer no longer works unless location services is actively enabled. Unacceptable policy change impacting the use of a multi-hundred dollar device. Buyer beware.

Password and reset doesn’t work. I had to download the app again since my phone wiped out the first time. It’s asking me for a password that I can’t remember so I tried to reset by holding the reprint button while it’s on. Using the default doesn’t work after resetting - what now?

Finally got it working. Having to connect to the devices wifi every time is a real pain. For the price of this device it should hook up to your wifi network and always be connected. Had to uninstall app and reinstall numerous times to get it working on iOS 14.

won’t connect, and need printer for Christmas. So it used to work before I had a new iPhone, it won’t connect. The app only gives the option to connect WHILE using the app, so if you leave the app to actually connect to the network in settings it boots you off immediately. Either that or your app or device is bugged. Please resolve this, I need to print photos off for Xmas and I shouldn’t have to replace this device because of this as it’s not my fault this is happening. I’ve read online and this is happening to everyone posting about it. It’s not as simple as changing the location settings because I did that and it still doesn’t work. If fujifilm can’t fix this I would 100% not recommend buying their instax products or wasting any energy on these apps.

It works it’s just you didn’t know!. So I got it today and when I went to connect my device it didn’t work and I was about to contact Fuji when I saw that all you have to do is Go to wifi settings and turn your machine on and you’ll see there’s an instax wifi with a number and connect to that and it should work!

Can’t browse favorite photos. The app allows you to select photos from your phone’s photo album, but you don’t have access to your favorites album.

IT WORKS. Really glad this works again. Redownloded the app, connected to printer wifi, connected to printer in app and printed. Still a clunky interface though.

New phone now printer does not work. I got a new phone and now my printer won’t connect even when I allow location sharing. It would be great if this app had the option of updating so when people have spent money on a printer update their phone they can continue using their printer. If it’s not updated my next printer will not be from Fuji.

Very poorly designed app. This is one of the least user friendly apps I’ve ever had to use. The app connects through a wifi connection instead of through Bluetooth which makes the connection weak and sometimes not recognizable at all. It generally needs to be disconnected between each print and usually can’t recognize when the printer is turned on. I would not recommend purchasing this printer to avoid using this app

ios 15.6. i just recently updated my phone and since i have i have not been able to connect to my printer. I’ve seen in the past that others have not been able to after updating there phone is there anyway this can be fixed so i cant print things please? Other than that this app has worked great with everything else!

Wants location services but no setting exists on iPad. Teeing to use this app on my iPad Air 4 and an SP-2 but when I try to connect to the printer it says that I have to enable location services in the settings, however when it takes me to the settings there is no option. I cannot use this app at all. Why dies it need location services? It’s a freaking photo printer. I can’t believe such a pointless requirement is keeping me from using my printer.

Needs work. No option to fit all of original photo. It either cuts the top or the bottom of original photo. Forced to add more width in photoshop & make a SQUARE, then will print with full image.

Cannot print / no internet connection. I have an older version of the instax printer sp1. Tried for an hour on my iPhone 13 to print with the app and it will not print AT ALL. Very frustrating. Tried all the tips and tricks online and none of them work ( turning location on, resetting network, turning on/off Bluetooth, etc). Under the printer’s wifi , it just says “no internet connection”. It used to work really well a few years back but the app/ machine just couldn’t keep up with technology, despite fujifilm’s “fix”. I would imagine a $250 dollar machine to last longer than a few years. When I try to connect with Fujifilm, there’s only an option to call but the call centre closed. Again very frustrating. Please recall all your old printers if they are not going to work and give your customers an updated one. Very disappointed. A waste of time and money. I would give it a zero star if that was an option.

Now, it doesn’t even show up in the WiFi list in my settings. Turned locations on. Pressed blue time stamp button in the app. Deleted and downloaded app multiple times. Turned devices on and off. Nothing works. What a waste of money...

Not compatible with iOS 13!. Tried to use it for the first time since updating to iOS 13...iPhone WiFi settings says it's connected to the printer's internet, app says it's not. I have run into the same issue with my dash cam app. Dear developers - please update your app to be compatible with iOS 13! I use this semi-frequently (often to send little instax photos along with mailed gifts) and I'm bummed I can't use it to print photos for this thank-you card I am writing to my grandparents. Printer won’t connect to my phone. I’ve tried just about everything to get this printer to connect to my phone with the iOS 13 software and it won’t. I’ve enabled my location in real time template and I’ve also enabled it in my settings while using the app. Everything else works how it is supposed to except when you try to connect to the printer all it says is no connection even though in settings it says it is connected.

Worse application ever. Come in Fuji. You guys make amazing products. You have fantastic camera software updates with love. How can you guys mess this up. I’m a IT software guy and I can’t even get this thing to work. Did you outside this app to the lowest bidder. Makes me think about return my SP-3 printer since now it’s extremely gimped because of this. I can only print from camera now. Your going to lose lots of valuable customers if you keep releasing these turds.

Still works after update you guys!!. You have to share your location with the app in order for it to work. 3 stars because it was difficult for people and myself to figure it out without going on here and reading reviews because it cannot be found via google.

Fixed the issue. Ive had this for about 2 months now and it was great at first and worked perfectly but then as you can tell by other reviews it stopped working for updated phones with ios 13 which was really upsetting but thankfully they took the criticism and fixed it and its back to working perfectly fine :)

This app was excellent. This app was great easy to use and had a little trouble with it at the begging but after a little troubleshooting was amazing make sure to get party version it has more features

Don’t update your iOS. I’ve followed all the instructions that that the developers have told me yet my phone still does not register the printer. I’ve enabled all location preferences, I’ve deleted and reinstalled the app and still my phone doesn’t recognizes my printer. Before I updated my ios I was able to print but now whenever I connect to my printer’s WiFi, it keeps showing an error message saying it’s not connected when my WiFi settings say it’s connected. Ridiculous. There’s a reason this app has a 2 star rating.

Doesn't work anymore!!. For the first few months that I had this app, everything was working perfectly fine. When I updated my phone to ios 13.1.2, it didn't work, so I followed the new instructions (allow location, etc). It worked, but the next day, it stopped working again. I tried to redownload the app and follow the instructions again, but it doesn't work anymore!!

Does not work with new IOS update even with location turned on. I went into settings and allowed location while using and did the Real Time template suggestion, but neither has allowed the app to find printer even though it is connected via wifi. Developers—help. Please update this app to correct or supply another solution beyond allowing location permissions. Thank you.

Updated to iOS 13. I’ve used this app since 2016! It’s a very old app but it is straightforward. I just got a new phone which has iOS 13 and lo and behold it doesn’t connect to the printer anymore :( luckily I use another phone that hasn’t updated to the new iOS. Please update this app to make it more user friendly and more modern!

Connection issue solution. I’ve been using this App for a few years now. It stopped working after the IOS 13 update. SOLUTION: Go to the app, click “real time template” and allow it to access your location. Should work normally again!

Disappointed and need help. I’ve had this app and printer for years and never had any problems with it but now it won’t print. I’ve tried everything they said to do like turning on the location and everything for the app and even getting rid of and redownloading the app itself. The worst thing is I just bought a bunch of Polaroid print paper because it was working a few weeks ago before I got my phone updated and now it’s not.

Useless after new update. I have had my instax printer since July 2015 and after my phone automatically updated I can no longer connect to the printer. It will say I am connected to the wifi but the app says it cannot connect to the printer. I turned my location settings on in the app and confirmed that I did so in my settings and it still does not work. Super disappointing that I can no longer print.

Used to work. I have never had any issues with my printer (SP-1) until the most recent iOS update to 13. Ever since, I am able to connect to WiFi however when I try to print, I am given the connect to printer error... This is very frustrating. I use this printer a ton and hope that this issue is resolved quickly. I just recently purchased a dozen packs of film for an up coming vacation.

Works great for me!. I noticed this app has a lot of negative reviews mostly from a year ago so I’m guessing there’s been improvements! Just downloaded it yesterday for my instax printer and have had no issues with it! Hopefully I don’t run into any but so far so good!!

Doesn’t work on ios13. I’ve used this printer and app for a couple of years now and it’s been great. However, after updating to iOS 13 a couple of days ago, the printer no longer connects to the app. I have tried all the solutions mentioned online, such as turning the location settings to while using app, redownloading the app, and resetting the printer. However, even when my phone connects to the printer’s WiFi, the app still doesn’t sync to the printer. I can no longer use this printer anymore.

Good, but don’t upgrade your iPhone. I’m quite upset, we really did enjoy this app and the hardware. But I’ve read all the troubleshooting details and attempted to get the SP-1 to connect to my phone since the new OS released by Apple. I even booted the app and re-downloaded it, in the hopes that my phone may have missed an update. No use for the iOS 13.1.2 users - I’ll try again when I can find another 2.5 hours to spare.

Won’t Connect. The printer will no longer connect to my iPhone 6+. Enjoyed printing pics from my phone, but now most of the pics say, “Cannot print this picture,” and the phone will no longer connect to the printer. I have updated the app, no connection. When I go to the website, there is no way to send Fujifilm a question. I searched the meager troubleshooting hints, but nothing helps. If I could give this 0 stars, I would. There seems to be nowhere to go for help.

Access to iCloud photos. The apps works great, but a few upgrades would make it perfect. 1) It won’t let me select photos in the cloud, a quick workaround is to select the cloud photo in a text message and it will then download it for you (2) must select the printer under wifi to use app, I don’t have to do that for the Sprocket app (3) update the design of app, it’s a bit dated.

a little confusing but great. once you get the hang of it, it works well! having to disconnect to its network is a bit inconvenient especially when you’re multitasking BUT otherwise it’s a pretty nice app! the features in the app are a bit old fashion but straight to the point

Gross practice by Fujifulm.. This is not a great app, but it does print. What is gross is Fuji made a better app but made it proprietary to the mini link only! There is no reason to do that other than to give their customers a bad taste in their mouths. Same size film basically the same printer but with useless features that I can only imagine would make you waste more prints. You could have just charged for the app and I’d be happy to pay but now you lost a customer. SMH

App works poorly and violates privacy. Skip this app. This app works inconsistently at best: Of the past five times I tried to print a picture with my printer, the app has let me do so once despite all the settings being the same each time. And, worse, this app demands access to your location and your entire photo album in order to print, despite working perfectly fine for years without access to either.

Doesn’t work with new iOS 13 update. I have had this printer for quite some time and I have had no problems with connecting to the printer until now. I updated to the new iOS 13 and I am no longer able to connect to my printer. I have literally tried everything to try and fix it, but I cannot fix it. I’m so sad because I went to a wedding this weekend and wanted to print photos out, but I am unable too. PLEASE UPDATE THE APP. I BEG OF YOU!!!!

Why isn’t it working?. This used to work great—open the app, connect to the printer and print as many pictures as you need. I just went on it and every picture I selected said that for whatever reason I couldn’t print that picture. I clicked print to see what would happen, hoping that it would print the image. Nope, I wasted a lot of film on this, and stuff is expensive. Pleas fix the app I really enjoyed it before.

Fix this app!. I used to love this little printer. I bought them as gifts for friends and family. I hadn’t used it for a while. I just picked it up today to use for a project and it is USELESS. Very frustrating. Won’t connect to my phone or allow me to print selected pictures the few times it did connect. I tried updating the firmware but the app won’t give me the option. If you did this to get people to buy the sp2 too bad. I’m going to get an HP Sprocket.

Can’t print anything at all. What a disappointment. I connected the printer to my phone through the app but it keeps saying there’s no film left. Despite the fact that I’ve purchased THREE brand new film packs (and yes, they’re loaded properly with the small yellow marks lining up). The app isn’t recognizing that there’s usable film in the printer at all. What a frustrating waste of money this thing is. I’m so glad I paid money to be so annoyed today 🙄

Please update the App!. I am beyond disappointed as I purchased the instax share SP-2 printer and it is completely useless as the app continues to give me an error that it cannot connect to the printer. I have tried restarting the printer, deleting and reinstalling the app, turning the WiFi on and off, restarting my phone, etc. DO NOT purchase the printer unless the app is updated! Such a waste of money and time to try and figure out how to make it print. Not to mention a waste of film that is now sitting in my printer. PLEASE UPDATE THE APP!!!!

Privacy Mess. After IOS updated to 13 this app required you to allow location permissions to utilize the printer over a WIFI connection. I imagine this is because the app was abusing location data gathering before IOS 13. Maybe it was just to gather location to set the clock but much more likely it was collecting location data to sell without users giving it location data access in prior IOS. Seems very shady to me.

DID NOT WORK. I am on iOS 13 and read all the reviews to turn the location on in order to print out the photos on the app - didn’t work and the printer still isn’t connecting to my phone. I called Fujifilm technical support who told me I just needed to wait for an update. I asked when I could expect an update - he said “whenever they come out with one”?!? Umm...wow that was super helpful. I just spent $200 on a printer that I now need to wait for an update in order to use?!? BS. 0 stars for the product and technical support.

Functional. I have the iPhone Xs and everything seems to be working fine! I edit all of my photos I take anyway, so I don’t really use the editing portion of the app. The quality goes down a little bit once the picture is printed, but it doesn’t bother be at all. Over all great and functional app for me personally, despite lots of people saying it doesn’t work for them.

App needs a major update. The printer wouldnt connect to the app and I would try multiple times. Its very difficult and annoying. I believe you guys should give this app a major update . The instax mini link app is so well organized and this one is very old and outdated. Please consider doing an app makeover for this app so that we don’t have to waste our money to buy a newer version of the printer !!

Experiencing “update problems”. I’ve also had this printer for almost 2 1/2 years , it was a gift for me. I hadn’t really ever used it but I thought that since it’s my senior year that I would print some pictures of my friends and I together in our journey. So I bought new batteries and I ordered the film used for the printer , but when I try to press connect and print for a picture it just notifies me to update the app to the newest version AND THIS IS THE NEWEST VERSION. Please look into this :(

Just reinstalled and it works again. Unable to connect after update. I’ve been trying to connect to my instax after the update, I did the location thing but it still didn’t work. I just wanna use my instax again 😫 Edit: UPDATE I just deleted the app and reinstalled it. Followed their instructions about location and things are working again.

App is...meh.... The app is easy to use but the brightness needs to be adjusted...the picture comes out brighter than what it originally is on the phone. Also, it would be great to be able to resize the photo into the square template. Every photo I want to print doesn’t turn out good bc my photo looks “zoomed in.” I would like to be able to resize the photo smaller to so I can see my full picture so it doesn’t looked like it was cropped. Also, not many filters to choose from.

Printer seems great quality but app doesnt work. Just got the instax share sp-2 brand new and it seems great quality hardware-wise; however, the app cannot connect to the printer so I am left with a useless box and unusable film. I don’t get the hate. This app is great! These reviews just tell me that some people can’t grasp how to function it. The printer I have is amazing. The app is simple and the process is so much easier than I anticipated. Polaroid Printers are a great invention overall.

It Works!. I don’t even know why so many people are having trouble. My SP-2 is working perfectly, the app is working perfectly..I was able to connect and everything. So easy to use, love it!

Mixed feelings. When the app works, it is very useful and neat. Although, the app is not updated regularly. You will sometimes have to wait months in order to just print again because the app will not work. I love the idea of being able to print your pictures from your phone onto a Polaroid but if it doesn’t work all the time, I would keep your $100 dollars

won’t connect to my printer??. i have had my instax printed (sp3) for a few months now and it was working great the first few times i tired. today i went to the app wanting to print some photos but it keeps saying that it’s not connected. i checked my wifi and it said i was ON the instax wifi yet the app says i’m not connected. idk what’s happening but please fix this asap! i spent a lot of money on this and i don’t want this to just not work!! please please fix this!!

Useless. Cannot print pictures.. I just bought my printer and connected it to this app. Unfortunately, it gives me the error message “cannot print this photo” for all of the pictures I’ve taken with my phone. I have successfully printed two photos from Google Photos... but it takes several attempts to connect to google photos.... dysfunctional app makes the $100+ purchase of the printer a waste of money.

DO NOT UPDATE YOUR PHONE!. I recently got the iPhone 11 and it has IOS 13.2. I still cannot connect even after turning on location devices. I tried to contact customer service but it kept crashing on me when I submit the question/concern. That’s a little sketchy that I can’t submit. Anyways, hopefully they get back to me through here because there’s no way of contacting them. I really hope I don’t have to buy ANOTHER printer when there’s nothing wrong with it except it doesn’t work on lower IOS.

So upset. I’ve had this printer for about four years a love it! Never had any issues with it till today! Printer won’t concert I’ve watch problem shooting videos and read all the faq and no one has an answer! Yes my phone is newly updated but the “ location” thing never even pops up under my app. I’m beyond frustrated! I’ve spent over two hours restarting my phone and printer and done almost everything under the sun to fix. I’m to the point I’m going to throw it at a wall.

Connecting is very tricky iOS13. It doesn’t connect in iOS13 unless you click on “real-time template” section in the app and grant the phone access to the location. Then it connects with no problem. Please make it clear and easier to connect for people. I had to search a lot to find out about this issue.

WiFi will not connect even after all the updates. I have an iPhone 7plus and even after all the steps to allow access to my location (which does appear) or use the real time frame, it still didn’t connect. I never had problems before connecting to the printer... can someone please reply and help because I really still like this product.

Updated to iOS 13.3. I’m using instax sp-2 printer on an iPhone 6s updated to iOS 13.3 and it currently works. Thank you for trying to stay up to date. Before the app wasn’t working on the new iOS but it does for my phone now.

Thanks for the iOS update fix!!!. I absolutely LOVE this app and use it nearly every day to print pics for scrapbooking. I was totally bummed to discover that it wouldn’t connect after the big iOS update. I came here to ask you to please do a fix and saw the instructions on how to get it connected again. I did it and it worked perfectly! Now I’m back in business 😍 I’d been using my old iPad mini like another reviewer but that thing is as slow as molasses! Thanks for a great app! I don’t understand the 2 star rating AT ALL.

Won’t print. I used to be able to print tons of pictures but my phone updated and now I can’t. I followed the instructions of how to make it print for an IOS 13 or newer and it still won’t print anything. I’ve tried looking on every website and can’t find how to fix this problem because my location is on “while using the app” like they said.

"This picture cannot be used". I wanted to print out some pictures after a while of not printing some and I never had any trouble prior to today. I saw some other reviews that have the same problem as me but when I try to print ANY picture it literally won't let me. Please fix this! This printer was not the cheapest thing in the world and I will be very very disappointed if I bought it for it to turn out that I can't print pictures anymore..

very sad- used to work fine. This app used to work fine, I printed perfect photos a few months ago. I tried to print polaroids yesterday and the app won’t even open. It crashed every time. I click on it, it’s a black screen, and then my home screen pops back up. I tried to turn in location like the website says and that did nothing. I’m so disappointed because this is truly one of my favorite apps and I love printing polaroids. Please fix it so it works with newer iPhones and doesn’t crash every time I click on it:(
